I had an absolutely wonderful time staying here at Latitude 26! I stayed here in October with 2 friends The staff were all very personable, friendly and more than willing to help with any request The amenities were unlike any hotel I had stayed at anywhere else

Gas BBQ grill, gas flat top grill, outdoor gas fire tables just to name a few all of which we used with zero problem! The pool was phenomenal and the view at the back of the property was amazing as well! I HIGHLY recommend staying here if you’re ever visiting Ft Myers! The location is just minutes away from “Times Square” and several entrances to the beach!

We booked a night here and I have to say it was the most breathtaking fantastic get away I’ve ever had! The second we walked into our room the view had us in awe The beach literally lit up the entire room, and the amenities were so clean and inviting Every detail of this hotel made our stay so special

The staff was super friendly and welcoming as well We will definitely be back and recommend to everyone!!

Richard Garcia

I liked this place because it is right on the beach, the views are beautiful from the rooms and it also has a pool in case you don’t like spending too much time on the beach I didn’t like the water pressure from the shower and faucets in general, horrible pressure The hotel doesn’t have any activities, is just you and the beach

It is located in a good place full of restaurants and music but you have to walk there No bars in the hotel!

I stayed at Edison Beach House for 11 days I had an excellent experience here 1

Right on the beach 2 Parking included 3 The price with all the features beats the rest 4 The “downtown” of Estero Island is just on the other side of public parkingsuper convenient 5 Full kitchen with all you need included 6 Washer & Dryer in the room 7 The view was amazing 8 The staff was great and I didn’t catch her name but the blonde lady who did maintenance was super friendly and very attentive If I go back to Fort Myers without a doubt this will be the only place I’d want to stay! Thanks for a great vacation!

The pool area was clean and nicely maintained No hot tub The room was clean and bed was comfortable

The pull out sofa bed was old and extremely uncomfortable The cushions sagged We had to purchase a foam mattress topper to make it able to be slept on Overall the stay was enjoyable We liked the location convenient to Sanibel and the excellent diner restaurants within walking distance to the property Good lower cost alternative close to the beaches without paying premium prices for a beachfront hotel

Margie Lieto

This hotel has the most professional, friendliest, courteous employees you could ever ask for I encountered at least a dozen during my stay One more pleasant than the next

The general manager is excellent You can see how she cares about her hotel guests and her employees Breakfast was wonderful and a different selection each day Pool is beautiful and clean Hotel and rooms are clean Do not ever go to the Holiday Inn express which is right next door They have the rudest employees, the Holiday inn express is dirty, when you walk in you are not welcomed Hampton inn and suites fort myers beach fl will give you a happy, memorable experience I will stay at the Hampton inn and suites again for sure!!

Chuck Stanford

GROSS!! If we weren’t so tired from traveling today we would have left immediately The room was dirty, the bathroom was filthy, the tub would not drain out, the walls are paper thin, the power went out momentary but came back on Totally not recommended! Go next door to the Holiday Inn Express for the same price! That is where we will be tomorrow night

(The only nice thing we can say is the guy checking us on was very friendly)

We were so pleased with our stay! We went on a family vacation and had no clue what to do and where to stay Our stay was great, clean rooms, friendly staff

they gave us great recommendations for family stuff to do in the area! I thought it was weird the bathroom door didn’t have a lock on it but that’s was minor We would absolutely stay here again!

Pamela F

If you have children & are planning to stay a couple of days, then I’d say you can “tough it out” The pool/sun tanning area in the back courtyard is perfect for kids & adult relaxation (no lifeguard) It’s updated & has lots of “curb appeal’

But if you’re a couple & want a better or upgraded experience, this may not be the hotel for you No central air Their units work, but not at optimal performance The room is musty & damp The rug never seems to be 100% dry I think the filters need to cleaned or replaced Mattress too “sunk-in” Staff friendly Excellent parking (front & rear)

Susie

Our morning flight was canceled and we quickly booked a room at the Crowne Plaza Ft Myers at Bell Towers Megan, at the front desk, was extremely helpful and understanding

She held our bags and let us know as soon as our room was ready (way ahead of check in time) Restaurant staff and housekeeping/maintenance staff were also helpful and courteous Nice workout facility and pool This is a great location with plenty of things to do to fill a day of unexpected down time

Donna

Excellent from check in to check out Vicky at guest services was more than accommodating John the bellman was extremely helpful when we extended our stay and changed our room

Nicole from housekeeping made sure our room was clean and had fresh towels Kevin and Randy from the bar made sure we were taken care of while we spent time relaxing down by the pool Updated, clean rooms Beautiful gulf view Easy access to the beach Before we left we made sure to book our next stay! We loved it!

Rebekah Owens

The location is perfect, the views from the room are beautiful Access to the beach is extremely convenient However, our stay this time was a little disappointing

The room was not that clean unfortunately Someone’s hair was all over the pillows in the bedroom Maintenance had to come and fix one of the TVs The toilet constantly ran The tile floors in the room were dirty with some film, so we had to wear socks while in the room The bed was beyond firm, it was hard We asked if maybe there was a pillow top to place on the mattress but they did not have any The front desk was kind enough to offer another comforter instead We were there for two nights and on the second night the inside restaurant was closed which is fine, however the bar and outside restaurant closed at 6pm So pretty much everything in the hotel shut down at 6pm The bar staff were unapologetic Not very convenient when you’re paying the rates they are asking for

Marlys Battema

Everything was great We did not go to the pool but it did not look particularly clean Beach chair and umbrella set up was great

I did not rate service 5 stars because the bar closed at 8 pm which seemed a little early and room service for food was only on certain days Also no cleaning service in the rooms They did have a towel exchange system that worked well If you set the trash out in the hall someone picked it up Maybe they are working around staffing limitations We would come back for another vacation

Love this place!! We have stayed here twice now and it’s been perfect both times: impeccably clean rooms, delicious bountiful breakfast, and super nice staff Beautiful new building and rooms! Easy and friendly check in and check out Very centrally located but a vehicle is definitely necessary

I’m so confused by all of the negative reviews; the breakfast provided is hot eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, gravy, and cinnamon buns Also, oatmeal, cereal, muffins, and yogurt, this is plenty in my opinion?! There is definitely a lot of waste as a result of the plastic utensils and plates, but this is probably due to the Covid silliness We brought our own reusable utensils and cups to reduce waste And yes the pool closes at sunset, deal with it! It’s probably an insurance thing like everything these days If you’re looking for a clean, well-priced convenient hotel, book this Holiday Inn Express! Will stay again!

Tara Kysar

Very nice motel Close to everything we needed We stayed 6 nights and they gave 2 washcloths and 2 towels for 3 people

Since no house keeping, which is fine with me, I think they need to give at least half the stay amount of washcloths and towels for each guest They were quick to give more when we asked Pool is small and they should put out at least two more lounge chairs There’s only 2 right nowwould stay here again

Denise Lester

the location Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ft Myers Beach-Sanibel Gateway, an IHG Hotel was Super clean and brand new Our bathroom was spotless and the rugs throughout are brand new 83

22 Our breakfast was great, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy Muffins, hot cinnamon rolls and great coffee, along with the basics of cold cereal and oatmeal and fruit The only reason I did not give this 5 stars was due to the pool area which is rather small New and clean, but small, but it did do the trick after a hot day at the beach!

I’m going to give the truth the great, good, bad and ugly on this spot:This is a very unique hotel but I definitely would say it’s a stretch from calling it a “resort” If you are looking for an old Florida beach borderline roughing it feel this is the right one! Having said that, our entire family has had an absolute blast here !! When you pull up it’s full of color and vibrancy, but take care In knowing the parking is extremely tight and Precarious Back up cameras are a must! You will immediately be Greeted by loud and I mean LOUD party music going late into the night that you will not escape the entire time you are here

Again if you have the mindset of wanting to party this place is for you! If you want to relax in calm surroundings-stay far away I will say that once you get into your room you can’t hear it as much and you get used to it after a while Inside the room it’s extremely basic, not much seating, I would bring extra if you can and bring extra towels and blankets, the rooms are freezing! We were pleasantly surprised At how clean it was! The service from the staff is great as well as room service and quality of food , top notch !! Location seriously cannot be beat as well as price ! I’m giving it less than 5 because once you are here you will see they are just being lazy about alot of things that would make your stay more comfortable while pushing the Florida beach party vibe as their top priority If you keep this in mind you will have an amazing time here!

Luna’s Urban Homestead

This hotel is excellent If you are looking for a 5 – 6 star hotel and complain about this hotel, shame on you it is not thatThis place is family and budget friendly

The place is super cute It has an excellent location Some rooms are old and some new Super fun poolsMost rooms have balconiesThe only reason I did not award 5 stars is because of the cleanliness of the room itself and some other details Room for improvement for sureI will definitely come back and next time with my family

Hotel is in a great location Every room has a view of the water and beautiful beach There was not however, a local bar, discounted beach loungers, or adult only time for the pool

The pool is heated, this is a necessary luxury if you plan on using it no matter what time of year The hotel staff were very accommodating with few things we asked for Breakfast is the average 4/10 free hotel breakfast as in any hotel The building and grounds are well taken care of and are comfortably welcoming This hotel is a mature adult hotel much different from some a half of a mile away Would recommend!

KaSondra Giardina

This hotel is excellent The staff was friendly and outstanding The free breakfast buffet was good, had lots of variety, and we loved it

The pool has the most amazing view of the beach whether you’re in the pool or on the pool deckThe rooms were laid out very nicely, had a good sized balcony and the most gorgeous amazing views! They were also clean, and bug free The kitchen was a nice addition, but the hotel also has a filtered water dispenser and provided a pitcher in the room- which I thought was an excellent bonus! There was always ice available in the machines – it never ran out and the ability to do laundry and not fly home with stinky clothes was niceOur entire family absolutely loved this place and we can’t wait to go back!

Beckey Rickett

Overall it was pretty good We enjoyed our little weekend away However, there are some things that need improvement

We were on the 5th floor and the palm trees blocked over half of our balcony view The landscaping is pretty, but we want to see the beach! Definitely need to trim them up Breakfast was pretty good, but it says that Breakfast is open til 10:30 We went down at 10:02 and the lady told us they weren’t putting more food out because it was almost closing time

Lovely hotel, mostly hospitable staff (they do kick you out of the pool/hot tub AT 10PM – they are not playing! LOL), nice breakfast offerings, comfy bed/couch/rolling chair w coffee table & desk in room

Only real complaints are no fan in bathroom & no seating @ smoking areas8/10 recommend – good pricing for how nice it is

Lisa Metcalfe

Friendly, welcoming staff in lovely, quieter, just-off-the-main-road location Pleasant pool/hot tub area with umbrella table seating and soft background music as well There are disposable ear phones, filtered water and sanitizer in the well-equipped fitness center–Love the fish tank in lobby! Dining service was fantastic and the grilled, 4-cheese grilled sandwich with tomato/basil soup was perfect😋

Wallace Myers

Highly recommend! I travel often and this is one of the best hotels in this price point Many hotels still do not have Netflix and other streaming service capabilities in room tv and this hotel has that and cable The gym is above average for a hotel gym

The staff is extremely friendly and welcoming and everyone seems super happy to be working here with lots of positivity Lastly, the place is spotless The hotel lobby is constantly being cleaned and wiped down The rooms are extremely clean and comfortable I have stayed here on 2 separate occasion while traveling for work for a total of 6 nights Definitely will stay again if in the area!

Mason Jarvis #4

I agree the rooms are a bit outdated but the location to everything makes up for that The bars, restaurants, and entertainment was excellent The bartenders and waitresses were amazing each day and night

The Sundeck was our favorite place, Jeremy took amazing care of us The drinks were strong and came as quick as you needed them The view was great The beach was clean and nice Walking distance to other bars and restaurants Will be back for sure

Lourdes Morales

Great location Food and drinks are really expensive However, you will find affordable prices within a short walk

Rooms need TLC (dirty drapes and walls) and the noise level is way too high past midnight Yes, music from 8 pm to 12 am However, the lack of consideration by guests is beyond words Either too drunk or really don’t care about anyone else Be aware of the additional taxes imposed in addition to the beach resort and state tax Bed Tax? Really? There is only one shower in the pool area We were trying to minimize the amount of sand coming into the resort (elevator, hallway, and room) If you want to feel like you are on spring break all the time, go for it

Lindsey Freitag

This is a ‘young people’ resort with a 5 star restaurant on the top floor Amazing music played at night by a live band Definitely not a place for kids or people who want quiet and relaxation

More a party crowd, which is fine because that is what some people go on vacation for Rooms were very clean Staff was amazing and on point Only wish is that I knew about this place when I was younger!!

First time staying at this resort and it definitely will not be my last! Every room has a beautiful balcony view of the Gulf of Mexico 🇲🇽 😍, the rooms were spacious! Definitely enough breathing space for a family of four although I was here on a company award trip along with 20+ other co-workers (no kids) and we had a blast!! Great place to vacation for singles, couples and those with kids! Make sure to eat at Bongos which is one of the restaurants on property and have their Grouper sandwich That was my first time having Grouper and it was amazing 😋 You will not be disappointed staying here!

Mary Cris Baralla

Our stay at The Pink Shell Resort was an excellent break from winterOcean front, gorgeous pool areas, beautiful bar and restaurant, excellent service and very well appointed rooms We stayed in Gulf front room on the fourth floor and the views and sound from the beach were splendid! Beyond the relaxing atmosphere of the room, the next best part was the fantastic food and excellent service at the Restaurant

The complimentary breakfast are the best as well The staff was very attentive, professional and friendly Mercy was wonderful and very friendly A very fun vacation for our anniversary

Monica Grater

We loved our stay at the Pink Shell! The resort is kept very clean and everything is super convenient Three beautiful pools and their own private beach provide for endless fun They have their own water sport rental station that provides kayaks, paddle board, jet ski rentals and more

Our room had the most beautiful view and was very clean Breakfast was included and was very good They have a few different places to eat and all were great We also opted for a private dinner on the beach one night and it was one of the highlights of our stay All of the staff members were so kind and happy and made the stay even more enjoyable We highly recommend the Pink Shell and will be back!

Courtney

Loved the 2 bedroom room, plenty of space, full kitchen, and was quiet We enjoyed breakfast each day and service was friendly No issues with the location either

My only complaint was the ac in the room it never felt cool and the room always felt “damp” like The carpet could definitely be replaced One of the bathrooms water pressure wasn’t the greatest or “hot” which wasn’t a problem for me since I just used the other shower But might be issue for bigger families that stay there I didn’t complain since we were only there couple of days and was doable Overall the stay went well

Joel Webb

Breakfasts are top notchRooms were spacious and modernLobby had small meeting nooks, a large breakfast area, outdoor pool, and a great workout facility

Outside exterior was being painted at the time, but construction wasn’t disturbing to residentsHotel is close to the beachAquarium in the lobby is nice touch alsoDidn’t hear any noise from neighbors or upstairs/downstairsOnly negative issue is we found a live huge cockroach in our unitInternet Speed test came in at 461Mbps

Svenja X

We really loved our room: lots of space, cozy beds, a cute kitchenette with even a dishwasher! The staff also was very friendlyBUT: our toilet absolutely did not work Whenever we used it it got clogged! We went to the reception and maintenance fixed it twice after every time we used it

We then stopped using it because apparently something is wrong with the pipes Having a room with no functioning toilet really isn’t something I was expecting from Marriott! The other problem was the breakfast: very poor choices, usually some things were already gone no matter when you came to eat I would’ve expected more from that as well

Casa Playa is in a great location Halfway between Bowditch and the pier We stayed in a beachfront studio and it was perfect for the 2 of us

The view from the screened in balcony is wonderful Getting to the beach is an elevator ride and short walk The chairs and umbrellas for guest use are definitely a plus! The pool is great, too!

Many good things to say! Most notable is the pool and cabana area, wasn’t expecting that! I let my lovely wife pick this spot and I’m glad she did We booked our room with Katie she’s amazing, and Rob is rockstar who made it a point to show us to our kayaks Brittany brought us extra towels when we went over to the pool! And last but not least the owner sent us an email and thanked us for our stay! That’s what hospitality is all about, outstanding! Thank you!

OMG! First thing, Bonny! The sweetest host! She was kind and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed We extended our stay 2 extra nights because we loved this place so much and herSecond thing, Rooms! Spacious, modern, cute, clean and comfortable

Beach vibes! No complaints about the rooms! We moved rooms when we extended our stay and both rooms were incredible (19 & 3) 3 was our favorite I brought my 2 year old and she was comfy as well and we werent crowded Plenty of space for our things and even a little table to sit and eat TVs had hulu, netflix and disney plus Microwave and fridge Breakfast was every morning and it was nice, coffee was good The hotel is on the water and is peaceful and quiet But also next to a nice bar and restaurant&& Third, Amenities Bikes, kayaks, beach chairs you can use for free Which was awesome when we decided to head to Sanibel The chairs by the water have a fire pit that was easy to use and modern and perfect for winding down at night Grill was great and lounge area was so tropical and nice!! 🌴 pool area was clean and nice A little warm but id rather that then it be too cold! Nice beach chairs to lay in and fenced in which was nice for the kid! No kid pool but it wasn’t needed for usSafe to say I would stay here again and again And for the price, (we got a pretty good deal) it was nicer than any other hotel in the area

Katie at the desk is the sweetest girl and she gave us the warmest welcome We were leaving too early in the morning to board the key west Express to enjoy the complimentary breakfast and she voluntarily gave us plenty of breakfast snacks she had to give and showed us the free bicycles to enjoy as well as kayaks to go out on the harbor All complimentary! No additional fees ! The sunset was gorgeous that afternoon as well

Stacey was friendly, courteous, and very accommodating by giving me a room with handrails in the bathroom as requested She was willing to change rooms if I wasn’t pleased with the room but it was just as I needed She was also helpful in getting me checked in for a second night when I decided to extend my stay

Good customer service! Also kudos to the breakfast staff person who was very sweet and friendly

My husband and I were in town just overnight, to attend his Mom’s viewing and funeral service The room was clean and in order when we entered Upon return that evening we were exhausted, so we immediately showered and hit the bed

The bed closest to the window is where we slept, and used the other bed to throw our bags and lay out our clothing Not long after after trying to sleep the AC kicked LOUDLY on! if you had your back to the window, you’d freeze from the air blowing directly at your backWe got up and switched to the other bed! Then the mini-fridge kicked into another LOUD rant! I literally slept with my buds in, to drown out the noise Thank God it was just a one night stay If not, I would have changed hotels There were plenty in the areaThe next morning, we were downstairs for breakfast at about 6:30am Again, the area was clean and in order Just not a very palatable breakfast I had those eggs that you know are not natural, with sausage links Both might as well have been made out of paper Or at least, that’s how they tastedMy hotel preference is the Hilton Network This was just not up to the Hilton standard!

Editing from 3 down to 2 stars: When I called about the missing items, there was no apology or promise to follow-up with housekeeping staff That didn’t feel so great And as you can see from the reply to this review, they don’t even care to address problems

Will be choosing an alternative next time we’re in townFront desk staff were very nice This was a decent stay You can easily hear people in rooms next to you so I recommend ear plugs to help you sleep I left some clothes hanging behind the bathroom door and I was very disappointed that they somehow disappeared later on when I realized and called them No name brand clothes, but clothes I rely on for work I travel here a lot for work and am a member with them but this makes me reconsider choosing them in the future
