We had such a great time at Hiwassee Acres!Kathi and David couldn’t have been kinder They made sure we had everything we needed and were such a joy to talk to Our apartment in the lodge was huge and beautifully decorated

The grounds are gorgeous with river access for swimming, kayaks available to use, beautiful spaces to sit and relax, plus so much more that we didn’t have time to do it all It was fun feeding the animals and loving on the Great Pyrenees, Watson Many things to do within an hour drive including scenic drives, waterfalls, and white water rafting Wonderful getaway!

Susana Pereira

Hands down the best family vacation we’ve had This place is a hidden gem, a little “piece of paradise” as I like to think It was so much better than we thought it would be

Kathi and David are the kindest, friendliest people and provided amazing hospitality The house was super nice and clean and had everything we needed There is plenty to do and enjoy on the property (nature walks, hiking, rock wall, fire pit, kayaking, farm animals) We didn’t get to do even half of it We definitely need to stay longer next time! We love love love Hiwassee Acres A beautiful and peaceful retreat So glad we found this place!

Brittany Seeley

I am just so thankful that I caught a video of this gem of a place and looked into it A small group of us booked a stay for a little weekend birthday relaxation and fun I was absolutely blown away with everything

Kathi and David are the sweetest and most accommodating hosts Our unit was very clean and cozy The amount of activities available to us were amazing Disc golf, basket ball, hiking trails, kayaking on the river, bonfire, and getting some fun time with the cutest animals! The property is so beautiful at all times of the day, but especially in the evening when the fireflies are out doing their dance in the field It was just such an all around amazing experience and we are already making plans to go back! Kathi and David, thank you so much for your hospitality and sharing your beautiful life with us We LOVED it!

Staff: friendlyRoom: strong smell of mildew, old cigarette smoke and room spray After 2 to 3 hrs I had a headache and sick to stomach I reported to the front desk and was told that he didn’t smell anything in my room

He was very accommodating and took me to 2 other rooms One smelled the same as booked room and the other was a very light bad smell I chose that one and canceled our reservations for the 2nd nightI was traveling with 2 other people and their rooms smelled bad tooOther than the smelly rooms the place was very acceptable

Because they do not use bleach on the towels and washcloths I was charged $500 per item with anything that had something dark on it even though one of the washcloths already had stains So that means that if a drink or food get spilled and you use the towel to get it off the floor you will be paying 5

00 for each one that isn’t white when you check out NO BLEACH IN THE TOWELS is crazy to me I stay at choice hotels consistently and have never been charged like that Never ever againAlso, the excessive bird droppings and nests were less than desirable

Jay Humphries

I’m disappointed this time Our room (103) didn’t have the Netflix option that room 417 had when I stayed here a few weeks back When I asked about it at the front desk, the person told me she was new and would phone her boss and get back with me, but she hasn’t called the room, and it has been over two hours since I asked about it

Also, our shower water is taking forever to heat up The refrigerator had also not been cleaned out 😪 So, I guess we’ll just continue to sit here and forget the television option and suffer through the water issue

I booked this hotel as a place to stop overnight while traveling from FL to IL I had called ahead to let the hotel know I would probably be arriving late When we arrived the woman at the counter (11pm on 8/5) was super friendly

Our room was clean, but you can tell it is probably older and could use to be updated The bathroom was super clean as well I felt very comfortable staying here My only reason for 4 stars is I felt the pricing was a bit high for being in an older room This is the ONLY reason for 4 stars instead of 5 I would recommend this hotel and would stay again Also, the breakfast was yummy, but the area to sit was smaller

Cathy Goza

This hotel provided a stay that rates among the best our family has ever experienced From the professional and welcoming front desk staff

to the cleanliness of the roomsto the awesome breakfast providedwe enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn in Ootewah, TN thoroughly It is a great location The only thing we would have preferred was to have water in the pool much warmer Thank you to all for this wonderful experience

Anna Anna

Well there was no noise the whole night (weekend night too) The room itself was very clean and nice Breakfast was pretty standard but very good Staff was friendly Beds were very comfortable

This was our second time staying at this facility and this is certainly one of the best Hampton Inn locations I’ve ever stayed at The staff was friendly and helpful, and check in was a breeze The room was clean and everything was in working order

The location is a short drive from I75 and has a vast number of major stores and restaurants nearbyBreakfast was the best hotel offering we’ve experienced in quite some time with a wide variety of options Mini western omelets, sausage patties, biscuits, sausage gravy, hard boiled eggs, an assortment of cereal, warm oatmeal, and a number of pastries They even had gluten-free bagels, which was a huge feature for us as we typically need to skip anything with wheat The breakfast attendant was extremely friendly, welcoming and ensured everything was in orderOverall it was a fantastic experience and we look forward to staying at this location again in the future

We really enjoyed our visit to the Hampton Inn, Cleveland TN We were a group of 8… 3 Adults and 5 small children We had 2 queen rooms and were very comfortable

The staff was friendly but one staff member in particular stood out the most to us, Beryl Beryl was working the front desk when we arrived and immediately was warm and friendly to our very rambunctious family She was helpful throughout our 3 night stay and always greeted us with a smile Thank you Beryl for your kindness and true hospitality We would highly recommend this hotel

Helen Prouty

We satay in this wonderful place one night The staff are extremely friendly , the room was clean The breakfast had a lot of variety

But what I want to emphasize- it was cooked with love and that is what made it very delicious Special THANK YOU to the kitchen staff and Dominik She was nice, polite and me feel like a true mom Atmosphere of love and hospitality was present in the air…My family was blessed Will definitely recommend this place Great thank you for everyone

I have come to love staying at this new brand of hotel with Marriott They are all new with great chic modern styleThis particular hotel I have stayed in a few times in the past and nothing but exceptional service with nice clean comfy rooms and bed

The bathrooms are always spotless the sheets, linen, and pillows are always clean crisp and freshI like how much room these rooms have not even being a suite, but it sure feels like oneI love the new modern design furniture theme everywhere in the hotelI didn’t get to swim because it’s was cold but the outdoor fire pit was invitingThey do have an great restaurant on the property in the evening with drink or a cigar choicesThe breakfast was great but wish they have potatoes everyday with more gluten free options for my allergy I didn’t go away hungry with the big oatmeal bowl full of brown sugar almondsI also love the gym with all the equipment and actually having free weights is always niceI would highly recommend this place and tell them I sent you The only downside is if your a light sleeper there is a train that goes by during the night but they furnish ear plugs tooFantastic place see you there soon

Kelly Bird Fannin

First, the room was spacious and beautiful The beds were great The free breakfast are great along with the breakfast service

Definitely do not get a room facing the freeway, you will hear it Next, they would not clean a room on a 3 day stay no matter how much we asked They would not even pick up wet towels So there you go Front desk was lacking

Lisa Daniel

The room was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful The pool was fantastic and had a bathroom by the pool side The outside sitting area with fire pit was beautiful

The complimentary breakfast was wonderful! I recommend this for a family All five of us fit in the double queen suite and did not fill cramped at all The closet was very spacious and made a great extra changing space

Highly recommend Adventures Unlimited! We stayed in one of the bungalows and it was perfect with the essentials for a good night’s sleep Great shower pressure, awesome porch and fire pit, AC, etc Campgrounds looked great and shaded too

Bus Bar had live music and a great vibe outside for hanging out Rafting was an absolute blast Daniel was our guide and he was incredible and clearly experienced We went down the river with a few other AU boats and you could tell all the guides were very knowledgeable, fun, and safe It was so fun! Jules the GM is wonderful! Owners Julie and Carlo are top notch Love the AU Crew and will be back!

Loftin Davoult

If I had to choose a weekend getaway for Adventures, this place would be the place to do it with From experiencing Rock Daddy on Friday night, camping out, and then rafting the Ocoee Saturday afternoon It was an absolute blast

Our guide for the whole trip was Tyler Raymond and he was absolutely fantastic I enjoyed his confidence on the River which made me feel safe the whole way as well as knowing we had an experienced guide that would make the trip more fun Will definitely be sending people this direction and returning myself

Elizabeth Morton

This was my first time white water rafter It was one of the most fun experiences in my life Ask for Lyn to be your guide!! She was AMAZING funny, asked us about things we wanted to do and how we wanted to experience the River, gave us some really cool info about the history of the area and the nature around us

I felt so safe the entire time, I went from being really nervous to just having a blast because I trusted my guide so easily All the guides are great about sticking together and watching each other and checking in to make sure multiple eyes are on your raft They’re great about teaching you how to paddle and what to do when experiencing different types of water The River itself was beautiful I would say if you’ve never been rafting before and are looking for a fun, adventurous, safe experience this is the place to go!

Deena and the staff take lots of pride in running a clean, safe and enjoyable facility Ive stayed here twice now and there is a reason there is a waiting list! Each time a guest leaves they spend multiple hours detailing the rooms for the next guest They are able to balance each guests individual needs and genuinely care about the tenants

If you act right and keep it clean, it will be your home for as long as you want it to be

Jay Emerson

I would give 4 1/2 stars Overall the staff was very good & responsive The price you can not beat anywhere

And the size is just smidge small (hence 4 1/2 vice 5 stars), but it does have an efficiency kitchen Not the hotel small refrigerator & microwaveI was there about 2 1/2 months For the $ rate find a better place And the staff is always friendly, and available after hoursIts also a gated property – a huge plus

Michael Marthaler

I moved from PA to TN for a job and stayed at Daybreak Inn & Suites for almost 4 months while in training It was exactly what I needed for that period of time and until I could find a place in the area that I wanted/needed to be permanently The office staff was always very friendly and accommodating, and the facility is very secure

Thank you for providing exactly what I needed when I needed it!

I love this particular Holiday Inn Express because they have the most comfortable beds of almost any other hotel I frequent in the state of Tennessee The staff at this hotel are always great, however I would like to recognize and highly commend a relatively recent addition to the team here I’ve stayed here twice in the past two weeks and each time Claire has been at the front desk to greet me and my colleagues

Both times she has been extremely kind and accommodating I’m kind of a needy customer and each time I’ve needed something she’s been glad to help Whether I needed to break a larger dollar-bill, or needed a bottle of water or two, she’s gone out of her way to ensure that my stay is as comfortable as possible Thank you so much Claire, and keep up the good work!

Friendly front desk night clerk, Jason, very helpful and courteous, went above and beyond in assisting us during our stay Employees like that are hard to come by Nice place to stay, room smelled clean and room was comfortable temp when checked in

Definitely earned its 5 stars here Didn’t had chance to taste breakfast but they had cookies during my checkout, definitely its those details that make a difference and set themselves apart from other lodging facilities Definitely saving this spot for next time around

David Smith

I seldom give a five star review but with our overnight stay, I have to say, you have earned this high review First impressions are usually a sign of what is to come Upon entering, we were met with the front manager Sam

She was so nice and informative Great beginning to the overnight stay After checking in, next came the room No complaints here Very clean, updated, and everything worked and in its place Great sleep was to follow The breakfast was good, not great, but definitely hit the spot and set you up for the rest of the day We noticed a very clean an inviting indoor pool To bad we didn’t have time to utilize it Check out was a breeze All in all, great stay and if needing another overnight stay, we will check here first Thanks for the hospitality

Probably one of the best airbnbs we have ever stayed in The host had breakfast items, snacks, and some drinks to start us off We enjoyed seeing the groundhogs right beside the house and a visit from sunny! This is such a cute home and it was perfect for my husband, our 10 year old beagle and myself! We will most definitely be making a trip back soon!

Caitlin Satterfield

If I could leave 0 stars I would We planned this trip for months for a family members birthday she was turning 4 and we are familiar with the area so this was a perfect fit Our stay was very enjoyable and comfortable and all of the accommodations that it came with

It was after we checked out that the problems happened We stayed June 2nd through June 4th – Originally we were supposed to checkout the morning of June 5th but we cleaned most of the day on the 4th and abided by all directions that were given by our host while we were there including stripping our beds and carrying the laundry down stairs even though we pay a cleaning fee Personally me and my boyfriend paid the deposit to use the paddle boards while we were there and locked the lift and the storage room by the dock right after we were done using them They have denied to send us our deposit back saying we did not lock the lift they claim we damaged a shelf that was damaged upon arrival and from the pictures you can see the obvious wear and tear from over time They also complained that we left the microwave and freezer dirty But again we pay a cleaning fee and did our best to wipe everything down and do the dishes before we left We also did not shoot any fireworks during our stay because they had asked us not too after we arrived but we abided by what they asked A coke was spilled but we also had children and said they could gladly keep the deposit to cover that They also messaged a family member after blocking us and said how disappointed they were that we left the place so dirty which is extremely unprofessional Mind you that they are out of town and have been and will be for a while It seems that they should keep a better check on their rental property or their cleaning staff before putting the blame on their paying customers We even wrote a very thankful note in their travel book before we left it is sad that I have to leave this review but this is sad we have been blamed for something we simply did not do and our deposits withheld after spending so much to rent this in the first place

Laura Ellinor

Was the perfect getaway for our family We wished we had booked for longer, we didn’t want to leave! Joanne is the perfect host and has thought of everything The place is so inviting and cozy, love the glass front living room, and the downstairs has much to do in case of a rainy day (ping pong, darts, kids toys, etc

) We will definitely be back!
