My husband, my dog, and myself stayed here for 3 days/2 nights Although we did not utilize the pool it looked clean and smelled like the ocean The elevators did not smell bad like in most places, the hallways were very clean

The room was immaculate well stocked, and in great condition The bed was the bed was a little on the harder side but that is just a matter of my preference The hotel staff was friendly and helpful, the restaurant was clean The exterior was clean We had no issues with any of the staff while we were there Our dog felt welcomed and comfortable All-in-all a wonderful experience and I would definitely visit again

Horrible! Writing a very honest review to warn people of the state of this hotel When booking I did not get an accurate feel of how bad things are here or I would’ve made sure to avoid this hotel I was very close to leaving and finding better accommodations which is a 1st and I have stayed at various star hotels

Pro- Excellent locationCons- Cleanliness, amenities, air quality on some floors, but 1st and foremost Cleanliness! Our 1st room was so dirty that it seemed like all they did was change the sheets The floors were sticky and nothing was cleaned They did not supply enough towels for our 4 guests and when asked we never received any new ones Thankfully my children were visiting with family at another hotel for a couple of days so we didn’t have to keep begging for common items For this price they should be ashamed to even welcome guests into this place Of course there is a shortage of staff (everywhere) but if you cannot even clean the rooms properly they should limit guests to the staff available Our 2nd room was at least acceptable enough for us to finish off our stay without leaving We considered the pool when booking but would not dare step foot in there The water did not look clean and there was a sock that I’m sure will still be there once we check outThe icing on the cake was housekeeping knocking on the door at 9am on checkout day For this price please book somewhere else unless the location is all you are worried about

Chrisopigi Maggiorou

It was very good when I was there 7 years ago This year I went again, I believe it is very expensive for what they giveThe food it was good

Many closed area at the inside garden area, it was open only the bar area Very good tips the security at the parking lot at night time Very good the girl with the long black hair at the bar at night shift

Awesome! We were there for a concert, and the location was great This is a spotless hotel, and all of the hotel staff were friendly, smiling and professional Thank you to the tall young man who did the check in on 7/1 at 5 pm – very polite, efficient and welcoming

The room was clean, modern, fresh smelling, had a microwave and mini-fridge, and a nice lobby with tables downstairs Also had a breakfast with a wide assortment of nice breakfast foods Very happy

Keith Vincent

First major road trip in a long time and this was both a pleasant and unpleasant surprise They are clearly undergoing staffing shortages and weirdly blamed it on the delta wave of COVID, which was over almost 8 months ago So, now housekeeping service while I was there, which would be fine if I didn’t find two different pairs of socks located around the room

The good stuff; the place is new and is therefore clean with newer features (large TV or new age carpet), the gym had enough treadmills and weights for working out, and the breakfast bar was typical free breakfast bar food

Robert Terry

New Only 1 year old Very clean

But like all Marriott’s – saving money by cutting housekeeping, don’t service your roomAlso only pre-prepared foods for breakfast (again saving cost and reducing staff, but can’t blame local hotel for corporate rules)But if you want to stay at Marriott this is an overall good hotel Very friendly and helpful front desk team Can’t wait for them to get back to full service

I enjoy my stays at Homewood Suites It is usually very clean and I appreciate the effort they put into maintaining a good, clean friendly atmosphere The last times I stayed, there were noticeable stains on a few doors and door frames

I understand it though there is a lot of a certain staff is allotted certain time frames to clean_reminders to check behind themselves Also, there should be more focused monitoring of breakfast guests who don’t put on the supplied plastic gloves and keep masks on, as asked to do while gathering breakfast items The areas are clean, staff friendly and service is great!

Homewood Suites in Concord is top notch! From the reception staff to housekeepingMy travel partner and I stayed here literally every other week, a week at a time each time We were never unimpressed

From check-in, the sweet reception staff are 5-stars in themselves <3 and always make it a breeze! Making our way up to our room and every time checking out the room before getting comfy (I’m an avid mattress-flipper) and this is the one and only hotel I’ve stayed in that consistently has stain-free mattresses We’ve probably stayed in at least 20 different rooms in this hotel and NEVER seen a stain, dirt, bugs, etc Every inch of the rooms are sparkling clean, never a fingerprint or dust anywhere Shoutout to housekeeping for that! In the mornings there is a wonderful breakfast (my favs are the western omelette, hash browns with peppers/onions) and of course the waffle maker when having a sweet tooth The linens are soft, pillows are top notch, and rooms are spacious Every time I come in those front doors I want to holler “Honey, I’m home!” The location of the hotel is close to a bunch of food/shopping establishments as well, and of course the speedway so that’s a plus!Shoutout to Amanda, Lindsey, and Tash for always being so welcoming and making Homewood Suites a home-away-from-home! You guys are the best!

Mercedez Allen

LITERALLY one of my FAVORITE hotels I’ve ever stayed at It’s up there with the Four Seasons! The suite was beautiful and I’m picky so trust me you will love it ! Everything in the room was spotless and well taken care of The hotel looks brand new and smells fresh! I was truly at home during my stay

I checked in with Ruthie she was so sweet and welcoming and I checked out with Gen and she was so polite and nice with me and other hotel guest! She asked me how my stay was and I could tell she genuinely cared! I love this hotel! This will be my hotel I stay at anytime I’m in Charlotte/Concord area!

We were only at the Omni for one night and spent a short time in the room All of the staff we interacted with were welcoming and helpful The room was well-appointed and clean

The beds were comfortable The bathroom was beautiful The coin-based art is a nice touch I would love to be able to stay longer to enjoy the amenities and dining optionsI loved the city view from our room It would have been a short walk to the Spectrum Center

Rhino Plumber

The over all experience really The hotel was very noisy and from the walls not sounding insulates and hearing every word people said in the hall and other rooms to every door slam Not counting the pool bar I think maybe the music was coming from most the night

There was a man on the street corner beating a drum for money and you could hear him as if he was in the room with youOnline it did not say the restaurant was closed You have to order at the bar and sit and wait If you need another drink go back to the bar The meal I asked for came wrong and it was not worth getting a new one This was upsetting as we picked this place fore the upscale environment and restaurant Our room view sucked as we looked at the reflection of a next door building I booked way in advance and asked for a high floor with a view The phone in the room didn’t work had to use it on speaker The shower head didn’t work fully and was a weak shower The valet service was nice and the people were great In the end we needed an extra night to finish the convention but debated finding another place to stay With all the gear we had to haul it was not worth moving it and stayed an extra night

Douglas Baldwin

All in all, not a bad hotel The rooms are interestingly shaped due to the interesting shape of the hotel itself Our room looked like it had not be completely cleaned up when we arrived, so someone came up and cleaned it for us (which was much appreciated)

Parking was $45 for the night I think that is the most I have ever paid for parking, so be aware There is no complimentary breakfast, but there are many places to eat around the hotel

So tonight is our wedding night We were excited to come here after our great wedding We got here and we were supposed to have chilled champagne that our family gave us which was just sitting in the box warm not on ice (also no champagne glasses)

There was no chocolate that was also ordered and supposed to be in the room when we got here and we found out that they gave it away to another guest before we got here The chef was gone so we ended up with a tiny slice of cake We were also supposed to have two bath robes and we got here and there was only one I called the front desk and my mother in law also called them and no one would pick up the phone Finally after 6 minutes a lady answered and was rude about it This room was super expensive and we just wanted a good night We will make the best of it but this place is not worth the money we paid The holiday inn would have done a better job honestly Don’t book here You will be disappointed also to top it all off, they charge you $5 for water

Alison Tribble

This was one of the most excellent hotel experiences I’ve ever had and we have been to several luxury hotels The entire staff, from valet to housekeeping and in between, was beyond kind and helpful and seemed like they genuinely wanted us to have the best experience possible Lindsay at the front desk is AMAZING!!! She’s your girl if you need help with anything! The ambiance of the rooftop bar is incredible and the drinks and food there and Mico were delicious! Everything was run like a well oiled machine, we will be staying here again!!

Eric Simpson

Had an amazing stay at the grand bohemian! Didn’t quite know what to expect with it being my first time in a Grand Bohemian hotel but if they all are remotely close to this, I’ve found a new favorite! From the moment I walked through the door I was greeted by the smiling faces of Lauren and Lindsay! I’m not sure when these girls sleep because every interaction I had was with one of the two! From checking in, to asking about the local area, ordering room service, and requesting items to the room, I got to know these ladies very well because they did it all! Unfortunately neither were present as I checked out but I wanted to tell them how much of a positive impact they made on my stay!

My wife and I stayed only for one Saturday night for her birthday I contacted David the general manager to see if we could check in early, the response was instantaneous When we pulled up to the hotel the 2 valets were so gracious in the cold and were very helpful with our luggage

Brandon was at the desk to knock our socks off with his hospitality and knowledge, he spoke to us like old friends The room was immaculate when we arrived, we met a dozen housekeepers during our stay, every one of them were moving fast and very friendly The rooftop bar was well stocked and would be worth the stay in warmer condition The bar in the lobby is a well stocked craft bar with very knowledgeable bartenders, who will creat the best drink in Charlotte We had dinner in Dean’s steakhouse on the first floor Saturday night The staff in the restaurant is second to none, the food was magnificent and delivered at the speed of light There is so much more that I would love to tell about this hotel and a great location but you will have to spend the night yourself I would like to thank the staff, as this is the best night I have spent away from home in many years

Casey Dalal

Had a great one night stay here This is a new modern property with great onsite dining and bar options Titanium benefits were honored as expected and I was upgraded to a nice corner suite

Great check in experience with friendly and welcoming staffLocation is good and within walking distance of most of the downtown area Valet parking through the hotel is available however there is also a self-park garage adjacent to the hotel I would certainly return to this property the next time I’m in the Charlotte area

Yamica D.

This place is amazing!!! Stayed here for a work conference and was met with exceptional customer service of the valet staff, bellmen, & front desk The lobby was clean and smelled soo good! The only disappointment was upon entering the room the bed wasn’t made completely and there were crumbs in certain areas in the room All in all I had a fantastic stay! The rooftop bar is a must see – it really captures the beauty of uptown Charlotte

I also want to make a note of the front desk staff Kendall who was always so pleasant and always made herself available to me which I found comforting Definitely plan on staying here again 🙂

It’s a hotel so for the most part everything is as expected However, Amanda! Most hotels are pretty generic and meet the bare minimum The exception to this is when they manage to hire someone amazing! Change is needed to use the laundry machine and I couldn’t find change anywhere

The person up front didn’t have change but Amanda came by to help She called 4 different people and managed to get me 4 dollars of quarters so I could do laundryI came down on several different times and every time I asked her something she tested me as if I was the moody important guest at the hotel and I witnessed her treat others the same exact wayThe amenities don’t set this hotel apart from others The rooms don’t set this hotel apart from others It’s people like Amanda that go so far and beyond to treat their guests like they are the most important people in the hotel that set this place so far above all other hotels

Kim Z

The stay was fair I travel a lot and this is one of the over ranged hotels I stayed in I thought Marriott would would have better services

No microwaves in the rooms and no continental breakfast The bed comfy was fair The housekeeping services were awful The towels were dirty and the sheets were not the best Dirt was on the floors I should stay at the Super 8 for this kind of services I should have changed the room or just went to a different hotel I was tired from traveling I paid too much for these lack of services I stayed at a lot better places for less money ! From the outside it’s looks great !! OUTDATED !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LAST TIME EVER staying here when I come back to town !!

Steve L

I have NEVER had such a bad experience with staff at a hotel! I stayed at this hotel on the night of 4/2/2022 after a missed airline connection Because it was the fault of the airline, they gave me a voucher to stay at this hotel and after a LONG day of travel fatigue and standing in lines with other passengers, I dropped in to bed exhausted at midnight Slept in the next am, did my meditation and yoga, then caught a taxi to the airport for a rescheduled flight home

Arrived home and noticed a few days later that there was a $500 charge to my credit card I called the hotel to inquire and the man at the front desk (wish I would have gotten his name!!) rudely informed me that I had violated the non-smoking policy and referred to the form I signed when I checked in He said that because I was smoking in the room, they had charged my account I told him that I do not smoke, never have and that this was ABSOLUTELY not the case!! Still, he insisted that I had smoked in the room and said that “staff” had smelled the smoke! I was incredulous at his insistence and his accusatory stance!! I then inquired of him about their “policy” and asked how it is that I was never even informed of this accusation, but rather there was simply a charge to my credit card NEVER did he back down, apologize, or concede that, at a MINIMUM, a customer should be informed if there was an accusation made against him/her!!! There was NO WAY I was going to allow this mistreatment and I told him so I was prepared to speak with an attorney if it came to that I was so angry at this man’s utter lack of respect for a customer! Ultimately, he agreed (VERY reluctantly!!) to credit the $500 back to my card but not once did he apologize nor back down on his insistence that I had been smoking and that the hotel had a “right” to charge me without even so much as a notification!! AND, another aside– the hair dryer in the room did not work, the bathroom was not as clean as I would have expected and there was no lotion made available as one might expect I don’t usually leave reviews and I certainly wouldn’t have to make an issue about the state of the room itself but I am appalled by the way I was treated I would like to believe that not all their staff is this rude and with such poor customer service acumen and/but I will NEVER choose to stay at a Courtyard by Marriot again!!

Tamara Whatley

I really enjoyed my stay From the greeting at the front desk to the beautiful hotel The room was nice and clean

We went to bar and lounge on the second floor for drinks the drink were good, the only thing is they stop serving food early in the day It would have been nice to At least be able to get some wings or something I would stay again We also had breakfast on the second floor food decent but a little pricey for breakfast

KiMya Alston

The hotel overall was great Front desk was nice during check-in and check-out Very informative when needed

We stayed during Valentine’s Day weekend and was told it was sold out but you wouldn’t have known because it was quiet all night Parking was available in garage not too far away but tight fit We ended up parking on the street since it was closer Only thing I wasn’t a fan of is that the bathroom wasn’t completely private in the room

Great place to stay Ideal location for shopping, eating out and other local places to go Staff very helpful and friendly

Mallen Alley

Nice newer, clean and accommodating staff Couple of things that really stink No servicing of the rooms, I know that makes me really early 2019 to expect my room to be serviced

But it is one of the things that makes, made, staying in a hotel something less than mundane Pillows, good grief, somewhere along the way it was decided to toss many awful pillows on the bed instead of a couple nice ones Head sinks through them in seconds Breakfast is for sale here, yeah, the more you pay for the room, the less chance you seem to have of a decent included breakfast Hot water in the morning, evening shower is fine, nice hot water, get up early and the same bean counter in charge of room care has decided to turn the water heater off until maybe 8am Ya know, I have to get up early, and a hot shower really makes a difference, especially when your neck is hurting from sleeping without any head supportI mean none of these matters too much, in a $70 a night hotel, but for something around 3 times that much you might expect a bit more

Edy AT

Initially this trip was as expected Later that evening the heat went out in our room and the hotel was booked at 100% capacity The staff here went above and beyond to make sure that everything that we would need to make it through one night was accessible and staff was on call the manager had our unit checked by maintenance and then moved me from a junior suite to a full suite for the next day because the unit in our room could not be fixed

The one night of inconvenience was severely discounted, point where added to my account I appreciate it the staff of this hotel keeping us informed of everything being done even when we were no longer at the hotel I would get text messages and phone calls to keep us abreast of the room status I was in town to Celebrate a family birthday

Hope we can stay again some day

Love this hotel! From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with friendly smiles and overall courtesy The hotel itself is in a really nice location Everything about the hotel was clean as well, which is a big factor for me while booking a place to stay

After spending a day in the summer sun, it was nice to come back to complementary beer, wine, and refreshments The rooftop bar was perfect for a nightcap before heading to bed I would definitely stay at this hotel again the next time I go to Charlotte!

The room is very nice, especially the bathroom A minibar is advertised, but there isn’t one in the room The front desk directs you to the bar or some snacks in the lobby

They only have ice machines on every other floor Coffee bar downstairs is very minimal and not very hot, with no oat or almond milk The toilet paper is scratchy In our room, one towel and the duvet were stained The streaming TV service was choppy while trying to watch a movie The location is great, except for the loud cars racing up and down the street all night Valet is $40/day but very attentive and helpful

So the hotel is well appointed and service was EXTREMELY PERSONABLE The rooms were clean’ish, decorated neatly and spacious Now the bathrooms were out of line

The shower rod kept falling My tub had a very slow drain (disgusting) The shower liner/curtain seemed a little gross I also questioned the cleanliness after seeing a blond hair on the bathroom wall Shower was TINY I always felt safe There was always someone within hearing range to help you out Valet is $40 but they are fast, efficient, and you have come and go privileges

Had a great time celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday! Clean and beautiful room, a welcome treat, and the staff and housekeeping were on top of everything! Breakfast with in room dining was tasty and so hearty They gave us so much food I could barely finish!

We recently completed a beautiful wedding at The Ritz Carlton’s Urban Garden As a wedding planner, my experience with Kim, Lesa, and the entire staff was incredibly welcoming, caring, thoughtful, and thorough From the moment I met the team some time ago, to the moment we were on property conducting the rehearsal and the wedding, the team was prompt in addressing any detail and continually touched based with myself and my team to ensure the couple was happy and the wedding ceremony and reception proceeded flawlessly

The team did not miss a beat with staying on course with the wedding day timeline and the guests continuously told us how pleased they were with all the details and accommodations Our heartfelt gratitude goes out to The Ritz Carlton staff – thank you for everything you do to make wedding days feel so special!

Was super impressed by this hotel and pleasantly surprised by the area We were stopping overnight on a drive to Florida with our two dogs The rooms were a great size, very comfortable

Staff was mostly friendly although a little sparse at times especially at the breakfast bar in the AM The surrounding area is very quaint and I kind of wish we got to explore more! We went to a Hornets game and it was a great proximity to the heart of the city Can’t beat the free parking on premises plus there were nice places to walk the dogs, just nowhere they could really run off leash within walking distance Overall, would definitely stay again!

JOHN

Arrived on Friday, parking was easy space at AC is limited but the Marriott also has a huge parking area

the front desk staff, gracious and accommodating Like all AC’s clean simple contemporary room was clean, contemporary and comfortable a mini-fridge (To the idiots who give a 1 or 2 star review because there is no microwave? really?? It is NOT a requirement in a non- resort/long stay hotel The amount of restaurants nearby because of South Park is Wonderful(The mall is 1 block) Cordial is very nice a place to drink cordials vs dinner breakfast not a huge selection but fresh the avocado toast was delicious

This place is beautiful but my room was not clean My son was already laying in the bed before I inspected the sheets Low and behold the top comforter was covered with make up and no telling what else

I was upset my child was exposed to someone else’s stay from the night before They did move me to another one room I checked in around 9pm so I waited to speak with the manager the next morning because I didn’t want to bother the lovely receptionist So called to ask for a complementary breakfast for my children and I to only be offered $10😳😬 voucher for my inconvenience in their dirty room Where is the or courtesy just some remorse for my family that had to pack up and go to another one Please just inspect your room first!

My family had a family reunion in the area and the Hilton was the host hotel I worked with the staff prior to arrival and the service was excellent from start to finish Shannon made sure that our experience was smooth and seamless

Several family members expressed their pleasure with the service of the hotel We had a family member who was vegan and had limited choices for the breakfast buffet I spoke with one of the employees and he, immediately resolved the situation to her liking Great customer service once again! My only suggestion is the need to update The lobby was quite warm the entire weekend The grounds could use some work and pressure washing, but that may take some time to coordinate I would still recommend choosing this hotel

Mrs. Ellis

Nice hotel, quiet rooms, lovely lake view I gave 4 stars because I wasn’t expecting everything at the hotel to be closed already when we arrived early Sunday afternoon We were disappointed because there was no advance notice of this and we had to leave back out for dinner

Seems small, but I had been driving for hours prior to check in and room service would have been appreciated, or at least notice posted on their website so I could grab something for the family prior to arrival

Elizabeth Partain

This was absolutely not worth the price I’ve paid half as much for rooms that were twice as nice When you stay in a Hilton, you expect something above average, and this barely hit average

The room looked like a hospital room, there were stains on the sheet and shower curtain, room service wasn’t available, and the vending machine didn’t even work Definitely not a good experience, and definitely won’t be staying again

For the price it was good accommodations The rooms were clean and had a good stock of pillows and towels Staff was friendly and there was always someone at the desk to assist

They had laundry on-site on the even numbered floors, pool and gym They did not have a free continental breakfast They had a smart TV and it allowed you to watch your own shows

Dan M

Residence Inn by Marriott combo big but still very nice 7 story hotel here for a week in August Clean and quiet but very busy post Covid Plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby and downtown only 15 minutes away

Unfortunately I did witness the after effects of a break-in out in the parking lot It can happen anywhere do don’t leave any valuables in plain sight

Hotel was clean, staff friendly, easy check in/out I appreciated that even though it is in a busy location, it was quiet in the hotel and quiet at night too Breakfast was good, but could’ve been better; my daughter got an egg that tasted rotten and the sausage looks/tastes like hamburger, is gritty, and was cold right out of what was supposed to be a stream server

I tried to get different pieces still cold They need to tell people when making a reservation, that they will hold additional money for a security deposit Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will stay again

Carli C.

We had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again if we found ourselves in the area The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, our room was clean and updated, and I felt they had a great complimentary breakfast selection We traveled with our daughter and they were able to provide a pack and play that looked practically brand new and I felt very safe having my child sleep in it

Renetta McEachern

Stayed for short weekend Easy check in and check out Great location, very close to Ikea, the University & the Outlet Mall

Rooms were clean Fairly quiet room, didn’t hear much outside noises Their were 3 light bulbs out in my room, two in the room & one in the bathroom We were able to get replacement bulbs pretty quickly I, however, did not like that the fan in the AC unit could not be kept at a constant “on” position and it was loud at night

We had room service from the hotels restaurant Fine and Ferrell The wage burgers were cooked to perfection Truffle fries to die for

LOVED this hotel and wish there were more Canopy chains around!!! The facility was extremely clean, well decorated, and had a very warm and inviting, cozy feel with the holiday decor/vibe I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of my stay with my boyfriend and our dog – from the convenience of check in/out, the layout of the hotel, the luxurious feel of the hotel (decor, room set up and bath amenities), convenience and ability to travel and stay with our dog, and the DELICIOUS food and drinks at the lobby restaurant – Fine & Fettle I had cocktails at night and enjoyed a WONDERFUL breakfast the following morning

Everything was fabulous!!! Thank you Canopy/Hilton!!!

Maiya Williams

Comfortable bed, clean room, nice bathroom I enjoyed the common areas, especially the outdoor seating Tried to enjoy the restaurant but they weren’t serving the dinner menu due to lack of kitchen staff

Was able to order for lunch & a personal pizza took over an hour, & it was disgusting The guy at the bar was really sweet & comped it, plus he made great drinks Valet was slow & unprofessional It also seemed unnecessary to have mandatory valet when there was an empty parking garage right outside the hotel where they had my car parked anyway I understand hotels being pet friendly but they really need to separate the floors I heard puppies crying & dogs barking all day & night If I could guarantee being on a floor free of pets I would definitely stay again I loved the room

My 5 stars are based on the cleanliness of the rooms and the stellar service! I arrived with a group to attend a nearby conference and chose to stay here Not only were the rooms personalized to our name, but the hotel housekeeper must’ve noticed my makeup and left out additional makeup wipes (such a small touch that meant a lot!) The bed was SO comfortable and it felt cozy, spacious and relaxing

The front desk was super helpful with check in! Big shout out to the team there!! The Starbucks was fresh and delicious Another worthy note is that the artwork throughout the hotel was created by the faculty and students of UNC!!! I thought that was super cool as well During my next stay in NC, I’m definitely coming back here!

First, the hotel is BEAUTIFUL there’s no denying that Our room was clean and presentable, and the view was great! It’s also close to MANY restaurants & stores so that’s a plus! The staff was friendly and VERY helpful down to the housekeepers Although we enjoyed our stay, I have a few things that I feel could have been better for the pricing of this hotel

there are NO microwaves anywhere in the building, not even the restaurant (or so I was told) That’s a major inconvenience to some, especially if you bring back leftovers from a restaurant Secondly, my party that arrived after us did not get to check into a room until around 6PM! I understand understaffed issues, but the wait after driving almost 3 hours wasn’t one they were prepared for Other than those small issues, the stay was great!

Adam Fitzgerald

Sam running the bar is one of the absolute best bartenders I’ve come across, not just in a hotel setting He cranks out enough work for four people Seriously on top of everything going on around him

Looking forward to another stay Will come back just for himAside from that, the property is nice Rooms are clean Staff is friendly Can’t wait until they get food back in the lounge

My wife & I took a day out of town & experience something new in Charlotte We stayed at the Embassy suites in Charlotte/Concord, & was lucky enough to get a front room with a view of a hole on the golf course, Camping World, Hendrick Chevrolet & Charlotte Motor Speedway baby! We visited downtown E Trade street, &Tryon also tried out a couple of Charlotte restaurants while enjoying the free Embassy Suites house drinks after calling it an evening

Had a refreshing shower that almost sent me to the emergency room That’s one slippery when wet bathtub in room 1012, but I caught myself We rested and relaxed, had a good nights sleep In the morning we both really enjoyed our made to order breakfast that came with the room M6 wife had two over easy eggs while I appreciated the skill of the chef, making a delicious bacon & ham with mushrooms, spinach and cheeseWe would love to come back one day & do this all over again

Sonya Fearrington

I went for a convention ; the service was decent considering they were full w/ convention goers & normal hotel guest When we arrived there were no baggage cartsWhen asked if there were additional or when the baggage carts wld be available

We were informed, if not downstairs other hotel guests had the cards; in turn we wld have to waitThat was a bit of a bummer, though we understood given the fullness of the hotel If you didn’t get extra items such as pillows or blankets when you first arrived There were none or minimal after check-in The complimentary breakfast was amazingThe staffing was a bit low, but I believe like w/ everyone it’s due to the pandemic The rooms were nice & clean I would definitely return to patronize them

E C

The front desk staff was exemplary, but we experienced issues with the Rocky Creek Grill and the reception hours Issues we experienced with Rocky Creek Grill were not answering the phone after 5pm and when we arrived at the restaurant, the lights were not on so it did not seem they were open The staff seemed lackadaisical

The impression was they did not want our business so we ate elsewhere As far as the reception, each night there was only one person working the bar area when there should probably have been at least two people, especially on a Friday and Saturday night Each person was overwhelmed but doing the best they could considering the volume of customers they were serving The breakfast was outstanding and the staff were very accommodating Overall this hotel definitely could use some renovations We will not consider staying here again
