We had a great time The kids loved the water park We all loved the bowling

My granddaughter enjoyed all the dance parties They also did the ropes course and the rock Climbing It’s very expensive though If you don’t mind spending the money you’ll definitely have a good The room was nice but the a/c was very loud The breakfast buffet was very good and reasonable

Bella Linda

So much fun here!!! I highly recommend this resort Family friendly!!! I’ve gone to family resorts and the people working aren’t family friendly This resort definitely provided great customer service

The water park is so much fun! Our day passed by so fastI saw some reviews and I was slightly nervous, but I have to say this place was wonderful!

Jordan P.

We went up to the hotel for a midweek getaway and everything worked out nicely We were easily able to check in Our room was ready to go and clean

A couple knocks I have with the rooms are that there are no freezers in the fridges and the window shades get pretty bright when that summer sunrise rolls in early Breakfast is not included but if you fit the bill, it’s a nice buffet to start the day The water park was a lot of fun with very good lifeguards Because it was the middle of the week, it didn’t seem too packed in regards to people Everything in the pool seemed clean Overall, it was a fun stay and I would recommend it to others!

Thoroughly enjoyed my 3 week stay here The front desk and restaurant/bar staff were very friendly and always helpful Small menu but very good; enjoyed everything except the meatballs

Room was extremely clean and very well laid out And a plus, it’s right next to the Hazelwood restaurant This hotel will for sure be my go to spot, every time in I’m the SMinnie/Bloomington area

April Johnson

Tracy was one of the front desk employees and she was excellent My husband and I were here for the weekend, we asked for a restaurant recommendation and Tracy kept looking until she found us a place that did not disappoint We truly appreciated her going the extra mile for us

The room was clean and modern, the housekeeping staff was friendly and responsive to direct requests This rating would have been a 5, but surface parking was very limited

Andrew Boyce

As a weekly business traveler, I’m pickyThis hotel was excellent for the price I paid I had a nice one bedroom suite on the 5th floor

524 Good location!I will say that the airplanes are a little loud I stay in airport hotels all the time The windows aren’t soundproofed here like a lot of other airport hotels

Starting with the positives, check in was easy, staff was helpful, pool was nice and room was large Now for the areas of improvement We arrived and the TV did not work

We called the desk and they came and fixed it The room smelled like smoke The shower had a slow drain and took about 10 min to drain after a shower The pull out bed was worthless as springs were easily felt through the mattress Every time the AC kicked in, the unit was so loud in the bedroom that it was difficult to sleep The breakfast in the morning left a lot to be desired Ham and potatoes No eggs or pancakes Milk dispenser didn’t work Juice was out of order Just disappointing If you are doing a quick stay it is OK, if I had to do it over I would make a different choice

Ashlyn Bentley

This was the best hotel I’ve stayed at for the price you pay My room was basically an apartment, with a kitchenette including stovetop, dishwasher, microwave & fridge with ice maker with its own bedroom The bathroom was a good size

They even included dove soaps instead of cheap like usual hotels The pool area was good & the pool was nicely warmed Breakfast had great options compared to other hotels I was very impressed When I got to my room, the front desk even sent a text to ask how the room was & if there was anything we needed

Kalyn J

We stayed here last night! The room was nice and spacious – we had a One Bedroom King Bed Suite Very affordable and friendly staff The pool and hot tub are open for use until 12am which is also great

Breakfast buffet in the morning as well! One cool thing about this room – I’m not sure about other rooms as well – is that the conditioner and shampoo are in actual pump bottles attached to the wall So instead of just having the mini bottles, you could use as much as needed! Will be coming back in the future !

Very nice luxurious feeling hotel The rooms are spacious and the bathrooms have cool lights and a nice shower AC is great! Nice view of the runway too

It was great to not have to leave the airport and go outside to access the hotel Unfortunately the TSA check point was closed to get back to the terminal so we had to take the shuttle, but it was quick and easy and in a very nice luxury van

Corey Trusty

The hotel was absolutely great in taking care of us… we got in almost 3hrs later then we were supposed too… like 2:30am… and they absolutely took care of us… from the shuttle service, to our check in… the room was clean, very spacious and very quiet even to the outside noise being by the airport The attention to detail with the little things was really good such as the lighting in the bathroom, huge shower, massive counter space, the different colored towels and the soundproof windows The few things that were missing in my very humble opinion were more places to hang towels (there was only one peg to do that); places to hang your rag in the shower

There was no place to do that at all Other than that it was a really good experience, especially with the folks who worked the graveyard shift… thank you…

Michael

I love this airport hotel I have stayed here 3 times and I have even stayed in the suite It is always clean and easy to get to from the airport via the sky bridge walkway

It has great views of the airport and you can see St Paul and downtown Minneapolis from some of the roomsMy one complaint is that during the summer the lobby can be much to warm and humid The room does take a bit to cool off also

Had a great stay; staff was excellent, friendly and helpful Rooms were very nice and clean It’s great being able to get Starbucks at pretty much any time

The main hotel areas were very nice and well kept If I had anything to complain about at all it would be that I didn’t care for the pillows they use in the rooms, they weren’t comfortable for me

Glass Smith

Stay away, rude and mean staff!Hotel was a little “tired” as far as the facility but the real problem came with the hotel staff, it all started at check-in The guy checking me in was very short and a little snooty to say the least, not really anything specific just a little rude, not warm and welcoming at all The next issue came with the hotel bar where the bartender was very, very rude when my wife and I were ordering drinks

Lastly one morning when I was working in the lobby I was using a conference room to do some computer work done I went into this room because it was noisy in the lobby and I had some calls to make The door was unlocked and open all the way The sign on the door said conference and has no mention of being reserved or off-limits I left my laptop in this room to step out to the restroom When I returned the door was closed and locked with my computer inside I went to the desk to ask them to unlock the room and the woman immediacy began scolding me for using the room without permission I told her there was no sign on the door and it was wide open She continued to treat me like a child that had knowingly broken a rule Another lady at the front desk then got involved and walked me to the room At this point as she was unlocking the door she too began talking down to me like I was knowingly breaking some rule I explained to her if the room was reserved if off-limits they should have a sign or simply lock the door! She then said there is a sign, but she couldn’t show me on because there wasn’t one! Then she basically accused me of trying to steal my own computer! Stay away! Terrible hotel with terrible staff!!!

Kellie

Great hotel got us in on short notice as our other hotel cancelled our reservationWe got a lm affordable room for one nightShuttle was very nice service

I would advise keeping an eye on the kids in the pool/spa/fitness areas as they were not always supervisedNot necessarily a hotel problem though

Haven’t been here almost 3 years and boy has it changed As a Corporate hotel, you can see how COVID has affected the amenities and service of this establishment Cody and Mike were great! But with reduced staffing, restaurant limited hours of service (no breakfast which was a huge plus, no lunch and no room cleaning -unless you ask-) has significantly diminished the allure of this place

As this is a Corporate option, I MIGHT return but it’s doubtfulIf you are considering going, check ti see what services are available before you book Don’t rely on websites!

Joseph Hill

Staff is accommodating and facility is clean They have a operating pool and hot tub Morgan’s restaurant and bar is connected to the hotel has a great vibe and waiting staff

The pictures on the google map listing along with the gym do need to be updated badly

Tony Frei

Not sure why this has a 4+ star review The front staff are horribly rude and don’t trust each other to check you in properly The pool is set so cold that kids will freeze

They set it for Olympic pool temperatures where people are exercising (like 80 degrees) and then they have no sympathy when your kids are turning blue There’s no continental breakfast Overall, definitely NOT a premiere hotel Most regular best westerns are FAR better than this dump

Love the size and layout of the room So many lights and outlets for devices First time I’ve been in a hotel with a dishwasher, and dishes!Full fridge, microwave and lots of open spaces! Really appreciate the curtain that can be pulled to separate the “living room” and the beds! Love, love, love the desk with a roll out dining table, great use of space and function! I’m going to have to find more locations of this hotel for future stays, really like it a lot!

Do not stay at this hotel! Disappointing overnight stay two weeks ago Stayed at this hotel one time in 2021 and loved it, but things have changed and we do not plan to returnOur room was disappointing

It was very apparent that surfaces of doors and some walls had not been wiped down in a long time The pocket doors for the bathroom were very heavy and difficult to slide and close completelyOur biggest issue was the noise level on our floor Several rooms were occupied with large families with multiple young children Even though the rooms were a distance away from us, we could hear kids screaming and talking very loudly despite their room door and our room door being shut And these children were repeatedly allowed to slam room doors and run screaming up and down the long hallway This running went on for 10-15 minutes periodically We called the front desk to complain multiple times but the disruption continued When we left our room for dinner we noted a long line of stepped-on Cheetos all down the hallway When we returned to our room much later that night, the mess was still there Apparently no staff were walking the floors and tidying up as needed It gave the hotel a “trashy” feelOur second issue was the fact staff allowed guests to walk around the lobby area barefoot or in stocking feet We noticed this during the breakfast buffet And some of the attire of both adults and children was questionableWe did not feel satisfied at all with our stay We have stayed in multiple Home2Suites as we travel cross-country and have never had such a disappointing stay We will continue to book rooms with this hotel brand but will never return to this one!

Emily Guerber

Pros:1 Nice sized rooms2 Good blackout curtains3

Pretty good continental breakfastCons1 Room wasn’t clean (hair in the shower, something splattered all over the curtains, air vents blowing out dust)2 Lots of dogs staying there It is a pet friendly hotel, but every time we left our room we encountered 2+ dogs with varying level of behavior, some that were obviously not very well leash trained3 You park in the Cedar Grove ramp, and there’s only one entrance to the that is anywhere close to the parkingFor the price probably won’t stay here again

Stayed at hotel for honeymoon and it was perfect Amazing food delivered to the room from the restaurant, all staff were friendly and accommodating Everything was clean and loved the suite, the tub is large enough even my 6’5” hubby was able to comfortably relax and bathe

The common area was luxurious so it was nice to have a quiet meal in the room one night and play cards with a local friend Definitely want to go back! The rooftop bar was amazing as well!!

Emilie Christensen

I have stayed at Omni Viking Lakes a few times, and there are a some things that keep me coming back The hotel is beautiful! The Nordic Viking theme is just perfect, with subtle and tasteful nods to the Purple&Gold Vikings who’s training facility is just next door This hotel is high end while still being inviting and comfortable

Side note: If you are a MN Vikings fan, you just might end up having a drink and some great conversation with a player or coach ;)The rooms and spaces are exceptionally clean and well appointed The staff- from the front desk to the restaurant, and bar staff- have all been so kind, professional, and welcomingTheir loyalty program is so thoughtful! Sometimes a glass of champagne at check in, complimentary wine/beer at the lounges or restaurants, or complimentary coffee from the in-house Caribou Coffee branded shop are always so appreciated I recently also booked services at the spa and it was truly a luxury experienceSo, with all of the hotels to choose from in the area, I’ll continue to come to Omni

Cassandra Krzebietke

This place is excellent My fiancé and I booked a regular room and were able to upgrade to a suite for half the price We had a huge bathtub and shower room

Very clean room, comfy bedThe food down at the restaurant is good too Only complaint I have is the fries were not all that great But my Korean Fried Chicken sandwich and his steak was so yummy! We had breakfast down at the little coffee shop (wasn’t great for the price…)We also got couples massages at the spa and were treated like royalty when we went in there You can use the spa all day if you book a serviceOverall, it was a nice and enjoyable experience We were sad to leave!

I cannot say enough good things about this place I have no complaints The staff does an AMAZING job! The housekeeping staff takes the cake here

Soooo kind, professional, and thorough Breakfast options were plenty! Beds were comfy, pool area was clean and very well maintained I would recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for 5 star treatment with a balling on a budget lifestyle

Friedericke Wowerat (FredW414)

My room was clean and we had a decent night’s sleep I walked into the Hotel and the desk person was sitting in a chair I didn’t know that he was the desk person

While I checked in a woman asked for towels for the pool area and since the person was checking me in, he didn’t tend to her needs immediately She actually waited for awhile When I checked in he proceeded to put a $150 hold on my card for incidentals, because I prepaid through a third party I personally didn’t care for this because I checked in at approximately 5:15pm and checked out at 6am the next morning Still waiting for the charge to go back on my card SmhI never experienced this at other Country Inn and Suite locations even when I purchase through a third partyAs I was checking out at 6am there were family members in the lobby? It actually made me feel somewhat uncomfortable I probably won’t stay at this location again because I didn’t feel fully comfortable

Arnold Heney

No television remote in the room the first night but the front desk staff handled it quickly the next morning My wife asked for more coffee cups the second night but they were never delivered Club access was available however the espresso machine did not operate, and the meals were available thru a voucher downstairs in the market

Pool was small but nice we were hoping for a hot tub to relax in after spending the day at Mall of America We were happy with the proximity to the mall

Michael Moses

Nice digs for an airport stopover Right on the train line so don’t even worry about taking a shuttle, and technically you could just take the train into the city and not need a car at allSeems fairly new

A bit noisy in the hallways from guest room doors opening and closingCould use a bigger lobbyRooms felt modern and typical of a Hyatt Regency

I travel a fair amount for work I was pleasantly surprised with this hotel The staff (although I used the app to check in and out) were very friendly and helpful

The rooms were very clean The lobby was very large and had several tables available for small groups The wasn’t complimentary coffee/breakfast, but I was able to purchase a cup at the bar I will stay again when I return to the area

Ziyi Wang

The check-in time stated in the confirmation email was 3pm When we arrived around 4:50, the front desk staff Andrea told us that we can’t be checked-in yet because our room wasn’t ready yet We told her that we were supposed to check in at 3pm, and it had passed two hours than that

Andrea used the excuse that there were too many rooms for them to clean and they didn’t clean all the rooms at the time yet We made clear that we don’t accept that as an excuse And then Andrea said “YOU GUYS GOT LUCKY, I found one,” and then checked us in During the entire interaction with Andrea, she was very condescending and rude to us We didn’t feel welcoming when we arrived the hotel We highly suspect that she was being racist to us because we are people of color and wore a mask at the time we checked in After we entered the room, we found the toilet didn’t work properly and it makes very loud noise when it refills with water The room was located at the 1st floor Sound insulation was near zero!! We clearly heard people talking in the hotel lobby at midnight We are extremely disappointed by this stay with Sheraton

Keely Ward

I have to say I’ve had nothing but an amazing experience every-time I stay here Specifically tonight, I had an amazing dinner with Todd being extremely attentive behind the bar, per usual Then, there was a situation on the 3rd floor and I was provided a drink and soup by the GM, Tiffany, while I waited for it to clear

I could not be happier with my serviceI typically stay downtown but this place is way better!! Stay here everytime for quality and amazing customer serviceThank you for having amazing staff and an amazing hotel!

Great stay, super clean The restaurant was amazing Also, we hosted a breakfast party in one of the ballrooms and our server, Elsa, was beyond phenomenal

She went to every length to make sure our wants were satisfied, even thinking of things we didn’t ask for to make our party run smooth Wish I could find people like her for all our events! If you host an event, definitely ask for her to be your room server! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We had a fantastic stay over the weekend We were there in celebration of our daughters fifth birthday and the staff made it so special for her at every turn They even delivered a birthday amenity which included a JW teddy bear with a card signed by all the hotel staff for her

How thoughtful! Ben at the front desk at Terry at the bar were awesome along with many other staff we interacted with but didn’t catch their names Seriously one of the best hotels we’ve stayed at recently Thanks so much and we will be back soon!

Hannah Turley

The staff is friendly and attentive We ate breakfast at Cedar and Stone nearly every morning of our 5-night stay and were impressed with the quality and portions My husband is Marriott platinum elite and we were upgraded to a suite, which was a nice surprise

We enjoyed being able to relax in the living room area of our room Most importantly to me is that even though the hotel got pretty full during our mid-July stay, I never heard a peep from another room next to or above us I appreciated the ability to peacefully rest on my vacation without hearing noise from other rooms We will be back!

I really wanted to leave a 5 star review, but couldn’t The rooms are spacious and modern The breakfast is good

I can’t give it 5 stars because of the atrium noise Guests are to follow the quiet rules beginning at 9:00 There was a wedding reception that was still going strong at 11:00 The reception was in a ballroom/meeting room, but some of the the reception guests used the atrium They were loud Very loud If paying guests are to follow the quiet hours, then should reception guests

The bathrooms are small, mildew on the ceiling in the shower Needs an update and added ventilation to it The deck door froze over and once it warmed up it melted to the bottom

No drainage holes The living area is nice and roomy Had a room with two queen beds Did not use the pool, no sitting area (table/chairs) The attached restaurant has really good food, will definitely return for that

Had an incredible experience at the Embassy during a recent post-Covid work trip The hotel made hospitality feel like the good old days Front desk was very swift and attentive

However, the bar was set in the restaurant this trip Shannon the manager had a stacked house and her staff ran the place like pros Shannon cultivated a connection with many guests, despite how busy they were Azure, a new waitress, was equally exceptional Service was fast and my entire Corporate team will now know this is the place to stay on our next visit Highly recommended

This is an excellent hotel locate in one of the most affluent suburbs of Minneapolis The hotel is conveniently located only 15-30 minutes from the airport (depending on traffic), and within walking distance from two malls, one of them being, I think, the first mall in AmericaThe lobby is a bit impersonal but the staff is very friendly and professional

The check-in process was fast and simple, and the information about the hotel was genuine and easy to understand, not the “commercial subtitle style info”The hotel features a restaurant, a great bar, a gym, and a pool And, of course also conference facilitiesI was upgraded and had a fantastic room with views in two directions The room was very clean, and there were helpful amenities I was surprised, however, that the hotel doesn’t have complimentary slippers That is odd for a hotel of this standardThe breakfast is very good, and if you are in a hurry you can get a coffee and a snack from the bar in the morning Also, there is a Starbucks right next door and it opens at 6:30 so you have plenty of optionsWe didn’t have dinner at the hotel so we can’t rate the restaurant, but others said it was quite good However, if you prefer to eat at another restaurant you can just walk across the street to the mall, which features (at least) two very nice restaurantsIf we come back to MSP this will definitely be one of the options

Great location! Located in one of the most opulent suburbs in the Twin Cities!Attentive staff…very friendly and accommodating!Atmosphere is very inviting and the rooms were attractively clean!Great location as well as this property is across the street from both the Southdale Center and the Galleria malls Perfect for eating and shopping!

The front desk person by the name of Julius could be the rudest person in hospitality that I have ever met He told me to stay on the club level and explained all the amenities but forgot to mention the club level didn’t have the amenities available on the weekend ( not even coffee) So I asked him later in my stay why he “left out” that important fact and he was unapologetic and rude and called me horrible names even though I was asking a reasonable question

I would be very careful of this man who, in my opinion, has a couple of screws loose to become un hinged the way he did Westin should be ashamed of this employee and hopefully will not expose future guests to him

Went down for a wedding and spent 2 nights here in 2 different rooms First room was a suite, working fridge, microwave, dishwasher and fireplace with different colors in it Very spacious room, separate bedroom with a poolside view

I slept on the pull out bed which I found to be comfortable Separate air conditioning for the livingroom space and bedroom which was very nice Second night, was a regular room Also very comfortable but I did find some food residue left under the desk there from a past guest Pillows and bed was very comfortable and the refrigerator, coffeemaker, and TV were all in working order Desk staff was very pleasant to work with and greeted us every time we walked in or out the front doors I’ve added pictures of the pool/jacuzzi area

This hotel was okay, but not for the price The “water park” is a joke There aren’t very many pictures of it on the website for a reason

There’s a little splasher area and one water slide The pool doesn’t go deeper than 3ish feet, and it is NEVER on unless you walk all the way out to the front desk and wait for someone to come along so you can request it be turned on There is only one elevator in the building and it’s right by the pool, so it stinks like corn chips and dirty, wet feetOur room had candy on the floor when we got there The toddler found one right away, and then we found a few more plus a lot of crumbs in the carpet We left a couple bags of ice in the tub to melt overnight and they left rings in the grime inside the tub One of the TVs in our room didn’t have a working remote We filled out the requests for our stay ahead of time, but we didn’t get any extra pillows or towels When the room is reserved for more than 2 people, why aren’t there more than two towels? The staff was nice They did have a little area where you could buy snacks or microwavable things We were able to go to the front desk every single time to ask for coupons when we wanted to eat in the restaurant, which made the kids’ food free

Paid for all the extra amenities, but did not receive them since it was a Sunday I searched for a hotel that was pet friendly, had a restaurant/bar, and a nice pool area The Embassy got extra points due to the free happy hour at night

This checked all boxes until we paid and got there Upon arrival, we found out the restaurant and bar was closed as was the happy hour due to it being Sunday The pool was freezing and the hot tub that used to be there was poured over with concrete It was a 75 dollar fee for my dog to nap in her crate Paid for parking as well even though there is nothing even remotely close to the hotel I was not the only one confused as there was a line of people at the desk looking for promised free drinks and snacks Some had even been given tickets (meaning the staff didn’t even know it wasn’t happening) The common areas are redone and look really nice, but the rooms are oldwalls cracked, bathrooms gross, heat/air doesn’t work too well The newer Embassy Suites are well worth itthis was so so I will be asking questions when I book from now on such as, what are your restaurant hours? Do you have a hot tub?The staff was all great and kind It’s not their fault And I’m not even that mad, I just think it should be communicated better and priced more appropriately

No fitted sheets on the bed, only two top sheets Bathroom has ants crawling on the floor The drain in the shower doesn’t work and I was standing in ankle deep water after a 5 minute shower

The breakfast area was not well cleaned up between people coming and going There were traveling softball teams and the noise level was high until 11pm, which is not ideal when traveling with small kids even with a sound machine running to try and cancel out the noise The pool area lacks seating for parents who want to sit and watch their small kids swim For the size of the hotel, I hoped the pool area would have been larger We arrived at 3:51pm with several others checking in ahead of us We were told we had to wait 20 minutes for our room unless we wanted one king bed with a pull out The furniture feels grimey and has stains The breakfast was not great Bacon, sausage and potatoes were covered in grease Eggs were not fully cooked and tasted terrible The coffee was somewhat okay but there was a lack of creamer options Overall, not impressed I’ve stayed at nicer Embassy Suites which is one reason we chose to book again I’ll be hesitant in choosing Embassy the next time I’m looking for a hotel

This is an Embassy Suites straight from the 70s The room was absolutely filthy The furniture was grimy and disgusting

My knuckles are sore because I didn’t want to touch anything Half of the lights in the room either didn’t work or had no light bulbs There were some black bead-like things in the bathroom that may have been droppings from some sort of a critter I was told by the front desk that they would not come take out the trash in our room because we were staying only 2 nights, so bags of garbage were accumulating outside the rooms The only place we felt somewhat comfortable was in the atrium, sticky floor and all However, there were at least 5 buckets that were catching water from leaks My son slipped and fell on his back because one of the buckets was so full of water that the floor around it was all wet– a serious hazard and liability issue I could go on and on, but the final thing I will say, is to make sure you are fully clothed in your room the morning you check out because housekeeping will come in a couple of hours before checkout time without knocking This place doesn’t even deserve 1 star Save your money and go to a Motel 6 where the parking is free

The elevator is very slow, the stairs were faster to take Stayed in a room with two beds and a pull out The pull out was very close to the side of one of the beds

When of the kids fell off the bed and hit the metal on the end of the pull out A piece of already chewed gum was found on the bottom of the comforterBreakfast was a nice lay out lots of choicesWorst part of stay, an expensive item was left behind in the room The location services showed it at the hotel After informing the hotel they hadn’t cleaned the room and were going to check Then the room was cleaned but nothing was found Later on the location services were disconnected on the device The item would have been very easily visible and not easily mixed in They stated it could have ended up in laundry, or trash They would check but were so far behind it would take a couple days After a week they stated they weren’t there Stated that the item was lost but not there or it may have possibly ended up in the trashI don’t accuse the housekeeper, or anyone It could have ended up in laundry, it could have been turned in and removed, it could be in the trash Now it’s a he say , she say with no way to prove anything so I have to take a loss and hope it doesn’t happen to other guest DOUBLE CHECK, triple check

Went to check in at 5:30pm and was told the room wasn’t ready because it was getting a deep clean Came back at 6:30 Room smelled like vomit, the carpet was wet, there was a giant hair ball in the bed and the sink was backed up

Jake, the manager, couldn’t put me in another room, help me find another hotel or apologize for trying to rent out a disgusting roomClearly whatever they were trying to clean up with their afternoon deep clean wasn’t successfulI get that a hotel can’t control what people do to the room, but they can choose not to rent the room and help the minimize the inconvenience to the next guest
