Carolina Reaper

Sweetest staff ever The lady upfront was super friendly and welcoming and even let us meet her dog The place is so cozy and there’s tons of fun things in the common areas to enjoy like books and games

I loved staying here as a peaceful retreat, the effort and personal touches are all there into making the rooms extra nice The beds are very comfy and soft ( One suggestion for sensitive sleepers though: bring your own pillow)

Lulu Ponce

The rooms were nice, clean and warm There was even a small heater for some extra warmth The room I stayed at was 104 so it was at the end of the outside hall which had a nice view of the forest outside

The bathroom was small with only a standing shower but they had towels, hand soap, conditioner, shampoo and body wash to use There was a hair dryer too, which I wasn’t expecting to be there since I thought I had to request one so that was nice The walls are thin so you can definitely hear your neighbors but it was really quite for the most part since the inn is pretty isolated It’s close to Lake arrowhead, like a 5 minute drive and it’s close to hiking trails and sky park Oh! And people were really nice and helpful I was just confused about the room service I wasn’t sure if I was suppose to ask for it or if they had a specific time they cleaned up the rooms I’ll have to ask next time lol Overall I had a pleasant experience there and I would go back 🙂

Jordan Herrera

ABSOLUTELY RecommendIf I could rate this more than 5 stars I would It’s a very cute place from top to bottom

Very cozy rooms A beautiful view from every angle A common room with a games closet There’s a cute little fairy garden in the front And a cute little dogMy mom, daughter and I took a little weekend trip to visit the snow and stayed here I would absolutely recommend to stay here to anyoneThey are the sweetest people and so friendly And HELPFUL My moms car was not prepared to be snowed in and the husband working there was LITERALLY digging us a path to get out and onto the road And when that was way too much, they had no issues with us waiting around for hours until AAA came to tow us out

Really nice stay and the rooms are so cute they are like little studio apartments Has everything you need for cooking a meal The offered toiletries are very high quality

I liked that it had a desk for me to be able to get my work doneIt was a little noisy during the night but I am a light sleeper so no fault to the hotelReally great place to stay for a rest or for a business trip There are so many food options within walking distance from the hotel Staff is very friendly No complaints

Kristie Christensen

The guy at the front desk was so nice and helpful He was so patient with someone that had a billion questions in front of me and seriously turned my bad day into a good one with his uplifting comments He was very helpful and even called to check if my room was okay

I got the cutest note under my door from the hotel And breakfast was great in the morning too!

Oasis UHAMAKA

Everything was good except the breakfast The breakfast was absolutely nasty The waffles tasted clumpy and you could taste the sugar like the batter wasn’t even mixed properly

The food literally felt like jail food There was food that was packaged like it was from the county jail smh Prepacked eggs and omelettes that’s 🤢 I was so disappointed because I looked forward to waking up and starting my day with some good food Not here Embassy Suites does it right they cook all the food themselves and serve it to you that morning I know Residence inn is trying to save money by serving breakfast like this but you lose more customers by doing this Besides that the stay was pleasant, the rooms were clean and the staff was nice and the hotel looks very well kept

Across the street from the swimming beach and boat rentals Parking is sparse, and really awkward on the lower level The place is built on the side of the mountain, so the front is 2 stories taller than the back

That said, the rooms are very nice, and in general, any problems come from the geography and the area If I was returning to Lake Gregory, this would be at the top of my choices to stay If you have mobility issues, you need to be in one of the rooms at the upper parking level

TheFabsLV

Perfect, cozy accommodations right across from Lake Gregory The bed linens are the nicest I’ve experienced away from home and they smelled so amazingly fresh and lovely! The super friendly owner/manager provided awesome communications before and during my stay, even calling me as I traveled to check on my anticipated arrival time and again to let me know that they were ready early for me if I wanted to check-in thenA great stay all-around!

Decent 2 night 3 day stay, room was big for 2 adults and a kid, also loved that it was within my particular budget!Location was excellent, close to freeway and dining all around, if you’re adventurous try the local restaurants, won’t be disappointed, but if you care for big chain restaurants theres plenty nearbyRoom was a bit unkempt, some stains on the bathroom wall/floor, looked yellowing in color so may have tried to clean but anyway also noticed the shower curtain was old and ripping at the seams in some areas, kind of surprising for a place with Hilton in the nameOverall couldn’t really complain, I mainly care that the bed was nice and comfy, had a TV, plenty of free parking and most of all, free wifi!!!I’d add that I did have some noisy neighbors a few rooms down the hall but the noice mostly dissipated once I shut the door and turned on the TV

Overall enjoyed the stay and will be coming back if I’m traveling to this area again, thanks

Jovita Foster

My husband and I went to this particular hotel because we enjoy the king bedroom with whirlpool inside the room We went there for just an overnight stay for Father’s day and to relax The rooms are pretty much always satisfactory, but this time was different – unacceptable and outside of the range of service and comfortability expected from Hilton

Upon checking out, we noticed that there was a large blood smear on the side of the white comforter, as to where one would sit on the side of their bed We immediately reported this incident to the front-desk staff (Sabrina), who urged us to contact the corporate office for further assistance (we took a picture for reference) Thus far, I have been on three separate calls to Hilton corporate office for assistance with the matter at hand and was advised that I would be given a case number and should receive a call back from them within 3 – 5 business days Customer service is not at all the way it use to be, unfortunately

The experience was very negative overall The main issue is the cleanliness of the hotel Overall poor housekeeping of the rooms, bathrooms, and general gathering areas of the hotel

Overflowing trash cans in the breakfast area, dirty floors in the hallways and room, a dirty shower that stayed the same dirty despite me asking each morning of my stay for housekeeping to thoroughly clean the shower including the walls Even after specifying what the issues were and where, it was still not clean See attached pictures of what appears to be bloody prints on the shower wall and other dirt, not sure what, as well)I stay at Hilton brand hotels frequently and rarely experienced this level of unsatisfactory cleaning Additionally, the evening/nighttime front desk person was not pleasant and came off very rude and condescending to me and my coworker, separately I do not recommend staying at this hotel

Don Palmer

The room was very spacious The grounds were well kept, and the breakfast buffet was better than the average hotel buffets I loved that I was able to check in, get my digital room key, and check out from the app

Only thing I would like to see is an online map showing room # locations and access doors It took us a bit to find parking near the closest entry to our room without any avaliable online map

Selena Chen

Very great place to study because it is close to my school I hope they can build more in our bay area or even a hotel apartment for these business people And I hope the price is not too much if they want to stay as long

And please use the rental assistance as well I hope to see this more in the future My place where I stayed was very bad Job less, health less, and very homeless because everything was control by some people RUDE! I like your place! Get breakfast and housekeeping I can go to work and study without any worry I hope to this project soon

Price gouging at its finest for a sub-par room and dangerous hotelThe floors were VERY slick when we arrived Almost like someone threw down a bunch tops on the tile in the hallway

My friends and I almost broke our necks walking to our rooms We told several hotel staff as we watched other guests slip around, nearly injuring themselves, same as us The hotel staff didn’t care at all No “wet floor” signs were put out the entire time we were there We avoided the area entirelyBy the time we left the floor was sticky and dirty in that area It was still a real safety hazard

Deborah Newport

On June 1st 2022 I went to the Holiday Inn Express to get a room for one night I asked for a quiet room which they provided I was interested in going right to bed

It was about 6 pm when I got there When I got to the room and sat on the bed I noticed the mattress was soft Upon further inspection I noticed that the bed consisted of a mattress pad upon a box spring I was so tired that night I tried to make it work But it didn’t work I tossed and turned all night and I didn’t get any sleep at all It was the most uncomfortable bed I ever slept on I will never go back here And I don’t recommend it to anyone And for this they charged me $172 I think they should give me a refund But I’m not expecting anything I just thought I’d share my experience

Christiane Highfill

This hotel was recommended by the conference organizers It is located near the conference site, and as an IHG member, I went ahead and booked a roomI was able to check in online so I just walked in, signed the paperwork, and got my key

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, and offered great dinner recommendations They acknowledge you each time you walk through the door, so that’s nice and comfortingMy room is spacious and I do like the amenities There’s a Keurig, microwave and fridge There is also an iron and ironing board The bathroom has a hair dryer and toiletries mounted in the shower The shower is fantastic as it has great water pressure and as a walk-in has ample space It was disappointing to find that the shower gel bottle was empty, so it was a good thing I had brought my own soapFor the most part, the room was clean However, I found crumbs on the floor so it appeared it wasn’t thoroughly vacuumed There is a bench in the room and when I went to put my suitcase on it, I found white powder/residue all over it This tells me that the staff doesn’t clean the room well as they don’t pay attention to detailsLastly, I like to keep my hydroflask filled with ice and water The ice machine was just across the hall from me The machine did not have ice So disappointing!!!Because is these misses, I gave this hotel 3 stars

Beautiful hotel! The staff was very friendly and professional The chef was so nice and talkative My room was clean, smelled nice and a good temperature

Their complimentary breakfast seemed way to nice and tasty to be a “complimentary” breakfast My only complaint if I had to find one would be that the area seemed just a little sketch Not bad, just not super great I’m not from the area so I could be totally off Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area

Dee Denyse

I loved my stay it was the last thing me and my boyfriend are going to do because he is going to have surgery and won’t be able to go out for while so it was really special to me, this hotel stay it was clean and organized The staff was friendly and kind

The bed was really comfortable firm but soft enough The pillows were my favorite I truly enjoyed my stay thank you very much I will always cherish this trip

Roberto Villanueva

This was our first time visiting this hotel Booked this place because of its ratings and proximity to University of Redlands The people who greeted us were very helpful and pleasant

Our accommodations were quite pleasingcomfortable beds and an ample desk to work on What really surprised us was the breakfast next day My wife had ordered an omelet and had requested it to be cooked “well done” She cut into it, and it was not done correctly She inquired if they might be able to cook it more, was toldno Much to our surprise, the chef came over and asked if he could assist, we explained the situation, and left it at that Shortly afterwards, he arrives with a new omelet, well doneand my wife enjoyed it Little details like this make a big difference in creating a loyal customer We are most definitely coming back again Thanks for your people’s efforts, this was a pleasure to respond in a most positive way 😎👍👍👍👍

Chose this hotel based on the reviews and ended up being disappointedChecked in Friday night and was told the elevator was out of service and we had to carry all of our luggage up the stairs to the 3rd floor As of Sunday night, elevator is still broken

We made it to our room and noticed that our room door looked like someone tried to force their way in (see photos) The room was spacious, the AC worked wonderfully, no water pressure issues and the beds were of decent comfortLeft for the day on Saturday and returned late at night to find that our room was not serviced I figured it might have been because we didn’t leave the sign on the door asking for service So the next morning, we left the sign out by 7:30am came back at 9pm ready to shower only find out that our room was once again not serviced I let the front desk know and had to walk back downstairs to pick up the new towelsI personally didn’t like the hot breakfast – I felt the eggs and hash brown were bland but it was nice that it was free and not just continentalThis is an area we frequently travel to but we won’t be returning to this hotel We paid $650 for 3 nights – we expected better than what we got

Esther Fatiau

If i could give them 10 STARS, i would!!! HANDS DOWN, THE BEST HOTEL YOU’LL EVER STAY AT The whole entire staff are so friendly! The front desk, the housekeepers, the cooks and the manager Luis

They always go above and beyond to make sure your stay is 100% worth it Our favorite hotel to stay at thank Karinna, the sweet front desk lady was very professional Answered all my million questions and let us know about some of the things that were wrong with our room (the fridge was leaking) Offered to move my family to different room if we wanted to which we didn’t The leak didn’t bother us a bit The sweet cookshe’s an angel Always asks if we needed anything and she’s there to help assist us if we needed anything She’s forever cleaning and helping the other customers Cleanliness is the other reason why i LOVE this place I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE!!!!!

Rozalyn Alvarez

BW Plus Arrowhead suited us well We stayed in a whirlpool room Room was spacious, bed was very comfortable, we like the little bar area with mini fridge and microwave, everything fit needs

The whirlpool could have used an extra cleaning and a drain plug that fix properly But overall the hotel stay was nice, we would recommend and visit there again

I’ve stayed in lots of hotels across the country and have enjoyed my stay here more than any other in recent years, including the local Hampton Inn & Suites nearby This was comparable, but without the waffles This Comfort Suites is shopping, restaurant and freeway close without being too noisy

The area is nice with friendly people The hotel itself is nice, clean and quiet Didn’t hear any dogs or kids, which is a plus! Room and bed were clean and comfy At check in and throughout my stay, Alex at the front desk was friendly, hospitable, very professional and accommodating The pool was clean and well-kept, as was the spa; both were spacious, and I got to swim by myself a few times without anyone else in the pool and patio area Patio has shade and sun; however, currently, there’s construction going on on the other side of the patio fence between the hotel and freeway Overall, a 10 stay and I will definitely return! Thanks, Alex!

Very dirty hotel! They seem to pride themselves on being “unassuming”Upon checking in, I was asked for my bookingcom confirmation number

I showed my confirmation email and with that information, they were able to cancel my reservation and rebook directly through the hotel This also prevented me from leaving a review on bookingcomI didn’t realize until after checking out and was looking to leave a reviewWhen asking for an early check-in or late departure, they try to charge you $50 regardless of availability When you decline, they act like they are doing you a huge favor by accommodating you anywaysThey were stingy with their pool towels and extra pillows which were many years past their expiration Yet they let homeless people come in and take all of the breakfast foodTheir pool was covered in slimy algae Lighting was dim It felt like a dank basementSofa bed was in dire need of being replaced It felt like springs between two sheets Closet door was busted so it couldn’t be opened Wallpaper was peeling Some outlets didn’t work The shower walls were badly stainedEverything was tired and dirty Front desk staff are hardly around You have to yell for someone to get their attention Very obvious this hotel is poorly managed

Pauline Skaggs

Yes, the room reeked of cumin!!! We left the window open several days in a row! The hallway smelled awful, too! Room 312, on the third floor Avoid it like the plague! Breakfast was a sack with a juice, a granola bar The hotel clearly states hot breakfast on it’s site

Their cafe was sealed shut with two closed doors with a landscape painting A party of 5 people were upset as they had to provide an additional meal they hadn’t planned on Cutting corners everywhere! Don’t stay here!!

Quaint & Clean but not tranquil Right off a busy road; we could hear traffic day and night They have a small patch of fenced in grass in the middle of the complex where they let people leave their dogs

All morning, one dog was there crying All afternoon, 4 little yippy dogs barked every time the wind blew a leaf or someone walked up the stairsNext time, we’ll go all the way to Big Bear or Lake Arrowhead This might be a good spot for ski seasonPrice was very reasonable compared to manyOwner’s son was very very nice, and helped us carry our luggage up the stairs Note – not a good location for handicap

Stephanie Whitmore

Very disappointed in the owner’s customer service I booked a room for myself and two young children Mom traveling solo with kids

When we arrived for check-in, the power was out at the hotel This is clearly a health, safety and security issue – to stay without heat and lights The owner offered me a camping lantern and was not willing to work with us any sort of refund or credit Shame on him

Courtney Werth

Giant Oaks Lodge was great I ended up staying in two different room when i extended last minute103 – The 2 Bed Basic was a nice little room with great wooden ambiance

I would book here by myself or with another person, the space is long but not wide in the bedroom and the beds take up alot of width, although the bathroom is comparitively large and roomy Its a nice spot to come home to after running around in the San Bernardino108 – The 3 Bed Spa Lodge was awesome The room was huge, theres a spa bath and a shower, it has its own balcony porch, and basically i loved it Great for a honeymoon suite or a couples stay in the mountains but it could hold a family with no problem Loved itThe staff was great, very accomodating to all my requests Their sign up for pool time protocol was a great idea so you and your family can book yourselves an hour at the pool where its all yours!I loved this little getaway Great little spot!

Terrific location with BJ Brew house and Steaks next door Room was clean Not enough soap and shampoo in the bathroom

They only provided 1 small plastic bottle of shampoo 1 small bottle of conditioner and a small bar of soap Not the liquid soap dispensers we are growing used to Service at front desk exceptional Good place to stay overall Free breakfast in the morning

Lovely little retreat! So cozy The room was cute and updated, and the grounds were beautiful! Easy access, easy check-in Friendly staff

There is a train station nearby, which you could occasionally hear, and the A/C unit was a little noisy I sleep through anything typically, so it didn’t bother me My wife is a light sleeper, so she was aware of itStill, the great outweighed the not so good Would definitely be back, and recommend for others!

Great little motel Clean, amazing bed non toxic cleaners

I am sensitive to harsh chemicals No harsh chemicals here My only complaint is the noise above and poor insulation so I heard people walking above me If you are sensitive to sound, go for a top floor I stayed in King Deluxe room; very nice overall Even the bathtub has a grab bar I will definitely stay here again

I had a massage booked here as a treat during our vacation The massage was okay She was nice and kind of knew what she was doing, but for the price I expected better

The music playing during the massage was not soothing at all Jazz and big band are not what I expected The massage room was cold and the bed warmer wasn’t working They have a nice spa and sauna in the women’s locker room which I enjoyed The showers were all cold though I tried every single one All in all it was not what I expected for the price The resort is beautiful inside but I would not book spa services here again

Spent the long holiday weekend there and was impressed with our suite on the 3rd floor The bed was the most comfortable bed I’ve had in a hotel ever Didn’t care for the paper thin walls and the random sounds (metal clanking, doorknocks, plumbing, etc

) heard throughout our stay but it wasn’t bothersome to the point of requiring a complaint A microwave in the bigger suites would be a great plus! Cleanliness was decent overall, however, my family and I still do a wipe cleaning before settling in
