I loved staying in this hotel! It was absolutely amazing, especially being right on the Main Street in key west It was so pleasant to walk down to the private beach in the morning The pool they had was stunning and well-made

The rooms were spacious and nice, and the I couldn’t even hear the elevator during the day, even though my room was directly next to it! The Sandbar was also incredibly nice, I enjoyed playing Ping Pong with friends

This was my first time in Key West and I’m so glad we stayed at the Southernmost We had a partial ocean view room but it was a much better view than expected Our room was modern, nicely decorated, clean, and spacious with a large balcony

There are 3 pools and we frequented the Shores pool and pool bar near our room It had live music every afternoon which was so fun! The food at the Beach Cafe was delicious although I do wish there were more non-seafood options The resort has a private beach with a dock to swim off of, which was nice for avoiding the seaweed that seems to be plaguing beaches these days Hotel location was right around the corner from Duval, walking distance to the Southernmost monument, a convenience store, and many shops and amazing restaurants Everyone was friendly and welcoming!

We chose this resort based off its reviews and location It was the most amazing stay we’ve had in a vacation From the very start they offered champagne at check in and also offered to upgrade our room which we elected to do

Our room was on the third floor ocean view and every morning we woke up to the beautiful ocean and sun The entire resort is so clean and they put a lot of effort into keeping it that wayThe staff was all absolutely amazing Harmony, the sunset pool bartender offered amazing drinks and we never had to wait to get one She also has a great expertise of the island and we tried all of the restaurants she mentioned and they did not disappointThey also have a messaging service if you need anything and they are so responsive A shirt of ours dropped to the balcony below and they had room service retrieve it within 4 minutes!!The location is absolutely amazing and getting to most of Duval St is a short walkWe will ALWAYS stay at this resort when we come to the keys and would recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, safe, and friendly stay

The rooms are fantastic, spacious, and not a bad view amongst them! The screened in porches were stunning! Suzie Q at the Tiki Bar made our vacation, and Chef Leo kept us full and happy! Having access to a pool AND a little beach area with ocean access was wonderful Lots of wildlife to watch The four stars instead of five is due to the lack of shuttle options to get downtown to the fun stuff

The hotel right next door has shuttle and boat options NOT accessible to Hyatt guests That is the only thing that kept this hotel from being a 5-star stay, but it is something to keep in mind

The property was nice and well taken care of The rooms were very nice! The shower in the master bath was awesome! The down side, the pool is very shallow(4ft) it was like hot bath water The temperature was in the upper 90’s all week with what felt like 100% humidity

Even though they say they have a beach, it’s very small and the coral hurts like hell! Key West in general isn’t a great destination if you like hanging out at the beach Most of the traditional beaches on the island are so stinky that you want to get out of there fast! Rotting vegetation all over the beach gives the water a real ugly brown until you get out 20′ or so Overall the room was spectacular but the area isn’t what I that it would be

We absolutely loved our stay at the Havana Cabana The lobby was very creative and tastefully done with the Cuban decor We were in room 116 which was right outside the pool and bar area, which was the perfect location when walking right outside our door

Unlike other reviews I have read, our room was very clean and neat My only complaint is that the shower did not get real hot The food was good and the bartender, Vadim was very nice The staff was very accommodating to our needs We would definitely stay here again!

We get to the hotel and parking is 6 blocks away requiring you to take a shuttle if you want to get to your car It’s left out in a public parking lot in the middle of key west2 We went out that night and got back around 8pm, there is a rooftop bar two doors down that blasts music until 10pm shaking your room 3 Fast forward to the next morning, we see fluid (which looks like blood) on our headboard in the LED+sunlight At this point we have had enough, we’re grossed out and wanted to leave as they were booked up and couldn’t upgrade us4 the manager 1 Wouldn’t refund us for the night as we were going to stay elsewhere since she could not accommodate us or provide another option 2 Claimed this foreign substance was not blood (how could she know that?!), regardless if it was blood or not, there was a huge red stain right where we lay our heads at night They couldnt tell us what it was, but claimed it was “cleaned” but the stain remained even after when we returned to our room 3 Insinuated since we had been there a night that it was caused by us My jaw was on the floor I was so offendedKey part – they could not accommodate us to guest standards and still would not refund us for the night Again, they were unable to provide us alternate accommodations, and still would not refund usWe are Marriott honors members, and treated like absolute garbage We booked with the Hyatt ($1500 a night) and picked up our stuff and left although we had an additional night stay We would rather spend an additional $1500 then stay in a dirty roomWanna know what the manager offered us when this happened? Beautiful resort and sanctuary! We loved our stay here for our wedding/honeymoon! The staff was very nice and our room was super cozy and private The tropical plants landscape and multiple pools were spectacular!!! This is a beautiful venue with comfortable villas I don’t love that they are carpeted, but I imagine that’s to help with sound proofing My only really problem was the house keeping

We had flying ants everywhere in our room along with their dead carcasses and wings I totally understand having bugs in the tropics but when we specifically asked that housekeeping addressed it they did not I don’t know how they can see all the dead bugs and wings and not wipe or vacuum them up I’m not a diva by any means, but it became a little off putting when I found 3 bug wings in my coffeeThe rest of the staff however was great We love the bartenders at the pool bar, great memory and engaging Especially Chris!

We had a fabulous stay at the pier house! I went with my parents to celebrate my birthday and it couldn’t have been more perfect The housekeeping was super attentive and friendly, the bartender and servers at the outdoor bar/restaurant were wonderful, and the location couldn’t have been more perfect We saw a gorgeous sunset from the sunset terrace and we could walk everywhere within the downtown area! I wanted to stay longer and enjoy more of the amenities

An amazing resort with an incredible, friendly staff! We stayed for a business trip with about a day and a half of personal time, and had a fabulous time all around Check-in and check-out were very easy, rooms were beautiful, private beach and bar were fantastic, as well as the food and drinks The hot tub is in a secluded area, but that meant it was almost always empty! The resort is also super close to everything on Duval Street

While we were checking out, I heard a staff member speaking with a family that was checking out, and it sounded like they went back many years It was very cool to see that relationship between staff and guests, and if they’ve both been working there/coming back for years, that must be a good sign!Wonderful trip/experience all around Would feel luck to stay here again sometime! We spent 3 wonderful nights at this hotel We were fortunate enough to get the Presidential Suite with an ocean view The room was spacious and very comfortable

The balcony had two comfortable chairs with foot rest and a table They are located about 15 minutes from downtown and provide a free shuttle that runs every hour Lucy made every day a pleasant experience You’ll hopefully be greeted by her on arrival with a nice glass of champagne They have a small pool but its only a few steps away from the bar/restaurant There’s a nice bar and restaurant inside the main building if you want more comfortable accommodations They advertise a water taxi (free) but it was not operating The hotel is dated and it’s time for Marriott to spend money to make money We would definitely stay here again

The reviews for this resort vary so much, and I do not know why The staff at this resort are all absolutely wonderful, no matter if you tip them or not, they truly work to serve with the attitude of utmost helpfulness I was at this resort with my family for 9 nights and I witnessed those workers pushed beyond their abilities, dealing with extremely busy times of weddings, dealing with the needs of many guests at meals, dealing with multiple requests at once, and even rude guests and every single staff member from the valets to the pool boys to the beach servers, restaurant/bar servers, housekeeping, desk clerks, and the store workers were all fantastic

The housekeeping lady that serviced our room each day was by far the best one I’ve ever known to work at a hotel, paying extra attention to details, which I appreciate The complaints of this resort and staff are unfounded It is beautiful It has things for everybody, and is a perfect spot for any trip The sand is great for kids, the beach water perfect for swimming, and even great snorkeling Multiple activities available right there 2 large pools; one for adults and one for families The restaurant/bar has great food There was nothing not to like! We had booked a suite, which I highly recommend, as the patio is perfect access to the pools and beach The grounds are kept up and the pool/beach area workers are constantly picking up after people to keep things nice There are many hotels in the Key West area but if like a beautiful relaxing area with much to offer, this is truly the place, and it’s the staff that helps make it as so

Great hotel! Amazing location to Mallory square and Duval street They had a free 2 hour bike rental which was so much fun, great bar with happy hour downstairs, and amazing views of the water! Beach was a little small but to be expected for the Keys, and the good pool made up for it Only wish the toilet paper was better quality but that’s literally our only critique! We’ll definitely stay here again next time we’re in the keys

Most of the hotel staff were very friendly and helpful; however, the front desk supervisor could work on her delivery The bartenders Billy and gentleman from Moldova provided wonderful conversation There was also a wonderful gentleman, possibly shuttle driver, in the lobby who was always willing to help

The room was decent for a regular hotel, nothing special considering a large resort with very expensive rates The one thing I would suggest is better lighting in the room There are two small lamps by the bed and one tall lamp by the desk The patio windows provides great lighting if you want to wake everyone in the room with the noise and brightness The jets in the hot tub were on but barely made the water move Don’t expect it to be therapeutic The pool area was very nice! Cabanas were available and seeing iguanas everywhere was a nice treat The breakfast was not good! The food was barely warm and did not have any taste It was very similar to the free breakfast at a Hampton Inn I was not acknowledged or provided with any benefits I received for being a Diamond member until I asked after check-in The young lady stated there weren’t any available upgrades We were there for three days celebrating our wedding anniversary Overall, it was an okay stay

I was very disappointed in the quality of the hotel for being a Hilton property I expected a much better maintained property and a better handle on the guests The property was supposed to be smoke free but I had to move my room because the neighboring room decided they wanted to smoke pot in their room

When we moved to a different floor, we could smell more of the same in the hallway The rooms are well past the there useful life and should be remodeled and repaired I understand that when you are a hotel in Key West, you can basically charge what you want but I select Hilton properties for a reason and this one disappointed The staff was good and we had no problems with anyone in the hotel The wait staff in the restaurant and the bar did an outstanding job ensuring we were taken care of I would not recommend this property until the put some serious effort into repairing the propertyReply: Thank you for taking the opportunity to respond to my review Somehow, I do not think you will address any of my concerns and that you will continue to operate the hotel in the present condition There are many many choices of places to stay in Key West, and I am sure that I will be looking at them first on our next trip I wish you the very best

Orchid Key is a HIDDEN GEM! My husband and I just spent a long weekend at the Inn and absolutely loved everything about our stay The room, grounds, pool and Orchid Bar were sparkling clean and beautifully appointed What you see in the photos in the gallery is what you get

The coffee is piping hot before 7AM and the complementary buffet breakfast is absolutely the best we’ve ever enjoyed Huge bowls of fresh fruit, pastries, bagels, waffles all served with a smile Even though the Inn is located on two main roads it is very quiet in the room, bar and pool area It’s very conveniently near everything! If your thinking about booking a room, do it! You won’t be disappointed Plus, you can’t beat the friendly staff These folks really get it and are so accommodating We will return!

My wife & I spent 3 nights at Orchid Key and couldn’t have been happier with our stay All of the staff were genuinely nice- not just professionally cordial They really seemed to want to connect with the guests

The location is awesome- everything was an easy walk or bike ride away(they have on site bike rentals) You could bike to Zachary Taylor Park(less than 10 minutes) for a great sunset without the crowds The continental breakfast is very good The pool is a nice and a great place to spend happy hour taking a break from running around Key West before going back out again The room we were in was clean and appeared to have been recently renovated One thing we heard was to try to book one of the rooms that surround to pool(they are quieter than the rooms closer to Duval St) We will definitely return to Orchid Key and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone

There are so many restaurants, bars, ice cream and sweet shops, retail shops, and museums It’s also a stop for the trolley (huge plus if you are looking to see ALL of Key west) The rooms were immaculate The pool was incredible (especially after a long day of museums and tours) The front desk was even more amazing Gonzalo checked us out and even gave our 4 year old a surprise present when we checked out (the Key lime cookies were a huge hit)! Everything was perfect and so comfortable The garden had two small pools, one heated and one not, but there were never more than 10 people out there at a time The landscaping makes it feel like the pools are in a tropical jungle, providing quiet and privacy The hot coffee by the pool every morning was wonderful The staff were all great, as well Warm, friendly, helpfulThe hotel is also walking distance to all the restaurants and activities of Key West

We have stayed at the Hotel Marquesa 4 times This time we even referred a friend to stay along with us The last time we stayed , which was right before COVID, we felt misled by the room pictures on the website versus the room we were given

Nothing was done even though our room didn’t look like the pictures We powered through and made the best of it This time our party of 4 , two separate rooms, with 6 night reservations had to leave one night early due to extreme weather that was forecast at home I get it that a smaller boutique hotel is impacted by such a change However I also felt a returning loyal guest might be shown some consideration We certainly didn’t want to leave early but weather precipitated it Loyalty, including regularly dining in the Cafe Marquesa, meant nothing and we all lost 1 night of room costs The indifference was most troubling A one night refund or even one night credit seemed like a way to keep a loyal customer but it seems our regular trips to Key West will now find us staying elsewhere

We loved this hotel! Everyone was extremely friendly! We really enjoyed our stay here! Lots of friendly faces! It was a nice place to spend my birthday 🎂🎊🏝💕 The Front Desk checked on us many times to see if we needed anything! We got the corner suite, room was clean! Breakfast every morning included in room rate! It was nice not having to pay for bottle water and the ice is already bagged! Like that they don’t force the staff to wear masks! Loved having large refrigerator and microwave in room! We added the balloons and bucket of beer to the stay! And a friend from 8 hours away had a gift card delivered to the room! Totally love this place! The texture on the balconies is cool, very clean hotel, totally impressed! Loved the wristband room keys!

My husband and I celebrated my birthday in Key West and we spent five nights at the Capitana So glad we did! We chose a corner room with wraparound balcony and it was lovely Resort was very new, very clean, with beautiful landscaping

Loved the nautical-inspired decor throughout The room was cozy but didn’t feel cramped Beautiful bathroom with rainfall shower Staff were friendly and attentive, and the free breakfast was tasty and had a nice variety of food options Also appreciated the hydration stations and free bottled water in the room The pool area is open until 11pm which we loved It was so nice relaxing in the pool and hot tub every evening after a day of exploring Key West Would definitely recommend this place for a couples’ or friends’ getaway Would stay again!

after staying here for about two days, it’s not as bad as a lot of people say the rooms aren’t the best quality, but they are good enough for comfort the hotel is really nicely laid out, with a very nice pool to swim in that is in the vicinity of many rooms

having a starbucks right next to the hotel is very convenient and helpful the rooms are pretty decent comfortable beds, wear here and there but it would suffice considering it’s a small island, this is a decent hotel to stay at now i didn’t pay, maybe it was a bit expensive but in my opinion it’s sufficient

My husband and I were very happy with our second stay at The Gates hotel We stayed here March 2019 and March 2022 for my birthday for 3 nights both trips It is one of the few hotels in Key West that is a 4-star hotel with modern finishes and amenities

The facilities were extremely clean, and the two of us had ample room in the suite The view of the water in their green space as you have breakfast from Starbucks of the Blind Pig food truck is incredibly relaxing This trip we found ourselves using the convenient text service and their tourist attractions concierge, Darlene She scheduled two Fury water adventures for us, and they were so worth it We saw dolphins unexpectedly! Their staff are very attentive They also have a shuttle to the tourist attractions, which we would have used regularly if we didn’t have a rental car (free parking) We went to Duvall Street, Mallory Square, and/or the beach both trips and never got to try out the pool and bar, but it looked great, had live music, and the menu looked tasty We would definitely stay there again our next Key West trip It is one of our favorite domestic travel destinations
