Family of four Got a suite, king and queen beds, two rooms Clean and comfortable

Positives: Great staff including Doug on evening shift The morning manager also super helpful Excellent breakfast Cook staff engaging and very helpful, especially with one gluten free family member The suite room was perfect for family of fourNegatives: Pool and hot tub both closed (off season?) But after two days of hiking Grand Canyon, wish we could have known Concrete construction work stared 7:45 Monday morning All good, we needed to get going Would rather wake up to something other than a hammer drill! Exterior entrancesThe positives far outweighed any negatives Great spot to stay if hiking the Sedona areaI also recommend the Mexican restaurant right out the front of the hotel

lisa johnson

The room was clean and had a fridge, microwave and single serve Keurig to make snacks and drinks The breakfasts had a great variety to choose from and start the day right The location was nearby trails and shopping, we found all we needed without going out of our way

The pool and hot tub were ready to go, but we did not try them out We didn’t use the laundry either Overall, it was convenient and the amenities Great, definitely a 3 star hotel

Bree Nacole

I went out to celebrate Mother’s Day and when I had returned we had seen our door was wide open I was furious and went straight to the office to complain When I asked to see the camera footage I was told they couldn’t because the manager wasn’t there but they would check the key log

The lady at the desk then apologized then offered 20% off I then went back to my room to celebrate Mother’s Day After about 30 minutes she called and asked if I had noticed if anything was taken When I said no she started to say that the only key that accessed my room was mine So they could no longer offer that discount but a smaller one I personally do not care about the price, I booked it expecting to pay But I also expected a safe room that wouldn’t be entered when I was not there Needless to say I will not be coming back hereAnd if you plan to stay here make sure you take everything valuable with you

I stayed in the two room suite and it was pretty sweet The unit was quite large and overall it was a nice experienceThe property has some beautiful views both day and night

It was wonderful to be able to look up at the starsAs a place to sleep and relax, it was greatRoom service ends a bit early I recommend ordering by 7:30 They state until 8:15 but I tried to order a couple minutes past 8:00PM and was told that the driver had already left with the last deliveryWifi is not good and the rooms did not have smart TVs Not a deal breaker, but I did not have to do any work while I was there and just ended up using my phone

Vin M

This place is pretty cool Everything is top notch The golf course is pretty nice and the pools are clean

The full kitchen is amazing! I think my favorite thing is the jacuzzi tub 👍The time that I showed up, my hot water heater wasn’t working and my wife was on the phone with the front desk trying to figure it out So we’re going to give them the benefit of the doubt and say that the maintenance man they just sent over is going to fix my problem 😎Otherwise I’m very satisfied This place exudes “Don’t worry about it” 👊🤘

Pipin

We stayed in unit 8 for the weekend and it was a great option for what we needed! Right in the heart of downtown, was walkable to all the shops/restaurants/tasting rooms Quick drive to Jerome and Sedona Communication with the owner was timely and check in/out process was super easy

Loved the shared balcony feature! Our unit didn’t have any “living room” space, but we didn’t need it for our weekend I know other units have different layouts so I’d read the descriptions before booking to find one that meets your specific needs

Graham Byrne

My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend in October We did wine tasting and went on the Verde Canyon Railroad Each time we came back to the room we commented on how nice it was

We stayed in the 1925 room 2 queen beds, ceiling fans over each and there was even a floor fan provided! We really enjoyed out stay The room was clean and the host would send periodic text messages to let us know the room was ready and ask how we were enjoying our stay Absolute great place right in the heart of Cottonwood

The Inn is tucked away from the mainstream Somewhat away from the hub of cars and traffic As you arrive at the inn you’ll get a tour of the layout of it

From the free water station to the room and setup of the breakfast bar Then you’ll be told where you’re room is at Once you walk in you’ll smell the scent of cleanliness The rooms are spacious and comfortable Set with Cable, Wi-Fi and a small fridge You’ll have a small patio to sit in the morning or evening Food and restaurants are close enough for a quick drive Other activities are also close enough to enjoy This was our first time coming here, but this is now our new retreat for the weekend

Mary Beth Dawson

I had a wonderful two night stay here! We were welcomed by a very friendly and helpful staff member at reception, who gave us a tour They have a nice library of DVDs, tour brochures, and lots of snacks available for a small fee (50 cents to a dollar) that people leave in a box on the honor system Our room was clean, beds were comfy, and there are restaurants and gas stations nearby

It was just about 10 mins from Montezuma National Monument, and a short 35-40 min drive to Sedona We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re in the area!

This place is pretty cool Three restaurants: one very inexpensive ($8) for 1/2 chicken, mashed potatoes, veggie and roll Same for meat loaf and other entrees

They have a 50s themed diner and a high end restaurant Other than gambling ($10 minimum at black jack table), not much to do except eat, wander around or bowl There’s a fun place to leave the kids while you gamble, swimming pool for guests of hotel

Jodie Reichert

$1000 buffet: we were the first few to go in at 7:00am! No toast or bread of any kind, they only had scrambled eggs, corned beef and hash (taste like it came out of a can) hard bacon, good sausage links, cubed potatoes, small danishes that (taste like they came from the supermarket) and white gravy All of the food was warm not hot

It did include your drinks The best thing about going there was an outstanding male server that was so sweet, service with a smile 😊 and polite that made the experience worth it, we gave him a really nice tip!! That’s a man that truly enjoys his job (he said so) and working extra hours because he has a family

Lyz

This is a nice casino All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful The place is clean and layed out nicely

The Three Sisters and the Cafe have reasonable prices, great food and coffee The other restaurants are over priced for the just okay quality of the food and small portions I’d recommend stopping by if your looking to have some fun on your way through the area

I hope you like settling for mediocre This place is offering “snacks” for breakfast and a 20% discount at Denny’s Due to covid

But at this point in the game that’s code for it’s cheaper for us this way The beds were hard, there were not enough towels in the room for a family of 4 Best of all instant coffee All in all its a place to sleep and shower up, not much else The staff was happy and cheerful, not a shot at them But I’m not coming just for the smiling faces

Aleta Wakefield

The rooms were comfortable The grab n go breakfast could of been better but the woman who does it was very helpful and kind Jody who I think was the day manager not sure, she was also very helpful

They only change the sheets and stuff every 4th day except they come and get your trash daily and your towels but she allowed me to change my mother’s bed sheets instead of making her wait since something got in it Sometimes hotels don’t allow you too for what ever lame reason Right next to Dennys and when you show your room key you got 20% of your ticket The pool was nice and perfect Not super cold but just right for how hot it was They had tables outside to sit at when smoking in designated smoking areas Usually there someone right outside the doors smoking which for some people bothers them I would totally stay here again! Friendly clean restaurants close by shopping a mile up the road

Jason O

Very small rooms Hard squeaky beds No mini fridge

Old carpet and a chair held together with tape Breakfast is grab n gowhich was better than I expected I was told I got a 20% discount at the Dennys in the same parking lot, used the discount twice during my stayI was staying multiple days, I left early due to the discomfort of the bed, old musty smell in the room and the bugs I was grossed out and left early Was given a partial refund, better than nothing, but a full refund would’ve been more of the right thing to doThe staff were all very friendly The lobby and hallways were clean and somewhat updatedbut the rooms will leave you in shockNext time I will choose a different place to stayunless this Days Inn location gets a major update

We stayed 2 nights and will never, ever go back We thought we would give it a try from having read the reviews We will return to the Tavern Hotel the next time we visit Old Town Cottonwood

It is much cleaner with real amenities and professional staff Our first assigned “large” room was upstairs We found a dark, dangerous stairway with steep step risers and narrow step treads There was no way we could carry our luggage up those awkward steps with a dingy light at the top The immature desk person rudely announced that we had taken the last room After describing the problem with the stairway and that I nor my husband were going up and down those steps for 2 days, she “found” us a smaller room for the same price next to the “coffee room” Instead of Starbucks in our room, as we had anticipated, we made it single cup style in the small coffee room, euphemistically described as the “Guest Services Room” We had several problems that needed attending to, but the “supervisor” could never be found or simply didn’t respond We asked for a discount at the end of our stay, but received no consideration This place is overpriced and amenities exaggerated I have read the highly rated reviews in disbelief, and wonder if they were staying at the same place

Chettie Dodson

Cozy type inn Smaller room and bathroomCourtyard does have a echo effect as all rooms face toward it

May not be quiet enough for some, esp on weekendsComfy beds, large TV, and updated bathroomsStarbucks machine was ideal in the AM, self serveWalkable to main street wineries, probably the best part of this place!

Pepe Dawgg

Conveniently located in old town near all the shops, wineries, and restaurantsThe rooms are clean and fresh and renovated without losing their charmThe receptionist was very friendly and kinda weird, but in a good way

The beds were freshly made and everything in the room was super cleanTheir little coffee station next to the ice machine is the amenity i didnt know i needed

They had a refrigerator in the room as well as coffee maker and small bar like table for sitting and eating The bathrooms were well stocked with shampoo conditioner soaps and makeup remover towelettes and hair dryer My husband was able to set up the nintendo switch for the kids and used our phones to cast movies and shows as the satellite channels were not working AC nice and cold We loved the location too Just walking distance from restaurants shops and a bakery as well as historic Fort Verde which I highly recommend This place is definitely a gem and we will be back

Melissa Medina

Don’t get fooled by the pictures The place is DISGUSTING The bathrooms are filthy with mold

Adobe Hacienda was perfect for our family of 20 Great location right on the golf course in the Village of Oak Creek No neighbors on either side made it very private

The Hacienda was well stocked with lots of snacks and misc items for us upon arrival The included breakfast was excellent, and the staff were very friendly David Ramos, the property manager, was very helpful and responded immediately with any questions I had He also presented us with the option of grocery delivery, shuttle service to trailheads, on site messages, etc We were very pleased with our accommodations and would definitely stay here again!

Fantastic, smaller inn! Staff was friendly and attentive, there’s a seasonal salt water pool, a gazebo with picnic tables and grill, and a fountain where you can refill your water bottles with filtered water Our room was clean, comfortable, and spacious, and included a kitchenette, which was great for saving some money on meals! The location is good: close to restaurants, stores, and the uptown, but set back from the road, so it’s quiet Will definitely stay here again!

Michele Engelskirch

We loved staying here briefly while visiting Jerome, we had the best room ever, it was super quiet and very chill We want the same room again, we loved the room away from everything We were close to food and gas, and not too close to hear traffic it was a very nice area off the main drag

Very clean and had everything even a refrigerator for our waters The bed was super comfortable And the AC works great!!!! Thank you so much!!!!

Robin Armstrong

This was a great place to stay It was relaxing, and clean It was perfect for my family

We stayed in the apartment Plenty of space for the five of us Newly updated Enjoyed the saltwater pool Used the grill under the gazebo to cook dinner They had our pack and play already in the room when we checked in Best of all, they knew me by name Personal touch

We can’t say enough about our wonderful stay at Origins Bed and Breakfast! It was a perfect venue for our anniversary Jeff and Karen made our stay so special- with a balloon, ‘love’ decor, chocolate strawberries, table decor and lovely sentiments on our wonderful breakfast selections Our room was purely a delight! We truly felt like we were living in a canyon with ‘rock’ walls and waterfall features in the spa tub and huge shower

The bed was so comfortable and the bedding luxurious The private patio has outstanding views All the grounds are meticulously cared for, and the common areas are welcoming and comfortable The breakfasts were outstanding as well as beautifully presented-three courses of delight to send us off to sightseeing around the area Karen and Jeff are wonderful hosts–so accommodating, and helpful with ideas for wineries, dinner places, and other treasure spots to visit They are a wonderful couple who work so well together, and have built a great home and business to share with all of us!

What a perfect way to spend my birthday! Karen and Jeff have thought of everything is this wonderful bed & breakfast from a blue tooth speaker in the room to games and hiking guides in the common room The breakfasts were so good and well thought out My room was technically the small one but I had plenty of space to keep to myself in my room or on my own patio or joining others in the common room or large shared patio with fireplace

I will be coming back!

Karen has awesome culinary skills, and every breakfast she creates is a work of art Will we be back???? You bet…… but not soon enough!!
