I booked a room block for my wedding in June Rande Gaines was terrific to work with – incredibly helpful, positive, and just made everything SO easy for my guests and I All the staff were lovely but Rande was definitely a standout and went above and beyond

The hotel itself was clean and the breakfast was quite delicious (really enjoyed the avocado toast and all the sides/toppings) Overall it was a really great stay and everything went very smoothly

Over the few years I or my extended family have stayed at this property and its always been a great stay It was a quiet location until One Loudoun was built out as it is now…and no surprise the property is even more busierFirst my thanks to GM Jacob Alibrandi who fit me in with a nice upgrade

My low score for this particular visit is due in part to the very rude waiter at the hotel restaurant I had picked up an order from doordash which consisted of a single apple pie, an erroneous order, and was sharing with my flight crew co-workers the mess up They had just finished eating dinner at the hotel restaurant and were seated in the lobby dining area

After my colleague expressed she didn’t truly enjoy her pureed squash with tofu and salad, I decided to share the one apple pie that I received with her and my other co-worker The waiter approached me from behind pretty indignant that I couldn’t bring food from the outside into the restaurant It was pretty aggressive for no reason at all Then my room was cold for hours after turning the heat up and the engineer had to come fix it He entered my room while I was in the lobby and when I came in he was pretty forceful about me coming back into the room using the key in my hand because he needed to be sure the room was mine (he had the door propped open with the deadbolt) My work photo ID was on the desk and the key in my hand was still in the case which displayed the room number I’ve stayed at this hotel at least 45 to 50 times in the last 2 years and this was the most unpleasant visit They need to step up their customer service and remember their position when the pandemic hit and they were reliant upon foreigners and flight crews to occupy their hotel at 60% in order to keep their doors open It’s not hard to be nice I hope for a better experience in the future

The two things that are absolutely required for you to be a hotel are beds and showers My shower was broken Ridiculous!UPDATE: In reply to the response below from Joel Fuller, I did contact the front desk but when I had 30 minutes to get myself and my son showered and out the door there was nothing they could do

How did the staff clean my shower adequately? Wouldn’t they notice the problem if they were cleaning the shower correctly, not just running some water through it? We both know the answer, they didn’t clean I have also have photos of the trash that was left shoved in between the furniture from the previous occupants So again, we know how well they cleanedI hope that when people read this, and your patronizing reply, they realize that you don’t really care “Next time call the front desk” is a pretty weak response to completely dropping the ball on having a working shower

Have always loved this hotel, BUT I booked a room for June and cancelled more than a month before arrival date (it was a cancelable reservation) I received confirmation email for canceling from Marriott I spoke with Sunny Singh on Saturday and forwarded him email

He confirmed he received it and promised it would be fixed that day and someone would respond The charge has not been reversed and there has been no further communication

I stayed here for a week for a work trip and my stay was nothing short of AMAZING!! The staff was INCREDIBLE and accommodating ( all the way from check-in to cleaning staff) Common areas were gorgeous and my room was spotless! I never even had to ask for anything for the entire week Towels and wash cloths were replaced every morning and bed was made perfectly! Everyone who worked at the restaurant downstairs were so nice and amazing as well

This is the first time I’ve stayed at a hotel and was legitimately sad about leaving! Will be back in a week! Wish I could give 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We will definitely stay here again in the future Looks like it will be a nice trip in the spring and summer Unless you do valet you will have a walk in from the parking lot and if it is busy you may have a bit of a walk in store for yourself I recommend dropping bags and passengers at the door and only the driver deal with the walk This leads to a quieter hotel though in my opinion, even surrounded by roads Tucked away in the woods is really a nice touch and one of the things that drew us in

This hotel was exceptional for our room block and rehearsal dinner for our wedding- Logistics: It has a continuous shuttle to/from the airport every 30 minutes that reliably transported 40 guests It was the furthest north-east Marriott we could find that had a continuous shuttle instead of an on-call shuttle

– Suites: Many of our guests told us after how much they loved their suites They were large but also reasonably priced- Event support: The space and service for our rehearsal dinner were great, and the hospitality suite conference room accommodated preparation for 9 bridal party members with 4 hair and makeup artists- Staff: The staff, especially Phillip, went above and beyond to accommodate our preferences, concerns, and last minute changes

While this hotel is the nice one in the area you can tell it is in dire need of updates From a leaking roof to the fitness center it’s a old hotel The breakfast which is $20 is robbery as it’s subpar food

In fact I believe free hotel breakfast at places like the holiday inn top the breakfast here Dinner is priced fine and tastes good The servers during breakfast are very niceThe gym is in dire need of updates and a working AC system It gets so incredibly hot and humid in there and adjusting the thermostat doesn’t seem to change anything Pool was closed , not sure if this is for good or notI seem to never be able to get anyone to bring towels I called three times one day, 30+ min apart and no one ever came up Likewise for wipes in the gym Have to always go grab them your selfParking is free and easyThe room is large and nice though showing it’s age with the TVs

I had an excellent stay here The rooms are clean and modern Bathroom shower was great, love the rain head

Free parking is convenient and seemed secure Check-in staff was fantastic and accommodating when I missed a flight There was some wind noise in my room, but I’m not going to count it against the hotel (since I didn’t ask for a different room) The hotel is close to the highway, shopping and restaurants are nearby I would stay here again

THE STAFF, Large room, comfy beds, clean bathroomThe staff was very accommodating and super sweet and hospitable My family’s power was out a little over 2 days due to a recent snow storm

They made sure we were comfortable, that we had everything we needed, and the check in process was stress free I will definitely be staying again but hopefully not due to the recent circumstances

the only close walking distance is Popeyes and a 7-11 and a few other small things I didn’t have a car, so location was not goodPhoto shows a poooool… I didn’t see this Really nice meeting and ballrooms from the outside and from photos Nice gym though Probably a great hotel for conference or meetings??I know location drives price, but wow Seriously overpriced I had a king room average 200 a night Bed and bathrooms were nice, pillows: bring your own No microwave Bar open only Tue-Sat closes at 10 or 11??? If I was not on company dime I personally wouldn’t stay again for the price

This is a nice hotel worth staying in again Though the room was a cramped, dark-walled rectangular, with a toilet too low and close to the shower, it had a couple nice features The desk was well placed and the couch was comfortable

The room had a defined living room and bedroom, with the rooms well separated with a half-wall and large TV mounted to it that easily turned to face the living room or the bedroom The fitness room looked good, but I did not see the pool The hotel staff was fantastic from front desk to housekeeping The food was just OK We had a little indigestion from their evening buffet, which may have been due to eating too much I would not dine at the hotel in the future The court yard was great, and I loved the flowering crape myrtle tree there

Clean, convenient, and well managed These days, it’s hard to predict what you’ll get from a hotel that was traditionally great pre- pandemic The service was friendly, rooms were reasonably clean, and we were treated to a view of the planes from Dulles taking off and landing from our room

Queen rooms had an ample seating area which was an unexpected surprise We ate dinner and breakfast there – it was at a traditional business hotel price point and with a lack of restaurants in walking distance, performed well When taking off for an early flight from Dulles, I would definitely stay here again

The rooms were very nice and organized I was staying for a school trip and was only in the room for 2 nights but it was great, the only thing that made me question the hospitality was the front desk I had kindly asked for extra towels because we only had one and the lady just gave me attitude

My roommates even said it was kinda hostile The breakfast was very good though, the pancakes were my favorite But it was a great stay and I would totally recommend it!

Attended this location for a business conference Hotel wasn’t complicated to navigate and staff was friendly and willing to be helpful I thought the food was some of the best I’ve had at any resort

Even means made in mass for the entire group were very good Bar was a very nice size to spread out if you wanted Rooms were good, nothing overly special but clean and nice Would definitely do it again

We had a great time!It is a nice mini resort The rooms were nice and clean and the service was great We ate primarily at the resort and enjoyed our food and the atmosphere Great gym and pool I’m not a golfer but the course looked nice The Spa is FABULOUS I highly recommend this place!

So my only gripe is still there The bathroom sink set in the middle of the bathroom has a table leg that sits in the middle My foot hits that every time I stay there

Otherwise the location, bars, ambience, food, golf and setting are excellentI love the pool and spa I want more time here Also a great setting for weddings, just a beautiful well curated set for an important moment
