The team at Comfort Suites went out of their way to make our stay comfortable We had our baby with us and arrived much earlier than check in time They got us into our room immediately, checked on us to make sure we had everything, and even gave us two extensions on our check out time when our baby was still napping

The hotel itself could use some updates, but it is comfortable and spacious We did not use the pool or exercise facilities

My husband and I just got back from a wonderful weekend at the Red Fox Inn to celebrate my birthday Check-in went seamlessly My husband had worked with the Inn to arrange for flowers and champagne to be in the room when we arrived

Throughout the weekend the staff was fantastic, breakfast was delivered at our specified time, the room was so clean! This is a true relaxing place to stay and it is conveniently located in the middle of town Short drive away to different wineries We will definitely be back!

Red Fox Inn & Tavern, the oldest Inn in the country, had an amazing, Five Star dining experience consisting of four courses of the highest quality The service was second to none, top tier Thank you to Tim M

for creating an incredibly inviting atmosphere and excellent recommendations for dinnerPrix-Fixe Four Course Experience: $125 ppI can tell you that I made a couple of upgrades and parings to maximize the full experience and it was well worth every penny! You’ll see below, the lamb meatballs, grilled watermelon salad, wagyu bone-in ribeye, and strawberry/rhubarb shortcake with a cocktail and local Virginian wine, ending with a nice coffee and every single bite and sip was fantastic, prepared to perfection! I will let the pictures speak for themselves but the flavors were rich and complex, offering a delightful experience for the tastebuds My greatest compliments to the chef and team!I will be back!!DSG

We did the 4 course meal which was mostly ok I added the waygu steak and was extremely dissapointed The steak was not as good as a steak you could get at firebirds or other chain restaurant

Everything else was ok but not deserving of the price tag Service was 5 star, and saved the experience

I love Goodstone Inn What’s great is that it’s only an hour deform DC but you’ll feel like your hours away from the bustling city life once you arrive The views are fantastic of the Blue Ridge mountains and surrounding countryside

They’ve got llamas and food in their restaurant is farm-to-table using many ingredients right from the farm Spend a couple days unwinding at this beautiful Inn

The grounds are beautiful, and the restoration of the property is really amazing, however we were not informed at all about the history of the hotel, what there was to do on the property, and what amenities were offered Complimentary breakfast in the morning was the highlight, as well as having dinner one night at the hotel restaurant This is not a 5 star hotel- 3 at most

Bean

I really enjoyed my stay here The staff were very kind and accommodating I found some issues with the rooms

Like some bugs and issues with the shower But in a way I thought to myself that this was a historic inn that had historic charm I’d say in some ways there could be some upgrading with certain things but really overall I loved it and will be coming back again The beauty of this place totally beats a few spiders

This hotel is clean and mostly quiet We stayed in room 213 2/18-2/20 The gentleman checking us in allowed us to enter our room before 3pm which was very appreciated because my Daughters back was hurting

The bathrooms are large and water pressure and temp were good There are temp controls in room This was a cold weekend and our room was warm & cozy The breakfast was plentiful and the free coffee was good with flavored creamer options The pool was clean and the jacuzzi open The location was safe and close to many things driving dist There is a mexican rest walking dist I would definitely stay again The only reason I did not offer a 5star is because there was no hotel bar There is plenty of parking

This is more of a review of Hilton as a company than this locationStayed at this hotel for 2 nights in July, Sunday and MondayMade reservations only for $134

Per night plus all the taxes of course – normal and expectedGot the receipt via email and discovered that that I was charged $134 for Sunday and $153 for MondayI spoke to the manager several days later thinking they made a mistake or some extra charge was added He basically tap danced through our brief conversation, being unsatisfied I called the 800 #, The customer service woman said there were no extra charges added but that’s just what that room costs for the second night and said that each hotel sets their own policy and that’s how the system works based on how full the hotel is on any given night huh???So what I gleaned was the first night is the price advertised but multiple nights can be different based on how “the system” feels and you won’t know how much you’ve paid until you get your receiptThat’s an unfair business practice

We recently booked a one night stay through the app because it was a perfect distance for us to stop, coming from Atlanta and heading to CanadaAfter 10 hour drive, we pulled over to the hotelFrom outside it looked good, I had checked with the app so went straight to our room

To our surprise the room had several stains on the ceiling, with one having an actual water drop on itWe changed rooms then our second room smelled like someone had smoked cigarettes To our third room we go, as soon as we turned on the A/C it reeked like someone had peed in it!!!We were outta there I made sure to let the front desk lady about all these issuesWe ended up at the Homewood suites by Hilton, 2 blocks away

Came for a wedding The rooms were great Super clean

Loved the workspace set up (it was a comfortable desk with good lighting) Loved the gym :)The only thing was our sink kept getting clogged but other then that the rooms were greatBreakfast was provided for free Mostly toast, eggs, cereal, and some fruit Just the basics

My family (4 young kids) and I stayed here for 3 nights The location was across from a Chick fil-A and was low traffic and felt very safe The rooms were clean and well kept

Our room had a pullout couch which was great for the kids I liked that the rooms were clean and very spaciousThe lobby and staff that took care of the front desk were kind and prompt with anything we asked for The lobby was also very clean and well tendedWe went to the pool during our stay and though it is fairly small, the kids still loved itThe best part though was the breakfast in the morning Each morning we were greeted with a smile by Rohina She made sure my family and I had everything we needed for breakfast Breakfast changed each day and each day we really enjoyed what they offered Quiche, egg sandwich, bagels, fruit, etcI would definitely stay here again if I visited DC We drove 30 minutes from DC to this hotel because we came during the Cherry Festival, but I’d do the drive again because I liked the area and the upkeep of this hotel so much!

Over the few years I or my extended family have stayed at this property and its always been a great stay It was a quiet location until One Loudoun was built out as it is now…and no surprise the property is even more busierFirst my thanks to GM Jacob Alibrandi who fit me in with a nice upgrade

He runs a really nice property (1 minor hiccup with Housekeeping explained later)Breakfast is the highlight of the property especially because of Rohina Salman who manages to greet all of her guests, keep the buffet fresh and full and allows everyone I saw to leave very happy Given news of various Marriott cutbacks, this property delivers a really good buffet and I heard the same from several guestsThe rooms are spacious and well laid out with a desk The smart TV is nice and a differentiator for MarriottSmall but efficient gym Looks like someone walked away with some weights (10 pounds) and you have to remind staff to ensure clean wipes are available especially in this pandemic environmentLots of parking outside and easy access to One Loudoun and just about anywhere with Route 7 and Route 28One suggestion on Housekeeping Its every other day but you have to notify the front desk I did and was missed even though I also personally spoke to the 2 ladies in the morningMohammed the night shift person was king to provide me clean towels and a refreshment The next day it was cleanedA really nice stay I provided gratuities to Housekeeping and Ms Salman just to show my appreciation I hope other guests do the same

Lurice McCalla Di Muzio

My low score for this particular visit is due in part to the very rude waiter at the hotel restaurant I had picked up an order from doordash which consisted of a single apple pie, an erroneous order, and was sharing with my flight crew co-workers the mess up They had just finished eating dinner at the hotel restaurant and were seated in the lobby dining area

After my colleague expressed she didn’t truly enjoy her pureed squash with tofu and salad, I decided to share the one apple pie that I received with her and my other co-worker The waiter approached me from behind pretty indignant that I couldn’t bring food from the outside into the restaurant It was pretty aggressive for no reason at all Then my room was cold for hours after turning the heat up and the engineer had to come fix it He entered my room while I was in the lobby and when I came in he was pretty forceful about me coming back into the room using the key in my hand because he needed to be sure the room was mine (he had the door propped open with the deadbolt) My work photo ID was on the desk and the key in my hand was still in the case which displayed the room number I’ve stayed at this hotel at least 45 to 50 times in the last 2 years and this was the most unpleasant visit They need to step up their customer service and remember their position when the pandemic hit and they were reliant upon foreigners and flight crews to occupy their hotel at 60% in order to keep their doors open It’s not hard to be nice I hope for a better experience in the future

The two things that are absolutely required for you to be a hotel are beds and showers My shower was broken Ridiculous!UPDATE: In reply to the response below from Joel Fuller, I did contact the front desk but when I had 30 minutes to get myself and my son showered and out the door there was nothing they could do

How did the staff clean my shower adequately? Wouldn’t they notice the problem if they were cleaning the shower correctly, not just running some water through it? We both know the answer, they didn’t clean I have also have photos of the trash that was left shoved in between the furniture from the previous occupants So again, we know how well they cleanedI hope that when people read this, and your patronizing reply, they realize that you don’t really care “Next time call the front desk” is a pretty weak response to completely dropping the ball on having a working shower

AJ Prussin

Have always loved this hotel, BUT I booked a room for June and cancelled more than a month before arrival date (it was a cancelable reservation) I received confirmation email for canceling from Marriott I spoke with Sunny Singh on Saturday and forwarded him email

He confirmed he received it and promised it would be fixed that day and someone would respond The charge has not been reversed and there has been no further communication

I stayed there 3/18/22 The only reason I give it 4 stars is because there was hair on the shower wall that was there beforehand I feel we are paying good money, it should have been clean

And the steam shower was still broken in the spa (not as big of a deal though) The restaurant (room service) and the spa totally made up for our unhappiness with the shower not being clean The room service is phenomenal! Super fast service and accurate Nice, hot, and delicious food! Yum! Everything is definitely farm fresh or at least it seems The spa treats you like a queen I was there for my birthday this time, and Christine T gave me the seasonal awakening treatment (winter) She was so amazing and kind She made sure to apply just the right amount of pressure She listened to me and it was very relaxing I really like how she made me feel comfortable as well (I have social anxiety) I’ve been to many spas and she is by far the best massage therapist I have ever encountered I will be going back because of her and the great food!

Second time staying here The first time we were upgraded to an estate room- thought that was so nice This time we brought our dog and are staying in the terrace rooms- hello! These are not a downgrade, they are just as fabulous

I actually prefer the terrace, being able to walk right out onto these gorgeous grounds is fantastic The terrace is so private I love this entire resort Everyone is so friendly This place has great energy, I’m so happy here Having our dog with us makes it feel like home, it’s so awesome that they allow pets We only live ~ 30 minutes from here but it’s such a fun getaway that the whole family looks forward to

Everything about our stay was awesome The owners and staff were always available and concerned about making sure everything was perfect…and it was The place is lovely, clean and welcoming

The room we stayed in was actually on a lower level which might not be for everyone but was quiet and comfortable for us There are several incredible rooms to choose fromWe had a delicious, all prepared there in the kitchen, breakfast where we joined another group of guests for a fabulous meal If privacy is preferred there was a separate room availableAlthough we were staying just a night, the Inn provides other services including weddings and other celebrations I would not hesitate to use the venue for one of these eventsManisha and her husband and son were absolutely great Obviously I can’t say enough positive things about the place You will not be disappointed

Brian Donley

This was our first trip to Stone Manor, and it won’t be our last We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the inn, and the owners are the nicest and most courteous hosts There is an amazing breakfast in the morning, with classic items such as bacon and waffles or pancakes, as well as scones, potatoes an egg dish, yogurt, etc

The room was great and had everything we needed to be comfortable We will definitely be back

Stayed here for a week in June The front desk are all super hospitable, courteous and professional The beds and pillows are very very comfy, I slept like a baby

Breakfast has decent hot food and made to order omelettes Food staff usually seemed to be in a bad mood Housekeeping needs to pay a bit more attention to detail There were strands of hair in the shower and crumbs along the side of one of the beds where they didn’t vacuum All in all the property is in good condition and front desk staff are all wonderful

Abigail Snyder

I’ve been a bartender here all summer and it is the best work environment I’ve experienced My boss and the staff I work with are the definition of hardworking but also kind The guests are mostly great kinds of people who just want a clean, pleasant, and fun atmosphere to come home to as they’re traveling

The Embassy Suites at this location does that Highly recommend

Chris Friedemann

Had two adjoining rooms, one of which was supposed to be wheelchair accessible for my 90 year-old Mom Neither were accessible Both had step in shower-tubs, no bars by the toilet

Both smelled of smoke Cop in the parking lot dealing with an interloper when I came into the lot around 1130pm Slow check-in – had to pay for each room individually even though they were booked on the same reservation Breakfast very good – loved the omelette ladies Not enough to overcome the rest Wouldn’t stay again

Picking Zion Springs as our wedding venue was the best decision we could have made From the beautiful setup, to the amazing customer service, it was truly a stress-free, dream weekend Laura, Sophia, and the rest of the design team made every detail come to life exactly as we pictured it; and Doug, Bethany, Tommy, and the rest of the photography and film team could not have made our weekend feel any more special

They were all so fun and truly made sure that everyone was having the best time possible 3 weeks later, and all of our guests are still talking about how amazing the “End of Night Video” is! We have all watched it at least 100 times each 🙂 Also a special shout out to our girl Sabrina, who is the best bartender ever!! She is always the life of the party and doesn’t know a stranger! We feel extremely blessed to have had this experience at Zion and highly recommend having your wedding at this venue with these amazing people!

Linda Doherty

We were there for our grandsons wedding to his best friend since first grade, this was 20 years coming Our hosts/owners Christine and John were truly wonderfulTheir staff and vendors priceless, professional, friendly making our three days memorable

We were special to them, we felt it every moment from our arrival until the day we left John was there to bid us farewell, sharing a few of his marital tips for a long and happy marriage That was magical, not only for the new couple, also for us all They are blessed

She nailed it! Down to every single detail Doug and the whole photography and digital crew did an amazing job! Everyone loved the late night video! It was the icing on the cake! Attended this location for a business conference Hotel wasn’t complicated to navigate and staff was friendly and willing to be helpful I thought the food was some of the best I’ve had at any resort

Even means made in mass for the entire group were very good Bar was a very nice size to spread out if you wanted Rooms were good, nothing overly special but clean and nice Would definitely do it again

Arik D. Brown

I picked this place for a short distance getaway to celebrate my wedding anniversary Some of the reviews my wife read were not accurate Thankfully we didn’t listen to them and stayed here

We had a great time!It is a nice mini resort The rooms were nice and clean and the service was great We ate primarily at the resort and enjoyed our food and the atmosphere Great gym and pool I’m not a golfer but the course looked nice The Spa is FABULOUS I highly recommend this place!

So my only gripe is still there The bathroom sink set in the middle of the bathroom has a table leg that sits in the middle My foot hits that every time I stay there

Otherwise the location, bars, ambience, food, golf and setting are excellentI love the pool and spa I want more time here Also a great setting for weddings, just a beautiful well curated set for an important moment

My mom and I traveled from Maine to a loved one’s celebration of life memorial service It was a long drive, so when we got into our room at 9pm it was nice to collapse onto the comfortable beds The pool and hot tub were nice and relaxing, but they should be open until 10pm

All the staff I interacted with were amazing, with the exception of the restaurant staff One woman in particular was quite rude first thing in the morning when I went downstairs to get our breakfast The hair dryer worked terrific as did the iron and ironing boardThere are only a few complaints or suggestions I have: The TV is a great size, but it would be nice if it could be more in the middle of the room Perhaps on a swivel I think the rooms should be stocked with more cream and sugar for the coffee It also would’ve been nice to have a microwave in the room too Our inside shower curtain was only hanging on by a few of the ringsOverall, this place is incredible and I’d love to stay again and definitely will given the chance

I was very pleasantly surprised by Hyatt Regency Reston The room was adequate and reasonably clean (though a little small) The bed was comfortable though a bit too firm for my liking

However, what really set this place apart from most hotels was the service I was truly shocked at how good it was Any call to the front desk was always answered and everyone I spoke with was very pleasant and accommodating Any request made was met within 15-20 min with no follow-ups required! My main gripe was the elevators, which often took a very long time to arrive and were frequently very full (but this is not unusual when there is an event taking place) Location is also great with many restaurants and stores within walking distance

I have to admit I expected a little more Several times the room keys wouldn’t open the hotel door I had to make several trips to the front desk

It was very loud on a Saturday night with children running and screaming in the hall way The pool and hot tub were nice but definitely look swankier in the hotel photos The bed and pillows were AMAZING! Expensive pillows (I checked, Pacific Coast down), nice thick towels and the room was very clean I wouldn’t pay the advertised rate though Definitely not worth $270 a night Parking is an additional $16 per night Also, no breakfast but lots of restaurants within walking distance Try Ted’s Bulletin Great food and superb service 👌

This is a nice hotel worth staying in again Though the room was a cramped, dark-walled rectangular, with a toilet too low and close to the shower, it had a couple nice features The desk was well placed and the couch was comfortable

The room had a defined living room and bedroom, with the rooms well separated with a half-wall and large TV mounted to it that easily turned to face the living room or the bedroom The fitness room looked good, but I did not see the pool The hotel staff was fantastic from front desk to housekeeping The food was just OK We had a little indigestion from their evening buffet, which may have been due to eating too much I would not dine at the hotel in the future The court yard was great, and I loved the flowering crape myrtle tree there

Clean, convenient, and well managed These days, it’s hard to predict what you’ll get from a hotel that was traditionally great pre- pandemic The service was friendly, rooms were reasonably clean, and we were treated to a view of the planes from Dulles taking off and landing from our room

Queen rooms had an ample seating area which was an unexpected surprise We ate dinner and breakfast there – it was at a traditional business hotel price point and with a lack of restaurants in walking distance, performed well When taking off for an early flight from Dulles, I would definitely stay here again

The rooms were very nice and organized I was staying for a school trip and was only in the room for 2 nights but it was great, the only thing that made me question the hospitality was the front desk I had kindly asked for extra towels because we only had one and the lady just gave me attitude

My roommates even said it was kinda hostile The breakfast was very good though, the pancakes were my favorite But it was a great stay and I would totally recommend it!

The hotel was located close to an event I attended The hotel staff were attentive and professional always making eye contact and saying hello when approached I used the Hilton Honors app to check and obtain a digital key that worked perfectly

The room was clean and had a spacious bathroom The bedding was nice and plush and we had the right amount of pillows for the stay The lounge food was very tasty and moderately priced I would recommend for anyone looking for an inexpensive, clean hotel that is conveniently located a few miles from Dulles Airport

Due to a missed flight, our family of 6 and at least 20 other stranded travelers descended on the front desk clerk at 1:00 am She was efficient and patient Our rooms were clean and welcoming with comfy beds

Breakfast was abundant and yummy and served by friendly staff The facility might be a tad dated, but cleanliness and kind, hard working people mean the most to us, which is why I give it 5 stars

The bed was comfortable, but that was the only positive of my stay The TV did not work; it would turn on but would not change channels The bathroom had a number of issues: water pressure in the sink was way too high, would splash everywhere even when only slightly turned on; water pressure in the shower was way too low, could barely rinse the soap off my body; the shower door did not close; and there was only one bar of soap between both the sink and the shower

Also, the workmanship of the last remodel was not good; there were loose tiles throughout the bathroom and the floor was unevenIf I had not been in meetings throughout the week, I would have switched hotels immediately There are much nicer hotels in the same price range in this area

I am beyond in disbelief of the customer service and the overall experience in general Upon entering our first room it smelled like urine In that room we also have our baby who uses formula

We woke up the next morning to seeing ants literally everywhere and all over my baby’s things I’ve had to dump things in the middle of a formula shortage Which is a horrible loss to any new mom who has to literally travel to find this stuffReached out to the front desk at around 6am They were prompt and moved us to a different room We looked didn’t see any ants initially We left the hotel for the day and came back at night Before we left we kept everything off the floor, nothing in reach and hung up everything Came back to the room with ants in the bed and on the desk they have yet againWent downstairs around 12 at night to complain again The manager told me we can either check out in the middle of the night with our newborn baby and get a refund, or he could move us to yet another ant roomI get that it’s a tough job especially with a worker shortage The manager was not attentive neither empathetic at all He actually seemed really clueless about what to say or doIf you have baby’s I would not recommend staying here until they fix the ant problem The hotel is very dated at thatI did enjoy a salad I got from the bar and the customer service was stellar from the bartender

A really nice Hilton with the feel of an older, grand style Hotel The fitness center and pool area was pristine; both the bar/restaurant and full menu or buffet breakfast was all excellent quality I was there for 5 nights for business; it really made a difference to have all the amenities on hand

Nice little gift shop and hair/nail salon too Would definitely stay again, whether for business or leisure

This is a really nice elegant looking hotel! I can’t deny that when you walk in the lobby and in your room you’ll get the feeling of staying in luxury! But, this hotel is lacking on one very important feature Look at the picture of the thermostat! This thermostat is from the 1970’s…! Please Hilton, update the thermostats in this hotel! My review should be a full 5-star but because of the 40-year old thermostat I had to take a star away from my review!
