Stayed at this campground during off season The 4 nights we stayed, 1 of the two bathroom stalls in mens bathroom remained clogged with stool No one cleaned bathrooms the entire stay

2 of three clothes dryers officially broke, the third, the staff stated they weren’t sure if it worked or not Change machine not working The only positive thing isThe campground is convenient to local stores

Leigh Williams

We called late on a Saturday afternoon for an overnight reservation and immediately reached a person in the office We were put in a pull through site long enough for us to not have to disconnect, which is what we wanted Women’s bathroom was clean enough

The fenced dog walk needed some work as my husband thought there was some poison ivy/sumac in it The cover from the electric box was on the ground (not attached to box) The dumpster near the dump station had room We were in a site near the bathhouse/office; interstate noise wasn’t bad It is a reasonable place for an overnight stay but not a vacation destination

Ryker Stayton

If you want a decent place to park your mobile home, or camper for the night then this is the place, but don’t expect much else The bathrooms were clean, and if you have a kid, and they are tired of being inside, there are a couple benches, and a playground for them to go to But the internet was practically non-existent, and it was a decently sized walk to the one dumpster

But what can you really expect, it’s not like it’s a five star hotel, it serves its purpose, and that’s what matters

The lady that checked us in was nice She said to just pick out a tent spot We are staying for a week and on our third day the man that owns the place asked us to move our tent so the RVs could have the power hook up,the power was all the same

I was asking him which spot he wanted us to move in cause we had to have power and he got really rude and started cussing and told us if we didn’t move to get the f out We was not rude to him at all Other then that issue the place is nice and quiet Bathroom is small for guys and only one toliet and shower, Far away from tent site

Great place! We have been staying here for 3 months while we are developing some property Dave, the owner is so accommodating and super friendly, he is there if you need anything

You have everything you need nearby including Damn Yankees which is the best place to eat for miles! If you stay here, you must eat thereTRUST ME! Quiet place Clean and super convenient to I-20

Audrey Stillman

Great for an overnight stay and the bar/restaurant on property was definitely an added bonus!! Dave, the owner, as well as the RV/restaurant staff was very friendly and helpful…warm southern hospitality new to RVing but this was our most enjoyable stay on a cross country trip because of the nice people we met

will definitely be back!!

Stopped here for the night The road in is not maintained & has deep rutsThe lot is behind the owners restaurant which is clearly the actual business

RV parking is cash only which they don’t tell you when you call ahead but, credit card is ok for the restaurant 🤔 The RV lot is mud & gravel Our spot had sewer & water on one side & electrical on the other Had to pull the power cord under rig Was convenient to interstate & gas but has no amenities at all Ok in a pinch for quick stop

After viewing hotels on line for this much needed weekend escape, I chose this one, due to the many exceptional reviews  I had a great experience with HOTEL FINIAL The staff was incredibly helpful, check in was a breeze, and the amenities were great

The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect for this weekendThe main provision, “what can I SAY? It was dressesd immaculately, beautifully designed, and very impressive for historic view There was a young lady who enhanced our knowledge on the hotel and its historic foundation I would suggest anyone to this spot without any equivocations

This hotel is excellent! My husband and I stayed for a night and I had booked a room online Once we arrived at the property, I inquired about upgrading to one of the suites if they were available The staff was incredibly helpful and we were fortunate enough to be able to upgrade to an adorable suite! It is a stand alone structure within the hotel buildings

So beautiful!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and only wished we had stayed longer 10/10 recommend staying here!!

(Wow Kristen, rant much)-I’ve been to a lot of hotels, and my fair share of very nice ones including the Ritz Carlton This place, by far, is the most beautiful place I’ve ever stayed(I say that largely because of the old 1800s feel

but you know, with running water and electricity) We stayed in the house(MANSION) part of the hotel, in the room on the very top floor(I can’t remember the name of the room) The room took up almost the entire third floor The room was incredibly well done, very modern updates and design but all of the old house style and structure are apparent They worked around it, and accented it beautifully It had a large bedroom with a TV, and an adjoining office room with surrounding windows And a full bathroom with a super clean shower The living room was large with a TV, and has a dining room with a beautiful view and a tiny reading nook which was just the cutest thing ever, plus another huge bathroom (tiny kitchen but that’s why waffle house is down stairs 😤jkdon’t do itmy tummy hurts) The overall interior of the whole hotel was stunning, a lot of windows and floors and wood was original 1800s Also there is a super sweet hotel cat that will just melt your heart And a super sweet hotel worker who’s name I unfortunately forget, but her 2 cats and 2 dogs are super cute and her knowledge of the place was impressive She deserves a raise, and that antique couch she wants Oh, and it was only $200?????? I mean?????? 40/10 would recommend

Searched for pet friendly hotels but with not a lot of luck with offering more than one dog and most were for SMALL dogs Found this place, called and spoke with Rick, who was very pleasant, told me we could bring our dogs for a small price extra(which, no big deal, I expected to pay a fee) and reserved our room We got into the town and checked in with no issues

Room was clean, even had the air on for us Sleep Inn definitely has my business, especially when we bring our 2 dogs

My Elderly Mother used this establishment on her way to Florida She was checked in by ‘the new girl’ ie She was double charged for both the room and the $150 security payment

Long story short: over-charged by well over $400 (one night stay) We were given assurances by a more than helpful and professional managereven given documented proof of the error Unfortunately, ‘We screwed up’ letters do not pay the bills and my elderly mother is now in a VERY uncomfortable financial position My bank does not see any attempt to make matters better, and we’ll probably spend Lord knows how long to correct the error But it’s pretty safe to say this has ruined my Mothers whole trip There’s no way to really make this ‘right’ at this point If you live social security check to social security check, PLEASE avoid this place all together

Renee Nae

Awful The room smelled of musty cigarette smoke and was very damp and humid The carpet was wet and nearly every outlet cover plate was broken

The towel hook in the bathroom was not connected to the wall, it was just stuck in the holes and the door did not close all the way Just a little issue of privacy that needs to be rectified The room was ridiculously overpricedOn the upside and hence the two stars, the food items available in the cafe for breakfast were good and fresh

Not a bad place for a nights stay Bed was too hard for my liking Room was very clean

I thought I had read it had an indoor and outdoor pool But it only has an outdoor pool that SUPER tiny Skipped the free breakfast so not sure how that was No issues and the front desk clerk was very nice I liked that it did not have carpet in the rooms

C Shel’s

I booked this hotel through Priceline The receipt stated that check in time was at 3:00 and if you didn’t check in by 9 you could possibly loose your room with no refund(if that was stated prior to payment I would have considered another hotel

) I called to see if it was possible to have an early check in The receptionist was very rude, while explaining to me that check in starts at 4:00 and they didn’t allow early check-in because guests always complain about the room not being up to par I explained to her that I was coming to Anniston for work and I needed to be at the job site by 3 and it would be after 9 when I returned I didn’t need to physically be in the room at that time I just didn’t want to lose money She finally agreed and said the earliest she would allow me to check in was 2:30 When I arrived the receptionist was very nice I don’t think it was the same person I talked to on the phone I have no complaints about the condition of the room however my room was located on the first floor near the lobby and laundry room The staff were very noisy all night long! Either they were talking loud or the carts they used to haul laundry were making a racket It sounded like all four wheels were loose I barely got any rest due to the noise The last time I looked at the clock it was 4:26 am When I finally dozed off housekeeping was beating at the door at 9:00 I told them that I was still resting The second time I told them to come back They wasted no time because between then and 11 they came back 3 more times Check out time was 12 I have no complaints with the hotel room but the staff were very inconsiderate

SND SND

Very disappointed, as soon as you walk in there is a musty/sour odor The hallways/glass throughout was completely disgusting The elevator was nasty and smelt like pot

Mold on the bottom of the shower It just didn’t feel very clean at all You could tell someone had smoked cigarettes in the room it was faint when you ran the a/c but still there The breakfast area definitely could of been maintained a little better the counters were gross Also their website mentions late checkout, we were told we didn’t have that option because they were “full” Definitely should mention those stipulations a little more openly Oh and it’s only 30 mins

The front desk staff when I checked in was great The ladies that were around the breakfast area were precious The room was great

Very nice set up and clean Stocked with the coffee, cups, and assorted toiletries in the bathroomMy one complaint is also a good thing, but the curtains block the light so well, then when I looked through this morning to check out the weather I couldn’t see for a few moments with how bright it was outside lol

Muse Satie

The hotel is located close to I-20 and near several restaurants, which made it easy to find dinner It is a bit of a maze of parking lots to drive through to get to the hotelStaff was friendly and courteous

Our room was ready and clean at check in, with the crib we asked for already in the room The TV was modern, with streaming options (Netflix and such) The beds were comfortable, the AC worked, and the bathroom was clean Breakfast was pretty good, too We won’t hesitate to stay here again, if we need to stop in the area

The Hogans

The safety, the comfort of the beds and large rooms The rooms are clean and the breakfast is good The ladies worked hard at keeping the food out like it should be

I only gave it a 3 because when we first checked in the night attendant didn’t tell us any info other than where our room was The second night she was on duty I stood at the front desk 2 times without her coming to see what I needed My husband went one time and still no one assisted us One the morning of checkout I called the front desk and no one answered The guy that was on duty that day was out smoking most of the time However, he was nice just out in front of the entrance door The first night that we were there the lobby was filled with a group of folks drinking beer all night The hotel has no bar but they brought their own I have no problem with drinking however there is a place A lobby is not the place The girl that was on day shift on Friday was nice and available at the desk The cleaning crew cleaned well and the breakfast staff the same The bathtub and sink took forever to drain as well I would have given a 5 if not for the issues that were mentioned Keep in mind it doesn’t take long for a nice hotel to get a bad reputation I think we might try the Hilton next time I hate to give ratings like this especially to a hotel as comfy as this one
