Overall this hotel is a good place to stay The one bedroom suite was clean, spacious, well stocked and comfortable The noise level from other rooms was pretty muted which is also nice

The pool area wasn’t overly attended to, but it was fine to swim in The complimentary buffet breakfast is nothing to write home about There was a good selection of cold items, but the three hot items were odd items and pretty bad

Gary B.

Rooms were clean, large and well maintained except for the beds The pullout couch mattress is the usual poor quality and the king bed mattress is the usual worn springs at the center causing a decline towards the center The gym is above standard for a hotel gym

It had 2 elyptical and 2 treadmills, a large weight set, bench and even a cable machine for pull downs The front desk was courteous and attentive The windows overlook the backyard which looks unkempt Breakfast staff were very nice and attentive Breakfast was the usual hotel hot breakfast Prefab home fry and sausage patties that were microwaved Scones, scrambled eggs, cereal I didn’t see a pancake machine Just Bananas No other fruits Common areas were pleasant

We stayed here on our way from Watkins Glenn State Park to the Animal Adventure Park Was a pretty nice hotel in a pretty good location to food and other stores The Staff at the main desk were very friendly

The rooms were clean, just a bit worn like most hotels are, could use an make over especially the bathroom The elevator made a heck of a noise when we went up to the 3rd floor, from then on until we left we used the stairs as our room was just down from them The breakfast area was good and clean with a good choice of foods Would stay here again if in the area

As I sit poolside… with my family I find myselff looking around the room for pool use hotel towels To my surprise NONE available

With a quick trip to the front desk i find an associate (no name tag so i cant point fingers) on her cell phone with no care to my issue Towels were asked for numerous times by the family and i figured let me have my hand at it She explained in very few words “we have no towels, try again perhaps in the morning” I guess im supposed to use my personal 2 towels from room at pool too How convenient Shake my head

We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and comfortable room, friendly and courteous front desk staff especially Jason who gave us a warm welcome and also guided us very well in terms of dinnerBreakfast was simple and sweet (cereals/bread/bagels/waffles)They have a nice laundry facility on second floor which was a life saver for us!Would definitely try to stay here in our next transit 🙂

Excellent place to stay with your pet Their pet friendly rooms are close to the side door exit on the ground floor, I know it should be a no-brainer, but you would be surprised Room was very clean and no pet odor upon entry

Matter of fact no sign that it was a pet friendly room at all, kudos to the staff Front desk staff wonderful Breakfast very basic, no bacon, sausages, eggs etc, but sufficient to fill up for our next stint on our travels Lady manning the breakfast area made us and our dog feel very welcome We just booked another night for our return trip stay back home

Clean, simple There is free coffee in the morning☕️ and the option to purchase snacking foods The staff have taken the time to give suggestions to places to go and restaurants

One star is removed as Brittany at the front desk could use etiquette coaching Per the instructional signage, I stood a few feet away from her front desk and waited for her to cue me to the front I was ignored while she typed at the desk Then another guest (who hasn’t been waiting) approaches and unbeknownst to him, cut me off and engages in communication with Brittany She responds to him I tell the man that I’ve been waiting to communicate with her as there is a line Generally this would prompt an apology Instead, I’m further ignored My feedback is do not reward line cutters, and acknowledge customers who are waiting to speak with you Even if you cannot get to turn asap, that’s okay Tell them it will be a minute and then work with those in line first

One of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in My room was never cleaned during a 12 day stay, even after repeated requests Dust and mold in the room

Hotel smells like pot all the time Front desk refused to check me in and made me come back later Coffee pot in room broke and they had no replacements No extra blankets or pillows upon request No recognition or upgrade even though I am a platinum IHG member Took forever for parking lot to be cleared after snow storm And we lost power for 5 hours, with no update, notification, or even generator in hotel Absolutely will NEVER stay here again

Breanna Brown

I am a night shift travel nurse, even though I only needed to stay during the day, I booked and paid for two nights, so that I could check in when I got off my shift in the morning at 7:30, and check out by 6pm When I showed up at 7:30, I was told I needed to come back at 3pm to check in, even though I had paid for the night before The manager was extremely rude

This is the first and only hotel that has given me an issue with this, the reason I pay for the night before is so I can arrive at 7:30 am I was luckily able to find a hotel that allowed me to check in early, but I will absolutely never be staying with any hotels with this chain ever again

After golfing 18 holes, my friend lost his hat on a back 9 tee box, after we respectfully waited for the owner to tee off before driving past him, we were told we couldn’t drive through the back nine because we paid to play 18 holes, we told them we weren’t playing and they told us to wait for them to golf 9 and they would bring it back to us at the clubhouse As if we were going to wait for 2 hours for them to bring it to us instead of driving 5 mins to get it

Haley Babe77

Our family stopped here on a recommendation from a friend who was on vacation and set up for the week We are readying our home for a move across country and needed a spot for us, 3 teens and our 2 dogs We have been here around 9 or 10 days now

And I have to say that I am sad to go Everyone here, for the most part, has been awesome Friendly owners, permanent campers and visitors Our site is an extremely easy in and out for our 32 foot rig Dump station, plenty of Porta potties, showers and lots of space And we got alot of use out of the golf course My husband has pretty much mastered the back 9 Nice clean pool as well! When we travel back to NY, we will definitely come back Thank you Fire Fox for your warm hospitality!

Tom LeConey

Pulled into Fire Fox, registered in office Given directions to site Started driving to site, passed two men on mowers who waved to us

Went approximately 100 yards passed them and hooked an electric wire wound around a steel cable which was low hanging and it took off my bedroom air-conditioned Capground told us to our face they would file a claim with their insurance company because damage to our unit was their fault A day later after we returned home and contacted our insurance company, we were informed Fire Fox refused to file a claim stating damage was our fault Fox Fire does not honor their word and use extreme caution trying to get your rig into your site

A truly wonderful and unique place to stay in historic Owego Great location with a beautiful view of the river and Draper Park Close to several options for shopping and restaurants

For staying in the hotel, you get a discount for the restaurant downstairs as well The owner was incredible and personally walked us to our room and went over everything to make sure we had a comfortable stay She even upgraded our room and gave us her personal number in case we had any issues The service and quality of the room were definitely outstanding

Virginia Young

I can’t say enough nice about the Parkview and the owners They understand business and service “the way it used to be” The rooms are so comfortable and very charming

They clearly put lots of effort into making it special and unique They are also very thoughtful and accomodating The location is perfectly convenient, allowing for lovely walks in the downtown area, and the river view from the porch is great The hotel and restaurant are locals favorites and I will visit repeatedly

Tara Morales

This place is an absolute gem, especially if you’re into American colonial aesthetic, which perfectly suits the little town Our room was spacious, clean, and frankly – stunning with the exposed brick wall that faces the Susquehanna The owner, Beth, was more than accommodating and even offered a dog bed & bowls for our fur baby

Absolutely recommend this place!

The place itself was average but the staff are amazing especially the night shift front desk employee Sadi (probably spelled wrong)She was friendly and personable and a problem solverThere was an issue with my room and she aimed to satisfy me 100% and it literally made everything betterShe deserves a raise !! I can also say the gentleman at the front desk on 6/12 was also awesome! Whoever does the hiring gets a thumbs up on picking the right people! Thank you!

Mark Riggi

The hotel was nice and comfortable I have stayed here many times The breakfast offering was terrible

The bread for toast was stale and the had very little ceresl available The plastic wrapped hot fod was disgusting and looked inedible This was very disappointing for a Marriott property and should be looked into I have always stayed in Marriott properties but Hilton is starting to look better

Dana

The rooms were clean and the service was exceptional!! Extremely pleasant staff!! We checked in late after traveling all day and Bill, the gentleman working the front desk, was extremely friendly and so helpful! We appreciated his smile and kindness after a long day on the road, so much so that we sought out a Fairfield Inn every night after while on our trip and were not disappointed at any of them! I highly recommend this hotel! Bill, who worked the evening of 10-28-21 deserves a bonus and recognition for being such a kind young man and great employee!!

For the price, the rooms should be a lot cleaner than they are This place needs to hold itself to higher standards! The bathtub still had hair from the people before us, wasn’t very clean, and the room smelled musty I ended up finding a mushroom growing in the corner by the window! I even took a picture because I couldn’t believe it

So gross I told the hotel staff and all they said is, “sorry, we’ll look into it” Such a disappointing stay

My family enjoyed our stay here We had a king study room which includes a pull-out sofa, fridge, and microwave The room was spacious enough that our pack-n-play fit with plenty of room with the couch pulled out

Everything was clean and comfortable The breakfast was great, and watching the river wildlife from our breakfast table was a nice bonus Overall, we felt we got a lot of value for what we paid

Sue Kirkpatrick

Clean rooms, very nice, even the pullout sofa was comfy, definitely would stay again Staff was great, when we checked in, went to our room and didn’t have a sleeper sofa, they switched and made it right Typical free breakfast, lots of choices

pool area cleaned and stocked with towels and the pool was a comfortable temp, not sauna water, which was good, since it’s been 90 degrees here when we stayed for a softball tournament

Marcel Plante

A great choice for accommodations in the Owego area Close to quaint, downtown Owego as well as the other towns of the Southern Tier The staff is always friendly, the rooms are modern and very clean

Warm, friendly service upon check-in, overall hotel lobby/hallways smelled freshly cleaned, room was clean and comfortable, and the bed offered a great night’s sleep As others mentioned, the bathroom door opened inwards which made it a bit awkward space-wise but I was so happy with everything else that I didn’t mind Hotel and surrounding area was also nice & quiet during our stay

Would stay again in a heartbeat!

David Feder

One of the best hotels we have stayed at in a long while The hotel commonplaces were very clean as were the rooms The desk personnel greeted us warmly and checked us in quickly and efficiently

The service people were likewise very friendly, competent and professional It was a real pleasure to stay at the Courtyard in Binghamton! The one caveat (and certainly no one’s fault) was that the swimming pool heater was broken and a replacement heater was not able to be obtained in a timely mannerso the pool was quite cold

Mark Imming

My wife and I had a brief two night stay at the Courtyard We came up to visit our friends and we were able to stay close by to their house We both agreed that the Courtyard in Vestal, NY was a nice hotel

During our stay I used the simple fitness room on the first floor but we did not get a chance to us their pool We look forward to staying there in the future

I was only there for 1 night, but this is conveniently located to the college and on the same road with shopping and food The room was a great size I love the pillows

Check in was quick but wished the staff and mentioned the back entrance key card was not working when I asked about putting in the back I really like they have hot water and coffee available in the evening

Lauren Danelli

We got a room for 1 night with a six month old & a 6 year old All was good until like 11 & there was so much noise no one could sleep People were jumping & yelling all around us

We called the front desk multiple times The front desk lady said she would leave a note on the people’s door She didn’t offer anything else to us She told us that people just came in & it was probably their luggage rolling around But how does luggage jump onto the floor? The front desk lady was extremely rude Around 11:30 we couldn’t take it anymore & we packed up the baby & child & left in below freezing weather The front desk lady did absolutely nothing for us Didn’t offer any help & now the company is refusing to give us half the money back we weren’t even in the room for a stay Very unhappy with this hotel Staff was extremely rude & not helpful

Brie and Matt sold us immediatelynot only do you get to stay at an incredible beautiful, historically significant, calm + quiet inn, it’s all inclusive drinks, the most delicious breakfast delivered to your door in the morning! Front porch is amazing all day long, AC in room is perfect, and great recommendations on what to do while in the sleepy town

10/10 would recommend!

Maria Vetrano

The Belva Lockwood Inn is a remarkable place The previous owners renovated a stately Victorian house, which was once a female seminary opened by Belva Lockwood–an attorney who is also the first US

woman to try a case in front of the US Supreme CourtEach room at the inn is spacious, comfortable, and has an en suite bathroom And each room is wholly unique, decorated with a mix of period artwork and whimsy The new innkeepers, Brie and Matt, are wonderful! They deliver a delicious basket of homemade pastry, yogurt, fruit and coffee to the room each morning They host wine, beer, and other beverages–with a gorgeous assortment of antipasto items–every evening The inn is a short walk from historic downtown Owego, one of the most charming locations in upstate New York, and it’s across the street from the Susequehana River Owego is close to Ithaca and the Finger Lakes, and New York’s wine country We’ll be back!

Great location, beautiful view Its close enough to major travel roads to get anywhere pretty efficiently I shared a room with 2 queen beds with another adult

The room was actually very spacious, so it didn’t feel like we were in each other’s space at all The bathroom was nice too, with a large bathtub and shelving under the sink for accessories/ toiletries (there was a hair dryer provided on the bottom shelf) Finally there are a few other facts I wanted to mention, such as; A big closet by the front door , TV, refrigerator, the windows don’t open obviously, and the breakfast by the lobby was great

Gary Murdock

This is a beautiful Hotel, we stayed one night and had three rooms, this was a family vacation and we were just passing through We had a king bed corner suite and it was very spacious, the other two rooms were 2 queen bed rooms, which were also a good size roomThe staff were very friendly and helpful, there is a bar and a restaurant on site

But at the prices they charge for breakfast, we opted to eat elsewhere, I feel for what we had paid for our rooms, breakfast should have been included

Nicholas Morano

It’s under renovation and you can see why Service was absolutely outstanding, Josh was extremely helpful our entire stay and others at the desk were always helpful an d prompt I would stay there again, & hopefully the updating will be finished by then

Quick elevators, and great location, with the staff they already have in place there is huge potentialThe bistro menu could use a facelift too

We stayed for one night and had a good experience here The 1 bedroom + loft space was very spacious, clean, and had everything we needed It was great to have separate spaces for the adults and kids to sleep as well as a table to eat at

There are tons of restaurants around to choose from and the hotel provided a full breakfast buffet with lots of options It was a very convenient spot for traveling and we would definitely stay here again

The rooms are spacious with plenty of storage, and a fully equipped kitchenA complimentary breakfast was offered dailyThe best part of my stay was without a doubt the staff They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to make this hotel our home away from home for almost 6 months Teresa and Dennis were extremely accommodating and diligent with our reservations Whether leisure or business, we’ll definitely come back here Highly recommend
