I loved staying in this hotel! It was absolutely amazing, especially being right on the Main Street in key west It was so pleasant to walk down to the private beach in the morning The pool they had was stunning and well-made

The rooms were spacious and nice, and the I couldn’t even hear the elevator during the day, even though my room was directly next to it! The Sandbar was also incredibly nice, I enjoyed playing Ping Pong with friends

This was my first time in Key West and I’m so glad we stayed at the Southernmost We had a partial ocean view room but it was a much better view than expected Our room was modern, nicely decorated, clean, and spacious with a large balcony

There are 3 pools and we frequented the Shores pool and pool bar near our room It had live music every afternoon which was so fun! The food at the Beach Cafe was delicious although I do wish there were more non-seafood options The resort has a private beach with a dock to swim off of, which was nice for avoiding the seaweed that seems to be plaguing beaches these days Hotel location was right around the corner from Duval, walking distance to the Southernmost monument, a convenience store, and many shops and amazing restaurants Everyone was friendly and welcoming!

We chose this resort based off its reviews and location It was the most amazing stay we’ve had in a vacation From the very start they offered champagne at check in and also offered to upgrade our room which we elected to do

Our room was on the third floor ocean view and every morning we woke up to the beautiful ocean and sun The entire resort is so clean and they put a lot of effort into keeping it that wayThe staff was all absolutely amazing Harmony, the sunset pool bartender offered amazing drinks and we never had to wait to get one She also has a great expertise of the island and we tried all of the restaurants she mentioned and they did not disappointThey also have a messaging service if you need anything and they are so responsive A shirt of ours dropped to the balcony below and they had room service retrieve it within 4 minutes!!The location is absolutely amazing and getting to most of Duval St is a short walkWe will ALWAYS stay at this resort when we come to the keys and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and friendly stay

April

Beautiful place to stay with a relaxing pool and hot tub Olga was Fantastic and made our vacation a great experience Beautiful picture spots on the water

Tiki hut food was good and the mixed drinks strong-if ya like thatOnly real Issues were with leaving our 90 minute sales pitch and getting our free gift so I’m grateful I didn’t purchase points this trip but it was tempting

Dena Tartaro

The rooms are fantastic, spacious, and not a bad view amongst them! The screened in porches were stunning! Suzie Q at the Tiki Bar made our vacation, and Chef Leo kept us full and happy! Having access to a pool AND a little beach area with ocean access was wonderful Lots of wildlife to watch The four stars instead of five is due to the lack of shuttle options to get downtown to the fun stuff

The hotel right next door has shuttle and boat options NOT accessible to Hyatt guests That is the only thing that kept this hotel from being a 5-star stay, but it is something to keep in mind

leonard johnson

The property was nice and well taken care of The rooms were very nice! The shower in the master bath was awesome! The down side, the pool is very shallow(4ft) it was like hot bath water The temperature was in the upper 90’s all week with what felt like 100% humidity

Even though they say they have a beach, it’s very small and the coral hurts like hell! Key West in general isn’t a great destination if you like hanging out at the beach Most of the traditional beaches on the island are so stinky that you want to get out of there fast! Rotting vegetation all over the beach gives the water a real ugly brown until you get out 20′ or so Overall the room was spectacular but the area isn’t what I that it would be

We absolutely loved our stay at the Havana Cabana The lobby was very creative and tastefully done with the Cuban decor We were in room 116 which was right outside the pool and bar area, which was the perfect location when walking right outside our door

Unlike other reviews I have read, our room was very clean and neat My only complaint is that the shower did not get real hot The food was good and the bartender, Vadim was very nice The staff was very accommodating to our needs We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing location, basically an aquarium across the street Convenient to everything in Key West and Stock Island The resort had a great pool, great rooms and amenities

The airport is literally behind property and is loud but we thought it was kind of cool The airport doesn’t run all night Overall awesome, we wish we could have spend a month there

I have been staying here for a long time If you stay for a few nights you will love it I’m sure!Home away from home for us Have been to Key West 10 times and have stayed here 8 of times It’s on the Atlantic side of the island, with a great pool, outdoor table tennis, good grills, and lounge We just rent bikes for the week; nothing on the island is too far away on a bike

stacy brennan

Rooms are spacious Large balcony Pool was perfect! Make sure you rent a golf cart/scooter to get around

15 min ride to all the fun One concierge lady was not very nice and rude to the employee she was training I felt bad for him I usually give someone grace that maybe she was having a moment, but both interactions were poor Everyone else SOOO nice! We will definitely return

What a modern and funky hotel with two bars, rooftop and an air conditioned comfort option off the lobby The rooms were comfortable, clean and had eclectic furniture Pool front balcony rooms made for a fun evening cocktail in the midst of a summer afternoon evening pool lounge vibe

Felt like Palm Springs meets Key West Will definitely be back, exceptional staff Denise and Paul and actually everyone we came in contact with were awesome and professional Amy the Front Office Manager definitely takes pride in the property and staff and was a pleasure to speak with We will be back and will recommend

Rachel Smith

Wow such a lovely space! The staff was very nice and the room was amazing Rooftop bar added great ambiance and the other bar was lovely I will give this 5 stars for our room but you should be aware that some rooms border the outside bar and could be noisy

Also? Went in July and I know this place would benefit from a chiller on the pool Not refreshing at high nineties Also met a couple who also said they could use a heater in the winterWe even called the hotel after because the mattress was amazing She didn’t know the brand but said it is a common Being so close to Duval street was amazing and kept us right in the heart of the vibe of Key West

Marisa Hanebrink

HORRIBLE Extremely unaccommodating staff minus bellhop who was the only one with any ounce of customer service1

We get to the hotel and parking is 6 blocks away requiring you to take a shuttle if you want to get to your car It’s left out in a public parking lot in the middle of key west2 We went out that night and got back around 8pm, there is a rooftop bar two doors down that blasts music until 10pm shaking your room 3 Fast forward to the next morning, we see fluid (which looks like blood) on our headboard in the LED+sunlight At this point we have had enough, we’re grossed out and wanted to leave as they were booked up and couldn’t upgrade us4 the manager 1 Wouldn’t refund us for the night as we were going to stay elsewhere since she could not accommodate us or provide another option 2 Claimed this foreign substance was not blood (how could she know that?!), regardless if it was blood or not, there was a huge red stain right where we lay our heads at night They couldnt tell us what it was, but claimed it was “cleaned” but the stain remained even after when we returned to our room 3 Insinuated since we had been there a night that it was caused by us My jaw was on the floor I was so offendedKey part – they could not accommodate us to guest standards and still would not refund us for the night Again, they were unable to provide us alternate accommodations, and still would not refund usWe are Marriott honors members, and treated like absolute garbage We booked with the Hyatt ($1500 a night) and picked up our stuff and left although we had an additional night stay We would rather spend an additional $1500 then stay in a dirty roomWanna know what the manager offered us when this happened? TWO DRINK VOUCHERS It was laughable

Beautiful resort and sanctuary! We loved our stay here for our wedding/honeymoon! The staff was very nice and our room was super cozy and private The tropical plants landscape and multiple pools were spectacular!!! You felt so tucked away but then just minutes from all the fun The hotel poolside restaurant was also fantastic! The food, espresso drinks, and cocktails were delicious and the misting fans were lovely for a cool relaxing experience

I have been staying here for a long time If you decide to stay here you definitely will love it I’m sure!Absolutely excellent What a beautiful place to stay The staff were amazing, from the bell hops, to the restaurant staff, to the pool guy, to the jet ski rentals The front desk staff and valets we’re exceptional Thoroughly enjoyed my stay, and I will be back

Elizabeth Marshall

This is a beautiful venue with comfortable villas I don’t love that they are carpeted, but I imagine that’s to help with sound proofing My only really problem was the house keeping

We had flying ants everywhere in our room along with their dead carcasses and wings I totally understand having bugs in the tropics but when we specifically asked that housekeeping addressed it they did not I don’t know how they can see all the dead bugs and wings and not wipe or vacuum them up I’m not a diva by any means, but it became a little off putting when I found 3 bug wings in my coffeeThe rest of the staff however was great We love the bartenders at the pool bar, great memory and engaging Especially Chris!

We had a fabulous stay at the pier house! I went with my parents to celebrate my birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect The housekeeping was super attentive and friendly, the bartender and servers at the outdoor bar/restaurant were wonderful, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect We saw a gorgeous sunset from the sunset terrace and we could walk everywhere within the downtown area! I wanted to stay longer and enjoy more of the amenities

The beach and pool looked wonderful It felt like we were on a resort on a Caribbean island! Absolutely would stay here again!

Lisa Tomkins

We weren’t sure what to expect but this hotel was amazing! We decided to do our first family trip with our 1 year old to Key West since we’ve never been The entire staff was extremely friendly and accommodating The location is perfect! Right on the main road close to many restaurants/bars

The beach was really relaxing and the grounds felt like a little jungle Our son loved the little turtle pond They have both a beach bar during the day and a cute little dive bar at night that we would’ve loved to hang in if the baby didn’t go to sleep at 7:30pm I would highly recommend

Abby Ortmeier

An amazing resort with an incredible, friendly staff! We stayed for a business trip with about a day and a half of personal time, and had a fabulous time all around Check-in and check-out were very easy, rooms were beautiful, private beach and bar were fantastic, as well as the food and drinks The hot tub is in a secluded area, but that meant it was almost always empty! The resort is also super close to everything on Duval Street

While we were checking out, I heard a staff member speaking with a family that was checking out, and it sounded like they went back many years It was very cool to see that relationship between staff and guests, and if they’ve both been working there/coming back for years, that must be a good sign!Wonderful trip/experience all around Would feel luck to stay here again sometime! Thank you, Pier House!

We spent 3 wonderful nights at this hotel We were fortunate enough to get the Presidential Suite with an ocean view The room was spacious and very comfortable

The balcony had two comfortable chairs with foot rest and a table They are located about 15 minutes from downtown and provide a free shuttle that runs every hour Lucy made every day a pleasant experience You’ll hopefully be greeted by her on arrival with a nice glass of champagne They have a small pool but its only a few steps away from the bar/restaurant There’s a nice bar and restaurant inside the main building if you want more comfortable accommodations They advertise a water taxi (free) but it was not operating The hotel is dated and it’s time for Marriott to spend money to make money We would definitely stay here again

Melinda Young (MelindaSellsTexas)

Staying here was a wonderful experience! The Presidential Suite was spectacular and the overall property is so peaceful and feels like a real vacation The shuttle is great for getting into town, the pool and patio are relaxing, and the staff is truly wonderful Go to breakfast and ask for Maria

She will start your day off in the best way and have you smiling and enjoying your day She had recs for dining and activities and the best attitude Marriott has a gem with her as a team member Highly recommend this hotel for your stay in Key West!

Jacquie Fuentes (Jax)

The hotel was nice and the pool area was nice The room that I had was greatAll of the staff were very friendly and accommodating

In my case, however, the wifi to all rooms was down the entire trip On the final morning, the power went out on the entire hotel leaving no lights on anywhere Someone was stuck in the elevator and I didn’t take it upon leaving, choosing instead to take the 3 flights of stairs It has just rained and the tiles were incredibly slippery, causing me to slip and strain my backI’d recommend this hotel, however these two issues put a damper on my trip

The reviews for this resort vary so much, and I do not know why The staff at this resort are all absolutely wonderful, no matter if you tip them or not, they truly work to serve with the attitude of utmost helpfulness I was at this resort with my family for 9 nights and I witnessed those workers pushed beyond their abilities, dealing with extremely busy times of weddings, dealing with the needs of many guests at meals, dealing with multiple requests at once, and even rude guests and every single staff member from the valets to the pool boys to the beach servers, restaurant/bar servers, housekeeping, desk clerks, and the store workers were all fantastic

The housekeeping lady that serviced our room each day was by far the best one I’ve ever known to work at a hotel, paying extra attention to details, which I appreciate The complaints of this resort and staff are unfounded It is beautiful It has things for everybody, and is a perfect spot for any trip The sand is great for kids, the beach water perfect for swimming, and even great snorkeling Multiple activities available right there 2 large pools; one for adults and one for families The restaurant/bar has great food There was nothing not to like! We had booked a suite, which I highly recommend, as the patio is perfect access to the pools and beach The grounds are kept up and the pool/beach area workers are constantly picking up after people to keep things nice There are many hotels in the Key West area but if like a beautiful relaxing area with much to offer, this is truly the place, and it’s the staff that helps make it as so

ahu gokdemir

We were at the Reach for 5 days last week The hotel is by the ocean with a small beach There is the sea weed problem as the only negative thing but it has nothing to do with the hotel

They still do their best to make your stay the most comfortable The pool is right there for you to cool off after sunbathing on the beach The bar, the restaurant and the service all 5 starts The rooms are clean and they do their best to keep it clean The staff is so nice and respectful Amazing place to stay and enjoy!

smcginnis

Our wait for our room was well worth it!!! Celebrating our 23rd wedding anniversary in Key West was amazing The Reach hospitality and staff were wonderful, no complaints!! Loved our room, view and everything around us They made our stay unforgettable

I give Laura at the front desk a 10, and the rest of the crew a 10 as well They checked on us daily and made us feel so welcome 🙂 We will definitely be back!!! Thank you again!!

Summer Moser

Great hotel! Amazing location to Mallory square and Duval street They had a free 2 hour bike rental which was so much fun, great bar with happy hour downstairs, and amazing views of the water! Beach was a little small but to be expected for the Keys, and the good pool made up for it Only wish the toilet paper was better quality but that’s literally our only critique! We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the keys

Thank you!

Ashley Joseph

The location of this hotel was perfect Once we got here the only time we had to drive was when we went to the beaches All the other major attractions and best restaurants were in short walking distance, which saved us had and money on parking

The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars was because rooms could have been a nicer and more modern for the price Also, The AC was very noisy which made it hard to sleep and the room was hot at night despite the AC being on

Judith McMillan

Room with partial view was gorgeous 4th floor amazing Small pool and excellent food options

Wish they had option for pedicures/manicures on site Walking distance to all the touristy places like Mallory Square and then a quiet evening watching sunset I think this spot was the best sunset view Coffee in rooms and bottle water given daily in rooms Excellent daily cleaning service

Most of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful; however, the front desk supervisor could work on her delivery The bartenders Billy and gentleman from Moldova provided wonderful conversation There was also a wonderful gentleman, possibly shuttle driver, in the lobby who was always willing to help

The room was decent for a regular hotel, nothing special considering a large resort with very expensive rates The one thing I would suggest is better lighting in the room There are two small lamps by the bed and one tall lamp by the desk The patio windows provides great lighting if you want to wake everyone in the room with the noise and brightness The jets in the hot tub were on but barely made the water move Don’t expect it to be therapeutic The pool area was very nice! Cabanas were available and seeing iguanas everywhere was a nice treat The breakfast was not good! The food was barely warm and did not have any taste It was very similar to the free breakfast at a Hampton Inn I was not acknowledged or provided with any benefits I received for being a Diamond member until I asked after check-in The young lady stated there weren’t any available upgrades We were there for three days celebrating our wedding anniversary Overall, it was an okay stay

Ms. Davis

All the staff is super friendly, especially the front desk, house keeping, and maintenance The hotel is very clean The air in the our room is super cold, the shower is hot, the pool is huge & nice pool towels

Loved the water and cookies Me and my sons feel very welcome here The shuttle drivers are all also very nice Liked that there is a guest laundry So sad we only have 2 more days left

I was very disappointed in the quality of the hotel for being a Hilton property I expected a much better maintained property and a better handle on the guests The property was supposed to be smoke free but I had to move my room because the neighboring room decided they wanted to smoke pot in their room

When we moved to a different floor, we could smell more of the same in the hallway The rooms are well past the there useful life and should be remodeled and repaired I understand that when you are a hotel in Key West, you can basically charge what you want but I select Hilton properties for a reason and this one disappointed The staff was good and we had no problems with anyone in the hotel The wait staff in the restaurant and the bar did an outstanding job ensuring we were taken care of I would not recommend this property until the put some serious effort into repairing the propertyReply: Thank you for taking the opportunity to respond to my review Somehow, I do not think you will address any of my concerns and that you will continue to operate the hotel in the present condition There are many many choices of places to stay in Key West, and I am sure that I will be looking at them first on our next trip I wish you the very best

Orchid Key is a HIDDEN GEM! My husband and I just spent a long weekend at the Inn and absolutely loved everything about our stay The room, grounds, pool and Orchid Bar were sparkling clean and beautifully appointed What you see in the photos in the gallery is what you get

The coffee is piping hot before 7AM and the complementary buffet breakfast is absolutely the best we’ve ever enjoyed Huge bowls of fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, waffles all served with a smile Even though the Inn is located on two main roads it is very quiet in the room, bar and pool area It’s very conveniently near everything! If your thinking about booking a room, do it! You won’t be disappointed Plus, you can’t beat the friendly staff These folks really get it and are so accommodating We will return!

My wife & I spent 3 nights at Orchid Key and couldn’t have been happier with our stay All of the staff were genuinely nice- not just professionally cordial They really seemed to want to connect with the guests

The location is awesome- everything was an easy walk or bike ride away(they have on site bike rentals) You could bike to Zachary Taylor Park(less than 10 minutes) for a great sunset without the crowds The continental breakfast is very good The pool is a nice and a great place to spend happy hour taking a break from running around Key West before going back out again The room we were in was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated One thing we heard was to try to book one of the rooms that surround to pool(they are quieter than the rooms closer to Duval St) We will definitely return to Orchid Key and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone

Really enjoyed staying at Orchid Key Inn Very clean, pretty quiet and well taken care-of The staff was very friendly and courteous

As a matter of fact, every single staff person we encountered was super nice and helpful, from the front desk person, to the bartender to housekeeping Continental breakfast was perfect and the morning coffee was great The location is really perfect, away from the overly busy part of Duval but still within walking distance Great restaurants were very close as well A bit expensive but what isn’t in Key West? We had an absolutely great time and would not hesitate to return to Key West in general and Orchid Key in particular

Boyfriend and I loved our stay Shuttle to/form the airport was prompt and drivers were friendly Actually all staff we interacted with were beyond nice and helpful

Check in was quick and the receptionist had margaritas upon arrival Our king room was clean Only thing missing was a place to dry our bathing suits We ordered room service or ordered food from the bar as we had a meal credit part of reservation Food was always so yummy and quick Loved the free coffee and tea in the morning Easy walk across the street to the beach Best beach on key west in my opinion I would definitely stay here again and plan to return with my family

Wayne Ward

I booked this hotel because I thought it would have great service Turned out much different We were there 4 nights

The 1st day they cleaned the room You could at least pick up the trash The Shuttle was helpful but that’s about all you get for the resort fees Food was great and prices competitively for the area But, twice at breakfast we were forgotten The staff was great but mornings seem to be overwhelming for them

Great hotel with friendly and helpful staff It was clean, had 3 nice pool areas with bar, live music and a poolside restaurant Our partial harbor view room was big and had a nice view

Loved the Key West Aloe products in room Location was convenient to many popular tourist attractions Staff text us throughout our stay to ensure we didn’t have issues or if we needed anything!

Amy Martira

Would like to send a more in depth review to the managementI don’t feel like anyone at the property had a clue about customer service in a hotel setting Poor communication Poor layout of hotel property

Lack of attention to detail Lack of compassion or understanding of guest issues It was our wedding anniversary No one wished us a happy anniversary even when they delivered champagne sent by our friends with note that said happy anniversary I had a medical emergency one night during our staythey could have cared less Great location and a pretty room but the people are your issue Sister property at the southern most resort wouldn’t allow us to use their pool which we were told we could by marker staff For $500 per night I expect better Would not return nor recommend

Julia Sobek Maricich

Overall- the marker was a good spot! There was nothing remarkable or poor The rooms were very basic but clean The staff did what was required but no above and beyond customer service

The pool and outdoor bar was probably the best part! Great service out there and great, friendly support staff The location was pretty perfect- close to everything It was a little lacking on value, as we were charged over $500 a night, when it was on par to be a $200 a night normal hotel But overall good stay and would stay again!

The highlight of these hotel is that it’s around tourist area which is very convenient and you can just walk around, easy access to everything Also, shout out to Ms Annette and Ms Julia for giving us the great experience and helping us making sure we were okay with our stay Over all, I love it and will be coming 👍🏽

Danette Browne

Great room and service Spacious room with plenty of walk-around space Had no trouble getting around with my walker (broke my leg!) Bed was super comfortable with memory foam and down duvet cover

Large TV, clock radio with iPhone hookup, beautiful half-circle pool with lounging chairs and a bar And so many touristy things to do!The staff and front desk clerks are amazing!! They were very attentive to our needs, made sure we always had what we needed and always did everything with a smile! I would like to personally thank Annette for going above and beyond in helping us with a reservation conflict we had She was very personable, professional and so very kind!!The only cons I have for the room, not the hotel, is that we were never able to actually get hot water in the shower and there was no microwave Other than that… excellent place to stay!

Brittany Ammer

Our stay was phenomenal! This is the most perfect location in Key West We didn’t have to drive anywhere our entire stay Within walking distance of anything you could possibly want

There are so many restaurants, bars, ice cream and sweet shops, retail shops, and museums It’s also a stop for the trolley (huge plus if you are looking to see ALL of Key west) The rooms were immaculate The pool was incredible (especially after a long day of museums and tours) The front desk was even more amazing Gonzalo checked us out and even gave our 4 year old a surprise present when we checked out (the Key lime cookies were a huge hit)! Absolutely phenomenal service from Gonzalo and all front desk We will absolutely be back!

Service was great Rooms are nice/spacious but showing some wear The toilets don’t flush well and they’re really low to the ground, almost like kiddie toilets

Our room view was great, and the resort location is right in the heart of all tourist shopping and restaurants We could not use the pool due to renovations, so that was disappointingMy friend was paying the bill and he said there were a lot of charges on his bill that he didn’t recognize, so that’s all being sorted out stillOverall I would say it was a positive experience, assuming all the billing issues are taken care of

Barry On Bass

Fantastic stay at Ocean Key for honeymoon Room was spacious and clean Balcony had a good view of Mallory Square and the Gulf

Location was in the middle of everything you could want (Duval St, Fury Water Adventures, etc) The staff was nothing but exceptional, especially Oleg, one of the valet/bellman We had a slight issue with the restaurant, Sunset Pier, however the hotel manager Rachel was quick to remedy the issue and our server, Jose was great Highly recommend this spot You get what you pay for and we will certainly be back

Cheryl K

Cannot say enough about how amazing our stay was! AJ, Matt, and EVERY staff member treated us like absolute royalty, and were so accommodating-over the top! Our room was extremely clean, the amenities, the view, the pool – we were just blown away

The location is absolutely perfect, and the bar service at the pool was above and beyond Our only complaint was that we had to leave!

This is a beautiful hotel It is small but perfect for what we wanted The staff is very attentive and genuinely cares

Our room was great, the AC was cold and everything worked as it should The interior was modern, the cost was not ridiculous for the time frame we were Definitely would come back again Thank you for a great time Highly recommendRoom 2 is ideal location with a great balcony, close to the pool

Sophie Folly

We spent 7 nights at Marquesa and absolutely loved it We have been to Key West several times, and this has been our best hotel experience Our room, a junior suite, was exactly as the photos showed

Everything was perfect and so comfortable The garden had two small pools, one heated and one not, but there were never more than 10 people out there at a time The landscaping makes it feel like the pools are in a tropical jungle, providing quiet and privacy The hot coffee by the pool every morning was wonderful The staff were all great, as well Warm, friendly, helpfulThe hotel is also walking distance to all the restaurants and activities of Key West

Robert

We have stayed at the Hotel Marquesa 4 times This time we even referred a friend to stay along with us The last time we stayed , which was right before COVID, we felt misled by the room pictures on the website versus the room we were given

Nothing was done even though our room didn’t look like the pictures We powered through and made the best of it This time our party of 4 , two separate rooms, with 6 night reservations had to leave one night early due to extreme weather that was forecast at home I get it that a smaller boutique hotel is impacted by such a change However I also felt a returning loyal guest might be shown some consideration We certainly didn’t want to leave early but weather precipitated it Loyalty, including regularly dining in the Cafe Marquesa, meant nothing and we all lost 1 night of room costs The indifference was most troubling A one night refund or even one night credit seemed like a way to keep a loyal customer but it seems our regular trips to Key West will now find us staying elsewhere

We loved this hotel! Everyone was extremely friendly! We really enjoyed our stay here! Lots of friendly faces! It was a nice place to spend my birthday 🎂🎊🏝💕 The Front Desk checked on us many times to see if we needed anything! We got the corner suite, room was clean! Breakfast every morning included in room rate! It was nice not having to pay for bottle water and the ice is already bagged! Like that they don’t force the staff to wear masks! Loved having large refrigerator and microwave in room! We added the balloons and bucket of beer to the stay! And a friend from 8 hours away had a gift card delivered to the room! Totally love this place! The texture on the balconies is cool, very clean hotel, totally impressed! Loved the wristband room keys!

after staying here for about two days, it’s not as bad as a lot of people say the rooms aren’t the best quality, but they are good enough for comfort the hotel is really nicely laid out, with a very nice pool to swim in that is in the vicinity of many rooms

having a starbucks right next to the hotel is very convenient and helpful the rooms are pretty decent comfortable beds, wear here and there but it would suffice considering it’s a small island, this is a decent hotel to stay at now i didn’t pay, maybe it was a bit expensive but in my opinion it’s sufficient

Xtine Bee

My husband and I were very happy with our second stay at The Gates hotel We stayed here March 2019 and March 2022 for my birthday for 3 nights both trips It is one of the few hotels in Key West that is a 4-star hotel with modern finishes and amenities

The facilities were extremely clean, and the two of us had ample room in the suite The view of the water in their green space as you have breakfast from Starbucks of the Blind Pig food truck is incredibly relaxing This trip we found ourselves using the convenient text service and their tourist attractions concierge, Darlene She scheduled two Fury water adventures for us, and they were so worth it We saw dolphins unexpectedly! Their staff are very attentive They also have a shuttle to the tourist attractions, which we would have used regularly if we didn’t have a rental car (free parking) We went to Duvall Street, Mallory Square, and/or the beach both trips and never got to try out the pool and bar, but it looked great, had live music, and the menu looked tasty We would definitely stay there again our next Key West trip It is one of our favorite domestic travel destinations

Kel Ruiz

It is a very well located hotel You must bear in mind that it is not a 5-star hotel, but it has everything you need to make your stay very pleasant The room was very spacious and comfortable

Everything clean and in order They accept pets, so my dog was very happy Ample parking It has 2 swimming pools, all very cool Var staff excellent service Very tasty drinks, don’t forget to try the tacos Very close to the hotel you have Starbucks’s, Restaurants, etc The location is magnificent The lobby staff are very attentive Price service is excellent If any should improve, it is 1 the ice machines in the corridors do not work and 2 they should change the mattresses, the one in my room was not 100% comfortable, but everything else was excellent 100% recommend this hotel
