Loved everything about the hotel and golf experience including the food Very good service including the golf course Nice also that we could shower in clubhouse before heading to airport after the round

The course was top notch, only complaint was paying $250 for twilight golf during the week Paid it because we really wanted to sneak in another 9 holes at 5pm but seemed a little unreasonable Would absolutely go back and play again though

Kara Couch

We recently stayed at Cordevalle for a three night stay and were blown away by the staff professionalism, accommodations, views and facilities! Cordevalle is private, discreet and conveniently located in the foothills of the Santa Cruz mountains The website images and photos don’t do justice to the suites, bungalows or villa homes The bungalow photos on the website looked great, but to our surprise they were even better in person with goose-down comforters, original artwork, a stone fireplace and a Nespresso machine

There was an open-air patio with a superb views of the golf course and a spacious bathroom with a roll-in shower To our delight, was an outdoor shower and a private jacuzzi! They had thought of absolutely everything! My husband is handicapped so we worked with Talia to make sure everything would be accessible for him Talia was extremely detailed and thorough in making sure everything was just right for him! Christian, our golf cart driver, was very timely and pleasant We highly recommend a stay at Cordevalle! What a special treat and memory for our family

Dan Clark

We were only there for a work project, so I can’t comment on the rooms, golfing, spa, etc The staff was very helpful, especially since we were starting very early in the morning It’s a beautiful place, tho’ it’s isolated, not really close to much of anything else

I had lunch there, and it may have been the best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever had The braised red cabbage with pickled mustard seeds, rather then the usual sauerkraut, was an inspired replacement

I stayed here the weekend of June 12 with my partner for one night! Check in went so smoothly, we absolutely loved the person who checked us in, Kathie, I believe was her name! The hotel has a beautiful courtyard with lots of seating, lights, a bar, and olive trees so it was no surprise that people like to host their weddings here! We happened to check in after all the affairs had ended so there was a bunch of leftover food in the lobby which Kathie implored us to help ourselves to! She also personally walked us to our rooms because the hotel is split into three buildings, told us where we should park to be closer to our room, and even helped us carry the food we took lol! Such an incredibly sweet and vibrant soul, and definitely the highlight of our stay !! The room was very clean, neat, and the beds were comfortable! All the amenities you need were also there, including an AC unit

The only downside was that the walls are a bit thin At several points we could hear someone in the room next to us coughing and sneezing

Mo Bradley

Booked my assessable room 4 weeks in advance to make sure my disabled husband could enjoy a couple if days in San Juan Bautista Called inn to verify no stairs That would be a deal breaker

They assured me that a room would be locked in so it would not be given away We arrived to find out we were assigned an upstairs room After many phone conversations the desk clerk had with the person in charge and a long delay for us to rest in a room, the clerk gave us a refund A reason given was that 40 Priests booked the hotel and suggested that Bookingcom made the error I called the hotel itself weeks before to verify the accommodations They wanted names of who I spoke to I had spent enough time with them I now had to find another lodging My parting comment to them is that they needed to find out what happened so that it would not happen to anyone else I am sending this from the Best Western in Salinas We had to travel another 30 miles

Checked in late at night and there was no parking available because there were big trucks taking up parking spots in the entire back row of the parking lot Went to the front desk and the person working there (Daljit) immediately offered to move his car so that I could park in his spotThe entire hotel staff (front desk, housekeeping, the breakfast bar people) were extremely helpful

George at the front desk was were friendly and was a great help! The rooms were clean and furnished with new furniture Very pleasing and relaxingBreakfast was standard fare Everything was well stocked and refilled quickly Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, bread, muffins, pastries, cornflakes, oat meal, fruits, etc Coffee was available 24 hours and there were fresh water bottles available (a nice touch)Will definitely stay here again

I lived in Watsonville for most of my life, moved to the bay area a few years ago First time at this hotel Very beautiful

Called two days before to make sure non service animals are welcomed Pet friendly however upon checking in we did not know there was an animal fee, it was not mentioned over the phone This is the first time I’ve ever taken a fur baby to a hotel so I’m not sure if its with All hotels/motels but would have been nice if that was first mentioned when I called 2 days prior Room was amazing, perfect for the family The only thing I have cons about the room would be the shower There was long dark brown female hair on the shower walls and floor prior to me using it I had to clean the shower while taking a shower before any of my kids used it All in all it was a wonderful stay, would definitely come back and recommend to others

Patricia Cortez

Very cool place for a wedding but the house itself is not that great A big hodgepodge of furniture and no design at all The grounds are absolutely beautiful they have everything there you could possibly ask for except coffee for the Keurig machines in the kitchen

Not really sure how they can call it a bed and breakfast because there is no breakfast served

Tony Nguyen

Tucked away off a narrow dirt road, this hotel has a decent size barn for hosting events Cooled by a couple ceiling fans, it was able to keep the guests comfortable as we danced the night away There is also a giant tree swing! The road incoming could use some lights as a few cars drove straight into a ditch while leaving the property

Casa De Fruta has everything for everyone! The store is stocked full of all the candy and dried and fresh fruits you could imagine, as well as jams and sauces We bought two fresh pies and they traveled well on the two hour trip home We also stopped in at the deli and had lunch

The sandwiches were delicious and well priced The play area for the kids is perfect for ages 5-8 The train ride and carousel are perfect family rides There are several ducks and peacocks roaming the pond and playground area, but they don’t bother anyone

april budd

This is such a fun nostalgic spot for me It’s been our break stop since I traveled with my family as a child I love the market and variety of treats and souvenirs

There is a little train outback, turtle pond and other fun things to see outside I think everyone should make a stop here, it’s a neat and calm place The restaurant is pretty and used to be good though their customer service is down hill this last occasion so we only stop for the rest now

lisa howard

I love the park like setting! The fruit is high quality and the stores do offer a variety of unique items The restraunt is average The brisket is dry and tough

The chicken is dry and bland Every time I’ve ordered food, the order is incorrect The parking lot is large and easy to access I love coming here to stretch my legs Unfortunately, I now bring my own food

New hotel and clean! Comfortable beds Courteous staff A minor problem with not answering their phone

We had to take a break from visiting friends to go to the hotel and make sure that we still had a reservation We did WhewBreakfast had eggs and waffles Egg ham packaged croissants Coffee and juice and moreWill stay again

Melody Smith

Solid place to stay in Hollister, especially if you’re headed to Pinnacles National Park It’s a couple miles from restaurants and shops but great location Full disclosure there is construction across the street but noise did not impede our stay at all

Appreciated the complimentary parking, the luggage storage (we had only carryons), the complimentary breakfast Coffee is above average for hotel coffee Sundry shop offers snacks, Tylenol and some frozen food optionsKing room was mostly clean and appropriated For a two night stay it was enough towels and soap Bed was a bit soft but was comfortable Walk in shower had great water pressureStayed as Bonvoy Platinum members and when we were greeted were offered a king suite complimentary upgrade if we came back in a few hours, so we went out for a bit and came back and received the king room This is fine as it’s what we originally paid for, but as Platinum it’s always memorable when upgrades promised are honoredIf in the area we would stay again

Let me start off by saying that I almost never leave a 5 star review We travel about 300 days per year and stay in 2 and 3 star hotels all the timeThis place was top notch from booking my reservation to check out

Good location just off of the freeway, close to things you would need but not in a super busy congested locationStaff is very professional and very easy to communicate with The facility is very clean and in perfect condition The room was spotless and in great repair, furnishings and bedding were in new condition and there were ample bathing towels, etc in the room The room and common areas have character, as does the staff A common neglected area is the stairwell, which I always use Even the stairwell was cleanI had lost confidence in the Choice chain, however, this place put them right back in my favorite places Really, this is the nicest Comfort Inn that I’ve stayed in since 2019, hands down and now I’ll drop the mic

Brett Currier

Don’t get me wrong the staff was very friendly and the hotel was nice and very clean But here’s where I have a problem I’m a single person working in the area for the day

Stayed on the top floor, the hotel was maybe at a 40-50% occupancy Why in gods name would you put a family of 4 or 5 right next to me 2 little kids and a baby Kids were running back and forth in their room Someone for the past hour is doing nothing but opening the closet door and then slamming it shut The rooms have little stickers on the front door to show that it’s been clean and it’s ready to go More then half the rooms still have stickers on the door/frame So still curious of why they would put someone next to someone else on a slow night This is the first time I’ve stayed here and rethinking if it should be last I understand that there will be noise in a hotel but front desk personnel should know not to put a single person next to a family with kids If they were sold out they would still know how many are in the reservation It’s 10:23pm and the noise continues

Our family and we stayed here for for our wedding that was a few miles away from this beautiful Hotel The staff has been very accommodating and really took care of our family needs as we stayed here The staff was very pleasant and always smiling which we loved, and the morning breakfast crew was cheery and welcoming

We had many kids on hand while we stayed and we loved how there were complimentary treats for the young kids in the afternoon We would definitely stay here again Thank you for a great experience!

Anna Del Castello

The pool was out of service, which was the whole reason we chose this hotel The receptionist offered us a bag of chips as consolation And suggested our kid take a bath in the room, our room only had a standing shower

We should have received a discount for them not providing all of the services listed at booking and we should’ve been made aware of the pool closure at booking We booked directlyThe Room was clean and modern The mini fridge was very loud The AC sounded like a jet engine We had to turn both of them off in the night as they were too loud to sleep The hotel itself was quiet The room was nice and dark with the curtains closed Staff were friendly The breakfast was fine, but ends too early at 9am They used single-use very small paper plates, plastic cutlery in bags, and paper cups for tea/coffee which was very disappointing and inconvenient What a waste! The hot breakfast (eggs, bacon, potatoes) was cold, but tasted good They had cereal, bread to toast, fruit and little yogurts No donuts as the receptionist mentioned

Brianna Thorne

I went here on our way to Monterey I booked it specifically so that my brother could go swimming Starting with the good: The room was clean, the lobby was gorgeous, everything looked pretty good

The issues started when we got back from shopping There was no light in the pool area so we called down to the front desk to ask about it When I asked, “Is there a light in the pool area you can turn on?” the response I got was a snotty, “Does it look like there’s a light in the pool?” I was then told that the hot tub wasn’t even turned on, the jets were broken and the water was as cold as the pool Honestly, it was just the customer service part that annoyed me

An absolutely wonderful stay here Prime location minutes off of California 1, and with a plethora of restaurants and shops in the immediate areaParking was well-lit, albeit a bit sparse but adequate

Clean, quiet, and well-managed, everything a HI Express should be Also features the newest HI Express modern interiors Great for families with the indoor pool

Sleep is a challenge with noisy intermittent AC unit – even with earplugs Room amenities were lovely & clean, just missing a place to hang clothes (drawers only) The pool was the perfect place to unwind with the kids

Staff was beyond friendly and helpful (provided earplugs too!) Nice central location for our visit Breakfast was plentiful – eggs, bacon, sausage, French toast, bagels, yogurt, oatmeal, cereal, fruit, and every drink choice you could want without hitting a Starbucks (which was also nearby)

JVILL Gonzalez

I stayed here 03/11 – 03/14 and I got to say it was better and cleaner then I thought the staff was nice enough to upgrade my room from a regular bedroom to a suite since they had availability and it meant a lot because it was my Anniversary The rooms and hallways are clean and all the Receptionist were very nice 👍🏽 I definitely will be coming back again if I’m ever around the area

Thank you Guys for a Great Experience 💯

I always call and confirm my reservation the morning of my stay, added my husband’s name to the reservation as well Got a call from my husband inquiring which hotel we were schedule to stay at, this after a 4 hour drive I told him the hotel he stated they couldn’t fine our reservation and sent them to another hotel

I called immediately and was put on hold several times, finally they said they found the reservationSince it was late My family jumped over to grab food and settle in as we had soccer the next morning During the morning we realized the one bathroom had NOT been cleaned or serviced There was mold on the ceiling and a dirty rag on the shower rodThey stopped by and asked that the bathroom be done and extra bath towels be left Guess what later that night when we got back , the bathroom was still NOT CLEANED, NO EXTRA TOWELS, nothingUpon Check Out this morning husband mentioned all of this again only to be told , the issues had already been dealt with with their manager??? Nothing had been dealt with I’m very disappointed in this hotel and their lack of communication and cleanliness

Frank Gorgenyi

The friendliness of the staff is the main redeeming quality of this property At every turn they helped out The reason for three stars in what would have been a four star stay was housekeeping

We had a few issues like our room not being fully cleaned the first night, housekeeping getting the drain stuck down the second, no house keeping the third day so I had to fetch towels

James Trunkenbolz

Lied to my face Asst Manager, Manager, Night Auditor

Called the cops on us for citing their own policy to them about late checkoutAs Titanium Elite members, we were GUARANTEED a 4 pm checkout They started knocking on the door at 11am THEN THE VACUUMING THE HALLWAY FOR TWENTY MINUTES ONLY IN FRONT OF OUR DOOR then the leaf blower right outside our window only This happened Not at all what I come to expect from a Marriott brand hotel

I stayed with my husband and kids for 4 days Walking in to the lobby everything looked nice although the front desk lady was not very inviting Going up to the room the toilet was not cleaned, everything was dusty

Badly folded towels and beat up walls The tub could also use a good clean After the issue with the bathroom the front desk lady was helpful and went up to clean and sanitize She then had to go back to check the tv I tried and she tried and couldn’t get it to work It was fixed by the next day The pool area was not very clean the water specially We found a frog inside the pool and another about to get in They were very small and a housekeeper took it out We slept good The comforter was very lumpy and old, nice cotton sheets though It wasn’t to loud and the ac kept the room nice and cool Breakfast was a plus Good variety and delicious!

Appearance and esthetics are great! The location is key and easy access right off the freeway with plenty of fast food locations near by, A large grocery store is very close as well Rooms were fairly clean although there seams to be no insulation from room to room If your looking for a location for deep sleep and peace I would try a different location

Weather its kids running in the hallways with no way to block the noise or its fellow renters in the rooms next door/ up stairs with loud moaning / snoring

TheDaniel

Had a night’s stop here during a surfing trip and really enjoyed it I used to think badly of La Quintas before, but after giving them a try, I realized they’re pretty good This one is newly remodeled and indeed looks modern

Rooms are clean, the breakfast area/lobby is really nice looking, they’ve got free breakfast and all that Amenities are great However the furniture was slightly damaged My only real complaint though is that the dog policy is weird Many chose this hotel because it allows dogs, and even though our German Shepherd was allowed to enter, others could not They have a full list of “banned” dog breeds even though it is not specified anywhere on hotel booking websites I am sure many people read the “dog friendly” claim but then got kicked from the hotel because they didn’t allow their dog Pretty sure that Dobermans, Rottweilers, certain Bulldogs, and Wolfdogs aren’t allowed Also make sure your dog is 70lbs or under It feels like discrimination I would give five stars if they change the dog policy

Stayed in a family suite this weekend and it was nice 2 queen beds in one room and 1 king bed in another The room with the king sized bed had its own restroom

The only complaint is we had the room next to the laundry room so early in the morning my mother-in-law got woken up by the laundry going We all shared one shower(not horrible but a second shower would have been nice) Lots of parking in the area we stayed inSunday morning my son was able to feed the huge koi fish so a huge shout out the hotel employee that invited my son to feed the fish

Members get one free night on a future stay for every two nights they book! Idk if this is ongoing or for the summer, but it’s great I’ve been traveling to this area quite a bit in the last two years to visit family and this hotel is down the street from our family members home And they allow pets for only $20!On my last stay, the room was dusty and there were some cobwebs on the lamp going to the ceiling

The spider was on the ceiling over the bed I don’t do spiders so, I stood on the bed to be able to reach it when I noticed the ceiling fan was dustyWhile this visit may have rated two stars, I’m giving four stars because I’ve stayed here before and there were no issues The staff are friendly and they have coffee all day and a continental breakfast Coffees good, but I can’t comment on the breakfast because I haven’t tried it

We stayed 2 separate evenings a week apart, the reason for choosing this facility was due to the pool and proximity to 1011 Facility was pretty clean (Other than a few full time residents spots not kept up)

2 Great 101 access and to some stores3 In my estimation I would say this park has about 90% full time residents (No biggie) unless some of those residents dont keep their spot somewhat clean and tidy I walked around the park and its mixed bag of very well kept spots and then some that looked like they just didn’t care)4 Staff were very nice when making the reservation and even when I called to ask about the pool closure (I cant speak about the Manager as I did not have direct communication with them)5 Pool was not open (This was a major factor in deciding to stop here) I called the office after out stay, after a discussion with the staff I was told the pool was closed due to maintenance that was being done ahead of schedule) I would not have booked or stayed if I knew the pool was closed (Which I was not informed of) I asked if there could be any type of compensation but the Manager stated no I know this seems like a small issue, however I specifically asked about the pool and was never informed it was going to be closed or scheduled for maintenance I do understand things happen, but communication could have helped resolve this, unfortunately, I was never advised either by email or phone I would have cancelled if I was informed We will not stay at this location again due to this issue and how it was handled

We stayed here because it was close to our family that lived in the area The park itself was fine as far as location and area services available However, it is very expensive, $430 a week, which is why we cut our visit short by a week

There is nothing special about this place which would warrant the cost It looks just like many other parks and had the same accumulation of trash on the ground around the garbage

Terrible Wifi Pool is drained, sites are crampedI’ve been trying to work online tonight and I’m literally twenty feet from the office with stellar WiFi connectivity, but I get kicked off every five minutes

So here I am on my phone writing this instead of working on my laptopI booked this place because of the “sparkling pool” (as stated in their list of amenities on their website), but arrive to find this isn’t the case It’s been drained and now I have disappointed kids who thought we’d be swimming this weekendI’m tired of paying prime rates for subpar service If the amenities aren’t functioning, then please tell me before I book or before I arriveI didn’t realize that at every RV park in California on my trip (over 15 this year so far for me) that I actually have to ask if the WiFi works or if the pools can be used When did this become a thing?
