The facility it self was nice Clean bathrooms and showers (you have to pay) They had an air conditioned game room with a pool table

The pool was refreshing We tent camped and it felt like we weren’t apart of the campground The sites were on the other side of the creek with no restrooms on that side The flies and bees were terrible at our site There was a food truck on site!

It’s nothing special Clean Nice people

But it is not worth the cost $207 total for 2 people and 2 old little dogs for one night! I’ve stayed in nice resorts with much more to offer than a place to sleep and microwave omelettes for the cost of this place It’s not even warm enough for their tiny pool to be open yet, and any nearby ski slopes are long closed for the season

My stay experience was nice The room was very clean and up to date Ac worked nicely, shower had great pressure (shower heads could use some updating) and the beds were comfy imo

The staff was very friendly as well There is a dollar store, subway, Dairy Queen, Rutters and an Arbys right next to the hotel The only thing I wish there was more of would be places that deliver The only delivery option was a Dominos and Pizza Hut unless you use Door Dash All in all you can’t beat it for $100/night

Have stayed here several times over the years Just above average, initially, but it has deteriorated July ‘22 was the most recent visit: curtains were shredding, shower curtain rail and towel rack above the toilet were about to fall out of the wall

Next door, significant noise and headlights were an all-night-long feature from travel center customers Bed was uncomfortable and there were barely any blankets Breakfast is basic If there were more choices in Mifflin Co they could not charge what they do Search hotels in nearby State College because the other hotel chain within a few miles of this one, although nicer/newer, is managed by the same people according to an employee If you must stay here request a room that does not face Rutters

We had a family wedding at this venue It was an amazing experience It’s was moderately priced but it was a 5 star experience

The rehearsal dinner was great on a Friday night with the liveMusic Staff were so accommodating friendly and helpful The wines were all good First time I ever drank a lemonade infused with bourbon fantastic The girls stayed over in the home on the property the night before and had a blast Everything was wonderful, no complaints They had to cater out but it wasn’t bad they accommodated the caters and they could shop around Everyone had such a great experience

2022 was our second overnight visit to Juniata Valley Winery to celebrate Valentines Day Therewere fresh flowers on every table, a dinner that satisfied the palate and the tummy, and a liveband And please, let’s not forget the incredible wine! We stayed the night and slept wonderfully in our clean and historical room

The eventdirector, Molly, was not only kind and inviting, her energy was contagious! We lookforward to attending again!

If I could give more stars I would! Every single thing about our wedding at JVW was incredible From the range of services offered, the quality of those services and just the amount of work the entire staff including the owners put in to make your day special is remarkable Other services they offer that we went with was- In house caterer- Weekend package with Wilson House accomadations- In House Bar- Plated/ butlered meals- Grazing table for cocktail hour- And most importantly the wedding coordination package with Molly!Molly literally made our day 1000 times better and if you have a wedding here and don’t hire her than you’re doing yourself a disservice!! I would have payed double for her services, weddings can be stressful enough with the planning and execution and she does it with ease

Her attention to detail and organization made the life of every other of our 8 vendors lives easier and all of them mentioned that she made their jobs so much easier and their duties clear I can’t say enough great things about her Thank you MollyOur grazing table was a huge hit and added such a nice elegance to our cocktail hourAs I mentioned before, from the owner, the servers, bartenders, Wilson House staff and tasting room staff were all amazing So very nice and helpful to our wedding party and guestsYou get what you pay for, and Juniata Valley Winery is a true example of that I wouldn’t change a single thing about our experience and we’re so thankful to all included!!!

Room was super clean, bed was comfy Smaller than usual parking lot Quiet location and easy access from and to the highway

Only draw back was there is no refrigerator or microwave in the room Great price!! I was on a delivery for my transport and needed somewhere to stay overnight but not too expensive to keep from eating into my profit Scot was super with making my reservation and checking in And friendly! English/American staff++Would definitely stay here again!!

Made a reservation online for Sunday to Monday because I was on my way home from a concert and had a migraine so I booked the room at 12am Sunday The online details explained nothing about a check in time or check out time When I arrived they told me I had booked for the next day even though it was technically Sunday and my check in wasn’t until 3pm

So they made me pay for another additional room but did give me a 20% discount and I was unable to get a refund for the room I had booked originally I found this to be very unprofessional and misleading especially since no check in time was given when I made the reservation online

The best experience in a long time at a hotel First good thing was it wasn’t staffed by a lazy foreigner,, who spoke poor English and looked at me like he couldn’t care less if I got a room or not Now, the American born staff wasn’t super friendly the day shift lady was professional and did smile a little

The night time guy Scot was somewhat rude when I asked him if I could be separated from the other guests, because I wanted a quite atmosphere He said “you are at a hotel! I could put you by yourself but the next shift might put someone next to you ” My thought was, this is 9pm, was there another shift coming on He had good points but I didn’t like the way he said it All in all it was the best experience I have had in a long while I know I am kinda picky but I am the reason they have a job If I was a nanager I would emphasize with my staff that being friendly, smile, be professional and helpful, and pretend like you like your job will gp a long ways But again it was far and above my experiences I have had at other hotels Thanks, Zan Strom
