This hotel is wonderful Every inch of this place is clean Elevators are bright, clean, and roomy

The modern decor is inviting and you get a TV you actually enjoy watching Room AC was epic and we could cool down and relax The location has immediate access to food and coffee favorites and is surrounded by beautiful countryside My kids and I decided immediately that we wanted whomever designed this hotel to come remodel our house

smoochie wallace

Had my daughters baby shower here, great room, beautiful hotel Buy we had some questions and needed the tables cleaned (they all had dried coffee and soda can rings on them) and we could not find any staff members We actually called the hotel lobby while we were standing in it and no one ever showed up to answer the phone

I got some wet paper towels and cleaned the tables off and we took care of everything else ourselves

Should the unseasonably warm winter inspire your neighbors to engage in a frenzy of house renovations, give yourself permission to get away Look, you work hard You have responsibilities

Your home has been your office for over 700 days When a presentation is due, you shouldn’t risk your livelihood or sanity to the din of circular saws, hammers and swearing Repair to your local Hilton owned hotel It is a bargain when compared to the risk to your annual salary Clean, friendly staff, comfortable rooms QUIET

The facility was clean and staff friendly My stay was 5 days The day my shower was room temperature, at best

The next day I was moved to another room I tested the water before moving and it was OK In the morning the shower was only lukewarm The water was lukewarm the rest of my stay Apparently they got a new water heater the same day I checked in They offered apologies and some extra points Not good enough

Cashback Vagrants

I’m a Hilton Diamond member I stayed here for 1 night from Feb 18 – 19 The hot tub was dirty

The color of the water was green I selected to receive $10 food credit (stayed with a friend, so total of $20) The receipt i could download from the app or web site is totally different from the one they sent me They gave me a courtesy credit, but I was accused of me doing something wrong rather than something else is going with their system I have to assume that this property is playing a game like some Marriott properties In their new receipt, it said I arrived at 9:42:00AM, which is in correct I did not check in ’til 5:30PM The Google timeliness clearly shows thatDo not trust this property and make sure you go through your receipt as soon as possible

Joe Newport

An overall great stay Good parking in an area that felt safe along with very close access to the interstate and access to local restaurants Clean facility with friendly staff

The app that allows you to pick your room with contactless check in is also quite nice However the app did not control access to the pool area requiring a keycard be made to gain access The pool area was very nice and felt private with adequate supply of towels and seating but the water could have been clearer and the air temp in the room was a bit high Again, overall a great stay with minor areas for improvement

Got checked in and checked out the rooms Shower curtain was practically falling off the walls, microwave constantly ran and had to leave the door open, one of the locks on the door was completely broken off, the awning at the front door was rotting away So we asked for a refund and the front desk said we were lying and that I had taken a shower already in the room when we had checked in 10 minutes ago

She went to “check” the room and just left the premise Another lady came and gave us the refund Do NOT stay at this hotel Plenty of other places to stay for the same amount with better service and rooms

grace guinee

Honestly it does the job for a place to sleep in It was cheap which was nice but it’s not the greatest Our room had an interesting smell when we walked in, it wasn’t a BAD smell per-say but not a pleasant one

Large yellow stain on the top comforter of my bed so I pulled that off right away And on further looking, the sheet that they put over the mattress that doesn’t come off was kinda gross Let’s just say as someone who doesn’t usually bring extra sheets with me to put on the bed, I’m pretty glad I had them this time The reading light on the headboard didn’t work and the outlets were so loose my charger adapter fell straight out when I tried to put it in My mom went for breakfast in the morning which is from 6-10 No eggs or forms of protein, another family down there said they ran out of any real food before 9 I’m not a high maintenance person by any means so this really is an honest review Does the job for sleeping but definitely not the nicest room i’ve ever stayed in

Ntxhuav Lis

Not bad over all, pool is closed do to heater not working as a staff said Grand daughter was looking forward to it, but no luck Bed is comfortable, there is a tv, microwave, fridge, hair dryer, bath fan work

Tissue box got six pieces left One reading bed side light doesn’t work Could have use outle on both sides of bed now days with cell phone charging The parking lot is well lighted

Fabulous Staff and equally amazing property This is one of the best Marriott properties I have ever been when I visited my brother The staff led by the Manager Cassie were truly outstanding

I could witness the cleanliness, room size and the speed of service were all above par The check out process for my brother visiting from abroad has some complexities by the way it was booked by the Travel Agency but Ariana at the front desk along with Cassie sorted it out without breaking a sweat and with a smile on their faces I was really surprised by their fantastic knowledge of the hotel reservations and professionalism under stress Way to go!

Lauren Canada

The service was excellent! Veronica was very attentive as she made sure to take care of me and my family! The other staff is very professional as well They have amenities to accommodate your whole family Also, the hotel is right of the highway and surrounded by convenient stores so you don’t have to travel far! I will definitely stay there again!!

Room was pretty big and decently clean Saw some hairs in the bathroom and there was some pretty obvious wear and tear throughout the room Just about everything you need in the kitchen

The water pressure was pretty weak in the bathroom, but great at the kitchen sink The water got nice and hot everywhere The A/C worked well I could hear people walking above and next to my room, but not terribly There was some weird clicking noise that woke me up throughout the first night I thought about switching rooms, but just turned the fan on to run all night as white noise and that helped TV responded slowly, but worked Internet was super fast A couple drawers were broken, but I didn’t need them Love the shampoo/conditioner/body wash dispensers in the shower so I don’t have to bring any Plenty of towels The breakfast was okay Sometimes the hot stuff wasn’t hot They had sandwiches in sealed bags in the warmer and one was actually cold I’m sure they’re doing the best they can with limited resources My mobile key didn’t work, which was inconvenient because I hate carrying the room key that tends to get deactivated every time the wind blows

Location needs a lot of TLC I feel like the TV setup was supposed to be innovative, but honestly came off as annoying and limited Weather wasn’t even that bad and satellite kept going out

Shower room was dark and shower head is very low and I’m not that tall I feel bad for anybody 6ft or taller trying to get clean Staff was a roll of the dice Some days you felt welcomed and others interrogated Courtyards are typically some of the best hotels I’ve stayed in This location was definitely an exception to that rule

Kesha Donaldson

So let me start by saying I think they are in the midst of a renovation project With that being said the outside is questionable They should really work on the curb appeal as a Marriott affiliate I attempted to turn around and go to a different hotel upon driving to the property

The lobby looks nice The weight room could use some much needed ventilation! The carpet in the halls is nice However the doors leaning up against all the walls everywhere was the 1st eyesore!Let me just say that I’m an avid Bonvoy member and I prefer Marriott over all other hotels and this one is a poor representation of Marriott Hopefully when it’s complete it will live up to the nameNow, the room the furniture was dated! Like from 1937 starting with the dresser and moving over to the sofa, the headboard, the desk and let’s not forget the retro or college mini fridge I mean really? The headboard (wood) was chipped The sofa had stains Even the nightstands were dated The best part about the room was the remodeled bathroom except they left the old dingy, dimly lit light fixture behindI guess the desk clerk thought he was doing us a favor by telling us that he gave us the EXECUTIVE SUITE, BS! Our view from the balcony was the back of Chuy’s(restaurant) and two dumpsters full of mattresses and other stuff Totally disappointed in the quality of the hotel for the price we paid Courtyard was not worthy of the fees they charged for our 1 night stay

Joseph Collins

It was a nice place to stay a few days on business Michael was extremely polite, professional, friendly, & very helpful Other employees were great, too; I’m sorry I don’t remember anyone else’s name

I liked the location, because there’s plenty of stuff around, ie restaurants, stores, the highway, yet it was still pretty quiet when the bars nearby weren’t cranking the music The pool looked alright, but the hot tub was broken – it’s probably fixed by now It did cost a bit more to stay there than it should

The service was friendly The room was clean The bed was comfy

The location was convenient for usBreakfast in the morning was 25 stars Not great, but about what I would expect from a hotel breakfastThe complaints I have are that the bathtub drain was clogged so showering was a bit of a pain But it was clean, and the water was good and hotMy other problem was the noise I stayed on the first floor and the people above me had a wrestling ring going on until after midnight The hotel makes you sign a paper acknowledging a noise ordinance from 10pm-7am, but they don’t actively enforce it The thumping started up again at 6amBottom line, this room is advertised for $138 a night and I just don’t feel like it’s worth that I would have given it 5 stars had I paid $80 for it Anything over $100 feels like a rip off for what you get

amanda peterson

The staff makes this hotel 5 stars! Jasmine greeted me with her warm smile and bubbly personality Then came in Tyler, so accommodating! Very personable as well Lastly, at breakfast this morning was Casey! Talk about attention to detail

He made you feel like you were the most important person in the world Keep up the great work! You have a valuable team

Will and Ray’s service on my last night was what took this experience over the top They went above and beyond my service expectations and sent me home glowing at the wonderful service they provided My other experience with other employee’s was also impressive

Had a spacious room that had the ac already running and cold when I arrived Room size was nice and spacious Breakfast is very expensive, though tasty, but I looked elsewhere for eating Mall is located close and quite a few fast food joints

Livvy Scott

Stayed during covid; so didn’t get room service + other things that are usually offered Still enjoyed our time They were remodeling while we were there, but it wasn’t too bad

We stayed for mother’s day, so I could go shopping at Edinburgh outlet mall! Room was clean and customer service was great! Highly recommend! Hope to be back soon!!

Brandon Abbott

Wonderful room, it was comfy staff friendly inviting and the restaurant inside is amazing and their breakfast is top notch My only complaint is the pillows were flat and when I made my reservation they booked the wrong room be through when you are reserving your room I told them I wanted the big tub with jets (meaning more than one person) separate from the shower and bed

I received the room with a jetted tub for one person, nice but not what I wanted Lesson learned!

My husband stayed at this hotel in November and was charged a $50 “deposit” that he was told would be refunded in 7-10 days He has tried calling several times and has been unable to get anyone to answer the phone I have sent faxes twice to the fax number listed on his receipt but have not heard back from them

To this date we have not received the $50 deposit I would not recommend using this hotel

Alex Quah

Was completely fine until I came down to get some snacks There was no sign that said I needed to buy them, nor did the lady at the reception told me So I assumed my payment for the room counted for them

*Then*, a different employee with a beard and glasses came up to my room and treated me like I stole them before grabbing them out of my hand Utterly disappointed in how this was handled

I’m giving them 5 stars because the newly remodeled room was beautiful, clean, and comfortable! The hotel is still being remodeled and pool wasn’t open but we were in the area for a basketball tournament and my grandson’s team stayed at a different hotel Those rooms were full but my grandson was very happy because he said our room was a lot nicer than the other hotel Front desk person was very nice and friendly! Would definitely stay there again!

Roberta Wilfong

Stayed 2 nights, very nice and very clean They are doing extensive remodeling in lobby area but they are doing their best to accommodate Grab and go breakfast but very nice, hot sandwich or cold cereal

They are allowing me a couple hours late check out, I usually wait in lobby for my daughter’s meetings to get over but since no lobby thank you would stay here again for sure

Sufficient for an overnight stay while traveling Decent location As others have pointed out, back parking lot was a little sketchy with loiterers, presumably (hopefully) extended stay guests

But they seemed relatively harmless I felt the rooms were adequate and clean Overall a decent stay Probably not ideal for high maintenance types 35/5

A Day With Daisy

Obviously family’s staying there Doesn’t feel safe We found blood on the sheets

Stains everywhere Hair in the bed and bathrooms The Hampton Across the street definitely is worth the extra 100!! We ended up going over there to check it out and we’re stunned to find how much we messed up It was definitely way nicer and felt a lot safer There was a lounge Area! A nice pool! All the rooms are new! The staff was so nice! Ya we messed up 🫣

Amber Wampler

The breakfast was good with lots of variety The beds were clean and comfortable However, the bathroom floor was absolutely filthy

It has not been swept or mopped in forever I took a wash rag and swept across the bathroom floor and it was brown with hair, including pubic hair The toilet was not well cleaned and the shower needed a little more cleaning There was also a fight among several other residents and after there was a lot of noise and people who were bleeding standing around the hotel It was disgusting and very uncomfortable The swimming pool was really cold and did not appear very clean

These reviews were very misleading Although the front desk attendant was very nice this hotel was not clean from the lobby to stairwell and rooms were dirty The first room they put me in was being cleaned when I arrived for check in at 245pm after the housekeeper was done cleaning the room it smelled and was dark and there were ants

The second room I was moved to was not much better stained bed sheets and the carpet was filthy I was so uncomfortable I didn’t stay

Mandee Majorly Misunderstood

Conveniently located off of I-65 Clean, cozy, family friendly hotel Modern, spacious rooms

Nice pool & fitness room Inviting, spacious lobby & breakfast room Generous breakfast spread offered each morning, & fresh coffee 24/7 Excellent Wi-Fi, with USB ports accessible in room, & within the breakfast room Very detailed & thorough housekeeping staff Friendly & accommodating front desk staff One of the best family friendly hotels in the Southport area

Kristi Morris

I Purchased two rooms ($300) for a birthday party for my 12 year old daughter and her friends Around 3am the night staff (Allen) started banging on my daughter’s room claiming they were making too much noise (They called and woke me up saying a scary old man was banging on their door and woke them up…hard to make noise when we’re asleep) Allen kicked us out and locked the main doors behind us while we waited for parents to arrive to pick up their kids

As we were leaving, we could still hear others being loud, one of them he even chased down the hall but, no one else got kicked out Just a mom and nine kids that he woke from a dead sleep He was very rude and disrespectful, he literally stood behind me while all the kids called their parents!I will never recommend this place nor will I ever stay or make plans with this company again!

Wow! Absolutely amazing place Easy to get in and easy to get out Clean area Hookups connect easily

Facilities are beautiful and clean The person in the office…wonderful Answered quickly and when not in office answered my numerous messages Always kindSuggestion…make a reservation ahead of time!

Before booking a site here, I read the past reviews, being certain to check the dates posted I noticed that the reviews have been getting better and better as the years went byI don’t know what I would have improved about this place

It’s immaculate and well -maintained One can see there have been rather expensive upgrades made to the water and sewage systems These folks are really trying to give their clients the biggest bang for the buckMy site was level and long enough for my trailer and my truckThe 2 ponds were low while I was there, but being the remnants of the gravel pit, I think that’s controlled by the water table in the surrounding landI had no reason to have any interaction with the staff or to use the facilities, so I can’t speak to thatI stayed here in a 28-ft travel trailer

Jake Baker

Nice RV park They have a nice pond and we even found a big box turtle just meandering around Would definitely stay here again if I need to be in the indy area

Parking the trailer was a breeze Hookups are a little far forward in the lots so make sure you pull the tongue of the trailer all the way to the end of the lot before unhooking

5+2We were headed back towards Chicago when we decided to stop for the night because of all of the rain and storms going on at the timeThere are other hotels in this area, but, I didn’t want to spend another $200 for a night’s sleep Fairfield was the choice, and a very good one I might add

The staff was friendly although over worked, the breakfast was wonderful for a hotel type of breakfast that they serve in the lobby The exercise room was great and the pool big enough to do what you need in a pool, lol!I saw some people didn’t like the bathroom? A sink a toilet and a shower, towels free shampoo free disinfectant wipes and free hand sanitizer! Some folks might like gold-plated faucet handles? The bathrooms were very pleasant and cleanAs a matter of fact, everywhere we went in this hotel was clean🤜🦠🤛So, you get good value for your dollar at this hotel No crack’s in the walls, no spots on the rug, no broken tiles in the bathroom, no dripping water in the sink, an in room coffee pot with all of the amenities, microwave, refrigerator, iron and ironing board, closet, hangers, why do people complain so much!

Billy Masten

Management very unfriendly called the police on me for sitting in my van smoking Told me they didn’t know that I had a room there whenever I spoke to her that morning about my room being very judgmental and prejudice because of my tattoos I’m here on a business trip paid for 8 days in advance for the Sweet room on 4th floor 300 per night Very insulting and embarrassing
