This hotel is recommended by our colleagues I love the location as everything is in walking distance from the hotel There is daily housekeeping

As a matter of fact housekeeping come in and fill ice for us every evening If I didn’t have to work during weekday, I would have enjoyed all the summer events more Definitely recommend this hotel I’ll update with more photos later

Chris Davis

My wife and I were married here 32 years ago when it first opened and it was spectacular We returned last week to have a drink at the terrace restaurant and after checking in and waiting for our table to be cleared, the host came back and told us that we had to order dinner not just drinks to be able to sit outside He asked if we were going to order food and we said not after this experience and left

Terrible customer service for what was once a great hotel

Celia Pearce

Summer in the City at the Harborwalk Terrace – Sitting outside with a view of the harbor listening to good music was great; food was delicious but overpriced, the staff is super nice but overworked The hotel is apparently too cheap to keep the venue properly staffed when they have a promoted weekly event they know will be crowded, which is a shame because it made an otherwise nice experience unnecessarily frustrating Considering this is an allegedly “posh” with a room rate of $700 + you’d think they could afford to adequately staff the event

Great location, excellent service! The Boston Marriott Long Wharf is located right next to the New England Aquarium The location is great for catching a dinner cruise or taking a trolley tour, as both are available mere steps from the hotels front entrance The room was clean and fresh, with great bath amenities

The staff was friendly and kind The hotel features an indoor pool with a great outdoor sun deck There is a Starbucks in the lobby and the hotel’s in room dining is excellent!

M O

Excellent location by the water Right next to the acquarium and minutes to the market Rooms were very nice and very clean

Very comfortable bed Team at the front desk were exceptionally caring, nice and professional Try to stay away from rooms by the atrium as sound echoes and travels to your room Pool was not appealing but works well for children Outdoor deck is a plus Hotel has food options and a convenience store

Kathy D

It takes a lot for me to think somewhere is a 5 but this hotel is worth the rating Spectacular location Beautiful updated rooms and great pool

Pool is on the 3rd floor with windows as walls on 3 sides so you feel like you aren’t in a dungeon Doors open out to a deck with chairs, tables and beautiful views and depending on the time of day they serve cocktails Staff was helpful and pleasant Overall would highly recommend this if you are going to Boston

Lorraine Farquharson

Absolutely beautiful historic hotel that has been tastefully updated Our room was large with 4 huge windows looking out onto the Main Street Bathroom had heated floor and gorgeous toiletries

Room was spacious with working fireplace and plenty of outlets to charge devices Lounge and communal kitchen (stocked with snacks and coffee/tea etc was a wonderful addition – no need to stay in your room to have your morning coffee! If you are in Salem this is the place to stay

Mike Zolli

This place is beautiful! I’m excited to get to see if I’m awakened by some groovy spirits! Maybe they wanna party! This may be a stay I will not soon forget! The location is amazing, the staff are very friendly! The amenities are delicious!! The rooms are very adorable! We stayed in room 9, the bathroom floor is heated and there is a wonderfully warm fireplace in the bedroom! I’m excited to come back again and stay in another room!!

Denise B

Location is amazing, room is nice, quaint Loved having the gas fireplace Wood plank flooring

Shower and bathroom although small are very nice and new Fantastic water pressure Robes provided Very comfortable bed, very clean linens Very clean room Kudos to the cleaning staff! Amazing shared lounging areas and area with variety of snacks, espresso machine, teas, beverages, fresh breakfast pastries, refrigerator for guest itemsCentral air and heat worked silently and efficiently We were on the main floor in room 1 We requested the first floor as there is no elevator and one of us doesn’t navigate stairs Loved our stay and we would definitely book again 1 star off for the following reasons: Could use a little updating The rug in our room was beige and had some noticeable stains The throw over the bed is knit and coming apart Picky-but the drapes, lamps, tables don’t really go with the room-more of a modern vibe There’s and armoire but there isn’t a way to hand a long/formal dress anywhere (other than the bathroom) that I could find There was an iron but no ironing board (maybe in the shared areas?) There’s no place in the bathroom to put any toiletries or other stuff down other than the toilet tank (not a fan of that personally) Bathroom is small but a corner table would fit for toiletries, etc The outside step in the back is really high-needs either a second step up/down or a railing You jump up/off the step about 15-17 inches The most concerning thing was that when we made our reservation (we let them know we were arriving after hours) we received the outside entrance code but never received the information about what room and where to find the key We called the number we were given but no one ever answered (It was still early evening-9 pm) Fortunately, we kept hunting and finally found an envelope with one of our first names with a key for room 1 We almost gave up and went looking for somewhere else to stay Despite all that, we loved staying here and would definitely stay here again

Clover

Very clean Personable staff who were very helpful Restaurant on site but I didn’t eat there so can’t rate it

Snacks, some travel accessories, and toiletries available for purchase in a small shop next to the front desk Check your shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner that’s mounted in the shower before getting into the shower Ours was empty but it was too late to call for refills… when you discover it while already in the shower! The beds are advertised as queen but are actually full sized So, if you absolutely need a larger bed, you’ll want to keep that in mind

CAP

The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly – the sheets were clean and ironed But the best part was Sheriff, who worked at the Front Desk When he asked how things were going, I said good – but great for the hotel

They were extremely busy in the dining room/bar and I was unable to get dinner before an evening meeting He escorted me to the concierge lounge to get some food quickly before the meeting He was very considerate

Marcus Lewis

Outstanding! The Boston Marriott Peabody is a clean, comfortable, and well located hotel about 30 minutes northeast of downtown This hotel should serve as the model for how to treat guests Jadyn at the front desk is exceptional! Friendly and welcoming, I felt like I was being greeted by an old friend

The hotel staff is great, the public spaces are nice, and the breakfast is tasty I will be sure to visit this property in the future

Stayed at this hotel this past Saturday night The hotel is very clean and organized and the staff at the front desk was very welcoming upon arrival We got a room in the tower on the 10th floor which is their newly renovated rooms

The rooms are very spacious and offer a wide variety of space They also come with a large television and a chair and a desk area with a bed The windows are very thin so you can hear the traffic on the highway at night and also in the hallway during the night you hear people coming in and out of their rooms especially some blaring music in the early morning time The bed review I would not give a good review it seemed like a standard mattress and it seemed like it was not as pushy it was really firm and was not good suitable for me as I had a rough night sleep Overall it’s an OK hotel but if you’re looking for more I would stay closer to Boston as those hotels are higher quality

Gabriela Pineda

My husband came here for our honeymoon happily checked in to the hotel and to our surprise within minutes in room 116 bugs in the room Immediately left room and went to check out they offer us a different room but after seeing bugs I definitely did not want to stay there at all The front desk person made absolutely no other apologies nor care took the room key and acted not shocked at all nor concern I guess this most happened frequently

Horrible customer service and poor cleanliness the whole first floor also smelled like old cigarettes although claims smoke free maybe now but the smell still there as well as the room Don’t waste your money here

Steven Jang

I stayed here for 1 night and the location was great The receptionist was welcoming and the bottle waters were free during the stay The room was okay and I can see that it need a renovation done especially the AC still old style and need a card to be able to adjust the thermostat I guess

It is an old system and does not cool very well and I cannot sleep all night because the room was too hot Other than that, everything is okay

We stayed at this location, for one night, in May of 2022 We arrived late in the evening One of the elevators was down, and according to reviews, that I read after my stay, has been down for months

The one working elevator was pretty dirty upon entering When we entered our room, we gave it a quick once over The room looked more like a truck stop motel than a Marriott The room was small The beds were full size Definitely not the standard queen One of the beds had a large clump of hair in it, so we called for new sheets The sofa bed had a huge stain on it and an even larger stain on the rug I was afraid to even take my shoes off in this place The inner shower curtain should have been changed When I called with a complaint and ask for a refund of the over $300 I spent, I was offered Marriott points I did not pay in points I paid on my bank card Since asking for my money back, I have not heard back from hotel management or anyone else from Marriott It’s been at least 9 days I’ve been a lifelong Marriott guest Shameful to call this place a Marriott and shameful that they haven’t given me a refund Also shameful of the latest customer service rep to repeatedly say “Well there’s nothing I can do on my end” Not a Marriott type of experience at all

Rachel Malpass

Upon arrival, we were notified that they did not offer daily housekeeping, but we could ask if we needed something The thermostat in our room was locked, and kept set to 68 degrees (This doesn’t sound unreasonable, but it never felt that cool…it was actually quite stuffy

) The mini fridge in our room froze drinks solid, and the remote did not work properly After three days, we requested housekeeping for towels, coffee, and trash No one came After one day, our room cards stopped working and we were informed that it was because we had likely placed the card too close to an electronic device When calling the front desk, they told me they’d have some new ones ready down stairs It took approximately 15 minutes to retrieve those cards because we were on the fifth floor and the line for the one working elevator was long Overall, nothing special Would not choose this location again unless remodeled

Carl Manzelli

Upon arrival after the posted check in time, the clerk had us wait for several minutes while they tried to find a room available for which a reservation was set months earlier I was then told that they had only one room available despite no one else waiting anywhere They finally found a room

The room was clean but the hotel showed signs of wear with only one elevator working Overall, it was okay but I expect better

I absolutely love the Best Western plus! I love that they have their own little location tucked away on the hill The rooms are HUGE and modern The staff is amazing- they’ve gone above and beyond for me and you can definitely tell that there’s a family feel with their regular guests

The lobby is bright, well lit and welcoming even late at night and there’s always luggage carts I will say however that I unfortunately don’t find their beds to be as comfortable as other places But it’s a lovely quiet location Definitely will stay here in the future and recommend to others

Daniel Reichard

I don’t know why any hotels other than best westerns exist Every time we stay at one it just really highlights everything I don’t like about other hotels This one had very friendly service

The rooms were perfectly clean and smelled fantastic Excellent little weight room The pool was large, perfect temperature and deep enough that 6 ft me could tread water! The breakfast was so delicious and had plenty to choose from Several restaurants deliver here as well Loved it here

Monique Ferrecchia

Stayed here for a wedding, but probably wouldn’t otherwiseCons: The room had a strong musty odor; we checked and cleaned the ac filter – it looked like a dryer lint filter that had never been emptied 🤮 Overall the room looked dingy and slightly dated

The duvet inserts aren’t even in real covers, just between 2 flat sheets Slept on top of the uppermost sheet to minimize my contact with the bed The shower looked like it could use a good scrub, but may have just been older Water pressure is severely lacking, ended up having to wash my hair under the tub spout instead of the shower head to get sufficiently clean No towels available at the pool, we had to bring some down from our room Either the toilet or fridge kept us up with a loud noisePros: Pretty good location, close to food, attractions, and the beach Friendly staff The pool is nice, and seemed well kept, good temperature to really enjoy your swim Good sized room, with a table & chairs, closet, dresser, tv, coffeemaker, mini fridge, and microwave The included breakfast was pretty good Food was hot and they had a decent variety

Room was very nice and the hotel staff were super nice Is it a four-star hotel Yep

Is it worth the price Not in my opinion Paid over $400 for a room and to park the car (yep they charge for parking along with most places in Boston) for the awesome view on the harbor side However, is the price worth the view Absolutely not A harbor is a harbor is a body of water Same with the skyline Won’t stay again solely due to the price, and you also (we didn’t) have to purchase breakfast if you want it, on top of the room already

Noname H

Super awesome location – very convenient to the airport and amazing view of the harbor and planes landing and taking offVery very expensive, though Having to pay $78 for parking when you’ve already paid a ton for three nights is a lot

Add to it a “destination” fee of $22 that is charged daily!! The rooms don’t even have a fridge or a microwaveAlthough we enjoyed our stay, we wouldn’t do it again for the insane cost

We were a large group occupying four rooms, and the establishment was incredibly accommodating, comfortable, and reasonably priced for the area Good beds, even the roll-out couch was fine, and plenty of clean linens (once you figure out the hotel’s self-service system) Restaurants and coffee shops in walking distance, and any time I had a question, management replied and helped

One evening our group was up a bit late, and the “gentle reminder” of the quiet policy was perfect Thank you Highly recommend

Kelly Henry

A great choice when you need a place to stay in the North Beverly area The prices were great, and the room size was large Like a tiny apartment, with a full-size refrigerator, and plates and cutlery

Keyless entry, and person-less reception was great They were very communicativeOnly negative was there was a slight musty smell to the room Perhaps because it hadn’t been used in a while But it was clean, no problem there👍🏻

Gina LeMay

Very pleased with the Beverly Hotel The room was clean and I liked having a kitchen for breakfast and lunch The staff is friendly and I love the app they shared having all the information you need about the hotel and surrounding area

Nice touch – wish all hotels had thisIn addition, we were traveling so that my son could attend a baseball camp at Endicott College, I was easily able to set up “an office” at the table space in the room and have a nice working area WIN-WINOverall, great find, location and space

What a delightful hotel! The history, the ambience, the attentive staff! We stayed here on a chilly January night, had a wonderful room overlooking the courtyard and the Charles We were lucky enough to enjoy some blues in the main lobby These were the only blues we experienced 😉

The only thing that was amiss, were the bathrobes I am sure this was just due to covidMake sure to check out the channel on your television in your room, about the history of the hotelThank you for a fantastic time! See you again!

Krista Skrtic

I absolutely love staying at the Liberty! I just stayed for the second time and there is nothing like the welcome committee out front and coming up that escalator!! I told the other people in my group that riding up the escalator gives me such joy!Every interaction I’ve had there has been wonderful Check in with champagne, the bartenders and serving staff, the food and wine, coming down for a cup of coffee in the morning…All SO lovely! And the rooms! So cool and cozy at the same time

Comfy bed, dark, and mostly quiet 🙂 Also, was so pleased to see Molton Brown bath products! And glad that the shower items are in bulk but also sad I couldn’t take them home!!Seriously, I really really love staying there I will definitely be back!

Encore is a beautiful establishment and a great destination for a day, night or a weekend stay The rooms are very modern and aesthetically pleasing but they are a little small The suites have the same issue but they surely have an incredible view

The staff is great in some areas such as the wait staff, cleaning and customer care but the staff on the floor could use more training in customer service and hospitality You will find most table games to be full on a Friday or Saturday but on any other day you can find a seat at most tables I recommend the high roller area depending on how you play The slots are definitely top of the line and a lot of fun (if you’re one of those people who just loves throwing $100 bills in the trash) with a wide variety to choose from Dining is definitely a 5 star experience All of the restaurants are large portions and priced fairly for a casino There aren’t a ton of amenities like Foxwoods or Mohegan Sun such as pools and steam rooms go but they do have a very well trained massage and spa staff which can be great after a long run I would recommend planning out your stay rather than just going with no reservation Overall I give Encore 4 stars out of 5 and besides a few very small things, closer to a 45 I hope you enjoy your day, night or stay here as much as I do

This casino is absolutely gorgeous! I’ve been to many casinos all over the country and in my eyes this easily compares to the best of themI only visited for a few hours, but was impressed with the size, layout and offerings found here Lots of table games (they were packed so the limits were a bit high for me) tons of slots, a sports book and bar and several restaurants from quick service to fine dining

Parking was free (apparently that was a point of contention for a while?) and plentiful in the garage below the casino with elevators straight to the casino It was refreshing to be in a non-smoking casino—that was a first for meService seemed to be easy to find, though I don’t drink so I didn’t need a server for anything I did see them walking by quite a bit, and several asked if I needed anythingNow I did get the luckiest I’ve ever been in my life with slots–which is not the norm by any means, so it helps that I left way up, but as always I started with a budget If you’re going to gamble be smart, plan on losing and never gamble more than you can afford to lose Have fun! Should be easy in such a nice place!

The rooms are just incredible Luxury, luxury, luxury Everything is high quality, smart-connected, clean, comfortable

The bathroom is enormous, especially the soaking tub The bed I didn’t want to go back to my own bed after sleeping on that thing Best night of sleep I’ve had in months This was my second stay and we opted to spend an extra $40 for a harbor view and it was 100% worth it Watching the sun set over the city and the water is magical Service is fantastic, though of course the minibar and room service are very expensive But there’s a free water taxi that can take you downtown!Even if you aren’t a gambler and don’t care for the casino, check out the hotel It’s wonderful

What a great hotel, perfect walking distance to everything we wanted to see Our room was spacious and clean, yes it had a tiny bathroom, but really why complain how much time do you really spend in it

The Hotel was beautiful, old world with modern amenities We had dinner in The Tavern, great food and drinks The front Desk staff was very helpful in directing us to a few coffee shops We are looking forward to our next visit

Highly recommend this hotel I’ve never been to a place like this At first I thought my room was small (I think they called it economy), but I loved it! Little pricey, but no complaints

I would definitely stay here again Tyler at the front desk, as well as his staff, were top notch They helped us with recommendations and getting places They would remember us the next day and ask how things were with the recommendations Nathaniel’s Restaurant wasn’t 100% on service on one of the two days, but I’d be back Hotel was wonderful! Tip: Call even if it doesn’t show availability They may have some

Dave

Really nice time at this hotel Room was spotlessly clean and well kept A quite old hotel so bathrooms very very small

Bedding was extremely nice Large cut out at bottom of bathroom door curious Can’t find any reason on Google why one is needed???? Weird Still, we’d stay here again 3 stars only because no hot water pot / coffee, tea service in the room Plenty of room for that if they cared

This was honestly one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had We stayed in one of the two story suites – beautiful, cozy, clean and plenty of space for our family We had access to the club level which was amazing for snacks, appetizers and cocktails

All of the staff was so nice and accommodating The location was very walkable to most hot spots in Boston Can’t say enough wonderful things!

The Langham, Boston exceeded all my expectations, and so much more!Right off the bat, Alicia, who checked me in, was extremely welcoming and cheerful I absolutely loved her energy and vibes She totally went above and beyond – short, but super fun conversations and a few jokes (puns!) later, she introduced me to the hotel amenities, restaurants, places to see and a bit about the hotel itself

Alicia was definitely very attentive and super helpful! And the room, it was simply spectacular I’ve never stayed in a hotel room as nice as this It was clean, spacious, with great amenities and the decor was just top-of-the-line with neat little design details here and there I also liked that the shower also has a portable shower head, something that’s awesome but you don’t often find in hotels The maintenance staff also does a wonderful job taking care of the room – every day I return to my room with it looking clean and refreshed The nighttime crew offering water and chocolates was also kind of a nice touch On a kind of unrelated side note, I’m also totally in love with the pink color theme the hotel has going for it I even asked for a pen of theirs as souvenir lol!I didn’t have breakfast while I was there, but I did spend an hour or so at The Fed (lounge) downstairs I heard the menu was recently redesigned, but I thoroughly enjoyed the puns they have on there For example, there’s this cocktail called “I’m Fed Up” which I actually ordered – it was tasty and didn’t make me feel “fed up” at all Equally amazing was the “Sip of Sunset” I ordered, absolutely beautiful drink and taste wise it was also really goodThe hotel checkout experience was also great I had lovely conversations with My and Johan, who were both absolutely incredible The hotel staff in general were all just really nice and friendlyNext time in Boston, I will most definitely be back! It’s definitely one of, if not the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in!

Erin

We stayed at the Langham this past weekend and for the last several months I had been communicating with Jenna Davis, Guest Relations Coordinator for The Langham, to plan a proposal She was extremely friendly and helpful, went out of her way to coordinate flowers and champagne, assist our friends in decorating the room, and even left a delicious and beautifully decorated macaroon for us to share She was extremely pleasant to communicate with and seemed to genuinely share my excitement leading up to and following the event

All the staff were friendly and eager to help in any way they could Not to mention how stunningly beautiful the room was in its own right I highly recommend staying here!

I can’t even begin to describe how wonderful the staff at the Wylie Inn is They were incredibly accommodating to myself and my family while we were experiencing a death in the family David was incredibly kind and understanding and made sure our rooms were close by and were ready for a possible early check in

I couldn’t be more grateful

Lori Walter

Close to Salem which is good if you are wanting to stay close to Salem The room we stayed in was the smallest room I have ever been in, literally It’s ok if you only need a bed to sleep on but make sure you clarify what room you need based of how many people will be staying in the room, so you can actually move around in the room!!

Jennifer Hatzmann

The Wylie Inn is a nice hotel! The rooms are on the small side but are very functional Amenities in the room include a coffee maker (a mini keurig), a mini fridge, hair dryer, safe, soaps (hand, body, shampoo, conditioner and lotion too), and an alarm clock The room was clean and the bed was comfortable! The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful

The bar wasn’t too bad either It is about a ten minute drive to Salem I would definitely stay here again
