Beautiful rooms, excellent sauna/ steam room facility, amazing gym, wonderful gardens Food was absolutely incredible and room service was open late Staff was catering and exceptional overall
There was a wedding on the front lawn when I was there and I was able to peek at it from my room It was one of the nicest I’ve ever seen and was fortunate to see it All around great place

Check-in was efficient, room was nice My gripe was that there was a party with lots of very drunk and loud people on my floor from 2:30 am until 4:30 am People were in the halls talking and laughing loudly for 2 hours
I called reception twice (3 am and 4 am) and they were definitely apologetic, but the noise didn’t stop We had an early flight and I mentioned at check-out at 5:30 am, but the check-out staff showed zero empathy They didn’t apologize but they did acknowledge the noise I know it’s not their fault, but I would think they should try a bit harder to ensure that guests can sleep ok Like perhaps have a no loud party policy after midnight?

A beautiful modern, comfortable hotel in upscale residential area of Bel-Air The hotel has sitting areas throughout, all comfortable chairs or couches with throw pillows, artful tables with fresh flowers, uniquely designed wall sconces Each circular arched walkway has different suspended lighting
There is wonderful blend of color, shape, texture and all areas of hotel ate lined with trees or flowersAlthough you are in a very busy area of city, the noise of the hustle and bustle is absent It is quite relaxing to take leisurely walk through Swan Lake Gardens, a wonderful variety of colored flowers, palm trees, even redwoods (Sequoias), red bridged walkways, trickling fountains There are two beautiful swans in the lake near reception and Lobby LoungeMy visit to hotel was to see Andy Warhol photography, sponsored by Hedges Project, and to enjoy cocktails at Wolfgang Puck Bar & Lounge It was a relaxing, low stress environment which my husband and I quite enjoyedThe service here is excellent We told valet upon arrival we were there for photo exhibit and he asked if we enjoyed it when we left We also received quick service in cocktail lounge, all servers were very courteous and friendlyThere is no street parking available Valet for our visit $15 (plus tip) It may be less with validation or if you are guest of hotel, so I suggest checking website or calling to verify I will return here for a spa day in near future

Best place to relax in LA Staff are all excellent (special shout-out to Francesca) Grounds are beautiful and rooms, as you might expect, are very high standard
It’s expensive but you’ll feel like a millionaire just sipping coffee Not quite 5 stars from me as a few small details just miss the mark and at these prices you expect everything to be flawless 45☆

I was lucky enough to attend the MOST beautiful wedding tonight, I don’t know if I actually have any experience to compare it to Obviously, the guests were amazing What impressed me the most, was how professional the staff was
From the valet, to the wait staff Impeccable I understand why this place is what it is Course after course they came out in unison Knew when to pause at a moment when bussing tables would interfere with the experience I’m in awe of the teamwork required to execute such a feat all the while, minimizing their impact on a moment that is so important 5 star that may not be enough

I apologize for not taking more photos I enjoyed my massage at the spa it was absolutely delightful The massage therapist was very good
However I would say that they weigh overcharged for their services I very much enjoyed their food there breakfast is all I ate there and light bites for lunch at the pool everything was delicious The rooftop bar is fun however the pool is very small It seems much larger on their website in the pictures but it’s quite small The views from up there beautiful The staff is great Very good service Unfortunately though the drinks again are completely overpriced The bathtub was amazing in the bathroom the lighting could have been much better in the bathroom for being able to see myself as I was getting ready The room itself was nice but it could have been a little nicer and larger for the amount of money that they’re charging the small patio space was nice which is what they call a terrace but it also could have been a little bigger what some nice plants floral plants would have been nice it would have been a nice touch All in all I enjoyed my stay there
YR
I would definitely stay here again for the location and the rooms It’s a great decor and a beautiful environment in and around the hotel I enjoyed the stay very much
The cons here are the service and the pool area The staff at registration are not very friendly and accommodating and the pool is quite small and the sunbathing area was full and I had to wait about an hour for a spot there My biggest complaint was not really a fault of the hotels completely but I had some emergency business that came up and I needed to stay in the room an extra 45 minutes or so The hotel was very far from full so there was really no emergency to vacate the room right away There were literally at least 8 notifications from different members of the staff asking when I plan on leaving and each of them said okay when I asked for an extra hour I literally checked out and left 45 minutes after my scheduled checkout so I’m not sure what all the aggression was about
J C
Front desk amazing, restaurant in lobby top tier, rooftop pool service 0 The service on the rooftop is horrible No greeting s no acknowledgment and I was there over half an hour and not serviced
It was like another world from the service and amazing hospitality in the lobby areas There was a women on the rooftop her name was I think Bethlaham she was fantastic but the other staff really didn’t mirror the luxury experience I had seen from others Not welcoming at all and we were there to celebrate a special occasion The rest of the staff was great but the rooftop pool servers team by so much

The rooms are very nice and the bed is very comfortable However, the noise level when facing Sunset is pretty high, you hear everything on the street at night The TV in the room is impossible to watch if you’re sitting on the couch
Shower is fantastic though The service at the hotel is not quite up to par, imho – they’re not very proactive or eager to please The food at the breakfast restaurant is good, nice pastries too They’re only a few changes away from being great Good luck!

I was served by Neil all night long I cannot recommend this place enough!Neil served 5* cocktails and gave me the lowdown of what to do in LAHe provided great company for a solo traveller like myself, whilst keeping up with the orders
I would hands down recommend this place to anyone The rooms are amazing, the pool is perfect and the service is 10/10Thank you Neil for providing such an amazing and memorable serviceI can’t wait to come back!
Barry Katz
Nice enough aesthetically, but if you’re planning on staying anywhere longer than a night or two, go elsewhere Bad bed, awkward layout of room (sink in the bedroom, no dresser, low useless chairs) and short bar hours (closed almost every night by 8pm) make this place a pass Sure if you’re trying to snap some IG pics by the pool, go for it
But don’t expect to have your minibar or snack area restocked, even if you’re there for a week and a half!
meg symanow
I had been here several times with my (white) girlfriends and was warmly welcomed into the pool area and had an amazing time with great service Came here a few days ago with my black friend and had a very different experience The second we walked in we were rapidly approached by a woman who very aggressively informed us that the pool was for guests only
She didn’t ask us if we were guests but immediately assumed that we couldn’t possibly be We left but I couldn’t shake the feeling my friend had been discriminated against so I went back in to talk it out with the manager When I politely broached the topic with her she began raising her voice at me and became erratic, even shouting at me as I had already tuned to leave Stay away from this place if you are a POC, the whole interaction felt racially biased

What a wonderful East Hollywood gem for a long weekend in LA With built-in entertainment every single night, this was the ideal stylish getaway for a long birthday weekend Many thoughtful and practical touches in the room with as much or as little communication from staff as you wish
I felt safe both in the hotel portion as well as at the bar during busy nights and was pleased that the overnight parking lot, though not secured, was nothing to worry about for my rather flashy rental car for the weekend Great location to get to all my desired destinations throughout the weekend I will most certainly be looking for another opportunity to come back for a stay in the future
Nick Begane
This is the most beautifully designed hotel we’ve ever stayed at Seriously There were so many little touches like earplugs, records to play, the Calm app installed in their TV system, and a white noise machine
The way the design seamlessly blended will leave you feeling inspired While the parking and exterior may seem lacking, the captivating mystery as you ascend the stairs to a personally designed room will leave you both excited and delighted
Pu April
One of the best boutique hotel i have ever staying, we stayed in the smallest room coz it comes with a balcony but I totally enjoyed been 2 nights of Gold diggerEvery details including the amenities are personal and beautifulThe whole experience was contactless through text and email
But the owner is very helpfulThey got a big parking lot free of chargeAnd a lounge that have everything you can think ofLove them will stay again for sureMiss this place !

Absolute perfection This hotel strives for greatness and goes above and beyond to offer impeccable and truly top-tier service The staff are extremely experienced, elegant, and sensible and make you feel both special and at ease the moment you arrive
From the valet desk, where they will greet you by name, to the pool, where they offer outstanding food and drinks, the staff seeks to satisfy your every whim (room service even went so far as to procure ingredients for a dish we requested) The Four Seasons LA is a centrally-located bastion of calm, an oasis within walking distance of all the charm and fun of Beverly Hills

The Four Seasons Los Angeles was phenomenal and truly lives up to the brands standards The level of attention to detail and service is top notch! Special thanks to Nathan from concierge who went above and beyond to make us feel special From the moment we arrived we were greeted with glass of champagne, and escorted to our Wellness room which was just a few steps to the pool, and had a wonderful balcony overlooking Beverly Hills
Nathan also went out of his way to coordinate a special welcome amenity for us which was incredible This will always be my go-to stay in LA from now on!
Herah Syesy
The Four Seasons Hotel is a great place to stay if you’re visiting the city The location could not be better – just steps from everything that downtown has to offer, including all of its wonderful fountains! I work in hotels I am not the easiest person to please at a hotel I was very satisfied with my experience
Location was central, rooms were clean, staff was excellent, informative, receptive Room service is through the roof expensive $45 for two glasses of wine But, it’s technically a Ritz-Carlton property as well So I guess that’s to be expected I also feel like they could up their linens game Other than that, top notch
Samir Atiya
When entering, the hotel staff is friendly and eager to help The front desk staff are quick to check you in and explain the amenities they have The pool was closed but I was offered a complementary access to the Ritz-Carleton pool which was a nice gesture
The room is clean and everything is tidy as expected of this caliber of hotel Room service is also quick to answerThe main floor has a coffee shop, restaurant, and gift shop The hotel is also centrally located so it’s easy to exploreI would stay here again and would highly recommend it

We had a great stay even though we were only there for one night We had flown into town in the afternoon from Dallas to watch the Rangers play the Angels in Anaheim, so we left pretty much right after we checked in The Guest Relations Coordinator, Nathan, e-mailed us in advance to find out when we were arriving, if we were celebrating any special occasions, and if we needed anything special
We did let him know we’d probably be arriving a tad before check-in and would leave our bags and that we were celebrating our 16th wedding anniversary When we got to the hotel, we were greeted right away and by a very polite gentleman at the front desk (I wish I could remember his name) They actually did have our room ready early, which was a great treat as we could get ready in our room to head to the ballgame We were also delighted to find out that we’d been upgraded, which from what I understand, is a rare occurrence at this hotel I am a platinum member and lifetime silver, but I was still surprised The room was on one of the top floors, accessible only by a separate elevator, and it had an extra office area which came in very handy the next morning when my husband had some zoom calls to make When we got back from the game, we saw that the 24th floor lounge was open when we got off of the elevator and went to have a drink The lounge had incredible views and the drinks were tasty We were surprised there weren’t more people in there, but it was around 9:30 at that time When we went back to the room, we found that Nathan had delivered a bottle of champagne and strawberries, not to mention a very sweet hand-written card congratulating us It was a fine touch and again, unexpected The extra touches at the hotel, such as slippers, two robes, straightening iron, TV in the bathroom mirror, turndown service, etc – all very much appreciated and will likely encourage us to stay at finer hotels such as this one in the future All-in-all, it was a great stay, and we very much appreciated the personal care shown to us while we were there

The Jewel Riders Archive
There’s many different aspects to this review And I think that the over arching four stars is for the general experience Some of the service was amazing, some of the service was a little lackluster
The resort as a whole was a little underwhelming The activities offered hotel gas such as horseback riding or kayaking could have been more adventurous; and an actual beach access would’ve been nice The rooms were beautiful The food was decent A little over priced… But I would say if you enjoy sitting in your room and eating at restaurants and listening to live music this is the place to go But if you’re looking for an all inclusive type of a resort this is probably not the place to go
Erin Preul
Terranea has been on my list of places I wanted to stay for a long time I can’t say I was totally disappointed, but I was also not blown away For the price, I was pretty shocked at the poor level of service
When we arrived, our room wasn’t ready – at 5:15PM! We had been told we could check in at 4 at the latest, so we were very frustrated to wait with our bags in the lobby after a long day of travel Not to mention, at the hourly cost of this hotel for an ocean view room, that was almost $100 of time we shouldn’t have had to pay forLuckily, the location was spectacular and the ocean view made up for a lot But we were also surprised that after a day by the pool, our room had not been cleaned We didn’t expect a full service even, just simply new towels and a made-up bed This kind of service is what we expect these days from a lower level hotel, but the price they ask you to pay makes the small details matter much moreI would recommend saving your money and booking a vacation where you will get great service I can only hope Terranea goes back to the quality I heard so much about before COVID – as it stands, I would not return

I didn’t stay at the hotel here, but I and my date spent some time at the lobby bar and the garden The lobby bar is a beautiful place, amazing vibe, with live music on the day we were there (a Sunday evening) It really was nice
We almost didn’t want to leave 😀 The food was good (we had the calamari something) and it was a lot I was surprised at the amount of food The drinks were pretty good tooParking was also not bad Just $12 for valet parkingThat was for the lobby bar The garden walk was amazing So so beautiful and the area that overlooks the ocean is breathtaking I highly recommend this place 💯Next goal is to stay for a day or two in the beautiful hotel, and try the other restaurants at the location

We had the perfect stay Everywhere we walked was a photo op The bridge for the family wedding photo was on point
We were there for a wedding and it was 5 star stay Everyone went out of their way to see that we had anything we wanted The wedding location was beautiful It is historic and every detail is well appointed The reception was grand Great dinner, the desert table was second to none and the band was perfect They knew how to play while we ate then had the perfect song list for dancing NO rolling on the river or we are family cheesy tunes Sign of a great band Afterwards we had a beautiful spot to catch up before going to our room and sending up for a late night bite with room service Our room was classically beautiful a tad small but it is a really old hotel We’ll be back!

My husband and I had a great stay at Hotel Covell! We stayed in Chapter 1 The room was large, well appointed, and comfy Everyone associated with the hotel and the bar was friendly and accommodating
We enjoyed getting a bottle of wine from the bar and lounging on the roof patio As noted on the hotel website, it can be a bit noisy in and around the hotel This is not a complaint, but we did hear music from the bar, other rooms, and lots of street noise If this bothers you, call the hotel to figure out the best room for youAlso, Los Feliz is a nice area and the hotel is located close to lots of yummy restaurants There is literally a good coffee shop, taco place, and sushi spot all within 20 steps out the front door The hotel is also a great location for easy access to Griffith Park We walked over and hiked up to the Observatory I highly recommend a stay at Hotel Covell!!

I’d be remiss if I didn’t pass along a hotel recommendation from our recent stay in Los Angeles Hotel Covell, in the Los Feliz section of LA
is a 9 suite boutique hotel with a cool apartment building vibe The units are all different, and they sit over a great coffee shop, Ice cream store and Bar Covell, a popular wine bar that serves around 150 wines by the glass, and a light menu You’re within walking distance to cool shops, bars and restaurants, and who knows, you might see a celebrity or two staying there or just out and about Convenient free parking in the back avoids the usual big hotel up charge and valet costs I’d say the price is reasonable compared to other decent LA hotels The staff is very friendly and accommodating too We picked it for its proximity to where our daughter lives, but whatever your plans in La La Land, check out Hotel Covell

Wife and I stayed at Chapter 2 the mid century NY suite and instantly felt at home Great chill rooftop and atmosphere The wine restaurant below was excellent with their knowledge and selection of wines as well as offering a curated selection of beers on tap
Amsay was very kind and went above and beyond the entire stay Definitely staying again and a must if you want to be in a charming location outside LA with coffee and breakfast tacos adjacent to your door
