Very informative guy checked us in Told us everything we needed to know regarding times, locations, etc We had a great room looking out over the Rogue

It was 100* when we checked in at 2030 A nice long float in the outdoor pool was just the ticket to cool us off The bed was very comfortable The coffee pods provided were very good We drank our coffee sitting out on the deck in the morning We opted to have their breakfast the next morning and it was very good Nice variety The ladies taking care of the breakfast layout were very friendly I would definitely stay there again In fact, we decided to extend our stay in Grants Pass by another day and by the time we figured it out, unfortunately, there were no rooms left Dang! We will try on another visitThanks so much to The Lodge at Riverside

We really enjoyed our stay here The staff was so friendly, they gave us a tour of the property before we decided to book the room The room was very spacious, the beds were comfortable, we got a room with a balcony facing the river which was nice

The pool was great Breakfast was wonderful and it was an all-around great stay I would definitely stay here again when visiting Grants Pass

The hotel itself looked maintained and decently modern The room looked updated, had nice furniture, and the beds were maybe a bit better than average The room was pretty clean, but could use some spot cleaning and more thorough cleaning

The bed sheets had some stains on them and I found a piece of old watermelon behind one of the chairs There were also some crumbs on the carpet and bed sheets, and the bathroom had some splatter marks on the walls The bathroom also seemed to not have been updated; it had old showers, tiles, and walls The price was good for the stay, but the room could have been cleaner

Kelly Kiser

This place looked freshly remodeled It was very modern and clean There was no breakfast, or pool yet as it seemed they were still finishing the details but there are multiple restaurants nearby

They also have a partnership with agym that is close The gym is amazing with a place for kids to play while parents work out or swim We actually played in the play area with our kids but wished there was something like this where we lived

Phavana Chang

Check in and check out was easy Every hotel has a deposit (most of the time $100) this one has it for $50, not sure what the complaints of having a deposit is for ALL hotels ask for ID and credit card for Check in

There doesn’t seem to be a elevator here, so if you need wheelchair accessible room, you should let them know during bookingRooms DO NOT have a microwave which was a bit of a bummer, but our room did have a mini fridge I believe the microwave is in the lobbyThe hallways smelled like weed, not completely hotel’s fault, more like guestsWe had really soft fluffy white towels to use

Great place to stay and kayak on Lake Selmac New ownership with ties to the past really make this a nice and comfortable place to stay Bathroom facilities were clean and tidy with two toilet stalls on one side and two shower stalls on the other

Around 25-30 sites all with at least partial hookup, water, electricity Directly across from the lake

FA Hart

We visited friends who were staying here The park is well laid out and beautiful The spaces are spacious with tables and fire pits in the spaces I saw

Residents have a code to the locked bathrooms so they stay clean The only knock is the road can be rough for low clearance vehiclesPS The tree pictured was at the park It fell over but has continued to live supported by its neighbors

Rebecca Monroe

The resort here at lake selmac is so awesome it’s like going back in time I stopped in there to get change and bought a bottle of soda and they were so kind to me their store is so clean and their resort is so nice and it’s right by the lake it’s a beautiful view it’s one of my places I stop when I come from grants Pass to visit my friend who lives in that area thank you again for your wonderful hospitality and your great customer service

We’ve stayed at a lot of La Quinta Inns across the US This is one of the really good ones Our room was very clean and updated

It had firm beds and pillows, updated carpet and tiled bathroom, and plenty of room even with two queen beds It also had a microwave, fridge, and handy plugs on the nightstands for phone charging The front desk service was fine The breakfast had plenty of continental breakfast options as well as hot eggs and bacon And they even had cookies out at night! Since this hotel is an ideal one day driving distance from our house, we will definitely be using it as a first night stop as we vacation

Andrea Schmitz

We like staying at La Quintas – they are all usually pretty good quality for the price in good locations This one was on par with those experiences We had a great room – it was clean – staff was friendly – no complaints at all

We had a nice view of the mountains and were right by the freeway There is good shopping not far if you need anything as well It was a good stop on our way to the Portland area

Kirk Kriskovich

This is a GOOD hotel, in a good location by the freeway and other amenities They always had fresh cookies Nice pool

Not as updated as other LA Quintas, but their front desk people ROCKED IT One woman in particular very patiently attended to 2 phone calls while handling a line of people checking in All very professional and patient

We had an excellent experience at Morrison’s ! The highlight of our trip was rafting and kayaking down the Rogue That experience created lifelong memories for our family The scenery was spectacular and being on the river was refreshing

Our guide, Nick, was knowledgeable and made the trip both enjoyable and interesting At the lodge, our meals were delicious We stayed in cabins 10 & 11 and had plenty of room for 4 people I was really happy there was good A/C and the bed was comfortable so we had a good night sleep The staff went above and beyond to provide excellent service throughout our trip I’d love to do another trip again next year

Jonathan Mastin

The 3-day rafting adventure with Lodge-stays exceeded my expectations First though, about the Rogue: most rivers (at least here in the Pacific Northwest) run at a really high level with lots of water in early summer, and a really low level with not quite enough water in late summer, which makes organizing a rafting trip a real challenge trying to predict when the river will be at an ideal level to run, but the Rogue is dam-released and is managed to stay at a fairly consistent level throughout summer – all but guaranteeing a perfect class 3+ experience Secondly, Morrisons did a fantastic job of organizing the trip: the Lodge stays were *really* fun, and I was not expecting at all, and an actual highlight of the trip

The guides were great, they took a lot of care in the work, not just helping us down the river but providing an entertaining really enjoyable experience as well They took us to several spots on the river that I didn’t see in guidebooks (and that I am SO glad we got to visit) The food was great, everything went smoothly with the trip, and overall it was just a fantastic experience I’m going to recommend it to everyone On our trip there were people of all ages – younger kids, teens, 20s, on up to folks with grandkids themselves – and we all had an absolute blast A+!

These are special people and an unforgettable place As others have commented, it’s such a peaceful place The grounds and the stroll to the river are unforgettable

The cabins are spotless and well appointed And anything you could need, you just ask, and they will graciously provide it Carol and Rick are the most welcoming and memorable hosts With so many stories and adventures to share, you will learn about this area’s history and its tales Not enough stars to rate this place!

Ashley Richardson

We just finished our family vacation, we rented the Meadow View cabin and Summer house The summer house is so cozy, has a great outdoor yard and plenty of space The Meadow house was very large, had plenty of bathrooms and the most comfortable beds

I don’t think I’ve ever slept that good on vacation Everything is very well taken care of, there is plenty of privacy, and it’s so peaceful We spent most of our time playing games on the huge outdoor patio and relaxing on the porch watching the deer in the huge yard The only downsides were the heat and the walk to the river is a little far But other than that the owners try to make it the best vacation they can, by providing everything you could need Not only is there a lot to do around the cabins, but hiking, boating, river tours and many more activities are a close drive away All members of our family, including the furry ones had a great time!

M Anderson

They canceled our long standing reservations to accommodate “preferred” guests Thought this place had integrity based on the reviews and our friends recommendation that we stay there with them Funny thing is the owners didn’t know one of our friends is one of those “preferred” guests and will (would) be staying there but Is now canceling and will leave similar reviews

I guess they only care about money Still haven’t received a refund and plan on suing

Nice hotel overall Very comfortable bed Breakfast was ok

Bacon was good but variety is a bit limited No hash browns or anything made from potatoes if I remember correctlyThe gym was nice Good size and it has a versatile machine that can help you exercise a lot of different muscles which is somewhat rare for hotels in this classOne downside, if you are traveling with pets, is that the pet fee is $75 which is a lot more than similar hotels

Adam Wunsch

Very clean rooms! Had a great stay for one night The staff was extremely friendly and even the housekeeping staff were engaged and interactive They took extra special care of our dog as well

Breakfast was better than the average hotel I highly recommend this place!

Sarah W

The rooms were clean, beautiful and updated One of my favorite things was the deep tub in regular queen bedroom This hotel doesn’t have a hot tub but the bathtub more than made up for that

They have an indoor heated pool but it wasn’t warm enough for us to want to swim in However, this hotel had the best breakfast of any hotel I have been to with ton of options There was ham and cheese omelets, scrambled eggs, mini Belgian waffles with multiple toppings from syrups to berries and chocolate chips, oatmeal, cold cereal, toast, muffins, bagels, biscuits and gravy, bacon, yogurt, coffee, juice & milk and it was all self serve

Great hotel!! I was hesitant because it is described as a 2 star hotel After spending 5 nights here I think of it as a 4 star hotel The room was so comfortable, the beds were great, the view was fantastic

It was so nice to have balcony to sit out enjoy coffee and river I love that the pet friendly rooms had vinyl flooring instead of carpet The free breakfast is the standard type, powder eggs, waffle, sausage, gravy and biscuits They serve coffee from local brewing company Rogue, which I appreciate they are supporting other local businesses They have free coffee, tea and water all day At night they have free popcorn They have a few wines and cheese for sale too Best of all was their customer service, from the maids to the front desk everyone had a smile and desire to help and interest to make our stay a good one Love this hotel so much! Will definitely be staying here again

Matt Downing

There are not many places that I would rate 5 stars, but this one earned it The property was well kept and the room, though relatively basic, was clean, nice and comfortable We had a room with a nice balcony that overlooked the Rogue River, which was very relaxing to sit outside and relax, even in February

They offered a complimentary hot breakfast that was actually good, and they use a good local coffee The staff made all the difference They were super friendly and helpful, including recommending a wine package they offered and taking custody of our luggage while we were out, since the airline misplaced it Not that we had any crazy requests, but I don’t think anyone on the staff knows the word “no” All for what I would consider a pretty reasonable price Plus this hotel is in a really convenient location and easy to get in and out of I would stay here again anytime

Loralie G

This is an adorable hotel It’s clean, it’s right on the rogue river which makes for peaceful time on the balcony The pool area is great for kids

and adults The complimentary breakfast is not just a bagel and coffee but a full breakfast and it’s delicious Most importantly the coffee is always flowing and fresh What i like most though is the staff is always friendly There’s usually 1 that can ruin a good review but there wasn’t even that We had taken 2 pillows from the room so one of the kids could lay down in the car because she didn’t feel good The pillows along with some other things got stolen When i told the manager what happened she was very nice about it and said she’d have to charge 1800 for the pillows i thought that was very fair but i ended up not getting charged at all My daughter lives in Grants Pass and i will only stay at this hotel because i know what to expect Well done Riverside Inn you run an exceptional business and its appreciated

This is like the best home away from home ever! Cottage/cabin feel with pristine landscaping and a beautiful pool and garden area to enjoy Susan is fantastic and is so kind, not only to my family but all of the guests I saw her interact with Works for one night but perfect for a longer stay when you can actually have time to enjoy the location! Looking forward to returning soon:)

Michael Stringfellow

Room was clean for the most part The facility is pet friendly and has a large dog yard If you choose to stay for a week you get no room service or fresh linens

The room was cute but a bit dated Some of the plugs were so old that the device plugged in would keep falling out of the wall Room has a kitchenette which was quiet handy The bathroom was large and stocked with plenty of those mini soaps and shampoos, My only complaint would be that the hot water seems to be shared between the units and room 2 did NOT have priority water so cold showers we not uncommon All things considered I would stay here again if I had a bit more freedom to invite my friends/family over to eat dinner or spend time inside
