Recently spent a week here whilst on holiday in DenverVery good experience from start to finishGreat location just outside the centre, definitely need a car to get around

As I was staying for a longer period, the hotel kindly waived the daily $15 parking feeI was also upgraded to a larger room with a kitchen area which was most welcomePleasant and helpful staff throughout, from the reception to the house keeping teamWould not hesitate to stay again if nearby

Brockman Group

The hotel is nice, our room was comfortable and roomy enough for 4 people The only downside was the maid service We had to ask to get our room cleaned several times

They didn’t change our sheets, we had to always ask for additional towels, (there was 4 people in the room, we needed more towels), and when they did clean they didn’t clean the floors very well If the cleaning issue could get resolved in the future, this would be a great place to stay

Phil Camp

Zero complaints, easy booking and check-in, clean, comfortable room with all the amenities (mini-fridge, safe, iron & board, hair dryer, etc), good pillow selection and comfortable bed, nice finishes If I needed to reach for a complaint it might be low ceilings in the entry & bathroom

The location is quiet, the restaurant and bar are solid The prices and food are decent Overall good value, service and experience

Overall, I definitely recommend this place! It was in a nice side of town, rooms were clean, it was quite at night, beautiful mountain view and was conveniently near the freeway so easy access I don’t eat the food at hotels but if anyone does and it was part of there bad review, common sense this is a 3 star hotel not a luxury resort so just drive to Denver and eat some good food or drive 1 min to the Einstein bagel place literally down the street I love that the staff did not come to our room because we had all our stuff out

This made me feel more comfortable since we were not in our hotel room the majority of the time If you need something just pick up the phone and request it They will gladly bring it to you (its not that hard)Con:I (Hispanic woman) went to see if we could check in early as it was 1:50 pm(check in was at 3 pm) and I was not greeted kindly and was told no I have to wait till 3 pm because they did not have some kind of list yet The girl then turned back to the other female employee and began chatting again The attitude of the employee could be better on how to speak to guest About 2:20 pm, my husband (white male) went in to go check in and they gave him a room right away with no issues I think the proper way to speak to a guest is maybe saying “Sorry I do not have the list of clean rooms yet, but you may check back in about 20-30 minutes if you would like” You shouldn’t judge a book by its cover (I have tattoo sleeves on both arms) I am actually a nurse who knows how people should communicate and the girl I interacted with needed a few training courses I have bad days to but I do not talk to my patients like they are annoying me or bothering me the way I felt when speaking to this employeeHowever, this would not stop me from staying here again but I will just make sure to send my husband in from the start I never saw the employee afterwards so that made my 6 year anniversary getaway that much better! This place really is a good place to stay besides my interaction with the employee and I would def recommend this place to others

One star? Stayed 3 nights On third night discovered you didn’t need the key card to enter our room! Darn thing was broken Elevator, ice machine, office printer, external door card reader, all broken! The good? Great breakfast, location with a mountain view, heated pool and hot tub

Clean Not so quiet as the construction is wood You hear the people above you thumping as they walk on their floor Poor sound damping You won’t get smart staying at this HI Express!

I accidentally left a small clear plastic box next to the coffee pot in room 114 on the side table June 2nd when checking out The coffee pot wouldn’t work on top of the microwave so I moved it, the plug in was bad I had to stay at the hotel because I was moving to a new apartment, I got divorced in October last year and have had to rent a room with roomates so that I could pay off bills from our marriage

The plastic box was a gift from my daughter containing my favorite pearl jewelry from my dad who passed away two years ago May 15, a bracelet made by my daughter when she was four and the earrings she gave me every year since for Mother’s Day Some silver and gold necklaces, earrings and rings from my mom when I turned 50 and a gold cross my daughter bought for me with her first paycheck working as a courtesy clerk So sad that who ever cleaned or went into the room thought that they could take it I called the hotel and it was not in the room or in the lost and found What happened to good honest people? My mom and I stayed there for two nights when my daughter graduated I even gave the front reception lady flowers from the store I’m so disappointed Please give me back my precious jewelry

I could say nothing bad about this hotel The service is excellent and compares to no other The staff is friendly, always smiling, and very helpful

The meeting space is elegant and the food quality during the meetings was the best that I can remember having I experienced a medical issue while staying here and all of the staff showed compassion and empathy for my situation The beds were comfy and room was spacious with a great view of Downtown Denver I’ll definitely be back to stay here in the future

Nataleigh Maestas

I love this hotel Most of my clients stay here and we have great seating and places to meet They do not have many vegan options and will put a olive with blue cheese in your martini, beware! I left my earbuds on the bar (the martinis are great)

Noticed, I had forgotten them and quickly called Spoke to the front desk who told me they found them Thank god, they are quite expensive Front desk said they would have them at the desk with my name When I returned they were nowhere to be found They took my name and said they will call if they find them I just find it disappointing that they would (in their care) get stolen Just glad it was not jewelry Be careful…

We booked and paid the hotel through our CC rewards program which made the the check in process quick and efficient The guest service rep was friendly and professional We stayed in a king size room

The room was spacious and clean, although the walls are thin, so request a room away from the elevators We also included daily breakfast during our stay which actually turned out quite good It was a real breakfast that one can order from the regular menu Overall we enjoyed our experience at the Holiday Inn

Jeanne

Stayed for 1 night Exceptional customer service from the guy at the front desk He was very polite and gave us very detailed instructions

It’s been a while since I’ve had service that good In addition, the rooms were extremely clean I highly recommend this location and would come back 😁 I wish every place would follow this example!

I LOVE THIS HOTEL!! YOUR TEAM GOES ABOVE AND BEYOND!! What that tells me about management is your doing it right!! Very amazing experience, one upset employee lashing out at the others and when I tell you this team held their composure I mean it, something you can only gain from years of customer service and it showed I would of punched the jerk in his chops! Y’all handled it like champs!!! I should mention the food here is awesome to! Definitely coming back!!

I had a quick business trip and spent 2 days, 1 night holed up at this hotel Location is fantastic as it it near some really nice bars/restaurants I really liked the vibe of the hotel

It is in an historic building and very tastefully decorated My room was very comfortable, loved my big over sized tub, and comfortable climate control Staff was very friendly and doorman very courteous/helpful I will definitely stay here again and recommend

Nero LeGath

Beautiful hotel! The room was very comfortable and we had easy walking access to all of the hot spots downtown I would have given this 5 stars except for the fact that the staff asked us multiple times when coming to grab our keys if we were Door dash food delivery people We are on vacation and dressed casually

Open ended questions such as: ‘what can I help you with?’ would have gone a long way versus assuming we were not guests

Caryn Munnis

Last night was our first stay at The Oxford and definitely won’t be the last! When we checked in and the staff learned it was my birthday they upgraded our room for free! So sweet of them to do that! The room was so nice and roomy with lots of big windows! The bed was super comfy too! All of the employees we met were so friendly! Thank you so much for a great experience!

I love this hotelAs an architect I find the building an absolute treasure Classic and memorable in every respect

An amazing atrium – the first of its kind High tea is a good experience in the lofty space of the stained glass atrium ceiling Walk around and look closely at the detailed of the building The staircase is amazing – complete with a line showing where you’ve reached 5,380 feet about sea level Staying at the Brown is an annual affair For me it is the experience of the lobby / atrium Love itYo be fair…the restaurants are a non event Eat elsewhere Great food is to be found in Denver in small, mom and pop ethnic restaurants

Alexandra Bala

The brown palace is beautiful The historical elements are amazing and fantastic The staff was friendly and extremely helpful

The central air in our room was not working, so the ceiling fan was quite loud and it was either really hot or really cold, no in between Overall, I had a good experience We loved that they had complimentary champagne for our anniversary That was very surprising and unexpected so we really enjoyed our anniversary trip down there Overall I would return!

Kristin O’Brien

Amazing place Beautiful, historic building Staff is very helpful

Rooms were more spacious and updated than expected The shower heads in 704 and 843 were not good – showering was difficult The restaurants on site are unbelievably good Afternoon tea is an experience just to watch! Conveniently located within Denver for downtown restaurants and bars Next time, I’ll think to book the spa in advance!

The location was great Hot breakfast was amazing! Kitchenette had everything we needed to feel at home Loved the separate bedroom

Staff was so helpful The queen bed in the bedroom was so comfortable I slept great every night The only issue we had was so sorry excuse for a mattress on the sleeper sofa It was thin like a mattress topper around the edges and even thinner in the middle You could feel coils in it My daughter ended up closing it up and sleeping on the sofa each night I was surprised This place was so nice in every other area I have slept on SUPER comfortable sofa beds in hotels We have never had an issue

Kerrey Jorgensen

Great room: comfy beds, nice shower, quietLocation: centrally located with all of Denver and surrounding attractions being an half hour/90 minutes away, AMAZING view If they have mountain facing available- definitely pay the extra bitStaff: very friendly, accommodating, and informative

Kat Hanson

I’ve been a fan of Staybridge Suites for years because I feel like our family always gets a lot of room for the money This location didn’t disappoint, everything was set up great, the suite was spacious and everything was perfectly clean The one thing that I found disappointing was the evening social and breakfast offered

Both used to be AMAZING at every Staybridge Suites location we stayed at pre-covid I understand the pandemic changed a lot of things, but to be perfectly honest, it feels like the ownership has become very comfortable with a very scaled down version of both because it saves them money I found that extremely underwhelming and disappointing

New, clean, nice property All people working were very friendly and helpful Good location in downtown Denver

Just being totally forthcoming here, room size was a little on the small size, lighting was a little dark, electrical outlets were not plentiful and the biggest drawback on a work trip No desk workspace with chair which made working/prepping difficult and awkward The room would have much better if used for a non business trip Bathroom amenities were perfect, shower and water pressure were great Oh, the shampoo/conditioner/body wash containers were awkward with a large base and narrow neck which made it difficult to get the containments to actually flow in a reasonable time That can easily be improved Besides the lack of a work desk and chair, a very nice property

Jessie Anderson

Spending a glorious weekend at the Thompson for a little downtown staycation The hotel is beautiful, the furnishings and finishes all high-quality, our room (a corner King) truly is surrounded on two sides by floor to ceiling windows with a nice view of the clocktower, and is spacious and comfortable We’ve enjoyed delicious cocktails at both the lobby bar and Reynard Social, coffees from their Duel coffee bar, and a delicious treat of complimentary macarons and dark chocolate truffles sent up to our room

The staff have all been amazingly accommodating, and everything about our stay has been perfect so far Also, breakfast at Chez Maggie is totally worthwhile Possibly the best omelette I’ve had, complete with fresh greens, and they make their hash browns in a little crispy buttery cake YUM! My first bite was like a scene out of Emily in Paris You just have to try it to understand! Highly recommend the Thompson and all it’s food and beverage amenities for your next Denver stay!

Sushant Chaudhary

Our experience at The Thompson was wonderful The room was comfortable and evoked a true sense of the word “luxury” The service on the other hand, was very home-like at every step of the way

Manny and Alex were great hosts and gave excellent recommendations for food and things-to-do nearby Every random item we requested including a humidifier, hair-brush, toiletries etc were delivered to our room with utmost priority During our 4-night stay, the room would be cleaned and tidied-up in the afternoon, but without the air of ‘intrusion’ in the process Being in the heart of LoDo Denver made getting things done and exploring the city easy The several other perks that come with being a guest at the Thompson made our experience nothing short of outstanding Kudos to the ethos of the entire staff in making things hospitable for every person that walks through the front door

The prices keep going up everything I stay here but overall a beautiful hotel but again for the price rooms are small I stay here often the restaurant The narrative is pretty cool try the Moscow mules they have some good one’s Breakfast avocado toast is great

Again drinks and food are very pricey $16 a drink pretty steep The desk and room are so tight I can’t pull my chair out It runs unto the bed Again do not take this as negative I made it work And I stay here often just letting you know what your in for Gym climb machine looks awesome but has never worked since I have been coming here Valet is pricey parking on the street is pricey as well I have stayed all over the world so if I pay a high price I require the accommodations to match the prices, with service food, gym, amenities, room, and all aspects, that is why I’m being a little tough on this hotel as for the money I do expect more on all aspects The food is great and the bartender are great Again overall you won’t be disappointed unless your standards are as high as mine haha I’ll be back love it! Stop raising the prices

Ashley D

We had a good stay at the Jacquard, this June 2022 The hotel is relatively new and well maintained Like most downtown facilities, it’s hard to find parking, so the valet is a must

Overall we had a pleasant experience and the staff was accommodating The downside is that everything was too understaffed and small Three elevators struggle to keep up, the rooftop pool is a wonderful concept though it should be three times the size, along with the rooftop bar I think a lot of people who weren’t hotel guests were using the facility, and it was busting at the seams The suites are small compared to hotels outside of the downtown area On the plus side, everything is within walking distance The mall is a block away, restaurants abound everywhere and there is decent small business shopping in Cherry Creek as well Walking times to the whole area are within 10 minutes, so we never needed to move our vehicle for our entire stay

Dominic McAuliffe

I have to say, I was SERIOUSLY impressed before I even walked in the door, the valet was extremely courteous and helpful Then when I entered I was blown away by the sophisticated decor and design for the entire place The art, the flooring, the gorgeous mural painted on the 20 foot ceiling in our room! Whoever designed this place, kudos to you

The staff were exceptional to me and my family I don’t think I’ve ever met such a pleasant staff If you stay here, don’t dare hesitate not to visit the lovely restaurant by the lobby, the stunning rooftop pool/bar, or the well equipped fitness center My only complaint is that I’m terrified on automatic rotating doors hahaha Thank you for a wonderful stay!

I absolutely love staying here The location is phenomenal and the view from the suits is gorgeous I love the massive soaking tub

You can lay out completely and get yourself almost completely under water without feeling like you need to hold yourself down The bathroom is large and comfortable as well and the rain water shower head is such a nice touch The bed is extremely comfortable and the shades close to near complete darkness in the room Everything in the room is spacious and comfortable The staff is also incredibly kind and welcoming My only qualm is that the room felt like it needed a little pick me up It was clean and sanitary but the colors seemed faded and sad The little silver table in the bedroom is missing several little mirror tiles One of the sinks drained slow and the coffee maker is super loud Those are such minor things though compared to the experience though so truthfully this should be a 45 star I will most certainly stay here again and have stayed several times before

DRAFT: I just checked in earlier this afternoon I haven’t had a chance to immerse myself in & around the hotel property, but this is what I’ve got at face value so farUPDATE: 04-04-2022I just checked out this morning and must admit, I had the most enjoyable stay here at The Art Hotel Denver

The facility is clean and spotless Great maintenance and housekeeping team The front desk personnel were absolutely amazing, especially Diane & John They were so welcomed and inviting I initially had a Deluxe King Bed w/sofa Mountain View and it was very nice I then upgraded to the Capitol/Museum 1 BR Suite with a beautiful balcony overlooking the city In fact moving forward, I will select this room 831 every time I visit this property It is pricey, but well worth it I love the Hilton Brand, and I love this hotel! Highly, highly recommend

J J

I travel a pretty decent amount, and this was far and away one of the best properties I have stayed at From the valet that greeted me, to the front desk and all of the restaurant staff

they were fantastic! You have free sodas and water waiting for you in the super clean rooms (I mean, really super clean!) and they are very spacious as well There is a $20 resort fee but if you spend $20 in the restaurant, it is waived or applies to that fee, so I had a few meals to go back to my room, and when I checked out the fee was gone At dinner hour Jen, I believe is the bartender, is great to talk to while you wait, and the gal in the morning (sorry, I didn’t catch her name but she was recently a nurse that lost her job – that stuff is real – smh) and the Art was lucky to get her! She was super fun to chat with while I waited for my food In other words, they take time to get to know their guests, and the hotel was sold out while I was there so they could have gone about doing something else, but their customer service was more important and honestly, you don’t see that much anymore I’m usually awkwardly standing there looking at my phone until my order arrives, so this was a nice change for sure Also, check out all the cool artwork they have displayed around the property Just a fun, hip, customer service place to call home for a few days I told the valet I would move in there if I could It really is that good

My husband and I came to Denver for a getaway this past weekend and booked at the Ritz The staff at the front desk were extremely pleasant and helpful, but that was really to the extent of where we felt they excelled When you walk in, there isn’t a grand lobby or even really a lobby at all

There’s the restaurant to your left, a staircase, and then the “check in” area to your right Upon check in, we went directly to the elevator and up to our very average room The size was nice, but everything else was just average for any nicer hotel The wooden end tables looked worn and had some chips The table by the chaise had water rings all over it, the tub was tiny and again, it was just really average I was expecting more Elways was a nice restaurant with nice staff, and we enjoyed having a few drinks in there prior to heading out for dinner Overall, the location wasn’t in a bustling part of town and the hotel was in sort of a random spot and hard to find at first We were supposed to be there for 3 nights and ended up checking out and heading to a different hotel in Cherry Creek – that ended up being far more upscale and half the price I would not stay here again

My husband and I stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and we loved it! We enjoyed walking to vibe coffee shop and all the sites of Denver The staff was very friendly and I just have to shout out Julie in the spa She really went above and beyond to make my husband and I feel so welcomed and pampered! We are a Platinum rewards member and felt it! Our room was upgraded and we received early and late check in and out

We will definitely be back!

In town for a small business event with catering and was blown away by the warm welcome and over the top accommodation for my dietary challenges They made some amazing dishes– main course, special desserts, even drinks just for me so that I would not be left out In addition to suiting my allergies, they were completely delicious and beautiful

Rooms are spotless and every detail was attended to Confused by some knocks at my door in the early afternoon, only to find they were trying to bring me more chocolates and coffee Wonderful stay– highly recommend it for vacation or events in the Denver area

wish I could give this lodge and its staff (huge shout out to Brooks!) 6/5 stars I stumbled upon this place via happy accident with an online search and ended up choosing them to host (and help plan) my wedding ceremony and reception It was nothing short of the PERFECT day where every beautiful detail was beyond my wildest expectations

Brooks was accommodating, friendly, hardworking, and genuine And the venue itself? Beautiful and full of a unique charisma I’ve never experienced anywhere else Not to mention the delightful homemade breakfast every morningI could keep raving about all the positive charm of this venue and staff, but in an attempt at brevity: I’m so thankful for the Cliff House Lodge being a part of my dream wedding Don’t shop around any more and just choose this place for your next getaway

We stayed here in September and it was phenomenal Shakti provided lovely company and service 🐕 ❤️ the breakfast was incredible 🥞 and we had an employee (Joe I think?) Who was incredibly kind and gave us a ride since the bus was down due to COVID Overall an incredible place

It felt nice to stay somewhere that felt less manufactured and that had more personality I definitely want to go back!

Rooms were spacious and clean, beds were comfortable Great location, close to pretty much everything yet far enough away to be very quiet and restful Furniture in living area was outdated, used and old and is in need of replacement

Good breakfast selection!Other then that everything else was great

Erin Madar

One of the grossest, and definitely one of the worst managed, hotels I have ever stayed at A stain on the Marriott name, just like the stains of highly questionable origin all over the couch (so gross we had to cover it with a blanket) There was dried food in the stove, dishes in the cabinets were dirty, air conditioner noisy enough to wake us

Quoted one price and charged another for dogs-apparently the staff doesn’t even know the policy, which is apparently also not the same as what they publish on the web site Worst, they allowed a bunch of Texan yahoos to start a bbq at 9:30 at night Despite the young girl left to run the place alone on a Saturday night trying to get them to respect quiet hours, which supposedly start at 10pm, there were drunks and screaming children running around outside my window at 1:30am By that point I called the front desk and told the clerk either she could resolve the situation or I would call the sheriffs to do so Ridiculous that this was allowed to go on for almost 4 hours and kept us from sleeping Sleeping is the point of the hotel! So outraged by this experience

DayZee Mendoza

All lies here We extend our stay on Monday April 18 and everything was fine then Today April 21 they came into our room and told us we had 30 minutes to leave even though we had reservations until Friday April 22

I would not recommend anyone staying here unless you want to get ripped off and lied to Only good thing about the stay was the free breakfast

We stayed at the Kimpton Hotel born for our anniversary for 4 days This hotel is very well located, very walkable things in the area, lots of restaurants and cool shops around It also wasn’t very difficult to catch an Uber or a cab from the hotel as it’s super well-located

The hotel itself is absolutely one of the coolest hotels I’ve ever stayed at It’s got a super cool Urban Cottage vibe to it with lots of natural wood mixed with clean modern furniture The room was spacious with a view, the bathroom was beautiful with a stand up shower and the toilet in a little separate room in the bathroom This hotel isn’t super big and it never felt like there was a lot of people coming and going, except for during the beer and wine hour when you would see a lot more people in the lobby The staff were very friendly, the few times that we had to call down for something they were very prompt to answer and very kind to deal withWould absolutely stay here again, can’t recommend the Kimpton Hotel born enough!

Would visit again!!! Such a lovely hotel & what a great idea to have a partnership with the Colorado Athletic Center across the street! It’s conveniently placed right by the station and walking distance from the stadium so I went for a baseball game The restaurant isn’t shabby either and they get extra points for the wine-down happy hour! This picture is the view from my room

I will never be staying at another hotel while visiting Red Rocks every again It made getting to and from the venue so incredibly easy The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and went above and beyond to make sure we had any questions answered and were comfortable

The rooms are massive and honestly if I could just live in one, I would There is a great restaurant on location too called Nomad—the bartenders were such a blast, drinks were amazing and food was even better They make sure to have burritos ready for you after you return from shows too There is a nice gas station just right across the way, a couple of restaurants and a brewery You don’t have to go far to enjoy your stay Seriously, this place is incredible Can’t wait to be back!

Wonderful service, super comfortable rooms, and a fantastic bar and restaurant We will definitely come back again

My husband and I stayed for one night as we were passing through The cabin was cozy and Heather was so accommodating and friendly We had to leave early the next morning and she prepared a great continental breakfast that we could take with us

The Inn is walking distance to a few restaurants and the path to walk around the lake Great stay!

Very, very nice hotel! Impeccably clean Beautiful lobby with fire pit and restaurant Shampoo, conditioner, body wash were very fragrant and were wall mounted so no need to ask for extra of the tiny little bottles

Two large pools, one indoor and one outdoor with pretty landscaping The front desk staff were super nice and accommodating and kudos to the cleaning staff as well!

Rania Dempsey

The room was fine (but be aware-a double room Is two double beds, not two queens); the pool and fitness room were nice and the hotel iswell located, but the service was not good Staff were not particularly welcoming or helpful at check in and gave us incorrect info about the wedding with which we’d booked a group rate

Due to a reservation issue, we had a different reservation for each night of our two night stay but we were assured we would be in the same room and wouldn’t need to check in/out twice However, after one night we were automatically checked out of our room and our room keys stopped working (with all our belongings still locked in our room) We called the front desk for help and the line rang about 20 times then disconnected with no answer and no assistance Not a huge deal but just an annoyance and staff not super interested in helping

Julie Girard

Denver Marriott West is the hotel we always stay at when we come to Denver We bring our two Golden Retrievers We are always treated as family there and our dogs love it

I want to give a shout out to Kelly She was amazing!! Very friendly and took the time to accommodate us and meet our needs Thank you to all of the staff at the front desk, lounge, and cleaning staffthat always make our stay enjoyable
