Hampton Inn, Lamar, PA- June 19, 2022 stayThis was the last night we stayed in a hotel on our way back from California This Hampton Inn is nestled among the hills along route 80 It was a beautiful spot

My wife and I have travelled across the country many times On our last trip we hit a deer on the second day going from New York to California We were stranded in Akron, Ohio for six nights while our car was being repaired When we got our car to Serra Honda (Akron), we could see a Hampton Inn from the repair bay and we decided to stay there while we waited for the car to be repairedWe also travel with our beloved Black Lab, Greta Most of the Hampton Inns were pet-friendly and had grounds which were conducive to pets Greta seemed to enjoy each room since they were set up in a similar mannerAfter our car was repaired we decided that we would stay at Hampton Inns while we travelled cross-country, both ways The Hampton Inns are all pretty similar and all are pretty comfortable What set them apart from each other are the personnel and the morning breakfastSince I am rating each hotel, I will rate these specific criteria (5- best/1- worse):• Front Desk/Check-in: 5• Room Cleanliness: 5• Appropriate Pet Areas: 5• Morning Breakfast: 5

Booked room through Hilton App with confirmation received Showed up after long drive and the front desk (Autumn) says they do not have any rooms available even though we were booked and reserved Offered to open up a blocked off room that has no air conditioning

Unbelievable really Hilton is usually great about customer service but those place should not be considered part of the Hilton family There are other nearby hotels so I would suggest staying elsewhere!

This hotel is in hospitality lane with NO hospitality at all Not even worth of 1 ⭐️I booked this over phone to stay one night on my way to NY with family and that one night stay was miserable At first i was given wrong room and realized that after going to 3rd floor with baby and luggage, upon calling front desk I am told to come downstairs and sort it out

Again In the middle of the night I got call to landline phone and asked to come downstairs as there was an issue with the payment (midnight) And in the morning I woke up with a big surprise NO WATER AT ALL and the management was not responsive about it and I had to book another hotel just to use bathroom and fresh-up tocontinue my journeyI made a mistake choosing this hotel

This place was a sauna Walked in the building and through the hallways and it was hot Got into the room to find the heat was on

Alright, maybe no one has been in it since winter but the rest of the building? No Idea, it was 96 degrees outside The building AC should have been onHowever, building is goregous and the furnishings really nice Everything is clean and in new’ish’ conditionI was told by my companions that the staff was also really nice but I did not interact with them However I did see my friend’s daughter’s bunny folded up in a blanket with a note telling her to take good care of it while we were in her room Loved this Wish I’d taken a pictureNormally I’d give this a 5 star (I mean the bunny being wrapped up) but I don’t understand why the building was so warm so I have to put it as a 4

I filmed a wedding at this venue and it was lovely! Kashia and the staff were all amazing and helpful and the grounds are amazing and well kept! You truly cannot beat the view that the nature inn provides of the mountains and lake Truly incredible I also hosted my sisters baby shower here and it was the perfect venue for it! Highly recommend to all future couples looking for a wedding/event venue!

This is a gem for families They welcomed us with crayons and coloring sheets There is a common area with other nature-oriented books and games for children

And the trails that originate from the inn were perfect for nature walks for little legsThe room was very comfortable and meticulously clean with gorgeous views, including bird watching from the balcony The hearty breakfast fueled us for long days enjoying the outdoors The wide patio and firepit seating were perfect for relaxing with coffee each morning and eveningMy only wish would be for brighter lights in the bathroom But that is a very small issue and didn’t detract from the magic we felt during our stayWe love the Nature Inn and will be visiting again

This is, hands down to bow, the best hotel I have ever stayed at! Great hot breakfast included! Fresh eggs, bacon, sausage gravy and biscuits, links, etc The team members are also awesome They treat you so great you cant wait to see them again! I promise you, you would regret to stay anywhere else

The building is highly maintained with new carpeting and cleanliness! From the house keepers to the front desk, you will feel right at home Will return for sure!

The room was small but well used While I wasn’t a fan of how the bathroom was broken up, it was a good use of space The carpet was in good condition and very thing over all was clean, in good working order, and over all in good condition

I just had two legitimate complaints about the room, the first was the bathroom motion censor light It was outside the bathroom Nothing like relaxing in the tub and having the light turn off on you because I was the only person staying in the roomComplaint number two was just that the faucet did need replacementBut service was amazing, the gentleman who checked me in was very nice, very helpful, and when a mistake was made, was very quick to fix it and make amends, even when I was honestly perfectly okay with it and already had plans on how to work with it I wish I’d remember his name, he was great He was the guy I dealt with all weekend He was wonderful And had great long hair and facial hairAlso the lady stocking the breakfast area was nice tooSo all in all, happy with my experience and over all stay, the only real complaints was the light for the bathroom and the faucet that was rusty in 211 Everything else was A+

Big problem with the TV/Direct TV service! It kept going blank every 30 or 40 seconds Everyday, for 4 days Front desk said nothing could be done about it

They are pet friendly and have a small breakfast spread The room was clean Lobby was being remodeled It really would have been nice to enjoy a TV show after getting back to the room They really didn’t seem to care and didn’t offer any assistance

Heather the bar-tender is awesome Room was so-so, old and worn but room service/fresh bedding/towels well attended to But awesome mattress, great shower

Generous servings of food in restaurant and really good for us non-foodies If this was a high end establishment it would shine and with 5-Stars because of the great staff I love finding these inexpensive and satisfying places during our motorcycle travels on google maps

Clean and comfortable room, but the wifi and tv were both not working The bartender was very sweet but unable to help us as apparently that’s up to the owner (who was unavailable) to fix We chose this place because of the free wifi (I needed to do some computer work) and it was just a bummer that we couldn’t even watch tv to pass the time after a long day of driving

If you need to work from home, or if relaxing with the tv is important to you in a motel, I would skip this place
