Had a wonderful stay here for 6 days The room was big and cleanThe staff were friendly throughout the stay

The doormen were very nice always quickly chatting with us and opening the doors for us There was coffee and tea available for free every morning which was a big plus The main advantage to this hotel is how central to the city it is It is only a few minutes walk to the white house and also several great restaurants It is on the same block as a red line train station which made it super easy to get around the city Would highly recommend staying here it you are in Washington DC and want to easily take public transportation to all the landmarks of the city

Christine

It’s the last night of my week long stay at the Mayflower Hotel & it is by far the most immaculate, comfortable yet not sterile space loaded with amenities & hospitality driven employees Beautiful, rich feeling, spacious rooms… with great water pressure I upgraded on Friday night & saved $10/night to have a 3 room “suite” so make sure you are getting those weekend savings! Please take care of your bellhops, door men, bartenders, all of the good people with tips large or small proving it’s the appreciation that truly matters and in return they go out of their way to make sure you feel like your a rockstar

Good food, rather small selection at restaurant/bar, but it gets a bit pricey & so does parking

We have stayed here before(2017) and loved it This visit (July ’22) has been a bit different I arrived prior to check in and understand they did not have a room ready for me

I arrived at 1pm, check-in is 4p I was repeatedly told they were cleaning the rooms I get that There was no place to sit in lobby as all the other people waiting for their rooms had taken the seats I waited for over three hours and they never offered to hold my bags so I could go do something while waiting When I FINALLY got my room, after 4pm, I found trash under the couch, toothpaste still in the bathroom sink and a little curly hair in sink as well, and several dark stains on the carpet I understand waiting for them to clean room, but day nab it! It should have actually been clean!!! After the not super friendly but not super snarky attitude of the last afternoon staff, I was not wanting to wait another three hours for a supposedly clean room So I stayed in room i was given Disappointed on this trip in the Mayflower

Great new Marriott property in a convenient location – just a 10 minute walk from the Congressional office buildings and is right next door to a Whole Foods All the staff including the valet to management were incredibly nice and attentive Rooms are standard AC brand rooms and there are water bottles in the room which is a nice touch

Rooftop bar has incredible views of the city and an interesting menu

Rewine-ing the Week Podcast

Great time! Hotel is beautiful and the staff AMAZING! The Smoke and Mirrors Rooftop floor is absolutely amazing and with a breathtaking view of some of Capitol Hill is truly beyond words My friend and I really enjoyed our stay The only thing that not a deal breaker but the gym – you have to be walked over to the apartment next door to use the gym since there isn’t one in the building

This is a franchised Marriot – even with that it was a great experience and I recommend! – my pictures are of the rooftop and breakfast area

Mikey Fort

The location of the hotel is awesome Very close to many historic sites The hotel itself is VERY nice and it has a lounge on the rooftop with a clear view of the capitol building

The rooms are spacious and have really comfortable beds The bathrooms have a rain shower function as well which was pretty nice I’d definitely stay here again

The friendly staff is exceptional They really care about you during your stay there The room is comfortable, remodeled with good decor

But the bathroom is narrow, not enough for a couple to shower together Perfect location Close enough to all monuments and stores The gym is well equipped and the restaurant is amazing I recommend this hotel Congratulations to all the staff and thank you for making my stay perfect

Gorgeous hotel with such fun history of being an old bank for the 1800’s We had a deluxe room and while small it was beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable The downstairs speakeasy was so cool with the old vault door outside

We only had a quick minute for one drink but would be a great spot for a date or late night Tons of interesting drinks and apps The staff was incredible So friendly and accommodating Breakfast in the Cafe was amazing too Definitely worth booking Totally worth the price

Hailey Davis

We are SO happy with our stay at the Riggs We got the Bed and Breakfast package which was so convenient so we could start the day before DC got too busy It’s the perfect location by amazing food choices for happy hour and dinner

We walked literally everywhere, or we took the metro railway, which has a station on the same block The employees are happy and so kind The rooftop view is stunning Their bartenders take their job very seriously and they are basically artists with their drinks! Thank you for an amazing stay! We will be back

Excellent and unique service I enjoyed one of the best Birthdays of my life at this Hotel From the reception right up to the BLT restaurant, everything was top class and top notch

My server for the day; “Jaime, I’ll never forget you in a moment Thank you”This is the place if you’re looking for a Great Venue for your event!Recommend!

In our first stay at the Trump International in Washington, DC, my wife and I were spoiled the moment we arrived From the valet service, to the door man to the hotel staff, our visit was perfection The interior lobby area is beautiful (as is the building itself) and despite our plans to try local spots for a last drink and bite to eat, we instead rested in the hotel’s lounge and ordered from the menu at Benjamin’s Bar due to the terrific food and relaxing atmosphere

On our first night we dined at the hotel’s restaurant (BLT) and we weren’t disappointed with the choice as the meal was delicious and the service top rate We loved our room and all the little extras found waiting for us there No, I wasn’t paid to write this and I have no financial stake in the hotel In our travels my wife and I have stayed at some fine hotels, be they Marriott, Hilton or Regency, and despite how wonderful some of them were, the Trump International surpasses them all, easily

I would not recommend staying here The staff treated us like they were doing us a favor and yet they don’t offer anything here The pool is closed

The valet is a joke but charges $49 a day There is no hospitality or warmth here The bar is supposed to close at 11, but they turned us away at 10:40 We then called and asked the front desk for a bottle opener and the rude staff person was obnoxious, arrogant, off putting and refused to help us out Instead he hung the phone up on us Never got the bottle opener Never got an apology for the awful service The GM was apparently on site and was made aware of our concerns and never once reached out Don’t stay here People wonder why robots are replacing them This stay would have been better if they had robots serving us

Young Juhn

Location and quality of the hotel was good But service was not much I requested early check-in and I do understand due to large events, rooms were not available but font desk staff communicated not just me but to all others like is customers’ fault asking for early check-in

Very disappointed staff training on customer service It damages the band value of The Westine

The price of the room is what got us to stay here, room was OK However they charged an additional $100 deposit that they mentioned NO WHERE on the website and the desk clerk claimed it would go away once they checked our room upon check out It’s been 3 days and the charge is STILL on my friends account

If we had an extra 100 bucks to throw around we wouldn’t have looked for a cheaper hotel Not everyone can just wait days and days to get that money back these days Especially when our room was left in perfect condition Doubtful we will stay again Even the VERY nice hotels in the harbor don’t charge 100 deposit 🙄

I plan on staying here again when next in the area This hotel stay was great for a number of reasons The desk attendants were polite, the room was very clean, and the breakfast was exactly what I needed to get me going on the morning with good protein options

While the hotel is somewhat worn, it is well maintained and clean My only complaint with the facility is that all entry doors are not useable from the outside except for the lobby entrance This hotel has a lot going for it and only minor “issues” that would not bump this from the top of my list of places to stay in the area

We stayed at The Line for three nights and I wish we could have stayed longer! Prior to our arrival the front desk staff were friendly and helpful on the phone with fantastic dinner suggestions and tips for getting around via public transit We arrived early and were expecting to leave our bags at the front desk but the employee was very accommodating and checked us in The room was lovely

Incredibly clean bathroom and bedroom, a beautiful view, comfortable bed, and very quiet We enjoyed downtime either at the rooftop mini bar at night watching planes fly in to Reagan air port or during the day on the patio out front of the hotel Truly a beautiful hotel and spectacular staff 10/10 would recommend!!

Marshall Daly

Superb location, and very cool building Rooms are good — certainly better & more unique than a chain hotel, but nothing fancyService, however, was very disappointing for this price point

Called room service for an extra set of utensils never delivered Front desk called with a non-urgent questions at ~11pm on Friday night, then accidentally called my room at ~6am the following Saturday morning ouch Finally, tried to check out the hotel’s rooftop bar and later, the “included” rental bikes only to find out that roof was not open to guests and the bikes were not availableAll told, great location and cool architecture, but for this price the service & amenities left a lot to be desired Hopefully they can improve, it’s great having a hotel option in such an excellent location!

Mollie Young

Everything about our experience was incredible The staff is warm and hospitable, the room was spacious and tasteful (with great city views), and the amenities cannot be beat! We were so excited to use the gym and couldn’t get over equipment options — there’s something for everyone! The hotel restaurant, No Goodbyes, is also a must The service is excellent and the food is fantastic

Definitely have a cocktail at the bar before or after dinner and check out the coffee shop the next morningEverything about our stay was wonderful, and we are already planning our return visit!

My stay could’ve been better and had high expectations for the hotel First, I was very happy that they were able to accommodate my last-minute change to upgrade my room from a standard to the Luxury Corner King room, which we absolutely loved the room We also were very appreciative that we were able to check-in at 2:00 PM instead of 3:00 PM as we had just traveled from Virginia Beach, VA by Amtrak and it was our first time in DC (this was a surprise birthday weekend trip)

The woman that helped us check-in was very very nice and the check-in process was less than 15 minutes, she gave us 2 complimentary drink tickets to use at the bar which also made us really love the experience so far What was not a pleasant experience and was very upsetting and disappointing was the following: 1 We went to go get ice on our floor, but the ice machine was out of order We called down to the front desk to see if there were other ice machines and were told no, that they are on other floors We were then told that someone would bring ice to our door shortlynobody ever came nor did we ever get a call about the ice We tried to use our key to get to a different floor to use their ice machine but it was not working We were also on a time crunch/schedule to go see some museums/monuments (as some require timed-entry tickets) so we never did call back about the ice We returned hours later and finally, our key let us go up to a different floor to retrieve ice I don’t think guests should have to be going to different floors to get ice 2 There was no ice bag in the ice bucket, which is a health and sanitation issue, as putting the ice inside a bucket without a bag can make it dirty and you can get sick from this Other hotels that are not “5-star” rated always have ice bags, so this was very disappointing We ended up using the disposable shower cap to place the ice in the bag 3 One reason we picked this hotel was that there was a concierge service offered, which we were going to use to get information about the monuments, museums, and restaurants as this was our first time in DC and only there for a week We walked down to the front desk and spoke to the same woman that helped us check-in to inquire about how to get tickets to the United States Holocaust Museum (tickets were almost impossible to get/booked in advance) and we thought maybe the hotel had a select number reserved She told us that the concierge service is unavailable/suspended and that she would talk to her manager and call us to let us know what they could do She took my last name and our room number and we went up to our roomwe never did receive a phone call, and at that point, it was already too late and we headed to bed 4 Our bed was completely missing a fitted sheet on the bed and we essentially slept on top of the bare mattress The bed only had the top sheet and the comforter, and we can see the mattress pad that was on top of the actual mattress (which also was very very dirty), and that upset us a lot as we just have traveled all day, had things to do once we got check-in, and then we’re about to lay down for bed 5 The bathroom was amazing, the separate tub and shower are what sold us to getting the Luxury Corner King room, but, there was an issue with our shower The walk-in shower was missing the rubber sealant on the bottom of the door, so whenever you took a shower, the water got all over the floor and basically flooded the bathroom 6 We ordered in-room dining breakfast both days honestly, it was not good Eggs were overcooked, protein was undercooked/raw, and some of the items were completely soggy Overall, the stay was not great/OK I really expected a better experience, as I was highly recommended this hotel by others Our stay failed to live up to the “5-star” rating and the “one-of-a-kind-stay” from their website It’s upsetting how much we paid for a room yet we did not receive the experience and service that should have come with it

Kimberly Giang

Super friendly staff and great location Room was very clean and tidy Valet staff was fast and very helpful

Love that it was pet friendly My only negative comment is that the shower and sink would do this weird random thing where it would shut off mid use for about 20seconds Fortunately the water would come back on nice and hot again but it was strange My overall experience was still 5 stars and I would definitely stay here again

Renato

Definitely it is not a 5 star hotel as some mention I would give 4 starWhat I didn’t like:No concierge or help for visitors

Even a cheap city map they didn’t have, had to go to another hotel and beg for one Restaurant reservations they Google, they are not able to make a call so it is faster to do it ourselvesCompulsory 30usd tax including telephone calls, higher speed internet that most of times doesn’t work, 2 X 0,50 cents water bottles, coffee and tea at the lobby, package handling (it was useful for me, but any other hotel do that for free, except Loews or Hilton), and other things most guests don’t useNo views (luxury and higher have views to a building other side of the street, superior room has a view to a wall and back of another very close building, standard room probably hasn’t a window),Bathroom toiletries are different brands each so shower will make you smell like a fruit salad,They probably don’t use a softener when washing towels (or softener is not working),All glasses are the cheapest roadside hotel plastic or paper cups Maybe they are still very worried about covid but not about convenience or confort If using plastic glasses is obligatory they could use nice cups as this is supposed to be an elegant hotel, but the cup is the same we find in 1 or 2 star hotels, or hospitalsMinibar doesn’t cool down Probably it only freezes when we request it to be filled but I had some beverages I wanted to cool for my city walk and couldn’t do thatWhen I flushed toilet during the night I believe I woke up the entire floor It makes an incredible noise for some couple of secondsWhat I liked:Reception staff is very friendly,Location is very nice, not far from anywhere and next door to the White House and less than 20 minutes to the museumsBlackout curtains in the room really workShower is good, pillows and bed are comfortable, air conditioning worksCleanliness and cleaning service Very goodRoom size is perfectValet staff is friendly and prompt (don’t forget it costs 60usd per day)

It was an absolute breeze in more ways than one! Checking in and checking out was very smooth and painless, with no waiting in line and everything done electronically (with clear emailed instructions) Access to the building, elevator, and room was all enabled by an easy-to-set-up app – very, very cool The room itself was sleek, modern, and comfortable – there was free coffee pods, which was a nice touch

It was also comforting to have an onsite contact in the lobby just in case anything went wrong – and she was warm and helpful and went the extra mile by delivering a bottle of water to my door

Krystal Quinlan

I recently stayed here as a solo woman traveler on a night off/retreat from the family (because sometimes you need a break!) The room was quiet, comfortable, and clean, and I felt safe The décor is trendy and elevated

The bed was super comfy, and I really appreciated the walk-in shower There was also a full kitchen where I could stash and reheat my food There are plenty of fast casual and sit down restaurants close by, as well as bars with live music and outdoor seating I would definitely return for another “night off”

Hilary Leister

I had a great experience at the new Coda on Half property! Placemakr is a cool company – they’re hotel rooms are actually in apartment buildings, so you typically have more space, full service kitchens, washer + dryer, etc in each room The property was really clean and modern and in an awesome neighborhood! If you’re going to the Nats ballpark, this property is literally right down the straight

I definitely recommend staying here

She kept a big, pretty smile on her face every time we entered and exited the hotel She was so nice and I hope her manager reads this review so that he/she can provide her with a raise She is deserves it! The room was spotless, very clean and inviting We slept well in the comfortable beds, the sofa bed mattress was even comfortable! The host at the hotel did not hesitate to provide service when needed They were “johnny on the spot” We also enjoyed the delicious breakfast The only thing missing at the hotel is a pool My great niece was anticipating upon arrival the pool She is currently taking swimming lessons and was so eager to show me her moves! In closing, the Hyatt Place National Harbor was a 5 star experience for me and my family

ProsI stayed here two nights with my family and a dogLocation was good

20 minutes to the DCWe can enjoy river view from our roomRoom was clean, staff was kind Included breakfast was okayI liked the area Clean and enjoyable Lots of restaurantsCons- Parking We have to park our car on the other building It’s not a problem It’s close fee was $20 per day Price is okay but if you once drive out, the ticket you paid will expire The parking fee is $20 per 3 hours ~ 24 hoursI parked once more than 3 hours and paid $20 and have to pay another $20 when I coming back at the same dayEventually, I paid $80 for 2 days- Shower There was no bath tub but a shower booth I liked it better however water pressure was too low

My husband and I recently stayed a night to celebrate our wedding night The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean and sanitized but i was extremely shocked by the lack of amenities at this hotel There was no microwave in the room

There was no room service No breakfast the next morning They did not validate parking I think I was expecting a little more from a hotel of such quality It was nice for a quick staycation but i probably won’t stay here again

Marcus Douglas

Good hotel within walking distance of everything in National Harbor area It’s clean, the prices are decent, and the bar and breakfast are goodThe design of the room was a bit ‘industrial’ for my taste – very bare bones, lots of hard surfaces, not very inviting

But the bed was soft and ultimately got the job doneDuring the week I stayed, only one elevator was working and it was incredibly slow Also, on Friday night some guests were partying in the hallways all night, until 4am/5am

Steve Hudson

Great hotel Beds were excellent! Wonderful pillows Central location, views and cold air conditioning

A little disappointed that you had to pay $24 a day for a parking garage and that breakfast was not included Easy walking distance to shopping, dinner, waterfront views Overall, would definitely recommend them as consideration for a place to stay

Came for casino experience only as part of a birthday getaway The GPS directions were a little weird but got us there Valet parking was prompt & only steps away from the casino entrance

We were carded & then on our way The atmosphere was lively for early Friday evening, drinks were plentiful, staff was pleasant & helpful, bathrooms were spotless My girlfriend plays the tables, blackjack & war, while I hit the slots & then joined her later for a $25 minimum war table The slots were stingy but I managed to hit enough to break even The tables were about the same, but eventually hit a streak at war & walked away several hundred on the plus side Some of the dealers seemed new, but no issues Masks were optional & social distancing wasn’t observed I was thrilled to find this casino is smoke-free! I would return here for sure

This is where I come to when I wanna feel luxurious! 😝 It’s a great spot to spend the day with family Lots of nice restaurants and bars at night 🍹🍸I really like the decorative themes they have close to the Casino 🎰 area and next to one of my favorite restaurants, Ginger

🍲There’s also lots of outdoor space to just enjoy the view of the national harbor area 🎡

Christina Grimes

So I can only speak on the Casino and the hotel lobby Security was pleasant upon entering I love a casino with a signature scent in the air

The Casino is pretty large with a nice variety of machines I only wish I saw more drink servers, I sat in a section for at least 30 minutes and did not see a serverThe lobby was beautiful, I enjoyed the installation Will definitely come back to play and hopefully stay next time

You will hear the food and beverage director before you see him During our trip, he raised his voice multiple times quite angrily – it was quite concerning to hear him speak to guest service staff in such a way and that he was comfortable enough to do it in front of guests, tooOtherwise, my husband and I had an absolutely lovely stay

Our room was amazing and there were lots of friendly faces I also especially enjoyed the pillows, and I wish I had thought to ask what type they were as they were super comfy

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a hotel This website will compare thousands of booking web sites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This hotel is one of the highest rated in this area

I have been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you for sure won’t regret itWe went to StRegis afternoon tea to celebrate the cherry blossom season and it didn’t disappoint The place is nice and their tea selection is amazing It’s a set menu I personally enjoyed the savory part more While the sweets were well represented and looked amazing, nothing tasted special but the sconesI highly recommend it I just wished that I have the choice of picking what I’d like instead of having little of everything They offered a to-go box for the rest of the sweets though

The hotel is amazing and me and my husband went here for the afternoon tea this passed Friday It was our 5 year anniversary and we were thinking of staying the night after a fun day of hanging out in the city Our opinion had changed when the person servicing us essentially never addressed me, even when I was the one asking questions

When my husband asked to have champagne, only HE got to taste it and I was blatantly ignored She had her back to me as often as possible That is until I was the one paying the check I have NEVER, and I do mean never, been treated that way in any service capacity This completely deterred me from book a night thereI’m sure the staff and hotel is wonderful but this was not a good look And this was our 5 year anniversary Probably will think twice before considering going here for a stay

Everything was absolutely incredible !! What a great little find in the big city Check- in and valet were smooth and seamless- they even allowed us an early check-in My only complaint is that they treated my dog like royalty and now it went to her head !! The hotel provided a dog bed, bowls, treats, cookies and so many rubs for her

The room was comfortable, perfect location and provided a free wine happy hour What could be better? Now let me tell you about Solomon what an asset to the Kimpton hotel! He was so genuinely friendly and went above and beyond for our stay From valet to helping us with our bags and even bringing us an anniversary bottle of wine, I can’t thank him personally enough for making our short little anniversary stay so memorable

Christina Williams

We had an amazing stay at The George The room was spacious and super clean The staff are all top notch

I have to give a special shout out to DAMARA K who provide the most knowledgeable, professional and personal service The ability to text front desk with questions, concerns great feature, front desk responded super fast to all inquiries Eating in DC can be a hit or miss experience, DAMARA provided amazing brunch, lunch and dinner recommendations throughout our stay DAMARA deserves a raise and a promotion ASAP Honorable mention to Benjamin, Hunter and the lovely gentlemen (can’t recall his name) who handled our luggage, everyone was GREAT This is the only place we will stay on our trips to DC

Matthew Rahe

None of the first key cards we got worked after the first time we used them(they only worked once) so we had to get new ones We ended up waiting ten minutes in the hallway because we couldn’t get into our room The bathroom doors need to be replaced with normal, lockable doors

The sliding one did not work smoothly, and the gap between the door and the wall was at least 2 or 3 inches, so from one of the beds you could easily see into the shower, which had completely clear glass, not to mention you could hear every single sound someone made in there In short, the key cards need to work better and there needs to be a lot more privacy in the bathroom

2 stars because they are not very helpful with room block requests for our wedding I made multiple phone calls chasing after the sales manager/director (Tanya) Even though she was nice and sweet, she was not able to help me at all

We went over the number of rooms, the types of rooms we need (suites were the MOST important rooms we need) and the details for our wedding but she continue to fail to meet our requests She was not very clear with the room block process The agreement letter and the link we supposed to receive via email for the room block was taking weeks to get, so I called and they said “we’ve been behind on assigning rooms for the other room block requests but you will receive the letter sometime this week” Then this week, she sent an email stating that they don’t have the suite I requested and they can only reserve one suite (which is NOT going to work) So, it took you weeks to tell me that the suite I requested is not available? To summarize my issues, 1 There’s no attention to details when it comes to customer service 2 No clear explanation about the room block process 3 No follow up phone call about our requests I/We will not be staying at this hotel for our wedding

I have been staying here for years If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I’m sure!We got locked out of the parking garage (which btw, please never park in if you are not a hotel guest) Kyle went above and beyond to help us exit the garage that had closed without warning, when we weren’t even hotel guests True human kindness does exist

My son was visiting DC for the day in preparation for a college internship he was just offered While there he had a medical emergency and ended up in the hospital Since he was released in the evening I booked him a stay at the Westin

He walked from the hospital to the hotel and arrives at 9:45 pm The front desk clerk refused to check him in because he was not 21 Even after my son tried explaining what had occurred and why he needed a place to stay The clerk at the front desk told him it was hotel policy and that there was liquor in the mini fridge I understand hotels have policies but employees have autonomy to make decisions that make sense My son was there alone He didn’t look like he was partying, and still had the medical wristband from the hospital As a parent we worry that when our children are away they are safe I’m very disappointed in the Westin for making my son have to call around and walk late at night to another hotel who was generous enough to allow him to book a stay at their hotel Thank you Hilton

Came to DC for a conference for 3 nights When we checked in, the staff at the front desk was very nice and understanding Lobby felt very luxurious and relaxing, and I stayed there for at least 3 hours just resting during the entire trip

The room was nice, it was decently spacious and the TV displayed a welcome screen greeting me Beds were comfortable, but I did find a hair or two under the blankets which was personally a bit sickening, but the other bed was fine so maybe it was just my luck Occasionally on the tables, walls, chairs, etc, there was a visible decay/wear and tear on them Another issue was that at nighttime, the room was always dark even though every single light was on However I don’t know if this applies to any other rooms Bathroom was also decent, with the typical complimentary shampoo/soap/conditioner you would find at any other hotel The shelves and such in the bathroom also had the same wear and tear I described earlier The windows for all the rooms have a sticker on it that shows you a “iconic location” near the hotel and how many steps away it is, which is a fun addition For breakfast, the hotel offers food at the Cabinet which is reached by going down a short escalator located in the lobby The waiters and other staff were nice, and did their job well There is a buffet in the Cabinet and it offered plenty of delicious food choices For dinner they serve food at the Cure Bar and Bistro, which is another nice restaurant Food was good, staff was nice, and place was cleanI know it sounds odd, but trust me when I say that the entire hotel smelled so good As soon as we entered it had a strong sort of fruity/exotic smell and it was just really pleasant It made you want to stay for longerWhen I checked out, the same lady that helped is check in was again very niceThe best part about this hotel is probably the location It’s located very close to Chinatown and to metro stations, and it’s decent walking distance away from popular tourist locations and other attractions For example, if you wanted to go to the zoo you could just walk to the nearest metro station for like 2 minutes, get a ticket, ride for at most 10 minutes, get off and walk to the zoo entrance for 10 minutesOverall this hotel is pretty good, would recommend if you are staying in the area for short vacations/business trips

The Grand Hyatt is a very large hotel near Chinatown, just a couple blocks from Capital One Arena They have a covered car pull through if you are arriving by car which is nice in case of bad weather but can get a bit busy as it doesn’t seem anyone really is directing people Once inside the check in desk is to the left rear of the very large lobby

The front desk staff is very nice and efficient We were able to get checked in very quickly and able to get to our room with ease The elevators are at the back of the lobby There were about 6 elevators so you don’t have to wait long to catch one The room is very spacious and very comfortable with a very nice sitting chair as well as a desk We had a king bed and it was very comfortable, though one extra pillow would have been nice as there were three pillows so if there are two people both could have two The bathroom is nice as well with good shower with perfect amount of water pressure One thing you will notice is that in the hallways and lobby areas they are pumping a scent through the ventilation system While I found it very nice others may be turned off by it Overall it was a good hotel in a great location

Melissa Marie

Great hotel location and close to major tourist areas and shopping Room was a little dirty in places, but nothing major The bathroom mirror still had water spots

Desk was dusty and chair had crumbs in it The shower head was not adjustable and shoots straight out instead of downward You may not get told at check in what the amenity fee includes If you ask, they will give you a paper, so you will know what you are entitled to There is a Starbucks and restaurant inside the hotel Hotel serves breakfast for free if you are a high level Hyatt member or you can pay for it The gift shop offers a variety of items, not just souvenirsSelf parking garage is also connected to hotel It costs $45/day with no in and out privileges Valet is $62/day, but does include unlimited in and out The garage elevator goes straight up to hotel lobby The Metro station is in basement area of hotel and easily accessible to get to and from hotel Staff was super friendly

I stayed at the Conrad DC for a weekend and I was thoroughly impressed When I first arrived the valet, bellhop and the check in staff were all extremely friendly, and professional They made me and my family feel extremely welcome

At check in the staff recognized my Diamond status and gave me a room on a high floor with a beautiful view of the park When we first arrived, there were minor issues but Rebekah Roberts (hands down the best staff member we encountered) was extremely helpful The room and hotel were clean, modern, and spacious I will definitely not hesitate to stay at the Conrad the next time I’m visiting DC

This is our very first time staying here Lovely customer service, the rooms are very clean and comfortable We had a corner room it was really nice

Bathrooms are literally stunning The lotion and soaps are of top quality The gym was awesome no one there and pretty good size for hotel gym——Oh yea the estuary is incredible food, order up or sit in – they do require mask in common areas and upon walking in to check in… I didn’t have a mask on the front desk person gently politely offered me a mask…… I mentioned to my wife how nice he was … having had very rude experiences in this matter this was a welcomed attitude If I could give this hotel 10 stars ⭐️ I’d do it We plan to look for a reason to stay here in the future 😀👍🏾

Conrad’s Washington DC establishment represents the pinnacle of luxury, class, and wonderful service

Not only were my most pressing needs attended to, but they were taken care of by a staff that proved how much they wanted me to enjoy my experience even for an albeit short stay The room was clean, neat, and tidy as evidenced by the TV remote placement in it’s little home, among other elements of the room The bathroom allowed me to wind down and prepare for my day with ease and comfort, something you never often receive in even the highest class of hotels Overall, I couldn’t imagine placing my head on any other pillow except a Conrad DC one, I will surely recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking to visit our nation’s capitol

I’ve stayed in hotels all around the world and this is my favorite Front staff was friendly and sociable Check-in was easy

Free happy hour in the evening High vault ceilings in the rooms, which are well decorated Large full mirror in the rooms and little things like the jewelry box, umbrella, yoga mat, exotic animal print robes and natural soap make a big difference Only disappointment was the view from my window
