I would leave negative stars if possible I awoke to BED BUGS crawling on my legs at 2 am (BED BUGS are more difficult to get rid of than lice

) I demanded to see the manager who was entirely indifferent to the situation and said there was nothing she could do until 6 am She wouldn’t give me a refund until the next manager was on shift, who she was on the phone with “You’ll just have to wait ‘til then” Complete with sassy side to side head tilts I said I would wait at the front desk until then I made sure to mention BED BUGS in our conversation if anyone was in earshot I’d want to know if the hotel I was in had BED BUGS!!!! She accused me of threatening her job I didn’t I threatened to post the video I took of the bugs and how I was treated She called the police because I stayed at the front desk “staring at her” I’m in a wheelchair What exactly was she afraid of? Exposing the hotel for the infestation in my room??We had to sanitize, buy pesticides, and disinfect EVERY scrap of luggage, clothes, EVERYTHING, all at our own expenseThe night manager was so unpleasant I take immense comfort in the fact that I only had to be in that infested Comfort Inn for a few hours, she has to work there I can only imagine what is breeding in her houseI will never stay at a Comfort Inn or a Choice hotel again! And believe me when I say I will make sure to tell anybody I come across!

My family came up for the weekend to see me, and chose this place as their place of stay Overall our experience was pretty nice EXCEPT the cleanliness My brother jumped on the bed as soon as we entered our room

I went to go sit down beside him, but noticed HAIR on the bed Although it was small not like a strand I’d rather not know where those hairs came from As being myself, I continued to check the bed underneath the comforter and between the sheets I was still finding hair all in it My father went to the desk to say something about it We couldn’t get another room, so they gave us clean sheets for that one bed to put on ourselves Then, I started to check the other bed because I was paranoid What did I see? HAIR, again All sorts and all kinds Later on, my brother took a shower and said hair was in the tub before he used it We changed that one bed and picked the hair off the other My brother rinsed the tub clean of hair before taking a shower Other than that it has been good But I am having a very difficult time trying to go to sleep and paranoid with the bed I am in I have no other pillow or blanket to use of my own It was just disgusting! I cant find myself going to sleep because I am thinking about all the hair i had to clean off the bed

The only good things about this hotel were the comfy beds and the nice chair The plugs on the lamp did not work, so I had to charge my mobile device across the room The television only had 10 channels

The hair dryer did not work well Though the free breakfast was nice, the rates for such bad room conditions was unexplainable I will not be staying at another hotel such as this one again

Great stay! The hotel is clean and the bed is comfortable Pool was closed but I was able to use the gym which is nice! I was there for about 4 nights and I was truly pleased with my stay The staff is great, especially Matt

Truly appreciate all his help, he is patient and so helpful! Thank you so much for making the stay exceptional Matt Would definitely stay here again just due to your incredible service!

Trista Emmons

Super clean and spacious! My husband and I stayed here with our 11 year old as a stopping point after seeing the Greenville Drive before we headed to Atlanta for a baseball tournament It was so quiet when we went to sleep The pullout bed was perfect for him

The bathroom area was large enough for the three of us to maneuver around without bumping into each other The breakfast had plenty of options There was a small putting green, and the sweet lady behind the desk set my son up with putters and golf balls The outdoor pool was refreshing This was a perfect stopping point I wish we were spending the entire week here!

Rachel Wilder

A very beautiful hotel that fit all of our needs comfortably and even had a convenient swivel tv you could use from the bed or couch with Netflix already downloaded Full size refrigerator was awesome and the kitchen was well stocked The bed was also very comfortable and the room was clean

I’m doing 4 star however because 1 The Checkin process wasn’t great We had called ahead to book and the woman said to just come in they had rooms available, and we confirmed it would be a few hours before arrival At some point the shift switched and the info about us coming wasn’t properly communicated Upon arrival the front door was locked because of a prior security concern, which while understandable, it was very cold and the new staff member had us on the phone for entirely too long trying to get info just to let us in the door The system also appeared to have some issues which just added to the rocky late night Checkin However, I will add that the woman was friendly and accomodating, it might’ve just been a bad timing circumstance 2 Checkout was 12 and we intended to sleep as long as we could due to the late arrival, but we were woken around 10 to the sound of repeated (15+) door slams and furniture scuffles from the cleaning staff At first I thought our room was below the gym but found it was staff above us upon investigation I was further confirmed because after I asked a staff member I found if that was what I was hearing, though I did not get a straight answer, suddenly the loud noises stopped Unfortunately I was already wide awake Quality and cleanliness get 5 star, but they could just use a process improvement for Checkin and cleaning imo

We chose The Bleckley Inn as our wedding venue and couldn’t have been happier! Shelby was incredible and walked us through every step of the way It was such a unique venue with modern decor and lots of character Plus we had the entire property to ourselves the whole weekend! The rooms are absolutely breathtaking and the food was incredible! If you’re considering this as your venue or just for a hotel stay, you absolutely should!

I loved staying at the Bleckley Inn! The rooms were beautiful The breakfast each morning was delicious and my server Katie was a gem! She took incredible care of each guest that walked in I had 8 guests join me for dinner one night and the Chef provided each of us with the most delicious meal

Every person raved about their dish! It was nice that the Chef also came by our table to check in on us to make sure everything was ok Our waitress for dinner was amazing too! I can’t remember her name but she had a beautiful accent and made sure we all had what we needed Shelby was accommodating to my needs for the meeting that I held in the conference room, was very friendly and responded quickly to all my questions as I was planning the event I appreciated the kindness of each and every staff member that I encountered They each went above and beyond! If I ever find myself in Anderson, SC again, I’ll be sure to stay at the Bleckley Inn!

This is my first time staying with Fairfield Inn and I loved it Checking in was fast and that front desk was very friendly Made sure I knew what time breakfast was where the gym and pool as well as their little corner store Inside the hotel once getting to the room 1st thing I noticed was it was a great size and was very clean

Loved that I didn’t not have to plug in my roku as they had Netflix already on the tv I travel for work so not being stuck working from my laptop while sitting on the bed and actually having the desk with the wired in internet and plugs close is such a nice feature Hotel is very close to several different dining options It was nice to have dinner and then be able to lounge by the pool for a little while and even swim a few laps before going up to take a shower work a while and then go to bed Hot water was hot and lasted for way longer than I could even stand to be in the shower Typical hotels leave one small bottle of shampoo and conditioner and any person with long hair who’s use those bottles no that’s not enough to wash LONG HAIR Fairfield had not salon grade shampoo but it definitely wasn’t Dollar tree shampoo either and they had medium sized ones in the shower After unpacking I found an extra blanket I’m the closest which I love and is not usually found in other hotels I’ve stayed in I like most people like to keep the room super cold when sleeping Bed was comfy and pillows were in great condition Checking out was a breeze and breakfast was amazing several options from waffles bagels to actual hot breakfast and they also had great coffee will definitely be recommending and staying with Fairfield again

Beautiful, comfortable rooms! The manager, Matt is very nice and does a great job The breakfast is ok and you get a variety of items but it could be improved The rooms have recently been updated and look really nice

This is also a very dog friendly hotel and since we have three dogs it’s one of the few places where we can stay where they don’t have a limit From the cleanliness of the rooms though you cannot tell that they’ve had dogs in them

Lisa Wilson

Okay, so this hotel isn’t rated as a 5 star hotel but for the price, it’s 5 stars in my book From the very friendly and helpful front desk clerks (“Can I get a room away from the elevators? And um, not near the ice machines? And um, with no neighbors? And um, on the top floor so I don’t have to listen to anyone walking over my head”) to the cleanliness of the hotel, room and bath to the very nice sheets and pillows, it was a really great experience Sadly, I slept so soundly (unheard of for me, hence all of the above requests) that I missed the hot breakfast but there’s always a next time

For a moderate priced hotel chain, this is a sweet place to lay your head

Angel Helms

The stay here was really nice The staff was nice and helpful The others that was with us need to change the room due to needing more space for an extra family member that came for a funeral and they gave a nice (high) blow up mattress as well as a bigger room

It was very clean, room had fridge, microwave, iron and blow-dryer The breakfast was pretty good as well and check=out was 12 which was really nice There is anything you could need very close qa well

Everything was fantastic Clean, spacious, and well-staffed (from what I can tell) A literal dream come true for any Clemson fan (which I am not)

Everything has some relevance to Clemson from the color schemes, decor, and wall covering But there’s certainly plenty of “amazing” left here for fans of any other 🐅 🐯 😉 We were excited that they had luggage carts, because we definitely had to use one Walking/driving distance to everything you need

Comfortable bed Spacious rooms The king had a small fridge with small freezer

A sink, extra eating table Also had a pull out bedVery friendly staffGreat location, short walk to stadium and campusOnly negatives were: walls fairly thin You can hear people above you and in the hall ways Also the curtains could be darker They don’t fully close, so light does get in

We loved our recent 3-night stay here – the inn is a beautiful building which will absolutely take you back to the old South Rooms are large and very nicely decorated Be aware that because of its age, our room didn’t have a closet but there are wall-mounted clothes racks and ample bureau space so it wasn’t an issue for us

Delicious breakfast served by very welcoming hosts We would definitely stay here again

Gabby Leone

This little bed and breakfast is absolutely amazing Made an impromptu stop due to car troubles and the staff here welcomed me with open arms and treated me like family Everyone was extremely kind and accommodating

The rooms were clean and comfortable and the fresh breakfast outstanding! Plan your next trip here to experience true hospitality at its finest and I promise you won’t be disappointed! I know I’ll be back next time through the area

Jack Hazel

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at the Liberty Hall!! My wife came here annually for over 10 years back in the early 90’s so it was a very reminiscent stay The house has been completely remodeled recently and they have done an excellent job of retaining it’s original qualities while restoring its historical attributes (beautiful wood floors, wrap around porches, etc) It is absolutely exquisite!!! The recent new owners Susan and her husband provided us with a lovely tasty southern style breakfast and were extremely hospitable

It is a short walk into the charming Pendleton town square where there are several shops and places to eat Come and enjoy a glass of wine on the many porches and relax in this truly beautiful place!!!

I’m not able to give more than 3 stars for any hotel without a laundry service There’s one coin-op pair here, so on my generally cashless 3 week trip I had to travel to an ATM, pay $3 for $20 paper, then go to reception to buy $10 of metal (quarters?) Then slot 8 said tokens in per wash and dry (24 total) The rest got thrown away, and the paper cash added to a random restaurant tip

I’d happily of handed the $20 over to just get it doneOtherwise, decent rooms, staff and breakfast

I would do 45 starts if I could In town to see family

We had a pleasurable stay here Free breakfast was on point It was hot, fresh, lots of delicious selections, and it didn’t disappear minutes before it was supposed to The lovely lady working the area was kind enough to ask if we wanted anything else before she closed each day Coffee was smoking hot and delicious, even with flavored creamer too! Maid service knocked to ask if we needed anything We didn’t opt for daily room makeup We had been to this property back when it was first opened You can tell things have gotten older and not much money has been put into it, and the carpet in rooms need to go! Your first name is on a welcome board at the entry, which is a nice touch

Upon further consideration I’m increasing review room were clean, breakfast was breakfastnot some busted bag of granola (being blamed on a pandemic

)& the drive to and from work was not bad at all even offered me a couple places to pull off the road to catch fish Can’t imagine being a better stay than I had Was trying to figure out why my company got me a room that was 20 minutes away from job site literally no other motels on that end of town must be due to zoning Mostly schools and fast food

Other Desiree

First off let me give a huge thank you and shout out to the night man Joey He got my info when I called to reserve the room an hour out and he was so quick and kind during our call He took such good care of us when we arrived too!! Making sure we knew the Itinerary for breakfast and when our receipt would be dropped off under our door

And of course helping is find the elevatorI was thoroughly impressed with the photos online, reviews and price that included all kinds of amenities but was still having PTSD from our room at a motel 8 on the way downThankfully I was not cat fished this time Its all real! The pool, the fitness room, conference room, 6am breakfast spread, which was pretty good Lots of options hot and cold Nice dining room too if you don’t want to go eat in your room like we didNow the room We got the 2nd to last room available, it was even a King Suite with a jetted tub! The room had been redone and its beautiful with very soothing colors and so much good lighting you can set your relaxing mood perfectly or light the place up like the sun The room was sooooo clean, nicely decorated and useful All the listed appliances and electronics, and extras were present Nice sized working TV Cold mini fridge with separated freezer topThe bathroom was lovely Plenty of towels and the toiletries were from Dove Now the tub is def not for adults to soak in and fit all the way in it without putting your knees up or legs up Kind of weak jets but so much hot water and it was actually clean No gross floaties once started and ran That being said, I would book this room again and use the tub once moreFinally THE BED!! Oh it was soo freaking comfortable and the pillows were like the perfect clouds Light comforter and a sheet which was perfect Non squeaks eitherJust want to thank the whole staff for making the whole experience enjoyable We already plan on returning and have become rewards members Great perks too by the way

Pros:The hotel is in a good location, close to pretty much anything you want or needThe front desk staff, while slow, are very friendly and helpfulThe room was clean and the bed was comfortable

Cons:Almost none of the electrical outlets provided in the room actually worked They felt “wallowed out”, as if they had been used for years and years and simply wore out Plug something in and the plug wobbles and doesn’t create a connectionSome of the areas need remodeling as there are chips, cracks, peeling wallpaper, etcThe hotel seems to have become popular among construction workers, which has brought a huge increase in noise and filth tracked all over the floors

Room was clean, a bit on the small side for the price But that is the only reason it gets the second star, everything else was unacceptable- Took 20 minutes for the bathtub to drain, toilet was extremely weak, so it took 3 flushes every single time just to get back clear water

– No microwave as advertised- Front desk was extremely unhelpful I waited for 10 minutes just to check in, as he had a sign stating he would be right back He then hurried through the check in process (including asking me things a hotel has never asked me, like my full address) He asked for my card, and I informed him I had already paid online He said it was for incidentals, but didn’t disclose how much was being put on hold Never gave me any info about the place No wifi info, no checkout time info, no info on breakfast, nothing He didn’t even explain where my room was, and the best way to get to it, and even 2 star hotels do that- The side door doesn’t work, so I had to park right by the side door (that says you can enter as long as you have your room key), but it wasn’t in service, so we had to carry everything all the way to the front and try and find the elevators that he didn’t bother explaining the location of- The outlets that are on the lamp did not work, had to charge my phone in the bathroom, since that was the closest outlet that workedI would have been better off at plenty of other places in Anderson, for a fraction of the cost I decided to splurge for a more pricey hotel in the area, and was let down bad Will never stay here again, luckily there are plenty of other options in Anderson that are cheaper

Danse Macabre

Was a nice hotel very close the plantation wedding houseTons of restaurants & actually a few places to get a drink in the evening if interested Prime location, clean, comfortable bed, pillows, water was hot and probably one of the best complimentary breakfasts ever

It consisted of Gravy & biscuits, eggs, sausage, 🥓 bacon and dang good grits ( infact delicious)Prices for room were very reasonable just don’t go through a agency, call them directly because the agency does a sneaky charge! Yes, would stay there again definitely!

We simply walked in needing a room, not realizing it was graduation week and rooms were scarce Fantastic staff found us a room; everyone was both professional and gracious in the best possible ways The whole place was spotless and our room had a walk in shower that I’d love to have in my own home

We’re glad to reccomment this Hampton Inn

We stayed here for a week and it was very nice The hotel staff was great and the rooms were nice Here is a break down of the pros and cons:Pros: staff was great, gym was really good for a hotel, rooms were nice and stayed dark if you wanted to sleep during the day

Cons: no jacuzzi and pool was closed, continental breakfast was not very good was powdered eggs and sausage or oatmeal but they did have breakfast boxes with either bagel or muffin and yogurt No coffee available all day in the lobby only until 1030Overall it was a nice stay Not the best Hampton that I’ve stayed at and not the worst Would definitely come back

This was a nice hotel in a quiet location We are a family of four and the room fit us well The small kids were able to sleep on the pull out

You can use the cushion to block the ac, because it blows exactly where the pull out is The bathrooms were nice and clean We weren’t given enough towels but that was an easy fix Only issue was the extra linen in our room wasn’t clean There were stains and hair on the extra linen provided We went downstairs for more linen but they didn’t have any additional blankets Overall we had a good stay and I would recommend staying here for families looking for a good night’s rest

We arrived on April 8, 2022 around 11:30pm to check in to our room When we got to the front desk, we were told that our room had no A/C The unit was broken and would not be repaired during our stay

They would knock off $40 for our troubles The hotel was full and there were no more rooms available They said we could find somewhere else to stay without a cancellation penalty Note- our reservation was confirmed on Jan 21, 2022- 10 weeks prior to our arrival!! We were never contacted by the hotel regarding no A/C It was 1130pm on a Fri night in a college town on a spring game weekend Thank God we found a room for the same price at the Hampton Inn 3 miles away that had A/C and wonderful accommodations BEWARE!! YOU WILL NOT KNOW IF THE ROOM IS IN WORKING ORDER until you show up Proceed with CAUTION with this hotel We would have been homeless if it was a regular season football game rather than a spring game

Excellent customer service and very clean common areas/room Great location for touring Clemson as well We arrived after midnight and were welcomed by a very nice gentleman

Prior to that, I called to let the hotel know of our late arrival, the staff member was very accommodating, and she notated our late arrival in the system Last but certainly not least, Vee was very sweet, accommodating and personable! We enjoyed chatting with her, and appreciated her assistance with our check out

Staff was friendly, great view, great proximity and amenities appeared to be nice… however, several issues:1 “Shared” suite (door in between rooms) was not sound or light proof – could hear entire conversations held from arrival time until the other party decided to sleep2

Bathroom only had a pocket door that would not stay shut3 Bathroom had red algae growing from not being properly cleaned4 Bathroom exhaust fan had dust/fiber-type buildup5 Does not offer breakfast, which is not stated at booking; they do serve brunch, though probably great for a late sleeper NOT good for persons with childrenProximity is definitely not worth the price! More money was placed into the location than into the constructionIf you want to play a round of golf and then come back to relax outside with an adult beverage (brought by patron) and a cigar – not an option (except for in your vehicle)

While my wife and I were excited to stay here based on reviews we were thoroughly disappointed We were traveling from out of town to attend a wedding and looked forward to the stay Upon checking in, mind you the process was simple and front desk staff was nice, we were flabbergasted by what we found in our room

MOLD From the moment we walked in to our room we noticed a funky smell and odd dampness to the room Upon a little more investigation we noticed our lampshade covered in MOLD spores Absolutely disgusting How in the world is this not noticed or cleaned? We also noticed that things in the room, like the bed, felt slightly damp as well We immediately debated our options and elected to go back to the front desk and ask for another room At that point the nice attendant at the front went to the managers office and came back out to notify us that was the only room available Fine, understand that I cannot change the vacancy of a hotel What really annoyed us though was that after letting staff know that there was MOLD the manager didn’t even come out to speak to us and sent her staff to handle it Quite frankly I’m disappointed in the customer service of the management staff as well as disgusted by a room with MOLD in it that wasn’t cleaned and was approved for occupancy Imagine what you could be breathing in staying in this place Room number 3101B Do better management staffGo stay at the Abernathy around the corner Slightly more expensive but an absolutely awesome and clean space in a better more beautiful location*also check my other reviews on google, you’ll notice I don’t leave negative reviews on really anything That should indicate how awful this experience was*

Poor service all the way around The lackadaisical attitude was horrible If they get busy, they just shut down and tell you they are too busy to provide service to you

Room was clean, porches had spider webs everywhere that we could not enjoy the beautiful weather Beautiful place, BUT THINK TWICE! You have to walk from your room to the bar just to get ice Overlooked it the first time we stayed, but just don’t think we’d can do that againThe concept is great, but service in all areas of the Condo Tel are beyond poor I can’t even image if we’re Graduation or a Game week
