Came here to camp the night before starting the Condor Trail and I’d go to great lengths never to make that mistake ever again Small cramped sites and no enforcement of noise issues even well after quiet hours left us listening to blaring music and large groups yelling even after midnight Large sections of the campground were packed wall to wall with tents

If you don’t mind all of that it did have pay showers and laundry in the bathrooms

Space

Went here for my first camping experience A medium amount of land with plenty of camping lots Lots aren’t very big, only about two medium/large tents fit alongside a car or two

It’s a bit difficult to navigate the area at night, however if you are having trouble finding your lot, look to the road floor for the lot numbers There is no signal which can be seen as a plus or negative depending on how you prefer to camp There are available bathrooms, showered, and clothes washers/dryers available for use Only the bathrooms are free, everything else requires quarters to use Each camping lot has a fire pit Bring everything you might need, the closest store is a small liquor store which only sells food and drinks The lake is good for fishing, not so good for swimming There is also a makeshift oath alongside the right of the lake Overall a good time and good utilities

Melissa Ochoa

Camp ground was pleasant and huge we stayed with full hookups there’s only a few of these spots

Nice drive,no service area but they offer wifi as for the lake it wasn’t what I expected the beach area is small and it was windy so it kinda made it more an of a drag to sit there with the kiddos and enjoyRangers are always on duty and can help find your spot when you arrive afterhour’s

This hotel definitely exceeded my expectations The reviews that people wrote about the rooms being dirty, infested with cockroaches, unfriendly staff is completely untrue If you choose a smoking room, yes It will smell like smoke that’s why it’s a smoking room

If you choose a nonsmoking room it wont Simple For the price and location of this hotel it is more then reasonable If you are expecting this place to be luxurious you are mistaken No 4 or 5 star hotel in LA is going to cost 140 dollars per night so for the price this hotel was very good Not very far from the mall, amusement parks, or the beach The cleaning crew also was always cleaning and maintaining the rooms, the furniture and location is older which may explain slight stains or squeaky furniture Yes the wifi is changed every 24 hours but you can go to the office and ask for it The breakfast was small, just some different flavored danishes, yogurt, and coffee but most hotels for this price don’t even serve breakfast at all so it is more then reasonable The staff was very friendly unlike some reviews that said otherwise The pool was clean as well as the jacuzzi The hotel is in an older area but it is nowhere near “ghetto” as people say This hotel was not a 5 star hotel I would say it is a 2 star hotel but it was clean, staff was friendly, and it is not bad place to stay if you are only planning on staying a few nights

Getting there was a cinch Parking was OK The place seemed full when I arrived but mid-day it was empty

We were able to enjoy the pool The night staff was nice and accommodating but the gal at front desk was not the nicest I’ve worked front desk and we always went above and beyond This was not the case We were being charged per 30 minutes and then per hour after checkout when they were clearly understaffed The room we were staying in wasn’t even cleaned until we’ll after 3pm, although checkout is at 11am Our car was being towed Anyway customer service and compassion is lacking in the one individual that doesn’t mean the place itself is horrible Cleanliness was decent not excellent and the first room I walked into had broken lamps

I rate this hotel a 3/5 I took off 2 stars for the following reasons:- upon arrival- we found an old/used wash cloth hanging on top of the shower curtain We also found trash on the floor behind a chair in our suite as well as leftover cutlery from Panda Express (still in plastic at least) on the counter where our sink/coffee maker was

That didn’t make us feel confident that our room was actually clean- breakfast staff The lady walking around cleaning up tables was pleasant Very friendly actuallyMy issue lies with the women making omelets For some odd reason- they seemed annoyed whenever we’d ask for bacon or sausage They weren’t friendly, and their facial expressions/body language/tone of voice just made us all feel uncomfortable I have no idea why they don’t put the bacon/sausage out with the rest of the breakfast items in the main area Especially since they don’t use the fresh sausage/bacon in the omelets themselves Seems odd to keep them in the omelet area and not let people know that it’s there Almost seems as if they’re hiding it for whatever reason

Breakfast here was way better than at Homewood suites(another Hilton hotel that is right next to this one) Really good location 5 min away from Six Flags Basic small little gym

The bar is really nice, lots complementary drinks between 5pm and 6:30pm happy hourDefinitely could not come back here with small kids just because I felt the windows are really dangerous and kids love playing by the windows, so basically we had to take turns to supervise our small children every second we were there(while they were awake) and not enjoy much the stay I definitely come back to stay alone or with my girlfriend 100%

Autumn Karas

The breakfast service was amazing and very clean The rooms were a good size and clean as well Nice pool and hot tub

Beautiful bar and dining area Sunday brunch with mimosas and bloody mary s Guest laundry was a plus and they had phone pay so no need for changeNeed to update the TV s in the room and maybe add more USB ports The gym was missing items Overall a nice and elegant hotel

There is no maid services in this hotel No clean towels, shampoo ran out the first night Need anything? You have to go the front desk and ask for it

No one clean up your trash There is no remote control for the TV Neighbor is very loud particularly there is no TV in our room to overcome other noises Took my shower at around 8:00 pm, the water is cold Breakfast is good with hot food and lots of choices Staff friendly Room filthy due to lack of cleaning with oily fingerprints on furniture Water marks on the bathroom floor Both key cards not working the second night No maid services but the maid opened our door at 8:30am to “check” on I don’t know what Good location not too far from the freeway Lots of restaurants nearby In-and-Out Burger across the street Outback Steakhouse next door The cost is around $200/night I gave one star because cleanliness and services are two areas that I rated the most important for a hotel This one has none of those

Doug Gallardo

Friendly staff, clean updated hotel:I was very happy with the hotel’s updates The furniture and carpet wasn’t old and worn out, and everything was clean! There was always someone cleaning floors and carpets during late morning/early afternoon Most of all, everyone was happy there – friendly! Unlike some hotels, I was treated like a welcome guest

Golfkat B

Great hotel with friendly staff I had a quiet and comfortable room Would like healthier breakfast options (less processed), but this is what you get everywhere

The coffee in the lobby is improving (I have low expectations and usually cannot drink it, this was drinkable)Thanks for a great stay

I stayed here with my son and husband and it was a very nice placeThey had a mini fridge in the room and a microwave as well as a desk which was perfect for workThe windows have shutters which look really nice and have great insulation

Highly recommend! Will be staying here when we go to Six Flags again as it’s location was very convenient

Spenser Landis

I stayed here a few weeks ago and had no complaints for this place The rooms we had were nice, beds comfy, water pressure food in the showers The rooms were clean when we arrived

There is limited parking on premises, so be wary of that, but you can park on the street next to it if need be Staff were very friendly and helped with any issues we had When we were leaving, they were updating the buildings, painting all the trim along the buildings and made it look very nice I will definitely be looking to stay here again next time I head to Six Flags with my family

Braedyn

A friend and I stayed here – room 201, after driving 1,500 miles from Nebraska First off, little to no parking, especially for U-haul trucks After crawling up the stairs from exhaustion, we were greeted with 2 cockroaches that needed to be killed

As well as, another cockroach scurrying under the bed Oh, don’t forget the used cotton swabs on the floor too The bathroom had an odd stench and the shower nearly completely flooded the floorAdditionally, the property had several security flaws including doors being propped open, homeless individuals freely walking into the ice/laundry room, etc When confronting one of the managers who handles guest complaints, we were informed that there’s “nothing he can do because service has already been completed” However, we reached out to him the same day to handle these concerns We were then informed to have brought it up during check out but “service had already been completed”, so what difference would it have made? Not to mention that we were having language barrier issues with the motel worker at the time as wellBeyond dissatisfying experience, especially due to the absence of customer service from management Based on the responses gathered from management, they’re conducting highly deceptive business practices I would never return or recommend this motel to anyone

A very nice place to rest your head at the end of a looong drive! I called on the last minute as I we decided to stop for the night on our way north Lady at the front desk was so personable, very pleasant to talk to, her name is Sydney She immediately arranged our accommodation as soon as we arrived, making all my request happen- a room on the first floor, close to parking

She delivered world class Guest Hospitality!! Keep up the good work Sydney!! It was a very clean room, nicely furnished, amenities- microwave, coffee maker, fridge, etc The bed was very comfy- firm but not too hard on the body, plenty pillows I gave a 3 star for the location as it was quite aways from food places, kind of a hassle to drive 2 mi to get something to eat We shall definitely be stopping here again on another trip, get food before we check in👍!!!

James Bond

No body wash, no hand soap, no shampoo, the HVAC filter was disgustingly plugged dirty! No complimentary breakfast! The room stank! This is the lowest quality in the area! I have stayed in all the other local hotels and this is the worst and will be the last time i ever stay here! Paid 280 for a bed! Trust me people stay elsewhere you wont regret it! The one across the street is amazing, we stayed there and they are absolutely great at the Embassy suites!! The Court yard is garbage!!!!

Chris Cloutier

This place is horrible Nothing special about the rooms and beds are VERY uncomfortable They don’t even come and clean the rooms except for a couple days a week

They do not empty trash, make beds, clean, or even replenish your towels You have to call them for everything and they are so rude They serve food for 3 hours a day and there is no room service so have to go offsite to eat Our sink got plugged so we called to have them fix it They were so rude and never came and fixed the sink 1 star horrible place You can barely call this a hotel since they do not offer any of the perks a hotel offers

I stayed for 1 night and I had a pretty good experience with this hotel The front desk staff were VERY friendly and welcoming really enjoyed talking to them The pool and spa were nice and clean and plenty of space

The room was for the most part very nice and clean plenty of space and plenty of USB ports to charge all your devices I would recommend staying here but I did just have a couple of small issues The bathroom vent was dirty, there was a bag over the smoke detector when I showed up and I do not smoke, and the toilet had a peice broken Other than that though I had a great stay and will be staying again next time I come down

elesia lang

I have no idea how this motel even has 3 stars, where to begin The rooms are cheaply, sloppily thrown together and filthy! Everytime the person above me used the sink my drain would let up this smell of rotten eggs and sewage that completely filled the entire room Even with the bathroom vent constantly on there was no way to cover that putrid smell

The “continental breakfast” was literally a banana and granola bar Seriously that was it Meanwhile the guy behind the counter was eating a bowl of Cheerios so clearly we know where his priorities are Speaking of priorities they have a NO CAT policy They allow dogs but no cats which makes ZERO sense That’s like saying we only allow boy children, no girls You cannot discriminate against a certain animal it’s either no pets at all or all pets welcome They even tried to turn me away with my registered service cat I had to tell them that was illegal and make the front desk contact the owner Which the front desk lady was nice and the wifi was fast but for $120 a night you’re better off literally anywhere else This place is a joke

Emilie MLE C

Not a great experience at all… didnt enjoy my stay this hotel is not to stay for 2 nights or more its pricy left second day of my stay i couldn’t handle it

also not cleaned what so ever!! i found pieces of long hair in the towels so nasty asked for new towels ihad to come down to front desk and get them and i found a hair strand again staff was rude also front desk has attitude not a great customer service at all… ! bed sheets were stained stains that can’t take off like really? i don’t like complaining, but this one got me i would not recommend staying for more than one night… room needs to be more clean and fresh place needs improvement i was very disappointed with this place hope they improve on the rooms

My family and I stayed here to go to six flags in the morning Excellent location, near a bunch of food options and the heart of the townVery clean and new furniture

Loved that the room did not have carpet Staff is super friendly and they have just about everything you could need if you forgot anything from homeCheck it out, definitely worth it The price was stellar too for how nice the hotel was Very impressed

Kaitlin Hansen

This was a very nice place to stay Everything was clean and the service was absolutely wonderful! There was a worker at the front desk (I believe her name was Liz) who was absolutely wonderful She always had a smile on her face and ready to help right away

The beds were comfortable and the rooftop area was beautiful We will definitely stay here again

Chamba

Nice little hotel next to the old town center Great location The interior is modern, and clean

The cleaning staff cleaned the room everyday The gym is small, but well equipped to get the job done The only thing that might irritate someone is the occasional train noise It’s not often (once or twice a day) but you’ll hear the noise if your room is facing the street It didn’t bother me, but for someone sensitive to noise they might Overall great stay Will stay there again

I don’t usually write a lot of reviews, but I wanted to share my great experiences here at Residence Inn I work as a travel nurse, and I’m always looking for a safe, clean and comfortable place to call my home away from home I like to pack light, so I’m looking for a place that has all the amenities I need to make that possible

Residence Inn has all in this location! The suites offer a full kitchen with all the supplies I needed to cook meals, coffee maker stocked with coffee, and a dishwasher so I wasn’t spending my time off doing dishes The suite was perfect sized for 1-2 people I would say, with lots of storage, and the bed is SO comfy! I need to find out how to buy the mattress topper and pillows they have for my own home, because they’re so soft and cozyI also appreciated that the large and spacious lobby offers plenty of comfortable seating, along with a bar serving drinks and food in the evening, and a complimentary hot breakfast in the morning This was a huge selling point for me, as it was very convenient for me that I could go have a drink and food there at the end of the day, and eat their delicious hot breakfast in the morning before heading to a busy day at workEverything about how the hotel is run is perfectly From the friendly customer service at the front desk checking me in, to times when I needed something and I was quickly helped, to the Super clean rooms, great breakfast and bar, I can’t say enough about how much I have enjoyed staying here Special thanks to Luanna for so kindly helping me with my reservations, Donna for making the best breakfasts and being so friendly in the mornings, and Robert at the bar/restaurant for his delicious drinks and great service This place is the best around, and I highly recommend!

Quick stopover on our way from SF to SD- Booked standard studio suite using Marriott points No upgrade (didn’t ask either since it was a quick stopover)

No acknowledgement of status (Gold) upon check-in- Since I was traveling with my parents, needed an extra set of bedding This was provided by the front desk staff and I had to carry it up stairs myself (not a big deal, but expected it in the room or delivered) Since I had put 3 guest on the reservation, I feel they should have at least placed it on the sofa prior to arrival, or offered to send it up- Room was mostly clean, spacious, and well stocked The property is fairly new so overall the environment is pretty good Nothing too fancy, sofa bed definitely isn’t as good as Hyatt House Cupertino, but it is fine for a quick overnight stop- Noticed toilet was not fully flushed, there was still toilet paper in there (but nothing else thankfully) Not sure what happened- Complimentary breakfast: very standard, although I did notice some fruit didn’t seem too fresh Could be improved, especially the scrambled eggs and coffee- Parking was easy and free – has covered and outdoor parking There is EV charging if needed (not supercharger), although a Tesla supercharger location is only 6 min drive from hotel if needed (at a shopping center)- Location is right off the 5 freeway, super convenient for overnight stay

Rebecca Landeros

I was very happy with the room and service The rooms are nice and spacious and very clean The staff was very nice and professional

The location doesn’t give for the greatest view but it’s close to Magic Mountain so perfect for a stay after a fun day My room was on the freeway side but I couldn’t hear the traffic at all I highly recommend this hotel

Some of the rooms are good, others not so much For instance, in one of them there were some bugs Some of the staff are a bit on the warmer side, while others will make you wonder if they are going to find a reason to throw you out and keep your money

What really bothers me is the parking fee and in addition they charge it every day that you’re there, and this is a common practice among many hotels but it really should be illegal It maybe listed in whatever site that you are looking at but it’s definitely in the fine print, so you may want to double check to make sure you’ve read everything If you’re not aware of it it’s always a surprise when you check in and if you have a non refundable it’s not always convenient The breakfast is not free I just don’t suggest bringing any pets or animals with you in fact it’s confusing because on the website we booked through this hotel said they had a very strict no pets policy but then they let you bring your animals with no fee This hotel still has a good rate, but they could use some improvement and again the parking fee is troublesome There is no ventilation in the rooms and some of them have an albeit very strong smoky smell

Edward James Trovada

Place is way overpriced for what it is A very old, outdated hotel The rooms, carpet, and decor are clearly decades old

They charge $15 for their breakfast “buffet” which has less things in it than most hotels give you in complimentary breakfasts even what they did provide was mediocre at best, the oatmeal and the syrup were both watery, and the waffle maker was not well maintained if you want any kind of egg, potato, or meat, you have to pay extraTheir “restaurant” is a straight up dive bar, and the food there was, again, mediocre Heck, they even watered down the ranch that came with my onion rings, and my bbq bacon cheeseburger was completely falling apartThe service was hit or miss depending on who helped us at the front, but it was usually an attitude of making us feel stupid for things I asked where the restaurant was for the drink coupons I had and to utilize my $25 credit for food The front desk person told me I have to go outside and around the corner to the bar like it was obviousno lady, what is obvious is the area marked “restaurant” would he where I’d go to get foodEvery time I think I’m sufficiently lowering the bar enough for expectations, something else keeps lowering it more

Richard Balko

This place was a bit priceyThe room I stated and could have been much cleaner If they lowered the price I would stay there again

I’m so glad to be out of Southern California All citizens in California are being burned over prized for items Needed to live on Gasoline prices are insane The cost of living there is out of sorts And overpriced Animal wage should be much higher This is what I meant earlier saying citizens of California in zip California are being ripped off

Continental breakfast had a wide range of variety and cleanliness was a priority by the hotel Highly recommend staying at this hotel, made our trip that much efficient and memorable

Had room reservation for 4 people but only 1 towel in bathroom A/C didn’t work for half our stay, room was very hot and uncomfortable, it finally worked on our last day Beds were pretty good

Friendly desk staff day and evening and nice size outdoor pool Breakfast was very ordinary, good location with free trolley to magic mountain and ice water in the lobby

David Hedrick

No idea how anybody leaves a bad review of this place The hotel is basically brand new Even smells new

Room was clean and modern Staff was noticeably courteous (as in you could tell they were trying to go above and beyond) For the price, you won’t find a measurably better experience elsewhere And it’s right across the freeway from Six Flags

We stayed a week in the hotel, the hotel was very clean and nice, indoor and out, the staff was friendly Outdoor pool and relaxing area was absolutely beautiful and even more gorgeous at night Loved that they had breakfast for their guests every morning, the only down fall with that was it was the same things over and over, but everything was good just wish it had a more healthier selection and a little more variety but still good

They loaned us a fan for our room, which we really appreciated cause we sleep with one and without one would have been miserable so that was so very appreciated Our overall experience was above average, so thank you all for making our California stay a wonderful relaxing one Highly recommended and we will come again

Shirley Dong

This hotel appears to be pretty new The design and the furniture are very modern We stayed here two nights for six flags magic mountain after our San Diego trip

The bed is very comfortable, the room is extremely spacious with big closet which can fit almost all of our luggages The bathroom has shower room only which might be challenging for family with kids like us The breakfast has lots of selections and meets the typical Marriott standard But the hotel is not the cleanest one among all that we have stayed since this year The maintenance/ cleaning group needs to work hard to protect Marriott brand The front desk staff was super helpful and friendly They were here to help address any concern you have

Timothy Bee

Close to magic mountain and pretty quiet considering it’s next to the freeway They had a good breakfast buffet and plenty of seating both indoors and outThe hotel is quiet and one of the newer properties

Our room had plugs everywhere for charging devices The wifi was pretty good as well Parking is free and plentiful

Stayed here for 3 nights and enjoyed all the time at the hotel Traveled to universal a couple times that wasn’t a issue and traveled to the beach that wasn’t to far either Room was clean and breakfast was good

They switched the meat up everyday so it was different I would give it a 5 star experience if the rooms were a little more quiet You could hear neighbors a bit walking and all that But all in all me and my family had a good time

Quite possibly the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in Outside is super run down The first room we got smelled so musty with a mixture of mildew and cigarettes

We have a baby with us so this was not acceptable We ask for another room and we get moved Smells a little less bad but still not the best Low and be hold around 10 pm (our baby is asleep at this point) and the ceiling starts leaking! Pouring water all over our clothes, the floor, chair and more… inches from where our daughter slept in her pack n play For over $200 for our one night stay, this is absolutely ridiculous Would have stayed at a Motel 6 for better conditions at more than half the price

The hotel is very clean, the front staff was very friendly The rooms are simple, and look in reasonably new condition I feel like this is the kind of hotel for travelors or people passing through that JUST need a clean place to stay that is near the freeway

I was needing a place to stay for a night for business and was really looking forward to the pool and swimming and laying out in the sun Which turned out to be not goodThe pool looked yellowish brown and the water had a weird urine odor and was ice cold The area around the pool was okay the cabanas were torn to shreds and black with filth The pool area is shaded by many trees and combined with the small area there was practically no sun which might be the reason the water was so cold I mean the daily temperatures are in the high 90s and low 100s for the past few weeks
