Very nice place for a mid-tier hotel Seemed brand new and was immaculately clean Nice tile floors in the room, which I like so much more than carpet

Rather than individual mini shampoo, etc bottles, they had full size bottles attached to the shower walls; it’s a much more environmentally friendly practice that I appreciate that some hotels have switched to doing The hotel receptionist was very friendly Check-in was a breeze And, the price was fairNote: This is one of two Holiday Inns we stayed at on our 15-day road trip Both were much better hotels than I expected My memories of Holiday Inns from 20+ years ago were similar to dumpy Motel 6 quality, and I only chose these ones due to lack of options on this trip I have now reconsidered my stance and will have no problems staying at other Holiday Inn Express hotels again in the future

We are a long haul trucking family We stayed here; 1 Because there is semi-truck parking and 2

It is really clean amd smelled fresh Chad was working the front desk and was very kind and seemed happy Unfortunately, due to a storm, there was a power outage Chad was very calm and tried to accommodate what he could with the issues which were out of his control I appreciate his kindness and composure dealing with customers and complaints He is a gem!

Do not recommend this place AT ALL!!!! The elevators were not working, which I can understand things happen, but there was no breakfast this morning No warning, nothing It would have been very nice to know that there would not be breakfast on a BUSY Saturday morning

There were quite a few people downstairs eating fast food breakfast that they walked to get The ONLY decent thing about this place was their night attendant She was very kind but that doesn’t outweigh the fact that no one is ever up at the desk to ask any questions about anything Not even this morning on, like I said, a BUSY Saturday morning at 8:30am with a lot of people staying in their establishment Holiday Inn has really gone downhill and I will be avoiding them like the plague

This motel was specifically chosen due to its 3-star rating and 43 customer rating The A/C in my first room wasn’t working

The front desk agent then transferred me to a 1st floor room reserved for people with disabilities We took a quick tour of the room and it seemed to be a better fit with air After putting all of my items in the room, I looked around and noticed that the room was QUITE DIRTY Stains covered EVERY piece of furniture There were still bits of dried food around the front room sink Each room’s wall corners were covered in cobwebs The walls had stains, and the floor was sticky The toilet in the adjacent room made a chain saw-like noise each time it was flushed I sprayed the sheets with Lysol spray before getting under them to lay down, but when I did, I smelled urine There was a general odor in the room I spoke with Debra the incredibly nice and welcoming front desk agent and she made every effort to assist me She said the hotel was fully booked when I wanted to switch rooms Sadly, this hotel did not live up to its 43 out of 5 star rating If you’re searching for a very nice, clean, modern, and comfortable stay, I wouldn’t recommend this one

Ricky Williams

Furniture and rooms are fairly dirty, computer chairs are dirty and torn Virtical mirror was damaged Coffee stains embedded on the counter top

Bathroom cabinets were torn and like dogs has been chewing on them Not a good place to stay and rest Someone above me was making frequent loud sounds The staff basically blew me off Extremely terrible experience In my opinion the staff has only one objective that’s revenue

Vicki Busboom

I don’t like staying with dogs Dog is still barking down the hall Elevator smelled like dirty feet, then realized it is a dog

They have water issues When you flush, still looks like someone peed in toilet People above me stomping on floor Lots of room noise Have dishes but no cook top Why dishes ? Not enough lighting at desk area

Due to a miscommunication, a hearing accessible room was booked instead of an ADA room which was needed Reeta was kind and understanding as she worked to find us an appropriate room She managed to fix everything so our room and stay was perfect

The ADA room we got was very large and very comfortable The roll in shower was wonderful Hotel is very clean and whenever we asked for anything, we got it right away The location is great as it is very near to the relatives we were visiting Staff was friendly and courteous Definitely would stay here again

Ty Mitchell

Our stays at this hotel have been great and very accommodating! Rooms always clean to our expectations and the housekeeping staff has always been kind and very accommodating to every single request! Rohit ( the hotel clerk at the front desk) is wonderful! He was accommodating to every single need my family and I had and his customer service skills are beyond exceptional! He remembers my family by name whenever we see him, his conversations and suggestions have been so helpful and sincere, and he always has a welcoming and compassionate personality that lights up a room! It’s the staff that makes a hotel good and he does an absolutely great job!

DandV Greggs

Roach in our room Bathroom door latch was broken & wouldn’t stay closed Requested new room but was told none were available and maybe maintenance could come in the morning

I was fine with that However, went back to the room to find a cockroach crawling around Absolutely unacceptable Checked out within an hour of being there Horrible experience

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a stay This web site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This resort is one of the highest rated in the area

I’ve been coming here for years If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t regret itEverything about this hotel is perfect! The cleanliness is superb, the staff is very friendly and helpful! The rooms are spacious and updated And front desk employee Elicia leaves you with a great first impression about the hotel I will definitely come back again whenever I need to visit Houston area

Marshall Watson

I was miserable and desperate in need of a clean, comfortable and affordable room for the night This place far exceeded my expectations! The room was huge The pool was clean, so was the fitness center

The entire hotel was spotless The staff was genuinely friendly And the breakfast bar had blueberry pancakes I was really blown away by this place Everything was 5 stars or better!

Brannon Happacher

The room was all around better then expected Usually in my experiences, they somehow make the room look much bigger in the photos then it actually is But not in this case

And just as presentable as well Service at the front desk was very accommodating too Only complaint wouldn’t be anything owed to the hotel itself but to Google maps Tried to get me lost just before I hot there lol! But in all A wonderful experience for sure

One of Hilton chain of long stay hotels I’ve had the opportunity to stay at these hotels for more than 4 months at a time in different states Always better places to stay

All suites Staff is polite for the most part They know their businessClean, spacious rooms Good decoration and detailsBreakfast could be more appealing, not the same prepackaged eggs But then most hotel brands serve the same type of meal Guess they all have the same supplierI enjoy my stays at the Homewood Suites Become a member and you get extra perks as you advance in status

My family and I stayed here during March break The room was spacious enough for the 4 of us, although the kitchen area was small With the king size bed and the convertible couch, it was perfect for us

Breakfast was okay- standard coffee, tea, hashbrowns, eggs, bread/bagels, fruits, juices etc They did change out the main hot dishes on a daily basis There was a waffle maker and almost everyday, there was a line up to use it with some people making multiple waffles for their entire families!!The staff were great – very accommodating and attentive! We would very likely stay here again!

Kim “Kim R.”

This is my second time staying at this location I was pleased with the first experience, however this time was extremely disappointing I booked the one bedroom king suite, but I was put in a accessible suite, which I did not request or book

There was huge stain on the sofa couch There was loud music playing until the wee hours of the morning I was unable to get a good nights rest due to all the loud music Due to all these issues I will not be returning to this location in the future

Chazz B

The desk clerk was friendly Well lit parking lot, felt like a safe area Rooms were very spacious and clean, bed comfy enough, but walls are thin

You can hear outside noise Luckily, it was minimal during our stay I liked the toiletry options and the mirror The remote control was duct taped together, but the AC definitely worked! About $75 for the nightI didn’t hate it I could sleep there again if needed

Robert Sean McMurtrie

It was okay

unfortunately the “included” breakfast is a complete joke, and we got the feeling they were using covid as an excuse to NOT deliver We did get free beer each evening during ‘happy hour’ hence not giving an even lower ratingThe rooms are spacious although they are a bit “tired” and could do with some improvement We had a family suite with an additional room but sadly no cutlery or crockery and could therefore not use the kitchenetteThe location is great, we had easy and quick access to all the places we needed to visit

Chris McMillon

At face value, the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the price was reasonable But I won’t be staying here again because they skimp on the coffee, and the man in reception was absolutely miserable, and did not seem to appreciate my presence there at all He frowned, hardly spoke, and made me uncomfortable

A smile costs nothing and personality goes a long ways

I’m happy with my stay taking everything into consideration I stayed here for a weekend with my 2 dogs for a family event close byThe front desk was very communicative, pleasant and helpful

Check-in was friendly, easy and quick 5 stars on serviceMy room was clean, nice and modern, which is all I can ask for, especially for the very fair price I paidOnly problem was noise I had preferred a more quiet room facing the back instead of the street, but that’s partially my own fault for not specifically asking for it If I had any, I could have popped some ear plugs in to solve that issueThis is a motel where probably a good amount of people stay for longer periods of time, which is not necessarily a problem, but I definitely ran into a couple of questionable characters Not personally an issue to me, but maybe to someone elseI will say, if you travel with pets, this is definitely one of the nicest motels in the area, and they only charge a very small pet feePositive experience over all Thanks!

Here is my honest review We were lucky to get a room here for 3 weeks when our home was damaged The people at the front desk were very nice Ricky, Tamara & Jorge

The rooms were nice & the cleaning staff come everyday to clean, even when you don’t want them to sometimes The rooms were not carpeted Which is a good thing so they can be kept clean & free from odors Speaking of odors many people here are in the transition phase of moving between two places (like we were), and feel a little too at home The place smells like weed & at one point it fairly reeked in our room & my kid was coughing from it To their credit the front desk are very clear that you will be fined if you smoke in the rooms And they have febreeze plug-ins along the top of every hallwayThe first room we were in didn’t have any forks & only one pot The second room we were in was well stocked with kitchen stuffThe towels are too small but we bought some new ones anywaysOverall I would recommend this place & it was a decent price

Monique B

I had to urgently leave my condo and find somewhere to move In the meantime, I need some place to stay and so happy I chose Studio 6 in Katy! It was GREAT! As soon as I walked in, it smelled fresh and clean Ricky got me all settled in and had a great personality

I initially stayed 7 days but then needed an extra day before moving into my new place Jorge helped me right along with thatAlthough this location was far from my job (I work in the Medical Center), it was WELL WORTH IT! Safe, quiet and clean Highly recommend!

Beautiful New Hotel off the highway Very quiet and the hosts are very friendly Hotel still has a new feel and with the new design

Would be a 5 stars if their key entry to each rooms are operational Hosts has to walk you to your room every time to unlock the door But I believe it’s a short term problem that could be fix within week Nice modern showers with fridge and microwave

Henry Zhang

This new hotel is thoughtfully decorated and very comfortable I liked the large bathroom with the frameless shower and the many shelves to put stuff Large and well lit parking lot

Nice pool The breakfast was quite average though, and protein options were very lacking – just hard boiled eggs and sausage biscuit I wish there’s bacon, ham, or sausage links but maybe that’s too expensive nowadays?

CHEAP & POOR SERVICES- Room smelled terrible (body sweats) upon check-in The bedsheet is dirty with a big stained spot of sperm from the previous stay which the housekeeper didn’t even change/clean

– Pillows are flat, old, stained, and worn out- The hotel is quite new but NOT WELL MAINTENANCE Carpets are often dirty with dust/sands steps marks since most occupancy is labor contractors- Front desk agents refused to provide amenities, such as a shaving kit although there are in stock for guest supply And After 8 pm, front desk staff refused to provide shampoo or soap, simply for a reason of no access to housekeeping source?!?!- A housekeeper (Black fat lady) kept knocking guest room to demand used towels but not to provide any new ones This housekeeper acted so weird, rude, and ridiculous- Front desk station is often left unavailable with no staff but found sitting at the guest computer desk or the lobby area- Breakfast provided POORLY with LIMIT both in QUALITY & QUALITY A small tray with a few 4 slices of eggs and sausages, and only 1 pancake maker, making a line of guests waiting although the hotel is not full NO FOOD REFILL so if the first front guest in line takes 3 slices of eggs, the 3rd guest in line would face with an empty tray! AGAIN, NO FOOD REFILL although I arrived at 716 am for breakfast 7 am to 930 am is breakfast time but how many guests could get food?!!- Coffee station in the lobby was dirty, COLD coffee (never hot in pot), a few cheap bags of tea but no HOT water in the pot- $108++ per night Undervalued, cheap, and horrible servicesASHAMED IN THE BRAND CHAIN OF MARRIOTT

I stayed at this hotel with my family (including small kids) We loved the space in the room, the complimentary breakfast and the evening reception The kids loved the indoor pool

The room was clean and comfortable The breakfast food was good and included an omelet bar The indoor pool was heated and warm on a very cold day It was, overall, a great stay We would definitely stay again

Kirsten Kelley

We stayed in a 2 room Suite $180 after taxes for a room that comfortably fits 4(we had 5) It was me, my husband, and our 3 boys ages 8,9, & 12

The boys said their sofa bed was really uncomfortable but our bed was great Breakfast was extremely impressive, they had a full range of hot foods like French toast, Grits, & meats FRESH fruit, every type of danish & bread you can think of and freshly made omelets with whatever ingredients you choose Overall room is a 4/5 and breakfast a 9/5 🤗

Kristen Bray

This hotel was very clean and convenient to west Houston / energy corridor They had plenty of staff working and bussing tables / wiping down immediately during busy breakfast hours, which was a plus We would definitely stay here again

Next time we might ask to try to get a room on the back though because with convenience of the location also comes interstate noise! We had a very enjoyable stay though

I will definitely give it a 5star based on customer service and experience alone Not sure if every shift is the same but this one representative name Michelle was Awesome! Had a few problems with extra towels and sheets and she literally came in as if she was a Housekeeper and took care of the situation professionally and humbly Overall great experience! Michelle and staff made me feel at home

Ok I checked in at 10:30 pm on May 4 , 2022 this hotel just sucks I stayed at several a laugh this by far is the worst they don’t even have pins in the room They really try to cut cost and it shows from the staff to the furniture The young lady Working the front desk seem very irritated from me asking her for things that should’ve been in the wrong I’m sorry it’s not my fault these things are not in the wrong a remote, soap, towels

there is a courtyard Marriott right next-door please choose to stay there I stayed there before and it’s been lovely every time the owners of this hotel should not on a hotel Maybe you guys should invest in something where people have low expectations of the customer service

SANDRA

The hotel itself is a nice hotel and the room was clean and well laid out But the room had an oder

more like a stinch that was had to overcome As for the service, there was no one there when I arrived Granted I arrived late and she appeared within minutes, when I asked her to confirm my late checkout, she said I would have to check with the person in the morning Well in the morning, there was only one person who too busy with checkouts so I had to call a few times It’s just unusual for a front desk not to answer the phone then not to apologize later They generally just lacked customer service skills

Ciara Fults

The hotel staff was very accommodating and polite We had an instance where an unruly guest confronted us and was telling us we needed to leave No matter how politely we tried to diffuse the situation he would not calm down and leave us alone

Luckily, Ana at the front desk stepped in and was able to remove us from the situation and get the guest to return to his room From this experience, I was shown that this hotel has caring and professional staff and that the management does an excellent job vetting and hiring appropriate staff members I would highly recommend staying here from this experience alone Other than that, everything was clean, organized, and professional

Karen Glidden

Front desk service was fabulous Evan, in particular, was so accommodating I had talked to him several times before we arrived and over the phone and in person was a gem! I had 3 rooms (and relatives had at least 10 more for a wedding) and my room had a broken refrigerator so I lost my leftovers from an expensive restaurant, another room had door key issues and finally found out the battery in the door was dead

Same room had plumbing issues that never got resolved The beds were hard was a complaint from all my relatives that stayed in other rooms

Barbara Hebert

Beware of bar/grill charges, 64$ charges added to my bill and the front desk clerk was very rude! Said I needed to speak with manager who has not returned my phone call/email message When I asked clerk his name to report him- he gave me a bogus nameUpdate as of 7/11/22- Manager Kevin Mousavi stated that he would work on getting refund for charges to my account 2 months ago, as of today- I still have not been refunded

Service continues to go downhill

This was the first time my wife and I had stayed in a Tru hotel We were thoroughly impressed The decor was minimalistic, but the room was clean and the b ed was comfortable

In my opinion, it was as if Hilton decided to make an affordable hotel chain with an emphasis on what is truly valued by a guest The bathroom and shower were a comfortable size The bed and pillows were very comfortable The breakfast was very good What we were most impressed by was the cleanliness and the friendliness of the staffWe will definitely be choosing Tru again

Nik Moeller

Tru hotels are very consistent in look, amenities and style Makes it easy to travel when I don’t feel like I’m in a different room every night I’ve gotten so used to these rooms that I don’t have to get used to each location now

That’s the main reason for 4 stars Not fancy but very functional, clean and consistent Katy is a pretty town Coopers and other restaurants are with in walking distance

I was pretty disappointed in this hotel We have stayed in many Tru hotels and love the concept Unfortunately, this was one of the dirtiest hotels we have stayed in

From the front desk having dust built up where you check in to the floors in our room having the last 5 peoples hair on it The dispenser in the shower were empty and in the wrong spot Along with the empty shampoo there was hand soap in there And at the sink there was body wash I ended up getting the bottles out of the dispensers to switch and again, it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned for at least a year My only ask for any employee that reads this Go in a room Sit on the floor and see how dirty it really is Look on top of the mini fridge You guys are supposed to be known for your rooms to be very minimal It shouldn’t be that hard to have the room clean

I just want to take the time to thank Ginger and Julio for the wonderful service that I received while staying at the La Quinta Inn & Suites in Katy, Texas and to share my positive review of the “home away from home” that we resided in for two days The lobby was welcoming with two big screed televisions on the walls and plenty of seating and tables for lounging and eating purposes The room was clean and well-designed with an area in the middle designated for computer use

There was also two televisions in the room with a large comfortable couch on one side of the room to provide a choice of tv viewing for each personFrom the moment of check-in their service was second to none! Kindness flowed freely from each of them and their expressed willingness to help our stay be a good one (Julio brought up those really elegant white blankets for us and gave me great suggestions regarding taxi services in the area and where to find an ATM machine while Ginger helped out with any other information that I needed about area , told us about the wonderful breakfast that was available, and gave us coffee cups with lids to take the coffee with us if we wantedWe received Excellent, Courteous, and Professional Service from Ginger and Julio and I just wanted to take the time to say so

I stayed here about a month ago, and had a pleasant stay The hotel was VERY clean Upon request, the sheets and towels were changed everyday (Covid cases at that time put a halt on daily maintenance unless requested)

Additionally, the staff was very friendly and responsive However, the room was dim lit and the heat was not working at full capacity I set the temperature to 80 degrees because it outside was cold and rainy (high 50s low 60s), but the heat made it feel slightly cooler than 65 This made my stay a bit uncomfortable I don’t think my car should’ve been warmer than my hotel room Thank God the water was consistently hot, so daily showers met my standard of comfort Nonetheless, I was satisfied and would stay here again when it’s not cold

The staff here were very accommodating Our first night the people above us jumped for hours The manager call and offered to move us but my husband was sick so we moved the next morning

The rooms are nice and very clean and breakfast was an actual breakfast with sausage, waffles, eggs, etcOur only complaint was the pool was not heated We were told some story about the chemicals having a negative affect on the skin if the temp is too high As a avid swimmer and former pool inspector in the state of Michigan I knew that was bs but I left it alone Overall our stay was great and we would stay there again
