I now have a new favorite home away from home in Denver! We stayed at the end of Feb for a bachelorette event and I booked the Junior Suite which is a king room with another smaller room with a sofa bed and extra bathroom attached The king room was glorious with a large tub and in the other room the sofa bed was surprisingly very comfortable and they offered to make it up for us before we arrived which was so helpful! We had dinner at the Nickel and the service was outstanding and the food was delicious Every single employee goes above and beyond

I was so impressed I loved our stay so much I booked a room for the following weekend as well and we had another amazing stay We had breakfast at the nickel and it was just as amazing as I had heard We will be back soon! The lobby area was nice and spacious, but my room was rather basic for the price I paidStaff were very friendly!There was a pool but only two lanes Hot tub on the terrace was no where to be found – I followed the sign but the door was locked even during opening hours (after 5am)

This hotel still supplies shower gel and shampoo, etc in small plastic bottles, which is very plastic intensive and not environmental I think this should be changed to refilled bottles on the wall like many other hotels have done

Perfect hotel for downtown Denver It is next to the train station and there is no noise issues at all Beds and great, high levels of connectivity, shower pressure and immunities are excellent

You get access to free bikes, free Tesla rides within one mile, gym on site and access to gym next door that has more options You even get access to the contemporary art museum for free The staff is great, food and drinks were very good and the price was right for what we got This is our new go to hotel for Denver We paid about 300/night over the weekend in April

We stayed at the Kimpton Hotel born for our anniversary for 4 days This hotel is very well located, very walkable things in the area, lots of restaurants and cool shops around It also wasn’t very difficult to catch an Uber or a cab from the hotel as it’s super well-located

The hotel itself is absolutely one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever stayed at It’s got a super cool Urban Cottage vibe to it with lots of natural wood mixed with clean modern furniture The room was spacious with a view, the bathroom was beautiful with a stand up shower and the toilet in a little separate room in the bathroom This hotel isn’t super big and it never felt like there was a lot of people coming and going, except for during the beer and wine hour when you would see a lot more people in the lobby The staff were very friendly, the few times that we had to call down for something they were very prompt to answer and very kind to deal withWould absolutely stay here again, can’t recommend the Kimpton Hotel born enough!

Just being totally forthcoming here, room size was a little on the small size, lighting was a little dark, electrical outlets were not plentiful and the biggest drawback on a work trip No desk workspace with chair which made working/prepping difficult and awkward The room would have much better if used for a non business trip Bathroom amenities were perfect, shower and water pressure were great Oh, the shampoo/conditioner/body wash containers were awkward with a large base and narrow neck which made it difficult to get the containments to actually flow in a reasonable time That can easily be improved Besides the lack of a work desk and chair, a very nice property

Spending a glorious weekend at the Thompson for a little downtown staycation The hotel is beautiful, the furnishings and finishes all high-quality, our room (a corner King) truly is surrounded on two sides by floor to ceiling windows with a nice view of the clocktower, and is spacious and comfortable We’ve enjoyed delicious cocktails at both the lobby bar and Reynard Social, coffees from their Duel coffee bar, and a delicious treat of complimentary macarons and dark chocolate truffles sent up to our room

The staff have all been amazingly accommodating, and everything about our stay has been perfect so far Also, breakfast at Chez Maggie is totally worthwhile Possibly the best omelette I’ve had, complete with fresh greens, and they make their hash browns in a little crispy buttery cake YUM! My first bite was like a scene out of Emily in Paris You just have to try it to understand! Highly recommend the Thompson and all it’s food and beverage amenities for your next Denver stay!

Manny and Alex were great hosts and gave excellent recommendations for food and things-to-do nearby Every random item we requested including a humidifier, hair-brush, toiletries etc were delivered to our room with utmost priority During our 4-night stay, the room would be cleaned and tidied-up in the afternoon, but without the air of ‘intrusion’ in the process Being in the heart of LoDo Denver made getting things done and exploring the city easy The several other perks that come with being a guest at the Thompson made our experience nothing short of outstanding Kudos to the ethos of the entire staff in making things hospitable for every person that walks through the front door

My husband and I came to Denver for a getaway this past weekend and booked at the Ritz The staff at the front desk were extremely pleasant and helpful, but that was really to the extent of where we felt they excelled When you walk in, there isn’t a grand lobby or even really a lobby at all

There’s the restaurant to your left, a staircase, and then the “check in” area to your right Upon check in, we went directly to the elevator and up to our very average room The size was nice, but everything else was just average for any nicer hotel The wooden end tables looked worn and had some chips The table by the chaise had water rings all over it, the tub was tiny and again, it was just really average I was expecting more Elways was a nice restaurant with nice staff, and we enjoyed having a few drinks in there prior to heading out for dinner Overall, the location wasn’t in a bustling part of town and the hotel was in sort of a random spot and hard to find at first We were supposed to be there for 3 nights and ended up checking out and heading to a different hotel in Cherry Creek – that ended up being far more upscale and half the price I would not stay here again

We enjoyed walking to vibe coffee shop and all the sites of Denver The staff was very friendly and I just have to shout out Julie in the spa She really went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel so welcomed and pampered! Stayed with my partner over the span of a week The hotel has a lot of small, simple touches that really make it an enjoyable stay Although we ended up in a Queen room, the bed was so comfortable that I did not even mind

I liked this hotel The location is superb We spent the whole Denver stay right around there on foot

The room, while initially described as spacious, had just enough room for the king bed, but it wasn’t uncomfortable The water was alarmingly hot and I loved it The old hotel is incredibly charming from the moment you walk in but some of that is lost when you enter your room I’ve seen better renovations, you don’t really pick this one for the views, and $75 parking + tip/night were the only cons keeping it from a 5-star experience

The rooms are modern and clean They have all that you need It is a great location for the convention center However there was a small that was so bad it made me gag even with my mask on It got worse at night It was mostly in the lobby but was also on my floor near the elevator I would not eat there because of it I did not even want to get a drink at the bar I took it to my room to avoid the smell I am not sure why but it has to be addressed

An amazing atrium – the first of its kind High tea is a good experience in the lofty space of the stained glass atrium ceiling Walk around and look closely at the detailed of the building The staircase is amazing – complete with a line showing where you’ve reached 5,380 feet about sea level Staying at the Brown is an annual affair For me it is the experience of the lobby / atrium Love itYo be fair…the restaurants are a non event Eat elsewhere Great food is to be found in Denver in small, mom and pop ethnic restaurants

The brown palace is beautiful The historical elements are amazing and fantastic The staff was friendly and extremely helpful

The central air in our room was not working, so the ceiling fan was quite loud and it was either really hot or really cold, no in between Overall, I had a good experience We loved that they had complimentary champagne for our anniversary That was very surprising and unexpected so we really enjoyed our anniversary trip down there Overall I would return!

Rooms were more spacious and updated than expected The shower heads in 704 and 843 were not good – showering was difficult The restaurants on site are unbelievably good Afternoon tea is an experience just to watch! My husband and I recently stayed at this hotel and LOVED itThe lobby is absolutely stunning We ended our nights with drinks at the bar (photo below) and sitting on the cozy chairs around the fireplace

Our room was wonderful and kept clean The front desk was very accommodating and brought anything we needed very quicklyThe rooftop bar was amazing (photo below) They even had blankets for guests to use I recommend you get there well before sunset, as it gets crowded around this time This way, you can snag one of the couches

We enjoyed our experience at Le Meridien It is a very nice hotel in a fun location in downtown Denver It is a very convenient walk or drive to most places in Denver

The room was nice but a bit small for the rate As other people have mentioned, there isn’t much of a separation between the bathroom and bedroom and the sink counter space is quite small The lobby is very cozy and a fun place to hangout There is also a rooftop bar to hang out in with a great view of the mountainsWe used the valet which is pricey but there are many surface lots nearby which are cheaper The valet was convenient, friendly, and easy to use

Room was decent, but needed more space for clothes It would be fine for a one night stay, but if you are there for more or need room for dress attire and relaxed attire you are going to struggle here Very little space to hang clothes

The room was very comfortable and we had easy walking access to all of the hot spots downtown I would have given this 5 stars except for the fact that the staff asked us multiple times when coming to grab our keys if we were Door dash food delivery people We are on vacation and dressed casually

Such a unique hotel, with great amenities The self-check in process was quick and easy, and our room was incredibly well appointed We had such a short stay we didn’t get to use the kitchen (which even includes a tiny hidden dishwasher!) in our room but would have definitely cooked a meal had we stayed longer

The space was so well-designed and high-quality, everything has a place so it’s truly the best of tiny living The lobby is a really relaxing spot to post up and play a game or eat breakfast in the morning We also loved The Red Barber – both the signature cocktails and bites were amazing Coolest hotel in Denver in my opinion, in a great area, and design lovers will love every corner of this place

This is hands down the most eclectic, well appointed hotel in Denver You will NOT find a cooler place to lodge in this city From the elevated beds , smart spacial design and kitchenette to the projection screen / blinds that also act as a 2-way art piece for all to see on the other side – this place was the highlight of my recent Denver trip

What a great experience Rhino is a new up and coming location, so many cool places to eat and drink The Catbird is in the center of it all

You HAVE to stay in this hotel if you’re traveling in to Denver to catch a Rockies game! The rooms were incredibly clean and nice The hotel’s location is as perfect as you can get, you literally just go down to the lobby, walk out the door, walk across the bridge that’s right there, and boom you’re at the ballpark! The rooftop pool area is incredible as well We stayed here for one night and caught a Rockies game and we cannot say enough incredible things about it

And the staff was very friendly and helpful!

We came in to Denver this past weekend for a hockey game and stayed at the Rally Great spot Every staff member we interacted with was very nice/helpful, our room was very clean, and the location is great

They offer a courtesy car that will take you anywhere within 2 miles of the hotel and we greatly appreciated this service going to/coming back from the game The only bummer was the hotel bar was closed the days we were there (Sunday-Monday), but there’s not shortage of places close by to grab a drink at Can’t really fault them for not having the bar open on what I assume are their slowest daysWe’ll be back!
