Brie Welch

Hotel is very clean, and feels modern If not a bit quiet even Hotel room was extremely spacious, clean, and bed was comfortable

Only disappointment was there was no hot-tub with the pool Gym was big and had everything you could need Staff was friendly, helpful and personally loved the atrium effect Good views of Ohio, rivers and bridges And close enough to walk to downtown – about 23 min over the bridge Would certainly stay again

Mary Regan

My sister, niece and I were there for an event and stayed 2 nights The staff was friendly and the room was great The view was phenomenal

the valet staff was witty and engaging each time we needed them The event was there in the hotel and I hope it will be again next year as I will be back and look forward to staying with you all again The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was when I checked in the front desk said I had a King room but I had booked a 2 queen room and was told I would have to take the king but then another associate indeed found me the room I booked I was given complimentary breakfast tickets which I thought was a nice touch The breakfast buffet was good

Cars are valeted with 2 optional chargers for EVs Gym on the lower floor is small but well kept The rooms are very clean Loved my king suite with soak tub, perfect for a relaxing bath The rooftop conference room was a nice space for meetings and the catered food was delicious The bar in the lobby had great drinks as well What a luxurious stay! If you’re looking to splurge, definitely check out this hotel

My husband and I came down for a quick, one-night stay to celebrate our anniversary The hotel was beautiful, the suite they upgraded us to was flawless, and the hotel staff, from the valet to the young woman who checked us in, were all friendly and helpful The location was also fantastic

Great views of downtown, and the walk to Fountain Square was only about ten minutes A special thanks to Krystal, a manger, who must have noticed I was pregnant and had a bottle of sparkling grape juice chilled for us when we returned to our room after dinner Such a sweet touch that made our little getaway even more special Definitely the place to stay in Cincinnati

Ebk M

So courtyards have been historically hit or miss for me This experience was definitely a miss in my book This hotel was well cheaper than the other options in the area but you definitely paid for what you got

Everything technically worked but the bathroom was stained from the shower to the toilet There was also some kind of stain or paint all over the curtains and stains on the tablesHowever regardless of the rest of the rooms and the potential for cleaner or better kept rooms the number one reason you should avoid at least half of this hotel is This hotel practically sits on the highway You hear every braking trucker, every motorcycle or loud car exhaustStaff was very friendly and were available but there was an overly casual atmosphere with how they handled themselves Any time you ordered from the Bistro the dude was in the lobby on a laptop or lounging chit chatting to other guestsI would recommend you avoid this location if you care to have a restful uninterrupted night of rest Definitely getting added to the corporate do not travel listing

Brianna O’Daniel

My husband and I stayed here while in the area for a softball tournament this past weekend and we were overall pleased! The room was clean (aside from the shower floor) and included a microwave and fridge which was super helpful The front desk had a bag of extra towels handy for anyone who needed them which was great The location is nice and quiet and conveniently located near the Florence Mall and restaurants

Breakfast was not included but we didn’t really have time to sit and eat anyway, but just be aware of that when booking We would definitely stay here again!

Monica Gende

I did not heed the warnings from previous reviews because it’s a Marriott, it can’t be that bad! Spoiler alert…it is Some sort of weird black/moldy spots all over the blinds, lights out in the hallways, showers/bathrooms that aren’t well cleaned, linens that look very “well used”, and can’t even get fresh towels brought to the room? What’s the point of offering “service requests” on the app when after 2 hours you call the front ask ask about it and they say “you have to come get them” The walls are paper thin, so you hear almost everything happening beside you, upstairs, and in the hall ways

We didn’t have any issues with the sound of traffic because the room fan is loud enough to cover it up Bathrooms were just gross, and there was hair on the wall and the toilet seat when we arrived Everything seemed dingy and neglected, far from Marriott standards This is not a location I’ll stay at again Red Roof Inn offers the same quality for half the price

Very nice rooms The staff there is always so caring and friendly Monica and Shana are exceptionally nice

These 2 women are awesome Any questions or problems are always taken care of by the two of them I give them a A++++ for customer service They definitely deserve a bonus for the excellent customer service I have stayed at the doubletree many times and really enjoy myself when I’m there

Leah Cribb

Staff was friendly, well informed, and very accommodating Check-in/out was easy and an awesome location Loved the cookies, of course! Two drawbacks: barely any outlets in our room and no refrigerator

We were in a handicap accessible room (so I don’t know if all rooms were like that) The bar and coffee shop downstairs are wonderful options and I loved the outside seating as well

Daphene Lewallen

PROS: Stayed 3 nights We were amazed at how clean it was The view overlooking the Ohio River was nice

Parking was in a lot across the street No problemCONS: As soon as we enter the room we thought there was a problem with the lights ALL were very dim Almost that of a candlelight! We had to turn on all 4 lamps and the one overhead just to see I put my makeup on in front of the window to get lightThe shower floor was so “slick” I was afraid of falling We put a hand towel in the shower floor to help prevent it BIG WOW: The staff (all but one) was very friendly and helpful Upon checkout, I returned the key cards and waited for a receipt None was needed I noticed bottles of water on the shelf and figured since there was none in the room, that they were available for guests MY BAD! When I asked the lady if I could get a bottle for the ride home to NC (7 hours), she quickly informed me that “those are for gold card members only” Really?? Its a $200 bottle of water and we just spent $500!NEVER AGAIN HILTON!!!That comment and her “smug attitude” did it for us!

We stayed here when visiting the Creation Museum and the Ark We had a wonderful experience! We stayed in a two bedroom unit Loved having the little kitchen area to store any food and the big fridge was great

Location wise it’s not far from a lot of things The place itself was very clean Breakfast was great Kids enjoyed the indoor swimming pool in the evenings I liked that it wasn’t right on a busy road Even though it’s close to the airport there wasn’t a single time an airplane was loud enough to bother us or for us to even notice

Regina Phillips

The staff was Amazing! Everyone was extremely helpful and accommodating Breakfast was great and Happy hour was awesomeThe bed was super comfy which is a plus for us! The shower heads were top notch which we’ve decided to have that added to our shower in our home

We have no complaints and stayed for two weeksThank you to all the staff for your hospitality!

Michelle Kenworthy

I gave a 3 star because the room we stayed in was stated to be ADA accessible with a roll in shower That was not the case The shower had a large lip

As for the toilet, it was so low that I couldn’t get up without help, there were no grab bars around the toiletIf not for that I’d give it a 5 The hotel was clean, food was decent, some days better than others but overall was fine We had 3 breakfasts and one dinner thereHotel was clean, staff was very friendly and helpful They made our stay very pleasant I would stay again

This was our first time here, and we were celebrating Valentines day I read so many great reviews It was clean, and the extra touches were nice and very much appreciated

I liked the heart on the bed, the chocolate covered strawberries, the roses, which we ordered for Valentines day The bed was comfortable, the jet tub was fabulous!!! Also the fireplace was so nice The steam shower was cool Loved the towel warmer Breakfast was THE BEST that I have ever had, ANYWHERE in my life!!!!!!!! Whomever prepared it definitely knew what they were doing I am a very discriminating person and I promise you that I would not write or say this if it weren’t 100%accurate We really enjoyed our stay in Mr and Mrs Graves suiteWe definitely recommend!!!

Matthew McFarlin

Somewhat hesitant to share our experience because we don’t want this hidden gem to become too popular and a travel hotspot

In all sincerity, my wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Willis Graves Bed & Breakfast! The room was extremely clean and newly renovated with contemporary design and selections Also enjoyed waking up each morning to a delicious breakfast on the outside patio! Jennifer and Sara went above and beyond to ensure our stay exceeded our expectations! We look forward to our next visit!

Lisa Moore

My husband and I stayed two nights in the downstairs 1850 log cabin Jennifer and Sara thought of every detail! The bed was more than comfy and cozy Homemade cookies and bourbon balls were in our room when we arrived

They were delicious! We had our own private deck where we ate our dinner both nights, the first being furnished by Jennifer, and the second by the Tousey House that is an exquisite restaurant within walking distance of the cabin The amenities were well appointed…gas burning fireplace, remote control candles on the mantle, jacuzzi tub and steam shower, heater on the deck, robes and a robe/towel warmer, a small fridge and microwave, along with espresso coffee maker,, wifi, and a large screen tv with cable Everything we could ever think of! The decor and furniture made us feel right at home Breakfast was delicious! We were able to choose the time, the menu, and whether we wanted to eat in dining room or our own room Try the Blueberry French Toast Bake! Yum! We wish we could’ve stayed longer!

Honestly, I could not come up with one negative thing about staying at this hotel The persons working the front desk were all polite, welcoming and helpful The restaurant staff as well were attentive

The room was clean and comfortable The decor of this hotel is be on belief You will not regret staying here Okay, there is one negative I had a work van with a height of 8’ 4” and none of the indoor garage in the area could accommodate it so we had to meter street park a block and a half away I’m glad it wasn’t raining or snowing Oh well, you can’t have it all, right?Check out the pictures and enjoy your stay If this review helps, please like

Kelly Davis

First Mark Man that helps you with your luggage is the hardest working man in the hotel Please give him a raise immediately The hotel history is fantastic

The art deco is fantastic The rooms are small I asked for a coffee in the restaurant during their breakfast they wanted to charge me 275?!? There was a pot sitting there with to go cups and they said it would cost me… okay no Okay place Hard-working employees

Matt Ernst

We stayed the weekend due to the location of a venue we were attending The front desk was professional, but didn’t seem to care about your stay, possibly due to a fully booked hotel and understaffed? We used the app to check in at 5pm, but our room wasn’t ready until 7:30 which was very unfortunate after a long road trip The room itself was very small, which I get you’ll find in some of the more historical hotels, but it was dirty

The floor wasn’t swept, you could see chips and crumbs on the floor, noticeable dust on the floor, the bedding had ripped fabric, and the bathroom didn’t appear to be cleaned I’m a huge coffee drinker, the coffee maker didn’t work, there was coffee, but no cups, so that was a bit annoying (I did track down housekeeping and they were able to get a replacement for us which was great) The mini fridge was very warm, so we had to pull out the unit to turn down the temp and it was disgusting, literally a layer of black dust coating the top The hotel was totally booked, and with several concerts downtown, there were no other available properties to book at the last minute so we just decided to make the best of it Our next day we messaged the hotel for fresh towels and coffee cups, but nothing, maybe their messaging service was down We did not contact the front desk directly because the front desk didn’t seem to care about any of our initial concerns We did reach out to the Hilton Customer Service Department Now for the good The location is great, 3 minute walk to the stadium, the security guards, support staff, bar and restaurant service was great, very friendly If you’re staying on the weekend, a lot of the shops and restaurants in the vicinity will be closed (only open during the week supporting local businesses) so just be prepared for that And by chance if you’re a cigar smoker, there a fantastic cigar shop right around the corner (about a block away) with great prices and selection!

Stopped on our way from NY to Tennessee to get a few hours rest The staff was AMAZING from the minute we checked in until we checked out Beds were comfy, room was clean & perfectly located for us to take our little dog outside

Highly recommend & if we ever need to stop for some rest again while traveling through Ohio, hands down we will stay at the Country Inn & Suites!

Sara Rawls

Stayed at the Hotel for a business event When I checked in I went to hand the front desk my tax exempt form and the gentleman told me they did not need a copy of it I then went to my room and when I went to use the restroom there was a massive water damage leak that look like it was about to burst in any minute

The rooms are extremely small and definitely did not have any renovations done on them when the building was updated As well I was on the first floor where someone could have walked up to my window and seen completely in my room if the blinds weren’t kept shut When I went to check out, they had not removed the taxes I then went and gave them another tax exempt form and ask them to email me the updated receipt When I received the email they had charged me twice for state tax instead of removing it I then had to return to the hotel after my event and wait an hour for them to get my receipt correct While I understand it was not one soul person, and some situations cannot be controlled, this was not the full case with everything that happened to me Especially for not having any real breakfast except for grab and go items, this hotel is not worth the money or the difficulties

Tori Foltz

The hotel was incredibly easy to find from the interstate, and we weren’t expecting a Waffle House in the same parking lot so that was an added bonus Came up last weekend for a concert and only stayed for one night and got a late checkoutThe people working check-in Saturday were doing an awesome job despite being busy

We didn’t get up in time for breakfast, but right now it’s grab and go because they are short staffed (which I can completely understand!) so just keep that in mind when you’re looking to book

This hotel is a quick 6 minute shuttle ride from the airport We did need to call to request the shuttle, the people we spoke with were helpful and friendly The front desk staff made check in quick and easy, which I was so grateful for having arrived at 1 am

They do have a small selection of food/drinks/necessities available in the lobby for purchase Thats always helpful during travel The room was clean and large, and had all the basics you’d expect as far as amenities My absolute only issue was that the door to the room closes so slow behind you As a woman, I’d feel much safer being able to close the door quickly behind me once I enter the room Otherwise, everything exceeded expectations and I had a lovely stay! Oh, and no complimentary breakfast, in case that’s important to your choice in stay

D Jordan

What a nice stay! Great customer service, pre-trip and overall The Marriott Bonvoy Member “Spin The Wheel” at check-in was a real treat I felt welcomed and appreciated

Really nice hotel, right off the highway, and close to shopping and dining The room was clean and comfortable and with a nice view of a the green landscape with a balcony to boot We really enjoyed it Definitely will recommend and will stay again! Special thanks to Debbie for extending friendly customer service with a smile

Check in was easy, room was clean, love the convenience of the shuttle to the airport The lady who ran the shuttle dropped me off and picked me up from the airport She was a pleasure to speak to and was on time getting me to and from the airport

Honestly, had a rough experience and did get the support from the staff we’d hoped forFirst off, we booked a stay on a date that specifically could accommodate a momma to be massage After several emails confirming our date/stay would work with a spa service

we got a phone call less than an hour before heading up to the massage There was no availability to rebook us before we leftIt’s of course understandable that someone gets sick or calls off but what was very disappointing was the staff did not try to apologize for the mishap and no one acknowledged how incredibly last minute the cancellation happenedI tried talking to the front desk and was absolutely brushed off and my emails were ignored It definitely did not feel the experience I paid forAlso, I am aware this is petty but the front desk told us there was complimentary breakfast from 7-10 We were downstairs by 9 and saw everything gone When I asked the desk they said they wouldn’t be refilling it and the restaurant wouldn’t open until dinnerThe hotel made us feel like we were not guests but quite frankly a burden to everyone working!

Don’t get me wrong, it’s a very nice boutique hotel and potentially the best in downtown Cincinnati, but our most recent stay left much to be desired We booked a corner room for a parents night out and were surprised to find one of the bathroom sinks not functional (luckily there were two) and only 1 set of towels The hotel bar was nice but the drinks were a tad bit on the strong side

The toiletries are high end except for the hand soap that leaves a strange film on your skin Lastly, the bathroom was nice, but by no means luxurious which is what I expect for a $400+ room We may stay here again but mainly due to the lack of other options in such a great location

I had my wedding hotel block at this hotel and would not recommend for a wedding block or event The hotel was noticeably understaffed and it was a very busy weekend in Cincinnati (Flying Pig Marathon) despite our wedding The Marriott App didn’t link with the hotel, and so check in was more complicated and no early check in was available

I had NO turn down service/new towels/housekeeping when I returned back to my room on wedding night, although I asked the front desk for this (checked in Friday, and no one came by Saturday) Rooms, in my opinion, are relatively small but are modern and clean During the planning process, I had to overall “work with” at least three separate sales/marketing directors, and even the regional and general director due to, I assume, staffing issues Galen, unlike Olivia and Gina, was very responsive but I feel as if all the work I put into it with him was not well utilized I tried to avoid room issues prior to the weekend— had to send names and hotel confirmation numbers for guests, run the list many times, and we still had issues of guest reservations not being able to be found, guests being given incorrect rooms because too many people with same last name, guests being accidentally checked out, etc This was disappointing because I tried to prepare and avoid this prior to the weekend Valet was wonderful upon check in and check out, but they were overwhelmed and were bringing people wrong cars (thankfully we are all family) These are just to name a few things I understand it was a busy weekend in Cincinnati; but a Marriott hotel should be able to handle this Overall, extremely unimpressed and would not recommend to a friend and would certainly not recommend for a wedding block/event This was by far my most stressful “vendor” to work with Because of that, we stayed in a different hotel the next evening prior to our flight

We actual originally picked this hotel because it was pet-friendly and we were traveling with our chocolate lab But I would definitely pick to stay here again when I’m in Cinci next time regardless of whether our pup was with us or not! The hotel and our room was clean, modern, and well taken care of And the staff was just amazing! All very friendly/welcoming and helpful staff members from the front desk to housekeeping who always asked us if we needed anything when we saw her

Mostly as a joke before we arrived, I asked that there be a bag of treats waiting for our pup in our room in the comments section when we booked the room He was overjoyed to find a bag of treats waiting for him! And staff gave him treats at the front desk frequently Great hotel, great location, great staff!

Disappointing beyond belief Our wedding reception venue is a 2 minute walk from this new hotel and as hard as we tried to book a block of rooms (without a discount) here, we were turned away at every opportunity I first reached out to Gina K, Their sales/ marketing lead, in September of 2021

After leaving 2-3 voicemail messages and receiving no reply a month later, I visited the hotel in person to hopefully chat in person I was told Gina was not in the office but again given her phone number I called again 3 times in October and November 2022, still to no avail Finally, in early December I contacted the front desk asking for the email address of someone who could give us just a little bit of information I was given Ginas email and reached out 3 times before receiving a curt reply that this hotel does not offer hotel blocks I replied to Gina explaining while I do not expect a discount, I would like to know if possible to secure ~30 rooms together, guaranteeing occupancy for 2 nights each It is now February 2022 and after following up several times to my email and leaving yet another voicemail, my question has not been answered Our wedding venue claims they have worked with this hotel since it opened but it appears the Kinley and their sales/ marketing department led by Gina have no interest in doing their job 5 months later we are finished trying to patronize this new Cincinnati hotel

Overall I had a great stay here, it was a last minute booking near the airport for a night as my flight got cancelled I gave their front desk a call to see about the airport shuttle and they came and got me immediately, which I really appreciated, being stranded at the airport otherwise Everyone working was wonderful

Only issue was a big crowd of parents and kids that used all the public spaces basically all night and were very loud in the hallways, constantly knocking on doors and yelling I was hoping to use the pool, but really couldn’t And there looked to be a tray with a used coffee filter just sitting on the TV stand in my room But overall for what the hotel has the power to change, it was a great stay

GREAT HOTEL EXPERIENCE!!! I highly recommend this hotel! We wanted to stay at a nicer hotel that had a nice pool area, and this one even had a hottub! The kids looked forward to the pool every single night, and they leave their pool area open til 11:00PM! AWESOME! Their breakfasts were great, with a lot of variety and options! There were no loud noises during the night and we never heard our neighbors being loud at all On our last night we stayed here, some dumb kid had “an accident” in the pool, and so, in accordance with health department requirements they had to stick chemicals into the pool and shut it down for 24 hours When we got down the elevators and saw the CLOSED sign our kids were BUMMED!!! 🙄🙄🙄 We had started going back up the elevator to our room, but then the desk worker came up to the elevator doors and informed us that the hotel right next door was also their sister hotel and that if we wanted to, we could walk over there and use their pool

Which we all did, and the kiddos all had a blast on their last night! We REALLY REALLY appreciated them doing that for us Was very nice 😊😊👍👍

This is a must stay if you are searching in the northern Kentucky area just over the Ohio border My Family of 4 went on an over night business trip and we 100% picked this hotel because of the HOT TUB! That is right, a pool and hot tub and that area of the hotel is available until 11pm! This is one of the only hotels with a hot tub with in I would guess a 30min to one hour radius (believe me I have already done the research for you!) The hot breakfast offered in the morning was great, the decor and cleanliness is top notch, there are many other amenities including an outside patio and fireplace and the staff were nice! This hotel is worth the price with 2 thumbs up and I will definitely be back if I stay in the area

Hotel appears to be fairly new, everyone was nice/friendly and courteous Rooms/bathrooms were very clean and didn’t have ask for extra towels or toiletries Rooms cleaned and stocked everyday

Very quiet at night The breakfast was awesome and there was also a gym If you wanted to go out and nor be too far away from the hotel, there was a restaurant bar and grill right next door We had a very pleasant hotel stay

Rikun Frances

Staff were pleasant Room was very clean, water pressure was great There is quite a bit of ambient noise due to it’s proximity to the main road, as well as other things in the room (fridge, AC) so if these things bother you, wear earplugs

The bed is firm, but not uncomfortably so Breakfast had some proteins, but mostly fruits and grains The hotel was full and we got to breakfast at 8am and there was still plenty of food! We really liked our stay here Plus, the parking lot is well lit!

Good stay Room size is average, good location near restaurants and shops, and clean We also enjoyed the pool and games downstairs to plan

Check in and out was easy and we had no problems with our room The only thing we didn’t like was the breakfast Same options everyday and the quality was a 2/10 I watched the breakfast attendant wipe her face, nose, and sweep her hair all while restocking breakfast items, cutlery and beverages In these times I think we should be more mindful of touching our faces and hair especially when serving food and stocking items that people use to eat

We stayed here for a Women’s conference for 4 nights The staff was very friendly and helpful The room was clean and the beds were amazing

It wasn’t too soft but had the perfect firmness in my opinion (This of course depends on your preference) The soap dispensers in the bathroom were cute! Way better than bar soap and those little bottles It was very convenient to have plates, napkins and utensils available for the guests They have a very inviting lobby and seating area for chatting, eating or playing games Along with free breakfast they have free coffee and tea ALL DAY! Not to mention they arre around lots great places to eat and Walmart! We didn’t have to go far for anythingThe only downside was the noise next door After hours our neighbors were a bit too loud 2 nights but the front desk handled it immediately The walls are quite thin but we also stayed during a busy week All the hotels around were full For it to be a full hotel we still enjoyed our timeOther than that, I will definitely stay here again and recommend it to others

35 to 4 Stars Double queen Room was nice

Not too spacious but not small The shower was a sort of stand up jacuzzi which felt pretty good The hotel was very modernized and the gym was one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel of this size Breakfast was good, plus the pool table and games in the dining area/rest area were a super addition I’d stay here again
