I have never had this type of getaway experience before, and I’m a freaking flight attendant!!!!It was so nice, great surroundings, deceiving from the outside but a legit hidden oasis inside! The service!!!! I felt like I was being waited on hand and foot, but never bothered… it was the perfect mix of luxury service and chill!I recommend for any type of getaway, mental break, just generally a debrief! Really enjoyed every meal, drink, massage, and swim! I will definitely be returning!

I can not recommend the Korakia Pensione enough! Excellent service, quiet, quaint, clean, beautiful spacious grounds, and fun little special touches Not like most hotels these days that nickel and dime you Complimentary breakfast, bottled water and water with fruit was given, a welcome drink, amazing coffee, and free snacks

Staff was very happy to help whenever needed and super friendly Perfect for a romantic getaway, best friend trip, or solo weekend

Justin

The grounds were cute

cozy The staff was wonderful There were, however, a couple of details that unfortunately negatively affected our stay If this was a $200/night hotel, I would not complain one bit But at close to $1k/night, these matters must be dealt withAdjacent to our room was a series of apartments/condos There were VERY bright lights that stayed on all night that shone directly into our room! The french doors next to the bed had pull-down blinds that worked well to block this lighthowever, the doors in the living room did NOT have these blinds, and this incredibly bright light lit up the entire room all night long TerribleSecond, beginning at 8:00am there was a maintenance person power-washing the pool lounge chair cushions This was a loud, disturbing noise that continued for THREE HOURS What did he accomplish in 3 hours? He cleaned a dozen cushionscushions that could easily be removed and cleaned off-siteWe address these complaints to management and received zero concern or compensationDo not stay here The value is terrible

Edmund Souder

Incredible boutique resort with great service and charming atmosphere Had the pleasure to stay in the Naish House which is romantic and very comfortable I’d recommend bringing a few of your favorite records for the player in the room and some bath bombs for the stone bathtub

Breakfast was delicious The romance package is well worth the price The couples massage was one of the best I’ve ever had Can’t wait to return!

What a beautiful place this was! Only 8 villas in while place Each one themed differently I was in villa 4

This was a popular villa for Lucille Ball and Desi Arnez Word has it that Desi Jr took his first steps outside villa 4 in the courtyard So there’s history here So quiet and landscaped so beautifully Water statues and fruit frees everywhere Not good for kids Super gorgeous We’d like to go back and stay in all the villas here!

Incredible experience!!! Such hospitality!! Absolutely the BEST Desert Hot Springs spa + resort, hands down Within the 15 minutes of arrival, we were already talking about when to book our next stay! If I could give them a 10/5 review, I wouldThis review is about a year late – we booked a weekend package for June 2021

This was an anniversary celebration for us, and we booked the Simplicity Grand Opening package that included the Spa King Suite (second floor with private soaking tub), the in suite Azure Signature 60 min massage, and the in suite Customized 60 min massageIt was our first trip since before March 2020 and we could not have picked a better anniversary celebration The staff was so hospitable + welcoming; the room was huge and the bed was SO comfortable; the views were amazing; the complimentary robes + slippers were cozy; the massages were the best we have ever had; and they made us feel so special + welcomed I am so glad this was our first getaway “post” pandemic, and it will forever be our future anniversary celebration (despite living across the country in NYC)!The food offered at the cafe was fresh and tasty, and we actually regretted spending a full day driving to Joshua tree/Salvation mountain because we realized we should have just stayed in to fully enjoy the resort I could not more highly recommend the value, service, beautiful spaces, and amazing hot spring water experience RUN don’t walk to book your stay here!!!

Allen Bogart

The day spa experience was great A wide variety of customization to cool down hot natural springs as well as a relaxing foot massage walk over spring water and rocks Lots of showers, towels, robes and shoes

The pool was very nice and very flexible from covered seats to seats in the sun It was easy to move around to the temperature you wanted to be in The room with a private tub was very nice and it was surprisingly large It easily fit two people and came with candles and incense on the side The in room sauna should be drawn before midnight and after 7am to be respectful of other guests and we had no issues hearing other tubs fill or any noise issues at all It was very quiet and serene at night I give a strong recommendation for this resort

Damaris Derecichei

This place was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! Staff was so warm and welcoming! The facility was incredibly clean and lovely!! We were in the area visiting Salvation Mt and then later on Joshua Tree and had some downtime so we providentially stumbled across this wonderful place after a google search We felt so pampered and taken care of

They have great mineral springs, pools, saunas, and other great amenities Truly, the best surprise and part of our trip! (Thank you Luis for all your help! God bless you!)

Had an amazing weekend there with my husband & two year old Staff was extremely friendly and welcoming The pool area was amazing

Bed was very comfortable Only complaint is that our room was pretty dark – thought we were getting a balcony room (but we got one with a living area, which was nice too) Just wish we had a bit more natural light Will definitely visit again!

Jovita Holman

The hotel was super elegant, clean, friendly staff ( especially Alex M), the pool was clean, the room was very neat and smells so good we really enjoyed the cold ice water in the lobby The hot meal breakfast was fantastic

The bacon was super yummy, the french toast and the syrup was perfect not even sweet The waitress was so hospitable Super love the atmosphere in this hotel Inside the Elevator and the hallways was quite too hot, other than that I highly recommend this hotel

Jason Martin

Loved it here! You couldn’t ask for a better a better location The view from my room was unbelievable and the room was awesome as well I spent a week at the hotel for a conference and had a great time not only in the beautiful facility but also getting to meet much of the staff

Came here for a day event with the Adventure Guides (part of the YMCA) The pools were very clean and nice, and the girls had a great time We had lunch in their ball-room, and it was decent

They have a bar where you can order adult and non-adult beverages Their rooms are very nice according to the other people in our group who stayed overnight The staff at the front desk were VERY friendly and helpful The bathrooms were nice All in all, this place was worth our time

DO NOT GO THERE FOR A HOT NATURAL MINERAL SPRING EXPERIENCE of Desert Hot Springs! I see this place like an upscale Motel 6I was debating to put 3 stars but decided to put 4 for the good customer service and priceYOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR

The rooms are actually very nice with good amenities Great looking lobby and entranceBut huge disappointment when it comes to the pools, spas and settings There are A LOT of rooms so you really don’t have the intimacy that you feel in other resorts in DHS Half the rooms have balconies towards the pool and spas, so you can basically consider yourself constantly being watched when in the water THE WATER IN THE POOL AND JACUZZI IS MURKY!! So much so in the main pool that I was uncomfortable swimming in it The water smells also strongly like chlorine, and the heat is definitely artificial and not earthy and healing like you would expect in a real hot natural spring waterThe water is aggressive on the skin The bubble pool has clean water but the bubbles actually don’t do anything – you don’t feel them at all It is just a shallow hot poolI will definitely not come back here for a Desert Hot Spring experience but could consider coming back if I need a place to crash for cheap while treating myself a bit better than Motel 6

Review is for the spa/hot springs only We did not stay at the hotel Long story short, DO NOT GET A MALE MASSEUSE AT THIS FACILITY!I went to Miracle Springs Spa for a relaxing day with my friends

The spa host was extremely flustered when we checked in, and had trouble taking our information A little chaotic, but totally fine I understand there is a labor shortage and it seemed like she was working hardWe are given locks for the locker rooms and a towel each The locks were very cheap, but again, not that big of a deal Locker room/showers are good enough It feels like old decor, but everything appeared clean Complimentary soaps, shampoos, etc We used the hot springs while waiting for our massages A lot of them were taken up, but we were able to park at one with some shade and a decent temperature of water While accessing the locker rooms during our time at the hot springs I noticed one of the male masseuses giving a somewhat intimate massage to the new spa hostessFinally the massage, we get to the waiting room 15 minutes early, and end up waiting about 10 minutes until someone notices we are there Another 15 minutes go by (so 10 minutes after my appointment was scheduled) I get taken back by the hallway masseuse, Jesus, to have my ‘center’ massageI was appalled by the service I received He continually went too hard, and in areas I requested not to He did not respond when asking to move to another location, and he was unable to tell that my body was tensing up even more when he would massage ligaments and areas that should not be massaged He spent at least 10 minutes massaging my upper-thigh, and was not at all professional in his approach I had to request multiple times for him to move to another location before he finally stopped touching me in this location There was continued inappropriate behaviors on his part that don’t need to be detailed on Google I was not relaxed for a moment of this 80 minute experience, and feel more drained than when I walked in I have received many massages in my life, and after this one exchange I will never use a male therapist again

This is was an amazing place Each pool is different one has cabanas to relax and enjoy next to while another has a spout pouring into it constantly providing wonderful calming sounds Rick and Indigo were wonderful as host they have dogs on property that do follow them to greet guest

They stay on top of any puppy messes which is really nice The last few puppy friendly places were not so people friendly So it was great that this place took care of their dogs too Between the cozy rooms, the views, the relaxing waters and puppy therapy They also have Massages and spa treatments I have not tried yet but will next time This is a must go to A side note this is a this is they are in the middle of a remodel and making it look it better than it does already and their garden is still young and still amazing The statues of people are a bit creepy Still a great place to enjoy and relax in themed rooms are fun lovely garden

I came out for a solo momma get away When I arrived I was the only guest Having the property to myself, even with the wind, was so serene

I was met by one of the owners upon arrival who gave me a walking tour of the grounds and upgraded my roomThe mineral pool and hot tub are perfectly accessorized to create a place you don’t want to leave Blankets with coffee and a book on the many lounge areas strategically placed to create an atmosphere of comfort and relaxation, seemed to be a morning choiceI wish I had longer I would love to come back and take a bounce on the trampoline and do yoga in the pavilion where all items needed to start or end your day with movement are locatedThank you all for making me feel comfortable and allowing me to roam free without my kiddos!

Guillaume Schindler

I had a great time at the O spa!! I stayed in the David Bowie room The decor was stunning and the mineral water pools and spas were so clean, soothing, natural, energizing, healing and earthy You can tell it is real local hot natural mineral water

Everything was very clean Good customer service too!I don’t think it is worth the claimed full total price of $400 a night or so but definitely worth it when it is discounted down to a total of like $200 or so that you can fairly easily find online (don’t forget to add the $35 resort fee that you pay on top of the booking price)I am looking forward to go again!

Staff were nice My first room wreaked of cigarettes and they changed my room promptlyRoom was nice

I liked the layout with the extra vanity space I was on the ground floor with a patio door facing the pool area I would have liked to sit outside on the patio but the furniture was stained and I didn’t want to sit on the chairsThe room appeared it hadn’t been cleaned in a while, dust covering most surfaces A/C was cold and room was comfortable enough Good location for downtownOn-site parking was extraweird especially since it was self-park I parked on the street at no charge For the price, I would have expected a bit “more”

Cade Post

This way a very good experience that could have been very bad For some reason, only part of our reservation went through for a conference we were having We found the conference rooms we booked, but not the actual hotel rooms weren’t found

I have to give the biggest shout out to Mark!!! He made sure to be caring and attentive in the midst of the chaos We weren’t able to get the 2 rooms we originally thought we were getting; however, we did at least get one room that Mark was so gracious to accommodate us with!Side Note: Jorge was also very helpful in assisting us with the seminar room set up! We all banded together and got it cleaned and set up properly before our clients showed upAll in all, it was a very good experience Thank you for maintaining professional and courteousness in the midst of how mean the world has been the past 2 years It hasn’t gone unnoticed Blessings on you and all your staff!

Andrea K

We were passing through from WA to AZ – I’m giving 2 stars and not one because we are able to get a room last minute We are traveling with small childrenDownsides:-Parking is $17 a day and a good spot that is close is hard to come by

-I don’t like finding human hair in hotel rooms, or fingernails Cleanliness could be improved-We had to sign a waiver that this was a pet friendly hotel This information was not readily available when we made our reservations The hallway to our room smelled like pee and there was many uncleaned pee spots Luckily our room smelled okay-The pool closes at 9:30 We love to go to the pool late in the evening for a quick swim with my boys This certainly felt like the were trying to keep the partying to a minimum-“Last call” at the hotel bars was also extremely early, earlier than the pool closed I think It seemed like they were trying to squash the party scene – which is fine by me (tired mom) but ppl just go back to their room and are loud

We planned a spontaneous weekend getaway to Palm Springs to relax and reset and could not have picked a better place than The Weekend!Self check-in and check-out was very convenient Eva and Mark were very friendly and accommodating, which made our stay much more enjoyable We practically had the pool to ourselves even though there were a few other guests staying there

Our room had plenty of space and had plenty of privacy in the back patio area The kitchen had everything we needed even without a stove or toaster My only suggestion would be to add some kitchen towelsThe walk down to the main shops and restaurants downtown is not bad at all, only 15-20 minutes For us, it was the perfect location! We can’t wait to come back!

The Storeys

My family and I had planned a last minute trip this Easter weekend, and we gladly came across The Weekend Mark, the owner, was absolutely accommodating and answered all my questions prior to booking Joanna from the front desk was also very helpful; they accommodated us for early check-in & late check-out

The hotel is modern, clean, well furnished, and intimate The Weekend has 10 rooms, and although it was at full capacity, we practically had the pool to ourselves We stayed in the 2 bedroom deluxe room and it was spacious & perfect for our family of 6 (including a fluffy dog)Other pros:- Very clean- Great location- Easy parking- Good beds- Quiet- Dog friendly- Great customer service- Covid friendly- Great pool- It has a kitchen with full size fridge (FYI, no stove – it wasn’t an issue for us)We all had a wonderful, perfect Easter We highly recommend The Weekend to anyone looking for a place to stay in Palm Springs A big thank you again to Mark for accommodating us and for being an excellent host

Sophie Ey

Best hotel I’ve ever stayed at – hands down If you are worried about COVID safety, like me, this place is ideal No shared indoor spaces, front door is locked and leads to an open air courtyard where you have a private front door to your apartment with it’s own back patio

It was sparkling clean with GORGEOUS taste It felt just like having our own very nice apartment in the heart of Palm Springs for a night The bed was incredibly comfy The pool was fantastic It was quiet and peaceful with lovely music playing softly by the pool It was incredibly dog friendly and our pup had the time of her life I could go on forever about how much I loved this placeAll of those details aside, Mark (the owner) is just the best He was so, so, so kind, friendly and accommodating He made our stay so nice and easy He was so responsive and the exact ray of sunshine you want in a hostLong story long – this is the best place ever and we will be coming back many times

The facility and grounds are amazing Soaking in the grotto is a must The small pools and tubs are great too

The food at the restaurant was healthy and delicious The staff were super helpful Now comes the rooms The rooms don’t quite live up to the overall resort itself so that is why I’m giving an overall rating of 4 stars Don’t get me wrong they aren’t awful but It’s clear that they have done a lot of work to the entire site so my hope is they will eventually get to updating the rooms If you’re looking to get away with your significant other to unwind and recharge then you really can’t go wrong

Alexa Meyers

My new favorite place to stay in Palm Springs! The warm mineral water pools are a huge plus and lead to such a relaxing getaway There is also a cold pool which is very nice on super hot days I stayed for 3 nights and every day I went to the pools, my partner and I were able to have our own natural spring water pool since there are so many

The staff is amazing and so kind It was my birthday and they left some welcome fruit & drinks in my room upon arrival The food & drinks here are amazing My favorites were the Acai bowl & the breakfast burrito! We did a sound bath, yoga, and a tarot card reading which were all included in our stay We stayed in one of the Capone Suites & I really loved our room I will say it is one of the older buildings on the property (Two Bunch Palms has tons of history) & was more dated, but still very clean I loved how central the Capone rooms are to the entrance of the hotel, reception, the Grotto, etc so I definitely recommendOverall, such an amazing stay & will definitely be returning

dottie williams

Our visit was to join a friend for the day We didn’t have a room to discuss The grounds are beautiful and well maintained

Our friend is a wonderful source of information & history about the spa The whole area is calming, very relaxing A peaceful place to enjoy a dayWe had a lovely lunch at the organic restaurant Food was exceptional Service delightfulIf there was a way to just spend a few hours I would definitely do it And I read in some past reviews about no water bottles in the rooms Did you know that the area where the spa is has the best water Just grab a glass to find out Enjoy

Staff is super friendly and accommodating However, the hotel itself is just not worth the price Mandatory valet required me to watch someone drive my car ~20 steps to a parking spot and then wait (although not long) to have it retrieved

Photos online were very generous and set expectations a little too high based on the property itself I’ll admit part of this was due to covid limitations and lack of full amenities like the hot tub not turned on and the on-site restaurant being closed, but prices should take these limitations into accountDog friendly, which is nice but as previous reviews state, your dog must be with you at all times This is pretty standard and they have a list of dog-friendly restaurants in the area that they provide to you, which was a nice touchThe folio at the end of the trip was a little convoluted For each day there were 15 line items (no food/drink/etc were billed to the room) including repeat taxes & assessments listed 3 separate times each day with varying amounts This may be a city/county issue and not specific to this hotel but should be addressedLocation was good, staff were excellent, just overpriced for what it is

The building and room are not up to the standards one expects from Marriott and for the price you pay However the staff were delightful and wonderful to talk with Also free street parking nearby

The hotel itself has undergone a lot of renovations to get where it is but it has a long way to go Our shower door didn’t close all the way meaning our floor was always wet Walls are very thin and you can hear everything going on outside and in the rooms adjacent including barking dogs Our bathroom smelled like sewer gas when the air came on And our bedding was even dirty when we first got into our room We really wanted to like this place for the historic value of the buildings and the site but for the price it is very much not worth it There are a lot of other hotels nearby that are cleaner and don’t look like a flip gone awry

Nice little hotel Two swimming pools both small and clean and saltwater The rooms are clean and nice, with big comfy beds

The main problem for me was the bathroom – the shower head is pretty basic with no power and sufficient spray The toilet doesn’t have sufficient suction to completely flush on the first try🙁 The staff is excellent, kind and friendly The price is also an excellent value

Old building so you can hear everything – I woke up a lot through the night Great pool area but lounge chairs fill up quickly No wifi entire stay – complained to the desk numerous times and it was never resolved

They never told us we needed to request linen servicing the night before so our beds were never made/sheets were never changed Breakfast was laughable – moldy clementines, cheap packaged baked goods, and granola bars For the price, there have to be better hotels in Palm Springs – look elsewhere

This was my favorite stay in Palm Springs! This little hotel felt safe, loungey, and intimate The owner of this place really took care of me and my friend during our stay I was celebrating a birthday here and they left flowers, candles, balloons, and a cake for me in the room! You can feel the love and compassion at this location

They had snacks available for us all day as well as breakfast in the morning If you are looking for a quiet and relaxing Palm Springs stay, this is your spot!!

One of the best places to stay in Palm Springs Very attentive staff – engaging in conversation and helpful with recommendations It was nice to meet other people and converse over the happy hour and breakfast

The beds are extremely comfy, the pool and hot tub are lovely, and the quiet, laid back feel can’t be beat Worth a stay, anytime!

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our weekend getaway at the Westcott! Misty and Trevor were so friendly, kind and welcoming We loved the late afternoon snacks and cocktails and morning breakfast with coffee! Our room was spacious, clean and unique and stayed cool even through a Palm Springs heat wave We forgot our swimsuits and Misty went above and beyond to realize and mail them back to us! Overall, just an amazing little hotel where we felt well taken care of and relaxed

Thank you Westcott, we will be back

A nice family owned resort/ spa near Palm Springs The owners lived in Italy and there is a true, rustic Italian feel to it as opposed to the corporate designed resorts that were built recently Lots of beautiful plants and sitting areas

The pools are mineral water and warm Breakfast is served at 0830 This was a good getaway spot from the city and we will come back again Thank you!

Quaint and quiet 3 different pools to soak in A hot tub under a pergola, an in ground pool and a smaller in ground pool with jets, in the shade

There were cabana type beds to lay on that were comfortable enough that I could have easily fallen asleep Lockers were provided Drinking water was also available Everything seemed clean and well taken care of, especially given all the sand being blown in the area the night previouslyMy fiance and I has a very relaxing day spent soaking there We will go back

Nice, quiet, relaxing place I did not stay here as a hotel guest, but stayed for the afternoon for two spa services I arrived early and was able to use the various pools before and after my treatments

The pool area and gardens were nice to relax in It is not a 5-star experience: ie, some parts of the buildings seem older and worn, but the price is reasonable as compared to other spas I would go back

People rave about the staff here, and we have to agree, wonderful staff We had a nice room that we were very happy with The day we were leaving, I ordered room service, breakfast

Excluding tip, the breakfast came to over $100 Instead of a nice breakfast that we could enjoy, it came in boxes with plastic cutlery It was like camping The food was impossible to eat because you couldn’t cut anything with the cheap plastic cutlery Instead of a nice pot of coffee that you could keep warm, the coffee came in paper cups Not only is this tremendously wasteful, it is not room service, it’s take-out Also, there was no place for both of us to eat My husband had to bring in a seat table from the patio If you want a hotel room that you can relax in and have room service, this is not the place

Worth it for the pool alone!I can’t think of one negative about this hotel From when we walked into the lobby to when we checked out, everything was great The room was spacious, clean and up to date and the location in the heart of Palm Springs can’t be beat

The rooftop pool is the best part, with amazing views, friendly people and great cocktails The cold brew at Juniper is a must try

Chantal Partenza

A great stay, excellent service, and courteous team More importantly, HONEST STAFF! I left behind in my room a Chanel perfume and body cream Once I arrived home, I’ve called the hotel manager and he immediately reached out to the room service team and my items were found

Alicia the individual who did our room returned my items She could easily just keep the products but instead she returned them Permit me thank you and express my gratitude to you Alicia and Mauro A very delighted customer

We went for a spa day with the winds howling and temps in the 70s we worried it would be too cold and windy The courtyard blocked the wind and the sun warmed things up! We thoroughly enjoyed our day with soaks in the hot springs, swimming and sunning We also had a couples Rainwater massage which was very nice! Don’t let the winds keep you away! It was quiet and peaceful and Robert the host on duty was awesome, answering all our questions and making sure we had s great day

We stayed here for Coachella and were pleasantly surprised and enjoyed our stay very much They even prepared a care package that included tissues, band-aids, water bottles, bandanas, sunscreen, lip balm —perfect for Coachella! We used all of these things and they came in very handy It was such a nice touch

Our room was very clean and they had everything we needed and more This place was very fairly priced as other places near this area was double (and more) the price due to Coachella At first, I worried since this is a privately owned place and I couldn’t see it on other big websites Nevertheless, it couldn’t have been a better experience for us They also provide free breakfast, water, and parking right in front of the building The staff was very sweet as well I wish we had time to actually enjoy everything the place had to offer It was nice to come back after a long day to a comfortable and clean roomThank you for having us El Morocco Inn and Spa!
