I have to travel for work often and this is the nicest hotel in the area, in my opinion The staff is always very friendly and accommodating, and the bartenders are always super friendly and nice The food isn’t bad for having a grill at a hotel! The only thing I would say is having a continental hot breakfast would be nice

I’ve been to cheaper hotels that have better breakfasts for free Other than that, will stay again!

Melissa Cox

My room was everything I expected It was very clean The bed was comfortable and the in room Keurig was greatly appreciated

The only critique I can offer is that there was never anyone at the front desk when we went through the lobby We had to wait probably 10 minutes for someone to come to the desk in order to check in, and every other time we passed through the lobby there was no one at the front desk Fortunately we didn’t need anything after checking in 😊

Before I rented two rooms one king size plus 1pet and one double queen size room the website say that they do FREE BREAKFAST and are pet friendly and the location was perfect because we was going to Lake Murray So we get to the Hilton I told them I needed two rooms plus pet and ask so you do Do FREE breakfast right she say NO we charge $40 a room for a complimentary breakfast 😳 and $75 none refundable pet fee so for the king $375 queen double$354 I thought complimentary was free but that only apply if your 6 in under if you don’t use the 40 it will be put back on your card I never got a receipt for my charges or email And only $40 back we got breakfast that was $17

63 so you do the math o yeah are stay was for 2 nights

I stayed at this Comfort Inn location for a total of 4 weeks during a recent business trip The staff was friendly and professionalA special shout out to the gentleman at the front desk who greeted me every morning and pampered me the last night of my stay by upgrading my room

Rooms are comfortable, breakfast and tasty and pool and hot tub hit the spot after a long day I highly recommend

Rebekah Luper

Got there and checked in, front staff was nice and made it easy However I checked out the room (first floor double bed room) for bugs and there weren’t any thankfully but the room was really dirty Found what looked like blood under a mattress, medicine cap in the couch cushion, stained blankets and was in general dirty

When I went out of the room the guy asked if it was okay and I said it was dirty He was super kind and apologized and said he would see what he can do in the morning About 10 minutes later he let me know he could upgrade me to a double Queen suite free of charge for the inconvenience which was very nice and appreciated This room was dirty too unfortunately Hot Cheetos in the cushions, hair on everything, fake nails under the bed and just generally dirty I knew there were no other rooms available so I told him (staff) that I was not going to complain because it was somewhere to sleep The hot tub had a chemical issue for sure though, it immediately burned our eyes and made us unable to stop coughing when the jets were one Once we left the hot tub and pool area, it cleared up but there is definitely a chemical issue with it Again I did not want to complain as it only seemed as if there was two on staff and this was during the snow storm but I did let the guy at the desk know about the chemical issue Overall I would not stay at this hotel again unfortunately

Don’t stay here Stayed here last year when in town for a funeral I booked all the rooms for my family and I, to take some stress off of my mother

We were charged extra for 2/3 rooms that had been booked and were told that one of the rooms had been upgraded, when that was the only pet room available and the staff chose to put my parents there I had left notes that one of the rooms would have a pet when the booking was made One of the housekeeper was scared of dogs when my parents walked by and screamed I understand her being frightened of dogs, but not the manager that told/yelled at my parents they needed to use the other door with their dog The “manager” that I spoke with while checking out had no idea how to correct the billing and had been shown the original confirmation/pricing My calls were never returned and the manager was never available I was told that they could not make any changes as I had used an OTA to book the rooms, but then they would do nothing to fix the error in their system that changed the rate The management also allowed vendors in the rooms to clean the carpet without informing guests, my dad almost slipped on the wet carpet when we returned later in the afternoon I worked hotel operations for years and had never allowed a vendor into an occupied guest roomJust avoid coming here Management doesn’t care to fix situations, even when they’re at fault, and will let vendors into your room without telling you They’re happy to just take your money, ignore your calls, and fain ignorance

Very comfortable, QUIET hotel Not sure how we never heard anyone above or beside us Great construction! More upscale and more amenities than your average Holiday Inn, Hampton Inn, Comfort Suites, etc

, but the same price No free breakfast, but who really enjoys those anyways 😜 There is a Starbucks on site, so drinks and food can be purchased there Appreciated the great water pressure in the shower Towels were soft Bed was comfy Rooms were clean

My wife and I just got home from staying at the Mariot, for two nights It was a great stay The staff were awesome from the front desk, housekeeping, to the lounge in the evening time

We interacted with Ryan at the front desk a few times An outstanding person Ebony, who runs the lounge, had not only the Oklahoma cook off to deal with, but a US foods convention at the Holiday Inn across the street, both in one weekend, but she was beautiful inside and out She gave us helpful hints where to eat in Ardmore, but helpful hints about Turner Falls, and what time to get there She has a great attitude, and I never saw her not smile Her patience, customer service and general attitude was nothing short of stellar I am a retired police officer, and personally, I think law enforcement agencies in Oklahoma should be recruiting this kid She would be extremely good at that job When we go back to Ardmore, I hope I see her in a police car! Getting recruiting Oklahoma law enforcement!

Rooms are great Very modern fresh look to lobby, lounge, and rooms One of the coldest AC’s I have ever experienced…

ever Insane how cold our room was My only complaint is the bistro/bar prices My wife and I ordered 2 6oz glasses of 19 Crimes Cabernet wine (a $12 bottle retail), and were charged $32…for 2 glasses of wine What the hell!!!!!

Very nice facility Well maintained Had valentine decor throughout the lobby and breakfast area

The jolly green giant could shower and not get his face wet but the rest of us not so Didn’t try the bar but it looked very inviting Breakfast was the usual Coffee was better than we’ve had but nothing special Nice fitness room Only tested the pool water with hand seemed warm Not hot tub Several dining choices within walking distance Would stay again

Jewell Cartales

I only gave them 4 stars overall because I had planned on using the pool but the pool needs refinishing or something It didn’t look very clean, and the water was cold The hotel itself was nice

The breakfast is great The staff were awesome And the room was very comfortable, Except the air conditioner was very loud when it would cut off and on

Jason Kerns

An easy access to Best Western right off of I-35 The staff at the desk were very kind, professional, and friendly The complimentary breakfast was quite legit

The building, carpets and rooms seemed rather new or at least newly remodeled and everything was clean The only small 2 little complaints I had was the room ACs seemed to kick off when it reached 72 and the room would get hot quickly and it would have to kick back on a bit later I felt bad about using too much more energy to keep the room cool, but the solution was to put AC on quite low to compensate for this, especially when sleeping My only other complaint was the pool was a bit turbid (cloudy) greenish color Didn’t have that chlorine clean smell like most small echo filled hotel pools have Maybe because they had a broken pump or something or it was a salt water pool and it was supposed to look like that I’ve swam in worse freshwater bodies, soBut kudos for the great stay!

We stayed at the hotel, enjoyed the casino, and ate at a couple of the restaurants They do everything with excellence The place is huge! I particularly like the idea that they do have a non-smoking casino area

The place is well ventilated You can play the penny slots to the high-roller eventsThere is something for everyone Although the pool wasn’t open, we lounged in the area outside the pool We had a beautiful view from our hotel room There is something for everyone! I’m not a gambler but I enjoyed the slots with $40 for many many hours The other couple made enough winnings to pay for both our hotel rooms, food, and the gas from Dallas It was a one day trip that was worth every penny We plan to return the next time we are in the area

Rosa Rios

I always have a great time here even if I don’t win They have good shopping, great food and the slots are fun If you are sensitive to cigarettes or smoke smells wear a mask as it does have a very, very strong smoky cigarette smell throughout the entire casino

This doesn’t bother me however (as I grew up around chain smokers) and it is to be expected in casinos They also have nice rooms in the hotel as well If you play a lot they may offer you a free room every so often I enjoy coming solo or with a group of family and friends Also, be prepared that this place is HUGE so be sure to bring a comfortable pair of walking shoes as you will walk a lot

John Lixey

Nice Casino for slots lovers Card games start at 5$ a hand Rooms are nice if a bit small and sometimes doesn’t have a microwave

Pool is very nice could be deeper and has a walk up bar Will say the bar staff at the pool are very rude won’t go into it but they’re the only problem I had at this place Love it and will go back over and over

We stayed here on our trip to Win star casino GREAT PLACE, to say the least Check- In was a breeze, Room was clean and very spacious

Great bathroom within the suite The breakfast in the morning was awesome and had tons of choices to eat and drink and it was all fresh The hotel staff were awesome as well Great place overall I would give them 20 stars!

Lea Lee

Our AC unit was leaking, pretty bad, and when it was brought to the front desks attention, they offered us a fan and said they’d have maintenance come to the room Nobody ever came About 3am we woke up hot, AC was blowing but no cold air at all

So now we’re hot and the whole room is damp because the unit is still leaking At checkout, again, brought it to front desks attention and I get told “I’ll have maintenance look at it as soon as y’all leave… travel safe”

Very clean little cabins We stayed for three nights with a group of friends We rented 1 & 2 and 6

If you’re going with family or friends definitely rent cabins in same groups (1&2, 3&4, 5&6, 7&8) as the common area and dock are shared, the cabins as a whole are very close together The cabins are really well stocked (plates, pans, dishes, cleaner etc) You can moor your boat in front of the cabins for the duration of your stay, docks with bumpers are long enough to tie two reasonably sized boats, or cleats with bumpers are located on either sides of the cabins Boats have to be launched at Tippy Point and driven across the cove to cabins Cabins are located in a no wake zone cove so very peaceful and cabins and boats do not rock Boat trailers have to be unhitched and left in parking lot on top of hill by mini-golf course And cars can be parked further down the hill They have a very strict no pets allowed policy but you won’t miss them with the geese and turtles that make their rounds for snacks Check in was incredibly easy, they just text the door code to your phone after check-in time We had a great time and would definitely stay here again

Alisha Nantz

We booked the East cottage for 3 nights during the week for a family vacation with my aging parents This was one of the best trios I’ve ever taken and I’ve been all over the country! The cabin was nice and clean and stocked with everything we needed They even sent us a packing list by email when we booked to let us know what all was included

That helped us plan and save space in the car so thank you for that! Check in was a breeze They sent us a code for the door by text so we didn’t have to physically check in at the office and were able to check out the same way We only encountered one employee while we were there I wish I would have gotten his name because he was so nice! He was the groundskeeper I believe The grounds are beautiful! We used the outdoor fire pit the last night we were there and made smores at sunset and it was beautiful! There was a deck around the entire cabin where we could fish off the deck or dive in and swim The water was perfect and so clean! One of the nicest lakes in Oklahoma! Wendy the manager was so sweet to us so if you see this, thank you Wendy!!! We really enjoyed our stay! I’ve attached my favorite pics🥰

Laura Roberts

This was an amazing place to stay! One of our top favorites The view was gorgeous The cabin was so user friendly and even had a washer/dryer

My kids thought the geese were the best The cabins DO move I suffer from pretty bad motion sickness but it didn’t bother me at all We would love to return one day Nice restaurant 5 mins walk away

This was a great place to stop for the night The hotel was very clean, employees were friendly and welcoming, and the room was comfortable Water pressure was fine

Bed was okay, but nothing really compares to your own bed, right? Hotel was generally quiet, no noise from the highway and neighbors were courteous The continental breakfast was minimalistic, but everyone in our group found something they liked My only complaint is that their coffee bar needs some desperate help! Overall, this would be a decent place for any traveler to rest their head

Keshammixon Noles

From the time we arrived everything was excellent Our rooms where clean and the Breakfast was good and the staff was awesome Only thing is they need to have Complimentary Waters for everyone

Don’t get me wrong we brought our own but y’all really should think about putting two bottles of water in all guest rooms YES we would Stay Again

Monique Lasseter

Hampton Inn & Suites is one of our favorite brands by Hilton We love the free breakfast We also love that they have coffee and hot tea all day and night

This trip was just as good as expected! My daughter loves hot tea before bed We would come in each evening about 10 pm and they would have hot water for her mint tea that they offer complimentary Once the front desk lovely lady noticed that my adult daughter drank tea each night, she was so kind to make sure that hot water was fresh and hot each night around 10 pm Thank you so much to the great staff that went out of their way to make our stay extra special for 4 nights! We will definitely be staying there again!

Minimal expectations of a room are working appliances as well as utilities Unfortunately, Borders Inn, in Ardmore OK failed to deliver on even those minimal points We arrived at our rooms at 9:00 at night, and we’re a bit concerned with the amount of questionable individuals hanging around the outside of the hotel that late at night

However, we’d been on the road 7+ hours and didn’t feel like we could chance trying to find another place this late at night with 4 kids in tow Upon entry into the room, we were met with what seemed to be decent accommodations Unfortunately, there was something that appeared to be mold growing inside of the AC unit It took multiple calls to the front desk to have anyone come up and take a look – during the time it took for them to respond we realized that our television did not work and, the bathroom door refused to latch and the room was in need of a whole lot of TLC After an hour with maintenance in and out the room and not so much as an apology for the inconvenience, let alone an explanation of what was in the unit, we requested to be left alone to sleep the remaining hours we had available to us before getting back up in the morning We woke up at least hoping for a warm shower, unfortunately the hot water heater was out of commission as wellThe room was in need of a great deal of TLC and for $125 a night with taxes and fees – we really were expecting better than thisAfter another phone call to the front desk we were told that maintenance would be in by 8:30AM- after we’d already be back on the road At this point I explained to the front desk personnel that minimal expectations were not met and I’d like to know what could be done about that and was simply told that she didn’t have the authority to do anything for us and that she would write our contact info down and someone would be in touchI can say that the breakfast was decent, exactly what you’d expect from a free breakfast at a mid level hotel

Jarod Wenger

This place is nice upon first look, if you are any somewhat of a clean freak then you will realize quickly that it’s not When walking around the hotel, I saw a pile of towels and an exposed outlet In our room the light fixture didn’t fit and we had stains on our pillow cases and had a black pillow

Staff gave us weird looks when we asked for a new pillow and pillow cases The exercise room had a half working treadmill and a functioning elliptical, and no weights at all Plenty of dust and bugs and other details I’m sparing you from as well I would say average breakfast at best You get what your money pays for and no more Stay if you wish

brianna archibong

Great staff The price is good, working laundry machines/ doesnt price gouge for laundry supplies Clean

But above all The ladies who run behind the desk were incredibly kind They were what made my time there 5 starsThank you both You two always made me smile

They go out of their way to make your experience the best it can be Favorite slots are Willie Nelson and the new I ❤ Jackpots Willie never fails me Thank you to all employees

The Hotel rooms are always so clean and comfortable The casino has opened a new non-smoking area in Rome and it is beautiful I’m a smoker so I didn’t stay long in that section but it is like being transformed into another world in that section

I highly recommend you visit there The drink stations are still not self serve but there is not often a line for them The restaurant choices is absolutely amazing they have everything you could possibly want Now I know your biggest question is how was the gamingplay smart and have fun and you will be a winner! It’s always fun to win money but for me going to Winstar is always fun no matter what

Santos S.

Winstar is a fun place for adults and children (10 and up in my opinion) Many choices of food places and the pool is a nice relaxing place to enjoy the outdoors The only downside for the children is I haven’t seen anything else for them to do besides the pool and walking around

Winstar needs an area for them to go and also enjoy more fun As for adults slot machines and tables are all we need for entertainment and they have plenty of them
