BUYER BEWARE they are running a SCAM! Why isn’t zero stars an option? Booked the room for 2 nights and we booked and payed online When we arrived they asked me for my credit card, I thought they needed it for verification, he processed it and said it was a $55 room deposit I looked puzzled he stated I would get it back as soon as I checked out

First night refrigerator was not working was hot and smelled horrible, AC wasn’t working and the toilet was filthy, stains on the sheets I called the front desk they said they were booked but would be able to move us the next day I inquired about a refund and they said it wasn’t possible We were on the first floor and the ceiling was paper thin, it sounded like a herd of cattle above us all night, barely got any sleep Went to the front desk the next morning and the same guy that checked us in seemed unhappy that we wanted to move, and tried to move us to another bottom floor room, I had to be blunt with him and stated we would not be comfortable staying below anyone another night He finally moved us to an upstairs room and it was more pleasant When we went to checkout I asked him about the deposit and if he needed the card to reimburse me, he said no as soon as the housekeeping gave him the all clear he would refund the deposit 48 hours later still no refund and no pending transactions, I was driving back through and decided to stop in He was very surprised to see me and I inquired once again about my deposit, he punched some buttons on the computer, and said hold on I’ll try and print out a receipt A few minutes later he showed me a receipt showing I was being reimbursed $50, I responded you withdrew $55 he said we have a $5 pet fee, I stated we didn’t have any pets, he stated well you booked online and there is a $5 online booking fee I just shook my head and walked out with my receipt, BEWARE Im not sure I would have gotten anything back if I didn’t stop back in

We were traveling and couldn’t go any further We seen this place off to the right of us and pulled in Check-in took 5 minutes

Finding the room was easy with a big parking lot there were even semi trucks there and a cute little restaurant walking distance from our room it would’ve been 1 min walk and we were more in the middle of the inn Rooms were clean and very spacious We got a king size bed and it was clean and comfy There’s also a fridge in the dresser thing with a big tv on top of it In the morning we went in the office and had breakfasts the office staff was very friendly and patient with our 2 year old The lady working the breakfast was awesome!! She is so kind and just a great vibe about her thank you all for a great experience!!! ❤️ we stayed January 5, 2022

This hotel has potential, but it leaves a lot to be desired and the facilities need a lot of TLC Unfortunately, I would not stay again if I could find anything else This was a “no other choice” option when our original hotel had electrical issues

Positives: The breakfast was very good and the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful The AC worked great, the ice was close by, and it was a great priceNegatives: The bathtub had mildew in the tub and was blackened around the caulking The room smelled musty The pool was nasty (We tried getting in but the slimy bottom deterred us fairly quickly) Wall paper was coming down in several areas of the hotel

Stayed for 2 weeks for work The hotel had wallpaper peeling from the walls, the sheetrock had been removed down the hallway walls leaving exposed insulation, missing or stained ceiling tiles I asked what had happened and they said a water line broke which was obviously the case

The receptionist said that it had been like that for over a year timeThe room needed cleaned, the beds were made up and it was tidy, but the floors had stains The microwave was dirty and the panel with buttons would pop off if you opened the microwave door The toilet would randomly flush as if it was tied in to another room The faucet on the tub would not shut off so water ran constantly I tried to snug it down but gave up in fear of breaking the handle The A/C unit gave up after a week and covered half the room in water They moved me to another room and said that the A/C leaking was a common problem and that they would now have to shampoo the room The new room was better but still carried the smell of mold and dampnessOutside in the parking lot is about 20 busted sun dried pallets of black granite for counter tops Surprised it hasn’t been stolen considering the drug sales in the parking lotAfter staying in the Comfort Suites in Carlsbad, I was excited to stay with the same chain but we were dumbfounded when we entered this facilityI had to give a star so I will say something positive The waffle iron works great

Curtains were broke Shower handle was busted It was hard to get a good pic of the dirty carpet but I tried (it had toenails, gravel, and grass scattered everywhere) carpet was also pretty wet in front of the couch

Bed sheets had holes Bathroom didn’t have toilet paper holders and were just resting on the tank meaning everyone just has to grab it with their nasty hands Do not stay here if you don’t have to

Friendly staff Rooms decent, comfortable beds and pillows, bathrooms need deep cleaning Stayed at this hotel instead of another less expensive for the exercise room

Unfortunately, there was a flood recently and the 1st floor of the hotel was under construction, exercise room was an amenity on the website, maybe this should be temporarily changed

J M

Staff was courteous That’s almost everything positive I have to say If you’re staying more than 1 night pick another hotel

Water was only warm if you took a shower before dinner or after 11pm Washer and dryer on the premises has been down for over a year Cleaning staff doesn’t replace trash bags, coffee cups or toilet paper I’m an IHG gold member and intentionally choose IHG hotels for points and there isn’t another IHG hotel in McAlester Ive even used this location a handful of times in the past, they’ve remodeled but somehow the place has gotten worse Front desk is nice but it feels like they are just helpless and not getting any help from their leadership

We had an excellent 8 night stay here, after our vehicle broke down nearby and had to go to the shop across the street The front desk crew (K-Lea, Kenna, Elizabeth, Tommy, and one more lady that I didn’t get the name of) were all kind and helpful to us, the rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable, the ac

kept up in the 100°+ weather, and the breakfast was good every day The only thing I can think of that was wrong is that the tub faucets continuously dripped, but that didn’t bother us at all or affect our stay in the least I only mention it in case they need to know about it so they can fix it If I ever get back that way, I’d definitely stay there again! I’m thankful for all they did to help us during that unexpected visit!

Mike Biegenwald

Booked a king bed room Was given a double queen handicap acceptable room They would not change my room for the rest of the stay after asking

Feel the televisions are small and the rooms can use updated House keeping did not visit the room once in the 5 nights I was there Rooms and hotel was clean The theme photos in the elevator were ripped off or falling off, very poor lookOverall the hotel needs some review from Corporate to hold them up Hilton expectations

Chad Bottoms

Road construction made property less accessible (not the hotel’s fault) Sauna and hot tub were out of service for the entire stay and the pool was put out of service on my last night of the stay Found an empty pudding cup under the bed skirt from previous occupant

The washer and dryer aren’t adequate for guest staying longer stays The customer service was good and staff friendly Rooms were overall clean and orderly Complimentary breakfast was good

Very nice park Lots of shade, easily accessible lots, extremely well maintained Quite, peaceful and secure

On site Laundromat costs only $150 per load to wash And $100 for 60 minutes of dry time The owners are very helpful, friendly and professionalthe only reason I rate this park at 5 stars,is because there is not option to give 6

Deborah Stone

Rock Creek is a no frills RV camp ground They have full hook ups and some pull through Most of the residents are full timers

The park is owned by a real nice couple who live on site The prices are excellent $20 nightly and $250 plus electric monthly The park is EXTREMELY quiet It is located in a wooded area so there is a real sense of seclusion They have laundry facilities that are well maintained A shower is available, but we did not use it so I cannot speak to its condition There really is nothing for children such as a play area The park is pet friendly
