This is an excellent hotel and we really enjoyed our stay Check-in was smooth and the front desk person was very friendly The room was clean and well maintained

We had an opportunity to enjoy the pool area which was also clean and had adequate towels The breakfast had extensive options including breakfast sandwiches and burritos, egg and cheese omelettes, and a variety of other things I would certainly recommend this location and can easily say that it was one of the best locations we’ve stayed at

Dora C

I blocked several rooms at the Manassas location for a wedding When I stopped by the hotel, the GM ( Shirley) was very nice and helpful Her follow through was excellent

The staff was friendly and all our guest really enjoyed the hotel I left gift bags for the guest which the front desk staff graciously passed out I would definitely recommend this hotel and use them again if needed

Will not stay here again Not up to Marriott standards and not well kept AC in room had trouble keeping up

The hallway and room smelled like curry or some other strong smell, it was so strong that it was giving us a headache After speaking with the front desk they did set an odor bomb in the room which took care of the smell, this should have been done prior to our arrival as it was extremely noticeable Getting late check out was a hassle and not in alignment with Marriott standards Shout out to the breakfast attendant that was extremely attentive and genuinely friendly, she made the stay a lot more enjoyable

Just spent a wonderful weekend at this B and B The beds were comfortable and showers had strong water pressure The best part of the stay was getting to know the owners, Anne and Mark who made a FABULOUS breakfast each day

Hot fresh muffins with berries from their garden were served along with eggs, bacon or sausage All food is absolutely wonderful I asked Anne to share some of her recipes with me Great service as well as knowledge about the area Plan to go back again

Helen Quinn

Beautiful Victorian home, welcoming and hospitable innkeepers We stayed in the cottage which we highly recommend So pretty and cozy

We didn’t get a chance to walk around Manassas at all since we were visiting our son in the Fairfax area Great location, only about 20 minutes from Fairfax Mark and Ann are very friendly and prepared a delicious breakfast We can’t wait to return the next time we are visiting that area

Carol Krieger

Mark and Ann are genteel hosts who have lived in Manassas and been part of the community for 30 years They know so many people and have been involved with renewing the community with eco friendly gardening and preserving natureWe loved the restored guest cottage! And the breakfast was organic fruits and vegetables from their own garden

Great stay and friendly staffHotel lobby was very welcoming and staff very courteousRoom was a bit dated but overall comfy

Couch was very worn but I have to say it was comfortableBed was comfortable and I got a good nights sleepWish the housekeeping team would have the outside of the balcony doors though Was good to open up the door but when it was closed all I saw were two dirty doors and the dirt was from outsideNothing complimentary though for breakfast, there is a food area but be prepared to pay upOne star less for the iron, honestly it was real sketchy and I couldn’t iron my shirt as I didn’t trust putting it on the shirt

We stayed on July 13, 22, if that helps with knowing who the staff was working The two gentlemen who checked us in and worked overnight were so very friendly and extremely helpful The two young ladies in the morning were so kind and helpful as well

The room was clean, beds comfortable, shower and the products were amazing Only thing I would have wished for was a hot tub/outdoor pool That would have been nice But not taking any stars away from the staff So friendly Thank you for all your help Will come again

I am very picky when it comes to hotels, but I can tell you this place does everything right! The front desk was super helpful and friendly The rooms were super nice and clean The cleaning staff was always working super hard

I even saw someone cleaning the hvac filter The breakfast was great and free The workout room was nice and had a fresh water tank The pool is lovely Absolutely no complaints herewe will definitely stay here again

Michelle Francavilla

Great place to stop on a road trip We were offered a late check out which we didn’t need to use but was a very nice offer to have Cookies at the check in desk were also a nice touch

The only glitch was we arrived around 10:30pm and the crib was supposed to be waiting in the room for us but since it was not our little girl woke up and would not go back to sleep until 1am

Palwaschar Nawabi

Room was very clean and staff was very friendly and welcoming When we checked out we forgot my daughters AirPods and charger They called us and left a message the same day and let us know we had forgotten it in the room

I called them back and asked them to mail it to us and they mailed it back We will definitely stay there again whenever we visit Virginia again

Nice clean hotel, quiet Beds were comfortable They didn’t provide any housekeeping service during our stay even after we asked for it

We traipsed down to the lobby to get fresh towels and more toilet paper They had coffee in the lobby each morning but don’t sleep in if you want any Breakfast is extra Decent parking Convenient to stores and shops across the street Staff was friendly

Sara Tewodros

I just got married there on July 15th, and we couldn’t of asked for a better venue for our entire wedding! Leandra and her staff were absolutely amazing with coordinating our wedding but also very accommodating to all of our wedding guests! We were very impressed with everything and everyone here at the Hilton! Rooms are newly renovated, garden patio beautiful for our outdoor ceremony, food was delicious and staff was amazing!!! Highly recommend if you are looking for a venue to hold your next event, especially a wedding!

Tony B

Nice hotel Clean, quiet, and plenty of parking Right next door to the Fairfax County Police Department’s Fair Oaks station

Across the street is a Harris Teeter and a couple nice restaurants It wasn’t busy during my stay so there were very few guests They’re still undergoing the Covid scam, so the pool is closed Staff is friendly Check in / out was easy

Unfortunately, the quality and condition of our room and main areas did not meet our expectations The hotel is in need of a renovation The carpeting in the hallways will not even allow comfortable rolling of luggage

Our room was a king size suite which I failed to be told was ADA compliant meaning I could not even hang a long dress in the closet Additionally, shower head was too low and didn’t even adjust to angle so just made a horrible dangerous slippery mess Our toilet’s flush handle was broken and we had to request to get it fixed (which they did) The hot water was barely functioning at the sink and the sink area had zero storage space due to ADA compliance The room was extremely noisy at night with train passings and wind drafts on windows seals and in the vent openings (ceilings) Again, carpeting and finishings also could use an update I would hope that a room serving dual purpose of a suite and ADA compliance could be easily merged with two showers heads and two closet sides for ease of use by all Lastly, the pool was not working which I am told there is a barely noticeable banner on their website but I called in my reservation due to being part of a wedding party and this was not Disclosed We had to go to their sister property to swimI will add that the team members at this hotel were very nice and professional They were well trained and knowledgeable 5/5 stars for their team members

Steven Tepe

The hotel is very convenient to shopping and dining The customer service is great! The lobby has been redone in the past several years but the rooms are old and it shows I used to stay here 10 years ago and rooms are the same

The TV’s are tiny, bumps and Knicks on furniture, beds and pillows are tired Stay elsewhere if that is important to you

The Black Horse Inn is one of the most beautiful B&B’s I’ve visited and it’s a gorgeous wedding venue for the bride to be who wants a classic, romantic wedding tucked in the Virginia country The staff was top notch and everything flowed smoothly on my bride’s wedding day The sunroom is the perfect spot for bridal portraits, sunset light was gorgeous on the rolling hills and the reception space was spacious and gorgeous- the perfect place for any wedding

Definitely one of my favorite wedding venues I’ve visited as a Virginia wedding photographer! Highly recommend Black Horse Inn for weddings and just to stay 🙂

Jesse Sipina

While the venue was beautiful, our caterers had to clean an entire kitchen full of dirty dishes left there the weekend before our event In addition, multiple items in our contract were not delivered as promised (A/V, beverages, etc)

It has been nearly 2 months and the management won’t return my calls/emails Sadly, we won’t be back next year

Alyson Morgan

I have tried contacting this Inn for 2 weeks about viewing it as a possible venue for my wedding in 2022 via email and phone calls with messages being left I have not received a single email or phone call back from anyone It’s very sad to see that there is no one there taking care of these responses given I know someone whom used to work there with Lynn when she was the owner of the Inn and they were very responsive and punctual

Visited the Airlie as part of a corporate retreat this week The grounds are beautiful and tucked away from the road for a pristine and quiet environment The main house is where the dining area is located and there’s a nice patio as well

The rooms are a little small and then the quarters themselves are quaint, so you will hear footsteps in the hallway We lost power and then water on the second day but I would return just for the atmosphere

Adam Heiss

I stayed at the Airlie for 4 nights for a work retreat, and I can’t think of a better location The surroundings are absolutely stunning The facilities are excellent

The food is great The staff are friendly and helpful I can’t wait for next year’s retreat! The downside is that it’s pretty far from anything, but if you’re looking for a secluded getaway surrounded by breathtaking views, it’s the perfect place

Alexa Pelczar

We had a lovely one night getaway(staycation)! We weren’t looking to go into town ect we loved exploring the property! There are bikes around the property to just pick up and ride The staff was very friendly

We were very impressed with the room We can’t wait to visit again! Looking forward to attending events that are held at Airlie in the future since we are local A very magical place if you just take your time, slow down and look around Thank you for a great stay!*we didn’t take advantage of the exercise room, we were very impressed!

I stayed here for a week for a work trip and my stay was nothing short of AMAZING!! The staff was INCREDIBLE and accommodating ( all the way from check-in to cleaning staff) Common areas were gorgeous and my room was spotless! I never even had to ask for anything for the entire week Towels and wash cloths were replaced every morning and bed was made perfectly! Everyone who worked at the restaurant downstairs were so nice and amazing as well

This is the first time I’ve stayed at a hotel and was legitimately sad about leaving! Will be back in a week! Wish I could give 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating They were more helpful then expected and willing to go the extra mile I love the fact that there were many restaurants and stores within walking distance

The breakfast was plenteous and delicious The rooms were clean had a microwave refrigerator, sink, sofa and two comfortable beds I definitely plan on returning

Nice, well maintained hotel Staff were very friendly and helpful Room was clean and comfortable, not drafty or noisy

We will definitely stay here again in the future Looks like it will be a nice trip in the spring and summer Unless you do valet you will have a walk in from the parking lot and if it is busy you may have a bit of a walk in store for yourself I recommend dropping bags and passengers at the door and only the driver deal with the walk This leads to a quieter hotel though in my opinion, even surrounded by roads Tucked away in the woods is really a nice touch and one of the things that drew us in

This an OK stay because when I booked my room way in advance, we were given a kind size suite We I checked in, we were given a double bed I was told because the hotel was “to capacity and because of the rate that was given

” They had to switch out three people because of their rate as well Never heard of that Susan M was very apologetic Once in the room, #229, we found it to be an ADA room with double beds, the shower head was broken and no washcloths Called the front desk told Susan the issues and requested another king size bed room for the next day The request was granted but still no washcloths in the King size room Susan M made our stay better Thanks Susan M for your assistance, emphathy and points

So disappointed with breakfast

no jelly, no cream cheese but plenty of salsa options So bagels, toast and muffins topped with salsa??? I’m confused No bacon, no sausage No Belgium waffles I thought I booked at a Marriot hotel! Had better breakfast at a Best Western Sleep-in, breakfast suckedunless you like salsa toast

Nothing spectacular but it was a decent sizeBed•Clean, very comfortableBathroom•Clean, served its purpose good•Shower and sink faucet was the only things lacking The water pressure was not good and the flow out of the shower head and sink faucet was mediocre at bestBreakfast•I cannot give a comment on this I did not go down for breakfastWiFi connection• I could not get it to connectSo all in all I give this Springhill Suites- 3 out of 5This hotel served for what I was looking forSee pictures I tookMy room was on the third floor

This hotel is definitely worth another stay and yet another stay every time that we are in town The hotel staff was very nice and polite and very helpful The room as well as the whole hotel was very clean…

The pool area and the gym was the same as well as the gym had a good variety of things to do I see the hotel is dog friendly so if we ever get a chance to bring our dog with us it seems like there’s plenty of areas to take them as well as having receptacles for dog waste All in all I get is this hotel five stars and a bravo on all that they have and do

Joe Bullen

Be sure to ask for a room far away from the ongoing remodeling…Apparently this is the last of the IHG hotels to have comfortable beds Hopefully, the conglomerate doesn’t change out the plush mattresses at Candlewood for cheap ones like they are doing with Holiday Inn Express

I got a $100 room on a Sunday night This price was a bargain considering that, in return, I received a full kitchen, full bath, and a king-sized bed My first floor bedroom also boasted a 12 foot ceiling! Having a noon checkout time was an added bonusThe room’s door does a horrible job with soundproofing My sleep was continually interrupted with noise from the hallway and the construction

Cindy S

Passing through during a long trip The location is convenient to the highway but far enough away to be quiet The room smelt nice but, outside airpollution was noticeable when I was outside

The road was under construction during my stay so, I drove 2 miles to Brownville park to take a sunset walk on the nice wide trailI liked the hotel Receptionist was nice Looks as if the 1st floor rooms were being renovated My room was on 2nd floor Overall clean room, decent kitchen, comfortable bed, nice bathroom A/C worked well The gross recliner definitely needs to be replaced But, I didnt have high expectations due to the $108 rate for 1 night weekday stay

This Hilton Garden Inn is a nice place to stay If you prefer a bathtub in your room, that’s still an option at this hotel The breakfast options are convenient and depending on your Hilton Honors level could be included with your stay

The staff is friendly and do their best to accommodate guests It would be nice if coffee was available throughout the day at no cost to guests However, they do have free coffee in your room and a coffee machine in their small convenience shop for a fee I’ve stayed at this location dozens of times I definitely would recommend staying here for a short or long term stay

My husband and I stayed for two nights while waiting out a winter storm Our room was clean a spacious Check in was fast and easy

Staff was friendly The bartender Mohamed aka Moe was awesome He was friendly and gave us great service He also helped us melt the ice off our uhaul door With out his help it would have taken us an hour to get the ice off! We enjoyed our stay

Kashmir Hoffman

I gave this hotel a 3, and here’s why Though upon first entry of the facility you can see how well the maintenance upkeep is and the color catching, aesthetically pleasing to the eye reaction, the underbelly is where I have fault The rooms are beautiful and the staff is amazing, but lack of hot (steaming) water and comfortable beds leaves me wanting

I have enjoyed my stay, but I will be leaving tomorrow to seek somewhere that feels a little bit more like home Thank you for your courtesyUPDATE: I did leave the hotel, however I came back to the area and this hotel was the only hotel in the area that would accommodate my truck and trailer This go around, the bed is comfortable Haven’t tried the hot water yet Not too happy that they remembered me and placed me on the first floor next to the gym Oh well, I’m just grateful to have a place to stay

Our stay here was amazing The house is so pretty and full of history, with no one better to explain it all than James-the innkeeper/butler/breakfast aficionado Every morning James had the best breakfast set up, including his own homemade granola

The house is in a great location, walkable to downtown Warrenton James has some great recommendations for wineries and other things to do around the area Highly recommend this B&B, and we will return!

Marjorie Nieber

Chilton House is a wonderful historic B & B James, the Innkeeper, made us feel welcome right from the front doorHe shared some history of the house

Our bedroom & bath were very comfortable ( although private bath was down the hall) Breakfast was served in the dining room Overall, a nice experience Within walking distance to brewery and downtown Warrenton Would stay there again

Zach Fisch

I spent a wonderful weekend at the Chilton House The rooms were tasteful and well-appointed The grounds are newly renovated, but give you a great sense of the place’s considerable history

The staff was friendly, helpful, and extremely knowledgable about the areaWe loved Warrenton — a beautiful, historic old town Great restaurants, a museum, and a brewery within walking distance, and a short drive from vineyards and mountainsHighly recommend for a weekend escape from the city
