Our room was clean, the staff was absolutely fantastic, probably the best experience with hotel staff I have had The staff member who was making the delicious breakfast went above and beyond for my granddaughter who has special dietary needs, she cooked separate food for her and she didn’t have to do that! Overall, I will definitely stay there again, and I definitely recommend to anyone who is wondering about this hotel, it won’t disappoint! We were tired from traveling the entire day and it was so nice that we were able to have a hassle free rest before continuing on our journey!! Thank you Comfort Inn Medford South!!! A+ from us!!!

The staff is great and very helpful! Great breakfast Room was very clean and great location RV parking is very limited! The worst part is that the park next to the hotel is filled with junkies and makes you feel unsafe about parking your vehicle

If I had known that Veterans Park was filled with junkies, I never would have stay at this hotel But staff was great at helping us get parking so we could see our RV from our room I feel sorry that this hotel has to deal with that maddness!

Sandra Dana

I am most happy to provide a 5 star rating The desk staff was very friendly and professional The entire place is spotless clean

Rooms are well equipped with Refig with small freezer Micowave, Nice comfortable chair, small desk In our case my partner required a handicap room It was well located close to the breakfast room I so appreciated the luggage carts available in the entry to help me unload our things to the room Bed was very comfortable not to hard and again spotless The breakfast in the morning was the nicest we had on our three day trip Bacon, eggs, lots of fresh fruit choices even waffles you make on the spot A treat! I have never stayed in a Comfort Inn before but this particular one will always be our first choice If all Comfort Inns are this nice then we are on We stayed in a Best Western in Stockton Calif that was the worst experience we have ever encountered So travelers please beware of that one!The “Rest of the Story” for Best Western Stockton Calif is coming for a 0 star rating for my next review

Wow! I had dinner here for St Paddy’s Day and their special was amazing Apparently their new head chef is very passionate about curing and specialty meats

This showed through in the delicious corned beef special that I ordered The service was spectacular with our server, Amanda, showing equal parts wit/humor and competency/timing The ambience was perfect and they had an amazing wine selection I had a peek at their brunch menu (drooling!) while I was there and that is definitely next up I can’t wait to come back…again and again!

We love everything of this restaurant Prime Rib was well cook and separated two plates for us to share We selected grill vegetables and mashed potatoes to match the meat, of course, with the suggestion of our wonderful server

The appetizer of oysters was delicious, beautifully tasting with the local Chardonnay They has a list of salads and offer half size, so you can try more than one at a meal Thanks for providing great food, excellent service with such a reasonable and affordable price range!❤️

Autumn O

Wow I haven’t had such an amazing, tender, well seasoned steak like I had tonight Well worth the money for the prime rib! It was so tender and juicy, just how it should be cooked

The risotto was cooked to perfection, creamy, and had the most leveled out taste for my pallet Whoever cooked steaks tonight, should cook steaks every single night of the week I really enjoyed my experience and will be coming back, soon Thank you all!

Not entirely sure how this hotel has a 43 star rating on google The entire hotel smells terrible

The rooms smell terrible The do not accommodate young infants in need of a safe and comfortable place to sleep Pack-N-Plays, although considered “safe”, are not the same as cribsPhillis at the front desk is very kind and tried her very best to help accommodate us We understand the infant accommodations and smell are out of her controlDefinitely not a good place for young children if you care about them crawling around without concerns for cleanlinessMarriott should have better standards

S Wagner

Bethany was awesome After a long drive we stopped here and she made an amazing old fashioned! Also- despite the fact that the bar bites was closing in less than 10 minutes- she had no attitude about me ordering food to go Also- she stayed open later because firefighters were arriving to help with the wildfires and wanted food too! The front desk team was kind, rooms were clean, and the service was impeccable

Cheers to the manager of this property!

I travel for a living, 32 weeks this FY year alone, and never have I encountered a staff so polite, so professional yet personable it’s like talking with familyMandi and Cady absolutely made my trip Not only did they ensure my check in was quick and efficient they also booked additional stays on the spot!!!! Went above and beyond my expectations

I personally witnessed them doing the same for other guestsI will always stay here for future visits and tell all my associates and friends to do the sameHighly impressed

Nick Wren

The fact that this hotel was built in 2019 is a big reason why it’s so good The rooms are in good condition, everything feels newThe complimentary breakfast is indeed good and above average

The parking isn’t great, there are transients that often walk through the parking lot and there are no cameras or security guards watching(don’t leave anything in your car) The views are not greatMy biggest problem with Holiday Inn Express hotels is the poor insulation between rooms which leads to lots of noise from your neighbors You want to be on the top floor or you will be hearing footsteps above you

Great check-in service, had a upstairs room, but I was having outpatient procedure the next day and knew I couldn’t climb the stairs after my procedure The gal at the front desk was more than happy to accommodate me with a lower level room Room was nice and clean! Everything you need is there, microwave, refrigerator, TV, mini coffee maker, blow dryer, mini toiletries, iron and ironing board

They offer a great breakfast/brunch until 10 am A wonderful hot tub Check out was just as friendly I would definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel! Thank you for a great stay!

Claudia Espinoza

I arrived at around midnight and they helped me quickly The room was clean and quiet with access to a heater Parking was near the room and easily accessible Check out was quick

Sarah Robinson

The girls at the front desk Taylor, Nicole, and Monique were friendly, efficient, helpful, and provided excellent customer service! Also, Tony the manager was very accommodating during our stay at best western! I want to give a shout out to Jaunita, she was the best! Always asking if I needed anything, (my favorite house keeper) always friendly and did a thorough job, she deserves a raise Breakfast was good, pet friendly, and clean There’s a huge dog park across the street, and stores walking distance

Nice little walking area by the Bear Creek to enjoy

Jp

Hotel is interesting and in incredible shape with consistent themes We were on the eighth floor with wide views and with exception of occasional road noise it was very quiet The grounds are beautiful and something interesting is always waiting to be discovered

The location made it easy to wonder around town on foot Breakfast was nice Room service was available (though Larks was very underwhelming) The staff are thoroughly impressive I could spend a great deal of time here

Sulekha Alath

Wonderful location, interesting history, great service, gracious and helpful staff I love the decor, especially the lobby, full of natural light, the cozy fire place a great place to hang out of a crisp evening and several other tastefully decorated nooks for reading or a good conversation with a friendly doggie at your feet This hotel is dog friendly

Complementary breakfast is well balanced, substantial and a very convenient plus; you can enjoy it sitting in the gallery mezzanine level overlooking the lobby The Queen Petite room is just enough for 1 person The bathroom could use a towel rail/ ring near the washbasin and shower, there are no options to hang towels where you need them in these areas There are no easily accessible power outlets in the room There is a coffee maker but to use it I had to scout for an outlet and heave the dresser aside to access the only outlet I could find – behind it! Same issue for charging my phone I highly recommend this hotel

Henry Hon Woo

If you’re into history and architecture or just good old stories you have to go visit this beautiful well kept hotel! We just grab a cup of coffee from the hotel restaurant on the ground floor and hung out in the lobby for a bit Was trying to be discreet didnt want to disturb the guests there Really in love with those extended ceiling fans… the spring blossom center piece was a very timely nice touch! There are many many historic buildings in the United States and it is good to know some are very well protected and taken care of! 🥳🥳👍👍

This is a brand new place and it is absolutely wonderful The rooms have two big screen TVs, very comfortable beds (I usually don’t sleep well in other beds than the one I have at home These were so comfortable I had no issues falling right to sleep! I had such a great experience at this hotel The customer service was absolutely spot on I have come to expect in recent years, that housekeeping would be very limited

I returned to a spotless and refreshed room everyday, without even asking As a Bonvoy member, I was warmly received and room preferences acknowledged This property is fairly new, quiet and very clean Great gym as well! It is centrally located with several food options right across the parking lot This will be my stop from now on in Southern Oregon

The rooms are meticulous Bathrooms are sleek and very stylish Water pressure at the sink could use a boost, and the Air conditioning unit was unusually loud

We had the best two night stay at the TouVelle House James and Kristin were wonderful hosts, and we felt right at home The hotel is walkable to everything in Jacksonville (the cutest small town!), and they have bikes to borrow to get to the nearby wineries

The pool was a great set up, with lots of chairs and space The room was quiet, and the bed was very comfortable The BEST part of the visit was the breakfast James cooked up such a wonderful spread that was different each morning It was really a great touch to our stay Highly recommend visiting TouVelle House!

Thecrazychic72

Such a wonderful experience, a beautiful house, and incredible breakfast! James is an amazing chef and you won’t believe the yummy food he makes every morning! The house is breath taking, the room was cute and the bed was so comfortable it was hard to get up! The town of Jacksonville is adorable and so welcoming Everyone is so nice, and the town is like a blast from the past We will most definitely be back, we are extremely happy with our stay 😊

Vaia Potter

Slept like a baby! Upon entering this beautiful historic house, I was immediately transported to another time and was greeted with a lovely tour There were fabric walls in my room and an extremely comfortable bed with down pillow top and pillows and fine linens making a very cozy room It was very quiet and I slept like a baby

Woke up and dipped in the hot tub, then enjoyed the hot sauna and cold dipped in the pool to make the experience officially spa like There was always coffee and treats available One of the owners James made me breakfast at my desired time and it was a delicious egg souffle! Looking out the big window in the dining area watching deer and having nice conversation with other guests over coffee and breakfast was extremely pleasant I loved my stay and so did my sweet pup companion who was very welcomed I’m so happy what a treat! Highly recommend

Very nice and spacious room at a reasonable price The breakfast (microwavable egg + cheese + ham on an English muffin) was fine, but you had to get it from the front desk, and we went down to get it 3 or 4 times and there was nobody there Lots of guests milling about just like us

Suggest making it easier for guests to get the breakfast

mr meeting

Front desk staff was great! The room was not, the bed sheets had stains and made me itchThere was a hole in the ceiling above the shower, and someone slid my receipt under my door at 5 am waking me upI did not feel comfortable staying, and would have left after checking in if not for the weather

I didn’t take any pictures, but the place is super nice It’s not a new hotel, but they’ve put in a ton of effort to keep the place looking great Very clean

Friendly staff We stayed in a suite, so there was a kitchenette, full fridge, tiny cooking range Lots of outlets Comfy beds Lots of seating The parking lot was very well lit Close to several restaurants, Costco, & a grocery store Nothing within walking distance, but 6 mins by car Grub hub delivers and there are snacks for purchase in the hotel And a great price We’ll definitely stay there again

Mike Nabers

Watch out when calling national number about park and fly My wife and I double confirmed that the rate we paid included park and fly for our trip This is standard practice for us as we fly often out of Medford airport and never had this problem at other hotels

Beware if you book park and fly online with “included” rate, it will cost you an extra $30 once you arrive

Great staff, clean & comfortable rooms What I’ve come to expect from HIE One issue we had was the AC not seeming to working properly

It was controlled from a wall unit and may have just needed a new thermostat or something, but it wouldn’t turn on until I set the temp to 65 If I set it any warmer it would turn off even though the room temp was reading 74-75 Anyways my big complaint and reason I wouldn’t stay here again is because of how much of a pain it was to get in and out of the location due to semis blocking the road trying to get into the pilot truck stop We sat between 5 and 10 minutes each time we entered or exited the hotel I know it’s not something the hotel can change, but it’s enough of a reason for me to choose the other holiday inn express in town next time I visit

Allison F

Would stay here again Generally clean and comfortable Old building but interiors are quite new

The room was cleaned quite well, though more attention to detail is needed The larger surfaces, like the floor and countertops, were cleaned well However, the corners and ledges in the bathroom had some hair left over from the last guest The nightstands around the phone and clock could have used some more detailed cleaning too–I assume the cleaning staff cleaned quickly around the items on the nightstandThe room smelled clean and fresh too, which is not always the case in hotels in this price rangeThe bed was very clean and generally comfortable The mattress was a bit too soft, but I expect this of hotels in this price range

K Tor

Hotel is off of Highway 5Holiday Inn is clean, staff is friendly, rooms are clean abd tidy with fridge, microwave, coffee maker with 4 coffee pods The room smelled smoke free the TV in our room was big but the quality of the signal/connection wasn’t good The beds are very comfortable as well as the pillows

We felt comfortable and at home in our room The was also supplied with a safe in the bottom of the closetClean pool area with 24 access to fitness areas as wellComplimentary breakfast 7am-10amCheckout is 12pmGrocery stores and fast food is close by if needed Also near FairgroundI would recommend if your passing or visiting the area

One star based on price and expectation It’s just an old house that looks good in pictures but worn out in person Probably way overpriced to keep out the riff raff and give an air of exclusivity

I didn’t see any shared areas that weren’t part of their restaurant or easily accessible that they had pictured on their website The front desk service, while polite, gave me a key and pointed up the stairsRented the “double garden room”: I don’t know what is double about it as it was much smaller than pictures suggested; the “garden” was the bar/restaurant patio with the room’s windows making it feel like a fishbowl for everyone to look in, as well as the street traffic It took a while to figure out how to pull down the blinds as they were a mix of cords and types, very tedious There was a tiny couch, tiny TV, and a weird sack of a mattress on a metal box There was a note to please not use the big pillows (“to keep them nice for other guests”, really?) and what was left was two small flat basic cheap pillows No phone charging ports or outlets available near the bed area I didn’t even sit on the tiny couch as the cushions were sloped down so much it looked like you would slide off I was tired and went to bed only to hear all the noise from rooms around me Got to sleep but then was awoken later by the bar closing and moving around tables and chairs in the patio belowI didn’t even stay for the breakfast as I was tired of being disappointed by this place Just over-priced to give an air of exclusivity

Naomi S

Just spent 3 nights here as the midpoint in Thanksgiving travel This place is a gem of an oasis with unique beautiful rooms, all different, and the welcoming amenities of flowers and treats are an elegant touch Beds are comfy with lovely grapefruit soaps and lotions

Alchemy on the grounds offers wonderful menu items, wines and specialty cocktails Breakfasts served are delightful as well

Larry Marks

Quiet, well appointed, clean, comfortable Most importantly, room was within stumbling distance of Alchemy restaurant Staff was friendly, most helpful and accommodating

Only 1 complaint Hot water supply is apparently quite distant from the out buildings Took a long time running water to get hot water for bath or shower

What a jewel!! The attention to detail is a reflection of the attentive staff From delicious locally roasted coffees and mid century furnishings everything was well thought out for an extremely cozy stay The Gardens were beautiful and our dog felt like royalty, with her own bed and treats on her pillow

We have been traveling for three week and the Palms was the first hotel I can truly say I would recommend and enjoyed We changed our reservation and stayed an extra night The room was clean and not overly perfumedI highly recommend staying at the Palms!

Easy sweet place! Spotless with the nicest touches of great soap, moisturizer The bed and pillows perfect for a great night’s sleep The Palm is small with individual units but they also offer a house for a bigger group or just more space

Their pool area is wonderful too Cabanas for the day if you want one! Staff is fantastic and ready to help Beautiful grounds, lovely experience at The Palm

I’m a big Hilton fan and enjoyed my stay here The staff are super friendly and helpful The moment you walk in the front lobby you feel welcome and you notice the cleanliness

I also like the lemon and cucumber water available to customers If I do have one complaint it would be the bathroom sliding doors that allow no privacy when sharing a room with someone Doors don’t lock and gaps on both sides allow others to see in while someone is using it

We had to make last-minute reservations to stay at the Hilton which was close to the Asante hospital in Medford Myself and two other sisters who had flown in, were there to say “goodbye” to another sister in the hospitalThe front desk staff went above and beyond anything we’ve ever experienced in Customer Service

Because of the circumstances and to make life a little more tolerable, they gave us breakfast coupons, ice cream sandwiches for our room, and offered to take us to the hospital if necessaryI can’t even imagine in this day and age that hotel staff could be so kind and helpful It is a rarityOur rooms were clean and comfortable and we had everything we neededThis is the hotel you want to stay in

I wish I could give it 5 stars but the pillows in this hotel are the absolute worst Ive ever slept on They are flat as a pancake and not comfortable or supportive which made getting a good nights sleep impossible The rooms are beautiful however, very clean, and the beds are comfortable too

Its just those awful pillows! If your staying here, bring your own pillows!

Arrived exhausted after driving all day only to be told our room hadn’t been cleaned yet! We even called them 1 hr prior to let them know our ETA We had to wait while the room linens were hastily changed by a front desk person (thank you) When we entered the room, we could see the remnants left by the prior party

We were uncomfortable to use anything, smudge marks and drips marks everywhere, gross This is totally unsanitary and unacceptable This property needs a deep clean The walls are so thin you can hear everything I swear the people above us were awake and walked the floor all night If it wasn’t so late and we weren’t so tired, we would have roomed elsewhere Also, the property and rooms show lack of maintenance We will be seeking reimbursement from our CC that we booked with

I go to, and quite frequently stay at home wood suites in the west, but this place was disgusting As we first walked in to our king bed double room suite, we noticed that the bathroom had noticeable urine stains all in the bathroom tile floor Immediately, we went to the front desk and requested that the stains were cleaned

The attendant was very kind and apologetic We had been told that the room would be mopped before we returned from dinner, only to find that the floor was still covered urine stains as we returned We ended up cleaning up the human fluids ourselves Later that evening we found open dog food in the corner of our room If you want a clean and comfortable room, stay at the Hilton next door Not here

Good deal and nice rooms – but- I’ve been in Hilton Honors for over a decade and this particular one literally has a tip jar made out of construction paper next to your breakfast buffet They also harass you for your key card before you can get breakfast Trashy way to treat us gusts and are you really guarding the coffee with a heightened security posture? Lose the tacky tip jar and pay your employees better
