Update: The owner has Not step one foot on the premises If so, they will notice the bathtubs are Not thoroughly cleaned! Clearly, being a guest as of This morning I can assure you there is Only One working elevator (which was dirty as well) Again, This hotel needs a better cleaning staff and better management

This hotel is decliningHorrible Simply Horrible Traveled from Maryland to Philadelphia looking for a nice and clean hotel However, we found this hotel is dirty and only has one working elevator The rooms are outdated The bath tub is extremely dirty There is a ring of dirt around the tub in room 315 Could not take a shower Therefore, we switched rooms The second room was just as horrible The second bath tub is still peeling, rusty and dirty It was cold Turned up the heat, it’s still a major draft coming from the windows We froze throughout the night and checked out early The rooms need to be thoroughly cleaned, renovated and upgraded

I called a head of time and asked for a room with a pool view and was told I could get one When I arrived I didn’t get one and was asked to pay an extra $40 because they didn’t note that I had called and requested it My friend checked in after me and was given the room with no extra charge

The toilets in both of my rooms were not working properly They did send someone up but they didn’t fix the issue The pool area was nice, the staff were friendly for the most part Room was clean

Eric Saunders

The staff at the hotel is great, they are consistent and professional The bar is fantastic The two bartenders I met were great, the drinks were amazing

The reason why I am giving 1 star is the actual facilities The hotel is run down, out of date and poorly maintained You can see damage to the exterior of the building as you drive in The rooms were dusty the ceilings you can tell were obviously painted over to hide water damage I did not feel comfortable enough to take my shoes off in the room If it wasn’t that I had already pre paid for the hotel, I would have checked out immediately after seeing the room I have stayed here before in previous years but this time was the worst The staff is not at fault of how management has allowed this building to go down I will be in the Philly area again in the next coming weeks and trust I have booked elsewhere

Remember to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking any resort They compare thousands of booking web sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later on! This place is one of the most well known in this area

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you stay for a few days you for sure won’t be disappointedWe had a great visit to the Nassau Inn The hotel is clean, efficient and centrally located The rooms have abundant natural light, are clean and have nice large comfortable beds

I want with a big group and we had 2 floors completely booked Their was a beach right off the back of the hotel Some rooms varied in size,I was very lucky to have a really big room

None of the rooms were small, just some were bigger than others It’s around a 10 minute walk to the convention center It was worth it for the beach access and cleanliness of the hotel I can say that I really enjoyed my stay

Ron Goodwin

A quaint hotel with wonderfully appointed rooms Close parking 🅿️ for 20$ a day The location for me was perfect

I could walk to great restaurants and historical places of interest Front desk support was good Concierge was another thing though I would have appreciated local insights to food choices or even reservation help where I could not have got in I waited for 20 minutes and finally gave up and went back to Yelp 😂 Definitely would stay here again

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at the Pineapple Inn The reasons are many but the main reason was the service, although the rooms are great and the location and grounds around the Inn are quite lovely The food was also fantastic and very accommodating to a Gluten-free traveler, but it was the staff, that especially made the stay feel like home

The Inn keeper Lori was not only a good cook but a wealth of information about the surrounding towns and activities happening nearby After a day of sight seeing my wife and I could relax by the pool or nap the garden hammock A nice getaway even if we never left the property We will definitely return soon ❤️

Jeanette Eichele

This place was just incredible The staff are friendly and wonderful, the rooms are pretty and clean, the grounds are gorgeous, and the breakfast was amazing! We were here for a girls’ weekend and we all had a fabulous time The dip in the pool was so lovely

Sitting on the front porch in the morning drinking coffee and listening to the birds chirp was so relaxing We are breakfast out there each morning as well and the food and the service were just wonderful Rebecca is so sweet and what a cook I can’t say enough about this B&B

Chris Hovanec

My husband and I stayed at the Pineapple Inn for a couple of nights after our wedding day as a “Mini-Honeyoon” When we pulled up, I could not believe how gorgeous the house and grounds were and that there was actually a room available for us onlineLori was a great host! As a chef myself, I can say the breakfast was certainly quite delicious

Broiled pineapple with coconut and brown sugar? Yes please Caramelized French toast? Don’t mind if I do! She was also very friendly and recommended several restaurants in New Hope, which is 10 minutes away and a very easy driveThe Purple Martin suite we stayed in was absolutely gorgeous and reasonably priced for that amount of space Honestly, I was gobsmacked Everything was super clean and wonderfully decorated Plenty of space in the suite too Very nice quality soaps, lotion, etc in the bathroom as well, which I am very particular aboutThe grounds were great as well There is a coy pond and several private outdoor areas to relax in The pool is located inside of a stone structure that used to be a barn Really very cool looking and relaxing Plus, a hammock (which I fell asleep in)This will 100% be our place to stay whenever we visit New Hope We can’t wait to go back

Not worth the price Pool and hot tub were both out of service They would only provide one crib but we have 2 children under 3 years old so this was frustrating

Poor service at the bar and my children found a partially eaten Oreo on the floor of our cleaned room Have stayed here before but will look for another option for our next visit

Gary Murdock

This was a beautiful hotel, but it’s certainly not within walking distance to any amenities And we had some issues as soon as we checked in Once we arrived we were told that one of the rooms out of the two that we had booked for a family vacation, was not available a 1 King 2 Queen 2 bedroom 2 bathroom suite was not available, we were very disappointed to say the least, but they did make it right by giving us a total of three rooms for the price of two

When they were going over the hours of the facilities, they said the pool was closed, I thought they were talking about at that moment, she said no, it’s closed permanently It’s been closed for two years, well that was another major disappointment!!! We had three grandkids with us and we were all looking forward to having a nice refreshing swim, after visiting Sesame Place, there should have been a large banner in bold print on their website stating that the pool was out of commission, because we likely would not have stayed here if we would have known that at the time of bookingThen once we came back after spending the day out with the family, my son got into his room then the red light started to flash, after going to the front desk the girl reactivated his key, but that didn’t take care of the issue, so he couldn’t leave the room anymore that evening as he wouldn’t be able to get back into the room, there was no maintenance staff available until the next day, and I find that totally in excusable!!! What happens if your toilet breaks or springs a leak, wait until the next day? There should always be someone available!!!We then went down to the front desk to get some snacks and drinks from the concession area and the girl that was supposed to be working the front desk was on our floor the fourth floor and she said she would be right down, she never did come down in the 15 minutes that we waited, so we helped ourselves, also there was someone waiting to check in and couldn’t, there was no one around to help him out, what a way to run a hotel!!! We did pay for our snacks and drinks the next day when there were more people at the front desk I believe you should have more than one person running a hotel of this size in the evenings, because your customer service is lacking in a big way!!!However, on a positive note, the suites were really nice and spacious, but some do need the sofa bed cushions replaced, the breakfast was great, with a good selectionBut after the issues that we experienced, we likely won’t be back

Marshall

This was a great experience Not too far from Sesame, close enough to stay for the night A quieter area than sesame, which was nice

The breakfast was fantastic and had fresh choices for everyone The room was well prepared, clean, and comfortable Staff at the front desk was more than willing to go out of their way to help We arrived on a Wednesday when they had an evening social that included soup, salad, cheese, crackers, chips, wine, and beer A nice surprise We also enjoyed the pool and the patio with grills was beautiful Thanks for taking care of us, Homewood Suites!

Naomi S.

We chose this hotel because of the proximity to Sesame Place and all the other hotels in the area were booked As many of the hotel reviews indicate, this hotel is dirty We have a small child with us, so we came prepared to sanitize the room, and it really needed it

There was visible dirt on doors as we wiped them down The outside perimeter of the bathtub was visibly dirty and the carpet under the AC units have not been cleaned well in some time The grates on the AC unit in room 404 are broken and we had to make sure the child with us did not stick his hands inside The furniture in the living room needed to be upgraded, especially the sleeper sofa You can feel the springs poking into your back as you sleep Also, there was no bath soap available in the shower The front desk said that their delivery had been delayed, but this is inexcusable The hotel could have, and should have separately purchased soap for bathing

I attended a special event here, so its not really a dining experience There is a decent size event space where there were over 100 people in attendance It was tight and frankly, a little hot

The food and drink were good and the people were nice and helpful There is a nice bar that looked inviting There is no parking lot, so you must find street parking or use one if the nearby municipal lots Its a cool historic building, so you get the charm, but also the issues with old buildings

Kirsten Finsterbusch

We had both of our kids’ birthdays at Temperance and have dined there too This a gorgeous establishment, with incredible historical value and very reasonably priced The food is absolutely delicious and the service is worth every penny

If you want to visit a historical venue and get delicious food, this is the place for you!! Plus, they will accommodate their menu for your littles too 🙂

This was my first time here I Finally got a night out after a few years and we chose this place from good reviews Service sucked

We waited 45 minutes after ordering food and drinks There were 2 groups that came in 20 minutes after us and they got drinks before us Okay, I understand it’s only one bartender but why did the others received drinks before us when we waited 45 minutes with nothing We left and will never come back

We took our toddler to sesame place for one overnight stay The staff was very friendly and accommodating They delivered a pack and play to our room and the way the suite was set up was great since we were able to sleep separately from our toddler

Everything was very clean The breakfast buffet was fresh and tasty with lots of options The nicest thing about our stay was the included shuttle ride to Sesame Place and back Not only did it save us money on parking at the park but Lori, our shuttle driver was absolutely amazing! She told us about places to eat and local events She gave us tips about the park, the had children’s music on in the shuttle and gave snacks and cold water on our way back after a long hot day The shuttle is decorated adorably with all the Sesame Street characters She was also very helpful in loading and unloading our stroller I will absolutely stay at this hotel if we take another trip to Sesame Place and will look for this type of hotel on future trips! (Just be careful when booking as a package, somehow the park tickets were not included in the package I booked)

Katie Z

I stayed in this hotel because it was the only option in the area with any type of suite available The cost was reasonable and the entire staff, from management to housekeeping, was extremely friendly and helpful When I asked for anything – information, extra towels, a comforter, I got it quickly

There is a pull-out bed/couch in the main room and unlike the photos online, there is actually a sink area closed off by a separate door before you get to the bathroom or bedroom VERY nice for parents wanting to sleep separately from the kids The hot breakfast was pretty much what you’d expect from a Marriott – waffles, scrambled eggs, yogurt, oatmeal, etcThe reasons for the three star review are lack of cleanliness and comfort The bed was hard as a rock After a five night stay my back is killing me I don’t know how that thing passed for a mattress but it was awful When I arrived at the hotel, there was some dried-on brown stuff on one of the towels, disgusting stains on the comforter, and hair on the sink that wasn’t any of ours The dirty items were at least replaced upon request The hotel is still not doing housekeeping during each guest stay, but I at least expect a clean room when I arriveThe walls are extremely thin and you can hear everything, including crying children in adjacent rooms, talking/suitcases rolling outside, and people peeing in their toilet next door I was on the first floor and there was a light constantly on outside The curtains block light but you have to put something against the seam to prevent light from coming through The smoke detector in the bedroom had lights that flashed all night They allow smoking and pets and you can smell both in the hallwaysThis hotel has the potential to be much nicer with some upgrades and policy changes The staff is wonderful and it’s close to Sesame Place with a free shuttle

Sybil Morley

Great hotel for visiting sesame place We had a king studio with 2 adults and 2 children We were visiting with another family, also 2 adults 2 children

We were disappointed to not get adjoining rooms, booking the package through sesame place was not very smooth–unsure if there were issues with their site or what (we booked a few months ago so maybe resolved) There was a full sized fridge, and stove top and microwave The bathroom had dispensers with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, I brought my own, so can’t comment, but they were available We brought our own pack and play, so also can’t comment on infant accommodations Hotel included an average hotel breakfast, eggs, sausage, waffle makers, French toast sticks, cereals, etc The shuttle, and the driver Laurie, were fantastic Laurie really went the extra mile and was friendly, provided information about the area, makes sure everyone gets back to the hotel, and when she was about to pull out she noticed our group leaving and circled back around to pick us up and had cold water and snacks for the group

My husband and I stayed here (for the second time) last night, and we had a wonderful time We had also visited the Inn last summer, and we are huge fans The grounds are absolutely pristine; lush green landscaping, hammocks hanging from weeping willow trees, a gazebo, outdoor pool and hot tub – you name it! The groundskeeper and chef is extremely friendly and skilled, with a cute and friendly dog! The inside is also cozy and clean, and the host Michael is so friendly and warm, providing snacks, tea, coffee and water for the guests

It was our second time in the English Manor suite, which we loved The bed is comfy and the room is spacious and immaculate The bathroom has both a jacuzzi and wonderful shower with multiple jets! One of our favorite features of the Inn is the breakfast overlooking the pool Upon being seated, you are offered French press coffee, a variety of juices, fresh fruit and delicious blueberry muffins! This is followed by a selection of specialty dishes, such as a full English breakfast, pancakes, or Belgian waffles, just to name a few We look forward to returning again next summer (and plan to keep the tradition going every year)!

The Inn at Bowman’s Hill is an amazing place to stay The grounds and pool are breathtaking It is a perfect getaway to escape for the weekend

The room and bed/bedding were high quality and so comfortable It is so private and quiet, but you are minutes away from great restaurants and shops in New Hope and Lambertville Mike, the owner is a gracious host, and the breakfasts we had were amazing and kept us full all day Thank you for your hospitality and for keeping your property pristine The Inn is definitely a unique and very special place We can’t wait to come back!

christine stewart

My fiancé and I stayed at the inn for a little valentines getaway We stayed in the penthouse suite and were blown away by the beautiful grounds, property, room, views from our private terrace, etc even in the dead of winter it was breathtaking! We can not wait to stay again when the pool is open and flowers are in full bloom

The owner and inn keeper were so sweet and took such good care of us They really made our romantic night extra special and were so personable Next morning, we were sitting in the sun room surrounded by lemon trees, and the breakfast was absolutely amazing! We couldn’t thank them enough The twilight LED lights over the jacuzzi tub with a complimentary bottle of champagne on ice was exactly what I needed to ease my stress This is our favorite -getaway from it all- and it’s only 10 min from home! I highly recommend this place!! If only we could have our wedding there… it would be perfect!C Stewart

Outstanding hotel Great location Breakfast was great and the staff is top notch

The rooms are lovely and plenty big Very neat and clean, but these rooms DO need better lighting In-room safes would be a plus as well Other than those minor things, I would absolutely stay here again if my travels bring me to this area in the future

Kevin Black

Only stayed one night, really nice Hotel, right near six flags and many restaurants, room was clean Pool was great, many other dun amenities like mini golf and other games One issue we had was we were on the 4th floor and the window would not lock, with 2 young kids was certainly a concern but we reported to management and they were concerned and said they would address

Overall great stay

CHECK YOUR BANK STATEMENT! I purchased a room for my parents for 2 nights for my moms birthday They had a great time Very nice hotel

HOWEVER, I was charged for things that my parents never did I called the hotel and the response was pretty much oh ok, we’ll give that back to you They did give it back but thank God I check my statement on a regular or I wouldn’t have known So I’m not saying they do this on purpose hoping that people don’t check, maybe they do, maybe they don’t What I’m saying is, if you decide to stay here, check you bank statement and make sure they did not charge you for some extra stuff

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay here! The Inn is charming, (from the 1700’s,) we loved the crown molding, the old wood floors, the fireplaces

even the door locks to the rooms! We were celebrating my birthday and Lydia baked a chocolate cake and had it waiting for us in our room for after we returned from dinner, (with fresh raspberries and ice cold milk!) It was amazing! I can’t decide if that or the breakfast the next morning was my favorite part – her cooking was out of this world It was our first trip anywhere since Covid and we felt totally pampered and comfortable My only regret is not having booked more than one night there – definitely would love to go back the next time we want a romantic weekend away from the kids!

Ben Myers

We stayed at the inn for 2 nights this month and had a wonderful time! The property is gorgeous and well-maintained, and Lydia prepared absolutely amazing breakfasts for us She also gave us great advice on local attractions and restaurant options for lunch and dinner We felt completely pampered and look forward to returning again soon!

Coni Porter_YouTube

Lydia is a wonderful Inn Keeper, creating truly amazing breakfasts and full of helpful tips in the area The rooms were spacious (better than shown in many of the photos) and the history of the place was an added intrigue Highly recommended

One note is that access to the rooms is by stairs, pretty steep – something I tried to find out by looking at the room descriptions on the website

I planned a trip to Sesame place with my family of 3 and this was a hotel park of the package Well I have to say I could not have been happier! The staff was so kind & gracious Always ready to help & always easy to find! We received a complimentary breakfast with our package & this is usually something my husband & I would skip out on but it was delicious! Tons of options & the stuff running it was extremely helpful! The rooms were super clean & kept very well

They are a great size with room for families to play I believe this truly made the trip so much better being in a clean & happy environment The pool was also very clean & always open late which was a great plus! Thank you Marriot for an outstanding time ! We will be back 🙂

Big thanks to the courtyard staff! All were accommodating to me and my family They made our little stay feel very welcomed! I want to say Chris at front desk and James who at the time handled the food areas were exceptional with customer service! Everything from warm welcome to conversation and communication these two nailed it I stayed in the king sized room with sofa bed

My room was clean and I really loved the Covid-19 protocols being taken at the courtyard Complimentary sanitary wipes are given in rooms, and sanitation stations are available throughout the hotel I feel housekeeping was definitely on point with cleanliness The amenities of having a indoor pool and gym was also great! Pictures online are spot on Their lobby is very spacious and updated The bistro cafe is a nice touch Very family friendly seeing how most guest are sesame place visitors! I will definitely book in future!

As we finish our relaxing weekend stay at Barley Sheaf, I am compelled to sing the praises of this location Prior to our arrival, when unforeseen circumstances had affected the original room we had reserved, the owner went above and beyond to accommodate us and ensure our satisfaction Our stay since has been extremely enjoyable, from the incredible service of the staff and gourmet meals (dinner at the restaurant was superb, as was the complimentary breakfast) to the peaceful grounds and lovely room

I would recommend this location to anyone seeking a relaxing or romantic getaway The 5 stars are well deserved!!!

We came here to catch up with friends for dinner and the service was excellent We hadn’t seen each other in months, so thank you for giving us time to catch up before taking our orders We were able to take our time and really enjoy the meal

If you come here, be sure to get the chocolate pudding cake – it’s heaven! They also give you a cookie to take home which is icing on the cake of a great evening Thank you for such a great dinner – now I just need to try the brunch!

Wow, what a place! Such a slice of tranquility just a short drive from Philly Was here for a wedding and we were so glad we had the opportunity to stay overnight at the Inn – in the Hello Sweetheart cottage in particular Sure the clearance is comically short in sections (at least for a 6’2” guy) but the uniqueness of the space (including a below-ground jacuzzi

most excellent), comfort of the bed and excellent shower more than made up for the slight inconvenience of contorting or ducking to account for some wacky ceiling angles Add on a very gracious and helpful owner and probably the most impressive and delicious included-breakfast in Pennsylvania, and the place is a dream Excellent venue for a wedding, too Just had a wonderful time overall and wish we could’ve stayed longer! Will be back for sure
