Tonya, I hope you read this You’re amazing You went above and beyond for me, and after Murphy’s law ruling my trip since 4am that morning, that means a lot to a weary traveler that saw your place at around 9pm that night

Thank you so much for everything you did for me and continue to do for others You deserve a raise I love the level of the security at your hotel, and all of the staff were super nice and accommodating Thank you You guys made my trip less stressful, and I will be booking again!

Expensive but mediocre stay No soap in my room I asked twice at the desk, twice, and they couldn’t find any

One lamp in my room had no light bulbs My bed must have been made by a toddler: the fitted sheet was placed over the flat sheetThere was a barking dog on the 5th floor Breakfast server was slow to replenish foodThe good location allows this Inn to get away with this kind of service

Been coming here since the 60s Boat, fish and crab the local waters and like the slower pace of St Marys Wife suggested we find a place to bring the grands for a week in the summer

Took a ride to the end and got out and walked around checking it out Very dissapointed to say the least Nothing like it once was Extremely run down and in need of updating Wife got back in the car real quick

Discriminatory doesn’t even cut it when it comes to describing their pet policy It’s honestly gross and shameful But don’t let that be the only reason to deter you from staying here

The facilities absolutely suck Management clearly doesn’t give at all about quality of one’s stay in the dirty cottages with things falling apart everywhere, people packing in like sardines and a joke of rates for said trash facilities Awful experience that won’t change until this place either gets swept away by a hurricane or goes under new management that gives a $h!t

Some staff members are great, like Felisha Others maybe not so much There was dried mud clumps on carpet 10 feet from front desk for 2 whole day’s, big pieces that could have been swept up easily

No it was Not new mud each day! Somebody threw apples against the door and that mess was there all day The front desk phone rings on and on some nights, waking up people in rooms near front desk Walls are so thin every word is easily heard during normal conversation in adjoining rooms, so watch what you say! But it is clean and is in a very convenient location to PAX River Naval Base

I’ve never had a problem with a TownePlace Suites until now This building is so horribly constructed Every footstep from the room above me shook the cabinets and sounded like an elephant walking on the ceiling

Couldn’t get any sleep on my last night before my 2 am departure for the airportOther than the stampede upstairs, the hotel is great, always clean, nice staff, hot breakfast But being on the first floor and trying to sleep with the circus parade upstairs ruined it I even walked the hallway upstairs and stepping lightly I could hear my footsteps echoing below, there’s just no isolation between the floors

jackie simpson

This the second worst Marriott hotels that I have stayed at I reserved a 2 bedroom room, but the front desk clerk gave me a key to a single room I went back to the front desk and was advised the 2 bedroom room was just cleaned, but it seem the maid did a rush job

The sofa bed mattress was very dirty, there was cold air coming from the unit without it being on The was the second worst Marriott that I have stayed at and would not recommend to no one

Steve and Shawn were amazing host My husband and I actually got married here and Steve officiated our wedding We stayed in the Solomon’s Sunset room and it exceeded our expectations

It was so comfy and cozy We received a 3 course breakfast every morning of our stay and it was delicious My husband is a picky eater and he ate everything! The couple is very personable and made us feel loved and welcomed We were greeted with cookies in our room and received some for the road as well We are looking forward to our next stay here If you are looking for a nice getaway by the water with hot, fresh, homemade food definitely stay here Also, if you’re looking for a small intimate wedding venue definitely check out the elopement packages on their website

Perfect for a weekend couples trip My wife and I wanted to get out of the city for the weekend, and we feel so blessed to have found this place Steve and Shaun are absolutely superb hosts

Their home is gorgeous, the rooms are warm and comfy, the showers great Breakfast was different on both days, with very tasty three-course servings The location is nice and quiet, but close enough to walk to numerous bars and restaurants We would very much recommend this place and hope to visit again

John Arey

From the time of our arrival to our very accommodating early morning check out, Steve and Shawn provided a warm and welcoming stay in Southern MD Breakfast was phenomenal, filling, and made for a great start to every day We even had a bagged breakfast waiting for us on checkout

We also looked forward to our text reminders of the baked cookies in the afternoon! Our room was comfortable and private with a nice view of the water This is also very walkable to many of the restaurants and sunrise/set locations on Solomons Island We would stay again in a heartbeat!

This place is awesome From the time you walk in for check-in until the time you check-out you are greeted with warm friendly faces My elderly father who has dementia and my brother who is his caregiver replaced here for three and a half months due to Renovations being done on my parents house and my dad had two medical issues and the staff were amazing and helping to Aid my brother and my dad’s caregiver the help in a that they needed

They truly made all of us even when I came up to help reset my parents house and got a room there they truly made us feel like we were a part of a family

This hotel is over-all clean and staff seemed friendly However there were two things that stuck out that made things uncomfortable As a Hilton Honors member, We used out App for contactless check in

Upon arrival to the room, the kitchen trash was still full with the previous tenants mess (ie a welcome package & an empty wine bottle) The refrigerator door was filthy and bathroom counter has something sticky leftover We cleaned these ourselves as we still did not desire to have any contact with extra people during COVID The biggest thing that was bothersome was the size of the beds The ad for this room stated a queen bedroom suite We measured the bed and CONFIRMED it was 75″ long by 54″ wide – A FULL bed not a queen Queens are hard enough to sleep in when you are over 6ft tall, a full bed is to say the least difficult Just be mindful that although the accommodations are presentable, they are smaller in person than in the pictures online

Took a day trip here to visit the local attractions and thought the stay was very comfortable The staff are friendly and the rooms are very spacious with separate bedrooms and living areas The hotel has its own pier and the restaurant next door has great drinks! We had a beautiful view of the sunset from our room which was well worth the price

T. Harkins

Staff was unprofessional and rude to my disabled adventure buddy The GM literally got mad at me for the staff not doing their job I didn’t know until the morning of check out that my friends bed appeared to have food and makeup stains all over it neither of us wear make up, so wasn’t from us

GM basically yelled at me and accused me of lying about our stay Nobody answers the desk phone, so the only way to address anything is in person and they yell at you for not fixing it Room was super dirty too Wish I could add pictures hereTowels are old and so thin they’re about to rip White bedding is stained and not really white Shower head malfunction resulted in water everywhere; I was advised to clean it up then I had to beg for more towels and the removal of old towels They literally had to step over old wet towels to leave new towels2 starts for location and river views Balcony was nicest part As long as we we’re out on adventures we had a great trip I’m so grateful it didn’t rain and we didn’t need to be in the room all weekend I literally paid way too much for this experience

Mee Oh (Joy)

The only hotel in Saint George Island If you want to stay in very quiet and peaceful place with great views this is the one But don’t expect too much

Hotel itself isn’t very welcoming and sort of outdatedThe staffs didn’t look like professional Breakfast was not t even okay Nevertheless you will be amazed by 360 degrees awesome views with beautiful sunrise and sunset Don’t forget to visit Ruddy Duck Seafood and Alehouse, the restaurant right next door Their food was awesome!

Stay was excellent I always do feel at home when lodging here, and it’s always a very pleasant experience ☺ The last I was there , the kiddos were able to go swimming in the pool, and had such a blast! Michael H

is amazingly personable and hospitable as is Genine B they really care about your overall experience at this hotelDiane in the Breakfast hall is always so helpful with the meals, and so sweet! This place is always one of my first choices and I hope you will enjoy your stay as much as I always do!

I don’t understand why this hotel got a 4 star rating, AT ALL! Sherrie Jenkins, one of the managers, has NO professional skills She told my husband and I that she took her frustration out on us because of a previous conflict with another customer that had nothing to do with us She gave us a pathetic apology but still had a very bad attitude towards us

The housekeeper was making up her own rules and saying that she only does housekeeping every 3 days when the website says that it has daily housekeeping They have 1 washer and 1 dryer for 4 floors of rooms The washer takes $2 and doesn’t rinse the clothes enough and it comes out soaked and then it takes $2 per cycle to dry the clothes and it ends up taking $16 to dry them decently enough Mr Walker, the general manager, told us that this hotel is not designed for extended stays because it is a corporate town, in which I saw more vacation types of stays than corporate stays This one boujee, ghetto hotel DO NOT STAY HERE! This hotel is no good at all

P Venkman

Not up to usual Country Inn standardsPoor exterior sound insulation – loud busy roadPoor interior sound insulation – loud TVs and conversations

Lowest-quality towelsPoor water pressure and lukewarm showerCarpet, walls, ceilings, furniture stained – not horrible, but it’s overdue for renovationInsanely slow internet – 600kb/s according to speedtest

We were so pleased with every ounce of our experience at Back Creek Inn from the moment we walked in (and it’s not just because of the delicious homemade cookies in our welcome basket!) The check in process was simple and perfect for shy people like us The bedding was fully, freshly washed with ample pillows, the carpet was clearly new and fluffy, and the bed, while on the firmer side, was comfortable and far from the cheap bouncing mattress you encounter at many locations

The peppermint suite had a lovely porch for sitting and watching the boats on the dock at sunrise with a fresh cup of coffee made right in the room (No need to wait until breakfast for a fresh cup!) Breakfast each day in the quaint dining room was delicious, and the slice of breakfast loaf was such a welcomed, precious touch The crowning jewel of this B&B is absolutely the innkeepers, though! Each of the ladies were so genuinely kind and pleasant to be around They made us feel right at home from start to finish, and we honestly cannot wait to return!

San Rey

Our stay was wonderful We had a welcome basket in our room which included homemade cookies which we ate immediately I have dietary restrictions which were accommodated perfectly and my breakfast was delicious

We were lucky and had wonderful weather so we ate outside amidst the flowers in bloom and with a view of the creek with boats going by The staff were all very friendly and wonderful hosts Highly recommend this gem of a B&B!

Timothy Dull

It is an excellent and quiet place to stay The breakfasts are gourmet and individually prepared There are various style rooms with one being equipped for handicapped, another with its own sun porch, and one cottage

Make reservations well ahead as they fill up quickly particularly on Fall weekends For those coming in by boat they have a protected, deepwater slip available included in the B&B fee The owner is the hostess and many of the staff have been with her for a number of seasons Her art graces the walls and is available for purchase I have two of her waterfront paintings myself
