Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking a resort This site will compare hundreds of hotel sites and normally will have prices a lot cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in the area

I’ve been coming here for a very long time If you decide to stay here you won’t be let downEnjoyed the clean rooms, Beautiful off street parking at a small price, but luxurious hotel Me and my kids stayed at Christmas time and Truly Enjoyed ourselves, it was definitely a Christmas we want forget The Beautiful Christmas Trees, the coffee shop and the Restaurant inside saved us from going out due to COVID-19 restrictions our stay was Perfect And I will Be Back

A fun place to stay, perfect location for every need (walking distance to everything) Breakfast was really good and the service was greatHotel security are very nice and engaging with guests We really enjoyed our stay

Only downfall was I was expecting more out of the rooms They are standard rooms, nothing special Normal size, typical bathrooms Just on the small sizeWe didn’t have a giod view either, nor did my BIL on the floor above usOver all it was a good stay

Tony Yang

My stay here was great The front desk staff was friendly and upgraded me to a suite as a Platinum Elite member The room was very spacious with great views, but the washroom area was way too small given the size of the rest of the room

Not sure why such a small bathroom was planned for a hotel like this Had a nice dinner at the restaurant in the lobby and the waiter there Khalid was very energetic and attentive It was a lovely stay here and the location was great as well

The hotel has a nice location close to the uptown theater and the action on the plaza within walking distance The front desk staff is helpful and very nice The room itself has wear and tear, but out king room came with a nice sofa and table

Parking isn’t super easy because it’s a garage with separate elevator access, but it was fine

Thomas

Wants to be a 4 star, but not there $2800 Valet under staffed when we got there and the rest of the weekend

Had 350 guests for a wedding, shouldn’t have been a surprise Check in was okay, but not real welcoming Slow elevators, seemed like only one of four was working Ice machine on 15th floor never worked Room a/c wasn’t working until about 10:30 our first night Toilet ran every 10 minutes Bridgette was the first friendly employee we ran into Breakfast hostess was nice and breakfast was good, but overpriced Wedding reception with 350 guests had two bars with a minimum of 15 minute service wait All issues can be excused to staffing issues, and I don’t like leaving negative reviews, except I expressed concerns on the Marriott Bonvoy site and was ignored Good service goes a long waypoor service, not much

Mama Bearnath

Will stay at this hotel again! Chance at the front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly the views of the Plaza were amazing and I loved having coffee in my room while looking out at the fountains The shower door punched our fingers but we had to be mindful of not putting our finger on the handle while getting out of the shower I loved the detachable shower head, made it easy to wash the kiddos after a humid day!

Stayed at this location in the past with the exact same scenario, this time was different…I need to move my reservation arrival forward 1 day prior to my arrival so I called and spoke to the front desk They rebooked my reservation AT THE CURRENT RATE Which added $20 a night to my rate

When I ask why and told them as a Lifetime Platinum Member this was the first time this has happened they told me to call and speak with the manager Thanks Check out was even more fun The team needed to depart for another client early I notified the desk of the change in plans after ‘checkout’, which we have had no trouble with in the past This time, Charged a full night stayThis is the last time we will stay here What is the point of being loyal (Lifetime Platinum) when I get this treatment? Garbage We won’t be back

Angi Harrison

We stay in hotels weekly for work and we like to have breakfast there in our hotel Which has become an issue for one very simple thing I don’t eat cheese and all the hotels we stay in serve breakfast covered in cheese

well Ms Amanda with her gracious self went above and beyond to make sure I had something not covered in cheese to eatthat act alone made this hotel a yes

Andrew Buchanan

I want to preface this review by saying that I travel extensively for work In the last few years that I have submitted reviews, sadly and most unfortunately, they are negative The accommodations in the new and brave Covid world has resulted in

what I call a decline of service and quality This brings me to my current review of Town Place Suites in Liberty, Missouri The accommodations here are, like most places, adequate and acceptableLiberty is a town that I frequent often, and I have the choice to stay in any location that I like I choose to stay here for one specific reason Abbi, the bartender Abbi is what has made this place a home to me It is so rare to meet an intelligent and ambitious individual capable of connecting with people and making them feel at home wherever they are from Abbi has made this place a shining star in my book, I have stayed here many nights, and although I have not always spent time at the bar, she has always been here, ensuring that her patrons are supported and taken care of with a gentle and positive healthy attitude I tend to be cynical due to the decline across the country, but Abbi has been able to restore my faith and kept me a loyal customer If you have the opportunity to visit or pass through, this is where you need to stop at and pull up a chair to visit I have watched her shine through some of the most challenging situations that even a seasoned bartender would balk at, every time without fail, she has been able to handle it with grace and perfect poise The atmosphere in a small bar feels like you are at home and you are welcomed and belongBy all means, come for the accommodations but stay for the unique and excellent service provided here by the all star bartender Abbi

Room had a weird musty smell, breakfast was trash, and the hot tub was not hot, or clean The pool is super small When i voice concerns about the hot tub not being hot, was told “sorry it isn’t up to your standards” snottily from the woman working the front desk

Had to pay a whole day even though i checked out 2 hours late I understand if you checkout late you need to pay, but i was checking out because the hotel was a dump i wasn’t late i was dissatisfied Short story long just don’t stay somewhere else We’re now at the Embassy Suites for about the same price

Susan Little GM was awsome!! After having such a horrible horrible experience at another hotel and then trying to find other hotels to stay they say 3rd time is a charm and it was!!Thank you so much for the hospitality and compassion with our previous incident!! We really enjoyed it and will definitely be back at some point

Brien Hunsaker

Today I experienced possibly the worst experience you can have with a hotel My wife works for Marriott and we booked five rooms around 2 months ago Marriott has a deal where you can get an associate rate for your spouse and for your parents

You can also book for your friends and family that are traveling with you for additional rooms at a little higher rate but lower than full price Sometime during our 6-hour journey to the hotel today, the general manager (Susan Little) called and left a voicemail that they could not honor the rates that were booked online I guess they had no time to notify us in the previous 60 days? Since she did very little to try to help us out today I now I can understand her last name Anyhow, when we got there she said the policy only allowed us to get two rooms and I said the policy said we could get two rooms at the associate rate and additional rooms for immediate family at the friends rate She said she had worked there for 10 years and knew the policy backwards and forwards and I was wrong and she was only going to give me two rooms at the associate rate and the rest would be $50 higher than what was booked My wife then went on to the Marriott website and signed in and print it off the sheet that shows the rate details which said as an associate you could get two rooms and additional rooms would be at the friends and family rate The general manager was then upset because I proved he wrong and she said she would not honor the friends and family rate I then asked for the phone number to corporate so I could call in a complaint after which the general manager, Susan Little, decided to cancel all of the rooms and now we had no rooms available to us We then went over to the Hampton across the street and after explaining Fairfield’s terrible customer service and treatment we received Hampton gave us a lower rate beating the Fairfield Inn associate rate which ended up being a much nicer hotel than the Fairfield Inn I would definitely check out the Hampton before checking in to the Fairfield inn And after this experience I will not be coming back to the Fairfield inn and suites by Marriott at Kansas City anytime in the future Attached is the policy so decide for yourself about the policy

Booked this hotel specifically for location and hot tub and checked in to find out there is not a hot tub despite being listed multiple places and in reviews Beware if this is a criteria for you! Otherwise my stay is fine Staff was very friendly and courteous

The shower was small and only a wall removable hand shower head which was not great However, we somehow ended up in a handicap room so this may be better in other rooms Room was clean and comfortable otherwise

Bishop Marcia Smith-Perkins

We were dissatisfied with an extended stay property down the street We left looking for another hotel to stay in and Hampton In & Suites was the first one I saw that I knew good things about And, well GOD is good and when I went in I was greeted with friendly, understanding and accommodating service from start to finish

The property as impeccable as far as cleanliness; amenities were great and my grandchildren enjoyed the pool, snacks and food available 24/7 I enjoyed my stay What started out as a bad experience in Liberty at the extended stay property ended up top of the hill comfort at Hampton Inn & Suites Thank you

What a great stay at this hotel! Staff were very nice and helpful The rooms and overall appearance of the hotel was nice and clean This establishment utilized their space well and thought of everything in regards to your needs

It has a safe, a nice wardrobe, and a great bench for holding suitcases as opposed to placing them on the floor I like that they didn’t have the tiny shampoos and conditioners, since I find them to be wasteful My husband loved the complimentary breakfast, they have quite the spread

You love old and dark rooms? You like small and old TV in your Room? You prefer the slowest elevator in the world? Welcome to Ambassador KC Seriously: One of the worst hotels of the autograph collection Absolutely overpriced

It’s more like an Residence Inn or similar low budget hotels The second star is for the front desk Sorry that I can not rate otherwiseBy the way: I have no idea why I, as a platinum member, was shipped to the old part of the building with a very bad view

aaron brown

We booked a special room for our anniversary and a couple hours before we checked in the a/c went out While we didn’t get to stay in the room we wanted, Arthur and the other front desk person (sorry for forgetting name) went out of there way to make the stay great Nice on site restaurant, have to walk a couple blocks to get to other things to do

Kris R

Visited the show for my bf’s birthday Had a group show up and we enjoyed the songs and liveliness of the crowd and performer Food was okay and consider you pay about$100 per person right off the bat which includes your choice of entree and the show, a one time visit is okay

Friends had a good time and the space is very limited and with blocking columns, not all parties have the best view of the stage

The concierge staff and bartenders were incredible The hotel is new so everything is designed well and in excellent condition The rooms were comfortable and I found the shower water pressure to be great (I’m picky about this)

The room service breakfast is below expectations for this quality of hotel The bartender made a great Old Fashioned We loved how the hotel bar was lively with a good sized crowd but then there were plenty of break out lounge spaces nearby for privacy The hotel pool was small but the hot tub was large and very clean The exercise equipment was modern and clean with plenty of space for an workout I love how the fitness center had a lot of windows and mirrors The parking lot design was confusing because all the stairwells didn’t lead to each level with a door The elevator key didn’t always work

Krystal Frank

This hotel and staff was fabulous Very friendly Was impressed they had a little card with a running route on it(although I am not used to hills, wow)

The bar was nice and the bartenders were also really great The conference areas were clean, the food was great! Would 100% recommend and if I get the opportunity to come here again, I definitely would!

Bee Charintorn

Great impression since I walked in to the hotel! Nice lobby with a cool bar/restaurant area on the left There are several section of lobby so you feel privacy while doing a meetingRoom is modern, clean and great view of Kansas City downtown

I love the good quality do toiletries on the bathroomNice swimming pool and variety of gym equipmentThe highlight of my day is cocktail at the bar in the hotel! The design of the bar area is the imitation of bee hive! Nice cocktail, good selection of food with a reasonable price!

We stayed a couple nights and loved the experience The only downside was that some of the dining choices located within the hotel were limited, so we didn’t get to try them all as we had hoped The rooms were clean with a nice layout and plenty of storage

The hotel had a clean smell to it that we appreciated We would definitely stay here again! Within a close drive to all sorts of food and sights to see, it was a great choice for us

YINKA DARE

The tiny smoking balconies in the hotel rooms are pretty awesome Pull out couch is not comfortable, but it is not too bad Food options are pretty poor

Could not find any food available after midnight on a Saturday night Nothing nearby outside of the resort either Casino floor is fine Strong enough police and security presence that everyone should feel safe whenever Soda vending machines did not work on at least three different floors Disappointing to not have some at least food vending machine options since everything closes so early The food options were severely lacking overall The room was nice and the king bed was comfortable The tiny smoking balcony is really the number one selling feature

Marci C

Nice place with lots of restaurants, (the buffet is closed for now due to covid, I miss the all you can eat crab night you was able to get there), fast food, drinking establishment, sports bar, even a movie theater and arcade for everyone else Hotel is clean and fresh Welcoming and warm

Definitely a place to relax Open parking and a parking garage plus valet parking If you just need a place to walk around to get exercise this is a good spot Lots of bright lights and inviting atmosphere Go see and enjoy!

This is a historical landmark, which adds to the charm of this beautiful prohibition era hotel The rooms are a nice size If you like to have a drink I definitely recommend the speakeasy which is hidden behind the front desk wall

You enter through a hidden door downstairs in the basement The bar lounge is beautiful though and has a decent amount of nicely appointed seating My only issue with this hotel sometimes is the front desk staff doesn’t seem to be attentive to the guests’ needs It’s like they don’t want to be there If that changed, I would definitely give this place 5 stars

Kimberly J

I was a bit worried to stay here after reading some of the other reviews but was pleasantly surprised While they clearly have staffing shortages and are having to cut some corners the overall experience is pretty good The rooms and decor are unique compared to your average hotel, and if you get the bathtub room you are in for a treat

My check in experience was smooth and my room was clean enough All of the important surfaces (bed, tables/chairs, bathroom fixtures, main areas of floor) were very clean and free of stains While I would expect a 4 star hotel to be spotless, I wasn’t planning on using the space behind the chair, so I didn’t mind too much that it was dusty Some of the fixtures and furnishings were defiantly showing some wear and tear and could do with a replacement The room did have a mini fridge and microwave that were both clean, and not advertised as being includedThe AC worked well, although the room did feel a bit damp It was 100 outside and very humid, but my room was able to hang out at about 67, and I was on the 19th floor The public areas however were very hot I don’t think the halls had any working AC at all They also used an air freshener scent in the lobby area that made me wonder if the hotel was hosting an axe body spray conventionOverall I would definitely stay here again They rooms and decor are a step above your average hotel The staff is friendly and the location is great I just hope they can shine up their rooms so that they can provide a truly unbeatable experience

Shelby Purdun

I was told that when I checked in I did not have breakfast included for the people in my stay, i took the employees word and it wasn’t until the third day of my stay that I was told otherwise So not only Did I pay for two adults per day(4 days, 3 nights) but then I paid for breakfast elsewhere and all that I was offered was two well drink vouchers which I was unable to use, not because they were denied but because it was closed during my available times (Visiting for business)Also, the restaurant is quiet but the food was good

I expected an Italian menu for the breakfast once I did check it out before checking out of my room, but it was a light American style Menu online site is not up to date!! The employees at that time were attentiveThe room was nice, felt crowded for a deluxe suite because of the larger coffee tableThe shower was so uncomfortable It is a half glass door and because of that you can easily get cold while showering If the switch on the wall aaa a heat lamp/fan, mine did not work and was very dusty under the cover the water pressure was OK, but the shower head pointed to the wall so no heater, poor pressure, and got chilly super easily I did expect a better bathroom due to no pics on the siteOn the features it lists a boutique, there is NO boutiqueLobby was clean and always immaculate, I just wish that the rooms/service was up to par An area for improvementThe historical features of the hotel were a nice touchOverall I rate this a 2/5 because the price is average per night here and it’s possible I could’ve stayed elsewhere and had a better experience

Don’t forget to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏᴄᴏm when booking your hotel This web site will compare countless booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! You’re welcome :)! This place is one of my favorites in this area

I have been staying here for a very long time If you choose this place you for sure won’t regret itWe are here every year for the Villain Arts Tattoo Festival and I have not been disappointed in 8 straight years! The area is clean, rooms are comfortable and they meet all of your needs I can’t say enough good things about the staff, each and everyone of them The concession workers for food and the bartenders for our show were and are always polite, friendly and just awesome workers I would recommend staying here for one night or a week every year like us

The Boss Babe

This hotel is lacking in amenities It should be ranked as a 3 starThe rooms are spacious, clean, and come with a view

Staff was very helpful and friendlyRegarding the amenities and the remaining stay…It was very difficult to grab a quick drink or cocktail as there’s no clear direction on restaurant services I don’t know if anything was even open The pool is antiquated and very disappointing It is not close to the rooms The hotel provided 4 pool chairs for their guests The rest of the guests were sitting on the concrete No poolside drink or food services I would not consider this area/pool of the hotel accessible to those with physical disabilitiesThe hotel appears to be better suited for conferences, corporate stays, or maybe weddings It was not a good fit for our needs

Easily a lovable experience The room (129) was excellent! Cleaner than any I’ve stated

the bathroom and shower was outstanding That is actually the feature I enjoy most at a hotel stay and compared to the Argosy, none hold up Dual head shower, easy to operate, excellent lighting, plenty of room the only reason I didn’t rate a 5 was one particular desk person was not friendly or engaging There was no microwave or blow dryer but there was plenty of outlets for electronics!! Best room experience I’ve had in my travels and dozens of hotels!!!

I have been staying here for a very long time If you stay for a few nights you definitely won’t regret itThe Argosy is hands down my favorite Casino in Kansas City! The gaming floor is fantastic, but the hotel rooms, well they are just amazing! If you haven’t stayed here before I highly recommend doing so! You won’t be disappointed, the showers alone will have you singing the Argosy’s praises!!!

C W

The hotel and restaurant staff are all super friendly and very accommodating The hotel room was nice, with some extras, but nothing spectacular In the traditional sense, there is no room service- just “brown bag” lunch between noon and 5 pm

If you want an actual meal, you have to go down to the concourse and wait for a table However, the food is delicious and the restaurant staff is excellent!
