Great hotel Kept the nostalgic feel to the building and lobby, but the rooms are very modern and spacious Super clean

Loved the wide hallways and common areas to hang out with other folks you’re traveling with (thoughbwe weren’t) Free pool table got some use, and the bar downstairs was a great atmosphere and reasonable pricesAcross the street from “The Garage” and “Pins” which were great food, beer and entertainment Popular hang out spot for the 20’s-30’s crowd

This gem of a hotel is a must-stay when in Indianapolis! I stayed here last week on a very quick business trip and fell in love with it- the professional and personalized service, cleanliness, the size and the room decor all combined made for a perfect home-away-from homeI loved the way they turned this historic building into an amazing Art Deco space The attention to detail from the red lacquer doors to the rock n roll artwork to the marble bathrooms…and gold pens all set the tone for a comfortable and chic hotel stay

The old school photo booth was so nostalgic and such an added bonusI couldn’t wait to tell all my friends and family about it I am already planning my next trip to Indy!

By far the premier hotel choice in the Circle City!Phenomenal in every way The absolute epitome of modern luxuryBeautiful historic renovation of the Coca Cola bottling plant and located in one of my favorite parts of the city – Mass Ave

Ground floor and lobby have a very historic and elegant feel Dark wood and original tiling are contrasted with the dark and modern guest room floors with wide hallways, creative and functional lounge spaces and eye catching bright red doors Modern, elegant and just downright sexyGuest rooms were breathtaking Every detail carefully thought out and crafted If you have the ability to splurge for a room with a terrace – DO IT You will not regret it I stayed here for three nights and was so sad to leaveAs far as comparison, this hotel would compete with properties like: Conrad, JW, Le Meridian, Iron Works or Hotel Carmichael I’ve stayed in 3 of those and this would beat them by a long run any day of the weekElegant & modern luxury without the stuffy, sterile, up-tight vibeI couldn’t recommend it more…if you were on the fence, your decision just got easier! Do it!

I had a three night stay for work and it was nothing less than a great stay! Felicia at the front desk welcomed me with a great smile (working on her birthday I might add) She was extremely helpful, accommodating, and made sure I had everything needed and taken care of before went up to my room The room was very nice and comfy, my house keeping request was fulfilled quickly and the restaurant/wine bar was a nice added touch

Lori Sherman

The customer service at this Marriott was excellent There was a large teenage sports group staying at the hotel on the night we arrived After traveling for 3 days, we really wanted some peace and quiet

The front desk agent, Jelicia, was able to put us in a first floor room in another wing so we could get a goods night sleep! The first floor room even had sliding glass door so we had easy access to our car and luggage We will definitely be booking this location on our trip back home this summer!

Adrienne Jones

The facility is older, but clean and had nice updates on the rooms The location is very convenient to downtown and medical Staff was great at check-in, but we couldn’t find staff at very early morning checkout

Hilariously, someone has lost an analog watch or clock behind the nightstand or under the bed nearest the bathroom in room 206 It’ll probably take moving furniture to find it (I looked with a flashlight and found nothing), but there’s a faint, not unpleasant, ticking you can hear in that bed

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your stay This site will compare thousands of hotel sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper than others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the most well known in the area

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you will love it I’m sure!We stayed in one of the blue train cars Yesthey have some rooms inside train cars! It’s very cool and I definitely recommend it for the experience The room is long and narrow, but spacious The steps to get up into the car are a bit steep, but there are rails to help The room has a mini fridge and a Keurig The hotel has neat architecture with the steel beams and stuff from its old depot days We would stay here again, for sure

Reed Fabek

Great location and very unique ambiance The building was previously a train station, has lots of exposed ironwork, a central atrium with a glass ceiling, and train cars which have been converted to guest suites It’s immediately adjacent to the convention center and stadium

There’s an indoor connection to both to keep you out of the weather The rooms are relatively spacious, but definitely comfortable

Patricia Wilson

I thought the hotel was an extremely cool experience It was one of the more unique hotels I’ve ever stayed in The rooms were clean

It was in a good location I thought the check-in and check out went fine There was parking directly across the street There was a refrigerator in the room and a Keurig which I appreciate Beds and pillows were comfortable I have no complaints at all

The only reason I gave this beautiful hotel a 4 star rating is because the beds are not very comfortable compared to a lot of hotels I’ve stayed at, and payed less The pillows go completely flat when you lay your head on them They are feather pillows but they are the worst feather pillows I’ve ever slept on

The last think I was say is the bedding is just pretty starchy It’s not at all soft like most hotel beds It was rough Basically, the sleeping experience was not impressive If you value your sleep I would go somewhere else Truly Shower is great, customer service is wonderful, the hotel lounge makes terrific drinks It’s a very nice hotel My husband and I didn’t sleep so well though No big dealjust nice to know before you pay that much to stay somewhere! Take your own pillows at least

I stayed here for a corporate conference and loved every minute of my stay The massive team was there every step of the way to make sure my amenities arrived in my room, the food was delicious, the service was handled with smiles on all faces, etc The new renovations are stunning

I never saw it before they were done but the hotel is gorgeous now! The beds are incredibly comfy and the rooms are beautiful! Thanks for a great stay!

I was just here to support a long time friend She was the keynote for Fast Signs Sales Conference The conference room was spectacular and the refreshments looked amazing

The sound system, lighting and stage were phenomenal Definitely a great place to host any event Parking was well lighted and felt safe $45 for two hours well that might be a tad much!Respectfully,Ambassador Dr Angela J Nealy, BS, MS, PhD

The facility was clean and staff friendly My stay was 5 days The day my shower was room temperature, at best

The next day I was moved to another room I tested the water before moving and it was OK In the morning the shower was only lukewarm The water was lukewarm the rest of my stay Apparently they got a new water heater the same day I checked in They offered apologies and some extra points Not good enough

Cashback Vagrants

I’m a Hilton Diamond member I stayed here for 1 night from Feb 18 – 19 The hot tub was dirty

The color of the water was green I selected to receive $10 food credit (stayed with a friend, so total of $20) The receipt i could download from the app or web site is totally different from the one they sent me They gave me a courtesy credit, but I was accused of me doing something wrong rather than something else is going with their system I have to assume that this property is playing a game like some Marriott properties In their new receipt, it said I arrived at 9:42:00AM, which is in correct I did not check in ’til 5:30PM The Google timeliness clearly shows thatDo not trust this property and make sure you go through your receipt as soon as possible

Joe Newport

An overall great stay Good parking in an area that felt safe along with very close access to the interstate and access to local restaurants Clean facility with friendly staff

The app that allows you to pick your room with contactless check in is also quite nice However the app did not control access to the pool area requiring a keycard be made to gain access The pool area was very nice and felt private with adequate supply of towels and seating but the water could have been clearer and the air temp in the room was a bit high Again, overall a great stay with minor areas for improvement

Had a GREAT stay Super friendly and accommodating front desk staff, good breakfast and loved my room The fitness center was perfect, clean and everything worked(often not the case!)

I was sad I forgot my bathing suit- the pool looked greatI was in town on business for a few days and felt very comfortable traveling alone and walking over to the Marriott for dinner each night

Monica Schuller

We booked the King Spa, and the spa tub was the best part of the room A nice double size jacuzzi tub But, the beds were not comfortable at all

There was trash on the floor and dirty marks on a chair We also did not utilize the pool as it also looked to be unclean, with a film on top of the water The breakfast was decent, but only one waffle maker, which caused for long wait times The employees were nice, but I would not rebook and pay the expensive price for the low quality cleanliness and comfort

Janice Martin

Room was a spacious suite but showing its age in some ways Problem we had was ants in the coffee station/mini fridge area–which had no light source by the way The only remedy offered was to spray but we wouldn’t have been able to sleep there! They could have gotten ant traps easily but refused

No hooks in the shower area to keep towel handy and shower curtain was 1 foot above the shower base so water everywherePros: very nice lobby area and extensive breakfast choicesUnfortunately, one ice machine on only 3rd floor

Our visit was amazing! Troy greeted us at the front desk with a smile and was so nice! He gave us a room with a spectacular view of downtown The room was spacious and clean All of the staff were nice and polite

The hotel’s location is perfect for walking around the downtown area We are looking forward to the next time we visit Indy and will definitely be staying here again

Nelly Andrews

Stayed here for 4 nights with family Excellent hotel! Very nice to have the complimentary hot breakfast and complimentary evening reception But, don’t expect much in terms of drinks and snacks at night – just basic items

It’s a complimentary reception though so nothing to complain about Our suite was clean and very spacious The sofa bed wasn’t very comfortable but not many sofa beds will be The staff was great Other reviews mentioned a small pool, but it’s really not that bad and the water is quite warm For a downtown hotel, the pool is perfect Other reviews mention no housekeeping but it says this on their website and they make you aware at checkin also – if you need something, just ask and they are quick to bring it to your room This location is AWESOME! So easy to walk to many restaurants, bars, and attractions The parking garage has some tight turns so don’t bring a large vehicle in to park if you can help it Other reviews were surprised by the parking charge but it’s clearly listed on their website and it’s in the middle of downtown so it really shouldn’t be a surprise that there’s a cost to park I would definitely stay here again

Summer D

Place was clean and bed was comfortable! Great location walking distance to most all the good restaurants and mall The only issue was A/C wasn’t keeping room cool at all We only stayed one night

We let staff know and they assured us it would be taken care of asap We weren’t there ok g we ought to know if they actually did but overall a nice hotel!

Room was a king corner Not a bad room overall, but the cracks in the ceiling and the noisy windows were bothersome Horrible selection of TV for when in the room trying to unwind

Room service only happened on 1 of the three mornings we stayed Over all the facility was clean but their parking garage is atrocious and felt completely unsafe to be in as the majority of the cement is cracking and falling from the ceilings On to the restaurant, horrible food Nothing was good, it passed as edible, but so do bugs and most people choose not to eat those The breakfast buffet is a complete joke The pancakes were soggy and broke apart when attempting to take them, the “fresh fruit” was freshly thawed, the eggs were rubber, the toaster maybe has one element that heats up so it was just bread, the coffee tasted like it was made last month and reheated just for you that day For the price they charge for it, you could easily go to a real restaurant and get 2 meals for the cost of 1 Just because it’s all you can eat doesn’t mean you will leave full unless you are hard up for a meal Avoid the food at this hotel if at all possible

Phoenix

Hotel room was disgusting! Multiple stains found throughout the furniture, hair everywhere, mold or something black on the bed frame Bathroom shower did not drain so you had to shower in a puddle The rooms and hallways were dated and in need of desperate repair and reservation

Do not book this hotel if you value you cleanlinessI cancelled my reservation after one night I travel often and this was by far the most disgusting hotel I ever stayed atPositive note Location is great Front desk staff were nice Front desk staff receive 5 Stars !

Jessy Stidham

I thought the place was nice I had read bad reviews so was a little worried because I used a 3rd party booking service where you don’t know what hotel you get until after you pay But we had an amazing view, the beds were so comfortable, staff was nice

The only downside was the parking fee but almost every place I’ve stayed downtown Indy has a rather large parking fee so I was expecting it Plus it allowed you to come in and out of the hotel from the floor you’re parked on in the garage so it saved a lot of trouble carrying everything in and out I think it was probably the best stay I’ve had at any of the hotels in that area

This historical hotel is beautiful and unique The lobby, halls and our room was clean and smelled wonderful That may seem like an odd thing to rave about, but how many times have you stay in a hotel that smells musty or “old” or just dingy? For an old hotel, I assumed it would have that all light funk smells, but I was happily surprised! The location was perfect for downtown

I will agree that the room was small, but I did like the larger bathroom with walk in shower We only stayed one night so we didn’t need much floor space Downtown Indy was very loud and noisy the Saturday night we stayed and there were times we could hear loud music from motorcycles and cars from the street on the 8th floor, but not the usual car and people traffic noise Overall, this hotel did not disappoint

Vera D.

We stayed here for GenCon and really loved the service (they let us check in early after a red eye), breakfast on site (great value for the meal), and location I loved the premium toiletries and it was cozy enough that we were able to use the elevator without much of a wait It was also next door to St Elmo’s and within walking distance of everything we needed

Would stay here again!!

Fabulous Staff and equally amazing property This is one of the best Marriott properties I have ever been when I visited my brother The staff led by the Manager Cassie were truly outstanding

I could witness the cleanliness, room size and the speed of service were all above par The check out process for my brother visiting from abroad has some complexities by the way it was booked by the Travel Agency but Ariana at the front desk along with Cassie sorted it out without breaking a sweat and with a smile on their faces I was really surprised by their fantastic knowledge of the hotel reservations and professionalism under stress Way to go!

Lauren Canada

The service was excellent! Veronica was very attentive as she made sure to take care of me and my family! The other staff is very professional as well They have amenities to accommodate your whole family Also, the hotel is right of the highway and surrounded by convenient stores so you don’t have to travel far! I will definitely stay there again!!

Room was pretty big and decently clean Saw some hairs in the bathroom and there was some pretty obvious wear and tear throughout the room Just about everything you need in the kitchen

The water pressure was pretty weak in the bathroom, but great at the kitchen sink The water got nice and hot everywhere The A/C worked well I could hear people walking above and next to my room, but not terribly There was some weird clicking noise that woke me up throughout the first night I thought about switching rooms, but just turned the fan on to run all night as white noise and that helped TV responded slowly, but worked Internet was super fast A couple drawers were broken, but I didn’t need them Love the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the shower so I don’t have to bring any Plenty of towels The breakfast was okay Sometimes the hot stuff wasn’t hot They had sandwiches in sealed bags in the warmer and one was actually cold I’m sure they’re doing the best they can with limited resources My mobile key didn’t work, which was inconvenient because I hate carrying the room key that tends to get deactivated every time the wind blows

Exquisite, sleek, modern, top-notch, premium hotel in the center of Indianapolis! I’ve now visited this hotel twice and experienced excellent service and enjoyable stays The hotel is a beautiful, atrium high-rise hotel Although I’m not sure of the hotels age, it appears to be fairly new

The hotel lobby and adjacent common areas, as well as my guestrooms are immaculate! My guestroom was average in size and included two comfortable double beds, mini refrigerator and modern furnishings The bath was slightly larger than average with a upgraded vanity and amenities Although I didn’t need a room safe nor microwave, my guestroom did not include these amenities The hotel is literally located in the city center, surrounded by countless shopping, restaurant and entertainment possibilities My brief interaction with staff associates was always very pleasant You simply can’t go wrong with the Hyatt brand! I’ve never had any negative issues nor experiences with Hyatt This fabulous hotel and its numerous amenities certainly upholds the quality, pleasant, comfortable experience I expect and eagerly anticipate from the Hyatt Brand The Hyatt Regency Indianapolis receives my highest recommendation!! Thanks to the polite, professional staff associates for a pleasant, peaceful visit!

I have been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t be let downThis is a great hotel within the brand The staff are really friendly and the restaurant options are great I highly recommend checking out the Eagles Nest restaurant on the top floor of the hotel The restaurant rotates and provides one of the best views in the city Parking was a bit overpriced, but if that’s my only complaint, you know it’s a great hotel

Jonathan Bass

Great hotel, great staff from valet’s to front desk to restaurants I did not see housekeeping, but rooms were clean and in good conditionThe Regency Lounge is still closed, but I understand it’s not the right time yet with shortened staff, reduced travelers, and food out in the open isn’t the best

However, it would be nice if they were still accessible You need a key card to get in, and if there’s reduced travelers why not allow them to use as a hang out lounge and just have a mini fridge with bottled water / soda?Tip: Check out Eagle’s Nest! Sadly the room service options for dinner are quite bad I feel I’d have been very happy with the food if I knew of Eagle’s Nest, but I did not until the next morning Dinner room service I’d want to say tasted like microwaved food, but the funny thing is I drove here and actually had to have a microwaved gas station overnight breakfast on the way and that tasted better Breakfast down at the room service restaurant also wasn’t good on Thursday, but it’s not the staff’s fault, so the location still gets 5 stars Friday morning a lady returned her pancakes saying they were too fluffy or something I believe the chief’s name is Martin, as I heard him being told about the issue I’d like to compliment him on my Eggs Benedict It was perfect and I’m guessing he couldn’t have been the same cook from Thursday as it was much better!

Visit 6/17/22This hotel isn’t clearly marked where to go, signs are misleading making you think you need to pull into the parking garageYou do not! Keep going past parking garageGold status gets you two free bottles of generic branded water and a child’s pack of cookies

Good thing you have the membershipThe hotel appeared nice but it was dirty, the carpet along the tile was coming up The tile near the elevators was also crackingThe room was clean enough; it had a full kitchenthe chair had stains on the Cushions, along with the bedding comforter having stains which appeared to look like dried bloodThe bed sheets were clean, the shower and toilet is separate from the sink, the handle to the door was looseThe floor was okay cleaned but appeared the housekeeper was rushingThis place was worth the stay as it was free but I wouldn’t pay money to sleep hereThe morning breakfast was normal contemporary but they didn’t have oatmeal The gravy was horrible! The best food was the waffle we cooked for ourselvesThis place could use new management, one who cares about quality and cleanliness However I wouldn’t expect anything better than what we got from a Hilton!

Sandra Yatsko

Our shower didn’t work properly, there was no dish soap or hand soap in our kitchenette – so if washing hands you had to get the bar of soap from the bathroom, we had less than half a roll of paper towels and no extra rolls of toilet paper for a family of four I realize everyone is on a budget these days, but the room didn’t have a budget discount Having to ask for everything was a hassle

The staff was friendly and the location was nice, but I would probably pick a different hotel next time I’m in Indy

Chalk Jared up for promotion too Thank you for the great stay and customer relation experienceOriginal review July 31, 2022The great – staff is wonderful “Vinson” goes above and beyond He helped us get acquainted with the hotel and gave us a brief tour of the facility, and told us about the historical significance of the locationThe hotel is combined with Hampton Hampton is on the street end (above Starbucks), and Homewood is on the backside (along the canal) A little confusing at firstThe drawback: Parking is limited The cost is $32/day to park in the garage or pay more for valet There is NO street parking nearbyThe garage is located between Hampton and Homewood (hotels are connected on the 1st floor and above)The hotel location is perfect for sightseeing, university, or professional events There is much to do and see, and all within walking distanceTo close, as I started, Vinson (evening maint manager?) was the highlight for us He is a great ambassador for the hotel and its brand He went above and beyond to assist us Promote and retain this man He is the employee others should emulate

The service was friendly The room was clean The bed was comfy

The location was convenient for usBreakfast in the morning was 25 stars Not great, but about what I would expect from a hotel breakfastThe complaints I have are that the bathtub drain was clogged so showering was a bit of a pain But it was clean, and the water was good and hotMy other problem was the noise I stayed on the first floor and the people above me had a wrestling ring going on until after midnight The hotel makes you sign a paper acknowledging a noise ordinance from 10pm-7am, but they don’t actively enforce it The thumping started up again at 6amBottom line, this room is advertised for $138 a night and I just don’t feel like it’s worth that I would have given it 5 stars had I paid $80 for it Anything over $100 feels like a rip off for what you get

My wife and I had a fantastic getaway to Indy for a long weekend The hotel is ideally located near great dining options and lots of fun activities The staff was very friendly and helpful

There is a nice common area next to the lobby with a bar It was perfect for socializing with friends before heading up to the room for the night The rooms are clean, nice, and have a mirror positioned right next to the bed that can be lots of fun if you are staying with your special someone

Victoria Wilkinson

Unless someone else is paying for your room, you require epic views from a high-rise, or you absolutely can’t leave the building where your event is being held, save your money and sleep somewhere elseThere’s nothing special about this hotel beyond the location and the excellent room views Oh, and the post-shower robe they provide is pretty fluffy, if that’s important to you

The gym is spacious, with good views and free water and towels But there’s no pool or hot tub Apparently there hasn’t been one since it went under renovations before the pandemic, but the elevator sign still lists it as being on floor two The breakfast option at the Italian restaurant is a $28/plate buffet The valet is $55 overnight It may be obvious from the name, but this is not a place to go for value

We loved ALMOST everything about this hotel The 2 bedroom suite was perfect for my husband and I to take my tween granddaughter The kitchen had everything we needed

The staff were wonderful The breakfast was surprisingly good with lots of choicesThe only thing I didn’t like was the shower The floor of both bathroom showers were messed up and rusty I would not use the showers and that’s the reason for only 4 stars for the room

Vicki Jacob

We had a wonderful time at the Staybridge Suites We took our grandkids there so they could swim and get in the hot tub It was enjoyed by all

Came with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher and cook top It was within walking distance of Lucas Oil Stadium Thank you so much to Chelsea and Greg and the rest of the great staff Will definitely come back

We really enjoyed staying at this hotel It was in a great central area close to everything The people were wonderful and it was very clean

If there are any problems at all, they are Jonny on the spot, and the beds were soooo comfy!! The only downside is no continental breakfast They do have a wonderful breakfast buffet but it is a bit pricey 1795 is a bit much to feed a family on a budget There is parking across the street and attached to the hotel which is from $30 to $40 a night A little pricey too and hotel parking is public also It’s not just for guests

I’m giving them 5 stars because the newly remodeled room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable! The hotel is still being remodeled and pool wasn’t open but we were in the area for a basketball tournament and my grandson’s team stayed at a different hotel Those rooms were full but my grandson was very happy because he said our room was a lot nicer than the other hotel Front desk person was very nice and friendly! Would definitely stay there again!

Roberta Wilfong

Stayed 2 nights, very nice and very clean They are doing extensive remodeling in lobby area but they are doing their best to accommodate Grab and go breakfast but very nice, hot sandwich or cold cereal

They are allowing me a couple hours late check out, I usually wait in lobby for my daughter’s meetings to get over but since no lobby thank you would stay here again for sure

I had to go to Indianapolis on business and I was recommended this hotel by a coworkerIt was a very nice hotel and I thoroughly enjoyed my stayI booked my stay Through a third-party which was a mistake on my part but because I will stay in for two weeks the hotel manager upgraded me to an extended stay suite, it was very nice of him considering he did not have to do that! The decor in the hotel was very nice

The artwork was exceptional and very unique! The entire staff was very helpful and friendly throughout my entire two weeks they never had an issue during my stay!

It’s really the little things that set a hotel apart The first thing I noticed every time I come here is upon walking in the door a pleasant subtle aroma that is very calming Also from the valet to the front desk to the folks working in every role I’ve encountered, they are all pleasant and helpful

The rooms are modern, sleek, and quite comfortable The shower has a lovely rain head, the bed offers excellent support and there are plenty of electrical outlets for all of today’s necessary gadgets My favorite place to stay in Indianapolis

Martha Ward

I chose to stay at the Alexander because of their charging station in the garage The hotel staff were lovely My only gripe is I asked for another towel, when promised 20 minutes, it arrived an hour and a half later when we were in bed

The lounge treated us with kindness even though we had a 7 and 8 yr old in tow We enjoyed a tasty dessert and popcorn before heading to bed I’d stay there again

We’ve stayed here twice now and we do enjoy it The customer service is great The rooms are always exceptionally clean

The beds are very comfortable a wellIt is not a modern vibe at all so if that is your thing, this is not the placeThe location is ready to find, I definitely suggest utilizing valet to park But then you can walk downtown You’re in a great area where shopping and dining is abundant in all directions for about 2 blocks As well as you’re right by the mall

Ricki Hill

Conrad downtown Indy is beautiful from the moment you walk into the door It is clearly a “vintage” style hotel with small modern updates in the rooms such as the bathroom The valet guys were very kind and informative! The front desk woman was named Lovely, and her name fits her to a T

She was very kind The bed was comfortable and the robes and slippers were a great touch My boyfriend loved the bath tub because it’s deep enough for him to fit 😂My only issue was when we went to the wine tasting room and the waitress/bartender was great when we walked in, but then after we got sat I asked if they had a certain product, they went to find out for sure We waited ten min while they went over and started “bullshitting” with the other bartenders rather than coming and letting us know about the product and getting our order We were the only ones there, so this was uncalled for We left with out purchasing anything or trying anything

Dalton

We had an issue after we checked in and got up to our room- our keys were not working The hotel was nice enough to upgrade our room and we were escorted to our new room to ensure that we were able to get in A few hours later, we were getting cleaned up for dinner and the housekeeper walked in on us

She apologized and quickly left the room… not sure how that happened The hotel is a little outdated for a 5 star, but overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel
