I gave 2 stars only because I’ve had good experiences in the past However, I’ve heard complaints about bad service from several friends recently, and this visit was a prime example We arrived 15 minutes early due our reservation and were seated immediately

The table already had menus and water so we anticipated good things Our friends arrived on time, 15 minutes after us At this point we had not been acknowledged by a server We sat and talked with our friends while I watched 3 servers, a busboy, and the hostess walk through the dining room attending to other tables — it’s not that big After we sat with our friends for another 10 minutes without being acknowledged, we decided to leave and eat dinner at the Field House restaurant In case you didn’t do the math, we sat for 25 minutes before we left

The food was delicious and prices were reasonableOnly complaint was that I specified I had Celiac’s and HAD to eat gluten free to person making reservations, our waitess and the chef, but received my delicious lobster salad with deep fried corn fritters on my plate And this was after waitress checked with chef to make sure I could have the salad selection

I caught it and my husband had to eat one while I waited for a new plate

After driving 15 hours decided to call it a day and book a hotel online that was pet friendlyDecided on this this hotel 1 bedroom $149 with $50 non refundable pet fee plus taxesA guy working the front desk named Tim look incredibly annoyed with me checking in and especially that I had a pet

10lb dogHe felt the need to argue the pet fee with me saying it’s $75 and I had to tell him it was not that on the website it says $50Go to the room 128 he calls and goes I looked it up it is 75$ non refundable, at this point I look it up again thinking maybe I made a mistakeThis is what it says on their website “traveling with pets allows $50 non refundable 1-4 nights , $75 for 5 plus nightsI honestly did not feel comfortable staying at this hotel or welcomedThe beds are uncomfortableThe pillows are oldAround 5:30am you can hear this crashing sound whenever someone uses the watersYou can hear the person in the room next door full conversation talking, this is not a room with adjoining doors so the walls are thinI would not recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for a peaceful check in and easy sleep before travelingIt lacks customer services, basic amenities “bar soap”, and the beds are extremely uncomfortableTheir gym looks nice, pool and front lobby, but I didn’t book a hotel to use any of these things

This hotel was great! My daughter’s wedding was at Eden Hall and we are from Cincinnati, so Stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn in Cranberry for 4 days My son-n-law reserved a block of rooms for the wedding party and the staff were great to all of us This is the best hotel I have ever stayed in

The staff was great! The waitress at breakfast was very friendly and attentive to our needs Tim the assistant manager was awesome!! He took care of us and we were a busy group I cannot say enough about how great this hotel We will definitely stay again and recommend this hotel to others

Tony Sabo

Excellent stay at this hotel As a diamond member, I felt appreciated right away At the front was JuJu who checked me in flawlessly and quickly while also recommending not only several high end restaurants in the area, which I needed for clients, but a few dive bars which I needed for myself and a few friends later on in the evening

The hotel itself was spotless as well as my room I can’t say enough about the people running the front desk and the bar There are a lot of choices in the area, but with these kind of people running the show, I’ll be back!

Found a bedbug in my room immediately upon checking in Thankfully the front desk employee was extremely apologetic and switched me to another room immediately, but I was skeeved out for the rest of my stay In the second room, the deadbolt did not work and the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor due to poor curtain design

I expect better for a Courtyard Friendly & accommodating staff is what saved this from being a one star review

Janina B.

As expected the room was clean The king size bed was comfortable I checked in really late, close to 4 am and check in was a breeze

They have full sized bottles of shampoo, conditioner and body wash which I think is a plus! The towels were clean but could maybe use a little more fabric softener but it was okay It served its purpose The room didn’t have a microwave and that is why I rated the room wirh 4 stars but that was my fault because I assumed that the room had its own microwave oven So I had to eat my packed meal cold which was okay I am pretty sure they have something downstairs to warm up meals because their marketplace/store offered frozen tv dinnners and cup of soups that would require a micorwave oven so I think that they probably have something to warm up meals with but I didn’t bother asking the front desk since it was so late at night and didn’t want to bother the staff Overall, my stay was close to perfect

This is a nice hotel in a nice setting, for a reasonable price A hot breakfast is provided at no additional charge I’ve run into a few hotels lately that ADVERTISE a hot breakfast, which is a requirement for me, but don’t provide it free and don’t say so, thus ensuring I’ll never be back

Beds could use some work, I don’t think I’ve ever slept on a worse one, but the room itself was nice, with a small sofa and desk Very kind and pleasant staff Reasonable convenient to commute to Pittsburgh

Amyjo White-Detwiler

We were impressed with the cleanliness of the lobby and the warm greeting However when we got to our room it was less than desirable It was so small we could barely move around in it

No real hooks to hang things The beds were the smallest full size bed Incredibly uncomfortable (but hey if you’re a hard bed kind of guy/gal this is your thing) The pool area was not cleaned daily as we saw a massive hair ball near the chairs two days in a row No towels available at the pool We were disappointed in the size of the room and how uncomfortable the space was I couldn’t help staring at the splotchy paint on the walls when the sun came in the window I would have maybe paid $99 for this room, not $199

Princess Agatha

An older hotel Fine, not great Breakfast area was good

Hotel rooms generally ok and beds seemed clean Bottom of the bathroom garbage was dirty and full of pubic hair when I pulled out the bag to use for cleaning our dinner garbage Back of the bathroom door was punched in, which according to reception isn’t a surprise and a problem in multiple rooms Just looks like it needs maintenance Broad strokes were fine, details left something to be desired

Where to start?

this place is one of a kind, we definitely had the most welcoming, beautiful, comfortable and perfect stay hereThe host Steve really knows how to make anyone feel special, he was nothing but accommodating and super nice the whole time, he really goes above and beyond for everyone! We were looking for a private, quiet place that was beautiful and cozy for us to elope, we had very little time to work with and with no hesitations they allowed us to have our wedding ceremony in their living room, with the Pennsylvania woods as our backdrop and the comfort of their placeAfter that we spent the night in their main room, the room is gorgeous and it has everything you need and more from a hot tub with jets and a spa set up within the room to spacious bathroom and THE MOST COMFORTABLE BED IN THE WORLD!!!Breakfast was super nice and delicious, he cook everything fresh and for someone as picky as I am with food I can tell you that it was just a fantastic breakfast, the smell of bacon woked us up!!! We had everything we wanted and needed and the fact that he allowed us to have our ceremony there so out of the blue was the highlight of our stayThe whole place is beautiful and you won’t regret staying with them, we wish them the best and we just can’t wait to go back soon!

Jerry Cutright

We spent 11 amazing nights at Heather Hill Inn with our family and it was just what God knew we needed Julie, Steve and Naomi made us feel like we were a part of their family We were truly spoiled! Walking the farm at night was so relaxing, especially the evening we saw 30 deer and thousands of Fireflies! We arrived as guests and left friends

Braiden S

My husband and I found this little gem only 20 min from our house

The complimentary breakfast was terrible Had waffles that wasn’t mixed the whole way and eggs in a container What ever happen to regular eggs and bacon with toast

Stayed 2 nights and housekeeping never cleaned the room No new towels and almost run out of toilet paper The door to the bathroom is made out of glass, so when the first person gets up everyone gets up No sleeping in if bright light wakes you up Parking cost $10 a night

Andy Oceguera

If you are a Bonvoy member (and I am an Amabassador Elite), do not expect anything from this hotel They do not value loyalty for certain It ow makes sense why just nice hotel in great area is always so empty

This is the third and last time I am staying here (had already give 2 chance, honestly shame on me for giving them another try) At check in, Did not even ask for the choice of welcome giftGood luck getting the room clean They would just refuse to do so Zero flexibilityStaff I interacted with is not trained whatsoever and the person training the is just sitting around seeing them fail at what they are doing“Hot”breakfast is choice of a prepackaged egg on English muffin or a quiche Dont even have hot oatmeal General Manager says they meet minimum Marriott guidelines for breakfast And certain they meet the bare minimum This is an OK hotel just should not be part of the Marriot brandRoom are spacious and internet is great, which other hotels in the area fail at this

The Mainstay is truly a gem Our family reserves the entire Bed and Breakfast for our reunions, and Jim treats us like we are part of his own family The B+B itself is charming and comfortable, and Jim makes our experience perfect in every way

His mother even makes us her delicious nut loaf because she knows it is a favorite Our thanks and appreciation to Jim for another wonderful experience

We just stayed here for a kid free retreat this past weekend We were looking to relax and reconnect and The Mainstay at Saxonburg was just right Jim was incredibly welcoming and friendly

He was able to recommend a few things to do in the area, ensured we had everything we needed and then disappeared so we could unwind We stayed in the Pine Room which had its own private bath with jacuzzi tub The entire place is impeccably clean with not a spec of dust to be found We’re looking forward to staying here again soon We’d love to check this place out again when it’s warm and we can enjoy the evening on the terrace or under the twinkle lights in the back yard We would definitely recommend this place to anyone and will be back again

Kara at the front desk was so incredibly helpful when our plans changed and we needed to change our (non-refundable) reservation She went out of her way to change it for us without any problem Then when we arrived, the hotel was clean, the staff were polite, and there were lots of convenient stores and restaurants within walking distance

The hotel room itself was very spacious, clean, quite, and very dark when we pulled the room darkening curtains closed (so many hotels don’t bother with room darkening curtains for some reason and they make a huge difference!) The beds were extremely comfortable and we all slept really well It was honestly the best night of sleep I have ever had in a hotel room, and I am not a good sleeper, especially when I’m not in my own bed In the morning, we had the complimentary breakfast which had plenty of options for everyone The coffee was hot and tasty Overall, this hotel really is such a gem and we will definitely stay again next time we come through Butler!

Karen Messick

The staff were very friendly and helpful The room was clean and everything was provided The cheese omelet and muffin were very good

The 4 stars is because the fire alarm sensor malfunctions Alarm went off at 345 am We all went outside in the misty rain Fire engine and all Staff said it had been happening for a month Alarm company says it fixed but then it goes off again Couldn’t go back to sleep after that

Lobo Mitro

My sister stayed here from out of townWe met in the neat lobby meeting areaThe entry to the Hampton Inn was not clearly marked or easily accessible

You have to drive thru Dairy Queen business to get to Hampton Inn??? This is very confusing to someone from out of town This whole hotel/restaurant/shopping complex is nothing but a giant maze Come on man, who thought of this???

Amelia the front desk is excellent, friendly and helpful However sofa bed and sofa in the room are not cleanWe checked in very late around 8 pm

She directed us where to get good with a list of restaurant in town After dinner , we came back to hotel room around 10 pm, and my son was very disappointed to find out the sofa bed mattress had a big dirty stainAmelia is very nice to change us to a different room with 2 queen beds immediately So my son does not need to stay on a sofa bed However we are disappointed again to find the sofa chair with 2 area of stain of urine I showed Amelia 2 pictures of urine stain At this time it’s 11 pm, we are too tired ! So I just asked Amelia to put on a note in my room so they won’t accuse my dog caused the stain and charged me extra After all, we have paid $75 for dog to stay and we bring in our own dog cage to keep the dog inAmelia just told me she did put my note in Hopefully this will bring the attention to the Marriott management team to do better cleaning Especially Amelia told me that there is inspector to inspect the sofa mattress before it’s folded inI told Amelia that I am Marriott Envoy member and stayed in many Marriott hotels when travel for last 3 years, This is the first Marriott hotel room with dirty sofa bed mattress and dirty sofa chair

Chasiti Dascomb

Beautiful hotel and very clean, gorgeous pool 3ft to 5ft, hot tub and sauna Basketball court outside the pool room Exercise room and a fire pit with comfortable seating around

They even offer a free complimentary smore kit! Breakfast was hot and delicious with many choices for everyone, I think they had over 10 different toppings to choose from to add to your waffles or yogurt ect Pet friendly Location was amazing everything you can imagine within 10 miles or less!

Timothy Schantz

I recently stayed at this hotelI have stayed at many Residence Inns around the United States This was one of the worst Residence Inns I have stayed in

Not because of noise, but the condition of the hotel is quite frankly in very poor shapeIn our bed/bathroom, there were several areas where the carpet was damaged, the walls were damaged and stained The door needed to be repainted, the toilet ran, stains were abundant all over the roomIn the living room, the furniture was stained and rippedThe breakfast was also NOT up to Residence Inn standards Using prepacked items left in their paper/plastic wrapping, in the warming stationsI will not stay at this Residence Inn again

I had a great stay here I was very comfortable and the hotel was a gracious host to the busy monster movie convention I came for The pool and gym areas look great

The lobby has a great seating area that’s nice for meeting friends and chattingThe restaurant was a little pricey But the food was very good I had the crab cakes and I highly recommend them Unfortunately, the food prices were so high I headed out to one of the dozens of nearby food optionsThe location is great! You can get downtown in no time and there’s a horde of shopping and eating options within a mile along with an easily accessible Giant Eagle for groceries (my personal GO TO is the chipped ham and hot bar)

Laura Inglis

Everything looks newly renovated Huge lobby area and decent sized restaurant The rooms are wonderful, very spacious and clean

Staff was great, very friendlyGood location, plenty of places to eat nearby and there is also a nice walking trail in a nearby parkThe only negative is coffee Very limited hours (they close at 11am) and $5 for a cup of regular coffee is outrageous There are plenty of places nearby (including multiple Starbucks) but if you need a midday or evening coffee you’ll need to plan for it The rooms do have coffee makers but that’s the one thing in the room that feels outdated

Joyfully His

We’ve stayed here several times over the last few years This past time was the last time The rooms were not cleaned properly, and there were black fingerprints on the mirror (??) The lobby, of course, makes you feel like you’re in some high-class hotel, but the quality and attention to detail stops there

Charging what they do per night and don’t offer breakfast or a genuine clean room? No thanks We don’t recommend anymore Across the street, you’ll find Marriott Towneplace Suites They are very clean AND they offer a great hot continental breakfast each morning Well worth the cost AND peace of mind!

This hotel is relatively new and the lobby is modern and bright The room is very spacious, which includes 2 queens bed and a sofa bad The fully equipped kitchen is well maintained and included all necessary utensils and tools needed

The bathroom seems thoroughly clean before our check in, however, the office chair and sofa bed had noticeable and visible dirt / stink marks on them The front desk stuff (Sam) was very friendly and helpful during the check in process Room key is required to access the elevator, so extra security protection for guests Lots of food choice for breakfast The hot dishes were kept hot and refilled promptly Not a bad experience, but hoping they will be more careful about the stink / dirt, especially during the pandemic

Kyle Arbogast

Traveled to the area knowing whats around for a little family vacation Loved everything about the hotel except a couple small issues Hotel itself very clean and nice looking

Rooms are very spacious Only issues i had was they let people outside on the patio drink and party till after midnight and make a ton of noise and then running up and down the hallways and slamming doors shut Breakfast is very good and lots of options

The worse hotel ever!!! Not only was this place completely outdated, but you won’t believe the story I am about to tell you The woman next door to me had two kids with her Her toilet would not work and the hotel couldn’t fix it

They give her a key to a room two doors down but since it only has a king bed, she can’t stay there as one of her kids would have slept on the dirty floor So she had to walk out of her room in the middle of the night in a creepy hallway to go to the bathroom It took them a full 24 hrs to fix it Guess how much of a discount they gave on her room…nothing!!! They won’t even return her call This hotel is awful and in the middle of nowhere I thought I was going to die in the elevator Don’t go here!!!

I’ve stayed many times at this location throughout the years while travelling through the US and it’s quality is consistent The rooms are clean, the hotel staff are polite, and the breakfast is solid The bathroom was left mostly clean although the staff missed some details

The shower has adequate pressure and lots of hot water but it did squeak when it was being used Overall a great stay and I look forward to coming back again

Cathie Caliguiri

I spent one night last Wednesday at this Hyatt Parking was so convenient I was pleasantly greeted upon entering by Austin who was so friendly and professional

Check in was a breeze- literally less than 5 minutes Austin directed me to the bar area and market My room was on the 4th floor It was beautiful and clean I have to say that I slept the best I have in months It was extremely quiet Everything I needed was in the room and enjoyed not having to leave the room for a cup of coffee in the morning I would highly recommend this hotel Also, you are very fortunate to have such an incredible employee as Austin on your team Thanks so much for making my stay so safe and comfortable

Dave Osthoff

I will start by saying our room was perfect, as was the sausage eggs and biscuits/gravy the next morning! Other comments about the hallways are accurate The hallways reeked of pot, which really comes of no surprise and seems to be the norm anymoreI booked the room by calling this hotel directly the day before our stay

The person at the front desk that took my call did not know how to spell when repeating information back to me I don’t think Hyatt has many qualifications required for that positionUpon our check-out, I decided to switch payment methods The employee at the front desk (different person this time) charged me 3 additional times on my old payment method, deposit the same amount as a refund into my new payment method, and refunded only one of the charges to my old payment method It took one operator plus that person’s manager on the phone to clear things upWe don’t stay at hotels often, so, of course we would stay again because the room was nice as was our sleep Very comfortable bedding, I should mention

The room was nice and spacious Floor seemed kind of sticky with my shoes but could be the material of the flooring Breakfast was decent

Wish they had potatoes I was wanting a pancake but the machine was out The staff didn’t want to put more pancake mix in on one of the days I was there Another morning another staff helped me with the pancake maker She was super helpful

We are staying here for a week while visiting family in the area Our experience has been sub-par from the start At check-in we were charged again for the full total of our stay that was already pre-paid

The room cleanliness has something to be desired There is house keeping unless we ask for it The pool is cold and green! There is never anyone at the front desk, just a phone and a note to dial 0 for assistance I realize staffing is an issue, but there are certain expectations when booking a name brand hotel For the rate, this hotel is not even CLOSE to being worth it

Highly recommend this hotel! It was clean, the room was comfortable, all of the amenities were provided, it was quiet, the parking was free, and the breakfast was great! There were several choices at the breakfast I also appreciated the coffee and tea that was available at all times I also liked the security of using the room key for the elevator
