Place was awesome Service and hotel employees were great We had a suite from a friday-sun

2 adults 2 kids(35 and 15 year olds) They let us know no one was below or next to our room so noise level didn’t have to be as quiet They were very helpful The room was clean We were pleasantly surprised that numerous places to eat were on the property(however they close very early) Lots of shopping nearby as well I will definitely stay here again

I love this hotel! The location is awesome! Its within walking distance to the river if you want to take a dip or paddle board Its also a 2 minute walk to the heart of historic Folsom which is a great area for food and drinks So if you want to get a bit of a buzz at the local watering hole(s) and not worry about taxis or driving then this hotel is perfect! The rooms are basic, clean, and quiet

The ceiling and walls are a bit thin and I did get woken up by some thunder foot person walking around like a caged tiger but its generally quiet The bathroom doesn’t have a fan so bring some matchesThere is a bar that has food inside the premises but it closes pretty early I read some of the bad reviews and I get it people love to complain but I have traveled the world and spent some nights in a few truly terrible places none of which come remotely close to this older hotel! I highly recommend this place!

We bicycled from Sacramento to Folsom and stayed at Lake Natoma Inn for two nights All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful The room was comfortable and clean

They even allowed us to keep our bikes in the room We had dinner at their restaurant and it very good and filling In fact, we had leftovers that we stored in the room’s refrigerator The location is accessible to the old town We visited the Folsom Powerhouse State Historic Park that is just a short walk from the hotel The park is a must see with very informative docents

My Card Art

I travel a lot and one of my favorite hotels, without having to spend an arm and a leg in this town, is this hotel Clean rooms and since I am an avid swimmer, the pool is a must for me The staff here have always been so nice to me

Big smiles and friendly greetings I like the location here as well, because when I rent a car, I can access a lot of places and still be close to this hotel Also, plenty of food places around without having to go very far I would recommend this place for sure 🙂

I had a fantastic stay here The front desk staff were super friendly and helpful The room was clean and much more spacious than I expected

The A/C worked great, which is important in Folsom in July On the third floor, it was very quiet, even on the weekend The interior is somewhat dated, but they nailed the important parts (clean, quiet, comfortable)

Joshua Rothschild

Clean hotel but definitely in need of a refresh Furniture in the public areas is pretty beat up and not very clean Super slow elevator so we took the stairs all the time

Decent pillows and mattresses, very small TV’s Nice quiet AC units The breakfast was quite a let down Very limited choices The scrambled eggs looked like they were ground in a food processor after they were cooked and very bland Some of the worst coffee ever Pool was closed which they did not mention when I placed the reservation Very nice helpful staff though Close to many restaurants and shops

Andrew Blanc

Not the best stay at all Our athletic team was staying at this hotel and all of our keys failed to work 5 minutes after we received them from the front desk After being reprogrammed, 2 hours later, and they didn’t work again

Very disappointing The pool complex is also closed until May 31st Breakfast was actually better than expected, fresh waffles and more options than usual Overall not the best stay though, and, for the money, you can find much better

Desiring winter wedding vibes in the middle of September? Done! The reception area is truly transformational As a photographer, I loved that they had a variety of areas for portraits The garden was perfect for the ceremony and the reception area was spacious and airy

The entire venue was beautiful and helped me capture gorgeous and romantic wedding photos; I highly recommend!

This place is peaceful, yet invigorating, colorful yet serene My room, The Climbing Rose” has a lovely view, cute pale green vintage porch chairs, a fluffy comfortable king bed, patchwork quilts, stain glass accent windows, a coffee bar and a fan to feel ultra comfy and relaxed I love the peach, lemon and orange trees everywhere, and the coi pond with waterfall and white picket fence has the feel of The secret garden

Room 303, The Grand Victory room A very delightful stay The room was a clean mini suite with small kitchen

Bring your own plates and utensilsOutside of a few creaks (and the bars emptying out at 1am) we sadly did not experience and haunting this timeWe loved the old West flavor of the lobby, halls, staircase and the oldest elevator in the West We’d love to stay again

Adrienne Furniss

The hotel had a lovely lobby and historic elevator that dates back to 1926 The staff was very kind and helpful as well I would say, however, that the rooms need a bit of upkeep

I stayed in 306–Union Mine, which I noticed had one small bottle of mouthwash and a square of soap for toiletries, but no shampoo or conditioner Luckily, I’d brought my own, so it was all right There was a mark where someone had left an iron on the toilet seat, which was a bit off putting Also, someone seemed to be vacuuming at 11pm or later I had to be up early for work the next day, so it was difficult to sleep Adequate but not very restful

Matthew Gudenius

It was fun to stay in a historic building, and location can’t be beat BUT I don’t think I would stay here again, because the sleep is not very comfortable:The bed is rock hard (one of the firmest beds I have ever been in

I couldn’t even lay on my side, it hurt too much forced to sleep on my back), and the pillows are cheap ones that arr not very good, either The walls/windows also seem thin a lot of noise got into the room from outside The price is not low, and doesn’t include breakfast or anything, so it’s not worth staying somewhere this difficult to get some rest

Had a 2 night stay here in a2 bedroom suite The suite was very comfortable and the bedrooms and attached bathrooms were roomy They actual serve a real hot breakfast with a scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and home fried potatoes

If you’re not into a big breakfast they also have a nice selection of cereal and yogurtThe 2 issues I had with the facility was the parking fee – it’s in an area with lots of places to eat and they don’t charge for parking We could have just parked on the other side of the median and avoided the fee The second issue was in the 3 days and 2 nights we were there nobody vacuumed the staircases with had all kinds of dirt and crumbled food items on themOverall a nice place to stay and one of few places that has 2 bedroom suites I’d stay there again if I was in the area

Bill Jamaca

We spent over a month at this site while undergoing home renovations It was a convenient location and priced at marketThe facility is a bit tired and in need of updating

The rooms are fine, but just Due to “staffing” rooms were serviced weekly or upon scheduled request Sometimes availability was days out Pool closed for maintenanceThe bright spot was the staff Friendly, responsive, and professionalOH The wifi was very good too

Rich Bromberg

Great location, friendly and helpful staff Hotel is clean, lobby area is modern But…Hotel rooms are very small and dated, which is obvious from the photos so you should be ready for that

The one bedroom suites are too small for a queen size bed – almost impossible to walk around the bed Better off getting the studio since it has the same square footage Another issue are the lights surrounding the property – very large, and light up the rooms at night Finally, the breakfasts are all pre-made, wrapped and in a steamer, so you get soggy, egg McMuffin style food Not much selection

My wife and I stayed here for our anniversary weekend and had a wonderful experience The room (Monte Vista) was amazing with fun decorations, and had a great view of the valley below and surrounding foothills We sat out on the deck in the day and at night to enjoy the scenery

Kathleen was very nice, turning on the hot tub when we came back after an afternoon hike at the nearby Gerle Loop trail She also responded quickly to a couple of requests for the room We didn’t get to explore the grounds much as we were out each day, but they looked beautiful We did enjoy the hot tub and I even swam in the very chilly pool (would be great in the heat of summer) The breakfast was very good as well, with a nice variety both daysThe property is off the beaten path but there are several wineries and a brewery to explore in the area, and several short hikes as well There is also the Marshall Gold Discovey State Park nearby The food and entertainment choices in Coloma are limited, but we had great tacos at Gorilla Rock tacos and enjoyed live music at Marco’s There are lots of other food choices in Placerville We also visited the Community Obvervatory one night, which is a hidden gem in the area for something different Check their website for hours and eventsWe will definitely be back to Bella Vista in the future!

Jenny Bates

My husband and I were not as fortunate as so many other reviews our hosts were on a cruise no breakfast of any kind had we known earlier we would have canceled Locked out of the b&b called for more towels and coffee no response we could have stayed in a hotel for much less we were made aware there would be no breakfast but overall most disappointing for our getaway

Lais Newton

We had a great stay, two nights and three days – excellent service, delicious breakfast, and the owners go out of their way to make everything go smoothly and perfectly! The weather was beautiful, the pool was warm, the hot tub was perfect, and the view of the river was absolutely gorgeous I would recommend this place for a beautiful getaway or a casual girls’ weekend, as well as for weddings and special occasions!

I visited the Bradley house with my parents and we had a wonderful experience The hosts were lovely – very accommodating and helpful The house has many details to it and is super clean

We had a peaceful night and a delicious breakfast If we will travel through Folsom again, we would most certainly stay at the Bradley House again and would very much look forward to it

John Voelz

My wife and I recently stayed at The Bradley House A few months ago, we had to sell our home to save our business One of the things my wife misses most about our old digs is she doesn’t have a bathtub to soak in anymore

For her Christmas present, I booked a room here so we could have a night away and she could soak We got the King room I think my wife took three or four baths between Friday night and Saturday morning Amazing I took one as wellOn Friday afternoon and evening, we strolled the Historic District, had cocktails at one establishment and dinner at another This location is so great Great restaurants and wine bars in the areaWe came back at night to relax in the house in the multiple cozy vignettes I took my glass of whiskey from couch to couch and listened to the soft music that was playing for us while my wife soaked We watched the sunset from our deck overlooking the canyon where the American River flows out of Folsom Lake and empties into Lake NatomaThe bed was super comfortable We watched some Netflix before crashing super early in the evening Slept like babiesIn the morning, Mike and Olivia served breakfast for us at 8:00 Bacon, cheesy eggs, potatoes, orange juice, coffee, and tea Delicious My wife invited them to sit with us and chat and we talked for a long time What wonderful, beautiful hosts What a great family and a great business We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend itWe will be back for sure!

Marie Klein

I am considering a move to the area and choose the Bradly House because of the location and charm of the house The rooms have soft bedding on comfortable beds Every detail is carefully and creatively attended to

The food is beautiful and taste as good as it looks, fresh and healthy Both the indoor and outdoor spaces are delightful I can’t thank Olivia and Mike enough for their hospitality It was hard to leave and I look forward to my return!

Hospitality doesn’t exist at this hotel Those working the front desk are rude and condescending I didn’t feel at all welcomed

Bugs were flying around the room Not sure how they got in, I was on the top floor And the beds are the worst! I tossed and turned all night The bed was stiff, and yet lumpy Did they find these mattresses on the street? Marriott is known for their comfy beds Not this location! Breakfast was disappointing and lackluster AC was super loud Indoor pool was freezing, had a problem with billing, and again was greeted with a nasty attitude from the front desk staff when attempting to resolve This hotel did not at all live up to my expectations of Marriott Horrible experience Never again

Danielle Graham

This hotel is absolutely beautiful! Although I only stayed for one night, I really wished the suites would have a stovetop and cookery equipment in case someone doesn’t want to go out to eat Did took a peek at the breakfast and it actually look pretty good for hotel buffet style Nonetheless, this hotel is friendly, comfortable and affordable

Will definitely make this location my getaway hotel from on!! 😁😁😁😁👍👍👍👍

I can’t say enough how happy I was with my stay Even if it was pretty costly, I enjoyed the King suite offered to military! I had a bit rough check-in, because staff wasn’t sure if housekeeping got to the top floor to clean suites, but everything worked out in the end I had a long flight and just wanted to sleep

I actually slept an entire day undisturbed, thanks to the comfortable bed, quiet floor and coziness of the room The room comes with all the amenities you would find in a fully furnished studio apartment I like that the bathroom is kind of open off from the room and the toilet is separated from the rest No one wants to remember the bad smell while washing their hands lol Again, pretty taken back how great this room was, and I love that its location is centrally located near great shops and restaurants Walmart and Chick-fil-A is right down the road (you can never go wrong with these two)

My husband and I really enjoyed our 2 night stay at Eden Vale The hosts were very friendly and hospitable The grounds were very lovely, beautiful and mostly peaceful

Our two breakfasts were delicious We enjoyed the row boat in the pond and sitting outside with our morning coffee before it got too warm This place would be extra wonderful in the cooler months Overall, we would definitely recommend Eden Vale for a romantic getaway

Christine Yu

My partner and I stayed at the Live Oak room over New Year’s weekend and had a fabulous stay! This is definitely a hidden gem for a great price! The owners/innkeepers, David and Karen, checked us in and were extremely polite, nice, and considerate The property was so beautiful, with a nice pond, beautiful views, and little seating areas throughout the property It was incredibly safe, cozy, and romantic

Our favorite part was the private outdoor soaking tub We loved that it was outside but with curtains for privacy, and used the tub both nights we were there We loved our stay so much, and are planning our next stay at the inn! Highly recommend

B H

Eden Vale was an amazing experience David and Karen made us feel right at home and treated us like family We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The room was very comfortable, everything was super clean, the soaking tub was great, breakfast was superb I could go on If you go and get a massage, ask for Barb She was one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever been to You won’t regret your stay at Eden Vale We will definitely be back in the future!
