The good: Clean room in general Decent location Great last-minute pricing

Good customer service The not so great: You can tell some updates have been done, but certain things about the room show its age The shower was a little moldyThe indoor pool was much smaller than expected, and that entire area was kind of gross The drain on the pool deck was full of hair and the room seemed like no one had bothered to clean it in a very long while

Overpriced & Poor ServicePlease, please, please save your money and take your business elsewhere I booked a room for one night with a romantic package for my birthday and I was so disappointed from beginning to endFirst, the website listed the romantic package as a bottle of champagne along with breakfast served to your room

LIES! The champagne was a very very cheep bottle of J Roget Extra dry champagne (valued at $499 at our local store) and breakfast is a voucher that is used downstairs at the buffet style cafe And no one even bothered to give us the vouchers even after we asked several times and was told that we “should have” received it at check in We just got the constant run aroundSecond, the hotel room was So So So small And the bathroom shower had mold in the tiles The room fixtures where covered in dust and the phone was broken This was a motel quality room at best Our view was nonexistent (a building with a parking lot)Lastly, customer service is the worst Front desk hardly never answers and all the employees seems to be having a bad dayWe have stayed at many hotel in Atlanta and was so excited to visit the Westin My birthday was ruined and my money wasted Please heed my warning and take your business somewhere else

We had a great stay here Room was decent Staff was very nice! One thing I forgot to ask about was Parking

They offer valet and self parking I’m sure you can find a garage yourself to save a bit of money on Parking if you want Valet was only 5 or 10 dollars more than the self park in their garageOverall I would come back Lots to see and do within walking/few mins drive

My husband and I have been to this hotel about 8 times in the last 6 months and we love it It is pure luxury and the service and rooms are always over the top It is extremely clean and housekeeping is always accommodating

The last time we went we had some very unusual issues like the front desk never getting back to us multiple times, the food store not having drinks on hand, and the valet getting the wrong vehicle I could not bring myself to give 4 stars though because whenever we go we always have such a good time and we feel so well taken care of

Saloni Joshi

This review is for the Spa and Pool My friend and I were very excited to have a spa day for her 30th birthday I had called MULTIPLE times and even communicated with the Supervisor through email quite a bit to make this appointment

We wanted to ensure ALL the amenities were working (especially after Covid) as we wanted the whole Spa experience The day before our appointment, someone called to confirm the appointment They did not tell us that the amenities were out of service during this time When we showed up for our appointments, they told us the steam room, sauna and whirlpool area was down We elected not to get our massage service and were EXTREMELY disappointed by the lack of communication and nothing really being done by the staff to rectify this We took time off work, drove all the way down and all they could do was apologize and even said “oh we’re glad we can take off the cancellation fee for this” We had to cancel our appointment because of them and their lack of communication to us about the amenities! They did let us use the outdated pool where the music was so loud that we called requested them to turn it down, which of course the staff their did nothing about Also their were two guests there that decided to use the outside tranquil pond as their hot tub as they got in and sat in it for 20 minutes or so Just overall extremely disappointed by such a luxury brand Definitely far from luxury

Alexander Reid

I was very satisfied with the staff and their willingness to accommodate They all were friendly and professional Even if I had an issue with something, they were willing to resolve it quickly and offer me something for the inconvenience

Ms Ellen Daniels took great care of us and although this was my first stay at this hotel, it most certainly, will not be my last

I stayed here long term for a work project Although I get minimal housekeeping it was a little rough when I did request it Other than that this place was amazing

Great breakfast, very clean common areas and all of the staff especially Maria and Kavita were extremely helpful, polite, courteous, and helped make my stay very pleasurable! They even gave me a Xmas card! I would absolutely stay here again BTW Saturday and Sunday are bacon day 🙂

Rhonda Carr

This was the host hotel for our family reunion and the service was top notch from check-in to our departure The hotel was clean and had all the amenities we needed but the STAFF is the reason our stay was so enjoyable! Every single person we encountered was friendly and helpful, but Orrie was my favorite! He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed for our meetings with a smile I would DEFINITELY stay there again if I’m in the area

Nice hotel perfect for business travelers If you’ve been to one courtyard, you’ve been to all of themI checked in after 11:00 pm, and the air-conditioner in my room was making some weird noises

They put me in a new room as soon as I brought the issue to their attentionThe staff is friendly and the rates were reasonable

Johnny Gomez

Very nice Courtyard by Marriott property It’s a renovated property, but it’s much better than expected The lobby and restaurant area are super nice and the staff is fantastic

Only issue is that breakfast isn’t included in the rate Other courtyard hotels provide breakfast, but for some reason this one didn’t We were very disappointed, especially when we found out the prices for breakfast We weren’t the only ones that left the hotel in order to have an affordable breakfast a block away at Einstein Bagels

Vin Diesel

This Courtyard was top-notch and very impressed with the layout of the room I felt very secure and I liked how you could walk out of your room straight into the Courtyard I was greeted with smiles by the front desk and I requested more towels through the Marriott Bonvoy App but never received them my digital key was ready but they never sent it through to the app

That is the only gripe I have is don’t offer services through your app for your members if you are not going to monitor the app Other than that great place to stay

– TV broken – got fixed but no streaming- Internet slow – no enhanced internet- Charged me for parking even though I didn’t have a car – had to argue to get that removed

– No housekeeping for entire stay – even though their policy is to provide every day- No water pressure- Tub is curved and slippery – almost killed myself- Bistro employees are very good, Starbucks coffee is good, food is wretched- Front desk staff likes to get that last word and argued with me about most of the aboveDo not stay here

Monique Desouge

The hotel charged me a mandatory 200 dollar incidental fee when I checked in on top of the 830 I paid for 4 nights You have 2 options for parking: self park for 24 dollars every time you leave the garage or a 38 dollar a day vallet parking with the hotel I was surprised because that was not clearly explained when I booked my room

Breakfast is not included The restaurant in the hotel is room charge only Finally, my room was only serviced once When I requested to have my garbage taken out, they dumped the garbage can into a giant black garbage bag and left it in my room They also left the dirty towels I’m very disappointed I will never stay at this hotel again and I would not recommend it to a friend

Jason Hancock

The common spaces at the hotel looked nice, but the rooms really need some attention! The bathroom just needed to be gutted completely From the jet exhaust fan to the terrible shower, it just felt like the hotel room was left behind in the mid-1990’s The ergonomics of the TV location and the very strange furniture, some leveled with wood shims you get from Lowes, just added to the feeling of stepping back in time

Absolutely wonderful stay!!! If I could give 10 stars I would I can only imagine the bad reviews are because those people are broke, sad or have never stayed at a 5-star hotel The spa staff was absolutely amazing and the services were even more amazing

Reggie at the front desk was also incredible Any time we had a request the hotel fulfilled it within 10 minutes They even sent someone to the car to grab our clothes that we left in it We will be making this a quarterly trip Thank you very much for the great experience!!!!!!!

Joshua Lindau

Pleasant staff and accommodations as expected We were recognized for our elite status, had our room upgraded, and enjoyed the executive lounge as much as possible, very nice perk to the hotelThe hotel does seem to host some group conventions, and I see other reviews complaining about this, but this is to be expected based on the area of town

Would definitely stay again!

Giving two stars because the staff were very pleasant and the restaurant was surprisingly decent But that’s about it I booked the Westin because of its general higher-end status, but I was pretty disappointed

The lobby is set up really nicely and would lead you to believe that you’re about to have a great stay at a 4-star hotel But as soon as you leave the lobby, the rest of the hotel is mediocre at best First of all, I upgraded my room to a Junior Suite weeks before my stay, and when I checked in, I was told I would be staying in the previous room I booked because they have no junior suites available If you weren’t going to have junior suites available on the nights of my stay, why would I be able to upgrade to that room? Or did you give my junior suite away to someone else? We paid extra for a lake-front room, but the lake was brown and disgusting The rooms are no better than 2 or 3-star quality- the finishings are tacky and the bathroom/shower area was just straight up icky The shower was not user friendly at all At a certain point we called maintenance about it He told us many people call about the shower head and faucet and complains about them Additionally, make sure you get a room close to the ground floor or you’ll be waiting at least 5 minutes for the elevator- but you’ll get your steps in on the stairs! Overall, this is in no way a 4-star hotel and they should probably lose a star But your staff was excellent!

R D

After a not so great experience at a another Atlanta area Marriott property, happy to say that this is a very nice hotel Had breakfast and dinner at Savor, and both were great Rooms are clean and (despite being in a hotel at the intersection of two interstates) quiet

Only minor complaint is that the mattresses are a bit soft Also, the pool area is currently closed / under construction

Everything about our experience was excellent The decor was impeccable The atmosphere was elegant, yet cozy

The rooms were beautiful and the beds were very comfortable! The hotel manager could not have been more kind, hospitable and helpful To top it all off, the restaurant Fia in the bottom of the hotel was amazing and every single thing we ordered was beyond delicious This was our first time staying, but it will definitely not be our last! We cannot wait to come back!

Came in yesterday night from hearing all positive reviews about the outstanding service delivered by the French man I was exceptionally pleased by the service and overall presentation of the hotel Most of all, I got the most warming welcome from the front desk agent Godavious! He spoke about it being his second day but I couldn’t tell because he knew all nearby attractions, details about the overall hotel and an amazing sense of style! I’ll definitely be returning with my family this weekend!

Ryan and Jasmine were very wonderful for the night shift they were very helpful and polite We stayed in a suite and was very nice and a beautiful view of the city Very nice neighborhood and pool side was a pleasant place to relax with the family! The on-site gym was also very clean and had a good view of the city they were a little slow on certain things but all in all very nice place

They also had board games on site for the family which was a great surprise The H bar had decently priced drinks 🍸

This hotel deserves 5 STARS all around the board This is by far one of the greatest experiences I’ve had at a hotel starting from their online presence and literally ending down to dropping my key card off in the drop box upon departure I don’t go anywhere without checking reviews and after seeing such positive feedback about the cleanliness and service at The Hyatt I was convinced this was the perfect location to book

4 minutes from Perimeter Mall which is definitely one of best in Georgia in my opinion Parking was great and upon arrival we were greeted by Ryan who has the best customer service ever! He was very knowledgeable in letting us know the break down of the hotel rules and where we could locate breakfast, parking, and other amenities within the hotel such as the gym and pool Our studio suite overlooked the pool which we didn’t get to enjoy due to Georgia’s crazy weather but that was okay Breakfast was good, filling, and hot! Our room had everything you’d possibly need to cook as far as utensils and silverware, sheets were clean and the bed slept like a cloud The bathroom was clean, beautiful, and well-lit Overall, I really appreciate a company who stands for good business and ensures that things are handled a certain way and held up to a certain standard and would encourage anyone who has booked with The Hyatt here to leave a review This is in no way a paid review but just a genuine one because no one wants a bad hotel experience and had I not read the reviews and been inspired to book, I would’ve never discovered this great hotel that I don’t mind traveling back and forth from even being based in AtlantaThis hotel deserves to be rated a 5 Star Hotel 10/10 recommended RYAN IS THE BEST! THANK YOU HYATT HOUSE PERIMETERNO COMPLAINTS

Beautiful new construction with modern decor My family drove 4 hours to stay at the Hyatt house 3 nights for my surgery at Emory St Joseph

Staff was very friendly and accommodating Make sure when making reservations to get the $100/night hospital rate Great food! In walking distance to the Emory St Joseph Hospital No valet but the parking garage is attached and easily accessible Very secure The maid service does not come everyday; however, front desk gladly replenishes linens, towels, garbage bags, etc upon request Will stay here again

Just completed a stay here for a business trip The hotel and rooms were clean, the gym was well equipped as usual for a Hyatt Place The one con is they had water fountains and a place to refill a bottle, but it would be nice to have some disposable cups to drink from during your workout

I didn’t eat breakfast there, so I can’t comment on that, however the staff was very friendly and helpful The couch in the room was really comfortable to sit and watch TV after a long day I appreciated the extra security measures to get around in the hotel (needing your card) and the presence of security in the parking area, considering the locations proximity to the MARTA I would definitely recommend and will be returning for future stays for both business and pleasure

Ashlee Thomas

It was pretty good, the rooms were really nice and the location was right near my job, I love the continental breakfast in the morning But just a few things I didn’t like the whole parking thing, and the whole using your key everywhere It was just annoying Also I just had a guest over not spending the night but they questioned me, that’s none of their business it would be a concern if that guest stayed but coming to my hotel room that’s not their concern

I would stay again though

Nate James

I very much enjoyed my stay here at the Hyatt Place Atlanta This hotel has a more modern design than the other Hyatt Place hotels i have stayed at The staff was polite and welcoming across the board

Note that some of the rooms will have a wonderful view of the parking garage if you happen to be on floor 4 or lower I was on floor 7 and had a building directly across from me Needless to say my window shade was down for my entire stay Perhaps I’ll get a better view of the city on my next stayI took off a star because during my stay, there was some corporate event that brought a huge crowd of people to the breakfast area every morning There was no room to sit and by the time i arrived for breakfast (7:30am) many of the breakfast options were unavailableAll in all I would definitely stay here again given the price and location

Hotel is just across from mall which is great Its upscale and kept spotless Staff is friendly and courteous but lacking the full upscale expected

We were upgraded to a suite that was really nice but it lacked simple things like a coffee maker without a sink Had to go in the bathroom for water, yuckWe are Elite Marriott members and had to push to get a suite that we are entitled to Breakfast was free to us because of status but if not $49+ and although in chafing dishes the food was dry, cold and did not taste fresh Overall disappointed

Tamesha

I got this hotel through Hotwire I didn’t know it was even an option because it did not show as part of which hotel I would likely get Anyway, the hotel is very nice and all

However, the only downfall was the paying for parking, Locked fridge in the room which I was almost afraid to put my drinks in because I wasn’t sure if I would be charged for it My daughter was scared to use the shower gel that was provided afraid we would be charged for that To top it off the worst of my stay really was the smell of the room, the sound of the toilets flushing (if that’s what it was), and the noise of steam or air all night/morning long so I couldn’t sleep (light sleeper) The bathroom door in our room you basically had to bump up against it to close or it wouldn’t shut For this hotel to be this fancy I guess I expected different Yes, I would have rather stayed in the Hampton Inn or even the Comfort in, but you get what you get At least I would have likely been able to sleep Overall the hotel is nice, but all the noises in the room was just not that great

Jerome

Staff very personable and professional Every staff that I came in contact with was very friendly The rooms were clean and very spacious

We were there for an afternoon wedding We were accommodated for an early check-in Much appreciated The gym was exceptional Certainly enjoyed the quiet moments out by the pool Overall it was a great experience Certainly will stay again

Enjoyed my stay here I like that it is a new hotel with great in room a/c The staff was always helpful

Plus much better than my prior stay at the local MarriottMinor improvements would be daily housekeeping with no request, room key in/out privileges to parking garage rather than getting a sticker each time, and better control of flies in lobby eating area

Drisana Biswas

My family and I came here for a nice vacation This hotel was impeccable! It was next to great attractions and delicious restaurants The room was very spacious

The beds were very comfy and new and the view was beautiful! The kitchen had clean utensils, a fridge, and a microwave It even came with a cute breakfast nook! The shower had low water pressure, but that was just a minor thing The staff was very friendly and always made sure to do the best to their ability Staff also made it easy to check in and out The breakfast was decent; scrambled eggs, sandwich, tea, and even more options! There was modern furniture and nice music playing The atmosphere was perfect! We will definitely come back here soon Fantastic!

Our overall stay was good I appreciate the location because it was very quiet with just enough convenience The room was very clean and modern

We did however come across a few kinks For starters, the water pressure was extremely low This made showering very uncomfortable The shower curtain was pretty torn and needed to be replaced The bathroom door was loose and often rattled when opening/closing The outer refrigerator door came off the hinge when my son opened it Aside from these things, the staff was pretty amazing Very accommodating and pleasant Heather stood out because she was very sweet and didn’t mind that my son asked for more cookies during checkout

Very nice hotel Was very clean Smooth check in

The elevators kept closing on us getting in so may need an upgrade Rooms are very spacious The bed was comfortable to my liking The breakfast isn’t free unless you buy with reservations so the buffet was $20 a person which was kind of high for what was available Overall pleased with stay No real issues

The front desk associates were Fantastic Great customer service When I entered my room it had a stuffy smell to it so I Lysol it down and it got better

I am not sure why this is but this hotel didn’t have microwaves in the rooms but only one microwave for the whole hotel to use I understand that may be to give the hotel restaurant more business but that doesn’t work for me Thank you to whoever cooks the breakfast It was really tasty Overall my stay here was Good and I will return here when I have another event in the area and have to stay overnight

Very nice hotel Friendly staff Comfortable beds

Could use better pillows and high pet fee but free parking and lots of breakfast choices We stayed when we were in town for a braves game Easy to access highway even with construction I was concerned walking into the room that it wouldn’t be cold but the AC cranked out cold air and it was great Very dog friendly

Beautiful, CLEAN hotel Easiest check in process and and most accommodating front desk Young family of 4 with 2 small children

Stayed night of Braves game then ventured to the aquarium the next day Perfect location Shower had no blemishes and carpet had no debris Breakfast was filling and had something for the entire family Will definitely have a return visit

The staff were very nice, and our room was good, if a little noisy (we were on 6th floor on the street side of the building) Everything was clean and comfortable Great water pressure and very hot water

The noise from the hallway and room next door was a little loud, but I’m a light sleeper and things settled down by 12 am Loved the gym which I used every day, and the indoor pool which I would have used if I’d know how nice it was and had packed a bathing suit The complimentary breakfast was fairly good though I only ate oatmeal and yogurt Coffee was very good Overall, very good value

We stay at a lot of hotels due to my husband’s career, and I like to leave very honest reviews This was a beautiful hotel It smells lovely everywhere you go and everyone was helpful and friendly

The valet service is incredible, specifically Patrick and one other gentleman (his name slips my mind but he has a beard! 🙂)—they were so great One recommendation is that the rooms aren’t that big for a big family and that isn’t on the hotel, that was on us; we have 5 children but we made it work with one room just fine The rooms are normal size, just get two rooms if you have a bigger crowd and prefer more space We stayed for 5 nights and it was great! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

Wow WOW WOW WOW what an amazing hotel Stayed for 2 nights (wish I could’ve stayed longer) and everything from check-in to the water pressure in the shower was seamless I absolutely loved staying here

The decor was so cool, the staff were just amazing and just the overall experience was top notch I will to the end of days refer your hotel to anyone I know that’s going to ATL Thank you so much for the great stay! It’s hotels like this that make me love traveling 🥰

Love love loved this hotel! Prob my favorite hotel I’ve stayed in The decor is beautiful-that in itself is worth a trip here! The rooms are perfect (They give you water in your room as well-such a bonus!) ♥️ The staff is amazing-like truly

Every person we came in contact with was so friendly They genuinely are nice people who care and you don’t feel like they are just doing the “job” only little thing was the restaurant was a tad slow and felt unorganized but def not enough to keep me from coming back! Def hope to visit again soon!!

Loved our stay Beds were very comfortable The water stayed hot

Hotel itself was quiet The indoor pool was nice due to it being cool outside I wish they could block the outdoor pool from the draft coming inside the indoor pool Downside they need free parking and a shuttle and offer free Breakfast and the rooms needs to be dusted especially if you have allergies They have a fridge needs a microwave in room And the queen bed is more of a full bed

I have stayed here before and the experience was great, however, this time I stayed – they went ABOVE & BEYOND Annette & Nikki at the front desk are honestly the best pair of workers I’ve ever came across Their charisma speaks for itself

They treated me so great and I wish I could give more than 5 stars forThis stay People like this make your experience memorable and they deserve recognition I’d rather stay at this location and have a longer commute than stay somewhere closer to my destination; that’s how great they are Great job Nikki & Annette!

We arrived late night after a long trip to a clean and comfortable room and attentive staff Room assistants were accommodating to our requests Food in the restaurant was pretty good in taste and presentation

Big shout out to Joe in Front Desk He was extremely helpful, especially when it came for us finding things to do in and around Atlanta He gave us plenty good suggestions and took his time describing each spot suggested Joe is friendly, helpful, and respectful He really enjoys his job and it shows by the way he treats his guests
