All I can do is say “ditto” to the positive remarks made by other visitors We just returned from our vacation to Maryland, and spent 3 nights at the Parsonage Inn Lexi, assistant innkeeper, and Liz, innkeeper, were friendly, hospitable and enthusiastic

The ability to walk to the attractions of St Michael’s right down the street, the Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum directly across the street and the harbor was very nice Breakfasts were scrumptious !! While it is a historical home, we really enjoyed the modern touches of the king-sized bed, central air conditioning ( end of July), on-site parking and tile shower Watching the world go by from the front porch was pleasant You will enjoy your stay Do not hesitate to let them know of any dietary needs you may have for breakfast We did not have any needs, but other guests did They were happy to accommodate if informed And respond to the emails and texts verifying your reservation Enjoy !

I had no idea where to go away for a long weekend to relax from my over-demanding daily life I came across the Parsonage Inn in St Michael’s, MD

The description alone sounded so peaceful and inviting, made reservations immediatelyWhen my husband and I arrived to beautiful Victorian Inn and was greeted by a lovely women, Liz, who was the Innkeeper The entire atmosphere of the common area was so welcoming in As we entered our room it was so quaint, warm and spotless Everything was perfect and Liz was so accommodating filling us in on places to visit and eat dinnerBreakfast the next morning, prepared by Liz, was delicious and filling Perfect The morning we were leaving my husband made a comment telling me he wanted to stay and have Liz take care of him Of course, he was joking, but that’s just how you felt staying at the Parsonage Inn…home away from home I would highly recommend visiting that Parsonage Inn if you’re looking for a refreshing, quiet get away I most certainly plan to go back for a visit and a much needed getaway! Thank you Liz for your hospitality ~Debbie Stevens & Michael Zimmerman

I booked a suite here for a long weekend for an anniversary trip Parsonage is a great B&B for St Michaels: good location on the main road, close to restaurants, coffee, the maritime museum, and other points of interest

The accommodations are comfortable and the innkeeper was quick to handle anything she could to make our stay as good as it could be Breakfasts were tasty and varied – one day savory, the other sweet – and there is a sizable collection of DVDs, snacks/desserts, teas, and coffee for guest use at any hour of the day

My husband and I have stayed at Harbor Inn a few times now The hotel isn’t overly fancy but they have done some recent renovations Saint Michaels is great for a quick and quiet getaway

There is just enough to do while leaving plenty of time to relax! We just stayed at Harbor Inn again for a few days, and this was our first time being there during the summer We LOVED the pool! It’s not huge, but there were plenty of loungers, umbrellas, food, drinks, and even some good music playing! We will be back this fall for our anniversary

Jen Spencer

Had a corner suite, large, well furnished and clean Private balcony was amazing with view of marina Staff are so kind and friendly

Had a paddle boarding accident that resulted in stitches in my foot Inquired at front desk if local staff may have crutches I could borrow to enjoy remainder of stay Nicole, along with Andre found crutches for me within hours! Was able to enjoy sailboat tour and do some shopping the next day Greatly appreciated and highly recommend staying here! Was our first visit to St Michael’s and we will return to do some things we were not able to this time!

Lauren Thompson

We really enjoyed our stay here It was tough to find a hotel that let us do a one-night stay in St Michaels but we were able to on a Friday night here We had a room on the first floor and it was so spacious with the separate living area

We had sliding door walk outs from the bedroom and living space It walked right out onto the dock area on the boat slip so nice!We didn’t get a chance to try the pool but it was in a great spot right near the docks We had appetizers at the hotel restaurant, crab dip and bacon wrapped scallops, which were both excellent We were able to walk from Talbot St back to our hotel in about 10 minutes and it was a lovely walk through the neighborhood They also have a shuttle that runs for you on demand for free Would definitely stay here again!

If I could give the Victoriana Inn twelve stars, I would! I brought my two friends from college down to St Michaels for a girls weekend and we were blow away with how idyllic, charming, fresh, and absolutely stunning the Victoriana is The inn is recently under new ownership and the upgrades made to the space are so gorgeous! It feels relevant, clean, and stylish all while paying homage to the Victorian nature of the home and complements the history of the town and house so well

I could sit in the living room and read on their comfortable leather club chairs for hours! The only thing better than the beauty of the space is the quality and care of the owners’ hospitality Ted and Heidi are the cutest couple in the world and they are the ultimate hosts Breakfast each morning was delicious and felt like it was a home cooked meal from your mom, so inviting, simple, and flavorful The bacon is especially exquisite The highlights of our trip included laying out on the hammock each morning of the Willow Manse suite and having some takeout dinner and wine down by the water with a lovely fire going, which Ted was kind enough to build for us All in all, my friends and I will be back soon and I could not recommend this beautiful inn more! Book your stay immediately, you will be so glad you did

Rick Corcoran Jr

What a lovely place! Beautiful home and property with an amazing location right on the water and within an easy walk to everything Rocking chairs on front and back porch + Adirondack chairs and a fire pit right on the water provide all sorts of happy hour options Breakfast was delicious

Ted and Heidi are so nice and helpful And Sailor the Golden is adorable You cannot go wrong here for a romantic visit to St Michaels!

Eric Juel

Fantastic host The overall stay was warm and friendly, and the accommodations were perfect Breakfast was perfect every morning

We couldn’t have asked for a better stay, the room we chose had a very large balcony (with a 2 person hammock) and the best view of all of the B&Bs we noticed Waking distance to everything, and would highly recommend the 208 Talbot Restaurant Thank you!

Have had great experience staying there over many years, but this time we got a room that left a lot to be desired Several things in room 6 in disrepair About the size of a postage stamp

Rooms 1 and 2 are the best Have had great experience there previouslyThe restaurant always has great food and service

Maria Elena Salientes

We stayed in the cottage which was clean and well appointed Staff were all most helpful Bar was relaxing

Breakfast and dinner service was excellent Ate each twice Food was superb! The menu changes seasonally See my pics Chef Salter puts a lot of care into his menu If we could’ve, we would’ve stayed more nights just to get through each item on the dinner menu Specials on our second night were rockfish, short ribs, and PEI moules Fabulous! Sticky toffy pudding and pavlova (Eaton mess) desserts my husband declared as authentic We loved the darkened pub side of the house Very English We’re looking forward to coming back soon and hopping on that ferry Thank you to everyone at Robert Morris Inn

jane crabill

For two years in a row I have visited the inn for a few days in May I chose to stay in a “cottage” room since stairs are difficult for me and the cottage rooms have only a few steps The room was spacious with a comfortable bed and a large window looking out on Tred Avon River and the ferry landing (Oxford-Bellevue Ferry

) I enjoyed watching the craft on the river and sunset over the water I took my meals in the Tavern dining area and thought the food was good and with sufficient variety Desserts include sticky toffee pudding and Smith Island multi-layered cake One evening I had the roasted chicken breast with vegetables and thought the sauce was delicious It even made the brussels sprouts tasty and I usually don’t like brussels sprouts The day I left I stopped in Easton for lunch and realized I had left my opal ring in the cottage I called the inn, the office manager found my ring and held it in the office until I finished lunch and returned to get it She refused any reward Thanks to all the staff for a very pleasant stay (A friend who lives near Annapolis joined me for lunch one day Dining outside on the verandah is also an option)

The Hambleton Inn Bed and Breakfast is an endearing place to escape the everyday demands of life Located within easy walking distance of the charming shops and restaurants of St Michael’s, this newly-renovated inn was pleasantly private, offering delicious breakfasts and beautiful suites We had the pleasure of staying in the Victoria Green Nature King Suite, which was a delight with its poster bed, in-room jacuzzi and relaxing porch

We look forward to our next visit

Highly recommend staying here! The owner, Debra, was very nice She was great in making my pregnant partner feel important and adjusting food and spacing to her needs The amenities were amazing and our room was extremely clean and cozy

The chef made AMAZING food, and different snacks daily Highly suggest stopping in for a day or two while you explore St Michael’s

What a lovely stay The Hambleton was our first B&B and we were extremely impressed The location was perfect, the remarkably renovated historic home was beautiful and cozy

Debra the owner was very hospitable and Chef Patrick did not miss any marks with his dishes or service! There are positives to this placeIt is super clean, the housekeeping staff are top class bestThe design of this hotel is not intended for the traveler to remember the view

The photo with the truck shows our view The other outside photo shows the beautiful view we should have enjoyed, because we were in the best of the rooms that is complete with a wonderful relaxing hot tub and a nice small balcony If the balcony view would have been the other outdoor photo I would have given a better ratingThe amazing king size bed was the most comfortable bed possible, wow, loved it !BUT , the room’s decor was stark, uninviting, and had the ugliest bittersweet color chair, which is shown in the photo1 ugly chair besides the next ugliest chair that served as a desk ? chairThe small TV was not placed to enjoy while in bed To be fair, this review is to alert those that enjoy ultra comfort in a fine welcoming environmentI will say, if you are just looking for a place to sleep while traveling, this place is perfect for you because that bed is like sleeping on a cloudI give the staff 5 gold stars, but the hotel itselfnothing extraordinary, it’s a minimalist environment Oh, no complimentary breakfast eitherOur room was offered at a great off season discount, which overall, was a nice deal Due to new hotels in construction around this hotel, I suggest a make over and while at it, give those wonderful housekeepers a raise, because this place was cleaned to perfection

Debbie R

Stayed here as one of the room block options for a friend’s wedding Nice place Very clean

Welcoming staff who were very helpful with any question we had Our room was good – laid out well, lots of outlets for charging electronics The in-room coffee, refrigerator and microwave were nice We liked the balcony, but it was on the side of the hotel next to The Jetty, a bar with live music, and parking lot traffic If you want peace and quiet, ask for the rooms on the other side of the hotel

Celine Li

Nice hotel in a good location Views by the water are great but room with a balcony is only worth it if you get a room with a bayfront view Rooms are clean and bed is comfortable

Service was decent but e-check in was not as smooth as it could be The entire pool area is very small and could do with a renovation- also the ladder was creaky and the water greener than you would expect Workout room had all the basics Would be nice if breakfast was included considering the price of the stay Very nice to walk along the dock and there is an area for sitting by the water

A few weekends ago my spouse and I ventured to popes tavern To start we were a little early for our reservations but they didn’t mind That sat us at our table and offered us beverages

So nice Next I gotta say that the staff which by the way seemed like they were all family were so nice and polite Our waiter who was the owners son was great Now to the food I got one word WOW! Delicious! Definitely disappointed, and borderline angry with this stayWent to check in and asked for a room with a single king bed Went to the room, and walked in on someone lying in bed!Went back down and explained what happened, and got a weakly empathetic “sorry” and was given another room assignment

Got to the room, and it’s 2 double beds, not a king At that point I was done dealing with the front deskThis morning, just stepped out of the shower and getting dressed next to the bed, and someone walks in !!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS HOTEL???!!!!Will NOT stay here again Which is sad, because I have been an Honors member for a few years now

Christina Clement

Cannot say enough great things about the great people who work here We had a bit of a reunion in the lounge and Shay brought us wine glasses so we could keep partying Then another employee got up at 3AM to open the breakfast bar early for people working and running the St Michael’s half marathon

And yes, we partied before the half That’s how we roll 🙂

This place is a joke The reservation system is a game for both dining and lodging reservations They claim they only accept dining reservations from registered hotel guests

For non-hotel guests, they will put you on a wait list for a dining reservation Then, notify you if a reservation becomes available on the date of the requested reservationI requested to be waitlisted about two to three weeks ago for a dinning reservation on Friday, April 15th A few moments ago, I was notified that a dining reservation not available for this Friday because “there are way too many guests staying there” However, there are quite a few rooms available to book online and by phone It is apparent there is still capacity for lodging so I am sure there is availability for dining

Emily Lumley

Had the pleasure of assisting my boss for 2 days at a company outing WOW! The rooms

amazing! The bed was comfy, the sheets were soft I’m pretty sure I left my room and when I came back a few hours later my bed had been fluffed! We just got back from a weekend visit and loved this place! We stayed in the Garden View room which was quiet and very cosy, but we didn’t care for the jacuzzi tub – nice idea, but sides were pretty tall (almost expected a door to get into it)Breakfasts were homey but decadent – the almond creme they provided for fruit and french toast was out of this world! The best part of the stay was Diane, the innkeeper/owner She was so sweet and her demeanor made breakfast very enjoyable and relaxing

Looking forward to another opportunity to visit this place!

Daniel Burgener

We had an absolutely spectacular time here Diane went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of The building itself was gorgeous, and comfortable

The gardens and porch were relaxing, and our room was quite luxurious Breakfast was consistently delicious, and considerable attention was paid to guests dietary restrictions, which was much appreciated

Matthew Scheeler

This place was amazing We stayed here for our mini honeymoon and their attention to detail was impeccable We booked the sunrise room with a double jacuzzi tub

They provided little bride and groom duckies There was a split of champagne chilled and waiting for us as well We will likely be staying here in a year for our first anniversary Looking forward to it! Also breakfast was phenomenal!
