Used the app to get a room at this hotel App consistently showed sold out Called the hotel to find out why

Was informed by front desk about two night minimum stay Was told by front desk to call the diamond desk, extremely rudely Diamond desk told me they would have the manager of the hotel contact me Manager never contacted me This has been a week agoHorrible service to a diamond member who spends 120+ nights a year in Hilton hotels

I’d like to describe my stay but I’m not able to The day of my reservation While I was in route We were notified that our reservation was canceled

I wasn’t the only one Apparently there was a massive amount of damage caused by a leaky pipe It was so bad that that all of our baseball families For the tournament that weekend, had their rooms canceled as well When I asked the front desk the reason why just the baseball teams were canceled I was disconnected Yepthey hung up on meGreat hotel They overbooked, and we got the boot

Overall the room was cleaned and served the purposes it needed to The facility as a whole was average as the pool was closed and didn’t appear to have been maintained The bathroom in the room I was in had pink mildew/soap scum on the shower walls around the fixtures/handles and the drain didn’t work properly as the stopped could not be fixed into the up position so the tub filled with water as you showered and then had to hold the stopped up to drain it

The location is fantastic as there are two restaurants in front of the hotel property and several more within a few minutes drive as well as a Walmart

I have stayed here many times and each stay was 3 weeks to 2 months (if not longer) I travel with my fiancé for his job and we spend many weeks & months in hotels When we are in the area for work this location is always the one we choose for many reasons

Extremely comfortable beds, clean rooms, accommodating to needs, as well as a friendly staff are just a few of the reasons The feeling of being welcomed back and remembered by the owners and staff always make us feel as if we are “coming back home” each and every time we visit I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay in the area

Just what we neededRooms were clean and smelled goodWas next door to a gas station market was a plus!Maybe 10 minutes up the road all sorts of resources and restaurants

We felt safe at this locationThe lady that checked us in that night was greatWe would stay here again and drive into Memphis The hotel price was very fair Verses hotels on Beale StreetWe had a microwave and a refrigerator in the room

Where do I start Let’s start with bed bugs in room 712 so they moved me to another room The rug was extremely dirty and stained

They only vacuumed when you requested it They only change sheets on certain days not when u request it The plastic cover under the sheets was stained Please see pictures You have to bring your used towels to front desk to get fresh ones They keep the room doors open while they change sheets so when u come back there are so many flies in your room The pool was closed because it couldn’t pass inspection according to the owner for the 3 out of 5 weeks I was there Once it was open so many bugs went swimming too No thanks If it wasn’t for the school setting me up with this motel and paying for it, I would have never stayed there with a name like Plantation Oaks It is 2022 not the 1950’s

No Just no Don’t come here

We drove from Texas, we are blindly exhausted, after coming up the stairs with our luggage, we are committed to one night But it’s absolutely disgusting here Sheets have burn holes and scuffled up marks Dust, dirt and grease or something that smells bad is everywhere on the carpet and surfaces It’s clear that no one is actually cleaning here I do not understand the good reviews

This hotel is okay to stay, but very cheap The management tries to cut corners at every turn The room had no soap and the thermostat was removed from the wall so you can’t control your room temperature

When we asked Mr Patel about it, he was unfazed The pool is indoors and we picked this hotel so we could enjoy a warm swim while traveling in the winter The price of our one room came out to be $150 and they don’t try to provide for what you paid for The pool was freezing cold I couldn’t get even get in it and it was cloudy 😳 Overall, the sleep was fairly comfortable and the breakfast was as good as it could get for a hotel breakfast, but unfortunately we won’t be staying here again This hotel was unfortunately disappointing, especially the pool

Very unhappy with this stay I travel for work and stay in hotels nearly every week The staff was very unprofessional upon arrival and during the check in process

When I arrived to my room the door looked damaged as if someone had tried to break into it using a screw driver and a hammer I immediately asked for another room and was told they were completely booked I find that statement hard to believe I did NOT feel safe staying there and was forced to check out and seek another hotel for my stay The staff again was very unprofessional and unapologetic for my need to leave As I walked down the hall I noticed 5 other rooms that doors looked the same This is completely ridiculous and this hotel should no longer carry the name of Holiday Inn, in my opinion I was forced to move to another hotel that was not offering a reward night stay and it cost me $27500 that I was not expecting What good is it to be Gold Member with points if this is the kind of hotel quality that is being offered

When we arrived we found that the outside security door was broken and did not close properly Having small children this was nearly a non-starter but being tired, decided to try anyways We then entered our room

Under the pullout bed was an empty bag of chips and it was very warm in the room After working with the front desk to resolve the issue we were asked to reset the AC (wall thermostat completely inoperable) unit to make the temperature drop That did not work and at that point we had enough and decided to leave Additionally, there were missing outlet covers in the hotel hallway, and the elelvator did not work stranding a person upstairs that needed it come to the lobby The only redeeming factor was the front desk staff member who seemed new but determined to keep things operating Unfortunately, it seems that most of the issues are beyond her control and management should be correcting the issues

Got a king room for my wedding night The room was on the first floor facing the back parking lot with SHEER curtains and no blinds I had to clip the decorative curtains closed and therefore turn off the heat so I didn’t start a fire

The shower was wheel chair accessible which was not needed for my wife and I but just the same the shower head was bolted to the wall on a slider It also flooded the floor and the towels were threadbare Overall not a fantastic experience

We’ve stayed here over the years, but no more Our room was not ready at 3:15, moved to another one Had ants in the bed, bath room door would not close at all, housekeeping came walking in at 8:30 and was wondering if anyone was in there so not fully dressed, got a call at 10:30 pm as we were sleeping to see in anyone was in the room, then our card to get into the room didn’t work

After all thisI don’t think that $29000 is appropriate All this in 2 days ! Sorry but we will not be back Alice Rowland
