The location is good and the views are probably better from the front side of the hotel My room looked over the courtyard which proved to be incredibly noisy because they had weddings the weekend of my stay I imagine on the street side is pretty noisy on the weekends as well being that it’s in a party district

Also if you stay on the third floor, be forewarned that there is a gym on this floor (does not belong to the hotel) Was woken up by the sounds of weights being thrown around early in the morning Not a lot of space to hang clothes We had some food catered by the hotel for business meetings Breakfast was unremarkable and the lunch was downright terrible The bed was comfortable and the room seemed clean

Dale at the Front Desk always makes my stay here all the better, he goes above and beyond, making sure our stay is smooth, comfortable, and enjoyable! He always engages with his hotel guests, and ensures their stay is to their liking… I’m always happy to see Dale at the desk when I arrive to check in! Thank you all at Desk; the House and suite keepers too, they do a pretty good job too at keeping the room tidy🙏🏾

The location is a 5, with lots of restaurant and night life options, and it’s really cool that the fitness center is essentially a Cleveland Browns NFL work out center, but several other elements of our stay missed the mark Some examples are that the room was not ready even at 4pm, the safe did not work until maintenance came up, no hair dryer, nothing to stir the in room coffee and cream, and the Friday late arrive and Sunday early departure triggered a 3 day parking fee for $35/night That seem odd since we were not even there for 48 hours

The nice front door staff adjusted that error but I would have hoped that I would not have to ask for the adjustment So, overall, some real positives but the things to give it 5 stars were just not thereVictorB

We had a mixed experience staying here The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were too small The shower was a nice walk-in, but the curtain wasn’t weighted, so it kept “blowing” open and letting water escape

Food was provided in the morning and evening, but the area was a madhouse during those times Valet parking was easily accessible, but priced high ($35 per night) The hotel was kept clean, but they used scents in the hallways, which can be triggering for fragrance-sensitive individuals We generally enjoyed our stay, but the roof leaks (we were on the top floor during a storm) So, slightly recommended, but if you stay away, I won’t blame you

Denise Dillon

My first time staying at this location Hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly We had a queen room

Room was clean and spacious The bed was comfortable Evening kickback was a huge perkdrinks and food for the family Only 2 cons was parking and the pool No parking lot, they do have valet parking for a nightly price, we did not utilize this service Also the pool was supposed to be heated but the temperature was too cold to swim Otherwise we will definitely stay again!

Dejan Braki

Excellent central location in a historic edifice in walking distance to almost all attractions Plenty of restaurants aroundSpacious room with all amenities you need, as well the bathroom

Pool was heated, very pleasant to swim and fair in size, along with the hot tubBreakfast is very good, but the biggest bonus is their Kick back at 530 PM – a light supper (great soup, hot dogs, shredded pork, potatoes, nachos, salads), after which you really don’t need dinner so you save some bucksParking is around 40$ – valet only, but we parked our car on the street in front of the hotel by the meter (free from 6 PM to 7 AM, after 7 AM 2$ per hour)

Lindsey Simpson

The hotel itself was nice, I loved the room For the most part, it was clean and the breakfast was good The reason I am giving the hotel two stars is because I suspect theft after requesting room service from the hotel

I had a piece of jewelry tucked away before room service and after packing the jewelry box and bringing it back home we unpack it and a pair of earrings were gone from it I wouldn’t be so mad if they weren’t my grandmothers who had passed last year and the ones I wore in my wedding They were not worn or taken out the rest of the trip so who else would have taken them out? Just be mindful when staying here about your belongs and who enters your room!

Crystal Hamilton

Rooms seemed visibly clean at first, until we started noticing cup stains on counters, someone else’s hair on the nightstand, dirty counters behind ice bucket and coffee machine Hot tub was visibly filthy with smelly, musty water Scent used in hotel smelt clean at first, but started to make me feel sick after a few days

Could use some hot items on breakfast menu for the price Pool was fine, as well as fitness center Beds seemed clean and comfortable There was a small bug crawling on my son’s pillow – not sure if it was a bed bug or not No bites TV is in bad position in relation to beds Our daughter slammed her finger in the sliding bathroom door – has no stopper and slides very fast if not familiar with that kind of door like our daughter Staff pleasant Housekeeping friendly and accommodating

Scott Stallings

We found the hotel was clean, the room was spacious, and the staff was friendly Look at the pictures closely because the one bedroom is a studio room with a bathroom It’s not like Residence Inn or other Marriott properties where one bedroom is actually one bedroom

The only separation between a couch and bed is a desk with a tall backing On this basis, the room with two queen beds could be listed as a two bedroom

One of the smallest bathrooms I’ve ever seen in a hotel The room is so small they put the coffee maker in the bathroom! The room looked old and the beds were not soft It other than that, though the window was partially open when we arrived

I didn’t know they could even have windows that open anymore? I haven’t seen that in years! Parking ramp to the downstairs area was super steep and curvy! Our van barely made it back up even on a dry day and no snow! I was glad there was a lobby area with a television so I could watch tv after my wife and kids had gone to sleep already No pool, which was a bit of a bummer The breakfast was your typical breakfast food My kids and I were happy we could make waffles!

Melissa Rosen

I can’t for the life of me understand why there are good ratings of this place It looks nothing like the photos online My coworkers and I were forced to stay here during a work trip and we were all horrified

It feels dirty and has a faint stale smell, the kind you get from a hotel that hasn’t changed its carpets since the 80s Every time I dropped an item on the floor, I cringed The curtain in my room wouldn’t open properly, so the room was super dark (probably to help hide some of the stains on the floor and walls) Turning on a light made no difference There’s not even a safe in the room, which I thought was bare minimum for most hotels I think the heater/ac used to be white, but is now a faint yellow color and is completely useless and switches on and off every minute, making sleeping harder than it already was with the constant temperature dropsThe only positive thing I can say is that the bed and sheets seemed new and were pretty comfortable But it was not enough to help feel relaxed and comfortable in such a bleak, grungy room

Kayla Locke

Staff was very friendly but rooms are dated Blankets, pillows and curtains had stains and my sheet had hair all over it If the curtains weren’t open when lights were on it feels like a dungeon

The coffee maker is in the bathroom 😬 The tub wasn’t draining while I was showering so the bathtub was filling up, it would drain after To get to the parking in the basement it is a very narrow drive, they have parking across the street but there was an event so we had to park in the basement Hotel is close to everything and in a good location

The InterContintal Suites Hotel of Cleveland, on Euclid Ave is a great place to stay To start your stay off the valet parking staff meet you at your car If you have a lot of luggage the doorman will assist you to your room

Then when you come in to front desk for your check-in At the front counter is there to truly help you in a difficult time and sometimes first stay to be seen at the Cleveland Clinic Once in the room they are very spacious whether it be, 2 full size beds or a king size room Rooms are very clean If you would have an issue call the front desk My second stay our air conditioner broke at about 11 pm It was no one’s faulty I called the front desk then apologized and moved us down the hall for 2 more nights Yes it was an inconvenience but they took care of us and made it right The 3rd stay, I had a question on how to handle having a mid-morning appointment, and not wanting to check out till after my appointment Joshua Taylor, Front Desk Manager this evening, he took great care of me and was able to get me a later check out I greatly appreciate all of the pleasant friendly staff members that work here Please note: They ask you to please where a mask in the public areas It is for your safety but many to protect patients like myself from getting any sicker and not being able to beat any respiratory issuesVery close walking to main entrance if you so choose (10 minutes) or the Cleveland Clinic has shuttles that will pick you up at the front door of the hotel Please allow 20-30 minutes for a ride to your closest entrance for your appointment No need to have your car while here The C2 restaurant has awesome food, and great staff Please don’t forget to tip your valet parking staff and the doorman if you use them

KT

When I saw how close it was to Cleveland clinic I was worried about hearing ambulances all night long, but i didn’t Everyone was friendly, from valet to front desk to the house keeping we ran into on our way out Our bed was crisp and clean, as was the rest of the room

We felt welcome and safe staying here, and next time I want to stay at a suite I know exactly where to go

B R

Mostly a good experience Room was very comfortable Bed was most comfortable I had ever had at any hotel

Very convenient for visiting my family member at Cleveland Clinic Arrived late at night Tried to order room service Made numerous attempts to contact room service Kept getting the run around Asked for a menu Was told they would bring one right up Never saw it Staff (Josh) at front desk was superb Got us a menu for a pizza place He even stayed late to make sure we got our order Took the hotel shuttle to the clinic twice One experience was good The other was horrible The woman who was running the shuttle was incredibly rude

I was looking for a weekend getaway and didn’t want to go far, I ended up booking here and exploring downtown for the night Very reasonably priced compared to the other hotels in the neighborhood, room was clean and stocked with proper amenities although I would have liked some shampoos provided for the shower Receptionist was very nice, very personable, and made us feel welcome

Room is updated and modern, entertainment in the room is spot on (you have the choice to purchase movies, look at live TV and various other features) and like on every trip, I inspected the Keurig machine in the room Most hotels don’t clean them very well, I was shocked to find the one in my room spotless! This was my first trip I felt comfortable using the machine, this earned instant brownie points with me Gym and lounge are nice, beautiful courtyard to relax and sit by the fire I would book again!

jennifer burks

Completely re-done hotel! We used to stay here regularly when it was a Radisson, and everything was outdated The rooms are now very nice Comfortable beds and nice furniture

Front desk staff and valet were friendly and helpful Breakfast was delicious- we really enjoyed having the made to order menuThe only issue was the elevator Only one of them was in order, which made for a long wait sometimes

Jenny Buchanan

Pretty nice room, one elevator was down the entire time (not so sure they ever get it fixed based off other reviews) Stayed for a conference at the convention center & liked that it was about half a mile away Some good restaurants in easy walking distance but check the hours, most seem to be closed by 10 pm if it isn’t a bar

Valet seems to be the only way to park

The area was very nice and quiet and secluded Upon entering the Glidden House, we were mesmerized by the decor and furnishings We were welcomed warmly

Our New Years Eve was amazing thanks to Tony the bartender and the rest of the great staff Lots of attractions and restaurants nearby so our trip made great memories The rooms in this hotel are beautifully kept up and inviting Definitely would return for another couple nights!

Tony Loret de Mola

Had the pleasure of staying at this gem while visiting Cleveland It was a wonderful experience Rooms were comfortable

The staff was great Breakfast the next day was terrific and the person that cooked the breakfast was also the overall director She was delightful! It was just her third week at Glidden She’s a wonderful example of someone who takes pride in what they do and in meeting the needs of her customers

Bas Debbink

Wanted to go to the Rock and Hall Hall of Fame on the way back from Detroit (by car) and decided on the Glidden House to spend the night I am glad I did as it’s a wonderful place in the middle of the University Campus with lots of food choices within walking distance and only a 10 minute drive to the R&RHoF The rooms were very comfy, if a bit noisy due to the creaking floors (upstairs neighbors), but the suite was very roomy and the microwave and fridge were very welcome

Breakfast was fairly standard but tasty All the staff were very pleasant and helpful This seems to be a popular place for conferences and weddings also, and for good reason

The rooms are very nicely laid out with up to date furniture The king room we stayed in had a large TV mounted on the wall, a safe in the closet and a mini fridge hidden in the dresser under the TV The staff here is very helpful, courteous, respectful and professional

Just wish the windows in the room were cleaner considering we chose the room with a city view Other than that, the room rate was great and they offer a Veteran discount Would definitely stay again (Pics of city taken from room windows)

Perfectly nice Hilton property For being so close to the airport it was very quiet Dedicated nice green area in back to relieve dog

Didn’t like breakfast setup as certain items couldn’t be brought to the room to eat; had to sit down and order to get bacon, for instance, and $10 fee per person anyway unless you were at a certain level in the Hilton family

mike crank

Room was clean and pool area was nice I will say breakfast prices was posted, I just missed it Grabbed a banana and a muffin cost 10 dollars

We booked threw bookingcom only for reservation We got here and the price went from 64800 to 74589 There was also another 2500 withdraw on our debit When we ask about the charges the not so gentleman at the front desk was glad to educate us ( his words ) on the problem and informed us our mistake was we went threw a 3rd party and did not call this Hilton directly I will say every other staff has been very kind and helpful

We had our wedding at the Cleveland Marriott Downtown at Key Tower The service was perfect The Event Manager Cal was with us in every step of the way and answered every request we had

It had a taste of luxury, precision and high care for details All of our guests were super impressed by the reception hall and were taken care of by the staff Food was absolutely tastyRooms were very nice, we were able to get the bridal suite on a high floor and we enjoyed every bit of itWe would very much recommend staying there and hosting your wedding there!

We had a very, very nice two night stay at Marriott Cleveland Downtown at Key Tower The location right across from the statue of The Fountain of Eternal Life was very beautiful and the location is walking distance to everything All the staff, especially the bar staff day and night, was exemplary, being so very friendly

We had three meals at the bar and the food was very good and served so quickly after we ordered We also appreciated that our room was ready prior to the 4:00 pm check-in time and the staff at check-in and out were very helpful The only suggestion I would have is that it would be nice to have a tv channel guide in the room The room and bath was very clean and the bed was very comfortable All-in-all, 4 stars!

Jennifer

Shortly after I arrived I was placed 2 doors down from an incessant loud barking dog that the owners left in the room for 5-6 hrs that wasn’t register and would be there for my entire 2 day stay as a flight attendant I also was having allergic reaction to the feathered pillows and comforter Not off to a good start for my 1st stay

I spoke with Seth (assistant GM) mostly along with his incredible team Angela phone back office, Mary & Amber (front desk) who were all kind, understanding, empathetic, caring and compassionate about the situation Seth went above and beyond to try to accommodate me even though I couldn’t change rooms due to the overbooked capacity Mary and Amber gave me bottled water and a non feathered pillow Seth was extremely helpful to address my concerns and offer support Even the outside front door concierges were all eager to give local guidance, hold open doors and greet me with a warm smile Despite my situation, I felt so cared for and attended to like family What an amazing team! Much respect and gratitude!

I have stayed here twice, the staff is top notch, the rooms are very clean, and the walk in showers are great This trip I enjoyed a corner king suite, and I was living like a rock star The location is perfect for professional sports, pub crawling, our going to the casino

It’s just off the lake, at the river, and there is also a beautiful national park a short drive away I hope to return to enjoy the area some more

I enjoyed my stay here Nice rooms offering ample space & large bathroom Stay was friendly and accommodating

Best part was I could bring my furry dogs I will stay here again I think the only negative were linens were lacking i found a few holes in towels and sheets They also did not smell really clean but I find that at most hotels The smell of fresh linens is wonderful but these smelled like they have been sitting in a closet for months after being cleaned I think their laundry service company could do better 😉

Our best Cleveland hotel experience thus far! Great location (within walking distance to the casino and tons of restaurants and bars), fun, boutique-style decor in lobby and rooms, and very clean Everything seems fresh and modern Complimentary wine hour was also a nice bonus!Valet parking is fairly pricey at $40 a night, but there’s a parking garage right around the corner that we used for $14 a night

The only good thing I have to say is that the rooms are very nice as were the views However they charged an extra 4 nights and when we called to try and get it sorted the woman who answered the phone could not have cared less We offered to bring the bills we received so she could see the difference and errors and her reply was “if it will make you feel better”

Feel better? Its to get credited back the extra charges and show you the discrepancy between the credit card and hotel bills! Also, in a two week stay, the room was half cleaned once I asked several times for it to be cleaned but they only did it when I caught them in the hall And then they didn’t get to the bathroom and just did the room Several of the nights there were loud parties and the walls and floors seem to be paper thin for sound Will never stay there again when travelling to Cleveland

Do not choose this hotel for your wedding block The problems that me and my family experienced will speak for themselves!1 The lock on my room stopped working on check out day so it took HOURS for a maintenance person to come fix the door to get our stuff out (this was the day after my wedding and we had planned to have family over)2

No one to check out guests (my family waited for 30 minutes and the online check out was not working either)3 One of my family members attempted to check in on Saturday at 3pm and they were not able to let her into her room until after the wedding The wedding was at 5pm and she had to get ready in someone else’s room4 Took them over 30 minutes to check me in and when I finally got to my room, it was the wrong one This caused me to be late to MY OWN wedding rehearsal5 Attempted to charge me double and when I corrected them, I was given attitude6 No luggage cart in sight all weekend7 Many of my guests were not given their complimentary hotel bags8 I was specifically told that the bar would be open on Friday and Saturday Like the luggage cart, no bartender in sight all weekend9 I asked and confirmed twice that there would be turnover service Saturday morning on two of the rooms I booked I guess fresh sheets and towels are asking for too much because neither rooms were cleaned for Saturday evening

I didn’t stay at this particular one, however I did call this particular one to see if they had room availability for a particularly difficult to navigate situation (C19 pos, government travel, getting kicked out of my current hotel due to lack of availability) and while they didn’t have availability, their representative “Sunny” absolutely lived up to her name and stayed on the phone with me until I was taken care of fully She was honestly the first person to listen to my situation and not immediately try to shoo me away, and she did an excellent job helping me out and getting me sorted at a different Hyatt locationIf she’s coming up for review for a raise, 10/10 just do it 🙂

Ritz has great service that is why we always frequent them The staff was amazing and so kind We loved Turn bar and kitchen to have our meals

This Ritz is not family oriented and is limited on things to do in the hotel but it is a nice place to stay Many of our lights and electric curtains did not work in our executive suite but the beds were comfortable

Krystle Rose

Great place in Cleveland, and walking distance to everything One of the benefits is that you can walk inside over to Morton’s,’or you can walk inside to the casino all without leaving the building To my knowledge there’s only valet parking, but the staff are friendly

Upon entering and going up to the reception area, you are greeted by a great staffThe gym is large with a separate weight room, as well it’s equipped with 2 peloton bikes, and rowers as wellThe rooms are roomy and spacious what you expect from the ritzHighly recommended if in the Cleveland area

We stopped at the Ritz driving through on a road trip back home because my wife had COVID We booked the ritz because of all our wonderful past experiences at other properties We were not disappointed either

Wonderful in room dining, clean/comfortable room The staff was so kind as my wife was really not feeling great No extra charge for having COVID but let them know prior to you arrival so they are aware Thank you Ritz Cleveland for a great nice of rest for my wife and I

I highly recommend anyone visiting Cleveland to stay here! From the moment we walked in we felt very welcomed and taken care of These people understand Customer Service In a world that has forgotten what that is, Tudor Arms Hotel is a wonderful reminder on how it can be done right! From the front desk to the shuttle driver, restaurant workers, cleaning service – all were very kind and went out of their way to be of service to us

I was there with my daughter who was having surgery at the Cleveland Clinic This place was so accommodating, kind and helpful to us Their rooms were clean, big and very comfortable Their restaurant was good in both food and service I want to give a huge shout out to Alyssa from the front desk who was so helpful and very intuitive in all that she does Every hotel should have an Alyssa!! We have follow-up appointments at the clinic and there is no doubt in our mind where we will be staying

Christa K

Lovely, interesting, and beautiful! I am truly enjoying Hilton’s Tapestry collection and this one did not disappoint! Staff was amazingly friendly and helpful Rooms were very clean and well put together My only complaint, which is minimal is that we had a corner room and one of our windows did not have a heave drape so in the morning sunlight was hitting us directly in the face

Room 1004

I love staying in historic hotels – meaning buildings with a history They have an ambiance that newly built hotels do not have Tudor Arms was no disappointment! Restoration to the building was done keeping a lot of the old ambiance alive

The staff was friendly and the rooms were spacious and clean and the price was reasonable for the amenities provided

Recently stayed for 3 days/2 nights for a family trip Absolutely loved our stay Very kid friendly

Some of the reviews listed stated there were no mini fridges/microwaves in the room so we were a little worried, but when we got to our room we did have a mini fridge and microwave The complimentary breakfast every morning was great and had a lot of different options, my picky 3 year old loved it Customer service from check in to check out was great, everyone was very friendly Being in the middle of downtown it was so close to everything we just walked pretty much everywhere aside from the zoo/aquarium Most of the restaurants were a quick 5-10min walk Downtown can be noisy at night but that’s no fault of the hotel The only “complaint” I would have is the price for the valet, $37 Thankfully you do not have to use that service if you don’t want to Aside from that our stay was great and would definitely come back again

Our family of 6 had a wonderful stay! The suite was very spacious The location was perfect as we could walk to restaurants and entertainment It was a ten minute walk to Rock and Roll Hall of Fame

The breakfast was delicious and included produce, blueberry or vanilla waffles, eggs, bacon, oatmeal, pastries, etc We were even gifted giant cookies at check-in They offer vaket parking at nearly $40/night but we parked at a lot across the street for $10/day Our only complaint was the couch bed needed to be upgraded as you could feel each metal spring

ANDREW Muir

Great location About a 7 minute walk down 9th to the Rock n Roll Hall which is right beside the Brown’s First Energy Centre I personally continued walking right over to the Flats!!If you can get a corner “20” room there is a great view down to the Lake (Pics attached)

Rooms are older but very comfortable The print marketing throughout the property is whimsical and will put a smile on tour face!!Great coffee and a nice little breakfast buffet to start the morning Car Valet Only; however, you have full in/out privileges 👍Many thanks to Amy, Lewis, and Paul for the great hospitality!! Hope to see you again soon 🍻

Very good re-use of a historic building (arcade mall) If you want quiet, make sure your room does not face the front main road as you can hear vehicles with blaring music through the windows during the night Front desk staff was very helpful, even secured our luggage after check out so we could visit the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame without having to put our luggage in our vehicle in the parking garage

We will come back and stay here again

Edie Cavanaugh

The room size was fabulous but in need of many repairs Reported the shower had a really bad leak, was told it would be taken care of Never was

Clothes hook on back of one bedroom door totally knocked off Had to get toilet paper from the front desk because housekeeping didn’t have any Asked for change at the front desk, twice, they had NO money in their cash drawer I was told to ask the valet The workers were very pleasant and polite

Margo Fritz

Our room was located in the Euclid building This is the most customer unfriendly layout I have ever experienced in a hotel We took the elevator from the lobby to the second floor

Walked through the dining area and out a door into the building next door that has various stores located in it We walked along a second floor walkway that looks down on the shopping are for quite some time to a second elevator We took the second elevator to the 4th floor Once we got off the second elevator it was a walk through various halls and up a set of stairs finally to our room Using a luggage cart was not an option The room was not anything like other residence inns I have stayed in It was dirty and needed updated to say the least Some of our pillows did not have pillow cases on them We did not have enough towels in our room for our family, for some reason only 3 were provided I called the front desk and they were supposed to send more, they never came We asked the front desk if there was a better way to our room and she told us there was only one way We experimented with several stairwells to find a more customer friendly way to our room All of the stairwells are disgusting, many cigarette butts, empty beer cans and filth The breakfast was also a disappointment slimy not fully cooked eggs, sausage, waffle in a plastic wrapper and old bananas Upon checkout I was charged for two days of valet when I had only used it once I called to complain and was told that the valet had tickets for each day and it had to be right I was eventually credited after another phone call

The room was small but fine, decor was definitely not to our taste not that it matters Though it was bothersome that not a single light fixture/lamp matched Anyway

The bed was comfortable and the room was clean, large bathroom and lovely shower Staff was friendly and helpful We appreciated that coffee/hot water was available in the lobby at all hours The reason for 3 stars is that the hotel plays music at an extremely high volume in the lobby 24/7 Honestly I don’t know how the desk staff can take it We had to leave very early in the morning to get our son to the Cleveland Clinic for surgery, and it was such an unpleasant way to start the day Music would be fine, but at a much lower volume, especially in the wee hours of the morning All in all a pleasant enough experience, but if I had to do it again I’d pay a little more to stay in a double tree

Tommy J.

Very good hotel Overall, very happy and we would stay againA little more thorough cleaning could be done in the rooms but nothing that was so bad we couldn’t deal with it

Mentioned in survey and I’m sure it will be addressedVery convenient to Cleveland Clinic, friendly housekeepers and desk staff Very quiet and comfortable rooms with good space Nice bright bathrooms and nice waste free toiletries like soap, body wash, shampoo, etc — (in squeeze mounted containers)We will definitely stay here again and are happy to have found this for our often visits to Cleveland Clinic – good value

Andy Shivler

I thought with the “Hilton” name and upscale price the hotel would be very clean, it was not There were food crumbs and stuff on the beds and the floor next to them Hairs in the shower which was pretty gross tbh

That being said, it was a decent room with comfortable beds The continental breakfast was pretty decent in the morning with standard self serve fare We took long showers and never ran out of hot water The staff was polite and helpful
