This place saved my friend and I We finished packing up my house in Texas into the u-haul and 15-16 hours later we arrived in Georgia We were absolutely spent but we still needed to unpack the truck

We arrived at midnight and finished unpacking around 4 am, at which point we went inside the house and found that it was nowhere near in a livable condition Originally we were going to tough it out but I decided we really needed a decent few hours of sleepI got on my phone and looked for hotels that were pet friendly and looked for something a bit nicer than the cheapest ones and I saw Tru Reviews looked good and the price was decent so I booked itI was so tired I didn’t notice that it stated well check in time was 3pm 😩We gave it a shot anyway and luckily they had a room for us that earlyWe only had about 3 hours to shower up and nap before I had to take my friend to the airport but those 3 hours were just what we needed The shower felt amazing after working all day and the 25 hours of sleep we got felt like 10 hoursWhat stuck out to both of us was how comfortable the beds were and how for a pet friendly hotel, it didn’t smell like it at allI still technically had the actual nighttime to stay there but I was thinking I would try the house but after how comfortable it was, I just decided to go back and got a really good night sleep the last night before going to the house

This was a last minute trip for me It’s up in room 309 and it had a beautiful view of the sunset The room was a decent size for me but if you’re traveling with a family make sure to get a double beds one

It does have a Mini fridge in there but the microwave is downstairs, it’s a nice hotel and the front staff is really great I did get to encounter 2 of the housekeepers and they were very sweet as well The breakfast lady was nice enough to let me grab some breakfast at 5:56 AM because I had to get to work Will be visiting again in the future if I come back to Kennesaw

Stayed at Home2 from 7/15-23 Our room was so comfortable The amenities like the laundry, gym, & bbq area added to enjoyable stay

Front desk & hotel staff were very accommodating, helpful, & knowledgeable The morning staff provided excellent service during breakfast hours We loved our stay & will continue to make our hotel reservations when we travel to the mainland from Hawaii

We booked 2 rooms for 1 night and I will definitely be choosing this hotel to stay at when visiting family This hotel was amazing The breakfast was great

There was always fresh hot coffee daily and throughout the evening The rooms are spacious and allow pets James and Eden made it a pleasurable experience and were so very helpful with smiling faces!

Barbara Adelung

When you walk in it looks very nice Once we got to the room the top blanket was dirty with makeup Pulled the bed sheets down for bed and you could tell they were not changed from the last guest

The stand up shower floor was stained from not being cleaned properly and the microwave had melted cheese stuck to the top, sides and the door The entire place smelled of dogs I have no problem with dogs being able to stay however I feel like there should be either designated rooms or floors I asked at the front desk and was told they stay in any room So what happens if I have allergies to dog dander, well I would be screwed Went down for breakfast which was nothing like they advertised All around a terrible night stay

I stayed at the hotel as a part of a large group for a business tripCheck In: When we arrived, the hotel was scrambling to get rooms ready I had a room ready for me, however, some of my colleagues had to wait

My Diamond status was not recognized at check-inRoom: The room was a little dated The carpet felt a little sticky at some parts It may be due for a deep clean/shampoo The bed was comfortable One of my colleagues still had cleaning supplies left in his kitchen Some of my colleagues did not have very clean rooms, most likely due to the rush My refrigerator was turned to maximum cold but was at room temperature The freezer worked very wellGym/Pool: The hotel had a very small gym The pool was nice but it did not open until 9 AM which did not help with anyone who wanted a morning work outBreakfast: The staff at breakfast was nice There were some decent hot and cold options at breakfast such as pre-made heated omelettes and breakfast sandwichesCheck out: I attempted to get a late check out as a Diamond Member However, they would not give me anything past 1 PM They said that they were too busy to offer anything later such as the 4 PM check out for Diamond membersNice front desk but needs a lot of improvement

I don’t give 5 star ratings easily but this place was the most thoughtfully laid out, clean, and well run hotel I’ve been to And yes, I’ve been to plenty of “high end” hotels

When you walk in the door the vibe here is that everyone is welcome There are lots of seating vignettes, a pool table, snack bar, and 24/7 coffee bar Great color palette, super clean, and the front desk guy was just the best He felt more like a helpful friend, not just someone doing their jobWe got a 2 queen room and again the design was super thoughtful Instead of curtains, there were 2 blinds on the window, one of which was set into the frame so every ounce of light is blocked Instead of tiny bottles of shampoos, conditioners, and soaps (that don’t have enough product and get tossed into the landfill) they have very nice dispensers filled with luxury, high end, moisturizing hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash The floors were a nice hardwood laminate instead of carpet, great tv (if you’re into that) and again everything was spotless and super cleanBreakfast was nice and the staff took care to make sure everyone had what they needed Check out was easy and overall it was just a really nice place to stay This would be a great location for groups but is equally as good for families traveling with kids

Meagan Warfield

The hotel was opposite all the other hotels and off on its own, so it was very quiet There are dozens of restaurants with literally any type of cuisine you could want within a couple miles The beds weren’t bad and the sheets were super soft

The staff was friendly There is a lot of seating in the lobby and also a pool table The pool was still closed when we went, but it has an adorable seating area outside The room was very clean and so was the bathroom Water pressure was great and hot water seemed never ending! Would definitely recommend if you need a place to stay with options

Lester Epps

Great location provides easy access to interstate Lots of restaurants nearby Very nice room

Very clean The breakfast was so good Very friendly staff The first night of our stay started out a little bad there were some youth base ball teams staying there that night And boys were running up and down the hallways and the stairs chasing each other and hitting each other with a rubber ball And they were playing on the elevators Just making a lot of noise! I spoke to the boys as they were running down the hallway I told them that this was not a playground But they just continued on making all of the noise and running laps around each of the floors of the hotel!!!! Not sure where the parents and or chaperones were Definitely not watching the boys! So after about 3 hours of this I called the front desk and told the staff member what was going on she apologized and said she would handle it And she did!!!!! It was perfectly quiet the rest of the night Enjoyed our stay here Will stay here in the future for sure Would recommend this hotel

Diane Liao (CheetahYing)

We stayed at room 403 for a week and we felt pretty comfortable in general It was quite spacious inside the room, the mattress was like a medium firmness which is very decent, and all the beddings were clean and refreshing It was pretty quiet and that allowed us to get good quality of sleep

However, there were two downsides though, one is that there might be some ladybug problems since we saw quite a few walking along the wall and some were near the heater but fortunately, we didn’t spot any nasty insect like cockroaches Another unpleasant thing is that $155/night is certainly overpriced because it is technically not a fancy hotel, and also the fact that it does not come with much free amenities nor a decent showerBreakfast was delicious though, and we liked that they offered a variety of options for your main meal, such as customized ingredients to put in your omelets Last but not least, staffs in the front desk and those at the bar were all friendly and nice We really appreciated that!

A’Kendal Fairley-Woodard

Hilton Garden Inn (room 416) was a good experience It was in a great location and close to what I needed while in townUpon arrival I was greeted by Jessica who was very nice and accommodating

I will say, the line of hotels are “very nice” however this particular one was just a tad bit over priced It could’ve been the particular weekend we neededUpon entering the room, we were welcomed with a clean room and complimentary waters (due to my member status)Breakfast was nice but I do feel for the price of the room, it could have been includedThe b’fast host was working by herself but did a great job at serving all those that were seated for breakfast Mr Javier was nice as well and cooked a fabulous breakfast It was cooked to order in front of youOverall, I will probably stay again if ever in the area

Tktradesmen

Sometimes word can not express how delighted ones experience are The staff and quality of this location was superb However a special appreciation should be given to the breakfast staff in the kitchen

The cook goes above and beyond to make sure you get exactly what you want Please take a look at the plate I was served, keep in mind this a motel How could you articulate near perfection ? Instead of offering words of contentment I will simply leave you with a photograph and let you be the judge

The hotel was quiet, clean and the staff was helpful and available if you needed helpThe breakfast was hot and tasted goodDinner was great

The service was very good The waitress was polite no matter how many times you changed your order The Manager visited my table because I was cold, he moved our table and raised the heat It was a cold night in Georgia

Brandy Viles

Check in went great, friendly professional lady Weird smell everywhere in the building It was like the water was left in the carpet after cleaning

The suite was awesome as usual Set up is perfect for doing business while with family enjoying their space as well Unfortunately not the cleanest of locations Moldy shower and door and hand towel had stains The coverlet on the bed had stains Not what I would expect from Embassy Suites The managers reception and breakfast was great as usual with cheerful helpful staff Heads up for service dog travelers their was a hidden $75 charge added on check out receipt

Carmen P

I give a 5 star because overall it was a good stay I only had a couple concerns, one being it seemed that our room wasn’t cleaned very well before we got there It was hair on the bedroom and bathroom floors (not a crazy amount but had it been vacuumed and swept properly it would have come up)

Another thing was the obvious pee stains on the bathroom wall and door ( the toilet was so close the the wall and door I see how it could happen but gross someone needs wipe it) Lastly the pool, it was way too many people in the pool at the same time we were in there and it was uncomfortable being there my small children having so many others there at the same time It’s a sign saying up to 65 people allowed, 65 people is too many It was maybe 20 when I was there and that seemed crowdedThe things I did enjoy was the quiet stay, the walls didn’t seem to be thin like some hotels The customer service staff was excellent, friendly and helpful Majority clean and pleasant (just the minor things in our room but we are all human, it happens) The complimentary breakfast is a perk The close proximity of shopping and restaurants and activities and the highwayI would definitely stay here again and recommend this place to others

The property is beautiful The staff is great The rooms are comfortable

I was there for 4 weeks, (different room, each week) For the most part an excellent experience I do feel they need to make better use of the facilities to generate better revenue Lounge hours are pretty minimal for the beautiful bar room they are under using The restaurant, Hamilton’s is only open for the breakfast buffet What? You could do so much more with this place! Nowfor the rest Pillows are terrible, the TV reception is awful Each room I stayed in, the TV lost signal exactly an hour into use Never to restore Every room smelled strongly of men’s aftershave upon arrival The breakfast buffet has serious temp issues Hot foods remain warm at best Dont hesitate to check cleanliness I didn’t realize it until I went to use it However there was a bunch of long black hairs all over the shower walls I mean I can see how things can get overlooked when rushed But, that was a bit much Other than these few strange things, the place was amazing Loved it!

Matt Devitto

Out of all the vendors, restaurants, venues, etc, this was the ONLY disappointment of our wedding weekendI’ll start with the positives: the hotel and suite were very nice looking, the breakfast was very good, and the servers were friendly

Now on to the bad We had been in contact and signed our hotel block contract with Debbie 11 months ahead of time She promised us several things that apparently turned out not to be true (these were not in writing, so shame on us for that)- We were promised that we could increase the size of our hotel block whenever we wanted; turns out that’s not true- We were promised that if we booked x% of our hotel block that we would be given our suite for free; turns out that was not true- We were promised to have a private room for breakfast for all our guests; turns out that’s not true unless we paid a significant fee for it- At a certain point Debbie stopped responding to any and all of our attempts to reach out, and when we finally got a hold of somebody else at the hotel we were told that Debbie had retired After explaining everything that Debbie had told us, the new staff essentially said they didn’t promise it and that’s not how it works so tough luck The only consolation that we got from the hotel was after my wife going back and forth with them, they were gracious enough to give us a suite for the same cost as the block and not full priceFor a company in the hospitality industry, this was the worst customer service we’ve experienced and do not recommend using them

Jennifer Waldeck

The property is very pretty and the room was comfortable with a golf course view However, there is nothing to to eat here between breakfast and dinner And front desk staff JORGE couldn’t care less

Customer service abysmal in this regard Sent me next door to a golf grill that didn’t even appear to have table servicea snack bar And it was closed for a private event I went back to front desk and he wanted to argue with me that he had no way of knowing that Well when the only option on the property for food is closed for a private event and that’s where the front desk is sending people, I feel like they need to make it their business to know The pro shop was suggested the perhaps I could find a bag of chips there Or the so-called pantry which also had chips and day-old boxed salads This is completely unacceptable and the attitude at the front desk was worse They acted like this is completely normal and that the expectation that a guest would be able to find lunch in a huge, full-service resort hotel seemed unreasonable to them I might as well have stayed at a lower end Hilton Garden Inn

I have been coming here for the past 3 monthsThe rooms are nice but the level of service is really going lowerIt has always been quite nice but The room service is now coming only once a week instead of 3 times per week

The service at the reception is nice but not very helpful Anytime I highlight the fact that noone is taking care of my room, they apologize, they take the number of my room, they say that someone will come today and then Nothing happensIt is a pity, it could be a really nice hotel but it seems that the room service team is understaffed or not consistent enough

David Johnson

The rooms were modern and update I thought I may have found a great alternative to the big chain hotels…everything was great until I discovered the bed bugs Initially, I thought I was bitten by a mosquito or two because I had been outside walking

Awoke to multiple bites and pulled the covers back and checked the mattress and found bed bugs in both places I notified the front desk staff and because I was traveling with a group they didn’t address my concerns directly I ultimately checked into the Hampton Inn across the street and experienced no problems

Ebony Malone

I love the size of the rooms and they were very clean They only have room service on Monday, Wednesday and Friday so if you are staying for the weekend then you will have to get fresh linens and towels on your own

The only drawback was the crowds of people partying that formed in the pool are and at the back of the hotel I didn’t enjoy hearing loud music while I was trying to sleep and I didn’t enjoy asking people to get off my truck and being whistled at by a bunch of drunk men in a poorly lit parking lot while I was trying to get inside to my room with my kids

My Husband and I stayed here a couple of months ago and it was a wonderful experience We stay at many B&Bs across the South, but Lynn and her Husband do B&B right! They made us feel so at home, the home is stunning We are bringing our entire family down in November to celebrate Thanksgiving

I can’t say enough about the hospitality and the beauty of this wonderful respite!

Jackie Bagley

Lynn was a wonderful host She is very kind and accommodating We stayed in in the Captain’s Room, which features a king bed and claw foot tub

Each room has access to Direct TV The bed in our room was a soft bed- for us that was perfect, but I do know some people prefer harder beds so I wanted to make that apparent Breakfast was served promptly at 0900 ( it was a Sunday morning) For Covid restrictions, Lynn served our plates for us and we were seated more than 6 feet away from other guests For those of you who are looking for something different this is the place to be It is relaxing, quiet and quaint It is not cheaper than a hotel, so do not be expecting that The breakfast was good The french toast casserole was delicious Some critiques would be: the house is kept really warm I like to sleep in a cold environment ( and I’m pregnant) and it was too warm for me I think the house is kept around 74 There were fans in my room so it helped with the heat, but I think each room should have their own AC The food was good, but I do think it was lacking in salt and pepper She does provide salt and pepper packets though Overall, I would recommend people to stay here It has that homey feel that hotels lack and it provides the breakfast that Airbnb rentals lack

Housekeeping not provided unless you stay 5+ days or longer Had to go to the front desk for towels, tissue, etc Called to ask for housekeeping to at least come get the trash from the room and I was told to bring the trash to the front desk and they will take care of it

The price of my stay was not worth it considering what I had to go through The lobby looks amazing but the rooms could use some updated furniture and kitchen appliances

Miz Krickett

The service was horrible My children and I were put out on the streets after being displaced from our home flooding I was informed after check out time when the staff could have advised me the extension that they were guaranteed to receive hadn’t been extended

I left a couple of hours prior to and some of my items were missing from the room I will be filing a formal complaint with the Better Business Bureau Had been staying there four weeks and had one additional week needed before flooring and painting was completed and furniture returned to our home Worse way to do a mother with kids that paying was never an issue because the insurance was paying for the company who destroyed my home with an AC installation Had drive back 50 miles and leave my sons AAU game just to get my 17 year old from the hotel and our belongings from both rooms

Shey Marples

This is my favorite hotel for many reasons The first is the front desk ladies Kuree and Jaynana – they made my very extended stay pleasant by treating me like a good friend and were always attentive The maid service was exceptionally clean and all of them very nice

The sweet woman who makes & serves the breakfast was always so friendly to chat with in the morning The rooms were spacious and the location of the hotel was perfect, by all grocery shopping, restaurants and nearby parks When I return to Kennesaw this is my top choice hotel to stay in – highly recommended!

The only reason this doesn’t get a 5 star is because they don’t have free breakfast So…it’s really 5 stars This hotel is still new

It’s clean The bed & pillows were comfortable The room was nice and roomy I loved the media pods in the lobby I had to come back to the hotel and still work so the media pods were great I will definitely be staying here when I come back into town for work

Ashiel Israel

I am surprised at how beautiful my room was for the price! I had the King suite with the sofa bed The lighting was EXCELLENT They actually had a light above the mirror which many hotels surprisingly don’t have

They even had a magnified cosmetic mirror! Lights above the bed and lamps on each side Lights below the TV and the TV was on a swivel mount which was needed because the bed is facing the window which has an excellent view I was on the very end with only one room adjacent to me I wonder if they heard my amazement lol I was literally walking around the room saying wow They had my foam pillows on the bed as requested Everything was very clean I travel a lot and many hotels have not been living up to their standards lately but this one made me feel good again This will be my designated hotel for Cartersville going forward

Kiko Martinez

I must say that overall the people there have been courteous and welcoming I’ve been coming there since the last week of Jan and it’s currently mid April

They have made me feel welcomed, especially during breakfast Catrina and Scott are the best… every morning they make sure we are well fed with breakfast Not only do they have it setup and warm, each day they change it up to try and accommodate us in order to have the best experience Scott gets with us each morning and asks if we like certain things that way he can get it made for us the next morning Wether is smothered hash browns, country ham, or even his famous blueberry pancakes, he definitely goes above and beyond to to provide great service Overall they definitely make us feel welcomed and can see that they do go the extra mile to provide top tier customer service!

I like the Home2 suites brand by Hilton The rooms are nice, though they could use an in room stovetop or something similar (you can request a hot plate/portable stove from most front desks, I didn’t need one this stay) The free breakfast was on par for what you expect at most similar hotels

The lobby is nice here, relaxing and inviting with a pool table too The room was comfortable and just right for my stay I would stay here again if I’m going through Atlanta

DO NOT stay here Rude front desk staff asked us to wait 2 hours for pillows to be ready Said he would call the room when they were and never did on two consecutive nights

The third time he tried, I waited up until 3 in the morning waiting on pillows before returning to the lobby and being told to wait an additional two hours Upon refusal to return to my room, the rude employee then produced pillows in under 10 minutes He then refused to give me contact information for management When I asked to speak to a manager; she referred me to Hilton Rewards as compensation for the 3 nights of lost sleep before work we had during the course of our stay Overpriced for the quality of service (or lack thereof)

We were visiting family in Cartersville We had reserved a room at a different hotel When we arrived the hotel had given our room away

We had a reservation My wife in handicap and requires a room with a roll in shower They offered a different room with a tub and bench This would not work They left us with no other options We started calling around and we found Hilton Garden Inn The person who answered the phone was so kind and helpful Hilton Garden Inn was able to find us a room that meet our requirement We were told to ask for Anthony Jr when we arrived Anthony knew all about our situation and had everything in motion as we arrived The room was great It had a roll in shower as we requested The hotel was a great place to stay Great service Very clean Breakfast was great They made great Belgian waffles to order My wife commented that this is one of few places that cooked the bacon correctly Bottom line I highly recommend that if are in need of a hotel in Cartersville, GA choose Hilton Garden Inn Cartersville

A huge thank you and blessings for Mrs Joyce, Tyrone, Little lady Abby, & Mr Davidson

My stay was from April 21 – April 24 Even while there system for booking and reservations was down, and they did everything possible to have guests kept happy Some weren’t as understanding, I patiently waited for a few hours upon arrival but gods blessings gifted me to Stay with them here for the weekend so I can relax and focus on my studies, soon to be taking my NREMT exam for certification as an EMT-B I’ve never met such beautiful souls to have treated me and my stay like they had I recommend this stay 110% and as for me, I’ll definitely be driving the distance for another relaxing weekend soon Gods speed!!

The staff was awesome The rooms were very modern and clean The breakfast was diverse with options, probably the best hotel breakfast I’ve had in a while due to the options

The gym was a nice size and very clean Also, the family enjoyed the pool which is not very large but was fine for my family The location is perfect for any families visiting LakePoint sporting events Pretty decent food places close by

It was late and I was tired of the traveling, the lady that helped us was very personable and trust worthy Dining room is perfect and the breakfast was delicious The room was spacious and modern

I was unsuccessful in getting hot water for my bath (3rd floor dilemma?) I did have piping hot water at the bathroom sink The barn door style for the bathroom is perfect however the knob falls off

If I could leave a zero I would! We called this hotel to request a rate and make sure it was available When I asked to make the reservation, the desk clerk transferred me to reservations where I waited on hold for over an hour as the agent continually said he could not find the rate the clerk quoted me Using my husband’s phone, I* called back the clerk at the hotel and she was not willing to make the reservation and insisted on transferring me to reservations (when I told her I was already on hold with them and had been for a long time

) She was terse and completely unfriendly I thanked her and hung up but stayed on hold with the reservation line He never came back to the line and hung up on me within the next 15 minutes Don’t bother wasting your time with this hotel They don’t honor the prices given at the actual hotel and the clerks are unfriendly and unhelpful

Traveling for work and this hotel is always top notch due to the staff I cannot rave enough about two of the KINDEST ladies I’ve met Martha and Denice always bring smiles friendliness and warmth to breakfast…

Truly make you feel a home away from home Room is clean and staff very responsive 1 suggestion is to get some lighter hand weights in the gym Overall one of my favorite business stays!

LaToya Green

Hotel rooms were ok Breakfast time is limited from 6-8am Needs to be extended… Stayed three nights, asked for more towels but I was told my card was not processed, proceed to show clerk were I was charged $410 from my account, then received towels

Furthermore received an email stating 25%off due to internet outage, received a copy of check out bill with only 10% discount, corrected it immediately Overall it was just ok Not impressed with service to much

So when I looked up reviews I found it weird that there was not a single negative comment ore review So I booked my stay at this Hampton Inn and I was FLOORED! I have traveled a lot for business and there are so many things this Hampton has done right The location is AMAZING, there are so many food choices literally right next door

The rooms were very spacious and clean, (probably the cleanest Hampton I have stayed at) The breakfast was great They served hot food and cold food and so much variety If I would have to say a negative, when I checked in they said my room was ready but when I went up the bed was not made because apparently the covers were still in the wash, I waited half an hour for a new room that was ready The staff was super friendly and I definitely recommend!

Our room was comfortable But what made our stay so fantastic was Mrs Edna, who greeted us and served us breakfast

Her warm and friendly personality made us feel like we were staying with family! She went out of her way to see if there was anything we needed and to share with us about her experiences and her family She even baked and served us the best banana nut bread! Mrs Edna is a real gem and an asset to your hotel

ANGIE

I stayed there for 3 nights while on a business trip Not once did I feel unsafe, parking lot is well lit and parking is very convenient My room was clean upon arrival

I didn’t meet the front desk staff as I always just check in on my phone and use my key in my app I did have the pleasure in meeting the lovely breakfast ladies, very sweet I will be back!

The hotel staff was friendly and hotel was clean and had a great location just off I-75 and close to gas and several restaurants The hotel is Pet friendly with a $75 fee and you must sign a pet waiver Very well lit nearby in case you needed to walk your per when dark

Price was not cheap, but reasonable for the quality and amenities and the breakfast was pretty good We would stay again

What a comfortable bed! I love Hampton bedding and sheets, etc Very cozy The window treatments completely cover the window! How safe and secure I feel here! The sun won’t be able to blind me in the morning, and I can sleep in! Many choices in items from the store in the front lobby

I just popped in from a long trip and was immediately given a room here Very gracious and accommodating lady at the front desk tonight! She welcomed me to the hotel and showed me a parking spot! I felt really safe and cared about

Brandon Shufelt

I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels Some higher end and some more basic, so I’m not like a picky person, but I definitely had higher expectations for this location Especially for the charge of $180/night

The rooms were a bit dated Walls were thin, which wasn’t convenient for a noisy night of neighbors drinking and being loud Blinds were damaged TP holder was pulled out of wall Bedding had spots of what looked like blood (hopefully washed at least) Fridge was too small for much of anything and noisy Breakfast was about what you would expect at a homeless shelter I understand it’s location and the event in town added to it’s rate, but wouldn’t put this location at the top of my list of places to stay
