The front desk was very nice and the beds were comfortable I have stayed here before but since then this hotel has gone down The hotel is very expensive for the area and service

The walls are extremely dirty and the elevator doors are nasty I could barely eat my food for looking at the walls I have never seen dirty walls like this even at cheaper hotels From the time you get off the elevator it’s nothing but nasty stains on the walls You can tell they do not wipe anything off I was shocked since we are living with Covid and Monkey Pox Before your stay I would advise buying some wipes and cleaning before you touch anything Breakfast was from 6am to 8am How ridiculous!! I went down there at 8:15am looking for coffee and was told I would have to use the pot in the room because the kitchen was closed I asked for sugar because you only get 2 tiny packs She told me I couldn’t get any sugar ask the front desk I’m a travel agent and I will never stay here again nor will I ever have any of my clients stay here Advice for management Take some of the money people are paying for those expensive rooms and invest in some cleaning products

Front desk staff was very nice and personable Room was clean but the carpet or AC smells of mold and dampness it’s over powering The reason we booked this hotel was for the pool which was very similar to the swamps we toured earlier in the day

The water was green and cloudy with green algae covering the walls, steps and ladder There were dozens of large water bugs swimming in the pool and in the corners of the pool there were super cute water bug nurseries with 100’s of little babies I only give 2 stars because the front desk attendant was so nice Otherwise it would be a 1 star Stay else where

Although the hotel seems to be the most updated place, the little dirty town of Abbeville has, don’t let that fool you Housekeeping isn’t even doing the most basic things, such as wiping the spilled and sprayed stuff on the walls right behind the headboards and walls in the most noticeable places The faucet in the bathroom is crusted and spotty, mold buildup around the floor in front of the tub, and what I’m sure is a huge gross booger on the light socket in the bathroom

If cleanliness isn’t your focus and you need to stay in Abbeville, it’s your best option The staff was friendly, and they do offer free breakfast, which was a plus for the three teenage boys playing a baseball tournament Food on these trips gets expensive

The outer appearance looks great The surrounding area has plenty of places to eat The staff was polite and accommodating

Lobby nice and has modern decor My stay was only for one night while passing through LafayetteNow the problem with the hotel the inside of the rooms look clean but have ants and roaches Small roaches were in the bathroom Some fell out of my towel after I used it to dry off Elevator wreaks of urine

Wonderful Courtyard in a great area of Lafayette within walking distance of many stores and restaurants Great staff, clean rooms A complete opposite property of the horrible TownPlace Suites across the street

Don’t stay at the TownPlace unless you like a cold breakfast and ride staff who is usually outside smoking cigs rather than paying attention to the hotel needs

The air conditioning in my first room did not work Walked into the room (in June) to see it at 77 degrees I had a work function to attend, so I turned it down and left thinking that it would be cool when I returned

Came back at around 11pm to a 78 degree room They moved me to a new room at midnightThe hotel is in a good location but the parking lot was full of people partying, so it was loud The pool was maybe 10×12 and fully covered by an overhang This is probably why I could not find photos of itThere was no hand soap in either of the rooms I was in and the room I moved into was also out of body washThe kitchen sink in the second room did not drain At allI left 2 clothing items in the room (I know exactly where I left them) and called 2 days after checking out to see if I could get my items back They apparently cannot find the 2 items I clearly left behindOverall, it was a pretty poor experience

Rooms are a little squeezed Not much space for a suite Especially the one I got with 2 beds

The sink is gross and filthyThe shower head fell off as I took a shower The lady at check in wasn’t friendly, I had an early checkin approved but she wanted to make me wait till 3pm or 12pm Thank God I remembered the lady who approved my early check in (Thanks Bree 🙂 you’re a life saver ) I work nights, so a nice quiet dark room would be ideal There were loud noises coming from the room above mine And the blinds leave a space under, so light comes in to the room It’s not really darkOther than all the, everything else was just okay

Stay somewhere else The hotel itself is fairly new However it it very poorly managed

The front desk employees need some serious customer service training You have to ask for extra towels and bedding because they don’t provide enough for the number of people in your room The elevators are slow Despite numerous attempts we could never connect to the wi-fi The breakfast “buffet” is a complete joke! And forget trying to communicate with the cleaning staff None of them speak English The “pool” is the size of a hot tub

This is one of the best La Quinta properties that I have stayed in the last 10 years since I have been using the hotel chain The property seems new or recently refurbished Every corner of the property is shining

The staff and manager are extremely hands on and responsive to any issues or concerns Totally worth the tariff And the cherry on top is the excellent breakfast that they offer It is not just a coffee/ juice / cereal breakfast but many more options I hope the staff keeps up their attention to detail and the management supports them

The young lady who helped me on Saturday (2/26/22 around 4pm) afternoon was excellent She was under staff had a lot of check ins The hotel was over book

she had to go n clean room Front desk was busy I feel the morning people didn’t make sure that rooms was ready for afternoon Was given a room and it look like the people decided to stay another night for free Morning workers drop the ball for the afternoon shift N left her alone to deal with the mishaps

My husband and I traveled from Texas to the La Quinta Inn Broussard We got in around 9:30 pm

When we got to our room, the light was on, the bed was unmade, and there were towels on the bathroom floor When we went back downstairs, the nice lady at the front desk was apologetic and told us she’d call her general manager and have everything rectified as soon as possible They found us a room shortly and up we went While the bed was made and we had fresh towels, the room hadn’t been cleaned It hadn’t been vacuumed, the sink and shower were dirty, and that toilet! There were feces remnants in the bowl and urine down the front of the toilet and under the seat We were tired and didn’t want to do another room change which would likely mean a hotel change because this was the last “clean” room I called the front desk The nice lady who helped us earlier was very apologetic I told her it was unacceptable, and she told me she’d leave a note for her GM When we checked out the next morning, I asked to speak to the GM While she was apologetic and explained they’re short staffed, it was clear she had bigger fish to fry I thought this whole experience deserved a rate reduction Get it together, La Quinta! I’m guessing we aren’t the only people who’ve experienced this issue No paying customer wants to clean the feces and urine of someone they don’t know It was disgusting!PS Thank you to the accommodating lady at the front desk I’m sorry I don’t know your name

The hotel staff are outstanding! I was asked today “How can I make your experience better while you stay with us?” and I have never been asked this by someone in the hotel industry

ever I feel valued There is an older smell coming from the hallway, but I was told that their renovations were commencing after the summer so I can’t wait to come back and see my friends!

Staff was excellent We arrived around 2:00AM and unfortunately the first room had a severe odor problem (mold), the staff was incredibly sweet and had no problem switching us rooms We moved to another room on another floor and had a decent night sleep

However when we woke up in the morning the bathroom to our room had the same mold issue the previous room had

Very rundown and dirty hotel If I could give zero stars I would Pulling in the parking lot was very dark and uninviting

Walking in the front door it was dirty and had a strong aerosol smell Desk lady was very friendly After check in I get to my room and the door frame is screwed together and you can tell door has been kicked in Then for the room it was very dirty with what I think was roach feces all over the bed Room also had a strong aerosol smell to cover up the feces smell Needless to say I checked in and right back out and didn’t stay here Would not recommend anybody stay here

We stayed for a week in our fifth wheel As others have said the sites are cement and spacious We liked that it was a small park & was well maintained

Small laundry & fishing pond on site Good mix of long-term, worker, & tourist patrons This park sits in a good location for visiting attractions south of Lafayette, such as Avery Island Youngsville seems like a newer community, & we enjoyed using the walking path at the nearby sports complex & outdoor concert at Sugar Mill pond The owner was visible throughput our stay & greeted us by name

Mr Wisc

This is a very nice RV park, quiet, and kept very clean My family and I stayed here for two weeks and the people here are very friendly The owner John, was very friendly and professional by greeting me and my family when we checked in; asked us if we needed anything and pointed out all the amenities

One bonus to the RV park that we have not experienced until arriving at this RV park was the fishing pond that is on the property My kids and I had a wonderful time at the catch and release pond Dogs are allowed, when we received mail, the front office called us to notify of packages that had been delivered I honestly and truly have nothing negative to say about the RV park If you need propane, until this park has it on sight, you can go to PSC hardware for filling tank’s

Izzy hernandez

We drove 12 hours to get to Louisiana Once we got to the RV park, we were blown away John personally came over to greet us and made us feel welcome

Super clean park and facilities Staff are the best John is on the spot for any issues This is the finest RV park we have ever stayed in and of we are in part of Louisiana again, we are definitely staying here
