We were greeted warmly by Debbie and Lela They were very helpful with answeringour questions and guiding us to local sites Every staff member acknowledged us pleasantly

The hotel has a wonderful workout room and indoor pool/hot tub It was extremely clean throughout and the outside grounds were well manicured and tidy Our room was large and very comfortable We enjoyed the special touch of chocolate scented air fresheners

Sean Truly

A great stay and experience; the pool was phenomenal and has an attached Hot Tub! My only complaints were that the Elevators did not feel entirely confident and secure, and that the Fast and the Furious Arcade machines in the arcade were down Guest Services was polite and to the point I plan on coming back during the summer with my girlfriend after enjoying it with my niece and sister!

Celia Rae Stever

We swam in the pool and after my friend asked me if my tattoo was raised and itchy because hers was The next morning I woke up and mine was also raised and itchy Either they had bed bugs or a mystery STD in the pool water, either way, gross

The sides of the pool were also very slimy The rooms were nasty The water in both the shower and the sinks got way too hot and burned me multiple times My friend’s door would not close completely or lock properly Anyone could have broken in with ease The elevators did not at all feel secure and one actually stopped on us in the middle of the ride and one of the workers said that it was pretty common If you plan on staying here, maybe consider another hotel Or bring bed bug spray Whatever floats your boat

I mean just the best Greeted upon entry, given water and cookies, lobby is warm and welcoming, beautifully designed, has a Starbucks, pool, gym, laundry

I didn’t want to leave! Our room was clean and I felt safe staying there, meaning it was sanitized properly Our room was a queen with a pull out couch which is so convenient Bed was comfortable and we had enough towels and toilet paper for the three days that we were there Recycling bin in the room is awesome! Also had a microwave and teeny fridge and I love the fact that I can watch Netflix on the television!

Was initially hesitant about staying here because of the reviews about cleanliness Got there, the room, and bath room were clean, modern and comfortable Didn’t have any problems with the cleanliness at all

The staff was very friendly, greeting everyone with a smile and friendly hotel The front desk was always managed, and the clerk made sure that we were happy with the stay Didn’t get to use many of the amenities, but it looked like a nice pool area, and courtyard with fire pit Had breakfast in the hotel one morning, prepared quickly The barista who made my drinks made sure that I was pleased with them They were good A little pricey on breakfast, but it’s to be expected in a resort hotelThe hotel was at the end of downtown Hershey, close to the attractions and easy to get in and out ofOnly downside was low water pressure in the shower And the shower / bathroom is quite large, so the bathroom didn’t get very warm

Someone

Stay here every year! Nice place as the staff is friendly and the rooms are clean The room was a bit chilly when we arrived but it warmed up fast Very sanitary, with staff actively cleaning almost everything in sight

The gym and pool are well built and fully stocked The market and bistro are both cheap Overall a 9/10 Coming back next year!

Clean, comfortable, accommodatingThe room looks like the photos, is completely cleaned, and had absolutely no problems with check in or the room The gentleman Logan at the check in desk was very polite and accommodating We were able to see the rooms prior to checking in and all questioned were answered promptly and fully

There’s a full breakfast in the morning and a pool The hotel appears to be clean and well maintained Great place to stay

Tori O

I stayed for one night (Sunday to Monday):Relatively new property The exterior is nice and well kept The interior lobby was also well kept and clean

The front desk agent, didn’t catch his name, was very friendly, quick and helpful The fitness room was nicer than most hotelsThe room was an overall B As a pet friendly hotel I expect some animal hair But the shower was completely filled with it And the bedding is tucked in a way that you don’t see the comforter However, when I untucked the top flat sheet there was a orange stain on the comforter The fan stayed on all night despite the setting on heatThe walls were very thin I could hear the conversations of the people next door as well as the running in the hallway above

Anastasia Paszkiewicz

This hotel was beautiful, clean and the staff was so friendly I’m not typically a guest at Best Western hotel customer – picked this one because of location – what a wonderful discovery Great location, complimentary breakfast, friendly staff, indoor pool! I would have thought I was staying at a Hampton Inn

Courtyard Inn and Suites Harrisburg Hershey is a very comfortable, inviting, and an amazing experience for all travelers!First off, the location could not be better! It’s only about a 15 minute drive from Hersheypark , and it’s located right on the eastern side of Harrisburg The hotel is surrounded by several restaurants and shops (Target is right across the street), so you’re never far from what you need!Next, the rooms and property is extremely clean and comfortable! The mattress was in great shape and was very pleasurable to sleep on, and so was the other furniture in the room Housekeeping here does a great job! Everything was super clean and well maintained in the room, and towels were plentiful

Amazing job!The amenities here are awesome! The pool was nicely maintained, and very enjoyable to use The fitness center was superb; also very well maintained and had some great equipment Also, the business center is without a doubt, a very nice addition to the property as wellHaving a market in the lobby was very convenient, and had a great variety of snacks And the bistro here is so good! Incredibly flavorful, nutrient rich food is served with impeccable serviceFinally, the service that this hotel offers is masterful! Everyone was warm and inviting, including the front desk employees who are very professional and friendly towards guests! They ran a seamless check in/check out and acknowledged every question and concern of mineI would definitely go back to Courtyard Inn and Suites Harrisburg Hershey, and in my opinion, there’s not a more comfortable, friendly, or convenient hotel in the area! Nice job, and keep up the great work! 🙂

Robert Hoelzer

All I can say is WOW! Never have I stayed in a hotel where the staff was absolutely amazing They went above and beyond for everyone Desmond and the other guy, I think his name was Kyle, where super friendly and helpful

All the ladies at the front desk, amazing and sweet! The only thing I would say that wasn’t the best was the pool which was very cold The food here was above expectations Dear Marriott, you should use this particular hotel as an example for the rest

Christina Godette

My stay was fine until the last night we stayed When Beth (the staff at the front desk) was VERY RUDE! There’s a way to speak to people and she had no filter, no remorse and very dismissive! In my opinion the only reason she spoke and behaved in such a manner was due to who we were and that’s unacceptable The managers of this location as well as corporate will be contacted as a result of this incident too

Alright let me begin by saying I have traveled a lot both for business as well as pleasure We come to Hershey every year for a convention that’s held in the Hershey Lodge We’ve stayed at multiple hotels throughout the many trips

After driving almost 5 hours I arrived at the hotel to be greeted by a very nice receptionist at the front desk after getting up to my room it was a moderate size room a king suite The room was nicely decorated and comfortable for 1 or 2 people The bed was amazingly soft and the pillows were like clouds The breakfast was different then I’ve had at other hotels yet it was nice everything was sealed in there own bags The grounds were well kept and there wasn’t garbage laying around The hotel was clean and everything looked like it had its place All in all I would probably stay here again

Sara Anderson

I went to Hershey Park as a family vacation and we last minute decided to stay an extra day so I had to call around for a room around 7 pm When I spoke to the lady at the front desk she quoted me $273 (which already was the most pricey hotel), as We needed a large enough room to accommodate 2 adults and 3 children Because of the availability and free breakfast As well as proximity to the park, I went ahead and booked it

The amenities looked decent and the breakfast looked like one of the better ones through pictures The breakfast was prepackaged egg sandwiches, plain oatmeal, yogurt, small cereal selection, toast and bagels, and two muffin selections The pictures are deceiving The breakfast was advertised as having waffle making machines with the fix-ins, multiple cereal types, fresh hot options like eggs and meats and whatnot (not everyone can eat bread or meat like on the only available 2 types of prepackaged sandwiches) , fresh food, pastries of all sorts, more than plain bagels and stale toast, no coffee! I had to go to the front desk just to have a cup of coffee! So onto the worst part…the last minute phone quote was $273 and I was charge $399 and another separate $6+ dollar unknown charge! We left the room with all of it’s contents and in excellent condition so there was no reason to charge me so much over The room was not going to be booked at that time of night so they were lucky we even paid for one of their rooms which they otherwise would have received $0 for The other suites in the area were at most $160 I was already crazy for booking the hotel at it’s phone quoted exorbitant price and then they practically double it This is the last time I book this hotel and, for that matter, use Marriott in the future!

Anitra D

Great stay! The staff was very friendly and accommodating The front desk staff was awesomeIt is also in a great location, close to Hershey Park and my family and I had a wonderful stay

We would definitely stay there again

We had the most amazing time staying at Hersheypark Camping Resort We stayed from Sunday to Friday and visited Hersheypark 2 of those days We stayed in the basic log cabin and it was perfect! It had a full size bed for my husband and I and two single beds for my daughter and my nephew with a dresser separating the two

It was just what we needed to unplug and relax The staff were friendly and very helpful The shuttle was a nice extra that saved us quite a bit in parking fees The one thing that stood out to us was how clean the bathroom/ shower houses were The cleaning staff were on it We saw them no less than every two hours stopping in to clean and check the restrooms The water pressure and hot water was to die for and felt amazing after a long day The kids loved the pool and the volleyball court I absolutely loved the creeks especially going down to where the two creeks met It was so peaceful and was a great place to relax and be one with nature for a bit The camp store had good coffee and just about anything you needed We loved our stay and can’t wait to come back and try the deluxe cabin or maybe even to use our tent

Cynthia Trowbridge

It was a great cabin It was clean and roomy There were four of us and we could easily have added two more comfortably

The bath houses were clean and well stocked Even the showers had good water pressure The pool was a comfortable temperature There were lots of activities for children If I had one suggestion it would be coffeemakers in the cabin That’s the only hotel like amenity I would have appreciated

Marie Q

I’ve stayed here twice so far, both times it was not busy, and both times in Carousel Circle area This is a pretty large campground with all different types of sites and different sized cabins There are a couple of playgrounds, the pools, basketball, sand volleyball, horseshoes, and of course the shuttle to Hersheypark

The staff is very friendly (I was walking around yesterday getting exercise and checking out the Pioneer Heights area which I hadn’t seen before, and an employee was cleaning the laundry up there and made a point to greet me and ask me how my stay was Like, no big deal or anything, but she could have just ignored me, I wouldn’t have thought she was rude or anything, she was working) There is a busy railroad track right next to the campground, which could be really cool if someone in your family is into trains It could be less cool if you weren’t aware and booked a site next to it and found the noise disturbing The trains don’t honk super close to the campground (you do hear honking though, there must be a crossing somewhere nearish) and I live near a train track so the noise doesn’t bother meThe only complaint I have is that at least some of the staff do not understand about driving RVs This is definitely not a problem unique to this campground, but both times they gave us the wrong directions to our site Both times we were in the block between Rd C and Rd D, and they told us to drive down C If you do that there are 2 problems 1, the site numbers are visible from Rd D, and 2, you have to back in, which isn’t really a problem, except it defeats the purpose of a pull-through I suggest you just look at the map, the sites are all angled, so you can tell which road you should go down But in case the campground reads this, I really suggest you get someone who actually drives a big rig to give the employees a little training, because it could cause accidents, especially with newer campers who don’t know better

This was a great getaway for my family The room was so well kept ( I usually bring my own supplies just in case, but they were never needed) The pool was quiet and my daughter enjoyed the time in there

Our room was also nice and quiet and spacious Breakfast had a great variety of food, which is always helpful since I have two picky eaters Noah, who checked us in was so kind and helpful to make sure we had everything we needed to be comfortable My daughter enjoys coming out to Hershey around her birthday so this is our new go to! Thank you for everything

Kristin Picco

I was apprehensive to stay here after reading the other reviews, but we decided to go for it We were very happy with our stay Our room was clean, beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of towels (many hotels now only give 2 towels per room which doesn’t work for a family)

The next morning we went down for breakfast at 8:30AM (which I highly recommend because after 9AM it started to get crowded) Breakfast consisted of muffins, english muffins, bagels, bread (toaster available), yogurt, bananas, apples, oatmeal, eggs, breakfast potatoes, bacon, make your own waffles, and 3 different kinds of cereal I would stay here again!

Giuseppe Sciulli

The Hilton Hampton Inn Suites near The Park was a great hotel stay for the price we paid Staff was and the manager there was super awesome Our room was clean and hotel had a indoor pool that our kids enjoyed, as the weather outside was super cold

Kids were even more excited when they found out they can make their own waffle for breakfast, with the waffle iron Regular breakfast food was just average All in all, this hotel was great and 4mins away from Hershey Park

Great place for pets and family, and down the road from the park!Their reservation service will price match from valid online offers — I sent a saved HTML of payment page just before payment with online with cheapest e-booking, and they matched!Call ahead if you have a larger dog (read their online policy) but management was very accommodating, and most pleasant to speak to Has a great spot for your pooch to walk and poop with a lawn behind the hotel away from traffic — but don’t forget to bring a baggie as their dispenser near the garbage was empty for my stay Still, the lawn was poop free

Indoor pool was clean and comfortable, and the loin-spawn had a blast using it I did not try to bring the dog into the pool, and I would not recommend itBreakfast service was tasty, and well kept, and would also recommend that over local restaurants for the convenience and cost savings for larger groups Food service ran like clockwork thanks to Donna, the Breakfast Manager for my visitOnly complaint might be thin walls for my room, but it wasn’t really an issue after 9 pmI plan to stay again

Langly Boops

I wanted to rate this higher but I just can’t in good faith do that cause the beds were so bad, you’re better off sleeping on the floor Why were they so hard??? I’m glad I was there for just 1 night cause I can’t imagine being there longer than that I also woke up with backaches and the a/c kept turning off and on keeping me and my family up all night

It wasn’t a fun timeThe complimentary breakfast was good and the staff was very nice but the main reason you go to an inn is to sleep If you can’t sleep then it defeats the purpose So yeah Please spend more money on better mattresses

T. Michael Rearic

Very nice hotel Everything was clean and the staff was great The complimentary breakfast was a little lacking, as they all are but, the restaurant next door serves the best breakfast I have ever eaten in a restaurant

We came to Hershey for a concert and the hotel was exactly ONE mile from the Hershey theater Parking was easy Trip was great Thanks, Hampton Inn

The staff is wonderful The lady at the desk was nice and even opened the conference room so our large group of families could have dinner together The breakfast is also very good but Jaime, who waits the breakfast area deserves a special mention

She was so nice, attentive, and energetic that we all enjoyed our delicious breakfast even more Now, the hotel and rooms are old and need some updates The pool wasn’t clean either One of our friends had stains in their sheets and he had to change them himself after waiting for a long time and asking multiple times

Chas

Not a bad hotel, but definitely needs some work to be worth the nightly pricePros: indoor pool, (small) workout room, location, room size Walls/doors are pretty sound proof (I’m a light sleeper)

Cons: The elevator was not even close to clean Same with most of the hallway floors The hot tub was completely broken and needed a cleaning I got attitude when I asked if it was going to be fixed any time soon Parking is weird but seems plentiful enoughI would be willing to try this hotel again, maybe it’s better during the summer busy season

Joaquin Olson

An amazing hotel to stay at Super close to the park and museum, also nearby retail stores and restaurants The gym and pool are very nice but is a small hotel

Snack bar and restaurant inside the restaurant are very nice The shower and care amenities in the bathroom were also very nice along with the room There was a thunderstorm the night I stayed there and there was no signal for the TV and what a better time for it to happen during the NBA Finals Power almost went out but in all good circumstances Front desk is very nice and I will come back to this hotel

The staff at this hotel were awesome They were very helpful with finding local activities The morning breakfasts were well tended and had a couple of gluten free options–Udi’s bagels, eggs, and yogurt

The hotel was super clean and well taken care of It was nice to have Netflix in our room The rooms were very clean and the beds were fairly comfortableMy only dislikes about the room was no matter how well closed the shower door was, there was always a puddle on the floor, after I also wasn’t crazy for the wall-mounted soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion dispensers They are a great idea for freeing up counter space, but they dripped after every use

John serock

What a great find! We recently stayed here with another family and could not have been happier Cory at check in was awesome, he gave us great dinner recommendations (The Italian lodge in adjoining the property was a diamond in the rough we would have never considered without his insisting on it), he had a full hotel and did not stop moving effortlessly between cleaning up the tables in the breakfast area, gathering more pool towels when needed and checking out guests purchasing drinks and snacks at the front desk The rooms were IMMACULATE! know the hotel is fairly new but with all the talk of staffing issues you would have never known it here as the rooms and guest’s areas were very clean

The breakfast in the morning was getting wiped out pretty quickly with a full hotel with TONS of families but Kiersten did a great job of keeping things filled and tables were quickly wiped down as people got up This will definitely be our go to Hotel in the Hershey area

brian parent

Rooms are clean and the staff is genuine and helpful Breakfast is very well attended as well as the pool in the evening There is no lifeguard or observance of the “pool rules” so pay close attention to your children/grandchildren

On one night of our stay a large group of unsupervised children were roaming tge halls running and yelling at each other up until 10pm the staff seemed ineffective at dealing with this even though the parents of the children should have their heads checked Breakfast has many items including sundae toppings for the make your own pancakesThe hotel is close to everything worth doing or seeing in Hershey and was not a bad experience

We had a room with two queen size beds One of the beds the fitted sheet was inside out along with several hairs and dirt pieces found in the bedding I told the staff which was given the option to change rooms or make me own bed with new sheets

I chose to make my own bed because we had already unpacked The walls must also be thin was able to hear people in the hallway along with the room next to us Not planning to stay here again as they didn’t even adjust the price of our stay But the pool and hot tub was nice

Erin Huff

The vibe immediately walking in was friendly and calm Lady working the desk was so nice and understanding Rooms are very well cleaned and modern

Beds are the comfiest I’ve slept in Pool and hot tub are good temps and clean Could be repainted around edges, but otherwise great! Breakfast was better than a restaurant with good options! Thank you for such a easy stay!

Keith Pierce

I’ve stayed at other Country Inn & Suites before and this was one of the better ones The staff was very friendly and informative The room was clean, impressively decorated and the TV was high quality! The free breakfast was good – not great, but good

The only downside in this hotel was the hallways and elevators Unlike the room, they were not quite as fresh and clean There was an unpleasant odor in the elevator Overall however, it’s a good hotel priced right, so we’d stay there again

Fairfield Inn by Marriott Hershey Chocolate Avenue has really clean and spacious rooms The breakfast was nice, and has some variety of options The rooms didn’t feel stuffy like other hotels that I have been and the idea that the rooms had windows that allow for some fresh air is totally awesome for me (I am more of a natural air person)

Plus it’s closeness to Hershey Park and Chocolate World I think they just recently renovated Our stay was short but we enjoyed every bit of it

Overall the hotel is in good condition; I stayed here often for work Although this trip may be the last time me and my full engagement team of 5 people stay here for 2-3 weeks after being here with my family and having to tell noisy guests in the outside area to be quiet at 10pm since the hotel staff were busy doing nothing Dumb way to lose roughly $40k in business a year in the February/March timeframe annually

A few little flaws with the room; paint/plaster in a corner where wall meets ceiling Calk in one corner of shower was not done properly and had small holes No idea what 2nd light switch was for just inside of door

Other than that, my stay was good Nice and quiet bcuz it was off the main road Oh, don’t serve waffles with caramel or sugar They turn into bricks when kept warm on a steam line

I stay at this property a couple times each month It’s literally across the street from the airport If you have an early flight, it’s a great place to stay

The staff is AMAZING!! They are so courteous and polite especially the front desk staff The young man that works the bar is great too The hotel is so clean It still looks brand new! The rooms are spacious and spotless every time I’m here!!

Fantastic new property located at MDT but miraculously immune from aircraft noise Well-appointed rooms and smartly-designed lobby areas provide a business traveller’s mecca Lobby bar with small bites (for fee) is open from 5-9PM and a 24/7 ‘market’ offers snacks, sodas, beer and wine for late-night arrivals

Comfy beds, spacious bathrooms and friendly staff complete the 5 Star experience

Beautiful hotel, beautiful views, great food options inside and around Minutes away from Hershey park, and near everything else important! Great pools and spa, friendly staff and beautiful seating areas both inside and outside Stayed in a suite and was thoroughly impressed

large rooms and clean bathroom! Ice machine was a little far, but nothing crazy Highly recommend staying here if you can!

I stayed at the Hotel Hershey for a week and had an outstanding time The pool was fun, not too cold and had 2 water slides The pool wasn’t to deep, so it‘s more safe for little kids

But evening it was deep there are a lot of life guards around the pool The Iberian Lounge had a good selection of drinks and the hotel had many places to get snacks and eat The hotel is very close to Hershey Park so you can take a short bus trip there Overall the hotel was a very good experience with good food and lots of fun

It’s like walking back into time – more appealing to adults then children This was our first visit so I wasn’t sure if this or the lodge would be a better choice for us There was quite a bit to do with my son

He loved the pool with the water slides, the pool tables and shuffleboard, the ping pong tables and corn hole boards that were set up in the courtyard You will need reservations for the restaurants and they have dress codes, which I should have researched a bit more in advance, so we stuck to the room service option, which was very delicious
