We were Leary staying here because of other negative reviews but they proved to be wrong The front desk staff was pleasant upon arrival, check in was easy and the lobby was clean and inviting Most importantly the room was very clean and comfy and the water pressure in the bathroom was strong

Complimentary coffee in the morning is always appreciated The elevators have a security measure that You need your room key to activate from the lobby I appreciate that because you don’t have unwanted visitors roaming around the hotel A bonus to this hotel is FREE parking! I didn’t give it 5 stars because the rooms didn’t have microwaves I would visit this establishment again

Kaci Cobb

Here now Hotel is nice Staff is friendly

Good location The only issue we really have is there’s no microwave in the room so we can’t really heat up anything for the kids They like to eat half their dinner and bring the rest for later or breakfast Kind of disappointing we can’t do that So just a suggestion would be to add a microwave to the rooms

Kayla Minguez

Happy we were able to check in early as we just moved to the area and had been driving cross-country Desk staff were kind and helpful Room was fine but looked a bit outdated and there was a weird stain on the bathroom wallpaper by the sink that kind of made me think of Forensic Files

The AC also never really seemed to cool the room down It was fine for an overnight but for a Hilton I’d say good not great

Endeavor Aerial Photography (Endeavor UAS)

This is an excellent hotel and we really enjoyed our stay Check-in was smooth and the front desk person was very friendly The room was clean and well maintained

We had an opportunity to enjoy the pool area which was also clean and had adequate towels The breakfast had extensive options including breakfast sandwiches and burritos, egg and cheese omelettes, and a variety of other things I would certainly recommend this location and can easily say that it was one of the best locations we’ve stayed at

Dora C

I blocked several rooms at the Manassas location for a wedding When I stopped by the hotel, the GM ( Shirley) was very nice and helpful Her follow through was excellent

The staff was friendly and all our guest really enjoyed the hotel I left gift bags for the guest which the front desk staff graciously passed out I would definitely recommend this hotel and use them again if needed

Chelsea S

Will not stay here again Not up to Marriott standards and not well kept AC in room had trouble keeping up

The hallway and room smelled like curry or some other strong smell, it was so strong that it was giving us a headache After speaking with the front desk they did set an odor bomb in the room which took care of the smell, this should have been done prior to our arrival as it was extremely noticeable Getting late check out was a hassle and not in alignment with Marriott standards Shout out to the breakfast attendant that was extremely attentive and genuinely friendly, she made the stay a lot more enjoyable

When trying to check in the person at the service desk wouldn’t open the door for me, had to wait for another person checking in Once in the room there was a beeping noise that kept my wife up all night The room was not great; lights were out, bathroom tile were cracked and shower curtain rail was broken

The only brightside to our stay was housekeeping were very friendly and helpful The eateries near by are plentiful I have traveled many places and this experience was in the lower half have places i would recommend

Zeye

When I arrived I was charged a higher amount than what was told to me through the booking site this was fine I proceeded to go on but then was told I also wouldn’t be able to use my military discount and they said that I should have done that threw the booking site (I’ve stayed at The Courtyard in Ohio and any other hotel allowed me to show my military ID and applied the discount when I arrived) , but I shook that off as well Anytime I stay at hotels I record the room before and after when I checked out I was charged the correct amount, somehow the next day they processed an extra 100 dollars I was confused because I left everything neat and as it was, I called to ask why I was charged the extra amount and was told it was because of a lamp being broken and shedded into pieces and was given attitude when I asked for them to provide proof (which they could not provide) I disputed the charge and won due to there actually being no broken lamp and me providing proof to my bank and the hotel could not show that there was a broken lamp neither Customer service here was horrible and inexperienced

We stayed on July 13, 22, if that helps with knowing who the staff was working The two gentlemen who checked us in and worked overnight were so very friendly and extremely helpful The two young ladies in the morning were so kind and helpful as well

The room was clean, beds comfortable, shower and the products were amazing Only thing I would have wished for was a hot tub/outdoor pool That would have been nice But not taking any stars away from the staff So friendly Thank you for all your help Will come again

Great hotel and amazing staff We stayed here for 2 weeks The hotel staff really cared, were so friendly, and very helpful

The restaurant has a great menu and the sushi chefs were superb The pool was very nice, and the gym had everything a person needs The hotel beds were very comfortable The staff that worked at the hotel marketplace were always so nice and friendly I highly recommend this hotel

Jasmine Hanonu

This is a beautiful hotel with amazing views and staff Price is very competitive The staff were very kind and welcoming

I only stayed one night, I checked in around 5pm and left at 8 the next morning, so because of my time restraints I chose not to go directly to staff to see if they could make things right The bathroom was not properly cleaned The sink had hair from a previous shave, and I had a towel that didn’t seem clean either We had a chaise in the room, but it had some stains on it I am hoping this was just a fluke, because I would love to stay again They also charge $17 for breakfast, but we left early to grab breakfast elsewhere If it were for the disappointment with cleanliness, this would have been an easy 5 star review

Tali Norby

It’s such a beautiful hotel with wonderful amenities, however, I have never had such terrible customer service When I first checked in, the receptionist was actually wonderful Checked in, went to my room, went to bed

I was then woken up at 5:30 am to the phone ringing I didn’t answer It rang a second time Still just waking up so I didn’t answer it in time Went back to bed Someone then started knocking on my door, yelling in my room saying “have you checked in?” Mind you, it is 5:30 am and I checked in the previous day at 4 pm for two nights I answer the door and the guy writes my name down and says I wasn’t reserved? So he took my name and said he’ll take care of it I go back to bed and my phone rings AGAIN and I answer it and no one is on the other end Then it rings YET AGAIN and I answer angrily, and they say “do you have a reservation?” To which I said my name and said I will head to the lobby I hang up and they called…again I didn’t answer and went straight to the front desk The receptionist then said “the last receptionist didn’t check you on all the way but I found your reservation and figured it out” and proceeded to give me a voucher for free breakfast For only that morning That I ultimately missed because I was woken up at 5:30 am and it took me a couple hours to fall back asleep after that No other explanation, and no other way to make it right in my eyes So so disappointed

I was informed upon check-in that despite having masks mandates in the state, the staff does not enforce it I also encountered several employees who did not wear a mask at all I saw a large group of guests convened in the check-in area, in front of the front desk and no one was wearing a mask

In addition, my room had a hard stain/residue next to the bed We also found what appeared to be pubic hair in the shower and near the sink Only reinforced the notion that the hotel is not taking cleaning seriously nor the pandemic, we are still in After sending photos and videos, I was comped a night and informed that housekeeping would come in and thoroughly clean the room Upon arrival back into the room, we found the carpet stain was removed but the hair remained I took additional photos and videos We are disgusted Despite the hotel being new construction, well laid out and comfortable furnishings, I am not at all confident that cleanliness and safety are a priority at this hotel Upon check out, I showed the front desk attendant the new photo and videos and she in a nice/nasty tone and attitude dismissed my concerns leaving a further bad taste in my mouth When we called down asking for a late checkout, she was nasty in how she rejected our request

Janet Haggard

Everything was absolutely perfect The rooms were large and clean and the beds were very comfortable The building is beautiful with an indoor pool but the very best part was the staff

They were very helpful and extremely pleasant and eager to assist Good breakfast in the morning I will definitely stay there again when I’m in that area I highly recommend them

Immanuel Watkins

We came up from the Virginia Beach area to see a Washington Commanders football game and stayed at this hotel The hotel was nice and clean, the breakfast food was good and several restaurants and Walmart close by but what made our stay superb was Andrew!!!! He checked us in efficiently as well as several other guests He was professional and courteous and very tentative to each guests

He was working alone and juggling calls, check-ins and grabbing extra sheets for guests This kid was incredible We checked in around 10pm and checked out 10am the next day and he was still there manning the front desk If I had my own business I would offer him a job for more pay because he is a stellar employee for SpringHill Suites He should be promoted ASAP! It’s because of him I would stay in the this same hotel again for the next game Sincerely, Dr Watkins

This hotel was amazing! My family and I stayed here over the weekend and we truly enjoyed this hotel Check-in was pretty quick Continental breakfast was available every morning

Food was pretty good Rooms were amazing! I had 3 King Suites (2 bedrooms) and all three were spotless Great location right across from the Metro station Also, there was a 2 hour reception every night that included 2 free drinks per person per day Very thoughtful! Lima was amazing, and even gifted a later check-out time due to traffic My only complaint was parking, but that was to be expected

Becky Coxson

Cocktail hour was great Room clean and comfy Staff very nice

Would have given 5 stars if trash cans in elevators has not been overflowing onto floor If you don’t have staff to empty cans don’t put them out Also have to ask if you want clean towels or room trash emptiedBreakfast buffet was well maintained

Justin S

Great stay over the 4th of July weekend! Although the hotel was very busy, they were extremely attentive to any need we had! Great included breakfast! They went the extra mile and reached out to offer a late checkout on our departure day…which helped us out immensely Great location to the train as well! Will stay again when visiting DC

They claim this place has been renovated; if this is what a renovated hotel looks like I don’t think I’d want to book Tile grout doesn’t dry up and crack shortly after a remodel What their ACTUALLY trying to pass as a “remodel” is a change of wallpaper and appliances

I wish I could upload the video of the microwave hood combo which is supposed to be vented, but instead blows whatever your cooking directly into your face after hitting the cabinet above it Idk how THAT’s not illegal Idk why a $100 cheaper hotel can have near perfect construction and conditioning even post-2020 Post-2020 Marriott feels like a dying animal lashing out trying to prove it’s still alive to the industry, at least on the mid to lower price bracket Their hotels are rife with hardly-visible but critical construction issues and it feels like they are just whipping out the bandaids and praying for the best Book IHG for competence

Teena Ballet

Me and my husband stayed here for the Christmas holiday The hotel is a little old but we had a very nice room with a fireplace Location was perfect with lots of shopping and eating in the area

Front desk staff were very polite and the room was very clean The only complaint we had was we were on the third floor and the floor in the kitchen area felt like it was going to cave in Other than that, we had a wonderful time

My room is very clean and everything was as it should be The lady working the desk in the evenings is just an amazing woman So friendly and helpful, an absolute pleasure to interact with her

They have a nice hot breakfast in the mornings from 6 till 9 The sundries near the front desk are a bit over priced, but I guess that’s just the cost of convenience

You know how in some places you go to, some people are great but no one is bad?In this hotel you’ll run into OUTSTANDING personnel and then you’ll run into ABSOLUTELY AWFUL personnel as well There’s no in betweenI stayed here because I travel for work

– They have called my company assuming some horrible things and embarrassing me in front of my peers to then apologize for the action (as if an apology of some low class gossip would fix anything) This is a low class hotel, if you are paying low enough for you to consider their stay worth it, then it’s a good place to stay- they have damaged property of mine while housekeeping and refuse to cover it (be very careful with your charging cables)- overall comfort would be considered good, until you need something from someone in management, then it will feel as if someone you don’t know was letting you stay at their home for freeIn all the hotels that I have stayed all over the country, I will say- unless you’re paying less than $50 a night, this hotel does not match their price, nor their brand Trust me, enjoy your coffee somewhere else where people will own up to their mistakes and fix them not constantly make them and say there’s nothing else to do while apologizingWorst stay of my career

Lil Threadz custom shirts for the whole family

I rarely write reviews but my husband and I just had a wonderful stay at the Lorien We only did 1 night but we wish we could have stayed longer The hotel was immaculate

The room was spacious, updated and clean Extremely comfortable We travel often btwn TX and NJ and this is a great , convenient pit stop I should also add that we are traveling with our dog and it’s a perfect walkable neighborhood

Cosette Livas

It was a bit overrated They charge for EVERYTHING, and really you can’t tell why For a Spa the TOWELS in the room were rough, the beds are NOT Queens they are Doubles, they only have double beds at the elevator and in adjoining rooms, I have request for neither and could not be accommodated

There were some staff that were very helpful and provided extras when asked, but for what we were paying we really shouldn’t have had to ask for enough towels etcThe location is great especially if weather it goodIf you Valet, look behind you if you don’t see him, they sitting in their car? (crazy) but they were able to get car to you when neededThe BEST part was the restaurant that is connected We did dinner thereTOP NOTCH, PRICEY BUT I WILL SAY WORTH IT The Mussels and the pastayummy David was the best waiter ever and we did see the value thereA friend recommended this place and he admitting stayed there years ago, he loved itbut when we told him our experiences, he said obviously they had changed management or ownershipWe even heard them charging a person for Early check in, the person walked up and said she was there, if room was available great, but if not she just wanted to leave info at desk for when ready, she was in a conference there the girl proceeded to check her in, says room is available and then addsthat will be 4500 early check in the guest was like wait, what, I said I would waitit’s crazy sneaky stuff like that, that really not goodOh and the Happy Hour wineis Woodbridgecome on give me something for the 2500 FEE you’ve tacked on

Kalea Brown

This review would have had more stars but upon check in the glasses in the room were very dirty Additionally when my boyfriend woke up the next morning we found a used condom by the side of the bed Totally unacceptable

The operations manager did call to explain how this is not up to standard etc which I did appreciate but just sucks It was my birthday and not how I wanted to spend the day Ended up checking out Unfortunate situation If you stay here please check the cleanliness of your rooms Front desk staff was very nice and pleasant Wish I had a better overall experience

Our room was always spotless after housekeeping They even did our dishes for us The staff is just great here The amenities are good, including the business center and laundry room I would highly recommend staying here Our visit was completely stress free thanks to this hotel

This Hilton Garden Inn is a nice place to stay If you prefer a bathtub in your room, that’s still an option at this hotel The breakfast options are convenient and depending on your Hilton Honors level could be included with your stay

The staff is friendly and do their best to accommodate guests It would be nice if coffee was available throughout the day at no cost to guests However, they do have free coffee in your room and a coffee machine in their small convenience shop for a fee I’ve stayed at this location dozens of times I definitely would recommend staying here for a short or long term stay

I gave this hotel a 3, and here’s why Though upon first entry of the facility you can see how well the maintenance upkeep is and the color catching, aesthetically pleasing to the eye reaction, the underbelly is where I have fault The rooms are beautiful and the staff is amazing, but lack of hot (steaming) water and comfortable beds leaves me wanting

I have enjoyed my stay, but I will be leaving tomorrow to seek somewhere that feels a little bit more like home Thank you for your courtesyUPDATE: I did leave the hotel, however I came back to the area and this hotel was the only hotel in the area that would accommodate my truck and trailer This go around, the bed is comfortable Haven’t tried the hot water yet Not too happy that they remembered me and placed me on the first floor next to the gym Oh well, I’m just grateful to have a place to stay

We stayed over the weekend at this Hotel Very nice

very clean and rates were very fair and affordableThe beds was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and there was plenty of towels The staff was very friendly and helpful with me and my family The only con that I can think of is I still haven’t received back my $6000 room deposit back yet and it was supposed to be credited back to my account upon check out

Spent a week here recently The service was very good The bar service was great and food was quick and easy to order

The concierge lounge was very nice and I took full advantage of it for breakfast and late night snacks The only thing I would have changed would be adding the concierge lounge key to the digital key I ended up having to get a key card for that access separately It was an easy fix though and the front desk personnel were very helpful

Titanium member This is a fantastic hotel with open spaces and clean rooms The staff are inviting and pleasant

They do have an open concierge lounge on the top floor It had hot eggs and bacon with the typical abbreviated breakfast items this morning Oatmeal, yogurt, juices, etc No charcuterie plate, but has enough to grab and go The bed was stellar and the shower/tub was spotless and well cared forHotel is quiet no matter which room you get, so that’s a big plus if you fly in late and need to sleep asap before the early rise, or if you have kiddos I definitely recommend!

The perfect stay! The people were super cool at check-in and out We just stayed the night, but the little things add up

the treadmills all worked, the shower was hot and powerful, the water refill stations had ice cold water, the breakfast was hot, and the place was clean!

We’ve stayed at this location before and the rooms and hot breakfast are pretty good This stay we heard a commotion between 3am-4am to police officers banging on the door across the hall stating “someone called 911” When I inquired later this morning, I was told the police were at the wrong hotel

I understand things happen It was an inconvenience for us due to losing sleep, then preparing to drive 65 hours homeYou will not regret staying at this property We will visit again in the future

Michelle MacFarlane

Check in was easy Room was very clean and tidy Only downfall was 2 different staff members trying to enter the room before checkout at 11

One knock and they were using the key to enter our room Thankfully the latch was out but scary situation if we had been down getting breakfast, and we come back to people in the room without our permission 👀 or if we had kids with us SMH Front desk clerk promised to speak to his staff but still a little unnerving

Stayed here 25 – 29 July with my wife who was attending a work conference If you’re not staying at this hotel – you’re missing out Wonderful staff, super clean rooms, great breakfast and drink bar, pool n workout room super clean

Staff at the front desk greet you each and every time you they see you This is one of finest hotels we’ve stayed at in a very long time! A+ Hilton, A+

Michelle Gates

Most of the staff is friendly and tries but there is an overall lack of communication, quality, and supplies, especially on the weekend Also, the walls are paper thin Don’t plan on getting much sleep

In general, the cost of stay does not match services rendered There are other less expensive hotels nearby Be sure to lock your vehicle, and watch your surroundings throughout the local area

Johnathan M

Came here because my house plumbing went down south This hotel has been nothing short of getting the job done with a clean and hospitable environment I’ve really enjoyed peaceful location and being so close to all the shopping

Would highly recommend if you need a nice, but not luxury hotel that won’t make you sell a first born in the DC area
