Room is large and spacious Everything is clean Bed is comfy

Laundry can be busy at certain times and they could stand to have another washer and dryer My only complaint is all the people that like to smoke right outside the entrance doors even though there is a sign saying not too I wish that Hilton would bring back the deeper discount for nurses Overall a great stay!!

Newer hotel so rooms and amenities are nice However, we had a bad experience with our room First, we arrived after 4pm and there were a dozen or so people waiting in the lobby because rooms were not ready

Check-in is at 3pm so they were already running behind schedule to get people in their rooms Second, the room type we reserved was not available so they had to switch us to a studio We were travelling with 2 small children so not having the suite was a huge inconvenience On top these 2 failures, the staff was unapologetic They blamed the booking sites and say they can’t guarantee any room type I call BS on that and will be investigating to see if we are owed any sort of refund for not getting the room type we booked

Very nice with the modern edge and a Hilton spin I kind of wish they put out a little bit more of a selection for breakfast in the morning It’s still stripped down to minimalist COVID mode

A few different kinds of things would be niceAlso, how am I supposed to treat my Vitamin D deficiency if there are no donuts? Is there a doctor in the house?

Established in the 18th century, Boonsboro is a tiny town in the Northwest corner of Maryland Upon arrival, you’re a minute from a busy Main Street that is so small and quaint, you’d miss it if you blinkedThe rooms are EXQUISITE, upscale luxury, intimate and magical all at once

Fresh flowers grace every room of the Inn Giant poster beds, deep, gorgeous copper tubs, the most beautiful tile work I’ve ever seen, a bathroom literally fit for a Queen (Bidets in every bathroom, people!) The rooms have custom scents and are designed for the time period their characters took place in Celtic music plays quietly in the background giving the elegant but somehow still homie dining room an ethereal feel Complimentary baked goodies fill baskets on the server, equipped with coffee and loose tea mixesBreakfast is served a course at a time by a Chef who sings while she cooks and bakes in the open, inviting kitchen (right out of Nora’s books, I swear) There are fireplaces in each room, whisky decanters waiting to be sipped, complimentary wine and charcuterie each evening, covered porches, a gorgeous courtyard and did I mention the LIBRARY?! The Innkeeper and staff treated us like family and we had free range to explore and experience nearly the entire houseThe three story home has had many “lives” as it stood waiting while war waged through the area in centuries past It feels alive with secrets and charm and of course has a lingering spirit to keep watch and appear at her whim, leaving the distinct scent of honeysuckle in her wakeNora’s Inn Boonsboro trilogy details much of the actual work and features a lot of the thought and methodology involved in the construction, furnishing and decorating of the Inn I read them years ago, but having all those intimate details in the back of your mind as you experience this place for yourself is absolutely thrilling If you’re a Nora fan, who has read as many of her novels as I have, you see her mark in every little detailMy weekend surprise was made even more special when the books, (which are inspired not only by the real life Inn, but Nora’s family-owned pizzeria, bookstore, gift shop and gym) SIGNED BY NORA, were delivered by the Innkeeper soon after we arrivedOur room, “Jane & Rochester” from Charlotte Bronte’s “Jane Eyre,” boasted a hand carved mahogany four poster bed, a beautiful brick fireplace adorned with the most romantic period painting, Nora’s own Grandmother’s handmade doilies framed on the wall, the coziest upholstered chaise, and the most amazing bathroom I have ever seen (Heated floors and towel rack, anyone?) In addition to the signed trilogy, my gifts included a full sized set of all the handmade soaps, lotions etc, handcrafted by a local artist, and customized with the scent of our room Another gift bag included locally made wine to take home, with a pair of Inn Boonsboro stemmed glasses and 3:00 massage for the next dayWe perused through Turn The Page, bought keepsakes at the Gift shop/art gallery, posed with cardboard Nora, read for long hours wrapped in cashmere throws and floor length bathrobes, drank beer at the pub next door (they had gluten free stout!), sipped wine by the fire, soaked in the most wonderful tub I’ve ever seen, and played a mean game of scrabble in the pub-style lounge ‘til midnight We dined on delectable authentic German fare at the nearby Bavarian Inn and cuddled close to watch the black and white classic Jane Eyre as we fell asleep It was a getaway I will NEVER forget! I feel so very loved and pampered The visit exceeded my wildest dreams! The only thing that could have made it more memorable was to have bumped into Nora, herself I have to say, meeting and mingling with some of her closest confidants (I think I met the inspiration for Coralee in the books!) was equally delightful Her staff is genuine, competent, warm and engaging It takes more than a place to build an impression, and I am truly impressed

Marisa Zimmerman

We stayed there for our wedding anniversary back in February, in the Darcy and Elizabeth room It was amazing The room and the amenities were out of this world, the food was so good, the staff was wonderful, and we couldnt get enough of it

We didnt really get to sit out on the outdoor patio since it was cold, but it was gorgeous none the less

Jessica Kidd

I loved the atmosphere It’s been a bucket list must for me for years! I’m so glad we finally went We stayed in Jane & Rochester

The bed was huge and so comfortable My other half wanted to live in it The tub and bathroom was gorgeous The toilet was a new experience for me but I secretly love it Everything was great I would of given it a five, but a few things fell short for me Nonetheless, we will be back!

Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights for a wedding weekend Terrific clean room, great service Good location

Explored charming downtown Frederick for the first time on Friday, took a Lyft Loved the town, vibe, restaurant food was outstanding, architecture, happy hours Attending a local wedding the next day in the country and it was delightful Lots of guests also stayed there Very kind and nice staff Lobby has some foods and drinks available all the time Would stay there again!

Paige Glidden

Stayed for one night and it was great We checked in using the app and exclusively used the digital key, so the only interaction with staff was in the morning when one of the staff members setting up breakfast said good morning, but that was a positive experience The room was spacious and bathroom was much nicer than I anticipated

Check in/out and accessing our room was seamless

Lesley Amy

Nice place to crash for one night after a wedding, but I wouldn’t want to stay more than one night We could hear the pipes though the walls and ceiling all night, and the AC was cold but it still felt humid I informed the front desk at checkout that the shower head in our room needed cleaning, and they immediately wrote a note to handle, and they were so nice, so I’ll give the staff an A+

Nice rooms comfortable beds but when I reserved the room I paid for the “romance package” chocolate covered strawberries wine and roses were to be waiting in our room on the bed also breakfast room service and a late check out When my wife and I arrived there was no such thing as a romance package

we did not get any of the extras I had hoped for no room service there was wine available in the lobby and the maids pounded on our door every hour like the police! Our quiet romantic evening and morning was a let down We have 5 kids and was really looking forward to a quiet morning sleeping in but it didn’t happen thanks to the maids probably won’t visit this hotel again

Shearmene Steals

The hot tub was closed, couldn’t use the gym due to the pungent sewer odor, the pool also smelled bad after being in it for 30 minutes, the computers were also not working during breakfast at the hotel the waitress was very polite and helpful as well as the dining staff however the cook did not get my orders correct He made me wait 40 minutes to recieve my breakfast after preparing food for other guest at the hotel, although I was first to order

Todd Hess

I spend 80% of my time living out of Hiltons So I know what to expectPositive:Rooms are largeHousekeeping staff does a great job

Negative:Maintenance needs in the rooms need attentionMaintenance again, the spa out of orderFront desk lady was very rude when we arrivedOne of the reasons why we chose a Garden Inn, is because they have a onsite pub when we come home in the evening we can have a drink before retiring We were told us guest we’re not allowed to have drinks because they had rented it out for a private party The manager argued that he could reduce our accommodations anytime he wanted We’re paying for something we’re not gettingI recommend you do not stay here Just stay at the Hampton, that’s the service level you get Why Pay More

The Hotel is fairly new and the furnishings and public spaces all in good condition As a former hotel manager I notice a things that many miss I think what you definitely can’t hide is the staff

I was very please to see polite, efficient people who make eye contact and can answer most questions efficiently The only thing I was disappointed about was the breakfast, having everything packaged is understandable Making my final comment is Covid related, the breakfast was due to safety as was many items in the room I will return and I fell they are handling the additional needs of the virus well

Shannon Cook

Pulled into this hotel at 5:30am, every hotel for 50 miles was sold out When I called he exclaimed that he had one room left and he would hold it for us We were greeted kindly upon arrival, he was quick and efficient to check us in and get us to bed

The room was clean, bed was comfy, we had everything that we needed When checking out the woman was sweet, the breakfast was packaged but was sufficient and the man running that was very helpful! Would stay here again!! Thank you!

Hotel was clean and room was ok Paid for a suite, but couldn’t use the balcony because of the insane amount of spiders and webs on it Pullout couch didn’t come with pillows or blankets as requested, but we survived

Worst part of this place is the “bistro” This was the only reason we picked this place The ease of traveling with children and having the restaurant right there was why we picked this place In the evening I went to get me and my wife a drink Much to the dismay of the 2 gentleman behind the bar, as I must have interrupted something more important “in the back” I had to repeat my order several times as he refused to take his ear buds out Ended up taking the hint and just calling it a nightThe next morning I guess we were hopeful the next shift would be better At least the 2 kids attempted to wait on us Me and my family were the ONLY people in this restaurant and were ignored by everyone that worked there We finally just got up and left and got breakfast elsewhere I would never stay here again and feel I should be refunded for my stay Avoid if you can!

Our daughter’s small wedding party stayed at Hollerstown Hill B & B for her wedding weekend, and Phil and Betty could not have been better hosts They really extended themselves for us, which we greatly appreciated The let us use the dining room for the pre-wedding hair and makeup on Saturday, and welcomed our wedding guests for coffee and donuts on Sunday morning

They truly went above and beyond, and were an important part of making our family’s wedding weekend as special and successful as it was My daughter said the rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast delicious and ample Thank you Phil and Betty for being such great hosts!

Victor Levi

This was an excellent b&b! The house was beautifully decorated and had all sorts of collectibles to look at The location was within walking distance to historic Fredrick and the River walk Plenty of great restuarants to choose from

The room was cozy and the bed very comfortable The owners were very friendly and helpful The homemade breakfast was quite a treatAll in all just a very nice b&bVictor & Victoria Levi

Without a doubt, the best stay I’ve had in a long time Location was close to my destination and food options I loved that breakfast was included which is not common these days

The room was big and I enjoyed the kitchen as well I did request a higher floor which I did getThe two negatives I had were there seemed to be a sports group in town They were loud while we tried to sleep and they didn’t offer housekeeping (even though I asked) I didn’t like putting my trash outside of my door or going down to the front desk and ask for sheets after I discovered a small blood stain I understand the world we live in but its one of the perks I do miss I think if you aren’t going to offer housekeeping than the least that can happen is to make sure the lines are clan and don’t have any kind of stains Overall, I would stay again and plan too

Endeavor Aerial Photography (Endeavor UAS)

This was our first stay at a TownePlace Suites As other reviews mentioned, the location is currently undergoing a renovation We did not encounter any issues related to that and it did not impact our stay at all

The room was spacious and clean The sofa bed, which we utilized because of the size of our family, was a bit disappointing and (according to my son) very uncomfortable I thought perhaps the mattress was missing, but was told that it was simply a “new design” Sometimes new is not betterThe pool was a bit disappointing and the pool itself, although not filthy, was not the cleanest we’ve encountered There was also a lack of sufficient towels Needless to say, we did not stay long at allBreakfast was decent with options for microwaved breakfast sandwiches or a pre-packaged quiche, among the typical pastries, oatmeal, and cereal The sandwiches and quiche had ingredients listed on the package, which is important for us due to some specific dietary restrictionsThe staff was very friendly and helpful, and the check-in/check-out process was a breeze

N PF

The hotel room was very nice I was greeted warmly by Alaina and Ryan They were always helpful and pleasant

Thanks for everything guys! The hotel was under renovation during our visit, but I did not hear any noise from the 4th floor The breakfast was great, but not many options, however there are plenty of places to eat nearby Room service is not available daily, but the staff was very helpful with making sure that we had any and all supplies that we needed, they took time to bring it to us within minutes of asking I will certainly return

An outstanding place! It has very unique feel with its stone walls and high ceilings everywhere Beautiful grounds with butterflies everywhere within the plantings Owners are there with attention to detail unsurpassed

Rooms vary but most are oversize and exquisitely furnished Great wedding venue too Quality is their number one concern Immediately addressed the minor issue Loved it!

Richard Sullivan

Everything about our stay was awesome The owners and staff were always available and concerned about making sure everything was perfect…and it was The place is lovely, clean and welcoming

The room we stayed in was actually on a lower level which might not be for everyone but was quiet and comfortable for us There are several incredible rooms to choose fromWe had a delicious, all prepared there in the kitchen, breakfast where we joined another group of guests for a fabulous meal If privacy is preferred there was a separate room availableAlthough we were staying just a night, the Inn provides other services including weddings and other celebrations I would not hesitate to use the venue for one of these eventsManisha and her husband and son were absolutely great Obviously I can’t say enough positive things about the place You will not be disappointed

Brian Donley

This was our first trip to Stone Manor, and it won’t be our last We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the inn, and the owners are the nicest and most courteous hosts There is an amazing breakfast in the morning, with classic items such as bacon and waffles or pancakes, as well as scones, potatoes an egg dish, yogurt, etc

Great experience! I hosted my friend’s baby shower at Springfield Manor Winery The baby shower was a huge success Everything went perfectly; the food was delicious, the drinks were great, the space was beautiful and the staff was awesome! I worked with Valerie and she was very flexible with us and made sure to have a solid back up plan in place for us in the case of inclement weather, even worked with us to make “game time” decisions right before the shower began

She even shared suggestions of how we can work the drinks and food into the shower to make it easier on us Our baby shower guests genuinely enjoyed their time there and I had a very good experienceThank you to Valerie and the whole team!

Whitney Carstetter

Came here with my lady friends yesterday The manor was beautiful outside I’m sure the inside was gorgeous but they had a wedding going on so we weren’t able to venture in

The barn was really pretty inside It was really crowded and couldn’t hear any of our conversations but the atmosphere was fun Had the cocktail flight and only liked two of the four but the Ukraine drink was delicious!!We plan to come back for the lavender festival! We definitely recommend experiencing the place if you haven’t been before

Vincent Barr

Went here with my significant other for drinks and food and left extremely satisfied! I tried two beers, but my favorite was the double scoop, which was a mango ice cream blonde Wings were pretty good as well The view is amazing! Easy to get to as well since it is right off 15

I drove 40 minutes to get there but definitely worth the drive!

Great hotel, ideal for a long-term stayOur room was spacious, with kitchenette stocked so we could do some light cooking Service was friendly and helpful

Breakfast was a highlight — they rotate some of the hot food so it’s different day to dayNice gym and pool, plus some outdoor seating with fire bit and mini basketball courtLocation is solid — right off the highway, and less than a mile from a ton of restaurants and a few grocery stores Only drawback is the sidewalk isn’t completed all the way to the nearby shopping development, so the walk there isn’t as pleasant as it could be

Joseph Soriano

I don’t think I could’ve asked for anything more The lobby was beautiful, the room had anything I needed, the service was courteous, and the breakfast was pretty goodThe pool was a decent temperature, there were many different general amenities, basketball court, outdoor patio, grills, indoor dining areas, billiards room

This hotel stay stands out in my memory
