When it comes to hotels, my reviews are based on cleanliness, customer service, facilities and of-course comfort of the mattresses This hotel nailed everythingHuge lobby with a cafe and restaurant for everyone

Spa is in house, valet parking is convenient but little pricey Its in the heart of downtown so what you can expect but the vehicle is safe and sound They were doing the carpet flooring on top floors so i got 9th floor room which had a decent view of the office buildingsRoom was spacious and no comparison to newly installed carpet I really like the simplicity and style of furniture and bath fittings installed Pool is big and they also have sauna n steam room for the guests Little details were taken care of in the ladies room Jacuzzi is awesome Fitness room is actually a full fledged gym with a separate yoga roomI am loving my stay here as each and every staff member is really professional and doing great job from janitorial to front desk

E.

PROS:-The hotel is clean and spacious & the pool area is nice- Your key card controls your room lights- Walking distance to Pike Place Market- Complimentary Robe & SlippersCONS:- The customer service at the front desk could’ve been a lot better

– The rooms have very, very thin walls, unlike anything I’ve experienced during a hotel stay I could hear the people in the next room clear as day- Parking is expensive! It’s valet only and costs $55

Rajen Doshi

Arrived, less than helpful check in staff Asked what may be open close by to grab a bite, was told to door dash with no recommendations Hotel room was large and fairly nice

Phone did not work Could not regulate the shower temperature, either scalding or cold Asked again the next night for recommendations and was told can go to capital hill and walk around, no specific local recommendations Staff was rude on check out Definitely not worth the price Will not stay here again

On a sudden trip, I ended up staying a single night in this amazing hotel A courtyard oasis in the middle of pike st Market a Mecca for foodies

I specifically went there in hopes that I could go to dinner at a certain place before the last seating Sadly my plane was late, but I still had the ability to have an amazing meal that nights just steps awayThe staff were courteous, kind, held my luggage when I took 90 minutes to wander the marketThey made me change, helped with bags, and have great rooms! The location cannot be beat as it is both centrally located, mass transit, and easy to find

Mike Richardson

Very well located hotel, has a lovely rooftop patio to relax and see the waterfront Friendly and helpful staff Room was comfortable and clean, however if you are on the street side of the hotel, the road out front can be quite busy and loud (notably much more loud on the weekends) so if you are a light sleeper, you may want to make sure to get an ocean or courtyard view room

Barbara Ray

We and our daughter came to Seattle to make up for a “trip of a lifetime” that her choir had canceled, located at the center of it all was this inn We had never stayed at a boutique hotel, and this one exceeded all our expectations The staff were absolutely wonderful and accommodating, and were constantly offering to help us

Definitely made it a wonderful trip!

My Husband and I stayed there on our wedding night I have a service dog- with documentation, that I gave the concierge first thing My husband informed me that they charged us for her stay- $250!! Which is literally not only against the law but descrimination

They had no right to give us a charge as our dog is literally my medical equipment When I called, the manager Matt acted as if they did us a favor by reimbursing the charge We have traveled all over, to nicer hotels, and never experienced such— especially on our wedding night Awful experience

Matthew W

Concierge leaves a lot to be desired Very confused about their own policies (Check in is 3PM not 4PM per their emails and general site information) Regardless of repeated checking in and request for early check-in, room was still not ready on time

Concierge was rude when notified they were past their check in time Requested Manager call back, never got one No attempt to make up for their own poor service Suite does not have mini-fridge Merely adequate hotel at premium price Better to stay downtown and uber to Ballard Inn at Market if fabulous wish I stayed there for my whole trip

Ronthel Payne

Very exquisite boutique hotel located in the Ballard district Had the opportunity to stay in a courtyard suite Very large space with each room separated by sliding barn doors

Large oversized tub ideal for soaking along with a sizeable walk-in shower I was not able to get to the on-site restaurant; however, once you step outside the restaurant, there are several bars that serve food There is also a spa located in the same building

For the price point, this was a great experience The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and the bed was (I kid you not) the most comfortable hotel bed I’ve laid inThe snow and ice were not cleared off the stairs or walkway leading up to my room, making it dicey to come and go

However, I’m giving them a pass on this because the snow storm pretty much crippled the island when I was there and I was just fortunate that the staff was able to be there If anything, I was extremely surprised and thankful that I stayed here And I’ll make sure to stay here again on my next visit to the island!

Holly E Hall

Room was clean Very basic and dated Old school TV, no fridge

The big problem is the terrible pillows! This motel is priced well for the area, but not so much lower that we shouldn’t expect comfortable pillows And there were only two pillows per bed Totally not enough One was flat, two felt like they were stuffed with socks One was decent Totally ruined the sleep

Wendy Doran

Staff friendly and helpful, however bed was really firm, toilet had problems working, extremely low water pressure in the shower, breakfast area in too small a space so it felt really crowded with minimal selection of foods, bathroom could have been cleaner, was okay but there was hair in the tub Not a great value for the price of the room

Wow! What a beautiful hotel with such wonderful front desk staff!Tamara at the front desk was incredibly personable and fun to talk with! She gave us a fantastic breakfast recommendation for the next morning and also remembered to say happy birthday to my partner (we stayed at the Seattle Marriott Waterfront to celebrate the birthday) once we got back in for the eveningTamara was very charming and VERY knowledgeable about the local area as well, she was a great resource for information for us and really went above and beyond to make us feel like the only guests in the hotel! She really made our stay brilliant and put a lot of effort into us in terms of her outstanding customer service!Immer the Valet was also incredibly nice, he was very nice and VERY fast! He certainly made us feel like VIPs when he brought the car around I’d even recommend staying at this hotel just for the Valet!

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This website will compare countless booking web sites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the best in this area

The service is super rude when checking in My partner booked us a room and they would not let us check in when he hadn’t arrived yet even when I had the confirmation, insisting that we call him up to verify that we are in fact staying in the room It was late – did we really look like we were going to steal some random person’s room reservation? Also they needed to check our IDs and take our card information when they had his on file – which I think is intrusive and just bizarre because we’ve never had an issue with any other Marriotts

The rooms are also really outdated – old wall paper, old carpet The bathroom tile is also really slippery when wet in the bathroom so hopefully nobody trips on that There were only two towels for the two of us – so we ended up using our wet towels constantly since they didn’t dry The walls are super thin and the air conditioning is exceptionally loud There was some blood(?) on the door way trim in the bathroom Your view will be blocked if there is a cruise ship docked The concierge lobby has no services except for some snacks The coffee tastes pretty burnt in there too The hotel breakfast is at the Hook & Plow and is pretty good food if you manage to get a table If there is a cruise ship at the pier, there will be a ridiculous amount of people waiting in line and you just won’t get hotel breakfast unless you wait at least 30 minutes It looked like they had the ability to serve food in the concierge lounge so I didn’t understand why breakfast was not there instead to cater to hotel guests Parking is $65 per day The location is definitely ideal if you are going on a cruise at the pier, but otherwise, it’s really not worth it to stay here

My husband and I were on a job and needed somewhere to crash so we stayed at this hotel for 3 nights Our room was on the fourth floor Two full sized beds frog, microwave, coffee maker, hair dryer, all the usual toiletries, plenty of fresh clean towels

Not only was it cozy & quiet, they also served a complimentary continental breakfast each morning eggs, potatoes, sausage, pancakes, muffins, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, & hot coffee YUMMY?! very nice very quiet and my husband and I would definitely stay here again well done

Cassie Knight

We stayed at the hotel for a week to visit family and friends Most of the staff was great, including Bryant Walker, who helped my husband out of the elevator when he and a few others were stuck The pool was down so we were bummed about that, but there was lots of construction going on which I thought was a good thing because that means things were being fixed up

Overall it was great as the location was good and close to good food, the ferry, and they had hot coffee 24/7

Broken kid’s PoolNot a very interesting situation happened to us The kid’s pool is broken, the heater does not work and is not expected to be fixed soon

The large pool is cold I was kicked out of the warm spa with a toddler, explaining that others do not want to be there with us However, there was no one On my remark that (because of the broken kid’s pool it looks unfair), we were told that there was a prohibition law for toddlers to be in spa When asked to show the law, it turned out that this was the rule of their hotel However, this rule was not written anywhere After that, the staff went and printed out this ruleI believe that we should follow the rules, but when they print a new rule in front of you and do not fix the cause of the problem, this is non-customer orientationDear hotel, please, fix the heater in the kid’s pool, children have equal rights with adults to be in warm water The rule that you came up with about 10 minutes every hour is not a solution to problems

My family and I stayed here in 2016 and it was amazing We are scheduled again for 2021 and I had some questions before booking and called in Maggie was excellent! Very knowledgeable and detailed about upcoming events, things to do, how to accommodate our needs

How in the holy hell does this place have good reviews? We made our hotel decision based on them and it’s just not correct Wishing we’d made a different decisionTerribly dirty, our pillows are literally yellow and smell like they’ve been used for the last 10 years

The room is dusty, and has a body odor smell to it The AC must be broken because as I lay here at 2:30 sweating and hot I can assure you it is not 69 degrees in my roomThis is not luxury or cute It’s dirty, old, and way past it’s prime Kimpton, do better!! This particular hotel is a stain on your reputationBut I will say, the staff is very nice So that’s quality But the actual hotel is just plain gross

Richard Ellis

Just recently reopened! Pros: A cute charming place with superb customer service; beautiful rooms and very clean! Cons: For a basic room, extremely expensive (can’t use “inflation” as an excuse, can’t use “tons of events in Seattle as an excuse,” etc) Basically, you jacked up the price so much that spending almost 500$ for a simple room blows your mind away! You canClearly see where businesses are taking full opportunity to get every dime from you that they can! Parking was 75$

Three drinks (2 glasses of wine and one gin), was 60$ Even in simple guest houses in Europe, you’d get a simple breakfast A coffee and simple biscuit w egg and cheese was almost 30$ Yes, I have choices so that’s on me but would not recommend for this price (a dingy motel downtown Seattle was 100$ less so we picked the better of the two) Looking out to Oct, we see your prices go to half the amount so will give it another try just because it was so cute Overall, with valet parking (no real other choice) tip x 2, bellhop x 2, room, drinks and a tiny breakfast, it came out to be almost 730$ You can get a 5 star room in Paris at the last minute, in summer with parking and full breakfast for less than that!

Dragon Crow

This place is a scam as 4+ star rating is FAKE To top it off, they employees, like Chris, who claim to be “in-charge” or managers but wouldn’t give up until making the experience even worse for the guestsIts tiny, hole in the wall, and dirty hotel

I WOULDN’T STAY HERE AGAIN AND WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE, for 2 reasons#1, The managers, like Chris, who would insult the customers They dont understand their own job, responsibilities, would blame customers, and wouldn’t miss a chance to insult them publicly#2 The hotel has been renovated with new paint and paintings, however, the building is old (which is fine), dingy, and smelly The rooms are way smaller thank shown in pictures, overpriced, and A/C doesnt work A/C cuts off at 75F

I was on a business group rate trip for 3 nights, so maybe that’s why it was mediocre I’m vegetarian and my husband is an omnivore The meals that we were served did not taste flavourful or fresh

It was Russian roulette whether you would get a soft or hard dinner roll Even the steak and fish were dry and unappealing The only meal that was good was breakfast, very well done Besides the group meals, the room service options were sub par and the cocoa we ordered arrived lukewarm Husband said restaurant food was a 5/10 Very kind busboy and attentive staff Rooms impeccably clean Beds and pillows very comfortable

Gareth Lynn

Just had a wonderful stay at this hotel The standout feature was the truly excellent standard of service and support from all staff A big shout out in particular for Sayaka at concierge services who was simply outstanding

Lovely building with fascinating history, well proportioned rooms and very comfortable bed Superb location for central Seattle and a great bar and range of drinks It was the staff and their level of service that made this a 5 star review

Jay Reyes

Love this place! My favorite place to grab a late night drink with friends! Was there the other night and had the best time ever thanks to Andrew in the bar area! He was very attentive and friendly to my party! He was quick to provide us with drink and food recommendations He kept the Lastword drinks coming and made sure my friends wine glasses where filled with great selections! Would highly recommend The Fairmont for a casual get together and great drink selections!

At check in the 2 gentlemen at the front desk were friendly and helpful!! Went out of their way to show us things to do and how to get around!! Once we got to our room and opened the door I was impressed! (I travel a lot so this is not easy to do) The room was super clean, great view of the city! The big bathroom was beautiful and super clean!!! The beds were comfortable We did order room service and it was delivered very quickly and it was yummy!!! They offered us water at check in and told us the water in the room was complementary and if we wanted any more just let them know! This hotel pays attention to detail! Location is fantastic, close to everything you need! They made sure my stay was perfect and that we were well cared for Thank you Grand Hyatt!!!

Grand Hyatt Seattle made me and my family feel like we were the most important people in the hotel The hotel was absolutely beautiful, it looks like the person who designed this hotel really took his/her time to pick out every detail I also wanted to acknowledge Gary at the front desk

He is absolutely the most respectful young man I have ever met and truly went out of his way to get my family dinner and some stuff from a store when we arrived late to the hotel We arrived just when he was getting off work and I asked where we could pick up some stuff but everything was closed in downtown Without asking, he managed to find a store and bring us what we had been looking for (on his own time) and when I tried to reimburse him for it, he eagerly and politely refused I have never seen someone go out of their way to help a guest like this young man did I will a loyal guest for a long time to come Thank you Grand Hyatt Seattle

Lisa Johnson

The rooms are posh but the hotel lacks gathering spots; there’s only a Ruth’s Chris in the lobby but no bar or other option if you’re looking for a place to meet colleagues for a drink after your meetings Best thing about this place is the proximity to the convention center Made it to meetings at the conference in under 3 minutes while other convention hotels were 10+ minute walk

Panoramic views of downtown Seattle, comfy beds, luxurious decor and amazing customer service! We were thrilled that we booked our weekend stay here Sun provided us with exceptional customer service and made us feel so welcome We needed adjoining rooms with my parents which included my father who is a disabled vet, and she was very understanding and responded to all my calls promptly

We felt like extra special guests staying at this hotel- from the kind welcome at the Charlotte bar and restaurant to housekeeping, they were all warm and professional as well Kudos to the whole staff at Lotte Seattle!

My husband and I stayed here over a Saturday recently and were impressed by the decor, the service, and the cleanliness of this place We were given sparkling wine on check-in and sat in their beautiful upper floor lobby admiring the view After walking around Seattle and checking out some art we ate a fantastic dinner at the restaurant–just amazing food

That night we slept like babies in our quiet, comfortable room This was a day away from the kids for us and I am glad we chose this hotel It was perfect

Such a beautiful hotel with beautiful, luxurious decor and great amenities The rooms were decorated beautifully, and in great condition Excellent downtown location as well! We were within walking distance to everything from the ferris wheel, Pike Place Market, well-known restaurants, etc

Caitlin and her manager, Ronald, at the front desk were phenomenal! They went above and beyond to deliver exceptional 5-star worthy customer service Four Seasons never disappoints when it comes to customer service, and the Seattle location was not an exception I highly recommend!
