The bad: Our check in lady was new and didn’t tell us anything about the hotel or even how to get to our room & she wasn’t friendly The kids arcade was closed The beds are very small and they only give you 2 small pillows

The temperature was hard to keep regulated, with a weird thermostat Also, not sure why, but most of the elevators were broken and there was a line for the one that was workingThe good: such a beautiful view The river walk is amazing There were raccoons, which was exciting for the kids The beach area is private and perfect for late night walks We would stay here again just for the view

This place is THE place to stay and play if you’re headed to Laughlin! The staff is friendly and attentive While checking in, it happened that they didn’t honor the request we made to be in a lower floor, and they addressed the issue and accommodated us with an upgraded room, at no additional costAdditionally, while gambling, I accidentally left a ticket worth $98 in the machine and a staff member remembered me, because he had actually just paid me a hand pay for a big win that I had, and searched the casino floor to find me

I was shocked! That’s integrity That’s a quality individualIn addition, the food at the Big Horn restaurant is incredibly delicious and reasonably priced The serving staff is friendly and attentiveThis place has everything for everyone

M.C. Hamilton

Our Server was great The food was good It’s just hard to find Big Horn Lodge when you get into the casino

It’s on the second floor and they are remodeling so lots of temp walls up for construction Signage at the bottom of escalator would help Just sayingBut once we found it We enjoyed our meal

I’m rating the restaurant only, have never stayed at the resortGood location, right on the river, but great service and food The downside is they’re only open 4 days a week

We’ve yet to have a poor meal or experience here Tasty pizzas, bugers, and sandwiches, and a very good selection of beersOne of the best places to eat in the tri-state area, not just Needles No hesitation in giving five starsOh, and pay in cash to avoid a small credit card fee

There was a mix up with our reservation but the Manager took care of it and gave us a better rate than we had bookedConfusing entry from the parking/valet areaThe rooms could use some updating and TLC but they were acceptable

Overall, it’s a good place to stay

Brandy Raylean

Had a good time we met family their Only thing I’d like to see change is the attitude of the front desk help the lady that checked us in was rude and not very helpful this after we rented 10 rooms total at the hotel no comps or anything extra was even ofered Trips to Reno and vegas of this size the would have thrown in coupons and some kind of comps

So on that part It was a little bit of a let down for sure

We really enjoyed the hotel room, pool and the beach The casino portion has changed and we rarely saw anyone winning I never heard anyone hooting or hollering the entire time from a good win like at most other casinos

No major wins we’re had Very unusual for a casino I’ve been to casinos all over the country and you usually get at least a little love back from the machines but, this place was sucking us dry, fast! The very rare jackpot wins are only around $12k and they use them for their advertising to lure you inEverything is overpriced except the movie theater At the restaurant, a Cuban sandwich is $1599, a pork chop dinner is $44 A single scoop of thrifty ice cream was $4 Panda Express portions are smaller, we always have leftover at Panda but at this location we both finished our foodThe security guy we talked with outside was very friendly and so we’re the pool staffIf you want to relax by the pool or beach, this place is great If you want to make some money, don’t gamble here

Donna Marie Davidson

I love staying here I took my son with me this time, & we had ourselves such a real nice time Our room was so clean, nice, & the beds were so comfortable

Everyone who works here is so genuinely kind I’m definitely very pleased with the housekeeping department They are so nice, plus they actually make sure that you are comfortable and well- tended to I made sure I tipped them well, because they are the hardest workers there!

Chris Lawrence

I stayed here a while back (April) and have been meaning to leave this 5 star review We really enjoyed our stay – it was part of our honeymoon all the way from New Zealand The rooms were great – large enough, with comfy beds and a good view, whilst also being close to the casino area itself

Pool area was also fantastic Bar staff were great and very knowledgeable about restaurants and activities in the area!Where the Avi really showed though was an issue we had – my wife and I had accidently left our Passports in our room safe, and travelled back to LA I got in touch with the casino and was quite quickly passed on to Chase, the security manager He not only successfully located the passports as soon as he was able to, but offered to fast post these back to us in LA the following morning! He was constantly providing updates and keeping us informed of what was happening – the communication was absolutely professional I want to thank Chase specifically for being so excellent, and making our already great stay even more memorable

Very new hotel that smells new when you walk in Pleasing palette in hallway The lobby has cisterns of water—nice

Free breakfast The room was comfortable with very comfortable bed and bedding Plenty of places for charging Nice bathroom My only negative would be the thin walls Some boisterous guys stayed next door, and it was easy to hear them I would actually rate this place 35 if I could

Rhonda Hosler

The room is spacious and has more than adequate outlets for all electronics and has a very clean bathroom!! The luggage rack holds 2 or 3 suitcases as well as having a closet for hanging things and ample large drawers The staff is both friendly and helpful The most wonderful thing is that the king bed is comfortable! So much needed after a long confined drive 🙂

Jennifer McMullen

Lori checked us in after we’d been driving for 2 days across the desert She is so sweet and welcoming it was like seeing a friend meet you at the door This is the 2nd time we’ve stayed there and both times the rooms were impeccable

It is all brand new and has such a clean modern feel I love the design of the lobby and the finishes in the room We will be back and we hope to cross paths with Lori again Holiday Inn If you read this, don’t let Lori go, she is an exemplary employee that is an immense asset for your company

Oatman is charming, but the hotel restaurant and gift shop made the visit worthwhile The service was outstanding! The Burro’s Ears with garlic are the best made on sight potato crisps I have ever had A must try

I found myself a cute cowboy hat up the stairs in the gift shop, and a biker shirt in the dining area Wonderful enough, we will be back

Eddy Benedetti

First let me say that Oatman as a whole is a wonderful experience and everyone should visit We visited on July 31, 2022 BUT! The waitress at the restaurant was completely rude I do not know what we did to deserve this treatment

She walked around us 5 times before I asked to order her response was “I’m trying to save peoples tables” she finally came over and took out order She never brought our drinks, it was July and very hot outside Two other tables were sat ordered and got their drinks when I decided my family and I were being treated badly I watched her deliver drinks to another table and gave me side eye We got up and walked out My son told her to forget our order and she didn’t have anything to say Again, I don’t know what we did but she is a waitress and her job is to customer service If this waitress is reading this let me say one thing, my son is a server and as such we tip very well I feel bad for you because you missed out on a nice family and a nice tip You are also lucky my family didn’t let me speak to you because no one treats my family badly

I think this hotel has the most to offer, compared My husband likes to gamble, and he had fun! I don’t gamble but there were other thing s for me to do like have cup , of coffee, and knit, or sketch, or look in the gift shop,or listen to the band the first night Our room was great, we rested well

I felt welcome, and the staff was awesome Thank you Aquarius Casino!

Daniel Goetz

We didn’t rent a room here so neutral on thatWe swung through on a whim while on a weekend trip Had a great time

The machines were fairly loose when we were thereThe casino was exceptionally clean despite there being a lot of people Masks were optional and encouraged but not required Really enjoyed wondering around and checking out the gamesShopping was available at the casino as well as restaurants Great place when you want to kill a few hours 🙂I’m certain we will be back again

Florin

Stayed here for 2 nights I figured $8000 per night as advertised was a great deal

But after all the taxes, I ended up paying $26000 About $100 more than I expected Which, what ever I get it Still feels like a rug burn The place had a lot of games, that was a big plus Not much of an option on food I mean, I can go to Outback anywhere The huge disappointment was the smokey smell in the casino and in the room even though it was a no smoking room The ceiling in the casino is caked with tar around the vents I showered twice when I got home and I still feel like there’s smoke on me and in my sinuses Also, the shower ceiling in the room the drywall/plate they had above it was chipping off There’s no ventilator fan in the restroom so the steam has nowhere to go One of the six elevators in our tower was very loud and scary to ride I will say, the employees were all very friends and kind I don’t think I’d stay here again unless they added several attractions for the kids The Riverside has a car museum, bowling alley, theater, laser tag for kids and lots of unique places to eat They are running the USS Riverside up and down the river I just liked that location a lot more

There are 12 hotels in Needles

3 of them are worth staying in This is definitely one of them The guy at the desk was friendly and funny and got us checked in fast I showed a website with a lower price listed for the place and he adjusted the charges to match We had dogs and there is a minimal pet fee and they have certain rooms for travelers with pets I think the difference might be they are the tile floor rooms? I don’t know though The tile floor was clean and shiny and the room smelled fresh (not like a pet room at all) The mattress was just okay but the sheets were crisp and white and smelled fresh cleaned with lots of pillows to choose from They also offer a discount at the restaurant across the street I would stay here again!

Arielle Cabico-DeFile

This is a place where you definitely should not assume is low quality! The room was very clean and tiled floors There’s enough parking where you can actually park in front of your room instead a few parking spaces over We stayed in a ground floor room, but weren’t bothered by the people above us, which is a huge plus

🐶 They ARE pet friendly! $15 a night for the first pet, and $5 for additional pets They only allow up to 3 pets per room, and NO breed restriction! They also have about 8 rooms designated for pets, but it wasn’t too difficult for us to secure one of these rooms since we were a last-minute reservation

Overall this is a nice hotel, and it’s cool that the casinos right down the stairs and there’s a few good restaurants and a convenience store that works out nicely It’s a little dated and could use some love, especially with the AC, but if you flip it on, and then go gamble a bit or grab something to eat, it does the job fairly quickly, but you don’t have a lot of control over it for temperature wiseThe staff is always super friendly and nice though so that’s always a plus

Had a bit of a scare when the fire alarm went off by mistake but that’s only happened once and we’ve stayed here like six times The prices are really good too which is nice

Tara metalandroses_vintage

Love the pool and hot tub! We arrived on a Monday and really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere (compared to Vegas) So we decided to stay a second night! The elevator to the rooms are so close to the elevator’s in the parking garage, it was a relief Because they offer an assortment of gambling, restaurants and the pool area, we didn’t even need to leave the hotel!

John Auger

I like this resort and casino The casino is kept well cleaned and the cocktail waitresses are on it Seems to be a littler scale casino but is just right

The wife and myself even play some Bingo here in their Bingo hall The Cafe food is okay, the pool is nice and the resort is not really that crowded This is a place that we will always come back to stay and gamble as well

We had never started at the Golden Nugget in Laughlin and we truly had high hopes The property was indeed clean, our room spacious, and there was a great selection of slot games on the casino floor However, the “welcome” we received at registration was lackluster and there was no air conditioning in the elevator waiting area, the elevator, or a portion of the hall leading to our room ( average temperatures during our stay were triple digits

Even at night!), and it took hours for the temperature in our room to come down even after we adjusted the thermostat It was not a terrible stay, it just wasn’t as wonderful as we had hoped

It is an older facility, kept up by a great crew (Melody, Stacey, Gordon and many others) The location is outside of the busy strip area and adds to the casual atmosphereChicago style food in the restaurant is very good and has a variety on the menu that is surprisingly large for such a small restaurant

The employees are all so helpful and accommodating and my every request is handled quickly and politely Room rates are low for weekly rentals (considering it is a casino town with some very expensive rooms on the strip) I am a single male (recently widowed after 50 yrs) and am so happy with the comradarie with the other guests, they all make me feel so welcome and part of the group without being intrusiveI would definitely recommend the Bayshore Inn for a long term rental in this beautiful town

Bobby Jones

I have lived here for the past couple weeks and all of the staff are top notch The rooms are very clean Melody the manager is very polite and very nice, her staff Jennifer is very nice too

Bruce’s restuarant has great food and the Bartenders are also great, I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to stay somewhere nice

We rented cabin #237 for a 1 night stay Very spacious and comfortable but it was an older cabin I’ve been here another time with the newer cabins and those were WAY more nicer than this one and had a loft with 2 twin mattresses for the kids to sleep on

So the kids were bummed that this one didn’t have oneThe RV park itself is very clean and nice looking They had a lot of spaces for RVs The pool and cafeteria area is very modern and clean Make sure to bring cash for any breakfast, lunch, or dinner you want to purchase on the weekendsOverall, 4/5 rating because the cabin we stayed there was older and needs to be updated The heater didn’t work either and slept in 58 degree weather that night That was the temp INSIDE the cabin 🥶I did make this reservation the day before we arrived So maybe that’s why we got the older cabin But for the future, ill be sure not to get this cabin and ask for one with a loft 😊 Oh and the view is beautiful at night with the Laughlin casino’s ❤

Thomas Berry

For the most part it’s a large RV parking lot There aren’t many amenities and the few that there are have restrictions due to covid The pool was the only amenity that anyone would use and it was nice

The community is older couples who generally stick to themselves So the area was quietThe sites weren’t that level which was a pain because it made opening our door a hard task for the kids We tried re-leveling 3 times to no availWater was clean, restrooms were adequate, power had 30 amps, and we didn’t use the cable There was a concrete slab at each site and no bench, no fire pit, and few or no trees (so no hammocks) As usual, there was wifi but only at the clubhouse and it was slower than dial up Have your own or enjoy being off grid
