Nick was great checking us in My daughter, baby and I checked into a nice roomy King handicap room facing the parking lot We were there to relax

We had a nice dinner at the restaurant and walk on the beach Then at 2:13 am there were 2 men looking at cars in parking lot A couple fighting in their room until 6am Tried calling front desk 3 times, no security and the reservation person said to go up to their room and knock on the door The people were screaming the “f” word and throwing stuffno way was I going to put myself in danger So no sleep that night In the morning I told front desk Seems it happened all the time because no one seemed really concerned Still charged full price and not sure if anyone checked on that room We were so excited to finally stay at the resort I think we will stay down the street and drive to the casino and restaurant the next visit

Robert Pfander

I had visited before and recently stayed in the area to go to the casino for the weekend I really like this casino They’ve got great views outside the casino, their nearby eatery was delicious and had amazing views, and their nearby hotel also had killer views (I did not stay at their hotel)

Most important – no smoking indoors! This made for a very clean and pleasant gambling experience The employees seemed happy and were clean and friendlyI didn’t win, but I still had an enjoyable time and will definitely return in the future

Rick Snow

I’m probably the last person to rate a casino, I don’t gamble When going in you immediately see swarms of people everywhere giving you a Vegas vibe, but it’s far from that The staff were helpful, the casino is clean, and there is a separate smoking area upstairs so it’s not full of cigarette smoke

The place is pretty dated (could use some paint and upgrades) The games are what you would normally see at any large casino, so in that respect if your looking to win your millions you can try your luck in a variety of ways The place is good to see once

Highly recommend staying at this place Great staff and great rooms that are very nice and the room was very clean! Fire pits are exceptional! Breakfast was good as wellWe brought our small well behaved dogs and had a great time! Some of the other dogs staying at the hotel were obnoxious and acted like barking rats! I could have tossed a couple off the beach cliff for the seagulls

Overall a great place and will definitely return!

Kozmo617

I was very pleased with this establishment I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels and had many hits or misses This place was a hit

The staff was friendly, the room was very clean and well maintained The rates weren’t bad and made it easy to choose this place over the many other in the area The room I got ruled and being able to head out to the fire with a drink by the ocean was the cherry on top Plus I was able to walk to a restaurant or two which made life easier I’ll be back soon

Amber

First time staying here and all around great place to stay! Great customer service and very attentive We travel with our two dogs everywhere and the lodge is very dog friendly which we all appreciated Our room was fresh and clean with great oceanfront views! The fire pits were also fun to sit out at night to enjoy

My wife in immune compromised due to cancer treatment so we are very concerned about the cleanliness of the locations we stay This location was by far the cleanest location we have stayed In the past I have felt I need to sanitize the kitchen and bathroom but not here

My wife and I and our four daughters came here for a reunion of sorts and are very satisfied The location with ocean and beach views is amazing and the service and property are beyond exaptationThe pictures on the property’s website are accurate and could have been taken the day before we arrived If you need anything Simon, the property manager, is right on it A wonderful experience

Michelle Featherby

The rooms themselves are large and nice, 2 bedroom condos Can’t beat the view But

We stayed in unit #31 It was a mess!! Thick layer of dust on every surface Floors not swept or vacuumed Found popcorn kernels all over Bed in the master bedroom is so old, you could see with your eyes how lumpy and sunken in it is My mom, who’s elderly and handicapped, suffered from it the whole timeToilet in master bath intermittently ran for no reasonThe living room furniture was just as bad It all looked nice but was very uncomfortable Only one recliner that wouldn’t really recline, and when you put the feet up it keep swiveling on its own so had to block it in place with a piece of fire wood Found one of the bolts for the coffee table on the floor and had to screw it back in by hand The television was so old we couldn’t even stream Netflix or anything There’s a DVD player, but no instructions on how to switch to itThe towel rack in the hall bathroom fell off when I touched it with the back of my hand The face plate for the plug in kept falling off every time I closed the doorThe stove burners were lifted up so the skillets wouldn’t stop sliding off, and some didn’t work at allThese units are on the expensive side, over $300 per night Expected way better!! Should at least have nice and comfortable furnishings for this high a price Definitely will not stay in this unit again Wouldn’t recommend it to anyone

Malon Metz

I selected this place for a very special Birthday celebration We were looking for some place close to restaurants, quiet with excellent beach access This place was great on all counts

The staff was unbelievably helpful and the facility was very clean I would recommend this to anyone and we will be back anytime we visit this portion of the Oregon Coast

Loved this hotel!! We had such a great stay here during our first trip to the OR coast The staff were so kind, the rooms were adorable, clean, and had an amazing view right on the beach The restaurant was amazing, our meals were so delicious and quick turnaround after ordering

The pool was out of order so they gave us a discount and one of the staff even offered my toddler a cute beach supply bucket and shovel kit for free So kind I have nothing bad to say about this place, will definitely recommend to others and hope to come back one day

Tina Giambanco

Very nice room with fireplace and comfy beds located right along the beach They were doing a bit of renovating, yet we didn’t experience any inconvenient banging or rerouting Very fair prices as well and located right near an amazing restaurant called Kylo’s

Truly enjoyed both location, quietness if the hotel and ease of beach walk to get the day started along with a jacuzzi soak Gym wasn’t open in time for morning use (doesn’t open until 10am) which was a disappointment, yet nothing that would stop us from booking again

Brittney Lee

Beautiful room, view and premises We had a wonderful time Surftides is a very family friendly hotel

The pool and hot tub was fantastic They also have a game room that you can play ping pong!!! They have a beautiful bonfire area and offer s’mores kits The only down side to this room was the beds, they were extremely hard and loud making them uncomfortable to sleep I enjoyed this stay so much I recommend it to anyone looking to stay for one night The beds are too uncomfortable for longer The Mist restaurant had a fancy menu but I would not recommended it for families

Cons: Needs some upgrading and fine tuning We stayed here with several other family members over Memorial Day The room we stayed in was next to the exterior hallway and you can hear cars driving by, and the lights outside (including an EXIT sign) make the room VERY bright at night when trying to sleep

Why are there no drapes?! Several doors wouldn’t close, and only needed to be pushed on lightly by 2 year old hands to barge in on you using the restroom/showering Shelves or cabinetry are needed in the bathrooms as well The only place to set toiletries is on the toilet (yuck) Wobbly/rickety dining room table either needs replacing or tighteningPros: Gorgeous views Fully stocked kitchen of supplies you would need Washer and dryer Separate bathrooms per room Grill and 2 patios Closet/dresser space Clean Outdoor walking path Pool/hot tub Responsive staff

Sarah Weedin

Great experience staying here Rooms are lovely Beautiful view of the ocean

Spacious closets and dressers for you to unpack all your belongs Nice cozy living room with a fireplace Highly recommend for a get away vacation Only a few minutes away from down town Depoe Bay if you wanted to walk Luxurous pools and hot tubs Indoor and outdoor swimming location

Daryl Walker

Absolutely beautiful condos located on the ocean Would give them 5 stars except for the fact that their marketing guy (You know, the one who tries to strong arm you into attending a presentation?) Because I didn’t want to be in the lobby any longer than necessary I agreed to sign up for a presentation and cancel if I decided not to attend

I’m an easy target because when he asked to see my credit card I assumed that it was to get my Wyndham rewards number Not I called later that night to cancel and was told I would need to call back when sales opened again at 8:00 am So on a single night getaway I had to set my alarm to call sales I called at 8:01 and was assured that card would not be charged but there would be a temporary hold of $40 My card had indeed been charged and I needed to enlist the assistance of a higher up customer/owner assistance person to eventually get my refund So for a one night get away with friends where I couldn’t sleep in for fear of being charged to not go to something that I didn’t want to attend in the first place and had to spend more than an hour on hold and telling my story to Worldmark personnel to get my $40 back Never experienced this $40 penalty before and will absolutely never agree to possibly attend another presentation again Great job, Worldmark! Way to alienate an owner who often spoke highly of the ownership program But the resort is beautiful and the front desk people were very nice

This is my second stay and it is just as wonderful as the first The staff is extremely helpful, friendly and service oriented The rooms are clean, smell good, and are well appointed

The breakfast buffet is well stocked with yummy and healthy choices There is a swimming pool and hot tub on site The grounds are beautifully landscaped The only negative about this preferred hotel is the parking The lot is large but the spaces are tightly packed with no room for oversize vehicles Arrive early, park well, and walk to the beach (only 8 minutes by foot) You will enjoy your stay

Kristina Stinnette

Came here for our first ever getaway and was definitely satisfied with our stay and plan to visit again Got a king suite with jetted tub and the tub did NOT disappoint It was huge

Staff were friendly We were fortunate enough to be right next to the laundry room after discovering I had sat in something less than plesent while we had been out earlier Had to get change and soap from the front desk and they were happy to help The staff and the perfect room totally helped us get a much needed, relaxing vacation for the first time since our son was born 12 years ago Thank you for all your help Cant wait to stay again

Roland Allen

We booked a King Suite since there were two of us, and that gave each of us privacy The room was on the second floor, yet we didn’t hear a peep from any of our neighbors – either upstairs of next door Both of us enjoyed being able to fully open our windows because the fresh coastal air was refreshing

This was my first visit to Lincoln City It was absolutely delightful

Clean, comfortable, fantastic locations on the rock’s edge, close proximity to view the numerouswhales, cozy room, great ocean side fire pit with wood on deck, yummy cinnamon rolls, hugh walk-in double shower, great owners/hostess, comfortable chairs near windows to spend hours and hours viewing the ocean, great place to reflect, rest, and reconnect with your loved one We loved it but needed more than 3 night’s stay God blessed us with this quaint place to enjoy

Thank you so much for your great hospitality!

Patricia Wight

We spent three nights at Whale’s Rendezvous had a delightful time Dian and Joe are very thoughtful and provided everything we needed and more The suite is comfortable and beautifully decorated with an amazing view

The location and suite both exceeded our expectations We were able to walk to great restaurants, the Whale Center and the harbor There was “weather” on one of our days and that only enhanced our experience We look forward to a longer stay on and a whale-watching outing on our next trip to Oregon Many thanks to Dian and Joe for being such generous hosts

Edward Simpson

We had an absolute blast staying here Dian and Joe are great hosts, and were soooooo welcoming The views are amazing, and the advertisements for the place don’t do it justice

We loved seeing the whales from our private deck and even from inside while sitting in the living room area We even got a couple visits from a family of raccoons who wanted to see what we were up to The surrounding area of restaurants and shops were fun to visit, and Joe and Dian were able to give us several recommendations of where to get the best meals and other services Overall, we would absolutely recommend the Whales Rendezvous as a perfect getaway for a couple looking to spend some time together

Wonderful hotel in an AMAZING location It’s walking distance to all the Depoe Bay shops and restaurants and the views are incredible The room was a little dated (broken window blinds), but you can’t beat the price for the location

The whale watching was amazing from the property Comes with a free breakfast with oatmeal, hard boiled eggs, fruit, muffins, and yogurt Staff was very friendly

Andrea Pierce

Location was great! Contactless check in and check out was appreciated during this strange time The rooms are nothing special, but are clean! Jeff and Sue replied promptly to any messages left either by phone or email We had a late check in and they emailed the arrival directions, left a light on and turned up the heat a bit so we’d be comfortable on arrival, which we were! We had a wonderful experience and we hope to return one day!

I have stayed at this motel on several occasions over the last 10 years I have chosen it in the past because of its high quality and high class feel1st I would say that the hotel is clean, and the staff is very good what they do

You feel very very welcome at all times I stayed in 4 and 5 star motels around the world and the staff does all the right things like a real high end resortI do feel the facility itself could use some maintenance and some modernization Kind of feels like it’s still living on its heyday from the seventies Internet service is terribleThere is one computer available in the lobby if you absolutely have to get business doneThe furnishings in my room were cute and very artsy not very comfortable but artsy And the ventilation system in the Is hot tub area sounds like it’s on its last leg?I guess if I have to make a serious complaint it would be about the restaurant on the 1st floor It used to be a very intimate high quality experience that people came from all around to enjoy special occasions like their anniversaries The restaurant was clean And the food quality was acceptable but nothing to write home about If they got a real chef back there they should let him loose to do his own thing a little bit Without going into specifics I will say I was very disappointed in the restaurant staff Without going into specifics I will say I was very disappointed in the restaurant staff My waitress tried to make it good But there really is only so much she can do

Aziz Zaki

Had an amazing experience with a beach side room! My friend took us out here and it was fantastic hearing the waves breaking off & crashing through the night super soothing The beach was maybe 60 yards away from the room very accessible Room had a full kitchenette so we had snacks and made some pizzas for some late night food

They also have pet friendly rooms i believe but not too sure Great place for a family vacation or a friends get together! Highly recommend to anyone visiting Lincoln city!

Kristen Brennan

So refreshing to see this place providing excellent service once again post-Covid My family and I really appreciated the very warm outdoor pool! So many kids want to swim but sometimes the water temp is too cold for them- so THANK YOU for heating up the pool Room service was polite and fast

Check in and check out was easy Rooms are cute and have the main amenities like fridge, microwave, and coffee pot Bonus that they have DVDs you can rent too! Kids loved Frozen II 🙂

What a fantastically refreshing experience! The front desk was super friendly and efficient Our room & the grounds were impeccable This Inn allows all dogs (2max no size limit) and does a great job of lining out the dog rules in a way that is incredibly clear

I feel like anyone who stays with their pup will follow the rules, making it better for everyoneThe location is just perfect You can walk straight out onto the beach and it’s close to some fun shops and a museumWill definitely stay again

My boyfriend and I stayed for two nights in the whirlpool suite for our 4 year anniversary The view was beautiful, staff was incredibly friendly, the room was very clean, the bath is huge, and the bed is crazy comfortable! This room also had a larger fridge than expected and the kitchenette was fully stocked with all essentials for a couple including dish ware Bonus points was that it was very quiet

The view overlooking the parking lot, beach & bay was awesome as we love people watching Beach access was so close and easy to get down to The location is at the south end of Lincoln city which we really enjoyed The anniversary package was adorable and a great touch We truly loved our stay as it felt incredibly homey and warm We will be returning as it’s our new favorite hotel

My Mother (94 y/o) and I stayed at the Looking Glass Inn on March 6-8, 2022 This is not the first time we’ve stayed and every time it is like a private oasis at a very busy part of the coast We reserved a double queen studio and it was HUGE, beautifully decorated and obviously recently redone

Elegantly simple, comfy beds, fridge, micro, full-sized coffee maker–all the amenities one needs View was to die for overlooking the point where the Siletz River joins the Pacific Birds, sea lions, agates, shells and incredible driftwood everywhere Excellent crabbing and fishing from the shore, and beautiful, protected safe swimming areas for the entire family Everything just steps from Looking Glass Inn (Mo’s Seafood/Clam Chowder across the street and old-fashioned candy store/diner next door) Incredible prices, lower than most of Lincoln City for one of the nicest pieces of heaven on the central Oregon Coast 8 miles from Depot Bay and resident Gray Whale pods; few more miles to Newport It is and will always be our choice when staying at the coast The friendliest and most helpful staff, beautiful buffet breakfast comes with the stay

Beautiful property and loved staying there – especially wine tasting and eating breakfast around the fire pit I remember coming as a child and it was nostalgic Really nice beds and furnishings and warm fireplace

The mid century lobby is stunning The outside of guest buildings look a little tired – mostly because of the moisture from being ensconced in a fern forest and at the coast – but easily overlooked once inside Overall great Front desk folks could be a bit better trained in high-end hospitality, but nice enough and still a great visit

Lori E Carroll

We stayed for a midweek visit The resort is very conveniently located The pool and sauna were great! The food was somewhat complicated to figure out what was available and what wasn’t and when

The rooms where clean, and it was wonderful having a parking spot close to the doors The rooms themselves were on the smallish size and the sitting options weren’t great The view of the grounds was gorgeousOverall, this is a great place if you don’t want to hang out and relax in your room

Heather

Really nice hotel and restaurant The food was amazing and the restaurant was conveniently located The staff were very friendly, and the fireplaces in the room and around the grounds were a very nice feature

The only reason why this is 4* instead of 5 was that the plumbing had a drainage issue that caused water to pool up during the shower and when washing hands

Had a nice birthday weekend here last summer, but unfortunately won’t be staying here againThe rate was a little high, but worth it figuring the busy-season, awesome beach access and new renovations Could use a dining table/chairs and more practical bathroom storage, but enjoyed the modern updates like the smart TV that you can cast streaming apps to

Movie night! The main reason I gave a 3-star rating is due to payment transaction issues BEWARE! My friend wanted to pay her portion of the bill at check-out, and the clerk verified that the remaining balance would be charged to my card on file She was having difficulty printing out the final bill and asked if it could be emailed I agreed since there was a long line behind us I never got the email, and it turned out that only my card was applied to the bill I was told by management that even with my friends name, last four digits, amount and date, the transaction wasn’t in their records So I emailed her a screenshot of my friend’s card charge, but never got a response or call back Still trying to get this solved and it’s ridiculous that a hotel can charge a card for an INVISIBLE room!

We stayed in the one room suite with our 3 young children and were super impressed The hotel is very family friendly, which is exactly what we were looking for They let us check in early which we really appreciated

We also loved the beach access This is not a super fancy hotel, but is clean and is perfect for a family We will stay here again!

The view and the room were amazing! We had an ocean front room with a balcony and soaker tub for 2 nights We loved that we found fresh robes in the closet! The tub was squeaky clean and very relaxing Loved that the TV swiveled towards the tub

The walk down to the beach is just a couple of stairs which is nice! The bed and pillows were comfortable Everything was clean and the front desk staff were friendly The section of the hotel we stayed in is brand new and they are doing a little bit of construction here and there in the surrounding area, but it did not affect our stay negatively The pool was nice and warm, the hot tub was clean and the sauna was such a nice touch It was slightly inconvenient to have to walk to the next building for pool access, but we had such a great time it didnt matter in the end There are lots of places to eat nearby We cannot wait to come back!!

First stay was August 2021 and really loved it Then I had my family stay shortly after, unfortunately few issues in one room out of the three, but front desk staff was amazing, understanding, and the issue was resolved to the best of the FD ability at the timeWas so in love with the location and accommodations that we went back again August 2022

We love staying here for our anniversaryI’ve recommended this place to fellow teachers and will definitely be going back next year

Our stay at the Starfish was awesome We had a room with a partial view and an in-room tub right next to the window in the bedroom that was amazing The chocolates on the pillow, ducky on our towels, and fireplace were great touches, and even though you had to hang out the window to see it, the ocean view was still beautiful

The hotel warns you that you don’t get a full ocean view when you check out which is also cool My wife and I had a very romantic weekend, and I’m glad she picked this place!!

Should have read the reviews here before staying as they are not off base!!! We stayed at the hotel in Jan 2022 – clothes in dresser from past guest, bag on smoke detector and hot tub caused us to have rashes on our entire body we did not complain at the time but did call and tell them about the issues and also had to email Sabrina after many attempts to get Sabrina to contact us she finally did only to get a form for insurance to fill out by this time I noticed they had also charged $250 due to bag on smoke detector

when I asked her about this she said housekeeping smelled smoke, however when I asked about the charge before speaking to her the gentlemen told me notes said found cover on smoke detector nothing about smelling smoke which makes sense as we don’t smoke so how would you smell smoke? This is a great way to make extra money I guess We will never stay at any of these properties as the lack of communication or concern for our health and welfare is beyond belief What was a great stay turned very ugly!!! I travel and stay before Covid over 200 nights a year and have never had these issue If I do have a issue hotel takes care of them quickly and I’m not made to feel like I have done wrong seems from other reviews the lack of communication and cleanliness of rooms and finding odd things is normal here On hotel com review says on 1/23 after we checked out found clothes in room funny same clothes we found so they don’t clean very well I guess

We loved our stay here Staff were welcoming, and you can’t beat the location right on the beach The beds are comfortable and the room was very clean

There’s breakfast options in the morning; one of our kids has allergies so options were limited for him The room had a kitchenette though so we just bought things at the store and made his ownThe only con was the bathroom ceiling needs some repair, but it didn’t affect our stay/use of the bathroom at allWe would definitely stay again!

Awesome location to spend a couple of days The rooms were small but clean and comfortable We had a room on the first level (no elevator down from the front desk)

Outdoor chairs were provided The breakfast was basic and we were asked to take it to our rooms because the lounge area could not accommodate multiple families I would definitely go back here again

My boyfriend and I came down to the Oregon coast for a 3-4 day trip, from Washington Every night we stayed in a different location I chose this hotel and it did not disappoint! The room was a little small but we didn’t mind, it was perfect for just us 2

The best part was the patio and view It was so relaxing and beautifulThere was another group checking in as we were and I got a little nervous It was a birthday group and they were in the room right next to us I was worried they were going to be loud, but I didn’t hear one peep all night! – and slept great! We will definitely be staying here again!Oh and also, very clean room!
