First time staying at the William Penn Lovely, historical downtown area Hotel is very elegant, quite the visual experience! Very quiet, classy atmosphere

Staff was excellent: front desk, valet, bellman, waiters Prompt service all around Room was slightly smaller than expected Both public and private areas were very clean and well maintained Should have upgraded to a city view room as our room was a view of the brick walled building very close next door Room was nicely appointed Would have enjoyed a small chandelier in the closet area, instead of a plain ceiling fixture (The public areas boasted stunning chandeliers!) Bed was very comfortable, soft linens Shower had glorious water pressure! Bath towels were very clean, but stiff Window shades provided excellent blackout for a nice sleep-in of a morning Brunch in The Terrace Room was excellent Nice variety of foods available, excellent waitstaff Beautiful furnishings Disappointed that The Speakeasy closed at 11:00PM on a Saturday night Would have enjoyed a nightcap after our Broadway show Within walking distance of many popular restaurants and venues Felt very safe here Key card entry required for elevators Highly recommend this lovely hotel and would stay again with an upgraded city view room

Lovely, historic hotel in downtown Pittsburgh Ron Gilbert, the Restaurant Manager, was very attentive to my autistic son’s food and other special needs and was so pleasant — he even stopped by our table to say hello Housekeeping very nice, although it seems you have to make a special request to have your room and beds made up

Sam (that’s a lady!) who took care of our room for several days was attentive to our every need and always asked me what we needed She even taught me how to use that little clothesline in the bathroom! Views aren’t great in some rooms I think you really have to make a special request way in advance to get a better view, which we have in the past All rooms have refrigerators and we were able to get a microwave which was useful Everyone was pleasant and helpful All in all, a very nice stay

Ashley Crawford

Very beautiful hotel The staff were amazing, so kind and quick to help out with everything Loved that they had valet parking

The rooms were clean, nicely decorated, and spacious The beds were comfortable and the shower had plenty of hot water I would have liked to see a few water bottles in the room given the cost but that is not a huge issue It was conveniently close to everything downtown, we stayed for the Pittsburgh marathon The staff were even kind enough to store our luggage after we checked out for a few hours until we were ready to leave the city Overall it was a great experience and I would easily return anytime and will definitely recommend to anyone traveling to the Pittsburgh area

Stayed at this location for work The staff is amazing and so kind! George and the rest of the staff created an environment that felt welcoming and helpful The king suite was huge and I would forever pick the suite over a traditional room

The proximity to the conference center was great They have a small outdoor courtyard that was perfect to just sit back and enjoy some fresh air You also have many restaurants right across from you on a road that is not super busy Would recommend and stay again

Megan Foster

The hotel seems recently renovated Our room was nice and clean The front desk was friendly and accommodated my request for a new iron very quickly

The breakfast at the partnering restaurant next door left lots to be desired both in options and friendliness Coffee in the lobby would be a great addition!!Valet process upon arrival was easy The price of 24$ is what I would expect in a big cityWe had a back alley view and the noise level was moderate Definitely got woken up a few times through the night by street noiseGreat proximity to the convention center Would stay here again!

Jeff Mason

Great hotel in a fantastic location! It is actually the closest hotel to the Pittsburgh Convention Center The city view side overlooks all the excitement on Penn Ave and the backside overlooks the Convention Center

The hotel has been updated and my room was gorgeous with very high ceilings, modern furniture, large smart TV and a coffee maker I stayed for several days so it would have been nice if they had a microwave in the roomAll of the staff were very pleasant and helpful All in all, I had a great stay!

Great Hotel! This hotel had very big rooms and a nice view It was in a very good location and the service was great The only drawback was the bathroom door in our room was broken and getting to the hotel to begin with was a little difficult but, our experience at the hotel easily outweighed all of that

Overall a great choice and a decent price for some of the other hotels directly surrounding it

Josh S

Stayed here for 4 nights First night we had no hot water, it wasn’t fixed till 10amWhen the water was fixed, we discovered that our shower would flood the bathroom floor no matter what we did

The tiles weren’t angled properly, and it would drain out of the showerWe were also only given one towel, and no toilet paper Had to call room service to get some, waiting almost two hours before it showed upWhen the hotel staff member showed up with our towels, he proceeded to unlock the door and dump them in No knock or anything Very surprisingBreakfast was very basic Ran out QuicklyThe only positive, was that everything was extremely clean in the roomPretty disappointed overall Wouldn’t recommend

Ken Yeh

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel They compare countless booking websites and typically will have rooms a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the highest rated in this area

I am a returning customer and both experiences were great I’ve been traveling for work which requires me in Pittsburgh once or twice a month This hotel is situated nicely close to the office and good restaurants

The staff are incredibly kind and helpful Really one of the best crews I’ve seen Valet is excellent as well The interior is beautiful as you can see by the pictures and the rooms are cleanThe beds are surprisingly the most comfortable I’ve experienced Odd to say that, but it’s true Room service is excellentIt’s great experience overall Now in May I’m attempting to travel with family, so we will see how a toddler does I suppose we will see what it’s like not to have a kitchenetteAlso wheelchair friendly and accessible The sidewalk in Pittsburgh are just ok, but that has nothing to do with the hotel!

Matt Smith

Great location in the Cultural District Staff was super polite and helpful Our room was decent

It was clean and the bed was really comfortable But it is in bad need of an update A couple pieces of furniture showed signs of minor damage, there were multiple holes in the drapes, and there was even a small hole in the fitted sheet on the bed And the chair in the room is terribly uncomfortable None of that would keep me from staying here again, but it will cause me to try a different hotel if available

Tracy Kennedy

For the money you pay the services should have been much better Requested extra towels, they never were delivered Reported that the tub was slow today and we were standing in ankle deep water

It never got fixed The rooms are lovely, the lobby is too, but for half the price you can stay at the Courtyard down the street The location at the Courtyard is a little closer to some fun bars and restaurants The Courtyard is a great property

Pros:Great location in Mt Lebanon next to several restaurants The T to take you to Downtown Pittsburgh is literally behindThe staff is the most friendly I have ever met

Very welcomedWhen I found there was food from the prior guests, the staff immediately fixed the issue, and also gave me free parking for that nightCons:There is an evelator issue, in which one of them break Causing a huge problem for guests as well as staff Need to make sure that evelators are serviceable during the off-season instead of on-season (Holidays and other events)Rooms are clean spacious However, the doors for the bathroom weren’t properly installed or secured Installed on the top, but not the bottom Please address this promptlyParking is tight But it was even tighter and more expensive at the Sheraton at Station SquareOther than parking, I hope the elevator and bathroom doors issues are resolved before our next planned trip in SeptemberThank you for a wonderful stay

Larry McArthur

The parking garage was horrible for a truck! The room never got made, which is ok, but it would be nice if someone would have told us I think they were really low on staff Hot Breakfast was eggs and wrinkled sausage and the usual bagel cereal and yogurt

Hot coffee got cleaned up with breakfast, so don’t go looking for a cup during mid day Pool ladder steps spun and were missing bolts The pool tile was fairly slippery My son fell a few times and I had to walk very carefully Hotel is pretty, and close to a lot of little restaurants, but lacks in

The team at Mansions on Fifth is unmatched Rebecca, Zach, Gabby, Adam, and the entire crew made our perfect day so special! We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect wedding ceremony and reception, and are so happy that we chose Mansions on Fifth to host Our guests loved the history of the venue and how inviting the space and the staff is

They were extremely accommodating and were able to assist us with our every need The food was incredible – we can’t stop thinking about the almond crusted chicken and all of the courses that were served I can’t recommend this venue and team enough to host weddings and events for anyone looking for an elegant, grand, and inviting space to host your guests Thank you so much for making our day so perfect!

Madison Marie

My husband and I were married here in 2019 It was AMAZING The entire staff did a wonderful job – especially Zach! The hotel is positively beautiful, and we all enjoyed staying here for our wedding weekend

Everything was so clean and wonderfully decorated We were served a dinner at our reception as well as a breakfast the morning after, and both were delicious Mansions on Fifth will forever hold special place in our hearts, and I love coming back to visit whenever I’m in Shadyside If you’re a bride-to-be looking for an intimate, classy, and timeless wedding venue, definitely consider Mansions on Fifth

Miriam Parson

Disappointing A couple paintings do not counterbalance the cheap cafe tables and chairs, the unsophisticated bar service, and the overall lack of ambiance I expected leather and grace, and instead found dirty hotel chairs and uneducated bar service

As a local, I will say that there are far more elegant spaces in our city A couple thousand invested would provide leather seating and marble tables to match the marketing Right now this space does not represent our city’s gilded age or any age

I used a third-party for purchasing my hotel stay I was visiting my friend for the week and weekend, and the hotel did NOT deliver excellent service I was told the standard king room I requested online had a maintenance problem

The staff would not elaborate about why they couldn’t give me the room, until I had heard it from a manager later during my stay Then while I was there, I stepped in something small on the hotel room floor that looked like chocolate or poop I don’t know I took it to the front desk in a tissue No one did anything when I complained I also had to be in charge of throwing out my own hotel room garbage in front of the door Also all the other hotel rooms had their rooms cleaned while they stayed, but mine was NOT cleaned until we left Their excuse was that their housekeeping was short staffed I’m disappointed in the hotel and the travel website I used to book the room The breakfast was acceptable, but everything else wasn’t Best to go to a hotel that actually LISTENS and cares about excellent customer service Not a good hotel to pass through in Pittsburgh

Paul Martin

Extremely friendly staff Very clean room including the small details other hotels overlook or just do a poor job of cleaningI was an extremely late arrival

After a long day of travel, the front desk employee made check in easy and accommodated my stupid request after I had checked inThe only negative I can think of is a minor complaint at best One driveway is closed It’s not well marked and there is no clear direction on how to access the parking lot but it wasn’t that hard to figure out even though it was a very dark night and well after midnight It may have added two minutes into my arrival time See, minor issueI was here for business When I have to come back to our facility nearby, I will stay here again

Rosemarie Smith

I called several weeks in advance to confirm that I needed a handicapped walk in shower The desk person I spoke to said she made a note on our reservation When we arrived we were told no handicapped room was available

For 5 days we did not have the accommodation that we requested and paid for The manager was rude and uncaring of the situation She simply said we don’t look at the notes and that was that!!!Breakfast was good and the other staff was nice

Rude Front Desk Supervisor (Ellen)The hotel charge me an extra $300 for 1 night because they claimed I checked in a day before I really didWhen I called the hotel about this I was called a liar by the front desk supervisor (Ellen) and she told me “I was on camera signing papers and checking in on Friday” I checked in on Saturday and checked out on SundayEllen was very rude and was chuckling when telling me I was lying and I stayed for 2 nights not 1 like I actually did

When I asked for her employee number she then hung up on meI called the hotel back 5 times and was sent to voice-mail every timeI have never been disrespected and treated so poorly by a “professional” establishment, this experience made me feel like the gum stuck on the bottom of someone’s shoe This experience still feels really bad and Ellen hurt my feelingsI didn’t deserved to be treated like that and no one deserves to be treated like thatMy Girlfriend and the organization I was at this hotel with are just as upset about my experian as I am

Had my daughter’s wedding shower in the restaurant on the top floor Absolutely beautiful view We couldn’t open the windows or really utilize the outside space because of the weather but was still great

We had buffet lunch – 6 different small bites items and each was tasty Loved the cream cheese cucumber sandwich especially Lots of staff dedicated to us and everyone was very friendly and helpful

Brett Wilson

The location of this hotel is fantastic Hotel parking is valet only and it’s $25 We asked for extra towels when we checked in and never got them

We stayed in a deluxe king room The room was clean and nicely appointed, but small I shudder to think of what the micro rooms are like size wise I don’t know what size the bed was It was larger than a queen, but it definitely wasn’t a standard 76″ wide kingThe weeknight price wasn’t bad for the room But I’d drop dead before I’d pay what they’re charging for a weekend stay

Victoria Morningstar-Poole

I really enjoyed my stay here It was only for a night but I had wished it was for a bit longer afterwards There is so much to do around this hotel and get to experience from shopping to great food

My room was clean and had everything I needed I loved how nicely stocked the coffee and tea was I also thought it was nice they had a bottle of water supplied Everyone was so helpful and kind at the hotel and checkin was very easy as well as understanding the valet parking that is offered

I have been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t be let downVery clean and great service!Easy parking with paid $30 a dayBooked 2 rooms by hotel com A little problems with checkin, but the manager Anthony gave us a great hand We will be back Highly recommended to anyone!

Josiah Kenyon

The hotel is starting to really come together! The new restaurant is open for breakfast (The Factory) and I was very happy with the breakfast bowl and French press – creative and deliciousThe main lobby is gorgeous and open with arguably the best city view you can getThey are still constructing the remainder of the bar/restaurant, so keep that in mind, but over all a really great experience and the staff are all friendly/professional

Latosha Jackson

We have been staying at the Sheraton Station Square for many years I was happy to see the lobby and room/barhroom updates, it was needed The restaurant is still under construction but we rarely ate there when it was open

The shower pressure wasn’t the greatest, but it got us clean The patrons in the halls were loud, but that’s not the hotels fault I didn’t know we weren’t gonna get our room cleaned, but one call and we got new bathroom towels in under 5 minutes The location is convenient and close to lots of things and the views are spectacular We’ve never stayed in an inside room, but this past weekend there were several weddings so I couldn’t image the noise level there

Spencer Kellis

I had an overall great experience here; the room was comfortable and clean, the breakfast was pretty good, and the staff were generally friendly and helpful It is very convenient to UPMC, the hospital and other associated buildings – an “easy” walk, so long as you don’t mind some rather steep uphill sections One thing to be aware of: the parking situation isn’t great

They have limited parking in a very cramped and somewhat beleaguered looking garage, and if you arrive late there’s a good chance it will be full In that case, there’s street parking, but it’s metered starting at 8am, or they will direct you to a parking garage about 2-3 blocks away (where we eventually parked) where you can park and walk back Not the greatest experience in the world to arrive late and tired, ready to sleep and then have to spend another half-hour or more figuring out parking But, this is in part the price paid for such a convenient location!

Sunil Jain

The hotel was good with spacious clean rooms and a convenient locationBUT, management is cheap and stingyCalled front for body lotion – got the response that they have ran out of themBreakfast:Broken toaster – Cannot even replace with a new oneDissappearing breakfast items – blamed on shortageRoom CleaningService staff stormed to clean the room while we were still there

Something seriously wrong with management

Charis Armah

The hotel in itself is a beautiful property although the management staff leave much to be desired with their uncouth and downright rude behavior! It might be because I am person of color, I am quite unsure but the GENERAL MANAGER, Kimberley Jones, of the property saw it fit to hang up the phone on me and my father and tell us to meet her downstairs due to the simple fact that the TV provided in the room was NOT working! That in itself was mystifying and unprofessional coming from the woman who runs the hotel but the shock did not end there Upon coming downstairs, she then saw it fit to not even be present for the conversation she had moved abruptly in-person and rather send out her subordinates to defend her uncouth behavior! In all of our stays at hotels, we have never experienced such a a rude employee, let alone a manager! As my father is a Gold Elite Members of Marriott, we were shocked to receive such treatment at a Marriott hotelIf you want your stay to be sprinkled in with unnecessary rude and aggressive behavior, I definitely suggest staying at this hotel!

We really enjoyed this sweet boutique hotel First, the staff was friendly and helpful Front desk was informative and efficient

Housekeeping was quick to respond and rooms were clean Don’t ever lose those great dreads:) and smile(you know who I mean) Second, the valet parking had good communication and service Shout out to Mica I’d trust him with my ride any day Lastly, location Close to exits and walking distance to all the cool things in downtown Pitt They were doing some remodeling but it wasn’t a hassle You are going to rock even more when it is finished! Keep up the good vibes I’ll definitely stay there again when visiting Rock On!!

Gabriella Guadagno

Room was very small, bed was comfortable though Temperature was perfect, the lobby was beautiful very nice decor and wonderful staff There is a beautiful terrace on the 10th floor with an amazing view of the city

It was really in the perfect location, target and LA Fitness was 8 minutes away so it was very convenient The only big issue I had was there was NO parking, I had to leave my car on the street they only had three stops and one of them was for an electric car and handicap The lots are so expensive, 25$ every time to go in and out so parking at meters and leaving my car three blocks away was SUPER annoying and honestly a big deal breaker for meThere is no microwave in the room, but you can use the lobby I am a Graduate student so I had to go down to heat up my food every day which was also annoying My room also did not have a blow dryer, but the front desk would have gave me another one I just never called back The stay was very comfortable, and the hotel was very clean Amazing and friendly staff!!

cam ,

It’s easier to mention what’s bad since most is good First of all, I’ve never ever had a front desk attendant as rude & useless as the accented, bearded, tall black man who checked us in This is not rooted in racism, all the other black employees were incredible

The room was really tiny for a king suite $35 for valet and $25 for self park is absolutely unacceptable, should have a free option of some kind Restaurant/bar wasn’t openPretty clean, location is best in city, rooftop deck was nice Very, very comfy bed Shower was awesome Modern Security was great, felt quite safe Internet was pretty quick Very clean area

stayed here for a mini trip in pittsburgh and it was so great! this was roughly the same price as hotels nearby but it’s so much more worth it because you get an entire apartment there was a kitchen with dishes, silverware, dish soap, etc it was very clean, in a great location, and the staff at the front desk were so nice and made my stay so easy

loved that there was a rite aid right next to it parking in the garage attached was $30 a night which wasn’t too bad giving air bnb vibes but it’s a hotel

Etage was truly a wonderful lodging experience in Downtown Pittsburgh Communication by staff when calling prior to my stay was lovely Check-in was a breeze

On-site staff was kind and accommodating The lodging itself exceeded expectation by being large with a full kitchen set-up and fun colored lighting by the bed The views were fab, and featured a view of the valley and PPG PlaceWill definitely stay here on future travel to Pittsburgh! xo

The view associated with these apartments were EXCELLENT! Management and staff were respectful and courteous Mr Shakur went above and beyond the call of duty,we truly appreciated him helping us with the questions we had

Also,I like the fact that they have a flat rate for parking and how the location is within walking distance to all the food spots and tequila bars😁

This is a great hotel that just went under a complete makeover 100% top to bottomThe rooms are first class very clean with all new furniture, large soft towels and most importantly very quiet / safeJosh at the front desk goes above and beyond to make sure guest are taken care of

Jean S was a pleasure to work with as wellI travel 150+ days a year so I recognize top quality when I see itThis hotel has it 👍👍

Where do I start?

After their remodel, they’re now insanely expensive They’ve gone “TRENDY” Whats that mean, you ask? It means; no garbage cans in bathroom, or any real cans anywhere SUICIDALLY dark lighting in the rooms, but don’t worry, you’ll probably concuss yourself on the bathroom door because it blocks the hallway before you can slit yourself you have to close it to get out NO TABLES OF ANY KIND IN THE BATHROOM I had to put up the ironing board to set my stuff on God help you if you’re a female No towel racks because trendy things are trendyOH and if you can figure out how to set their trendy ac unit so it doesn’t blow hot air in the summer, you belong in MENSA Bathtub dirty, fridge iced over etc etcBOTTOM LINE; I’ve stayed there 4 or 5 times This is the last

The worse experience I have ever had! The management including staff and manager Carmen were not accommodating or willing to assist a large family with several young kids We booked online and when we showed up the hotel was under renovations with “pool” Online it states pool indoors

The manager didn’t even want to speak with me at first kept trying to speak over phone with staffing relay information Then they just kept showing us a websitethat is very difficult to navigate and yes at the very bottom after you reserve it satates “no pool” Staff was rude Staff was unsincerce I would never recommend this hotel!!!! 0/5 stars! Or better yet -5/5

The ice machines weren’t working so you had to have the front desk get you some from the Cafe The breakfast is made to order and is NOT included with your room cost Coffee and fruit are offered free however

The hot tub was out of order and the pool was too cold for my liking so we didn’t utilize that amenity Also the guest laundry feature was out of order Check out was noon and I was able to have a late checkout til 1pm without extra charge Beautiful back yard with large gas fireplace over looking the river made up for all the other things out of order though Very nice Service from staff was excellent

I don’t normally leave reviews But in this case I just feel it’s so necessary! ALL and I mean ALL the staff were extremely polite and very helpful and accommodating! I really appreciated the valet staff being especially patient with us loading and offering to help! The room was exceptionally clean and even smelled super clean when we walked in It was great having the breakfast and kickback

Also loved the pool and hot tub! Thank you for being the best hotel around!

Vern Rogers

This is a great hotel for people attending a convention It is very convenient and you’ll save a great deal with the free breakfast and the evening snacks The room was clean – it’s nice to stay in a room where the HVAC doesn’t wake you up when it comes on

Some of the rooms have no view and look directly at a wall – but you probably aren’t spending time in the room to enjoy the view The fitness center is small, the pool is decent, and the rooftop deck is great when the weather is niceThe best part was the staff Everyone was professional and helpful I really appreciated Darnell – he does excellent work in the dining areaBefore you leave, make sure you go down to the basement to see the old vaults from the bank that used to occupy the building

K C

Our stay was amazing We had the best time and was a great location So close to everything

The free breakfast and dinner buffet was great also and the free drink vouchers I have to say the front desk had great staff but hands down Nina was so sweet and gave us lots of ideas to do while we were there She definitely went above and beyond her job and amazing She definitely deserves a raise We definitely will be back real soon and can’t wait to stay here again

Room was a nice size Bathroom was sizeable though the sink was outside in the room Shower head had 2 settings which was nice with good pressure and fast hot water

The fridge in the room was a good size so was good for storage The bed was soft and small bit firm so we slept comfortably The staff was friendly The breakfast had variety I’d definitely stay again!

Julian Stirrat

They didn’t clean the rooms while we were out, there’s almost nothing to watch on TV Some channels were frozen, some had two languages at once, and some were even blind people channels where they narrated what was happening Also, the was very bumpy and loud; I did not feel safe riding it

The best part was the beds and the proximity to many attractions including Kennywood

James Paddock

Worst hotel I have stay in this year Cold water was shut off to both the shower and the sink Turn down the cold water for the sink but couldn’t find the turn on for the shower

The sink stopper wouldn’t work The shower stopper wouldn’t work The fridge was frozen up And if you’re a big person you don’t fit on the toilet Whoever’s doing your remodel is a hack and you should fire them And all I got was a thanks for letting me know all these problems were there Will never stay here again

We booked a block of rooms for our wedding The room was great, and the staff were helpful and friendly The bar closes fairly early, so we had to move our after-party elsewhere

If booking a block of rooms, note that a very steep fee is charged for unused rooms, and they are unwavering on it We had multiple cancellations in our block due to the travel issues and COVID, and these rooms were ultimately charged to our master account This policy is very different from other hotels in the area, so just be sure you can meet their minimum requirements I would definitely stay here again, but there are probably more flexible options for wedding blocks in the area

Becky DePodwin

*Update to reply to the manager’s reply below*If you truly cared, you would actually call me back I’ve literally left 2 voicemails and my information with two other staff members, asking for a call back There is absolutely no excuse to not have called me back to resolve this

Baffling how a simple task such as shipping a small item back seems beyond your capabilitiesThe hotel itself was great, but the staff has been absolutely incompetent in following up with a simple lost and found request We let the front desk know we thought an item may have been lost in the hotel We received a call a few days later saying it had been found and to fill out a form on a website, which we did We then heard nothing I placed three calls to the hotel, leaving a message on housekeeping voicemail once and speaking with a front desk representative the other two times I never received a call back from anyone I filled out the form on April 3rd and finally received notice on May 23rd that they had my item (which we already knew) and to fill out a form for shipping The shipping rates for a hat and gloves are $37 at the cheapest and $54 for the most expensive, which is absolutely outrageous for an item to be shipped 3 hours in-stateI now cannot get through to anyone at the hotel and am on hold with Marriott customer service Incredibly disappointed in what should have been a simple request to ship items back to a loyal customer

Doug

The only place I will ever stay when I come to Pittsburgh is The Oaklander Gorgeous rooms, a beautiful rooftop bar and steps from many great restaurants My only gripe is the staff is 50/50 here

Sometimes you get super friendly people and other times they have been very standoffish but the rooms and views keep me coming back! Super friendly valet staff too!

Great location Very quiet Loved how close access to the Parkway 376 East, and also the three rivers heritage trail

I ran that trail several times, it’s amazing Good shops and restaurants across the Hot Metal Bridge on the south side But the service at this hotel was terrible No room service available at all If you needed anything you had to go to the front desk to get it Room cleaned? Not without 24 hour notice And often the front desk would report they couldn’t do anything because, “they were understaffed and the only staff in the building” yet it was early evening Strange No continental breakfast, although it stated that on the website If you wanted breakfast it was $16 a person for a buffet I only ever saw one customer in there For good reason I rarely give bad reviews, but this was not a fun stay overall and I would never recommend this hotel to anyone Parking was $20 extra per night And you had to pay that, there’s no place else to park at all The staff just wasn’t interested in even attempting to be polite I know things are bad in a post COVID economy and there are help wanted signs everywhere in Pittsburgh, but a smile is free and easy Disappointed

Liljana Cvetkovska

Worth booking this hotel even though it is close by to a busy road Very pleasantly surprised by the interior and the history pieces in the lobby area, nice back patio with large gas fire pit and sitting sectionals On the 6th level, there is another larger patio /terrace with tables and chairs with a nice view

The hotel room we stayed in was very nice too This hotel provides a free shuttle within a three mile radius; best thing ever not to worry about driving around and looking for parking Last but mot least, it is a dog friendly hotel

R Cameo

The metalworks theme is charmingly done, along with the friendly staff and convenient location The rooms were clean and modern, if a bit worn around the edges Their Dog friendly policy was much appreciated, and our stay went without incident

Provided soaps and sundries are truly for emergencies only I would like to see an outdoor ashtray for staff It would help clean up the side entrance from the parking lot
