Walking into the hotel was a breath of fresh air! The smell piped into the lobby was heavenOur room was immaculately cleaned each day, housekeeping even arranged my shoes and toiletries! The staff was personable and welcoming The bell staffed always opened the doors for us, remembered us and engaged us in conversations about our day

We had dinner in the bar twice, and the bartender and manager provided excellent service Attention was paid to the smallest details including replenishing our water glasses and filling our orders quickly The front desk people were friendly and incredibly helpful as wellI have stayed at many Loews properties, and I truly felt that this property is one of the best that I have ever stayed at!

Rachel Kim

The door and welcoming staff and front desk staff are incredible All were so personable and professional They had excellent memory, were kind and considerate, and went above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience

Rooms themselves were spacious and clean Our room had an excellent view as well as a desk, living room space, and large bed Wonderful roomsThe only criticism of my stay would be the lack of fridge in the rooms

Cristy Todd

I had a river facing room on the 20th floor which was a great view There was an umbrella in the closet for guest use which was very handy since I lost the one I brought with me The staff and housekeeping were very nice and accommodating during my stay

The hotel was within walking distance of many sites and stores which was very convenient too

I chose to stay at the Roosevelt to get a 5 star experience and it came up a bit lackingI didn’t go with the expectation to be treated like royalty or a celebrity but I just had a higher expectation of the front desk service than what you would receive at a road side motel At check-in for our week long stay in a suite we got nothing from the front desk besides a key to the room

Not even pointed to which elevator to take We felt like we were bothering him just checking inService at breakfast was more of the same where we were sat at a table without a word spoken and no one came back to the table for 10 minutes And, when they did it was just to fill waters without a “you’re welcome” or acknowledgment when I said “thank you” for the refillThe hotel itself was beautiful and you could tell well taken care of The room was great as well And, having an entertaining area with a bathroom separate from the master bathroom is a nice touch for the suite Concierge and bell staff were super friendly as well Location is perfect for those who want to be in French Quarter without worrying about the constant noise of itIs it a horrible hotel? Not at allWould I pay the premium prices again for that level of service? No

Christie Carrington

A great experience at this hotel After two weeks of travel on the road, it was a welcome stay The staff were outstanding

Each one of them made efforts to smile and ensure we were taken care of When the air conditioning was not working in our room, they swiftly moved us to another room that they said was upgraded and much nicer Frankly, we preferred the first room and thought it was much nicer The breakfast cafe is lovely and the bar was great It would have been nice to have some snack food at the bar Note: The pool water was pretty scummy and looked filthy It was not a cool pool so didn’t really take the edge off the very humid and hot weather

Alyssa K

Attended a conference here and had a suite for my 3 night stay Without a doubt, this was the nicest hotel I’ve had the pleasure of staying in here in the States The food at the conference by the hotel’s catering department was consistently deciduous

Our concierge, Jasmine Montana, was a wealth of knowledge and helped me surprise a colleague for her birthday Housekeeping did a phenomenal job every day of keeping my room exceptionally clean The hotel itself is just beautiful It’ll be hard to ever stay anywhere else in New Orleans now that I’ve stayed here

Great place to stay We were here in August for 8 days We were attending a convention at another hotel

We stayed here because we wanted a kitchenette Our room was perfect for the 2 of us Spacious to get around the room Kitchenette was great They do not do housekeeping on a regular basis, you have to request it That was fine with us If we ever needed anything we just went to the front desk and they would give it to us right away like toilet paper or fresh towels Also, that part of town was very quiet I would stay here again

P Russell

Great room here The door staff are so friendly and professional! Some amenities are not available I feel the front desk is understaffed due to the line and frantic looking reception

It was odd there were no coat hangers in my room so had to have housekeeping bring me some (I could not just get a couple at the front desk) That took a while to happen There is something slightly “off” with the elevators, but not sure what The doors were either overly sensitive to bodies being close to them or they kept changing their minds about closing and starting the journeyI don’t know Excellent location! There is a trolley right outside and it is an easy walk to bourbon street and that sort of scene I had a great view from my room of old and new buildings

Brent M

We stayed here this past week on a business trip and the hotel did not disappoint The front desk staff was courteous and was able to accommodate a late checkout without any issues to help with our schedule The only downside is the fine print of the valet parking slip that says any check out after 2pm requires a $20 cash donation to the valet company to get your car back

Although this service is separate from Residence, the front desk staff went above and beyond to help resolve I would recommend staying here solely for the customer service, even though the hotel itself is very nice

Beautiful accommodations, bar & pool area Stellar, personalized & fast service – every staff member we interacted with (including Kevin & Jeffrey) was kind & thoughtful Also loved the welcome king cake & constant communication from staff prior to a d during our stay

I wish my actual bedroom at home was as lush as our room was – the French doors, high ceilings & beautiful vanity area were highlights Great location as well We will definitely recommend NOPSI to others

Jon

Absolutely loved our stay here The place is beautiful, room was ample (huge bathroom) and we felt like we were experiencing a real piece of New Orleans history The pool and bar were amazing and we spent as much time up there as we could

Above all else was the service – the drinks and the local recommendations made the trip! Thanks to Benny, Kevin, Tara, Paul and David (for the amazing Rasberry Gin Fizz!) Everyone was so great, including Maria, who kept the pool area clean and always had a smile Wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else when we come back

Not recommended! Poor communication, rude service, and the gym is NOT free We stayed here for 4 nights during a conference Beforehand, I called to confirm our booking and the agent canceled one of our nights without being asked to do so

It took several call-center managers and 90 minutes on the phone to get it back Upon arrival, the check-in clerk was unfriendly and difficult to understand in the loud space Housekeeping never showed up even though we requested it at check-in Their website doesn’t explain that the fitness room costs $12 per day unless you’re a upper-level Honors member (not the free, basic membership), and they didn’t tell us that until after we’d gotten up early and trudged all the way up and down elevators and across the hotel Then they still didn’t tell us they can’t accept cash for gym accessand by that point, we didn’t have time to work out anyway Our room was decent, except for the loud bathroom fan that ran constantly, even with the light off The river view was nice, but the staff was just rude, rude, rude They really need to learn to communicate accurate information with guests and other staff I definitely wouldn’t come back The Intercontinental half a mile up the street was fabulous — go there instead

Kinlaww6

This is an awesome hotel Customer service was number one From the moment of our arrival until our departure, every aspect of our stay was excellent

As busy as everyone was, I was made to feel like my family and I were the only ones that matter Our stay was made to feel personalized The food was delicious and of course loving the connection from the hotel to the River Walk shopping center This is my third trip to New Orleans and this is the only hotel that I will stay in The river view each morning was breathtaking I can’t wait for my next visit

michelle jones

The city view is amazing! We stayed on the 21st floor the room has floor to ceiling window wall that just captivates with the New Orleans city lights at night! Just stunning! We ordered room service and it was delicious the seafood pasta, Cajun baked catch was amazing enough for two with each order, comes with everything you could want! The prices are commensurate with local restaurants so was surprised with pricing not being overly expensive for Hotel room service! The valet guys are very courteous and prompt! Overall excellent service and amenities! I give it A++! I will only stay here from now on when visiting New Orleans!

Trisha Rose

Beautiful hotel! We really loved our stay here Some complained in the reviews about the noise but I sleep with the TV or music on, so I couldn’t hear it The courtyard was very pretty too

There is a beautiful bar next door that attaches to the courtyard This hotel is close to everything you want to do in the French quarter I loved the robes and slippers! The bed is a bit too far away from the TV, which if you have a hard time seeing , may be difficult to see the guide I thought the bathroom was very nice The floor will get wet with the shower, so put a towel down! Would stay here again!! Highly recommended Thank you for a great stay!

Kathy Kincaid

The staff is friendly and helpful We asked for extra pillows and they brought them to our room in no time at all The room was similar to what’s shown on the website

I loved the bathrobe and slippers! The slippers is must! The elevator is a little tricky with the key, but you get after a few tries The only complaint is the tiny fridge and no microwave If it had those I’d give five stars It’s not too far away from Bourbon street, but gar away to cut out the noise I’d stay again Soft beds and wonderful pillows Love the step up closet, great nooks and crannies to store stuff out of the way

Allison Umansky

Husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon and had a FANTASTIC trip! The staff was so accommodating and made sure we were enjoying our stay The breakfast in the courtyard was so yummy and the staff was accommodating and very kind The proximity to bourbon street and the rest of French quarter, as well as easy access to the street cars, meant we could explore the city with ease

Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to all!

Our stay was okay Our first night checking in was good The gentleman who helped us check in was fast and efficient

However, we felt really rushed getting our stuff out of our vehicle They only have valet parking which is $40 a night and they don’t validate which was a frustrating unexpected expense They take your luggage to your room for you so make sure to bring smaller bills for tipping We left so many things in our vehicle we had to go back down about 4 different times because of feeling rushed The rooms were beautiful but small Beds were comfortable There is no refrigerator in the room which was frustrating Our toilet wasn’t secured to the floor so if you turned while seated it tipped and since it wasn’t secure it leaked water on the floor Overall an okay experience I don’t think we’ll stay here again though

Melissa Knight

The hotel is centrally located It’s a block from Bourbon ST and the green line street car is just a few feet away The hotel service was great

They made it so easy to check our bags and make the most of our time in the city They accommodated late check out too We had a river view and a great view of the city The room is showing some age but super clean The bed was very comfortable

C C

Probably one of the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept on, especially for a hotel! The room was also clean, which we appreciated The hotel staff was also really friendly! The room was a bit dated (peeling, chipping, etc) and like some of the other reviews said, the lobby has a pretty strong funky smell when you first walk into the hotel

However, given the room cleanliness and how comfortable the bed was…absolutely worth it considering the price This hotel ended up being a couple hundred dollars cheaper than anything else I could find for the same dates!Lastly…location It is SO convenient for French Quarter/Bourbon street walking, so that was great, but there are definitely a ton of vagrants around, many of whom were pretty aggressive with asking for money (one even went up to an elderly lady and acted like he was trying to dance on her) right outside of the hotel We watched someone steal a cart full of items from the next door Walgreens The French Quarter/Bourbon Street definitely seems to have this issue widespread, but it felt especially rough on this street I’m glad I was traveling with my boyfriend, as I would’ve never felt comfortable at this hotel aloneOverall, we would consider staying here again!

I really enjoyed my stay at the hotel Bentley This is a historic hotel so if you want that modern feel this is not for you If you enjoy the splendor and elegance of times gone by then this hotel is for you

The ceilings and architecture had me walking with my head on a swivel They have some historical mementos on display and you can read up on the hotels history My bed was clean and super comfortable and that is usually the hardest thing for me to say TV, mini fridge and bathroom all were working Not the most updated but who really cares about that? It was a quiet and comfortable room The only reason I took one star away was disappointment with the front desk During my check in the maintenance/ cleaning man was complaining about having to clean more rooms I felt it was inappropriate to have this conversation in front of customers but also the front desk person was listening to him and making ME wait As the customer I was quite surprised at her lack of awareness regarding good customer service I will say that during the rest of my stay the cleaning person and front desk were kind and attentive

Destiny Hollis

When I originally booked this hotel, I wasn’t aware that it is a historical hotel (Which is awesome!) The hotel featured lovely displays of historical items but sadly we didn’t have time to explore The room was very clean and the beds were super comfy! The location was very convenient as we were in town to visit The Pentecostals of Alexandria

Will definitely stay here when we visit again! 🙂

Rachel Frazier

The sweetest southern boutique hotel!! I am a hard woman to please but let me tell you, I am so pleased by this entire experience!!! We arrived around 10 pm and after entering the beautiful front entry the sweetest man at front desk checked me in, gave me my key and guided me to where I needed to be! I had to run down for medication in the car and he offered me extra pillows but when he came back he had toiletries, extra towels and offered to help me upstairs I am so so impressed in this crazy world the kindness! The bed are a bit firm but comfortable for a hotel, mini fridg/coffee area in the room is nice to have! The hotel is beautiful if you are looking for the older historic feel, it is not updated to be modern but is very classic and beautiful! It’s a fun place to stay, we have small kids and it is so inviting! Vending, tea and coffee downstairs, lounge area and so many incredible touches We will certainly be back to stay when we are this way! Such a great experience!

Room 718 I’m convinced has mold or some other allergen My sister and I stayed 5 nights On the second night it was so bad we could not breathe

The front desk moved us to room 709 which had an air purifier It was better but still bad Bellmen, valet, front desk staff were very nice The location was great and the hotel looks very nice 50$ nightly for incidentals 10$ nightly for a preservation fee (please read the fine print) If they are charging to preserve the building they could do a better job Overall, I would not stay here again The air quality in those rooms are horrible Been to many hotels in my travels and this is something I’ve never experienced

Absolutely wonderful experience! Stayed for just one night but in that short time was treated the best I have ever been at a hotel Everyone was extremely courteous and helpful Made it seems as it was a pleasure to do their job to make make my experience as comfortable and positive as possible

The men and women of the valet especially were great and welcoming Hotel is beautifully decorated and elegant Room and bathroom were clean and nicely decorated as well Would stay here again given experience and location

So, I first went to Le Pavilion over 10 years ago – it was beautiful (and still is in some ways) in an old world sort of way The lobby is glorious, and the rooms felt old and lived in and early America It’s a haunted hotel, although I’m sad I haven’t seen a ghost

It may be because about 5 or so years ago they renovated all the rooms, modernizing and sanitizing them, and they lost that old world charm It’s sort of sad that it feels like a Holiday Inn now The lobby is still spectacular, but the rooms are bland Sadly the pool was closed while we were there, and the front desk wasn’t very friendly We inquired when we checked in about a military discount because it wasn’t available to select when we booked, but then the person at the front desk said that we needed to do that when we booked – well, then I guess you don’t give a military discount since it’s not possible to get it Let’s just leave it at that, shall we? Nonetheless, I had some wonderful experiences in the past at Le Pavilion, including the fruit basket in my room the 2nd time I went back that had a card that read “Welcome Back, Mr Meek” I still remember that little gesture, and it still makes me smile But that was then, and I don’t think we’ll be staying at Le Pavilion anymore It’s not the same, although I will miss the PB&J happy hour, which is a nice holdover from before all the renovations

Had a great experience at Hotel Monteleone The rooms were spacious and very clean The interior was very charming

Rooms weren’t cleaned everyday but they did stop by and asked us if we needed anything I don’t know if it was a nightly thing but they came by for a turn down and left us some new robes and chocolates on the bed I thought that was cute! It was my wife’s birthday and they dropped off a bottle of iced champagne so we were able to enjoy that as well! There was a doorman, I wish I knew his name that was so sweet and kind and really worked those doors well without missing a beat I feel the hotel was in a great location and was in walking distance of most places we went to The carousel bar was very neat and so was the rooftop pool Staff was always so kind I would definitely stay here again in the future!

I’ve been coming here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you for sure won’t be disappointedMy wife and I enjoyed a night here and wished we could have spent more time in this luxury hotel Located a block away from Bourbon street, it made for an easy visit to the French quarter We were able to see a lot of the area for our short stay The room was luxurious with a comfy bed and soft linen The Carousel bar made for a perfect spot to start and end the night with tasty cocktails and live music We will definitely stay here again if we find ourselves in New Orleans again

I was so excited to stay here I was unfortunately disappointed with my stay Let me start with the positives though

Great location, amazing valet service and the staff were mostly very nice Henry helped us with our bags and was incredibly professional! The cleaning people also did a great jobThe room was a lot smaller than I’d imagined for the price and it was SO hot no matter how low we put the A/C We were miserable The bed always felt moist and sticky I was so uncomfortable The pool was nice but it was so small and cramped Honestly, I was expecting more I read the other reviews and didn’t get the same great experience as others I would probably stay somewhere else next visit

Room was spectacular only stayed a night but man what a view of the river, can’t beat it And the fact it’s convenient you can pretty much walk anywhere to get to where you need to be Comfortable room and great views

It’s hard to beat Definitely recommend staying here The brunch on Sunday was on point with an omelette bar and bottomless mimosas and build your own bloody Mary

alexis larkin

nice hotel and great location! love that it is in walking distance of several nice restaurantsfor the price we paid, i would’ve expected the bathroom to be cleaner (the shower was dirty when we arrived with hair on the tiles) and the valet to be quicker! took 30 minutes to get my car the other day

Location is good Hotel rooms need some work and are very run down One of the elevators shakes while ascending, while the other is missing a button

Lights in the room look like they’ve been hit with a hammer Toilet looks like it is about 50 years old with dark water marks in the bowl (and it runs from time to time) Mini fridge is randomly placed in a rundown cabinet with the door ripped off Other furniture is missing knobs and has touch up paint that doesn’t match The doors do not block any sound, so the rooms can be very noisy depending on where you are in the hotel I’ve been debating about cutting my loses and just going else where for the night I definitely won’t be coming back to this location in the future

Beautiful hotel with so much history The area is great to walk around My baby needed to be walked at night to fall asleep and I felt completely safe waking with just him and my daughter

The bar appetizers are delicious I do wish they would’ve offered room service but that wasn’t a big deal I recommend getting coffee from St John’s coffeehouse right on the corner and enjoying it by the outdoor fountain!

These people will steal anything you leave at their hotel! Management is not helpful at all they gave me the run around for three days Nothing in the room worked!! What am i paying all this money for! The worst part was that i took my own trash out of my room i seperated the dirty towels, cleaned the shower because they don’t do that ( the previous room users body hair was everywhere) and i left a thankyou note for housekeeping and they still stole my things Sad

Disgraceful Never coming back by choice

From the moment we pulled into the front entrance until we drove away, this hotel was an amazing experience!!! All of the staff were warm, friendly, and extremely professional Our beautiful Superior City-View Room was clean, spacious, had a modern design and a beautiful view of the pool and the Mississippi River We soon realized we needed a refrigerator in our room

They have a tablet at the bedside that guest can use to request anything from room service to shampoo We requested a refrigerator on the tablet and it was delivered in 17 minutes! There were buttons on the wall beside the bed that controlled the lights in the room and even the curtains that opened remotely The Vue Orleans above the hotel was an amazing way to experience the history and charm of New Orleans I am not a fan of the city of New Orleans but this hotel may have changed my mind about visiting again Thank you Four Seasons for making our trip to New Orleans one that we will never forget! ❤️🙏🏾😁

We’re in the middle of our stay; a perfect time to share our perfectly pleasant stay here at the Four Seasons It is my first-ever Four Seasons stay and I’m so glad we’re here While I’m an Ambassador with Marriott and extremely loyal; I think I have a new go-to for vacation hotels

The Four Seasons is an island of respite in New Orleans It’s fresh, bright, airy and clean The pool is an oasis, the bars top notch and the service, first class I’m sure the rest of our visit will be nothing but excellent!

Good afternoon, my son and daughter in law treated me to a night at your hotel They were so excited to share the experience they had the previous weekend To my disappointment my experience was very disappointing

My daughter and I arrived for our 3pm reservation at 3, however we did not get our room until 6pm It would have been much longer had we not complained The management in the lounge area were so wonderful He went got us in a room and made sure we got our luggage by bringing it to us We didn’t get to do anything we had planned for that evening which included dinner in one of the hotel restaurant We were given a late check out but that’s not what I wanted I just wanted to get in my room at a reasonable time do some shopping, enjoy dinner and enjoy the hotel But none of that happen We were to tired from waiting 3 hours and my daughter in law had several glasses of wine in the lounge I need that get a way so badly due to dealing with a lot of stress but it ended up very stressful as well
